Pairing: Hiro Hamada x Reader Warnings: Mentions of alcohol. Aged up characters. Notes: Look, I just thought this was cute, okay? Sickeningly sweet, even. Anyway, I'm gonna go watch Youtube now. There's still much more to come for all the characters I write for goddamnit. Hope you enjoy this!

"𝙸 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚜𝚒𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝚠𝚎 𝚠𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝙴𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚎𝚎𝚗."
— — — — — — — — — —
Hiro knew that he was deeply, utterly, and irreversibly in love with you when he was 18.
Maybe even before that, if he was being perfectly honest with himself. Why he never made the first move was obvious. Who'd risk their friendship all for what he dubbed as a 'silly crush'?
No, no, no. He'd rather keep you as a friend. Friends are reliable and safe. Take Gogo and the gang for example. They were there during his darkest times.
But you. You were different. You never once gave up on him. Like when you barreled up the stairs to his attic room during his grieving period for Tadashi's death, forcing him to drink that disgusting nutritious smoothie you'd made. All because you cared for him. Even back when he entered that portal to save Alistair’s daughter, to when he started his first semester in SFIT. You were there through it all.
Maybe that's when it started.
All he knows though, is that he only came to the realisation that he was madly in love with you during his 18th birthday last week.
"Happy birthday Hiro! Finally the big one-eight, huh?" Hiro chuckles with a wince when Fred all but jumps onto his back with a loud cheer.
He offers his friend a drink. "Thanks."
"Oh, if Tadashi were here, he'd be so proud of you," Honey Lemon gushes, handing him his gift. He takes it, grateful to see all his friends for the party Cass decided to throw. With it being last minute and all he hadn’t expected most of them to show. Now all that’s left is for the last guest to arrive.
"Thanks Honey Lemon. The rest are upstairs right now." He informs them, knowing full well that Gogo was probably already pouring a glass of beer in the kitchen and chatting with Cass.
"Hey Honey Lemon," He gently grabs the girl's arm, stopping her from following an over-excited Fred. "Have you seen her...?"
"She just messaged me saying that she's on the way, Hiro." She assures him with an all-knowing smile. He huffs a small sigh of relief, glad that you're still coming even after your small fight with him the day before.
"You should really just confess to her already."
"There's nothing to confess," He laughs nervously, running a hand through his hair.
"Could've fooled me." He turns to see Gogo, Wasabi, and Fred standing at the doorway to the stairs that lead up to the living area. Gogo takes another large sip of beer from her cup, her deadpan remark from earlier causing a flood of warmth to reach Hiro's ears.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Dude," Wasabi shakes his head, "You've been in love with her ever since you were like, what, 14? Don't deny it. We all see the way you look at her."
"I look at her like I look at Fred!" He denies vehemently.
"You look at Fred like he's stupid." Honey Lemon pops a lozenge into her mouth.
"Exactly." Hiro smirks, crossing his arms. A knock on the door makes him turn, his lips curling into a wide smile when he sees you standing outside.
He opens the door, ready to greet you with a hug when he spots the man next to you. His smile immediately fades, confusion replacing his earlier happiness. You turn and say a quick goodbye to him, waving him off before stepping into the cafe and giving Hiro a quick hug.
The scent of your shampoo overwhelms his senses, but he’s still oddly guarded against this new guy that was watching the entire exchange happen. He doesn’t know what overcomes him, wrapping his arms around you with some sort of possessive squeeze, eyes narrowing into a subtle glare. The guy who accompanied you studies him with a raised brow, letting out a huff before leaving.
“Hiro?” He finally releases you from his hold after you tap his arms.
“Hey,” He greets you simply, letting out a breathy chuckle at the sight of your flushed cheeks from the cold night. Your hands are in his, and he hopes that they get warm so you don’t fall sick. Being physically fit and having a strong immune system are not the same thing, and you’re the embodiment of that.
“Happy birthday,” You remove your hands from his, handing him a small packaged gift. He takes it from you, pressing his lips together to keep himself from smiling wider than he already is. He takes a deep breath to calm himself, distracting himself by snatching the beanie off your head.
You narrow your eyes into a playful glare before sighing. “Thanks, here’s my coat and bag too.” You hand him both items, dumping them in his outstretched arms with a smirk.
He watches you walk off to enthusiastically greet everyone. They all welcome you with big hugs and warm smiles, Gogo offering you a sip of her beer. You decline it politely and she shrugs, downing the rest.
He follows everyone upstairs, heading to his bedroom where he sets down your gift on his table with the rest. He arranges the coat to rest on his chair, placing the bag in the seat before he spots something inside. In your hurry to make it on time, you forgot to zip it up properly before handing it to him.
He gently pulls the white strip of paper, suppressing a laugh when he realises what it is. A strip of photos that you two had taken in a photobooth together is in his hands. He still remembers that day when you dragged him out of the house to “touch some grass” as you’d so eloquently put it.
You had dragged him to a mall, where you both watched Frozen 2 together. He had to buy the tickets as usual, but he didn’t really mind if that meant you would enjoy the movie. You bought the snacks, munching away on the popcorn even though it was intended to be shared by the both of you.
He didn’t really mind that either.
So when you both exited the cinema to see a photobooth, you gasped excitedly and grabbed his wrist, tugging him along. He groaned when you placed a reindeer headband on his head but didn’t take it off. After all, how could he deny your request when your eyes sparkled, filled to the brim with happiness? You then raved about how cheap it was, only paying a total of 7 bucks for 2 photo strips.
He took one, and so did you.
His is on a corkboard above his desk, a thumbtack pinning it above all the rest of the group photos taken together. There was another photo where the both of you had hot chocolate moustaches during Christmas, caught off guard by the sudden flash from Fred’s camera.
Huh. Maybe he is in love with you after all.
He puts the strip of photos back in your bag, zipping it up tightly so it wouldn’t fall out before heading back down to the kitchen where he spots you sitting down next to the windowsill. He makes his way over, grabbing two cups. One filled with cola, and one filled with cider.
"So, this is new," Hiro hums, handing you the cup filled with cola. You take it from him gratefully, starting to sip away. “Never saw him around before.”
"Yeah," you laugh, sparing him no detail of how you first got together with Max. He had been your lab partner and over time you just got closer until he asked you out last week. You had hesitantly accepted, unsure why an unknown tugging in your chest makes you feel uncomfortable doing so. But you simply brushed it aside, because why not?
"He seems...nice."
"He is," You reply lightheartedly, a warm smile on your lips  "How about you though?" you nudge his side with a laugh. "When're you gonna find a girlfriend, huh?"
He chuckles. "What makes you think I don't have one?"
"Please," You scoff, eyeing him with a sarcastic look. "You'd be bragging non-stop if you did."
"Yeah, you're right," He admits. "Here, I'll get you a refill." He swipes the now empty cup from your hand, striding off to the kitchen counter. You watch him leave with a soft smile, leaning on your elbow. He greets Gogo and Honey Lemon with a nudge to their sides, the both of them welcoming him into the conversation. He falls into it so easily, talking gaily with a twinkle in his eyes.
You study the way he bends down to listen, and his messy hair falling into his eyes as he laughs. You forget how quickly he'd grown up. His growth spurt had hit him like a truck, and puberty had just made his voice a little deeper though it still had the same mischievous undertones as he did when he was 14.
You forgot exactly how grown up he'd become. Have you always seen him as his 14 year old self?
"You could always just confess."
The sudden voice startles you out of your thoughts, letting out a yelp at Fred's appearance. Hiro looks up, his attention drawn to you after hearing your surprised yelp. You shake your head to signal that you're fine, his wide eyes softening in response before he resumes his conversation with Gogo.
"That was ages ago," you hissed in embarrassment, turning to face the window. Fred plops into the seat opposite you with a raised brow. "It's not like I still had that fat crush on him when I was a teenager."
“You’re right,” Fred agrees, taking a nonchalant sip from his cup before continuing. “It’s only gotten worse.”
"It has not," you deny hotly, feeling the flush work its way up your neck and into your cheeks, burning at the insinuation.
"Mmhm," Fred nods slowly. "Sure it hasn't. Don't think I forgot all about your little rants."
Crap. You wish you could delete the memory of your pining for Hiro from his memory. Sure, it'd been a couple times when Fred had been your listening ear. Or Wasabi. Or Honey Lemon. Or Gogo.
Everyone knows.
The realisation makes you cringe, sliding deeper into your seat and covering your face with your hands. You desperately wish the ground would just swallow you whole.
"With that reaction, I highly doubt it ever faded," Fred chuckles at the dismayed state you're in.
"Is something wrong?" You tense at the familiar voice, peeking through your fingers to see the bemused smile on Hiro's lips as he stands between you both with two red plastic cups in his hand.
"Nope, nothing's wrong amigo. Just a little girl talk," Fred winks, patting your shoulder as he stands up to leave.
Hiro laughs. "Right." He watches Fred walk away before sitting down opposite you. You sit back up straight, hands away from your face and gripping the cup he hands to you a little too forcefully. Hiro's eyes study you, trying to put together the puzzle pieces. You recognise the look in his eyes - it's similar to when he's trying to find the source of a problem in his invention.
"I'm not a robot. Or Baymax," You remind, taking a sip of cold cola. The cool beverage trickles down your throat as you swallow, and you press the cup against your cheeks, hoping to cool them down faster.
"That's a very smart observation."
"Shut up," you retort playfully.
"So, how long have you guys been together?" Hiro asks, the words foreign on his tongue. He never pictured you with anyone else but him before, and seeing Max was a bit of a shock to his pleasant night. It kinda dimmed it a little too.
"Not really together," you say, "We’re kinda still in the talking stage. He asked me out to the movies." You don't really know what prompted you to deny your relationship, even though technically you guys aren’t really together yet since it’d only been your second date so far with him before Hiro’s birthday party.
"Oh?" Hiro's interest is piqued. He leans forward. "Which movie?"
"The Nun," You shudder.
"Seriously?" Hiro dissolves into laughter, shaking his head and wiping the tears from his eyes at your disgruntled state. "But you hate horror movies!"
"Yeah," you sigh, taking another sip. "But he was really apologetic about it and the tickets were already bought, so..."
"Right. You went with him so you wouldn't waste the money." Hiro guesses, and he must've hit the nail on the head from the way your lips purse when he's right about something.
"Maybe."
"Aww, it's okay," he coos playfully, reaching over and ruffling your hair with his hand. You swat it away, trying to fix the hair you'd put so much effort into before coming (though you'll never tell him that). "We'll watch Elemental next weekend so you can cry it out. Again." He offers.
"It's not my fault I cry easily at stuff! Besides, Ember's entire journey struck a chord in my heart, okay?" You defend yourself, crossing your arms.
"Sure. If anything, I'd say you're more of a Wade."
"You mean gentle, kind, and caring? Thanks," You reply swiftly, batting your eyelashes at him with a smirk. "You're kinda a Clod yourself."
"Says you, at least he has confidence." Hiro argues back. "And Wade's a crybaby."
"He is not," You gasp, laying your hand over your heart in mock offence. "he's just very in touch with his emotions."
Hiro's deadpan stare makes the corners of your mouth twitch, trying to suppress the smile that threatens to take over. Judging from the twinkle in his eye, he's doing the same.
"Whatever," You scoff, finally allowing the genuine smile to blossom. God, how you’ve missed this stupid boy.
Hiro watches you with sincere interest, not allowing his gaze to wander away from you even once as a grin plays on his lips. God, how he’s missed this annoying girl.
"They're sickening." Gogo whispers, 3 cans of beer already emptied around her as she sips on her fourth. "They both need to woman up already."
"Don't worry," Wasabi chuckles, watching you both continue to talk intently with huge smiles on your faces. "I have a feeling that they just need a little more time."
— — — — —
The cafe bell chimes, signalling yet another customer’s presence.
Hiro slides his phone back into his pocket. Oh well, guess he'd check his assignments later. Upon looking up however, he's grateful that he didn't opt out of helping Cass with the cafe today.
He clears his throat. "What can I get you today?"
"One iced latte please."
"And would you like that with, or without the server? That's me." He adds hurriedly in a whisper.
"With, you dumbass." You laugh. He's fully enraptured by the sound, eyes watching the amused smile on your lips, and the way your eyes crease when you laugh.
"I'll be right with you then." He sets off to make the latte hurriedly, already planning on using his break time to spend it with you instead.
