Not you on my dash rn. HOW ARE YOU?!
Lmao I KNOW. Fandom is just not for me anymore 😔 I think Harry's has scarred me from ever joining another one lol. I liked the little community we had on here but it was overwhelmingly a negative experience for me. I'm not equipped to deal with misinformation and cruelty on a daily basis 👎🏾 But anyways I've been okay! Last year was reallyyyyyyy rough but since April/May I've been doing better! I got my board exam scores back last week and got above my goal score so that was exciting and now I'm just working on residency application stuff!

finished season two of the magnus archives! here is my s2 livetweet thread and here are my reflections/predictions from season one.
jon:
you are so fucking stupid. so incomprehensibly dumb. it is absolutely incredible how you lack any brain cells at all.
if jon was a dnd character he’d have a plus three to intelligence and a negative two to wisdom. i’m right.
[jon voice] people care about me? Must Be A Manipulation Tactic!
[jon voice, continued] literally everyone except for me is a) a murderer, b) using me, or c) hiding something. i, however, am totally fine and also sane and if you imply otherwise you are definitely Hiding Something and i need to stalk you.
seriously it’s a goddamn miracle he wasn’t fired or didn’t just like....explode on the spot
that awkward moment when you befriend a cop and get tapes that may lead to your successor’s cold murder case being solved but in the process you learn that you and your place of employment are actually owned by The Great, All-Powerful [REDACTED]
it’s so interesting listening to a man’s mental health and sanity decline in real time!
martin: do u want some tea? jon: you’re going to kill me huh?
[jon voice] it is a good idea for me to enter these dangerous tunnels alone on multiple occasions. i am fine.
his fatal flaw is still pursuit of knowledge. love that for him.
baby please you work for an entity that probably literally thrives off knowledge.......please grow some brain cells in season three before you literally die doing something stupid
i literally can’t say anything more about s2 jon that isn’t me just repeating “stupid dumb paranoid baby” over and over again
martin:
martin [shaking hands emoji] me playing the mediator as our family loses their minds around us
martin blackwell recieves everything he has ever wanted and needed challenge!!!
baby i love you
HE CARES SO MUCH AND NOBODY CARES ABOUT HIM.......
martin’s job this season is literally the concerned husband but we’re not ready to talk about that yet
my dude really stepped up at the end! he was gonna fight michael in hand to hand combat for jon and sasha and i’m so proud of him!
martin went from baby to hold my flower
martin saw some shit in season one and now he’s a badass
his poetry.....i cried i literally love him so much
when he was talking to tim in the tunnels and he just breaks. and yells. and says he wants to get out of here and save jon and help sasha and be happy and you know what if everything DID turn out in the end that would be kind of nice actually!!!!
we didn’t see much of him this season but from what we did, especially at the end......the character development.......he’s so much braver now, so much more ready to confront the horrors of the world around him. martin is one of those special people that runs on love and uses love as a driving force to fight for the things he needs.
i hope someday martin gets to sit down in a nice little cottage in the middle of nowhere with someone who loves him and just. relax. it’s what he deserves.
tim
you are the only bitch in this house i ever respected
literally just trying his best
so incredibly valid
GIVE HIM A BREAK
as someone who is the least confrontational person on the planet i really respect and admire tim calling jon out on his bullshit
that scene was so cathartic.....god.....
@ THE ELDRICH BEING RUNNING THE ARCHIVES CAN YOU PLEASE LET HIM GO HE JUST WANTS TO LEAVE
tim at the beginning of s2: hey jon you okay? you’re acting weird and it’s kind of freaking us out tim at the end of s2: fuck archivist lives and jon in particular,
and you know what? he’s right
i hope tim gets to go home. it won’t happen but i can dream.
are we just gonna brush over that part in the finale where michael just???? bamfed them to another dimension or something????? because neither tim nor martin seemed the least bit phased
honestly tim/jon has rights. i enjoy it.
he’s just so angry and hurt and done. he’s reached his limit. goodbye
get tim out of the archives s3!!! do it!!!
gertrude
wow i love you
every time i hear gertrude’s voice i just go [one thousand teary-eyes emojis]
there’s a lot we don’t know and there’s a lot that she knows. i wish we could like. raise her from the dead or something. altho honestly with a horror podcast who the hell knows
jon listening to/hyperfixating on gertrude is just a fancy way of him claiming her as his new mother figure
GOD I LOVE HER I WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT HER CAN WE GET A SPINOFF PLEASE
basira and daisy
the only cops with rights
that part where tim thought basira was jon’s girlfriend and they both dissolved into gay panic.....priceless
daisy step on me challenge. i’ve met her twice and i love her.
honestly basira is such a badass. stealing from the cops while being a cop? that takes guts and i really respect her lack of respect toward cops while being one
not to mention that entire business with that sentient cult darkness shit. she killed it in there (no pun intended). give her like a purple heart or something idk how cops work
daisy.....please tell me your secrets. what have you seen. what do you know.
melanie
please work for the archives i am BEGGING you
my ghost hunter girlfriend
i love her and jon’s relationship. just pure loathing. tension between the hunter and the archivist. i live for that shit.
but under that it’s like Oh Shit I Actually Care A Lot???? like their loathing comes from their businesses being judgemental enemies, but personally they actually have a lot in common and care for each others’ wellbeing.
i really hope melanie sticks around so we can learn more about her and see her friendship with jon grow into....an actual friendship
shes also a total badass and both her research and deducing skills are so good. she’s just a great archive candidate overall.
michael
[REDACTED]
what the fuck are you
what the fuck do you want
why do i like you so much.
okay there’s a lot more going on here but i’m putting my predictions under the cut!
okay lets check out my predictions from last time.
Tumblr media
okay this one was partially right! “entities” rule the world apparently, and the archive is run by one of them. sort of got that!
Tumblr media
.....yeah that didn’t happen.
Tumblr media
hell yeah! i’m proud of myself for this one, even though the time loop part wasn’t true. i thought “time loop” because her voice started echoing when she hit the table, but turns out that was just her crazy long copy taking over. oh well!
Tumblr media
nope. gertrude was killed by elias, apparently. fucker.
Tumblr media
WELL.........
Tumblr media
okay. this one is complicated because i was sort of correct but there’s still a lot of information i don’t know. gonna give myself half credit for this one i think.
Tumblr media
REMEMBER IN THE FINALE WHEN MARTIN THOUGHT HE SAW SASHA AND TIM HAD TO STOP HIM FROM RUNNING IN TO SAVE HER? YEAH.
okay, season three predictions. let's go.
(disclaimer: while i haven’t been actively looking up spoilers or engaging in the tma tag, i also haven’t muted the tag or anything associated with it. i have ideas of what’s to come but they’re vague and mostly come from fanart on my dash/timeline).
jon just gives up. he’s having to much of a crisis to do anything other than his job.
jonmartin endgame still
michael becomes a sort of??? constant presence??? at the archive. everyone just kind of accepts it.
the books and the entities make a lot more things make sense. that’s really vague i know but like.
predictions for the entities:
fire/destruction
knowledge (jon stans rise up)
empty/alone (these stories always get to me the most. the ones where you’re endlessly falling or trapped in a cave or can’t sleep or stuck in space. shit scares me more than anything else)
chaos (i think michael is with this one. the doors also fit into this category, and maybe that shipping company)
death/id (brings out the bareness of human instinct. the meat, the bloodlust, and the death. maybe even the bugs go here, but they’re confusing. i don’t know where they fit.)
each entity represents a deep-set human fear. they were created to either teach us lessons or keep us in line.
sometimes they have devoted followers. sometimes they have disciples or avatars. you can lose yourself to them if you aren’t careful. jane was probably an avatar, that girl with the heat powers on hilltop road was an avatar, that guy with the lightning powers was an avatar, etc.
the books can teach you how to connect with the entities, but you have to be actually insane to try it. (if you aren’t already, you certainly will by the time you finish the reading/ritual. if you even survive)
anyway back to actual plot.
jon learns more from gertrude’s tapes about elias and the archives. maybe even the entities. he doesn’t want to know, but as we’ve learned, he Just Can’t Not Know.
jon finally grows a brain cell and lets people (martin) take care of him. a little.
tim is just there. he hates it but he can’t leave. (someone please get him out this is so sad)
melanie and basira join up with the archive, but for different reasons. melanie because jon asks her to, basira because despite her best interest she couldn’t stay away.
at the end of the season we’ll either meet a powerful avatar person of one of the entities themselves. that will be.....interesting.
elias gets hit by a bus. won’t happen but i can dream.
what ever happened to that one man from season one who had the dreams about death? i loved his statement. is there anyone out there like him? will jon receive a message like gertrude did?
