do you think ellie ever used dina as an outlet for her frustrations about joel or abby? obviously there's the cutscene where dina tells ellie she's pregnant and ellie lashes out and calls her a burden and dina just sat there with no retort, which makes me think that maybe that's not the first time ellie had an unexpected burst of anger. of course the only reason ellie even got mad in the first place though was because she didn't want dina to hurt herself or now apparently this new baby. so i am conflicted.

to add onto the thought of ellie using dina as an outlet, do you think they were ever intimate during Seattle? their relationship is still fresh during the Seattle era which is typically the 'honeymoon' stage for most couples and they were just kind of thrusted into this tough situation after realizing their feelings for each other and i feel like that would be tough to balance out, which also makes me think maybe ellie neglected dina of things like sex or kissing.

regardless if ellie really did use dina as an outlet of any kind, she would definitely regret it in a short while simply because that's not who ellie is. after the cutscene you can find dina curled up on the couch under a blanket and im pretty sure ellie sighs at the sight. even at the winter dance when she had her outburst with joel she immediately regretted it and you can see it on her face. because she is not the kind of person who wants or has any desire to be mean to the people she loves.

I remember watching the scene where Ellie called Dina a burden, and I was like, 'Girl, that was harsh!' and then, when I could see the regret in her face and her body language, I could see that she didn't want to be so hard on her, but the emotions took over.

I think the main reason for her first reaction being this bad was the fact that Ellie was aware all along that she was putting Dina at risk by dragging her along on this mission. I think she didn't want Dina to go, but Dina was insisting. Ellie was a bit selfish and low-key wanted her to go even though a huge part of her didn't, so she agreed after all. This alone was already hard on her, putting Dina's life at risk. So when she found out Dina was pregnant on top of that, it just piled up; it was just too much for her to handle, so she snapped.

Maybe a part of her was even a little bit jealous of Jesse. (Remember that scene where Jesse came along and started taking care of Dina? Ellie stood there, feeling stupid for not being able to offer the same to her). I always thought that Dina and Jesse staying close, even after Dina dumped him and started dating Ellie, must have felt a bit strange for Ellie. She used to be in the middle of the love triangle when they were dating, and now she's the one who's dating one of them while the other is the third wheel. Not ideal.

When they are at the winter dance and Jesse talks to Ellie about Dina, Ellie jokes about giving them two weeks before getting back together. Which means that Ellie did not believe for a second that the two of them would actually break up. I think this must have stayed with her when the two of them stayed close even after the breakup. She also must have felt bad towards Jesse at some point. Feeling bad for 'stealing' his girl. He might have said he was okay with it, that he 'didn't care' but I think Ellie still felt bad regardless. I think all of this led to her snapping at Dina about the pregnancy.

I don't think Ellie would willingly use Dina as an outlet, though. As you said, Ellie is not that kind of person. She loves Dina; that's also why she would fight her feelings about wanting and not wanting Dina with her. She cared so much about her to have that 'burden' with her.

To your question about whether they've been intimate during the Seattle time, I'm not sure. But I think they weren't. Unless by 'intimate' you mean snuggling while sleeping. Let's think about it.

Joel died in the winter. We don't know which month, but I am guessing January (maybe even December) because of the amount of snow and the Christmas lights hung in Ellie's room. Ellie and Dina traveled to Seattle in the spring (it was more likely spring based on the sunny/rainy weather). So it must have been a few months—like 2 or 3 or 4 at least after Joel. Plus, Ellie's hair is longer when we see her in Seattle.

Knowing this, I dare to say they might have been intimate during this period of time (before Seattle, I mean). I don't believe that Ellie would get over Joel that quickly to have sex (she didn't get over him until she let Abby go at the end of the game after all), but she must have felt sad, emotional, and lonely at some point in the span of this time and Dina was there for her. People tend to cling to other people during such times, searching for comfort in being intimate. We're not talking about 'fucking' here, of course. What I mean is something more than a cuddle, but less than fucking. Something comforting in between.