"So, how's the boyfriend?" He asks politely, sliding into the seat opposite yours with your drink. Something sharp twists itself deeper into his chest, making him shift uncomfortably. He forces a courteous smile, trying to act as if it doesn’t bother him even now.
"Oh, him?" You muse, fingernail tapping against the plastic cup. "We broke up."
"Oh?" Whatever sharp object that was twisting deep into his heart starts to ease away bit by bit, allowing him to breathe just a little easier. He forces down the pleased smile that almost starts to form from your reply, letting sympathy take its place. "What happened?"
"I don't know, I just..." You sigh, eyes trained on the droplets of water that had formed due to condensation on the side of the plastic cup.
It's silent for a while. You distract yourself by stirring the drink so that the milk and espresso blend together, forming a light, milky brown in the cup. You take a small sip, trying to ignore the way his all-knowing stare bores holes into your head as if he’s already read your mind. Knowing him though, he probably didn’t. Probably. You can never tell what invention he might be testing on you.
Hiro merely waits patiently, knowing that all you needed was a little time before you'd cave and tell him everything.
"We just weren't that compatible," You admit.
"Really? I would never have guessed from the way he brought you to watch The Nun for your first date," Hiro says sarcastically, wincing when your glare is now directed at
him. "Sorry." He apologises with his hands raised in surrender.
He places them back down, noticing how your lips part as if you're about to say something, but instead hesitate. "What's wrong?" He asks gently.
"He also said...He knew that he isn't my priority. He said that he knows....someone else is." You say slowly, cheeks awash with a burnt pink as it works its way up your neck and into your cheeks and ears. You can't bring yourself to look at him, the words you just admitted out loud already a confession in itself.
Hold on.
Hold on.
Hiro's mind is reeling at the words you've just uttered. His eyes are focused on your flushed cheeks (it’s not his fault you look so pretty) as his mind is completely blown to tiny, incomprehensible pieces in his head.
"Uh...I...uh...well…"
"This was a mistake," You mumble, taking the cup and standing up, ready to leave. You're slightly amused at the sounds coming out of Hiro's mouth, but maybe now's not the time. Especially after a (somewhat) fresh breakup. "Thanks for the coffee," You start to make your way to the exit, a hand on the glass door before it's covered by another larger one.
"Wait."
You turn, your breath hitching when you're met with a rather broad chest covered in a thin red shirt underneath the denim apron Cass always makes all her staff wear. Your eyes slowly trail up his flushed neck to see Hiro staring down at you with wide eyes, stuttered breaths barely leaving his lips.
He didn't know what to say. God, he has no idea what to say. Why is he saying nothing? Stupid, useless brain.
But even though he couldn't form a comprehensive sentence of simple words strung together, even though for once in his life, he knows what he wants, all he knows is that he can't let you leave the cafe. Not now.
His body moves faster than his brain, jolting out of his seat and racing toward you. His hand reaches out, gently covering yours before you can push past the glass door of the cafe.
"Wait." He can barely comprehend himself speaking, his mind blank once your eyes meet his. His lips part and close, still trying to muster up the courage. To do what, exactly? He doesn't know.
He's an engineer, a programmer, and a superhero. He can do anything! He saved the city of San Fransokyo once or twice already, so why is this so hard?
Why is it so difficult to just ask?
He sees the hope in your eyes diminish, and that's when he knows he's hesitated for too long. You look back down, tucking your hair behind your ear. "I'll see you soon, Hiro." You say quietly, turning back around.
"This Sunday." The words fall past his lips before he realises what he's saying.
"What?" He's got your attention. It's now or never.
"This Sunday," He repeats, a little more confidently this time. "Elementals. And dinner."
"...In the cafe?" A slight gleam of amusement is back in your eyes, a small smile playing on your lips.
"No," He shakes his head with a breathy laugh, "Outside. At a restaurant. You and me."
"Like a date?"
He lifts his head, grinning widely at the genuine smile you finally allow onto your face.
"Like a date."

||Light 'em Up|| Prologue
Summary: She saved Hiro from bullies and then punched Tadashi when she thought he was one too. She calls herself Hiro's caretaker, and became Tadashi's best friend. Now she attends the same Institute as Tadashi as a robotics student. She's Sakura dubbed Cherry Blossom by Fred. She's Hiro's partner in crime, when it comes to annoying his brother and Tadashi's best friend. Pairing: Tadashi Hamada x Sakura Kamiya(OC) Rating || Genres || Warnings: T. Romance. Angst. Hurt/Comfort. Adventure A/N: I've written this for the longest time and figured it was time to start uploading this here! So enjoy!
"So was that everyone on your little Nerd Team?"
Hiro asked cheekily as he stood beside his brother, helmet in hand. They had just stepped out of the Institute, after meeting everyone, and were about to head home. His older brother grinned and nodded, putting his own helmet on.
"Yup!" He started the Moped as he counted his friends on his fingers one by one.
"Gogo. Fred. Honey. Wasabi. And..." His eyes widened with disbelief with a hint of fear, as he paled and breathed out.
"Oh crap!"
Hiro's smile widened all the more when his brother was almost immediately cut off by a loud shout from the top of the stairs.
"Tadashi Hamada!"
Both brothers turned to look at the stairs where a figure was walking towards them, their steps quick and determined. Tadashi seemed to shrink where he sat on his mopped, while his younger brother, with his helmet still on, waved excitedly.
"Hiya Sakura!"
Immediately a bright smile was directed towards him.
"Hello Hiro!"
The younger boy was then swept into a giant bear hug by the girl. She lifted him off his feet, the both of them laughing before she deposited him back on the ground looking at him, her eyes shining.
"Oh its so good to see you! Its been almost three days since I last saw you. I was worried when I got Tadashi's text about the Bot Fight. Why did you even go there anyway? No wait! What were you thinking?! For being a smart kid that was pretty dangerous and stupid Hiro."
As she spoke she started to turn his head around, eyeing him from head to toe.
"You're not hurt are you? If it were up to me I would glue that helmet to your head."
She laughed rapping her knuckles smartly against the object. Worry and concern was written all over the older girl's face as she inspected him for any kind of bruises or even a scratch.
"Seriously are you okay though?"
Her voice was soft, violet eyes laced with concern as she looked at Hiro in the eye.
"I'm okay, Sakura!"
Hiro said pushing her hands away gently, with a grin. He knew how the older girl could get with him. She was always checking up on him and making sure he was eating properly and sleeping well. Whenever he was about to try out one of his new inventions she would make sure to be just around the table, that was put up to protect them if need be, with a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher. He didn't mind though. He loved the attention and Sakura loved to take care of him. Smiling lightly Sakura stood up straight, ruffling his hair, making it messier than ever.
"I know you're okay, Squirt!"
Hiro protested laughingly batting away her hands.
"H-hey Sa-kura."
A small voice called out. The girl turned, her long pony tail swishing around her head with the movement, to look at the older Hamada brother, her face completely devoid of any emotion. Beside her the younger Hamada brother grinned slyly as he stood behind the black haired girl, partly hidden. His eyes relayed a single message to the victim.
"You are so dead, bro!"

I've literally been on the fence about submitting this request for a week now.
Well…
Only if it's possible, I would like a request for Sett Heartsteel with a girlfriend who is like Hiro Hamada… I'll try to explain it… let's say that Reader is an intelligent inventor (her older brother is still alive, I don't want to cry here), and she lives and works in her aunt's cafeteria, goes to university from time to time and she spends sleepless nights improving her older brother's medical robot. Let's say that reader met Sett when she was going to visit her older brother recovering from burns, and Sett was only accompanying her mother to a medical checkup for pain in her shoulder.
bye bye
Tumblr media
I kinda got inspired by the old Inventor trait from tft so reader is friends with Ezreal
Heartsteel Sett x Inventor!reader
Tumblr media
If you kept on working like this, you would end up in the hospital like your brother. You knew that. Especially with the way you were getting restless at night and started messing up during university and your work. But oh well. You made really good progress on the bot! You had to tell your brother about that! After your work you went into the hospital, but you felt hungry...so you visited the cafeteria, looking for something to eat. It wasn't crowded, only you and a lady with purple, almost white hair. You went to the vending machine and decided on what to get. And of course it got stuck. You tried shaking it, but you were too weak, especially since you were skipping meals to work on the robot...then the machine shook again, finally letting your food out. You looked to your left, and saw a tall, muscular guy with pink hair and a cute cat-ear beanie
- Thanks - you smiled, retrieving your meal and sitting down next to the woman, since the other tables were dirty. You didn't expect the guy to also sit down
- Momma, they said you're gonna have to wait half an hour.- he looked annoyed at the queues to the doctor.
- Oh, that's not so bad. Other wait longer - the woman smiled
You didn't want to interrupt their conversation, but the woman asked
- And how long for you?-
- Oh...I'm...here to see my brother...but he had to wait for like an hour. With burns.-
- Oh my...-
-Just an invention malfunctioning, I'm working on it right now -
- Ezreal's friend also had an accident like that -
- Wait you know Ezreal? - you pulled out your phone, showing a photo of you, Ezreal and Seraphine with the little crab bot you three made.
Sett looked at you, eyes lighting up as you finished your food and stood up.
- Well I got to go see my brother...- you left the room, going to your brothers room. You excitedly rambled about how you upgraded his bot. Also mentioned meeting Ezreal's friend
After you left, you went to your room, prepared to spend another night with barely any sleep, when you heard a notification from your phone. It was Ezreal
"Hey, just wanted to let you know my friend wants your number, mind if I give it?😘"
You smiled at your phone
"Not at all, tell him I'm waiting for a call 💦💦💦"
You laughed at yourself for sending those emojis. But that was the charm of texting Ezreal
After the exchange you went to get some work on the bot, making another batch of improvements. You then heard your phone ring. Unknown number. You picked up
- Heeey, I got your number from Ez, care to tell me your name beautiful?- you laughed at how straightforward he was
- Y/N - you said, a smile tugging at the corners of your lips as you set your phone on speaker and went back to work.
After that, you and Sett talked about well, everything. For the whole night. You were surprised when you realised the hour
- Not asleep yet? -
- Nah, too busy talking to you~ - he really had the audacity...but you liked it.

Hiro Hamada x Lectora.
Advertencia: Los personajes son menores de edad.
(N) = Tu nombre o nombre de tu O´c.
........................................................................
— Hiro...
— ¡Me encanta!

Big hero 6 x reader (you flinch) pt 1 of 2!
Tumblr media
Big hero 6 preferences you flinch:
Hiro Hamada:
You and Hiro were having an argument about you overworking yourself. You had Been working on your robot "Pearl" nonstop without  taking breaks because it malfunctioned.
-"I have to fix her Hiro!" You said already upset with your boyfriends persistent nagging at you to take a break he knew how important pearl was to you
-"I know how much this means to you and I swear I will help you fix her if you would just give it a rest!" He said he wasn't budging on getting you to take a break he was frustrated but not necessarily with you. He was upset that you were pushing yourself past your limit. You looked so tired…. he had no doubt that you would fix her with time.
-"I I can't stop now…I feel like I'm so close Hiro please I said I was fine…" you said Turing to go back to what you were doing. When you saw something out of the corner of your eye it was Hiro's hand and you flinched crouching to the floor covering your head….
It was quite for a moment Hiro struggled to get words out it felt like his heart was being painfully squeezed… you thought he was going to hit you but why…?
-"Y/n!" He finally managed to choke out trying to help you up "Are you alright!?" He asked. You had never seen him so worried before…
-"y yeah I I'm fine…" you said not meeting his eyes…your eyes were filled with tears…
-"Baby….why did you flinch like that..? Did…did you think I was going to hurt you..?" He asked, his eyes going misty his voice sounded so broken.
Fred:
You and Fred never really fought about anything because you mostly agreed on everything but some of his weird ideas you had to admit were "Not science" you were going back and found with meanness arguments it wasn't like a serious thing until he said something that hurt.
-"Wow! You are such a Nerd!" He said laughing it wasn't something that should've bothered you as much as it did. You remembered the time you opened up to Fred about the constant bullying you endured in your past. His silly words reminded you of the darkness you were in then.
You and Fred had been on opposite sides of the room when this silly argument played out doing your own things Fred noticed you grew quite afraid he had hurt your feelings he started walking towards you
-"Y/n I-" he started razing his hand to move the hair out of your face but stopped mid sentence when he saw you flinch and cover your face with your arms.
Silence for a moment when he reached out to lightly touch your arm "Babe…?"