WHAT IS THE LIGHTER FOR. i completely forgot about it until i looked at my last predictions and saw it mentioned.
martin is more active in tapes (again unlikely but i can dream. i love him)
that’s about all i got! i’m going to post this and immediately start season three. wish me luck :)

Tumblr media
The moonlight spilled onto the carpeted floors and the balcony door was open, causing a small breeze to flow through the room, ruffling the drapes that were still open. Y/N had positioned herself on her side on the bed, facing the window. She let out a sigh, feeling as though she had been laid like that for what felt like hours but in reality had only been 40 minutes, waiting for the only person that seemed sane in the crazy world that she lived in.
Being a princess was fun, sometimes. However, always having to look your best, behave in certain ways and only being able to socialise with particular people really ruined the experience. So this resulted in the position she was in now. Laying on the bed, dressed in a pair of cotton shorts and a white shirt that belonged to the man she was waiting for. His smell still lingered on it from the last time he had worn it.
He had come to visit her after a ball her parents had thrown, the alcohol still making its way through his veins, causing him to be much more giggly than usual but she wasn’t complaining, it was extremely adorable. He had spent the night, with both of them cuddling in bed, nothing more. They had left the balcony doors open in their slightly drunken state and when Bucky had woken in the night, he noticed Y/N shivering beside him, curling up to him as close as possible to chase his heat. He reached down to the floor, picking up his shirt that he had discarded earlier on, slowly he eased her sleeping body into it, not forgetting to button it up.
He lay there for a moment, admiring her as she smiled slightly in her sleep. His heart swelled with the love he held for this girl but it soon started to break down when he realised they would never be allowed to see each other openly. She was a princess, she deserved a true prince to marry, and that’s what he had heard her parents talking about at the ball. They were picking out potential suitors for her. She had no idea about it, he knew she would never agree to it if she had the choice. However, she didn’t, so it was inevitable they would be separated.
Y/N was broken out of her thoughts by the sound of footsteps on her balcony, she sat up on the bed, waiting for whoever was there to make themselves known. The large figure walked slowly into the room. The moonlight coming in from behind him causing a shadow to be cast on his face, but she knew who it was instantly as soon as he started talking.
“Princess?” His voice was gruff, but there was a playfulness to it as well, “isn’t it past your bed time?” A small giggle fell past Y/N’s lips, “I don’t think so, I’ve been waiting for my knight in shining armour to rescue me.” As she spoke, she slowly walked her way over until she was stood in front of the man. She looked up at him, his piercing blue eyes staring down at her in adoration. “I hope I’m not too late, there was a meeting with the king,” Bucky’s voice was low as he spoke, one of his hands holding onto Y/N’s waist, the other making its way through her soft hair, tucking it behind her ear. “I don’t mind, Buck, I know how he is,” she smiled softly, grabbing the hand that rested on her waist and walking back over to her bed.
She settled herself as Bucky sat next to her, letting her get under the covers while he stayed sitting on top. “Are you not getting in?” She asked, wiggling her eyebrows as she lifted up the edge of the covers. He let out a chuckle, shaking his head at her antics before looking down at this hands in his lap. “We need to talk, princess,” at this Y/N’s face fell, she had a feeling this would happen soon. Her parents were getting older and it wouldn’t be long before they were passing on their duties to her, she just wished she could take Bucky along with her, but her father would never agree.
“Go on,” she whispered, pulling the covers closer to her as a source of comfort. “I love you, I always have and I always will, I want you to know that,” Bucky started, reaching out to hold one of Y/N’s hands. She let him lace his fingers through her, knowing how hard it was for him to be open and vulnerable. “I heard your father talking about suitor for you,” he looked up at his love as he felt her hand tighten around his. “I know that isn’t what you want but I don’t want things to become complicated between us when you choose someone else to marry, I want you to be free to make those decisions and I don’t want you to feel tied to me.”
Y/N started shaking her head, “no, Bucky, I will not agree, I will not marry someone else when I have all I need in front of me!” She was on her knees now, grabbing more firmly at Bucky’s hands. “Shh princess, I know, but this is what you have to do, this is what you were born into and I have no right to stop this happening, it is your legacy.”
“I want you to be a part of it, Bucky! You are my love and I want to marry you, no one else.” Tears were stinging Y/N’s eyes, she knew this is what she had to do, but hearing it from Bucky’s mouth made it a reality. A reality that she wished she wasn’t part of.
“Princess, I will return to my station as your father’s knight, I will see you in the morning for your family breakfast,” with this Bucky stood up, letting Y/N’s hands drop to bed. “Goodnight, your highness.”
All Y/N could do was watch in shock as Bucky made his way back to the window, not even looking back at her as he left. After a few moments, tears started falling down her face and a sob left her mouth. Her hands flew up to try and stop the soft cries, not wanting to be too loud and alert the guards in the hallway. It took a long time for her to finally fall asleep that night, teardrops still falling on her pillow as she finally drifted away.
Y/N was extremely quiet the next morning. She let her maids dress her, do her hair and makeup without commenting on anything they were doing. They would frequently ask if she was okay and each time she would nod, not making eye contact with any of them. She slowly walking to the dining hall for breakfast, an awful feeling settling in her stomach as she got closer. The thought of seeing Bucky and knowing that what they shared was now over made her heart twist in pain.
As she entered the dining room, all heads turned her way. A new face was sat at the table, next to her father, but her eyes instantly searched for Bucky and found him stood next to her father’s other guard, Steve. Both their heads turned in her direction, Bucky’s eyes piercing into her, but she had to look away, otherwise tears may have left her eyes again. Instead, her eyes moved back to her parents at the table and the man sat in her space.
“Darling,” her mother called, “come and meet Brock, we’re hoping he can be your suitor.” Y/N’s heart dropped to her stomach and her eyes instantly flitted over to Bucky, although he wasn’t looking at her, his eyes were cast downwards.
She made her way over to the table, sitting next to her mother and sending Brock a small smile. She let her parents do most of the talking, only joining in when it was necessary, focusing on the food on her plate instead of what was happening around her. “Y/N, how would you feel about spending the night with Brock, you can get to know him a little better?” Her father’s voice made her eyebrows shoot upwards, did her parents really think that was a good idea? Her head was telling her to go along with it, to please her parents as she had done all her life but her heart was telling her another thing, and it eventually won the battle.
“I’m sorry father, but I cannot do this, this is not what I want and I already know who I want to marry.” Bucky’s head snapped up, looking at the back of Y/N’s head as she spoke. “I’m in love with another man, and I will not give it up for this kingdom, I will only take over your rule if you let me marry my love.”