Although, in the Seattle era (on her way to find Abby), I find it hard to believe they were intimate. I think they would snuggle in the theater when they slept together, being there for each other. But I don't really think Ellie had sex in mind at the time. Especially after what she did to Nora. She was pretty shaken after that. I think Ellie's sex drive must have been at zero.

The bathroom door opens and out walks doy fresh from his shower, he has his towel wrapped around his waist and his torso was still faintly wet from his shower, you sit at your vanity continuing to get ready whilst you admire your boyfriend through the vanity’s mirror

Doy had invited you to come along with him to have a night out with the boys. You accepted as you didn't really have anything planned for the night, you were probably just going to stay in and maybe watch a movie

Also you wouldn’t want to pass up the opportunity of going out with your boyfriend and drinking (the night away)

You hear footsteps before you sense Doy behind you and feel him lean down, you make eye contact with him through the mirror and see him place a kiss to your shoulder he moves up and begins to pecker kisses on your neck

Oh the angst!!! Yes! Okay how about this let's say their dauther is named something like Rose, Frances or Charlene (Depending if they go full brit or try to blend into Monaco and go for something more French 😅)

So their daughter is super excited and is a reserve driver for let's say Ferrari. And both Christian and Toto are SUPER protective of her. To the point of being like overbearing sometimes (the number of time when the Ferrari boys got threatened by one of them is hilarious. One look towards their daughter and you can be sure they'll flood their phones with warning messages 🤣).

But at the same time their boy (Louis or Edward or even something more current like Leo?) is all angst because damn it he's second in the championship and not once his fathers have come to see him. So he's all depressed and a little jealous of his sister. During the summer break he breaks down and goes on after his sister who's complaining about her not being able to drive. And he vent that he was driving and doing an amazing job only for their fathers to ignore him!

She took it the wrong way and they lash out both at each others.

Cue Toto and Christian being all protective and their boy snap at them and goes over to a friend or even uncle Fred (or Mattias or James? I don't know yet 😅) and he's like you are both stupid your kid is suffering show him some love too.

As for the cute moments maybe the sibs bounding over their love of racing when youngers or even. My fingers pick at the weeds as I listen to the bustle of discussion coming from my left, the men of the group and their snickers heard by the rest of us. The other women are scattered around, tending to children, drying clothes, doing mundane 'normal' things as I catch their curious glances every once in a while.

They thought it silly that I took the time to sift through the different types of plants and flowers that are scattered around our makeshift camp. It's always soothed me in times in my life where I was overwhelmed and stressed to the max and what time is more overwhelming than the apocalypse itself. It sounds stupid and childish but it was and is a saving grace to my busy mind.

The men make fun of me the most, especially Merle, his taunting and teasing driving me to tears sometimes. He's a cruel man, always has been for as long as I've known him, wanting nothing but to get a reaction and a rise out of me. Maybe it was because he's never had a stable relationship, maybe he's insecure and jealous. Who knows.

"The pansy's at it again." Merle laughs, the men around him laughing except one. Daryl reaches over to swat at his brother as he stands up from the ground, his feet carrying him over to me. I can barely bite back the grin that takes over my lips as he sits himself down beside me, a shy, boyish laugh leaving him as he bumps me with his shoulder.

"You 'lright?" He asks, eyes flickering out over the pretty wildflowers in front of me. "You only do this when somethin's buggin' ya." I take a deep breath as I take one more look around, catching multiple pairs of eyes looking at us, eager and confused.

"Just needed a distraction." I shrug simply, my cheeks warming as I bite at the inside of my cheek, looking over at him through my lashes as he smirks, nodding his head knowingly.

"Coulda just said so. I can be very distracting." He flirts, leaning over to press a delicate kiss to my cheek as his arm snakes around my waist. I just scoff, my chest warm and heart happy as he watches me pick and pull at the weeds.

"He's pussy-whipped folks! He's literally gardening- what a fucking chick." I can hear the sarcasm and malice dripping from Merles voice as I coware, catching the tick of Daryl's jaw as it clenches tightly and he turns to face his older brother without hesitation.