You slowly lowered your Arms from your face and looked up at him with tears in your eyes. He never never wanted to see fear in your beautiful eyes…
-"Babe…why did you just flinch..?" He asked ''looking at you with pure concern in his eyes " -"I I'm sorry…" you said with tears in your eyes looking at the floor. -"Sorry for what baby..?" He asked, his voice cracking.
He cleared his throat and took a deep breath. He knew he had to be the one to be calm. After you calmed down a bit you finally managed to speak "T they used to hit me…" you said.
Wasabi:
Wasabi was a bit of a control freak when it came to things being neat and organized especially with his tools and workspace you didn't really pay much mind to that though.
You were working on making an invention to make things see through inspired by Wasabi's invention. You decided to borrow  one of his tools without asking, not listening to his protests and nagging about things being organized.
You kept working, not really listening to him. You were working on it when you saw something was off with it "....Wasabi is it supposed to do that…?" She asked before either of them could react the machine crashed down with smoke almost crushing y/n.
Baymax was Able to get to you just before it crushed you… everyone was freaking out trying to ask if she was ok surrounding her when go-go pushed everyone back " Hey!! Give her some space!" Go-go shouted baymax said something about you being in shock because you hadn't said anything..
Wasabi was so shaken up about what just happened in front of him he was also in shock he hadn't said anything suddenly he reached out to touch you causing you to scream and fall to the ground..
Everything was quiet for a minute because No one really knew what just happened. A moment later Go-go showed Wasabi hard onto the floor "What the hell!? Why did she just flinch!?" Go-go screamed at him "Go-go stop he didn't do anything!" You said standing up quickly.
Tadashi:
Tadashi had been working too much he was exhausted but he refused to take a break a deadline was coming up and he wanted everything to be perfect.. while  you hated it you couldn't bear to see your sweet boyfriend so tired.
"Baby I am so close! I swear I will have this done by tomorrow night I swear" Tadashi said, holding your arms looking into your face after you came up to him and told him how worried you are... Again.
"Babe I know you can do this but I think you need to take a break.." you said already anxious he pinched the bridge of his nose…was he irateted…? "Babe look I know you might not understand how important this deadline is but this is like pretty much all of our grade" he said sounding annoyed "excuse me..?" You said in a low voice feeling hurt
"OH MY GOD DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND ANYTHING!?" He screamed, causing you to jump back "I CAN NOT STOP NOW YOU MIGHT BE SO PERFECT AT EVERYTHING YOU DO BUT WE ALL CAN'T BE SPECIAL LITTLE SNOWFLAKES!!" He kept screaming at you walking towards you as you backed away from him.
When he stopped yelling you had backed into a chair and fell to the floor tears streaming down your face then he realized what he had done "Oww…!" You said though you're tears causing baymax to activate.
Baymax went over to you and helped you up Tadashi went quiet  Baymax tried to help but you said "I I'm ok Baymax really thank you tho…" you started saying "Would you like a lollipop?" Baymax asked extending one out to you "Yeah that would be kinda nice" you said looking at the ground with tears in your eyes "Baymax I am satisfied with my care.." you said and he deactivated….
Silence filled the room and you could tell he was breathing heavily… to turn and started to walk to the door looking down at the floor "Princess ….?" He asked in a voice that was so full of pain you could tell he was crying you stopped dead in your tracs..
Go-go:
She was frustrated. No matter how fast her bike was It" wasn't fast enough" for her; she had been trying so hard. "Exactly how fast do you want it to be Go-go?" You asked in a playful tone trying to lighten the mood "I just want it to be faster! God, nothing's working!" She said angrily.
She threw the bike wheel past you into the pile of wheels causing you to jump Go-go saw the way you jumped and after a moment of watching you she saw you were shaking she sighed Healy and walked over to you and reached out her hand to your face causing you to flinch and cover your face with your arms .
She was going to move a strand of hair out of your face.. she was completely horrified her arm dropped down to her side tears quickly streamed down her face "Baby!" She said her voice cracking  quickly walking over to you and she pulled you into her arms protectively "I'm sorry I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you y/n..!" She said shakily.
Honey-lemon:
You watched as she played around with the chemicals you had gotten used to seeing things blow up. She found it fascinating. You were sitting on a table watching her, you chuckled at the fact her eyes lit up like a little kid in a candy store. She was checking to make sure everything was running smoothly. You got off the table and went to stand beside her.
You noticed something was steaming that you knew shouldn't be steaming. The rest was a blur but you remembered tackling her out of the way just as a huge explosion boomed…
You guys slowly got off the floor, everyone rushing over to see if you both were alright "Oh my goodness! Are you okay!?" She asked in a panic, reaching to you the shock of what just happened caused you to flinch. She simply hugged you.

Big Hero 6
Tumblr media
This time I come with a Big Hero 6 fanfic because I'm in the mood for this guys. Also I'm trying with (Y/N) because I couldn't find a good name for this one and you could imagine her/him whatever you want. I just love this movie and I hope you enjoy this!
Starting a new life it's always hard. You only had twelve years when your dad came to home with the news: "They give me the job!" You celebrated with your parents, both happy and excited, and you were happy because they were happy -you didn't had any idea what those words implied.
The first few weeks were very hard, unpacking and accommodating but luckily your parents made the job easier for you; music and laughs sounded throughout the house. Then, the day you were finishing painting the living room, the only place in the house that hadn't yet suffered your artistic attack with the brush, someone knocked on the door. You peeked down the hall without caring that there was paint all over your clothes, face and hair to see how your two parents opened the door to a stranger. That woman introduced herself as Cass Hamada and had brought her nephews to introduce herself to the new neighbors. It was weird. Where you lived, the neighbors ignored each other or yelled at each other because they annoyed each other.
One of this woman's nephews was your age, with messy black hair and a gesture of discomfort as if he preferred to be somewhere else. The other, the one who caught your young and easily impressionable heart, was tall, probably older than seventeen, wearing a baseball cap and preventing his little brother from running away from the situation. Still, no one was surprised that your parents were two men. One of them, the one who had gotten the job as journalist and for whom you had moved to that city turned to the hallway looking for you.
-We have a (girl/boy) your age, Hiro -said the one who hadn't turned.
-Wow, Hiro! An opportunity to make friends! -Mrs. Hamada was excited.
-It has to be around here... (Y/N)!-yelled the one turned.
You hid yourself and took a look in the mirror; it was when you realized how you looked. Your head was a chaos of negative thoughts and your hands tried to fix your hair. Your father shouted your name again and you took a deep breath, your two parents didn't mind going out with a paint mess, you shouldn't care either. Gathering all the confidence you were capable of, you went out into the hall and let them see you. Hiro looked annoyed, Tadashi just smiled and Mrs. Hamada looked like she was about to jump out of excitement.
-Aren't you the most adorable thing in town? -smiled Mrs. Hamada- Hiro, say something.
-I don't wanna to say anything -said Hiro crossing his arms.
-Then I'll say it -said Tadashi, bending down to be at your height- Hi, I'm Tadashi. This is my aunt Cass and he is the stupid, grumpy and immature of my brother -Tadashi was still smiling, although Hiro was complaining behind him, and extended his hand towards you- How are you?
In that moment you decided that Tadashi was the perfect boy.
From that day on, you became inseparable from the Hamada. They lived across the street and you always had fun being at their home. When you couldn't get out of your house because you were sick or punished, Tadashi made funny gestures out of his bedroom window -which looked at yours- while Hiro just looked at you wrongly or stuck his tongue out at you.
Trying to be friends with Tadashi was very easy, he was a person with whom you could talk about all subjects and who never laughed at your concerns. When you turned thirteen, a classmate invited you to the movies -your first date- and your response was to run to the Lucky Cat Cafe and tell Tadashi while you were dying of shame because Hiro was laughing at you.
Trying to be friends with Hiro was something else. Hiro was only interested in robotics and robo-combat and building robots. It was boring. The worst thing of all is that Tadashi started university and almost all his free time was spent at the university or working on his project so you had to spend time with Hiro. Now the routine was go to the Lucky Cat Cafe when finish class, grab some candy and interrupt Hiro in anything he was working on until Tadashi came home and played with you or your dads came to pick you up, whichever was earlier. Sometimes you stayed in his room or in the garage with Hiro while he worked and you did homework, both in silence until you had a doubt and Hiro tried that you find the answer by you alone because you wouldn't learn anything if he simply gave it to you.
The days went by while Hiro graduated from high school and rubbed it in your face, Tadashi continued to be an older brother to you, Aunt Cass prepared her delicious sweets, one of your dad entered as a professor at the University of San Fransokyo and the other entered as a journalist in one of the most important newspapers in the city. Things were going well.
The holidays passed quickly, Tadashi spent a lot of time in his laboratory, Hiro ignored you while working on his new robot and your young person of fourteen fantasized about Tadashi who was now your great crush.
-You know you will never be together, right? -said Hiro without looking at you.
-Excuse me? -you stopped sketching Tadashi's face on you notebook. You recently discovered that painting was one of your qualities and that you really enjoyed drawing everything you saw.
-Nothing, don't worry -he said with that tone that he always uses to make others believe that he doesn't care but you knew very well that he was dying to say something else.
-What do you know about this things?
-He is four years older than you, it is silly that you continue with that.
-It is none of your business if I have a crush for your brother.
-You are wrong about that. My favorite activity is seeing how you look at Tadashi, really expecting him to notice you like that. Do you know that that would be pedophilia? But what do I know about these things?
Finally, Hiro turned his chair to look at you with his sly smile plastered on his face until he saw your pained-angry expression and realized that you were about to cry. You ran out of there without saying a word, Hiro screaming your name running after you, you almost collided with Aunt Cass before leaving and crossing the street to go up to your house. You didn't open your bedroom door even to Tadashi when he came to see what had happened between you and Hiro. After three days without showing up at the Hamada's house, Hiro tried his luck with a drone that carried a message for you. At first, you were surprised to see that weird robot but when you looked behind it -towards Hiro's window- you saw the boy with the drone controls and with a nervous smile on his face. You shot him an angry look and closed the curtain, which didn't open all week.
One night after dinner, Aunt Cass appeared at your house, your dads were trying to calm her in the living room, she seemed about to break. Apparently, Hiro had disappeared and Tadashi had gone looking for him, Aunt Cass thought he would be here with you but he wasn't there -she didn't know that you and Hiro had fought. You sat with your parents in the living room, waiting for news from Tadashi while Aunt Cass was debuting the cookies your parents had brought, a feeling of anguish tightening your chest. Then Aunt Cass received a call from the police station and ran to find her nephews, your parents sent you to bed, it was very late and you had class tomorrow but you couldn't sleep: when Aunt Cass's car appeared on the street, you stuck to your bedroom window to see how the Hamadas were arguing with each other before entering the house. You sighed in relief to see that Hiro was safe and reacted late when the light in the brothers' room came on. Hiro had sat at his computer and looked out the window -out of habit- and saw you there with a worried face. He gave you the most sly smile and you show him your middle finger before closing the curtains again. Now you could sleep.
When missing your friends won over your pride, you showed up in the Hamada's garage to see Hiro and Tadashi very focused on something they were working on, Tadashi first became aware of your presence and gave you one of his kind smiles before leaving you with Hiro to fix whatever had happened between the two of you. Hiro was very bad asking for forgiveness and talking about feelings but you were honest with him; you told him that in your old city you didn't have many friends, so Tadashi behaving so well with you was a great change for you. You also told him that you weren't in love with Tadashi, not really you thought, you were in love with the idea of Tadashi: an attentive, smart and funny boy who cared about making you feel welcome in his house because he knew you didn't know anyone and you needed friends. You ended up accepting Hiro's apology and hugging him even though he had never liked this kind of display of affection.
But he also hugged you.
Now you were in context; Tadashi showed Hiro his university and introduced him to his friends and Hiro had marveled at everything and was now trying to carry out a huge project to let him study there as well. You also met Tadashi's friends since they started coming to the Hamada's house to cheer Hiro and help him advance his project, you became good friends with Honey Lemon and Fred, you even went to eat with all of them because they invited you. Your parents were concerned that your friends list was practically much older than you but they couldn't say that they were a bad influence on you, quite the opposite actually. While Hiro was developing his project, you kept him company simply by being there with him; you talked to him about how the classes had gone, who you had a fight with, which teacher you thought was against you because you didn't pass the last exam and you drew. You spent hours talking and talking while you drew. Sometimes Hiro would go for hours and hours without answering and you thought he wouldn't listen to you and you were silent but then he interrupted his work and asked you what happened next. You smiled broadly at him and kept telling him the story. Sometimes he would ask you for help with the most important task; give him gummy bears. He would leave his mouth open and you would put the sweets.