The anger could be seen in her father’s face, and although he tried to remain calm, fury still seeped through. “You shall not marry another, you will marry who we choose because we know what is best for my kingdom, I will not let you be this reckless!” His voice rose as he spoke but Y/N held her ground, her face not showing any emotion as he continued his onslaught.
His voice eventually drawled out in her mind, other things playing on it instead. Her feet starting moving without her conscious thought, moving quicker and quicker, wanting to remove her from the situation. She vaguely heard her father ordering someone to follow her and bring her back but she didn’t stop, and as soon as she got to her room, she turned to slam the door but a hand stopped her. “Leave me!” She shouted, pushing against the force. “Y/N, calm down,” the voice instantly made her stop and she let go of the door. Bucky walked around it, closing the door behind him gently and locking it.
“What are you doing? This is your life you’re messing up,” Bucky questioned, trying to reach out and stop Y/N’s pacing. He grabbed her arm, pulling her into his body as she started hyperventilating. “I cant marry someone else Bucky, I want to marry you, I could never do that to you,” Y/N’s voice was quiet as she spoke into Bucky’s chest, her arms wrapped tightly around him as she though he would disappear at any minute. “I know darling, but there’s nothing else we can do,” he placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.
“Let’s leave Buck,” Y/N looked up at him, her eyes watery. “We can’t-” Bucky was interrupted to knocking on the door. “Please Bucky, come with me?” Y/N pulled on the jacket of him dark uniform. He let out a soft sigh, leaning down and placing a gentle kiss against Y/N’s lips. “Let’s go, princess.”

nur du.
Tumblr media
nur du; only you in German
“I don’t know what do at this point any more. I think we should break up; it would be for the better.”
“No, you’re not leaving me, not when there’s so many ways we could do this without a breakup.”
“I don’t think there is, I’m sorry, I love you but I can’t keep doing this to myself.”
genre: angst, romance
word count: 2k (1,999)
a/n: my german is rusty so idk if that’s correct i was torn between du/dich, lemme know if im wrong or right :)
Relationships are never easy, you could easily say they were my kind of thing. I’ll get ready for the next cliche, they won’t my thing until I met him, I started to believe in love because of him but I started to forget what it was like to be loved because of him as well. Jungkook was the man of my dreams, he was everything I wanted and more. However, he no longer had the time for me nor the patience.
“Listen, I know you’re a busy person but could you at least try to make time for me. I don’t want to be clingy but it’s been far too long since we’ve been on a date, do you know how long it’s been? It’s been six months.” you said to him but he paid you no attention. “Why am I even here? You tell me to come over, only to ignore me like you have been for the past few months; do you even know what’s been happening in my life?” you questioned him as you reached to grab your jacket, preparing to leave, only minutes after you arrived.
“Sure, I do. You act.” he monotonously replied to you, not even moving an inch from his position on the sofa. “Jungkook, I got the role in a KBS Drama, do you know how big of a deal that is? Of course, you don’t. You didn’t even know that I auditioned, did you?” you said, laughing in disbelief at the remains of your relationship. Silence. “I feel like I’m the only one fighting for us and it hurts, where have you been all this time? Your friends are more interested in me and you are; even when I got my role in the drama, they congratulated me, took me out to have a celebratory meal, and you didn’t. Do you understand how much that hurt me? You’re supposed to be my boyfriend not them.” you were on the verge of screaming but you internalised those emotions in order to not cause a scene.
“Why don’t you just date them? You seem to spend more time with them anyway.” “I don’t want them! I want you but you can’t even clear one day for me.” you shouted, this time holding back the tears that were threatening to flow out of your eyes. “Okay, when are you next free?” he asked, not a care in his voice. “Not for another five months, you would’ve known that if you had actually spoken to me. I have to fly out of the country for the drama.” you said, calming yourself down with the thought of being able to get away. “Then what am I supposed to do about this? I don’t have time, you don’t have time. What’s your solution?” he said, this time actually putting the effort in to face you.
“I don’t know what do at this point any more. I think we should break up; it would be for the better.” you suggested. “No, you’re not leaving me, not when there’s so many ways we could do this without a breakup.” he sternly replied. “I don’t think there is, I’m sorry, I love you but I can’t keep doing this to myself.”
A week later you were flying out of Seoul to Zurich. This is exactly what you needed and although it was for work, it was still a getaway for you. During the past week, Jungkook hadn’t even tried to contact you. You were seen of by Taehyung and Jimin instead of him and although it hurt slightly, the two of you were over and that was that. You just needed time to heal.
“I messed up.” the younger male said as he appeared in front of Yoongi’s house. “What are you doing here? Is everything alright? What did you mess up?” he worriedly asked the maknae but he stayed silent. “Look, come in. Why don’t we talk inside?” and Jungkook complied, walking straight to the living room. “What exactly did you mess up?” “She broke up with me. I messed up as her boyfriend and she’ll never come back for me.” he said, tears forming in his round eyes. “What made her break up with you?” “I had no time for her, I hadn’t been on a date with her in over 6 months and I knew nothing about her life; I had no idea she even auditioned for that drama…”
“Look, kid. Relationships, they’re not my thing. But I can tell you this. They’ll never be easy and you’ll go through alot together and individually but if she’s worth fighting for, you gotta keep going. Even if she doesn’t come back to you, at least you tried. I don’t wanna tell you that you were a shitty boyfriend or anything because everyone has a low point in their relationships, she just happened to be strong enough to let go to stop her own suffering.” “She said she loves me, so why did she leave?” “I’m telling you, she loved you enough to let you go.”
You found yourself constantly checking your phone to see if there was a new message from Jungkook. Nothing. Although you were the one who cut him off, you still wanted him to message you and talk to you, not completely blank you out from his life. Here, you had no one to talk to, not about this stuff at least. Even if you were close to your fellow actresses/actors, no one was close enough to comfort you.
While you were in your dressing room, an hour ahead of the shoot, you received a call. “Hello.” you answered absentmindedly, not caring enough to check who had called. “___, can you talk right now?”, it was Yoongi, not your best friend but he was close to you. “Yeah, what’s up? Everything okay back home?” “Well, for the most part but umm… Jungkook…” “What about him?” “He’s disappeared, he took his phone with him and just drove off somewhere. No one knows where he’s gone.” “What? Is he stupid? Why would he do that?” you asked, your shock causing the stylists to jump slightly, you bowed in apology. “I don’t know, the last time I spoke to him was about you.” “I, I just want him to be safe. Please do everything you can to find him, safely.”
You couldn’t believe your ears, was this boy out of his mind? Why would he just drive off and disappear on everyone like that. You tried to reach his phone but due to the fact that you were in another country you could only reach him if he also had wifi.
“I don’t know what kind of stunt you’re pulling but I want you to be safe and at home, Jungkook. I don’t want to lose you to a mistake you make.”
“…I’m sorry, I’m not going to be home for a while. I won’t make any stupid mistakes; I’m in Busan.”
“Jungkook, you can’t just run away from your life because one thing didn’t work out.”
“No, you can’t tell me that. Because that’s exactly what you did as well.”
“Regardless of what I did or didn’t do, you should’ve been better than me and stayed in Seoul. And I’m here to act not as a getaway, remember, I’m still working over here.”
“You don’t need to decide what I choose to do.”
The short-lived conversation frustrated you, your now ex-boyfriend was always the arrogant type but when you needed him to be sane, he wouldn’t be. You placed your phone on the table as you took a breath and sat down opposite your mirror to have your hair done. Not even 5 seconds after you took a breath, your phone rang. It was Yoongi, again. “He’s in Busan.” he sighed over the phone. “I heard. He better not do anything dumb.” you sighed, really wishing you could be home to figure this whole thing out. “Remember, he’s not a child. He hates being babied, so give him a chance to do things his way.” Yoongi was right, you always babied him, despite being the same age, it was always you telling him how to do things; it must have been a blow to his ego.
