ok listen horses are fucking insane theyre smart, like dog smart, but they are so soft and lovely yes this is my horse girl moment fight me. HOWEVER they are also MENACES. My aunt's friend was putting away a horse in a barn and when she turned to close the barn door the horse ran up to her and BIT her BACK. Have you ever SEEN horse teeth??? Theyre MASSIVE!!!! And the horse BIT HER omg i cant. Horses just decide to bite every once in a while and it is TERRIFYING how much damage they can do like wtf wtf wtf wtf???? Horses can tell if youre sure of yourself and riding a horse actually helped with my anxiety a few years ago since i was nervous but you cant let the horse know that so you have to both ACT and LOOK not anxious because the horse can literally tell by the tone of you voice, posture, etc, etc, if you dont know what youre doing and will TAKE OVER for you and will REFUSE to listen to your commands. It's like some wild fake it till you make it shit like wtf wtf wtf??? Anyway horses are great and scary and theyre like extreme weather theyre so pretty but if you dont respect them youll get your ass handed to you thank you for coming to my TED talk

exhausted health update because I have to rant somewhere lol

So we're ending day 12 of my mysterious right-sided numbness. It's moved from just my torso all the way down my right leg to my toes, so now I'm just hobbling around half numb rip. And now the torso numbness feels like im being vacuum sealed or something, just a horrible tightness and lack that makes it impossible to ignore. Went to the ER the other night and had 2 panic attacks within the span of the several hours I was there, got my bloodwork redone and a cat scan which all came back with a big Nothing on them. They told me I needed an MRI but that I'd have to go through my Primary Care and after I told them my primary wouldnt see me until May they referred me to a new primary not in my network so that's been a dead end rip. So far everyone is pointing at my horrific anxiety as the cause but not one doctor has actually offered me help for the anxiety despite me having the active panic attacks in the office lol. My Primary wont see me for several months despite the severity of my current condition and none of the mental health programs I've reached out to will get back to me so for now I'm just. Existing in this anxiety Ouroboros where my anxiety causes my numbness which causes anxiety which causes numbness. I'm trying stupid home remedies to try and minimize the active anxiety attacks but so far we've just been circling around alternating Holy Basil, Benadryl and literally just drinking Rum and going to sleep, which sure all help my anxiety a little maybe but also make it almost impossible for me to function normally during the day. This is making art difficult so commissions are going slow which is obviously making me more anxious lol. I also am home alone most of the week managing the household, which is made more difficult since right now the numbness in my foot/leg makes it dangerous for me to drive and difficult for me to get around my house to do daily tasks. Idk man I'm just tired as all hell and I seem to vacillate wildly between full anxiety breakdowns and depressive/dissociative episodes. At any rate during the week I'll just be constantly calling and harassing every doctor/therapist I can get a number for trying to find someone who will be able to either address my anxiety directly or can at least get me into an MRI to rule out MS or anything else that ISNT anxiety. I'm going to become the bane of the medical profession for a while. Wish me luck!

So i made another au... Yes im treating the dndads teens as my little dress up dolls for scenarios at this point and i dont have art yet, but! What it is is basiclly a cowboy au cause i thought of gothcleats in a western and it wont leave the brains so...yeah im making a cowboy au. Yes Scary is an outlaw, yes her outfit is cool and goth and has scorpions on it, yes i am using obscene amounts of cowboy boots and those crotchless pants, yes there will be horses (i am a horse girl at heart), does anyone beside me care? Idk and idc, this is self indulgant, this is me treating the teens like my ocs at this point, cause i enjoy scenarios and pretty costumes okay. Its fun.

Ever since the "Forbidden Characters" page on the Sexypedia has been deleted for whatever reason, the whole damn site has become unorganized chaos. I wouldn't even consider "vandalized" parts of the wiki to be the only vandalized areas. Because the entire wiki vandalized itself!!! And it did so by being hypocritical to the "rules" and adding any single popular character imaginable on there who DOESN'T even fit the proper definition of "Tumblr Sexyman"! Here is the best definition of Tumblr Sexyman according to the Urban Dictionary:

Glass Joe barely fits the qualities above, therefore he does not fit the definition of Tumblr Sexyman. Does he have a "dark side"? No. Is he not as attractive as Tumblr makes him out to be? No. He is not like the Onceler, Sans, Bill Cipher, or whatever. He's just an Ensemble Darkhorse with a seemingly twinkish figure!

The reason why people are now misusing the term, "Tumblr Sexyman" is because they see a character and they WANT them to be a sexyman, which is actually an unfortunate thing to begin with. I say it's unfortunate because fans (mostly preteens, teens, and young adults even) get MADE FUN OF for liking characters who are Sexymen. And the term-misusers are making it harder for fans to show their love for the characters without getting bullied! Real sexymen become sexymen thru weird selfcest ships, self-proclaimed Wives and Girlfriends on YT (a.k.a Fangirls), tons of Cascada-esque AMVs, fetish art, Animation Memes, etc.