Until the day you fell asleep at the Hamada's garage. It wasn't planned, you were really having fun with Hiro throwing gummy bears to his mouth and sketching Hiro's hands while he worked. At some point in the night Hiro realized that you had fallen asleep in the couch over your sketches but didn't wake you up, he looked for a blanket and put it on you before continuing to work. The next morning the laughter of the others woke you both up, Tadashi had taken a picture of you both sleeping together in the couch and Fred was starting to sing a song about you two sitting under a tree. From that day on, the atmosphere between you and Hiro changed. You wouldn't know if it was your negative reaction, the panic on Hiro's face or the fact that Hiro shouted that you liked Tadashi, you only knew that that day you felt very bad, a pressure in your chest that you wouldn't know how to define. Tadashi went to talk to you and you both sat down on the stairs in front of your house to talk; he told you that he was honored to have been your first love but he also told you that he felt bad for being the first to break your heart. You, to Tadashi's relief, told him that you weren't in love with him. You confessed that you didn't understand your own feelings but it was true that you took references from him for the idea of your type of boy: cool, smart and who cares about your well-being. He said, mysteriously, that you would end up realizing it. What did you have to realize? You had no idea and Tadashi wasn't going to make it easy for you. The Hamadas were obsessed with you learning by yourself.
-I thought you promised to keep my secret -you said entering the Hamada's garage- I thought you were my friend.
Hiro was sitting at the computer but his head rested on his hands and his elbows on the table, he seemed to be overwhelmed by something. When he turned to see you, it looked like he hadn't slept in days.
-I'm your friend, (Y/N).
-Friends keep secrets.
He signed, seemed really bad.
-Is the idea of dating me so bad?-you didn't know where those words came from but once they were said there was no going back. The tension between you two seemed to increase.
Hiro mumbled some things you didn't understand before sighing again and running a hand through his hair.
-What did you said? -you asked a little more abrupt than you intended.
-Can we become friends again?-he repeated a little louder- I miss you...
Something inside you stirred restlessly and perhaps it was his pleading look or that you missed your friend but you ended up smiling defeated. This time it was Hiro who hugged you, whispering another apology.
The day before the convention where Hiro was supposed to prove himself to Callahan, you spent the evening trying to calm Hiro who was on his nerves pacing from one side of the garage to the other checking that everything was perfect. Since it was an impossible task, you let him be while you made new sketches in your new sketchbook. So you spent several hours until Tadashi appeared and stood next to you to see your sketches.
-You never cease to amaze me with every drawing, (Y/N).
-Miss Trainor has taught me to focus more on how light moves -you commented absentmindedly looking at Hiro to erase a line from your sketch and draw it again.
-What are you drawing? -Hiro asked coming closer to look too.
You panicked for a few seconds and closed the notebook. This had been going on for a couple of weeks; when you started drawing you showed all your sketches, then when you started drawing Tadashi it didn't bother you that Hiro saw you draw but lately when you drew Hiro you didn't let him see your sketches. A feeling of urgency and shame arose within you every time he asked to see your notebook.
-Why can Tadashi see and I can't?
At Hiro's insistence that he was beginning to get upset and your denials that you were starting to get angry, Tadashi ended the discussion.
-Because I am a human being who stays neat and rests well. Have you seen your face? Did you even take a shower yesterday? What impression will you make tomorrow if you fall asleep in your own talk?
Embarrassed, Hiro fled to shower, slamming the door behind him. You and Tadashi laughed at the situation and then he started to go over the same details that Hiro had been perfecting.
-You care about him a lot -you said, storing your things in your shoulder bag.
-He is my little brother, for me it is natural to worry -he shrugged his shoulders closing one of the containers of microbots.
-I'm jealous... You have each other. I am always alone at home when my dads aren't around.
-You have us, (Y/N) -Tadashi approached you and put a hand on your shoulder and gave you that smile that was reserved for Hiro- You are one more and you know it.
-Thanks, Tadashi.
You hugged Tadashi with all your might, partly because you didn't want to cry and that he called you corny, and partly because you wanted to show him how grateful you were for accepting you into his family. After you broke up, Tadashi asked you to come upstairs to check that Hiro had showered and to see if you could get him to get some sleep, he was going to finish the last checks.
In other circumstances you wouldn't have minded entering Hiro's room without calling and yelling at him to do what Tadashi had asked but now every step that brought you closer to the room made you blush more. For some reason it took a lot of courage to knock at the wall to advise him that you were there, to your relief, a freshly showered and already dressed Hiro peeked down to see who was there.
-Since when do you knock? -Hiro asked, yawning and stepping aside to let you in.
-Since when do you not sleep?-you changed the subject bluntly but Hiro didn't seem to care.
-As the date gets closer I find it harder to sleep -he confessed with a shrug- I review things in my head all the time, I want it to be perfect.
-You will be better off if you rest properly - you scolded crossing your arms.
-I can't, okay? I can't sleep. Does it matter? My technology will speak for me.
-Of course it matters! Ugh. Sometimes you're impossible.
Full of rage and without saying another word you took Hiro's hand and dragged him to bed, laying you down with him. Hiro was a chaos of stammering, complaining and blushing but you imposed yourself and forced him to lean his back against the bed, you ordered him to close his eyes and you stayed with him looking at the ceiling. After a few minutes Hiro opened his eyes and turned his head towards you to tell you that he was still not sleeping. You completely turned around and looked at him angrily.
-I will stay with you until you fall asleep.
And he didn't try anything to make you leave.
The next morning both Hiro and you had to put up with comments from Tadashi, Fred, Gogo... Even Aunt Cass made a comment!
One of your dads as a professor at San Fransokyo University was helping to organize the event and the other had to be there to do an article about the event for the newspaper so Aunt Cass offered to take you with Hiro and Tadashi. Even you could see perfectly well that Hiro was pretending not to be nervous when he was actually about to have an attack so you spent most of the way holding his hand to cheer him up. You gasped when the convention doors opened and it had to be Hiro who pulled your hand in order for you to move forward. Before everyone scattered around the room to hand out the containers that guarded the microbots that Hiro had built, Honey Lemon took a selfie of the group where, to your surprise, it was Hiro who pushed you into a surprise hug so in the photo you came out looking at Hiro, smiling and if you looked closely you were a little flushed. After that you were going to go with Aunt Cass to wait for Hiro's exposition turn, but Hiro didn't let go of your hand.
-All right, bro. This is it -said Tadashi trying to bump fists with Hiro but he was distracted- Come on! Don't leave me hanging -Tadashi looked at me and then to Hiro to realize that Hiro was worried- What's going on?
-I really want to go here -he said frankly at the time he squeezed your hand.
-Hey, you got this -reassured Tadashi putting a hand on his shoulder.
Hiro looked at you one last time before releasing your hand and walk to the scenario. Tadashi and you shared a worried look but he put his arm around you and took you with him searching for aunt Cass, your two dads and the gang: they actually found the best place where they could see Hiro but when people started noticing Hiro exposition and they started to approach to see better you were too small to see through them so Wasabi sit you on his shoulders. Hiro started shyly and you thought he was so cute when he started talking with new confidence. That was the Hiro you knew and you were so proud of him. The exposition finished and you were left behind with aunt Cass and your parents and when you did it to where Hiro and the gang was, a men was already leaving them and you freaked out that this men was Alistar Krei from Krei Tech and Callahan was giving Hiro his acceptance card. Hiro seemed so freaked out and you take advantage to run and surprise him with a big hug.
-That was amazing! Why did you so much drama last night?
-What happened last night? -asked Fred with that tone that made you and Hiro blush and broke the hug.
-Nothing you should care -you crossed your arms and frowned to him.
Your parents called you and you thanks them for that, perfect timing. They told you that they should stay for the party because of their job so you had to go with the Hamadas, that didn't bother you and you found the gang going out the building. Actually, Hiro and Tadashi were leaving behind after a big hug from aunt Cass.
-Eh, where's going everyone?
-They're over there, we'll meet them at the cafe -answered Tadashi with his big smile.
-Aren't you coming?
-I want to talk with Hiro, would you save us a place with you in the cafeteria?
You smiled to Tadashi, nodding, and them looked at Hiro to hug him again.
-That was really amazing, Hiro.
He hugged you too and broke when Tadashi took a photo of you hugging.
-I'll send this to everyone!
You simply blushed again but Hiro started to chase his brother yelling at him. Laughing, you tried reach the gang at the parking but then you heard people yelling and when you noticed it the exposition building was on fire. You were so worried about your dads that you started running without care if aunt Cass shouted you don't. Your two dads were good, they could go out the building fine but then, the building exploded and when you looked you could see Hiro at the ground yelling Tadashi's name. Either your two dads could stopped you when you run to him, you stumbled and skidded on the floor in your way but you made it to him and took his face so he could look at you.
-Hiro, where's Tadashi? What happened!? Are you listening me!? What happened!?
But he didn't tell you anything. In fact he didn't tell you anymore since that day. He closed up to you, to everyone, and didn't care if there were people worried about him. You didn't know what you could do or say, your dads insisted that you only had to be there for him but you felt like you weren't welcomed in his room anymore. You tried a lot but you couldn't reach him and the person who you go when you need advice wasn't there anymore. It was frustrating and you were almost depressed as Hiro but you thought you had to be strong for Hiro and Tadashi so you still go to school and then to the Lucky Cat Cafe, you went to Hiro's room and helped him with cleaning and trying to get him out but he didn't want you there. You still trying showing him a new painting you did in Art Class but he didn't care. You thought that painting was horrible anyway, since Tadashi's death you didn't draw anything good. When it was time for you to go to your house, Aunt Cass hug you and said that you were doing good, but you didn't believe it. Took you a few weeks to stop trying. You didn't know what to do either the gang didn't have any idea.
And then, one night, your phone ring with a message from Baymax. You didn't remember what a Baymax was but the message said that Hiro needed you so you didn't hesitate, you dressed up and were careful to not wake up your dads, crossed the street and stopped when a car park next to you. Wasabi, Gogo, Honey Lemon and Fred were there, and all of you saw how Hiro with a big armored thing escaped to the streets. Gogo take you on the car and Wasabi drives following Hiro to the bay where they were spying something. He freaked out when all of you go out from the car.
-Dude, what are you doing out here? -asked Wasabi saying what everyone was thinking.
-Nothing! Just out for a walk. Helps my pubescent mood swings.
-Pubescent? -you asked as he was regretting said that.
-You have to go! -Hiro yelled at all of you stopping the questions about Baymax.
-No, don't push us away again, Hiro. We're here for you -said Honey Lemon- That's why Baymax contacted us.
-Those who suffer a lost, require support from friends and loved ones -said Baymax- Who would like to share their feelings first?
You looked at Hiro crossing your arms, after all those days without say nothing he were here playing around? You were angry and Hiro could feel that. And just when Fred was starting sharing his feelings a kabuki masked man with Hiro's microbots tried to throw you a container but Baymax stopped it. All of you run to the car but Gogo had to took Hiro because he was this stupid that he was staying there. Once in the car, Baymax broke the car ceiling with his butt so Wasabi drives you out of there.
-Hiro, explanation. Now! -said Gogo.
-He stole my microbots! He started the fire! I don't know who he is!
-And you were trying to go for him you alone!? -you freaked out taking him from the arm- You're crazy!
The whole chase took all over the town, Fred freaking out about this Kabuki man was a super villain, Honey Lemon stay at the positive part and Gogo lost all his patience and sit in Wasabi's legs to drive. Baymax saved Hiro's life and you were about to suffer a heart attack almost at every turn. Honey Lemon and you hugged while the car fell at the water and Baymax take all of you out of there.
-I told you we'd make it! -said Honey Lemon.
-Your injuries required my attention. And your body temperatures are low -said Baymax.
-We should get out of here -pointed Hiro.
-I know a place -Fred was so strange again.