It had been almost a month since you’ve been in Zurich and since Jungkook fled to Busan. A month of silence, neither of you had messaged the other, in fear of saying something that would continue to hurt them or continue to fuel their anger. Today you were in a beautiful garden, rich greens and passionate colours surrounded you; you were filming the first kiss for your character and her counterpart. It was weird not kissing someone you loved, you still weren’t used to the whole feeling but it was your job. You ventured into the garden before the shoot started and found yourself staring at every other flower; however, your favourite was a simple hybrid tea rose, it was bold, passionate and a symbol of love. Love. Something you had but hadn’t been returned to you, or so you felt. Your character was being loved but that didn’t suffice, it was nowhere near the love you needed in your relationship.
You wandered around the beautiful setting again after the shoot, many other people were also there, admiring the beauty that nature had managed to produce. As you strolled around the blissful garden you found yourself being drawn towards the same rose as before; you had no idea why but it intrigued you in various ways. Right when you reappeared by the rose bush, a familiar hand reached out to brush the delicate petals. You turned slightly to look at the owner of the hand and it was none other than Jungkook.
“Fancy seeing you here.” he smiled as he tucked his hands into his jacket pocket, why he was even wearing a jacket in the warmth of Swiss summer puzzled you. “Why are you here? I thought you were in Busan.” you told him, your eyes still fixed on the soft-looking rose. “I was and then I needed out so I came here, not realising you were here since you didn’t mention where you would be when we fought.” he chuckled. “Seriously, what were the odds of this?”
“Why did you just get up and leave?” you asked him, finally giving into looking into his beautiful brown eyes. “I was hurt by what you had said; it was a real wake up call but you had already made your decision to leave and nothing I could say or do would probably sway you.” he told you as he remembered the events. “You told me that you still love me but you didn’t let me speak about my feelings before you left.”
“I was a mess, I was leaving the country soon after and I was tired of being hurt. You were so cold and I didn’t know why.” you told him, recalling the way he acted around you. “I admit I was cold, I was annoying but I have nothing to justify it; the stress I felt I just pushed onto you without considering your feelings and I understand that you wanted out but I just wish I could go back and prevent it from blowing up.” he told you truthfully, removing his hands from his pockets to hold your own, causing you to look down and stare at the way they perfectly fit. “You need to know that I love you and didn’t stop for this past month, being without you hurt and I realised how bad of a boyfriend I was recently; I need to make it up to you and give you months of dates back. It’s only ever been you for me.” His last statement caused a smile to spread across your face and you looked up at him, his eyes sparkled like stars in the night sky, “Why not start?”

Ooh awesome!!! Tysm! I always thought that they become 100 percent more willing to do impulsive crap when they're together so maybe having a quiet secret wedding at Telma's with their friends right before their royal wedding??? Idk something like that!
Nonny you genius! I’m setting this in the same universe as my Zelda sneaks out of the Castle to go see Link fic you don’t have to have read that one first to understand this one
This took way longer than I thought it would, and ended up being way longer than I thought it would.
 Hope you enjoy.
It took him a few months to realise it, but Link hated weddings.
Not the act of joining two people in matrimony, he thought that was quite beautiful. It was the whole pomp and circumstance that surrounded it. The needing to choose a venue, the endless hours spent on deciding a menu, the never ending wave of things to prepare, the monotonous fittings for the three outfit changes! The whole thing was a logistical nightmare and he hated every second of it.
The only thing that made the whole ordeal bearable was the wedding night.
The idea of being able to hold his wife in his arms, tangled in their sheets with loving smiles on their faces, was the only thing keeping the Hero of Twilight sane!
He’d proposed to Zelda during one of the now regular outings they shared. With Ashei, Shad, and Auru remaining in Castle Town to work before setting off on other adventures, it had been easy to arrange a time for the resistance to meet up in Telma’s bar. Rusl would often visit too when he was in town, preferring to stay with his own wife in Ordon.
They’d been sitting at the table, Zelda having long since abandoned her own chair to take a seat in Link’s lap (not that he minded) Ashei and Shad had shared a funny look when the Queen of Hyrule made herself comfortable, an arm draped over her Hero’s shoulder whilst his snaked around her waist to keep her from falling; To anyone else the action would have been scandalous! It wasn’t right it wasn’t proper!
But Zelda always felt more courageous in Link’s presence.
Link had quickly found himself lost in the moment. The sounds of the bar, the drunken patrons, the cheers and songs, and the laughs drowning him in their embrace. The soft amber light from the oil lamps and candles casting dancing shadows across Zelda’s face as he looked up at her. The way her eyes twinkled like starlight, the utter joy he saw there. He got lost in the feel of her body pressed against his, the way her hand absentmindedly played with the loose stitching at the collar of his tunic.
He’d relished the domesticity of the moment, as she reached for the table, stealing some of the salad he’d neglected to eat from their meal. He’d watched as she’d laughed at something Rusl had said, Link hadn’t heard it. He’d been too distracted by the odd feeling welling up in his chest.
He wasn’t sure what possessed him in that moment. He’d taken the hand she’d been using to pilfer his salad, gently prying the fork from her grasp so he could lace her fingers through his. She’d given him an inquisitive look, watching as he brought their joined hands to his lips. He’d watched her blush as he pressed a kiss, that lingered entirely too long to be innocent, against her knuckles.
“Zelda” he said, the two having long foregone titles and ranks.
“Yes my love?”
His mouth went dry, his heart hammered under her gaze. Her blue eyes carried a wisdom beyond her years. He prayed silently, begging Farore to bestow upon him the courage to ask the beautiful, amazing, woman in front of him the most difficult question he’d ever had to ask anyone.
 “Marry me?”
She’d struggled to hear his voice above the sea of noise in the bar. His eyes pleading gently. She’d felt her heart swell to almost bursting when he ran his thumb over the back of her hand.
For a second he had been terrified that she would say no. That she would leap off his lap and call him an idiot, that she’d be disgusted by the idea of marrying a goat herder such as himself. He braced himself for the inevitable heartbreak as she slipped her hand out of his.
He’d been surprised when that hand moved to cup his cheek, bringing him closer to her as she swooped down and stole his lips in a kiss. The soft feel of her lips against his, the velvet of her skirts beneath his fingers as he held her close to him, The beating of his heart pounding against his chest eased his fears.
Pulling apart, Zelda rested her forehead against his. Her eyes shining with unshed tears of joy as a wide smile blossomed on her lips. Link moved his hand to brush her hair behind her elegant pointed ear.
 “Is that a yes?”
“What do you think? Hero”
Her smile transformed into a smirk as he pressed his lips against hers once more, capturing them in a passionate kiss.
Getting the council to agree with their marriage hadn’t been as hard as Link was expecting. He’d braced himself for a battle, to fight tooth and nail to be with the woman he loved. Yet thankfully he met very little resistance.
Of course there were some members of the council who disagreed; Claiming that his status as a low born was detrimental to the running of a country, they were silenced as soon as Zelda stood up in his defense. She argued that, as Hero, he’d shown great loyalty to the Crown and to Hyrule, risking his life to save and protect. He was loved by the people of Hyrule, and most importantly he was loved by her. She had the utmost faith that he would prove himself to be a natural and noble leader and a loving husband.
The council seemed unanimous after that, agreeing wholeheartedly with their Queen and showing a new enthusiasm for the upcoming nuptials.
This was Link’s first clue that things were not going to be easy.