If Glass Joe received all this treatment above, then yes, he will fit the bill. Another possible reason for the misuse of the Tumblr Sexyman label is so the Sexypedia can seem active and full because almost everything there FEELS like filler to me, with occasional accurate examples that deserve to stay on the wiki (E.g. Bill Cipher, Tony the Clock, Jack Horner, etc.)

Now that we have the Sexypedia site in mind, let's talk about the Aran Ryan page...

People in the Punch-Out fandom probably wanted this to happen despite Aran Ryan NOT really being a sexyman. He's just an Ensemble Darkhorse! Get used to it! Not every character popular within fandom has to BE a Sexyman anyway. And it has me questioning: Why do people want their favourite characters to be Sexymen so badly these days? What is the goal and intention behind this? (Can someone provide an answer in the notes please and thank you)

In Conclusion, Glass Joe shouldn't be a Tumblr Sexyman because he doesn't have a fan reception like the traditional Sexyman, nor does he fit in that many tacky tropes listed in the real definition. Like Aran Ryan, Glass Joe is literally just an Ensemble Darkhorse within the Punch Out fandom. End of story.

I promise I'm gonna write a longer piece about SSO's writing one of these days but before I do that, have this general tldr I just spawned because I was thinking about why I'm so fucking disappointed in Anne's character writing in particular (I have a lot of positive things to say about Anne's writing but I also have a lot of complaints about it)

I want this game to be interesting in execution, not just in concept

This entire game is so fucking well set-up and it's so interesting as a setting, and SSE are really good at introducing interesting conflict in the story but then doing fuck all with it (for many reasons, primarily what reads to me like not wanting to make the "good side", i.e the druids, but even more so the soul riders, "morally questionable") Biggest example being Anne not being allowed to go far enough in her character set-up of being disappointed in her situation (like her only being allowed to be disappointed, not pissed and angry and vengeful, she's just kinda miffed about it), like how when she runs away with the clover SSE has THE free-est fucking conflict ever, and they just do not go far enough with it because we can't have the soul riders disagreeing, and that's so fucking Boring and Frustrating, because so much of it is Right There but they NEVER ALLOW THEMSELVES TO DO ANYTHING WITH IT for so many reasons and it pisses me of

tina had a barbie phase when she was younger and she loved rewatching the barbie movies over and over with all her dolls (she loved the horse movies especially) she always begged her family to watch them with her and everyone but gene got sick of them LOL also linda was worried that tina would develop unhealthy views of her body so she went out and tried to find lots of different diverse barbies for tina. which was not easy but SHE DID IT!!!!!

I hate the stigma around “horse girls” for so many reasons.

For one, it’s another example of shaming young ladies for just liking shit. “Oh I am so sorry that Jenny has interests and dreams because she is a living being, let’s bully the shit out of her until she is a shell of her former self”.

For another, it makes it to where the public genuinely seems to look down upon equestrians, either seeing them as horse girls, rich polo players, or dumb farmers, which is another thing that I hate: classism. I worked as a horseback tour guide for a year or two, and the amount of people who assumed I was dumb and treated me as such was appalling. I’m obviously not all that dumb if I am keeping you alive while you’re riding a 900lb animal of prey that you have never met before.

Third, back to horse girls, as much as I hear “my horse is my therapy” and other equestrians look down on those people, horses really are great for therapy. My horse was bought for the purpose of emotional support, hell I barely consider myself an equestrian because I only ride for mine and his exercise, he is my friend and companion. While I would love to one day work together and give him a job he likes, we’re both pretty young and need to figure out what we’re good at. “Horse girls” are often bullied out of what is usually an innate childhood love for animals, big and small, and I hate that. It cuts them off from yet another possible coping mechanism, much less a whole new world for them to explore. It makes them bitter.

Best part is: I wasn’t a horse girl. I was born a girl, sure, but I didn’t grow up thinking of horses. At 16 I rode my first horse while helping at a volunteer farm, and that day I struck gold. Growing up I wanted to raise livestock, and at 6 for career day I wore my overalls and brought a stuffed goat on a leash. I went to a private school (my family were doctors and nurses but still we barely afforded that) and I was bullied relentlessly that day and decided I needed to find a new career.

12 years later and I’m back to a love of livestock. I’m, legally, a whole new person, but my character lives on. That childhood love of caring for animals was revived on a whim, and then grew to encompass my heart.

I started my journey into livestock in high school, and was STILL BULLIED because I live in a larger city in the south, which just oozes classist ideals. Now I embrace being called a horse boy, but there were months where I was ashamed of how pathetic I was, only holding onto life because of some stupid horse. Buckaroo was and is my saving grace, and the fact that I felt ashamed that I loved him so much is pretty fucked in my opinion.

What I’m saying is this: kids are mean, and need to be taught that bullying others just because they are passionate about something is wrong. The stigma around “horse girls” and equestrians and farmers alike is unbearable and loathsome.

Sorry this was so long, but it’s always on my mind.