While Fred took you to his house, Hiro looked at you with a feeling you couldn't say what was but you frowned at him and hugged Honey Lemon looking some warm. Fred house was ridiculously big and any of you could believe it was Fred's house. The conversation with the gang ended up suspecting about Alistair Krei was that Kabuki man, Hiro was so strange when he said he would upgrade all of you and you all agreed that someone had to catch the one who started the fire where Tadashi died. All of them worked on what skills they have and you heard them on the design on theirs suits, Hiro was the last word on the design because only him knows what he can do on his lab and you feel like old times. It was refreshing and inspiring and the fact that Hiro and you could talk again was the best part. And when everybody had their suit you looked at Hiro waiting for yours.
-What are you looking at? -he laughed a little nervous, you even said he blushed.
-Where's my suit? -you were so excited about it, you can't wait.
-Oh, your suit -Hiro didn't look at you, he was evading your eyes- I didn't do it.
-What? We were working on it! You said... -and then you realized it- You don't want me here.
-What? (Y/N) That's not true.
-You're pushing me away, again -he tried to denied it but you cut hum- You did this all the time! Why I still believing in you?
-(Y/N), I don't... You don't understand.
-I understand everything. You just were my friend because of Tadashi -you can feel tears forming on your eyes and your voice broking- You don't want to be my friend anymore?
-I don't said any of that! You're getting me out of context. Let me explain...
He tried to approach to you but you pushed him away from you and hugged yourself.
-No! I don't want more lies! I tried everything, Hiro, to cheer you up but you ignored me and when I thought we started being friends again... I don't want you to hurt me anymore.
You were crying now and Hiro looked terrible because of that, he didn't know what to do to calm you and was looking around to think something.
-I... I didn't want to hurt you.
-I wish Tadashi were here, not you.
You know from the moment those words escapes from your mouth that you will regret that forever. Hiro looked hurt first and then angry.
-Get out of here! I don't want you in my house! Never!
-I hate you! -you shouted leaving the garage but you could heard Hiro's last words.
-I wish aunt Cass never took us to your house! I wish I never met you!
That words hunted you all day and night. Your parents didn't know why you spend those days crying in your room, you were hurt and heartbroken and you knew perfectly that you have the fault. Also you knew that Hiro and the gang were busy with that Kabuki man so you thought you shouldn't bother them. You were alone, again, and you thought you deserved it. You received a message from Honey Lemon telling you to call her and when you did it, you were surprised.
-And Hiro just left you there?
-Don't worry, Fred called Heathcliff to pick us but we're worried about Hiro. Could you check if he's at his house?
-I don't know if I should... He don't want me there anymore.
-Look, I don't know what happened between Hiro and you -that was Gogo voice- But I know something about you. You two are the best friends I've ever seen, ok? And no matter what problem you have between you, you are always there for each other. Ok? So go there and check him because he wasn't himself and he needs you even if he didn't know it yet. Got it?
-But...
-Stop whining. Woman up -she said before hanging up.
At that moment you heard a noise at the street and saw how Hiro and Baymax landed and went to the garage. You took all the courage you have and send a message to Honey Lemon "I got him". When you reach the garage you were hesitant until you heard them.
-Yes! No! I don't know! Open you access! -that was Hiro's voice.
-Is this what Tadashi wanted? -and that one was Baymax's.
-It doesn't matter!
-Tadashi programed me to aid and...
-Tadashi's gone!
You were crying when you stopped hiding and called him.
-Hiro?
-(Y/N)? -he was crying too.
Neither of you moved, just stare at each other in silence. Then Baymax said:
-Tadashi's here.
-No -mumbles Hiro looking at the floor- He's not here.
Then Baymax started to reproduce a video about Tadashi building Baymax and his failed tries. He was so optimistic, and excited and tired but he never give up. You were crying again at the sight of your friend and approached to Hiro who was looking at him too.
-Oh, man. Wait till my brother and (Y/N) see you. You're gonna help so many people, buddy. So many. That's all for now. I am satisfied with my care.
The video stopped with the image of Tadashi smiling and Hiro took his hand to his brother face.
-I miss him -he said.
-Me too -you whispered looking at him- He was like a brother to me.
-He was my best friend -he didn't looked at you.
-I know... And you're mine -you surprised him and now he looked at you when the image switch off- And I hurt you and I know I said things and I am so sorry for that. I was so frustrated and upset and only thinking on me but you were suffering too and... -you stopped yourself because you were crying so much that you can't speak.
-I'm sorry too. I should talk to you before but I was scared that you would be angry with me and... -he signed- I don't regret aunt Cass forced me to go to your house to meet you, (Y/N). Actually I'm grateful.
-I... Do-don't hate you -you said between cries.
Hiro smiled at you and hugged you and you cried in his arms.
-Those who suffer a lost, require support from friends and loved ones -said Baymax.
You both laughed at this and break the hug to look at each other.
-I didn't build you a suit because I don't want you get hurt. I was trying to protect you because I can't lose you too, (Y/N).
-I understand now -you nodded smiling but then punch his arm- Next time, talk to me! Got it? I'm here for you, you stupid genius butt!
-I don't get it -he rubbed his arm- I'm a genius or a stupid?
-You're impossible!
-But you love me!
He started tickling you and you hopped he didn't notice your blush or at least think it was for the laughs.
-I knew you'll make it -Gogo voice stopped both of you.
-The all team again! -celebrate Fred.
They show you a video that they get on that spooky island and then explain to you what you discovered there. Callahan was that Kabuki man and he was taking revenge of his daughter.
The gang prepared for his next move and you helped them, givin to Gogo her bubblegum, her bag to Honey Lemon and when Hiro took his helmet you took it from his hands.
-You're gonna be careful, right?
-I promise -he smiled to you and you believe him so you put him his helmet.
-I'm trusting you, Hiro. Just come with me again.
-I will always come to you, (Y/N).
He seemed like he would say something more but Wasabi called him so he smiled at you one more time and went with the guys. You were left on the garage and use Hiro's computer to use the satellites that Hiro had hacked when he was working on Baymax scan to see what was happening. You were so proud of then when they make it to trick the bad guy and left him without the microbots. But when you saw Hiro and Baymax going on that weird portal thing you freaked out and couldn't take it anymore more. You run to your house, it was your dad free day but you needed him.
-Dad! I know it's your free day but I know where you can get a big new.
-What are you talking about?
-I'm talking about the biggest new your newspaper have never seen. Believe me.
And he believed you so he take you on his car to Krei Tech just in time to see Hiro getting out that portal thing. Your dad started to interrogate to Krei and Callahan and the police and ambulance were starting to park so you take advantage of that to run to Hiro without anyone noticed it.
-Hiro! -you jump to hug him- You made it! You came back.
-I... I promised you, didn't I?
He hugged you with a arm but he sounded sad so you looked around and that's when you noticed it.
-Where's Baymax?
He just looked at the ground without answering.
-We need to take you out of here.
The gang hides away and Heathcliff took them away while you came back with your father.
After a few days things went to normal or at least as normal as they can be. Hiro went to university with the guys and you were so proud of him while you still were going to high school but now you pass all the afternoon and evening with them at the university, Fred said you were the new pet of pet's university and you didn't complain him because it was funny. And then one day Hiro came running to the gang with a chip in his hand: it was Baymax's chip, the original! And he was so excited about it so you help him with whatever he needed, even if was only giving him gummy bears.
-I think I get it! -shouted Hiro waking you up from his desk.
You fall asleep on your sketchbook again. Since Tadashi's death you didn't draw anything good but now Hiro helped you drawing again. He worked with you and now you didn't care that his head suddenly appeared on your shoulder when you were drawing, in fact you blush and feel this weird thing because he was so close to you.
-What? -you rubbed your eyes approaching to Hiro.
-Let's try! Ow?
With that, the robot go out his container and said:
-I am Baymax, your personal healthcare companion. Hello, Hiro.
He was so freaked out that he jumped and screamed. You both were celebrating til Hiro took you by your arms and kissed you. On the lips. Your lips just touched but that was enough. He pushed himself away, blushing hard and mumbling excuses while you were so surprised that you didn't do or said anything.
-(Y/N)? I'm sorry? We can forget about this if you want.
That's when you wake up and blinked looking him like he was an alien.
-You're crazy? -you were blushing while you speak- There's no way I'm forgetting my first kiss. Furthermore when I like it.
-You did? -he smiled his eyes full of hope and excitement again.
-I like you.
-You do?
-Stop asking, you stupid brain of circuits...
You have more things to say to Hiro but he interrupted you with another kiss and then smiled you with that sly smile that you really loved.
-I knew you loved me.
-No, you didn't, you little bastard.
-You're spending so much time with Gogo -he laughed while you throw your tongue to him just for him to catch your mouth with a deepened kiss- I love you.
You blushed abruptly because of the kiss and his words.
-I... I said I like you -you mumbled.
-I know but I love you since last year -he simply said with his sweet smile- That's why I was so mean with you. I was jealous of Tadashi.
-You're a weirdo, you know?
-But you love me, just you don't realize it.
You were feeling that thing again, the blush doesn't go away from your face and you suspected Hiro was delighted with that fact.
-I'm going to kill you.
-Death is a thing I can't take care of-said Baymax pointing with his hand.
-It's just an expression, buddy-answered Hiro, smiling.
-Don't be so sure about that.

towards the sun — hiro hamada x reader
chapter one: bonding on boring overnights
Tumblr media
summary: you’ve been forced to grow up pretty quickly. at the age of 13, you graduated high school, and went straight into college. your friends had your back, but after your closest one passes, how will his brother change your life.
a/n: sorry for taking so long 😭 schools kicking my ass </3
wc: 1.1k
warning(s): very much not proofread, but pls let me know if they’re any errors 😭
tadashi had personally asked you to come over to help hiro prepare his microbots, knowing your background on anything neural. you were more than happy to help, spending time with tadashi, seeing cass again and getting to know his cute brother? there was really no losing here!
you entered the lucky cat cafe, instantly greeted by the warm and cozy atmosphere and the delicious smell of fresh pastries wafted from the oven. you smiled, sniffing the air with a happy hum.
“(y/n)!” cass smiled, walking over and engulfing you in a tight embrace.
you didn’t hesitate to hug her back, settling into her embrace rather quickly. “hey, cass. are tadashi and hiro in the garage?” you asked, pulling back and adjusting your bag.
“yep! still working on hiro’s big project. oooh, it’s so exciting!” she squealed, walking back in. you chuckled, shaking your head.
“well, i just stopped in to say hi, but i’ll be going to help them now.” you waved, walking back out of the shop. the bell jingled as you opened the door, and you turned the corner of the house.
“hey, hiro. dashi.” you smiled, walking into the garage. they whipped their heads to you, waving happily at your arrival.
“hey, aqua. welcome to our garage.” hiro says, spreading his arms out.
“it’s lovely..?” you snickered at the gummy bear bags littering the ground. you glanced up at hiro, who was bashfully looking away. he was very endearing for someone who just met last week. you smirked softly, clapping and rubbing your hands together. “well? let’s get started.”
and that began the nights of work inside of the hamada’s garage, and you crashing on the couch. your moms didn’t mind, they were happy that you were finally getting out of the house for something other than school or dumpster diving for extra supplies.
you and hiro had actually ended up getting closer, and tadashi was beginning to notice the patterns of staring and blushing and subtle brushing of hands. he didn’t mind, in fact he took advantage of it.
during the middle of the night once, he came down to check on you two, and found you with your head on hiro’s shoulder, as hiro rested his head in his arms on his desk. he placed a blanket over you two, and cockily walked out, primed and ready with phrases to tease hiro the next morning after you finally left.
tonight, at around 2 in the morning, the sky was decorated with stars that barely got to shine because of the city lights around you.
you remember when you were little, you had gone on a camping trip for school, and it was the first time you really saw the stars. how some of them flickered and the different sizes they came in, and your mothers knew you’d be infatuated with it. (they were right, big shock.)
hiro held a small tablet out in front of the both of you, gummy bears from the packet slightly spilling onto his lap. he was scrolling through all the coding the both of you have done, eyes drooping.
you slowly and tiredly plucked a gummy bear off of his lap, placed it against your lips, and slowly pushed it in your mouth. hiro watched, amused before he shuffled all the colorful little gummies into the bag and onto the side table.
swallowing, you watched hiro set down the tablet as well, stretching like an old dog before flipping back onto the couch, eyes fluttering shut.
“good work, partner.” you yawned, taking your turn to sit up, bending down to touch your socked covered toes. hiro watched you move, so gently, but so lively as well. “ready to hit the hay?”
hiro raised an amused brow as you reached up and tugged the hair tie out of your (h/c) locks, running your hair through the knots.