Within what felt like mere seconds, Link was swept up into the world of royalty and politics. Members of the court all seemed to rush forward, showering him with compliments and congratulations. Now that he was the future Prince Consort to the Queen, they seemed to be falling over themselves in an attempt to get close to him. They offered him gifts of jewels and clothes, invited him to dances and parties, all in order to win some kind of favour. Link wasn’t stupid, he knew exactly what they were doing. He’d listened to Zelda complain about the court often enough during their long walks together in the gardens to understand that the gifts he was receiving were bribes and nothing more.
He didn’t have time to worry or feel offended though, for soon his days were filled with pointless questions and inane blather on topics he didn’t care for and problems he didn’t know much about. When his days used to be filled with training the royal guards and meeting with the generals about security and safety, now they were filled with meetings about table runners and flower arrangements. The whole situation was incredibly fatiguing to the Goat Herd turned Prince.
Zelda, for her part, took the planning and preparation in her stride. She joked that ruling a country had prepared her for anything. As Link sat on her bed, exhausted after a day of inactivity, watching her brush her long auburn hair as she read through pages and pages of legal documents and wedding RSVP’s he was inclined to believe her.
He let a lazy smile settle on his lips as his eyes traced over her seated form. He admired the way the candle light shone against her skin, her eyes sharp and focused on the letters in front of her, her soft hair falling through her fingertips. His heart swelled with pride, in only a few short months he would be able to call her his wife. He could hardly wait! Getting up from his perch on her bed, he walked over to where she was sitting.
She didn’t hear him coming, his footsteps silent against the polished floors. Harvest reports and seating plans swam behind her eyes, but she remained determined. Glancing over the pile of RSVP’s in front of her. There’s still so much to do she lamented It’s going to take years to sort this out. Calloused hands on her shoulders ripped her from her thoughts. She snapped to look at her reflection in the mirror, Link’s handsome face smiling back at her.
“Rupee for your thoughts?” His soft voice causing a chill to pass down her spine.
She could tell him, she reasoned. She could tell him just how stressed she was, how bored she was of the constant questions. She could tell him about the ladies at court who seemed more excited for the wedding than she did, of the lords who bickered behind her back claiming it was unfair that Link had won her heart. She could tell him everything.
“What are weddings like in Ordon?” she asked, leaning tiredly against him. A confused look passed over his features. His hands moved to run down her bare arms feeling the slight goosebumps that rose at his touch. His gaze met hers in the mirror.
 “Why do you wanna know?”
Zelda shrugged, reaching for one of the hands on her arm. She laced her fingers through his, enjoying the feel of his rough skin against hers.
“I’m just curious is all. I wouldn’t think they’d be too different from the weddings we have in Castle Town”
A sardonic laugh escaped Link’s throat. The noise took Zelda by surprise as he kneeled down beside her, wrapping his arms around her waist and enjoying the feel of soft silk beneath his fingertips. He buried his face against her shoulder blade, his hot breath ghosting against her back.
“They’re nothing like weddings here”
She fought back a shiver as he began peppering her shoulder with kisses.
“Tell me what they are like?” She reached a hand up to play with his soft golden hair, eyes falling shut as she relaxed in his arms.
“Small” he murmured, trailing his kisses up her slender neck “simple. No one really does much. There’s a big meal but that’s about it, it’s more about the people getting married than it is about the spectacle of it all.
They share simple vows and then the Mayor pronounces them Man and Wife. They’re given good luck charms, usually made from Goat Horns decorated with flowers, and that it. They’re married”
Zelda let out a relaxed hum as his lips found the sensitive spot beneath her ear
“That sounds heavenly my love” she signed, feeling him smile slightly against her skin “absolutely heavenly”
Months had passed since that peaceful night, and Link found himself in an uncomfortable situation.
He’d been kidnapped, forced against his will to sit on an uncomfortable chair, in an uncomfortable suit, and listen as an uncomfortably posh man droned on and on and on about weddings and parades. Stifling a yawn behind his ridiculously frilled cuff, he tried his best to appear interested for the benefit of the beautiful woman next to him.
Zelda was as poised and as elegant as ever. Her expression was schooled into one of distant interest as she cast a quick glance at the different designs of china set out in front of her. She appeared the very image of a Queen, the golden crown she wore shone against her skin, giving her an ethereal glow.
Her presence beside him was both a blessing and a distraction. A blessing in the sense that he did not have to sit through this cruel and unusual torture alone. And a distraction in the sense that it was impossible to concentrate on anything but her!
“What is your opinion Sir Link?” the posh gentleman asked, drawing his attention away from the Queen. What’s his name again? Link asked himself Sir Joan? Sir Jorah? No that’s not it
“My opinion?” Link asked, trying to act like he’d been paying attention to something other than his fiancee.
“Yes Sir Link, your opinion on the series of events that are to take place on the day of your nuptials” The expression in his voice was that of controlled snobbery. Link decided he didn’t like him. Zelda shifted next to him, pinning the obnoxious noble with a blank stare. She said nothing, but her silence said volumes. Like watched as the noble shrank back under the Queen’s cold glare.
“I think it’s…very good” Link ventured, though in truth he had very little idea what he was talking about. He’d have to ask Zelda about it later, when they were alone.
“I agree with my fiancee” Zelda spoke up, her hand inching closer to his on the plush velvet couch they perched on. “The three hour service to our divine trinity before the wedding ceremony is an excellent idea. However it breeches the tradition of hiding the bride from the groom’s view until the sharing of vows. How do you plan on rectifying this?”
Link snuck a glance in Zelda’s direction. She couldn’t be serious? Three hours spent praying before the actual wedding was ridiculous in his opinion. A wedding should be about the people, not how long and ostentatious they could make the ceremony.
“We could erect a screen, Your Majesty, in order to shield you from Sir Link’s gaze”
Oh great he fought the urge to roll his eyes three hours spent praying and I don’t even get to see my wife.
Zelda seemed to consider it, giving Link’s hand a slight squeeze. He could tell she was apologizing, for what he wasn’t sure. It could be anything related to the wedding. He’d been getting more frustrated the closer they got to the big day, more and more people seemed determined to know his opinion on what centerpieces would best suit the occasion or what colour the carpets should be or anything else that he deemed utterly pointless.
The wedding was a week away.
It’ll be over soon He told himself every day. It’ll be over soon and you’ll be married to the woman you love. Just a few more days.
He squeezed her hand back, letting her know she had his support. He wasn’t sure but he thought he saw her shoulders droop ever so slightly. He hoped it was relief, but given their current situation he knew it was more likely stress.
I have to do something about this he thought, mentally running through their itinerary for the day. After this meeting they needed to talk to the florist to confirm that it was indeed white roses they wanted, then they had a meeting with the tailor for their final fittings, and after that they were wanted at the kitchen to confirm the dinner selection for the esteemed guests.
He debated whether or not they both needed to be present to confirm the dinner selection. He would be happy to relay their decision, giving his wife to be the chance to rest.
The rest of the meeting dragged on, Link struggled to focus on anything except the feel of Zelda’s silk covered hand against his. He lightly traced the top of her knuckles with his thumb, delighting in the way her cheeks seemed to pinken slightly. Hopefully she’s as distracted as I am.
After the stuffy noble left, taking his china selection with him, the couple made their way to the greenhouse where a selection of flowers was blooming. Link always enjoyed visiting the greenhouse, the perfume of all the flowers was heavy and suffocating, it made it difficult to think at times. But he enjoyed it nonetheless. The bright colours seemed to glow, the soft petals shining, a rainbow cast against Zelda’s skin. He watched as she breathed deep, inhaling the floral scent, trying in vain to relax.
She traded civil words with the florist, who scuttled off deeper into the bouquet they were standing in, before letting her exhaustion show on her face. Link slid an arm around her waist, pulling her close to him, letting her rest against him. Zelda wrapped her arms around him. Resting her head against his neck.