"Shut the fuck up, Merle!" He hisses, my head tucking into his shoulder as I allow him to stand up for our relationship, knowing Merle but also knowing he'd never stop. He'd done this as long as Daryl and I have been together which is way before the outbreak even happened. It's been years of torment. "Don' listen to 'im. He's a dumb fuck who doesn't know the first thing about relationships." He mutters, rolling his shoulders with a sigh as I poke him.

"And you do?" My teasing takes him off guard as his lips part in shock. His eyes flicker over my face before a fake pout takes over his lips, a giggle flowing from my lips at the sight.

"Oh we're bullying me now? Jesus, where'd my sunshine go?" My arms snake around his neck as he laughs, rubbing up and down my back as my flowers are quickly abandoned to the back of my mind, a new form of therapy consuming me.

a/n ⤏ im in a permanent state of nozel brainrot so here have another nozel fic (・∀・) also, this was supposed to be a jealous!nozel fic but i got carried away so it ended up as a mix of jealous and insecure and overprotective nozel [laughs nervously]

warnings ⤏ some curses, uh it gets a little emotional towards the end, but its a fluffy ending uwu, also i think it’s too long??? lmao

✧ You are Nozel and Fuegoleon’s childhood friend. You spent most of your growing up years watching the rivalry of those 2 intensify. Your role is basically some sort of referee, making sure one Nozel doesn’t accidentally murder the other.

✧ You were close with the both of them but strangely, you spent more time with Nozel even though he was a grumpy asshole 90% of the time which tripled when his mother died. Who would’ve thought the greatest asshole can even be MORE of an asshole??? You were like his therapist tbh like he did all the ranting and lashing out while you did all the understanding

✧ Even before you started dating he was already possessive as fuck. He forbade you from leaving his side that you have never been assigned to a mission where he isnt going. All your missions have to be headed by him. Your business is his business kind of thing. Which you found unfair since everyone in Silver Eagles has been working their ass off going on back to back missions, risking their lives for the kingdom while you lounge around the base, tailing Nozel everywhere like a lost puppy.

✧ Nebra tried to persuade his brother into letting you go on a mission with her and a couple other members saying that she’ll be there to look out for you and that she’ll keep in touch with Nozel from time to time for updates. Nozel gave a cold hard big fat NO

✧ “What I say in this squad goes. Y/N will not be joining this mission and that’s final.”

✧ Nebra isn’t one to challenge her brother’s authority but this just frustrated her like no other. “What, why?! Why make her a member if you’re not going to let her do shit anyway? She’s strong enou—“

✧ “I do not find you or any other member competent enough to keep Y/N safe. That is all.” Nebra huffed and let herself out of Nozel’s office to find you.

✧ This man obviously has abandonment issues 😭

✧ When you heard of this, something just snapped inside of you. It was the last straw

✧ You burst through Nozel’s office, fuming and ready to grill his ass.

✧ “I don’t usually curse but I think I get a free pass to say this: Fuck you, Nozel! I’m not a kid anymore and I refuse to be treated as such! So yeah, fuck you and stupid ass braid I hope it catches fire!”

✧ Nozel sat still, face expressionless. WHICH INFURIATED YOU EVEN MORE. If he wasn’t going to react, you might as well just use this as an opportunity say what you’ve always wanted to say. No bars held.

✧ “I’ve always followed whatever rules you set for me without complaints. You always give me the dumbest reasons but did I ever question you? No! I’m tired of always having to understand you Nozel. I’m suffocating in this damn squad, I might as well have a squad change to the Black Bulls since they always seem to be having fun rounding up wild boars.”

✧ You went on and on listing every single questionable thing Nozel made you do.

✧ Like that one time Nozel took you off a mission in Raque because he was afraid you’ll drown

✧ Or that time he asked you to stay and help him with his paperworks but he kept snapping at you for not doing things properly so you just ended up watching him do all the work

✧ You just didn’t stop talking, you were like a machine gun with unlimited ammo lol

✧ Your excessive rambling only stopped when Nozel walked towards you and kissed you.