“do you ever go home, (y/n)?” hiro asked teasingly.
you whipped your head to him, eyes narrowed sharply, and hiro froze. “do you ever not eat gummy bears? you’ve probably got a bad dental record for cavities.” you retorted playfully, and hiro snickered.
“i actually do. i don’t know how my dentists tolerates me, to be completely honest.” you and hiro laughed, subtly scooching closer to one another.
“eh, you’re not so bad.” you gazed over at him through hooded eyes, smiling dizzily. “albeit, i did think you were a brat after what tadashi told us you said about SFIT.”
hiro groaned, rubbing his hand over his face. “siblings love exposing each other. be lucky you don’t have one.” he said, rolling his head to the side to looking over at you.
“after seeing you and tadashi? definitely counting myself lucky.” you nodded, and the two of you settled into a comfortable silence.
and before you knew it, you slowly woke up, the sun rising with you, in a sense. you groggily rubbed your eyes, nuzzling into the pillow beneath your head.
wait.
you shot up, blushing softly as you realized you were sleeping on hiro for the entirety of the night. he was very comfortable, but the last thing you remembered was teaching hiro about the complexities of creating a neural interface if he knew nothing of it, which he did thankfully, but only the basics.
you rose out of the chair quietly, gently placing the warm blanket back over hiro. you backed away slowly, but bumped into someone. you squeaked, jumping in surprise before turning around. upon seeing a smirking tadashi, you groaned and went to grab your bag.
“not a word, beanstalk.” you grumbled, slinging your bag over your head. “tell hiro i said good luck with the neural interface! ill definitely be there at the showcase next weekend.” you called out, beginning your way back to school.
hiro groaned, squinting as he slowly lifted his head from the desk. he looked around for you, but you were gone, but tadashi was there.
“tadashi? aren’t you supposed to be at school?” he asked, rubbing his eyes. noticing tadashi’s sly grin, he groaned. “what now?”
“you and aqua seemed to warm up to each other pretty quickly, little brother.” tadashi dragged out his words teasingly, wiggling his eyebrows. “i mean, it’s cute. i can see it happening.”
“nothing is happening! you’re crazy.” hiro shoved tadashi lightly, scoffing while picking up the gummy bear wrappers. “we just… ended up like that last night. that’s it. it’s not like i like her or anything.”
tadashi raised a brow, snickering. “whatever you say, hiro. breakfast is ready, and i’ll see you later.” he waved as he walked off in the same direction you went in.

|| ᴜɴᴅᴇʀᴄᴏᴠᴇʀ || ʜɪʀᴏ ʜᴀᴍᴀᴅᴀ x ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ ||
[ 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 ]
You enter the cafe, glancing at the display case filled with pastries and doughnuts. Your mouth waters, your stomach rumbling hungrily. You notice the small chatter around you and become self-conscious.
In retrospect, someone wearing a broad-brimmed hat and sunglasses with a mask covering the bottom half of their face is bound to draw some looks here and there.
But today’s your day off from work, and you intend to enjoy it fully without being mobbed by the paparazzi. You had decided in the morning to wander around San Fransokyo, maybe even catch a glimpse of the superheroes everyone’s been talking about, when you decided to stop at a cafe for lunch.
You join the short queue of customers, trying to decide what to get as you scan the menu. The big breakfast looks incredibly appealing, and the photo beside its name almost makes you drool. You could really use some coffee to energize yourself as well.
You’re finally in front of the cashier, having waited patiently for the person in front to count their change before they leave. The cute boy in front of you looks to be around your age, and the way he runs a hand through his fluffy hair makes you smile.
“What can I get you?” He pauses when he looks up at you, slightly caught off guard by your getup. You clear your throat, fighting back the embarrassed flush that blooms on your cheeks.
“Hi, could I get a large latte and a big breakfast combo?” You request, though your voice is slightly muffled through the mask.
“Yeah, sure. How would you like your eggs?”
“Scrambled, please.”
“Your total will be eleven dollars and thirty cents.” He tells you. Your wallet is already pulled out, but in your haste to grab the money, your sunglasses slide off your face with a clatter on the counter.
You freeze, a twenty dollar bill in your hand as he picks it up for you. You take it back from him with a thankful nod, accidentally making eye contact before quickly sliding them back on.
Your breath hitches in that second, scared that he had recognized you and would call the paps to spread the news that you’re here. You take a deep breath, trying to calm yourself. He probably hadn’t gotten a good look at you, considering that your hat might’ve blocked most of his view.
“Where do I collect the food?” You ask, picking up the change.
“It’s okay. I’ll bring it to you.”
“Oh, do you do that for all the customers here?” You’re surprised, though it’s very nice of them to do so.
“Only the pretty ones.” He smirks slightly with a shrug as he waits for the small printer to spit out the receipt.
Your lips part, trying to find a response after his words render you speechless.
“And I don’t usually give discounts either.” He adds with a small smile, handing you back your receipt. You take it with a shy smile and bashful nod, scurrying to an empty seat next to the window.
You pull out your phone, already buzzing with messages from your manager telling you to return quickly for a new reading of a script that’s been offered to you. You sigh, not opening any of them before pulling out a book and headphones. You connect the wireless headphones to your phone, slumping back in your secluded corner and pressing play on the music.
You open the book, starting off from the page that you left off. It’s your favourite book, smiling fondly at the dog-eared pages your thumb brushes against. You read for a while, removing your hat and sunglasses and placing them beside you for better lighting.
You’re interrupted when the smell of coffee hits you, looking up to see the cute cashier that had flirted with you earlier. Your eyes immediately widen, heat blooming on your cheeks as he looks down at you with a grin, placing your coffee and plate of food on your table.
You try to help him arrange the things on your table, your hands brushing against his when you reach for the salt shaker at the same time. He chuckles nervously, and you also spot a faint red on his cheeks when he averts his eyes with a shy smile.
“Thanks,” You manage to say, your lips suddenly dry when your gaze meets his.
“No problem, hope you enjoy. I’d love to hear what you think of the Lucky Cat Cafe’s food.”
You nod, filing away the name for any future visits. He leaves with another quick glance over his shoulder, and you tear your eyes away from his retreating figure. You start to eat, glancing up every now and then to see him interacting with other customers.
When a group of people enter the shop, he greets them with a warm smile, making your stomach flip as you clear your throat, looking away. Your eyes unintentionally settle on his figure again, only to inhale sharply when you notice he’s also looking at you.
Your gaze drops down to your food, feeling hot as the blush creeps up your neck to your cheeks. You’re an actress, for goodness sake, you scold yourself, so act!
You focus on your food, but hushed whispers attract your attention. You look back up, noticing that his group of friends are watching you with wide eyes as recognition fills their eyes. You stiffen, trying to finish your food more quickly.
You hear the whispers die down, glancing up again curiously to see him frowning and saying a few words to his friends with his hand on his hip, and they glance back apologetically with bashful nods. You quickly nod back with a flustered wave when he smiles at you again.
Once you finish your food, you leisurely sip your coffee, watching the cute guy occasionally. He seems to do the same, sneaking small glances here and there. He’d be talking to a customer, only for his eyes to wander over to where you’re sitting.
You’d know; you caught him doing it a few times.
He finally settles one more customer before walking over and taking your empty plate. “So? How’s the food?” He asks, his friends having wandered upstairs to hang out with someone that looks like his brother, the older one giving him a noogie you chuckled at.
“It’s delicious. And,” You hesitate, “Thank you.”
It’s genuine, and you’re sure he can sense what you’re referring to when his eyes flicker over to you with a hint of surprise before his lips curve upwards into an attractive grin.
“Anything for a cute girl like yourself.”

He should've known this day was too good to be true.
James Brown had woken up that morning knowing it was going to be a good day. The sun was shining and the air didn't have the cutting edge that the October wind usually had. His favorite person in the whole world was cuddled like the little angel she was on the pull out bed in the Living Room and there was left-over pizza for breakfast too. His day at work had gone great as well. After sending his little angel to school he had walked to his workplace where his morning class was standing, the whole studio decorated with streamers and balloons, celebrating the small victory he had gotten a few days ago in a dance competition.
Then in the afternoon, around three, when his first class had left and his next one arrived, he had received five more applications from enthusiastic parents, who were keen on letting their children learn how to dance.
Then his Real Estate Agent arrived telling him that she had been able to get the vacant studio he had his eye on and he had almost had to refrain himself from jumping right then and there. Although that caution was tossed out of the window as soon as his little angel, who took his evening classes, came over and asked what was happening. He had tossed her in the air, shouting the good news at the top of his voice. His little angel had laughed with him, hugging him back, just as happy as he was at the news. She knew how long her Godfather had wanted that Studio and now he was getting it. He was so happy that he had taught his students a few of the complicated Break Dance Moves that he only taught to the more Advanced students.
Elated and with a smile still on his face he had said goodbye to all his pupils, including his little angel who had said she was going to go get something as a surprise for him. He had been locking up his Studio when a letter arrived for him. As soon as he heard the phrase
"There is a letter for you."
He had stopped short with what he had been doing. He never got any letters. No one sent letters anymore. They preferred using their cell-phones or e-mails. Never letters. Thanking the elderly postman, he stood near his desk, his blonde hair falling over his grey eyes, fingers gripping the letter which had the return address of the one place he knew very well. Turning over the envelope, the twenty-four year old had taken a deep breath before opening it and unfolding the piece of paper inside.
His eyes scanned over the first line of the letter and instantly he felt his world come crashing down around him.
He had stood there motionless for a second before he slid down on the ground, his legs trembling, his hand gripping the letter tightly to him as his eyes filled with tears. Wiping at them angrily he held the letter up, reading the line again, a painful clench surrounding his heart. With every word he read it felt as if a hand was clamping around his heart.
Making it harder for him to breath.
Tears were slipping down his cheeks as he finished the letter. Memories swam in front of his eyes, as he tried to regain his composure. Voices and laughter rang in his ears as his mind thought of the more happier times. The air around him felt heavy and suddenly he felt like the spacious studio was closing in on him.
Scrambling to his feet and grabbing his jacket the man had rushed out of the Studio, not even stopping to say goodbye to the night guard. He ran and ran until he stood in front of the one place that had once brought him happiness. The same Studio he had just had the luck to get. It was situated in a more busy part of the city. The people around him rushed to their tasks, not even sparing a second glance at the young man standing in front of the abandoned Studio. James had looked at the building for almost an hour before he had been snapped out of his own misery by the thought of someone. His little angel! Images of a sweet little black haired eleven year old, with the eyes of an angel, began to play through his mind. He almost collapsed right then and there from the grief that coursed throughout his body.
How could he forget her?!
How was he ever going to break the news to her? She didn't deserve this.
She was just a child!
No child deserved this.
The thoughts still plaguing his mind he started walking past the building, aimlessly, until he halted in front of a rather busy building. Looking up he glanced at the logo. Lucky Cat Cafe. Maybe a cup of coffee, really strong coffee, would help him. He had to pull himself together. Not only for his own sane state of mind but for his little angel as well. He would've turned to something more...stronger but he was never going down that road again. He had almost lost his life because of it but then someone had made him realize that he was stronger, more braver and he had quit. And anyway this time, the thought of his little angel helped him a lot.
Now he sat in the little booth in the farthest corner of the cafe, nursing a now cold cup of coffee as he stared off listlessly into space. After a few sips in the beginning he had abandoned his coffee, when it had done nothing for him, beside make his brain go into overdrive, thinking over every last little thing, picturing all kinds of worst case scenarios. He dropped his head in his hands, his fingers gripping his hair as he pursed his lower lip to stop himself from crying out in frustration.
What if he failed?
What if he lost her?
He would never be able to live with himself if that ever happened.
He would rath-
"Are you alright?"
The voice seemed to make everything stop for him.
His thoughts stopped.
His breathing stopped.
Even the world stopped.
And later he would wander if his heart hadn't stopped as well and then started again.
He looked up to see a pair of soft brown eyes looking at him with concern. He opened his mouth to say he was alright. He opened his mouth to lie and say that everything was fine when it was not. He opened his mouth to tell the kind woman to go.
Instead he heard himself saying.
"How do you tell an eleven year old girl that her parents are dead?"
The woman stared at him, with an incredulous and surprised expression on her face, while he quickly averted his grey eyes from hers, suddenly finding it too hard to look at them. He cleared his throat, quickly standing up and reaching inside his jacket pocket to take out the money he owed for the coffee put it on the table and go. But he suddenly stopped when the same voice came again.