“Are you sure about white roses?” she asked, playing with the elaborate embroidery that decorated his doublet. She felt Link chuckle beneath her, his hand coming up to softly stroke her hair, carefully avoiding messing up the complicated braids.
“I’m sure about white roses if you are” was his answer. That was always his answer. I’m sure if you are oh please Zelda thought It’s your wedding too Link! She forced down the annoyed feeling in the back of her neck, concentrating on how right it felt to be in his arms. She’d almost gotten herself to relax when his soft timber cut through the silence.
“What were the options for the dinner again?”
“Cucco or Beef”
“… not Reekfish?”
Zelda pulled back to look at him, her confused expression matching his own.
“Why would we serve Reekfish?” She asked, struggling to keep the incredulous tone from her voice.
“Because Reekfish is your favourite”
“Well that’s hardly fair. Goat is your favourite and that’s not one of the options”
“You said you wanted Reekfish” Link countered. His own tone growing hard to match hers. She watched as he turned his face from her, focusing on the flowers beside them. It was clear something was annoying him.
“Just because I said I wanted Reekfish, does not mean they’re going to serve it. Besides the majority of the nobility dislike the smell never mind the taste”
She felt, rather than saw, his quick change in emotions. His arms tightened around her, his breath became deeper. She knew he was trying to calm himself, but for what reason she wasn’t sure.
“It’s not their wedding. You should get to eat what you want” He muttered, pressing her tightly against him.
Immediately Zelda felt all frustration leave her body. A Realization came over her as she squeezed him back, tracing light circles over his spine with her fingertips. All these months spent planning she thought, All these months getting frustrated, all these months wishing Link would make a decision about what he wanted, He’s a fool. My Hero is a selfless fool.
Zelda moved to rest her head against his shoulder, the action causing them to sway slightly. Smiling to herself she pressed a light kiss against his covered collar.
“It’s your wedding too, you should get to eat what you want. You’re picking the deserts”
She felt his deep chuckle reverberate through his chest, delighting in the way he turned his head to hide his smirk in her hair. His response was muffled by her braids but she swore she thought she heard him murmur “I want you for desert”
Before his comment could register properly, the florist returned confirming that they did indeed have enough white roses. The two jumped apart, uncomfortable with being caught in such a “scandalous” position. The Florist gave the couple a funny look as Zelda fought to hide her blush. She quickly and politely thanked the florist before almost running from the room. Link’s warm chuckle still ringing in her ears.
Just a few more days, she told herself. Just a few more days and you’ll be married to that man.
The fitting was a nightmare. Link had had the brilliant idea of going to speak to Chef about the food selection whilst Zelda was being poked and prodded with all kinds of needles and pins.
“I’m not meant to see until the wedding ceremony anyway”
While she praised his quick thinking, confirming the meal plan now would free up part of their afternoon later, she cursed him as well. He’d abandoned her to deal with the stab happy seamstress alone! Zelda bit back a yelp of pain and another pin pricked her skin The dress will be pink with the amount of blood she’s attempting to draw from me!
Thankfully the seamstress wasn’t an overly talkative woman, Zelda had suffered through enough pointless blather to last her a life time. However the silence that hung in the room gave the young Queen the chance to ruminate on her earlier realization.
Link was deliberately putting in as little input as possible. Not out of lack of excitement or a hesitation to marry her, he was trying to ensure that everything in the wedding was what Zelda wanted. She was touched by his actions, that he had given up so much in order to give her her dream ceremony. But a small wave of guilt washed over her.
Her mind drifted back to that peaceful night months ago, when he’d held her in his arms and told her about the weddings in Ordon. She remembered the way his eyes lit up, the way his voice softened as he described the paper lanterns they would use to decorate the river. He’d held her tighter as she pictured the small social gathering, a family who cared for each other, breaking bread and singing songs.
She hadn’t been lying when she said it sounded heavenly.
“Ouch!” a small jab to the back of the neck broke her out of her concentration “Melinda I do wish you would be a little more careful with those pins please” Zelda tried to keep the tired edge out of her voice, annoyed at being ripped from her daydream about Link’s treehouse and a small gathering of friends.
Forgive me your majesty, but the fabric it a little difficult to pin. It’s so thick your majesty” Melinda, the seamstress apologised.
That’s another thing Zelda thought, who’s idea was it to create a gown that was so heavy?!
The ceremonial wedding gown was to be worn in the drafty sanctuary. Zelda had requested that it be made of a warm material so that she wouldn’t freeze as she was saying her vows, however her request seemed to get confused and she found herself in the heaviest gown she’d ever worn! The bodice was encrusted with sapphires and diamonds from the mines near Zora’s domain. They had been a gift from the young king to celebrate her wedding. And while they looked stunning, reflecting the light and casting rainbows across the room, they made the bodice quite stiff and clunky. The skirts werent that much better either. The thick layers of petticoats hung from her hips, putting a strain on her back, and the itchy netting scratched her legs making it uncomfortable to walk two steps.
Looking at herself in the mirror, Zelda couldn’t deny she looked beautiful. But she also looked uncomfortable.
The Prayer dress wasn’t any better. It seemed the dressmakers had all but ignored her request for warmth, fitting her for a lightweight dress made of a thin soft cotton. The clunky gold ornamentation did little to help her discomfort, the gold metal chilling her skin through the fabric. Three hours of worship in this and I am likely to succumb to hypothermia she reasoned.
The only dress that was somewhat suitable was the reception dress. It was based off of a dress she already owned, the fit and style made her feel comfortable. However the heavy gold trim at the hem made tripping a much more likely threat, not to mention the abundance of petticoats she was being forced to wear.
Zelda tried to slip back into her daydream, the image of Link smiling and happy in the starlight caused her heart to skip a beat. She longed to make it a reality.
Suddenly, Zelda straightened, looking at the ridiculous dress in the mirror. She had a plan, but it could not be carried out in such a cumbersome gown.
“Melinda. I have a request of you”
“Whatever you want Your Majesty”
The night before the big day.
Link’s favourite and least favourite day. Favourite because in just a few short hours, he would be married to the love of his life. Least favourite because he had to spend the entire day and the entire night separated from her.
As was tradition, the couple were kept apart until the actual ceremony. The time before that was to be filled with laughing and drinking, making merry and celebrating the end of an era. And while Link wasn’t one to drink (especially when he had an early start in the morning) he was more than happy to indulge his friends in their desires.
The evening began to drag on, the smell of stale beer, and the rowdy cheers of the drunken soldiers began to grate on the Hero’s last nerve. The knights of Hyrule had all gathered in one of the larger taverns in Castle Town, determined to get as drunk as they possibly could. It wasn’t a tavern Link frequented often, and the unfamiliar territory put him on edge. He’d promised to catch up with his family from Ordon, however the knights had gotten too him first. They’d practically kidnapped him, bundling him into the back of a carriage and riding through town at top speed.
Link cursed himself for not being more aware of his surroundings, and lamented the fact that he probably wouldn’t see his fellow Ordonians until after the reception. As much as he loved his life in Castle Town with Zelda, he still missed his family down south. Ordon was where he grew up and where he had awoken as the Hero.
Growing tired of the nights and their antics, Link searched for an opportunity to sneak out. He’d spend the rest of his night curled up in bed, waiting for the sun to rise. Waiting for the knights attention to be diverted elsewhere he snuck out the back entrance and into the cold night air.
He’d made it about halfway back to the castle before he was stopped.
A soft voice called out his name. His heart froze in his chest. He wished he was properly armed, the Knights hadn’t given him much time to think before they’d dragged him off, the only means of defense he had was the small silver knife hidden in his boot.