✧ YEAH THIS ASSHOLE KISSED YOU TO SHUT YOU UP

✧ After pulling away he held your cheeks on both of his hands. “I’m sorry, Y/N. I just... I don’t want to lose you.” He said with multiple fake coughs in between because feelings make him want to self-destruct

✧ He made you go thru all of that just to tell you he likes you romantically. Everything about this man is dramatic i swear

✧ Anyway and so after that you were officially a couple ＼(^o^)／

✧ It was a literal rollercoaster ride tbh and there were so much things to work on (since there are times you just don’t see eye to eye) but you couldn’t have asked for a better boyfriend :3

✧ Fast forward to a couple of months. Mereoleona threatened people to train in that whack volcano of hers. All squad captains were there not by choice and other magic knights Mereoleona managed to grab kidnap with her fiery paws. Which includes you because once you are grabbed, you can never go back

✧ You waved your hand a bit to Nozel who was surprised to see you. “Y/N, I thought you were strolling around the capital?” Nozel looked at you like he was fearing for your life.

✧ Overprotective mode: on

✧ The million tiny Nozels in his brain are panicking as we speak

✧ You scratched your head. “Yeah... just my luck I ran into Mereo. Before you nag I did try to run but her paws could stretch up to a mile, she’s crazy!”

✧ Nozel didn’t speak but you knew he was agitated by the whole thing. “I’ll be fine Nozel. You worry about me too much.” you said softly, caressing his hand

✧ He smiled. “Just stay close to me, alright?”

✧ A couple of hours later, everyone had made it to the hot springs. The ladies by reflex built a wall to separate them from the men but Mereoleona had other plans and destroyed the wall RIP

✧ “We’re strong enough to bathe with the men. What are we ashamed for ladies?!?!?!”

✧ She’s insane really 😭

✧ Charlotte almost fainted btw

✧ When Nozel saw the ladies starting to fill into their side of water HE PANICKED

✧ Should he leave with you now or should he just pierce the eyes of every single man who would dare to look at you?

✧ You on the other hand were chilling. You swam to him happily. “Nozel~” He instantly grabbed you to his side and firmly wrapped an arm around your waist.

✧ Yami saw this and laughed maniacally. “I’m still having a hard time processing that Braidface has a girlfriend. He won’t let us meet her too,”

✧ “I’m protecting her from perverts like you foreigner.”

✧ Yami ignored him and continued “Now that we’re here, I’m Yami. Nozel’s best friend.”

✧ “What? You are not my—“

✧ “You’re breaking my fragile little heart over here.” lmao

✧ Nozel just scowled and tightened his hold on you. You giggled. “It’s nice to meet you, Captain Yami. It’s nice to meet everyone actually. I’m Y/N.”

✧ The trip home had been excruciatingly silent. You wanted to talk but you couldn’t gauge what he was feeling. You were a pro at reading Nozel and his unexpressed emotions. But this one, this was new. There was an unreadable expression on his face perhaps an emotion you have never seen on him before

✧ Nozel was still silent when you reached your shared bedroom. When you finished changing, you turned to check on him only to find him sitting by the edge of the bed, back facing you. He was hunched over like he was in deep thought. You crawled over to him and gently snaked your arms around his waist

✧ “Nozel...” you tried reaching out to this new emotion. “What’s eating you up?”

✧ He said nothing but he relaxed a bit with your touch

✧ You tried again

✧ “Hey, you can tell me anything. You don’t have to carry all that burden on your own anymore. You don’t have to hurt in silence anymore.” you said, putting a stray chunk of hair behind his ear.

✧ You slid off the bed and kneeled in front of him. You snuggled your upper body in between his thighs so that your face was at the same level as his

I think George’s name truthing is very evident in this stream, like with every sentence he says Dream’s name, ‘Dream’ has like a different tone than the rest of the sentence, way softer, a fondness to it.