"Gently!"
His eyes snapped up to look at the woman. She was smiling sadly at him, but it was the look in her eyes that stopped him. It was the same look he had seen in his eyes when he stood in front of the window of the Studio. This woman had suffered just as he had. Maybe she was in the same situation as him. Maybe she was going through the situation at the moment. His racing thoughts were suddenly cut off when he seemed to catch onto the fact that the woman had said something.
"Sorry?"
The woman's small smile never wavered as she looked up at him from her rather short stature. (She barely came up to his chin)
"You break it to her as gently and as kindly as you can." The woman paused for a second than continued. "And you tell her that you will be there for her no matter what." Her voice had a break in it but even then she spoke the words with as much of a brave face as she could.
There was silence as both the adults just looked at each other. There was a connection that seemed to pull them together. It was that same feeling that somehow pushed people together because that time was the one time a person would need someone else who had suffered just as much as they had. Someone who would understand their pain and what they were going through.
He had lost his best friends. If he were to go with the look in her eyes he could assume that she had lost someone close to her as well.
He opened his mouth to say something but the tinkling of a small bell made him look up and the woman to turn away from him. Seeing the three people walking in had him frown in confusion. His eyes widened seeing the state the three children were in. But it was the state of one of them that had him call out:
"Sakura?"
In front of him the woman called out, the same time he did.
"Tadashi? Hiro?"
                                              ————————–
The little apartment on top of the cafe could be defined in a single word. Cozy. Okay maybe even snug. The stairs lead to the living area of the apartment which had a joint kitchen attached to it. While Cass, as James had gathered from the younger boys calling her Aunt Cass, had taken the black haired girl, shivering and wet to change her clothes James had taken over the duty of looking over at the two boys, Tadashi and Hiro, to see how injured they were.
After glancing at Tadashi's jaw and telling him to just put some ice on it, he had turned to Hiro. Setting the younger boy, on top of the kitchen counter, James frowned, his lips pursed un concentration as he examined the little boy's arm and torso. After awhile he nodded once and stepped back to look at the anxious older brother, looking at him. He smiled.
"Don't worry! Its just a few bruises. Nothings broken." He said, his voice reassuring. He watched as the older boy's shoulders sagged with relief. He must've been really worried about him. A pang hit his heart when he thought of another person who had acted just like that with him, just a few years ago. Shaking his head mentally to clear it he brought his train of thoughts back just in time to hear the boy reply.
"Thank you!" Tadashi smiled at him. James grinned back.
"Don't mention it kid." He said, before turning back to the younger boy sitting in front of him.
"Now Hiro, I know that I'm not your guardian or anything, heck I don't even know you, but that was a very brave thing to do. But be a bit careful next time ok?"
The young boy looked up at him, from underneath his hair, his head low. James could tell that the little boy was wary around him and he could relate. As grown up as he was, he himself wasn't very comfortable with strangers.
"Please try not to get hurt next time, sweetie!"
All three heads turned to look at the woman entering the small living room. As soon as she had seen both her boys, and the state they were in, she had started to fuss over them like a mother hen. Brushing their hair back, smothering their faces with kisses, hugging them tightly, gasping at the bruises Hiro supported and muttering something about not being a good and responsible guardian and slacking off from her duties, before she had taken a deep breath, calming herself, then told both the boys to get upstairs.
Her attention had then snapped towards the black haired girl, standing next to her nephews, dripping wet in her clothes, teeth chattering slightly. The brown haired woman had said something about dry clothes and simply pointed towards the staircase.
Sakura's eyes had snapped towards the man standing behind her and the older woman had told James to follow her upstairs as well. She had immediately told Hiro to take off his shirt, so she could check his bruises while leading Sakura away to the bathroom. James had volunteered to check up on the boys and the brown haired woman smiled had him, her soft brown eyes shining with relief. Now Cass Hamada smiled again before coming to stand next to her nephew and brushing his untidy hair back from his face. The young boy nodded once.
"Ok, Aunt Cass!"
The woman smiled once, pressing a small kiss to his head before turning to look at her older nephew. Her smile turned into a grin.
"So, Tadashi, Sakura punched you because she thought you were a bully too?"
James was proud of Sakura. He knew it was wrong, the boy had gotten hurt for nothing, but he was proud of the fact that Sakura could throw a punch like that. Meanwhile a sheepish nod from Tadashi was the only response the female Hamada got. James grinned while the woman laughed lightly under her breath.
"Well that takes the classic 'Pulling the pigtails thing' to a whole new level." James said chuckling lightly under his breath. Cass turned to look at him, a chastising look on her face, although she was still smiling. Behind her the door to, what he could only assume was her room, opened and all heads turned to look at the girl stepping out of it, dressed in a jean and hoodie that was slightly too big on her. Her hair was freshly dried, out of her pony tail, but her hat was on top of her head. Glancing up to see everyone looking at her, the girl smiled sheepishly. James raised an eyebrow, as he stepped forward, his arms folded across his chest.
"So you fell in the pond, huh?"
A nod.
James sighed tiredly. "How did that even happen?"
A shrug.
"Did you trip over your own feet again?"
A rather slow and hesitant shrug before it was cut off by Tadashi speaking up, as he came to stand next to Hiro., who was sitting on the counter, waving his legs back and forth in the air.
"She tripped over her own feet!"
Sakura turned to glare at the boy, while he just looked at her, with a shrug and a small smile of his own. Aunt Cass sighed before picking up the black bag and handing it to the girl.
"You should probably be more careful next time, sweetie."
Sakura moved to nod at the woman, but a sneeze cut her off. Cass frowned.
"You should probably go home and have something to warm you up." She advised, helping her put on her bag and then straightening it for her. The girl nodded again.
"I will! Thank you, Miss Hamada!" She said before walking over to Hiro and grinning at him.
"Try and be more careful next time squirt!" She said reaching up to ruffle his hair playfully, making the boy giggle, as he tried swatting her hands away from him. Turning to his older brother, Sakura's expression turned to one of guilt, as her fingers started to fiddle with the strap of the bag on her shoulder.
"Sorry about that!" She apologized, nodding towards his jaw. Tadashi gave a small smile, as he shook his head.
"Its alright. It was an accident." He paused for a second to clear his throat before giving the girl a small smile.
"Thank you for helping Hiro."
Sakura's face split into a joyous grin at the words.
"No problem."
James smiled at the little scene before calling out.
"Come on, Sakura. Lets go!" The girl ran over to his side, instantly gripping his much larger hand in her smaller one. Turning to look at the boy's aunt she smiled, shyly.
"Thank you for the clothes Miss Hamada. I'll return them as soon as I can." She promised. The brown haired woman, gave a small wave.
"Its alright honey! Take all the time you need. Oh wait!"
The woman quickly walked forward, into the small kitchen to pick up a small brown paper bag and handing it to Sakura.
"Now don't say no." She chastised as soon as she saw the older man open his mouth to say something. "This is just a little something as a thank you for helping Hiro!" She smiled, before leaning forward to plant a small kiss on the girls forehead. Her cheeks slightly red, the girl shyly accepted the bag as James smiled at the woman.
"Thank you!" Sakura said, her voice soft and low as she ducked behind James. He smiled down at the suddenly shy girl, she always got like that when it came to adults. He looked up to see the brown haired woman look at him. He was a bit taken aback when his grey eyes met with sad yet understanding brown eyes. Her eyes flickered towards the girl next to him and her lips pulled in a soft yet sad smile.
Suddenly as if it were coming back to him, his heart made a painful clench at the thought of the letter, stuffed safely inside his jacket pocket. But now, somehow, he had the courage to tell his Angel. Feeling Sakura tug at his hand, leading him down the stairs of the small apartment on top of the cafe he quickly mouthed a thank you.
As she watched him be pulled away with surprisingly a lot of force from a girl so little, Cass Hamada could do nothing except wish him luck.
Five minutes out of the cafe, found James carrying Sakura on his shoulders, not because she was tired but because she wanted to. As James walked down the street his heart clenched again, as he listened to his Angel chatter happily, telling him all the minor details of her little adventure. He could feel the smile on her face as she spoke.
He just hoped the news wouldn't take it away…

Tumblr media
You actually met because of Tadashi
You are Honey Lemon's sister which leaded to you meeting Tadashi and then Hiro
You are a great friend of the gang as well
Hiro is such a cuddler
He's usually the big spoon, but, sometimes, you are.
At times, Baymax joins you both 'cause it helps with "emotional well-being"
The fact that Baymax can make himself warm is a plus
You help him to find ideas to create later on
He always considers your opinions on his inventions and take notes of your ideas
Which you find really sweet
Dates mostly consist of you both working on projects of his while talking about various things
You often go on more romantic dates, like picnics, expensive suppers/dinners, etc
Aunt Cass adores you
You often help her with the café
Which she is really grateful for
Not really approving of Hiro doing bot street fights
Because you know that, if he really put is mind to it, he could do so many great things
But, still being there with him to cheer during the fight
It ended up with both of you being scolded by Tadashi
Hiro and you immediately were fascinated by Baymax
You tried helping Hiro finding an idea for the SFIT showcase
And when he did, you tried helping him as best as you could
Being extremely proud of him after his performance
Helping him after Tadashi's death
In the beginning, he didn't want your help
Which leaded to him pushing you away quite a few times
Yet, you were stubborn and keep on being there for him
But, later on, he thanked you for it
You were one of the only people to believe Hiro about the man with the Kabuki mask
You were contacted by Baymax, along with the gang
Which ended up with you accompanying the group to the docks where you all found Hiro with an armored Baymax
Freaking out when the masked man started chasing you all
When Hiro made upgrades for the gang, he tried to keep you out of this mess
But, you refused be the one watching from the sidelines
He eventually gave in and gave you an upgrade as well
You were slightly disappointed after Hiro tried to hurt Callaghan at the island
But you were one of the main reasons why Hiro stepped down afterwards
He blamed himself after the incident, but you all pardoned him
You were extremely worried when Hiro went to save Abigail
But you believed in him and knew he could do it
After he came back without Baymax, you helped him rebuild the robot

Amos'Little Angel - Harry Potter
This idea just popped up in my mind. Most likely from a Hiro Hamada X Reader story I've read aged ago and decided to come back to me and hit me like the Hogwarts Express.
You're the youngest Diggory btw, as you can see from the title. And everyone lives. Cause frik you Voldy, stay handsome like Tom Riddle.
AND Y'ALL DON'T KNOW HOW TO WALK VERY MUCH AND THE WAY U GUYS SPEAK ARE YK, HOW LITTLE BABIES/TODDLERS SPEAK.
I went to school when I was 2- I don't really know HOW could I talk at a young age but oh weLL-
"Amos!" James explained happily, opening the door for his friend and his family.
"Hello, James." Smiled Amos, "It's nice to see you and little Harry again!" He smiled at the 2 year old Potter, who was playing with a stag, werewolf and dog plushie.
"And it's also nice to you too! Is this
Y/N? The little.angel Cedric has been talking about?" James questioned and Amos nodded. "Yep! Just turned 2 last week. Very cheeky, I say. Knows many ways to prank at a very young age." Amos replied while letting his daughter down on the play mat where Harry was sitting on.
Y/N smiled at her dad and looked at Harry, who felt her gaze and turned to face her as well. Harry placed his plushies down and waved and walked slowly to her, "Hewo," He waved. Y/N stared at his mesmerising eyes before waving back. "Henlo."
"I'm Harry, you?" Asked Harry, his head tilting a bit. "I'm Y/N." Y/N smiled at Harry.
"Wanna play?" He offered, handing out the werewolf plushie. "Okway."
Y/N said and took the plushie from his hand carefully.
"Hey N/N!" The two young lovebirds- ahem. I mean kids looked up to see Cedric, Y/N's older brother of course.
"Hi Ceddy." His little sister smiled brightly at her brother. "Look! Harry and I are playing!" She laughed, making the two boys smile.
After a few minutes of playing, they began to feel sleepy.
"Aww, they look tired." Lily cooed and picked up the two gently and slowly. "Hey Amos, I'm just going to put these two cuties to bed if that's alright." Lily asked Amos quietly. "Sure! I don't mind." He said and continued to talk to Arthur.
Lily slowly lied the two down on Harry's crib (which can fit 3 kids cause Harry is a messy sleeper). "Goodnight," Lily kissed the children's forehead before leaving the room.
A few hours later, Amos, James, Lily and almost everyone who was in their little get-together (which was a lot of ppl btw.) entered the room and found the kids hugging each other as they slept.