“Link”
Turning sharply, Link found himself face to face with the source of the sound
Before him stood a hooded figure, cloaked in darkness. It was impossible to discern anything about them. Link tensed as they stepped closer, the light from the moon casting dim shadows against their black cloak. Link made to reach for his knife, when something caught his attention.
He knew that cloak. He’d seen it before, years ago when he journey began.
“Zelda?”
Even hidden in the near complete darkness her smile still shone brighter than the stars.
All the fear and worry vanished in that instant as he stepped forward, an invisible rope pulling him towards her. His hands reached out, wrapping around her waist and pulling her into a bone crushing hug. He could hear her musical laugh in his ears and he lifted her of her feet and twirled. Her own arms came up to wrap around his shoulders, steadying herself as he placed her back on the ground in front of him.
“What are you doing here?” He asked, breathless from his short burst of energy. He refused to let go of the hug, the irrational fear of her disappearing clouding his mind.
“I came to see you” She whispered pulling him closer “I missed you”
“It’s only been a few hours”
“Are you saying you didn’t miss me?” He knew it was a joke, knew that she was teasing him. But in that moment he realized he really had missed her.
I’m weak, he thought, We haven’t even been separated for a day and I’m acting like she was gone for months!
“I missed you more than you could imagine”
The contented giggle that escaped her throat made his heart soar.
Zelda moved to pull away, but Link held on tight stopping her from moving.
“Don’t” he whispered “Don’t move. I’m not meant to see you remember?”
He heard her frustrated sigh as she moved her hands to brace against his arms.
“Let me go I need to talk to you”
“No”
“Link please”
“It’s tradition”
“To the gods with the tradition! Let me see you Link!”
Link’s jaw dropped at the curse. It was incredibly rare to hear the Queen blaspheme in such a manner! Using his surprise she pulled back to look at him, pushing her hood away from her face. He was struck by the way her hair looked darker in the moonlight, the soft almost blue glow making her porcelain skin shine. Her smile was the most hypnotising of all. It took Link a second to realize she was giggling at him.
He tried to be irritated, annoyed that she’d gotten the better of him, upset that he’d broken a tradition. But when he looked at her he found himself unable to do anything but smile back at her. Pulling her back to him he pressed a kiss against her forehead, his eyes falling shut.
“Link” Zelda breathed, her smile evident in her voice, “Marry me”
Wait what?
Link pulled back, a confused expression crossing his features. He lifted a hand to cup her cheek, tucking her hair behind pointed ear.
“Zelda… I am marrying you. Tomorrow”
She rolled her eyes, her hands absentmindedly running up and down his arms.
“No Link, I meant marry me now”
“Zelda-”
“Don’t. Link I know you’ve been stressed with the planning and the preparation-”
“I don’t mind”
“Link listen!”
Zelda let out a shaky sigh. She closed her eyes, a habit she had when she was trying to choose her words. Link knew better than to disturb her, waiting for her plan what she was going to say. His heart raced, fingers lightly tracing the top of her cheek bone. Stunning blue eyes opened to meet his, starlight shining brightly.
She licked her lips, preparing to speak. He felt her hands tighten slightly around his arms.
“Link, I know that you don’t want the wedding to be like this, Let me finish. I know that if you had a choice we would be getting married in a small and simple ceremony in Ordon. That it would just be us and the people we love”
Quilt settled in his stomach. Was I really that obvious? He thought casting his eyes downward, suddenly ashamed to look at her She must hate me now. Soft fingers tilted his chin upward, blue eyes searching his.
“I’ve been blind to what you want Link. I was caught up in the dazzling lights and the excitement. I wanted to call you my husband. But nothing about the ceremony is what you wanted”
“I just want to be with you Zelda”
“And that is why I want you to marry me tonight”
Her smile was dazzling. Pure joy shone on her features.
“I want you to marry me tonight Link, a simple wedding. Just us. Just as you want. Just as I want. Then tomorrow we can have the big wedding. Let the nobles celebrate in their own way tomorrow. But for tonight, let it just be us. I’ve got everything planned already you don’t have to worry. Just meet me at Telma’s by midnight”
There’s a reason why she holds the triforce of wisdom he thought, pride welling up in his heart as he pulled her close to kiss her cheek, arms wrapping around her in a hug.
“I can’t wait”
Zelda hadn’t been lying when she’d said she’d planned everything.
Stepping into Telma’s bar, Link took in the sight. White paper lanterns hung from the ceiling, their soft glow illuminating the room. The tables and chairs had been pushed to the side, giving the patrons room to dance. A small altar had been set up in front of the fireplace, red tulips decorating the mantle. Link held back a gasp when he saw his family standing waiting. All the resistance, the Ordonians, waiting for the bride and groom to walk through the door.
Rusl stepped forward, arms wrapping around Link in a warm hug. He felt tears well in his eyes and willed himself to stay strong. Link was passed around the guests, each one more happy to see him than the next. They showered him in hugs and congratulations and in the first time for a long time they felt truly sincere.
Soft footsteps were heard behind him. All attention was drawn to the stairs as Illia and Ashei stepped down, scattering tulip petals on the ground before them. Matching smiles worn on their faces. Behind them Zelda emerged and Link felt his heart stop in his chest.
She wore a simple white gown, devoid of heavy sapphires, absent of cumbersome gold ornamentations and trim, decorated only with small fabric flowers. Her face was hidden by a simple lace veil, but Link could still see her beautiful overjoyed smile peeking through the netting. In her hands she held a simple bouquet of tulips and daisies.
He couldn’t help but smile as she walked down the makeshift aisle towards him. She handed her bouquet to Illia, taking Link’s hands gently in her own. He ran a thumb over her knuckles, resisting the urge to press a light kiss against her hand.
He barely listened as Bo recited the vows, his attention fixed on his bride in front of him. Her musical voice setting his heart a light.
“I do” she said, joy and love clear in her gaze.
“I do” he replied squeezing her hands in his.
“Then, with the power vested in me by the town of Ordon, and her Majesty Queen Zelda the XIV of Hyrule, I know pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride”
Those are the words I’ve been waiting for Link thought as he lifted the veil from his new wife’s face, taking in the white ribbons she’d braided in her hair, and the small white flowers contrasting against her blushing cheeks.
“I love you, my darling wife” He murmured pressing his forehead against hers, hands coming up to gently cup her cheeks.
“And I love you, my dearest husband” She replied moving forward and catching his lips in a passionate kiss.
The happy couple were deaf to the cheers from their family, deaf to the call for dancing and drinking. Content to be in each other’s arms.

So high school Where cliché af stuff happen Exactly what's happening here So you see there is this girl Hajin ofc She's a little nerd Well not really she's just this quiet girl who blends to the background And is like 24/7 spacing out Also there is soap No don't shoot really there is binu Like Eunwoo and Moonbin Get it get it binu is soap in Korean *wiggles eyebrows* ba dum tss So they are best friends and tbh no one knows how and why and since when Bc Eunwoo is this little cute muffin Okay he's not that little but you get me Anyway he's an angel Aka all girls' dream manga guy Manjjitnam much Meanwhile moonbin is this dude with the icy cold aura And looks like he's about to kick some ass like 24/7 So you better make way you see That doesn't cancel the fact that he's hot af tho But well everyone is scared of him to prolly notice And no one knows how come his best friend is Eun Our little girl over here has a tiny crush on Eunwoo Bc who doesn't what the fuCK but really all the girls are all over him so she just sits down and admires him from afar bc no chance Valentine's Day Hajin thinks it won't hurt to address her crush Like everyone does that on Valentine's wtf And it doesn't rlly matter bc like half of the school would do the same too so On that day she brings her box and goes to school Nervous af wtf chill jin you ain't proposing it's just a fucking gift box she's walking inside the school building and like she's about to take a turn when she hears this girl confessing She peaks and holy Gruyere She's confessing to freaking moonbin Give this girl a medal or idk just wow She gave him a box with chocolate apparently Like that's what ppl gift in this day rite Idk bc I never did haaaaa lonely author someone love me pls Hajin's heart is prolly pounding quicker than the girl's Moonbin finally opens the box uninterestedly and laughs ironically He looks annoyed Not like he isn't 24/7 like that BUT OH WELL COUGH He suddenly throws it away and Hajin covers her mouth bc she almost yelped And if he hears her that would suck "chocolate is the thing I hate the most" he growls at the girl with his typical creepy voice I mean it's not like especially high or low it's just normal but it sounds frightening coming out of his mouth His sexy mouth Okay drag this author out of here pls Anyways "and you said you liked me, heh, pathetic you" he says and leaves the poor girl heartbroken af Hajin feels like she just saw a horror movie in front of her own eyes She still wonders if the girl is actually still alive and sane Anyways she tries to chill and forget about what happened Also thanks god bc she's confessing to an angel So it's like lunch time or idk and she searches for him While trying to blend into the background She can't find him anywhere wtf So she asks this girl The girl looks all pissed and looks down at the box in Hajin's hands but tells her he's in the rooftop anyway She prolly just got rejected But well Hajin goes to the rooftop Nervous as shit He's there Holy fuck he is Just laying there with a blazer over his head Bc sun you see and he was prolly napping She approaches him and is about to take his blazer off Bc rude When he suddenly grabs her hand Like So tight That she feels her veins bursting And she's fucking sure it's not Eun anymore He takes off the jacket off him and holy shit Holy fucking shit It's Moon to the Bin BA DA DA DA DUMMMM She just interrupted his nap And she's dead meat "Who are you" he says in a sleepy voice But it still sounds scary af She stutters and doesn't know what to say Bc fuck those will prolly be her last words "what are you doing here" he sits up and says Still clenching her wrist stronger and stronger and she flinches bc ouch He finally lets go And she apologizes and fucking runs for her life Then prolly hide in the bathroom forever But then slaps herself Bc Oh shit did she just forget her box with Moonbin Meanwhile Moonbin back in the rooftop scowling at whoever just ruined his nap He glances and notices the opened pink box on the floor It had no not chocolate but bento And god did he love that shit He just loved food in general Esp rice Anyways He also finds this very awkward short letter And Hajin being a genius didn't write anything that shows it was for Eunwoo So Bin thinks she actually was going to confess to him But she ran away bc too shy .... Oooorrr bc he freaked her out But he remembered her flustered face And thought she was cute Not mentioning that she actually knew his fave food So he thought she really likes him bc of that Either ways he needed to find her and talk to her so he picks up the box and leaves the rooftop Hajin goes to her classroom bc it's almost class time Bc if it wasn't she'd be more than glad to stay in the bathroom really And Moonbin be searching everywhere for her including classes until he finds hers And she's there sitting in her place like a terrified ball then notices her noisy classmates went quiet She looks up and fuck bc is he actually standing at the door of her classroom skimming through the faces of the people inside And fuck again bc is the box actually in his hands He finally finds her and marches towards her And she's all fuck fuck fuck fuCK I'm deAD "Come out for a sec" he says as he reaches her table with his usual expressionless face and gets out And the whole class is whispering Like the whole hall too She has no other choice than to go with him Bc if she won't she may die I mean she'd die if she follows him too but You get me Anyways she follows him Keeping a safety distance ofc Just in case he turns around and CHICHATAH her face He takes her to this less used staircase of the building And now she's sure he's stabbing her twenty five times and leaving her to rot there He stops and turns around and she stumbles before stopping bc she was in deep thoughts of her last words He opens his mouth and she gulps Here goes nothing "about what happened earlier.." he starts "I-I'm so sorry about that I shouldn't have bothered you!!" she blurts bc really dying at the age of 18 sucks you know "well I can let that pass" he answers and she feels like the heavens blessed her soul "but the thing is," he rubs his neck and she's like tf is wrong with him tf is happening this isn't how it works this isn't how any of this works "I don't really mind going out with you" he says "huh?" she says, flabbergasted "but that doesn't mean you can wake me up from my naps now" Moonbin adds quickly after He's secretly embarrassed af Like he never dated before and never had a similar scenario But this author is cruel so yehet "see you later" is all what he says before leaving Bc awkward af he doesn't know what to say And he suddenly finds her cute now like fuck Why didn't he ever notice that before Meanwhile Hajin still can't process what happened She basically confessed to the wrong person by accident and that person happened to be the School's most feared dude who is also magically Eunwoo's friend Awesome scenario I wonder which amazing author wrote that Tomorrow comes Bc idk what to write more on this day orz bear with me She be peacefully walking through the gates of school When a wild Bin appears walking backwards in front of her "it's not an attitude to ignore your boyfriend" he says and her heart jumps at the word boyfriend Bc she never had one And now she does And it's Moonbin Anyways So from that day on he waits for her by the gates By her classroom at lunch time And they have lunch at the rooftop And like she starts bringing bento And Moonbin is more than freaking happy But they still awkward af Like she's still scared of him a bit Even tho she's his gf now *author slightly chuckling at the pathetic girl* Esp after this one time they 'went out' Lol in fact it was Eunwoo's idea Bc Bin be begging him to give him advice bc he doesn't know shit And Eun be like take her out for a walk or something and take the opportunity to hold her hand Bc it's still cold these days And it'd be cute to warm her hands Aw High five Eun for having a good sense Anyways they be walking and he casually holds her hand like "you cold?" And Hajin doesn't know why the hell is she blushing Maybe bc she never thought he could be sweet or anything like that it's all still awkward until some dude kinda hits on her Like cat call for idk And bin gets upset and kiNDA beat the crap out of him And that's when things get real awkward Like he tries to hold her hand again to resume walking and she flinches Then prolly tells him she got a call from home and that she should be going But no she didn't she just wanted to escape Kim hAjin yoU liAR From that day she becomes more quiet around him Not like she isn't usually quiet but she used to at least reply to him when he talks And one day they be in the rooftop and he confronts her Like he'd be eating then pauses "Hajin-ah" he calls and she gulps but replies anyways With a usual "hmm?" "are you... Scared of me?" he reluctantly asks and she stays quiet And bruh it's so obvious she is And like he feels horrible or idk Then he grabs her shoulders and looks straight into her eyes And she feels like fainting "don't be afraid of me... Please" he says softly and she's so taken aback bc wow he can actually be soft Like she can see in his eyes that he's sincere And that after all he isn't a bad person And really she should just open up her heart to him and stop being a fucking ass Like true he's got a short temper But not like he's gonna kill his gf He's actually nice And she'd really fall for the real him So here goes the cheesy stuff The two start being more open comfortable with each other And wow Bin is sO CUTE HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE Like he sometimes does aegyo to her When they are alone ofc Or like shower her with compliments bc the food she made is yummy And boy does he love food Or when he lets her play with his hair while he naps on her lap hOW CUTE Like he's basically a gigantic fluff ball And ofc he takes her to meet the boys Like she only knew Eunwoo and was like wow where did y'all come from They are all nice and kind wtf Like myungjun is the hyper dude he always tries to lighten up the mood but no one actually laughs at his jokes except for her Jin and Eun are the kind wise older brothers Minhyuk and Sanha ofc are the troublemakers Insert Bin getting jealous when she calls Minhyuk and Sanha cute And him exploding in aegyo and not shutting up till she says he's the cutest and he gives her his cat smile Too much cuteness I'm choking What a happy cringe worthy couple Let's end this here bc idk what else to write lol