A chorus of "aw's" and clicks from camera's filled the room, but luckily Harry and Y/N were still sound asleep.
"We should have more get togethers with all of the kids." James said to everyone, who nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, put them all in one room while we get drunk too." Sirius said and received a smack on the arm from Molly. "I'm just kidding.. Or am I?" He spoke again and received another smack on the head from James.
"20 galleons if these two catch feelings during their Hogwarts years." The Weasley twins said at the same time. "Add 10 galleons to that if they catch feelings before their Hogwarts years." Sirius said. "Bet." The twins replied and snapped more pictures of the children.
"Imagine Ron third wheeling tho." Said Bill.
"50 galleons if he does." Dumbledore said and received weird looks.
"How and when did he get there?" Asked the twins as Dumbledore smiled at the two. "I ship."

Chapter Warnings: mentions of abuse and self harm, painful flashbacks, death, grief, angst... this one's rough
Word Count: idk but not as many
• Part 2/?
Tumblr media
My eyes were so heavy, I did not dare open them. They weren't just heavy, but felt thick and swollen with slight pain. I must have been asleep for days. The way I slowly began to remember things went as follows: I remember the showcase, my presentation, and I remember Hiro' s Micro bots. I remember Alistair Krei and his offer to Hiro. I remember celebrating Hiro's acceptance into the school. I remember Tadashi in the soft moonlight. I remember sirens and alarms. I remember fire. I remember Tadashi running inside the building. I remember trying to do the same, and finally I remember the explosion.
Without a care of how much pain I was in, my eyes bolted open and I leaned up from where I was laying. I looked around, not quite familiar with my surroundings. The color of the room was stark white, and everything inside was either the same color, or a similar variation of it. When I saw no one in the room I looked around. Maybe I could go get someone and ask them what has happened.
I began to get out of the bed, but I couldn't move my left leg. It was completely an totally useless. When I saw the thick white cast stretching from my foot to my knee, I was able to see what the trouble was. Given that I was alone in a room with no explanation of anything, and I wasn't able to get up to find out why, I found myself in a state of panic. I quickly began to breathe faster, as it seemed I wasn't able to take in the oxygen I so clearly needed.
I pulled my legs closer to my chest and wrapped my arms around myself to try and calm down, but it wouldn't work. With each speedy breath I could hear the monitor beside me begin to freak out. The loud beeping was making it worse, my head was pounding, and I covered my ears and sqeezed my eyes shut, trying to picture some better, anything better than this.
The sting of the blade in the shower was nothing compared to the emotion pain. The words, so harsh I wished myself to disappear completely from the world, and the beatings, sometimes for no reason at all. What a parent does to their child effects the way they function for the rest of their days.
A memory crossed my mind, and my eyes began to water as I tried to push it all out. I wanted nothing more than to be in a safe place that I knew.
Thin red lines appeared, and small red droplets were slowly washed down the drain. Tears went with them. My arms would heal, but I doubted my heart ever would. I didn't ask for any of this, neither did I believe I deserved it.
My hands were still covering my ears, and my eyes had completely spilled over with the floodgates of tears. My head was spinning and that terrible beeping noise was still present, despite my attempts to avoid it.
"Y/n.." a muffled voice called out. I didn't know who it belonged to, but I tried my best to calm down enough to see.
"Y/n, you're okay..." I felt a hand on my shoulder, and though it was not a familiar one, I was able to slow down my breathing just at the thought of knowing I was no longer alone in an unfamiliar setting.
I opened my eyes and brought my hands away from my ears, trying my best to relinquish the quick paced breathing I had taken on.
"That's it, keep breathing." The woman beside me, who I had now realized was a nurse, was stroking up and down my back to help me.
"Thank you..." I murmured once I was able to catch my breath.
"It's okay. I'm Renata, your nurse, so if you have any questions-"
"Is there a Tadashi Hamada in the hospital by any chance?" I rushed out, not even giving her the opportunity to give me the last words in her sentence.
"I'm not sure, but if so... I don't think I'm allowed to give out that information. I'm sorry." The look on her face reflected sympathy. I could almost tell just by looking at her that she knew I was asking about a friend.
"Its okay..." I trailed off, beginning to get worried. I needed to know how long it would be till I could get out of here. "Do you think you could contact some people for me?"
"Sure, are they family members?"
"Just about the only ones I got."
(•-•)(•-•)(•-•)(•-•)(•-•)
It took about five minutes after the nurse left for the door to open again, and in came Hiro and aunt Cass, their faces were streaked with tears, but they tried to still hold it together for my sake.
"Y/n..." Hiro started crying not even a moment later, sitting down on the bed as we hugged each other tightly. With the way they approached me, I was beyond terrified to ask.
"Tadashi?" Was all I could muster at this point.
"He-" Hiro couldn't even get the words out for the sobs that racked his body. I teared up without even hearing the words, but I knew something went terribly wrong. "He's in a coma."
They spilled over, the tears I had pent up just waiting to hear what it was that happened to my Tadashi.
"Do they think he'll make it?" I managed to get out those words towards Cass, seeing that Hiro was far too unstable to answer.
All she did was squeeze her eyes shut and drop her head forward into her hands.
No...
I was loosing it. There was no way this was happening, because in a world so cruel and full of anguish, there was still light. The only light I ever had was Tadashi, and it wouldn't be fair to take him from me. Not after everything else. Maybe it was a selfish way to think, or maybe it was just my way of dealing with this awful piece of news.
We all sat there, entangled in each other's arms as we cried. It took us all so long to calm down, that I had noticed it was dark out the window beside my bed.
Soft sniffles could be heard even from outside the room, but no one dared to bother us, which we were grateful for.
"Is he here?" I asked as soon as I thought it had been calm enough in the room.
"Yes... but, we're not allowed to see him. He's in intensive care, only the doctors can go in." Cass informed me, her voice still shaky from her uneven breathing.
"Does anyone know what happened last night?" I wasn't sure if this would be a sensitive question, but I also didn't consider how accurate the words in it would be.
"Last night? Y/n the showcase was four days ago..." Hiro furrowed his eyebrows, his hand resting on my shoulder as I took it in.
"I've been asleep that long?" I mirrored the boy's facial expression, squinting my eyes as I began to understand the severity of my own situation. "What happened to me?"
"Well they said you have a concussion.... and your leg is broken, but other than that I don't think much else is wrong." Cass was now able to speak evenly as she had taken a few more seconds to recoup herself.
I sighed in relief, knowing my injuries weren't as horrible as I thought they might be. I dropped my face again as soon as I realized what Tadashi must be going through. My sweet, wonderful, amazing Tadashi.
Why do bad things happen to good people? Good people who have done nothing but help others and try to give everything they have. Those are always the ones that suffer in the end.
"Did everyone make it out of the fire?"
Hiro and Cass looked at each other before coming closer to me. Again, Hiro placed a hand on my shoulder, and he looked at me as if this next piece of information was the most personal.
"Professor Callahan didn't make it out... They never found his body, but the fire..." he trailed off, seeing the look of distress on my face, knowing he probably shouldn't finish his sentence.
Robert Callahan was the person who changed my life around. He was the one who was able to pull me from the abusive household that I had been raised in. He spotted the potential in me that I didn't even see in myself. He helped me to become what I was now. He made me realize how smart I was, and what I could do with my intelligence. When I was at my lowest point, and thought it may never get better, he had gotten me a place to stay, and a full ride scholarship into the San Fransokyo Institution of Technology. It was my life's turn around, and it was the way I came upon the best friend I ever had. The only true father figure I'd ever looked up to in my life was gone, and died a horrible death.
"Are you okay?" Cass came around the bed to sit on the other side, coming close enough to embrace me in her arms.
"I uh... I think I just need a minute to let it sink in."
"It's okay, take your time sweetheart." Cass didn't leave my side, and neither did Hiro. Although the time must be ridiculously late by now, and Cass worked tomorrow, they didn't move a muscle.
After a few minutes, the tears flowed, and I did nothing to restrict them from racing down the redness of my cheeks.
The two that comforted me did a well enough job, although the person who's arms I would have felt the most safe in while I cried my eyes out wasn't able to hold me. He wasn't even able to wake up.
If I lost him too, well, I don't even know what I would do then. I might revert back to the place of darkness I had been in before I met him.
(•-•)(•-•)(•-•)(•-•)(•-•)
Since school had let out for the summer, and I wasn't really keen on staying in a lonely apartment by myself, aunt Cass offered to let me stay with her and Hiro when I was released from the hospital.
It had only been a week since the accident, but I wasn't going to stay in that cold, stark white room another day longer. Even though they advised a bit more time under their supervision, I needed to be with people I was comfortable with. People who made me feel like I wasn't alone in all this.
By the time I had gotten settled in, it was later in the evening. My state of being, with a broken leg, having to hobble around on crutches wasn't ideal, but I managed to somehow make it up two flights of stairs into the bedroom at the top.
Hiro and Cass were very kind and very helpful to me, making me feel at home there. Normally I felt as though the place was more of a home to me than my real one, but for some reason, it didn't feel the same now.
As I started getting ready for bed, I casually opened one of Tadashi's drawers, pulling out a shirt and holding it close. I breathed in the scent, suddenly having a feeling of him swarm around me. I immediately felt at home in the small upstairs room again.
The feeling of home didn't come from the place, but from him. He felt like home. He was my home.
"Y/n?" Hiro brought me out of my haze, and I flipped around, seeing him stand with a hunched over form as he looked at me sadly. "Could you grab me one too?"
My gaze softened and I nodded, reaching back in and drawing another shirt from the drawer and handing it to Hiro.
"How's your leg?" He asked, sitting down on the edge of Tadashi's bed. He didn't even bother to take off the shirt he was wearing, he just pulled the other one over his head on top of it.
"It's okay... I don't really feel anything." I admitted. I closed the drawer and sat down on the bed by Hiro. "I think I'm probably just hyped up on those pain meds."
"Maybe... here, I'll let you change." He got up from the bed and walked across the room to the separation point before drawing the shade.
"Thanks Hiro..."
As soon as I had gotten that shirt on, I instantly felt the warmth of the person it belonged to. It made me realize just how often I took his hugs for granted, because I would break my other leg just to be in his arms right now.
I hobbled over to the shade, careful not to bang my boot around on anything as it dragged behind me. I nearly slipped when trying to pull the thin wall-like structure to the side, but managed to maintain balance.
"Hey, would you mind if I came over and laid there for a while?" Hiro approached the corner of the room and glanced at the bed.
After losing both his loving parents when he was a little kid, the thought of loosing his big brother must be terrible for him, and I can't even imagine it... or can I?
"I never mind..." I nodded him over, sitting on the edge of the bed as he snuggled against one of the pillows by the headboard.
I laid back into the middle of the bed, grabbing my phone from falling off the edge. I opened it, seeing that I had about thirty notifications from snapchat alone.
I only opened two of them, realizing they were condolence messages. I appreciated the support, but I was going to need some time before I was able to respond to these people. Some of them I barely knew, but they had apparently heard about the incident as well.
I swiped to the main screen and tried to hit my home button, but accidentally made my snap memories pop up. I didn't close it right away, and scrolled down a bit, seeing a video that made me smile. I tapped on the thumbnail of it, letting it take full screen.
"Try that filter..." Tadashi poked at the screen, and after his finger backed away, there were sparkles around me and a cute pair of panda ears along with a matching nose that were super imposed onto my face.
"Awe, this one makes me look cute." I trailed off, turning my head in different directions to see the filter better.
"You always look cute." Tadashi mumbled in the background. Before the video cut off, the vibrant blush on my cheeks could be seen. Thst wasn't apart of the filter.
The memory made me smile, and I saved it to my camera roll. The next ten videos or so were all from the same night, and I remembered it vividly.
Tadashi laid next to me on his bed, making me laugh tirelessly as I tried to make a cute video for my story. Every time he would do something to make me giggle and then I would try and re film it. After a while I gave up, just letting him pick different filters for me to try.
"He's in love with you, y'know..." Hiro piped up from the head of the bed, making me look up at him in disbelief.
"What?"
"Yeah... he would probably hate that I'm the one telling you and not him, but under the circumstances I think he would just want you to know."
"Hiro, are you su-?" I began to voice my disbelief but before I could, I was cut off.
"He used to tell me all the time. Minutes after you would leave. Man, getting him to shut up... took a miracle." He dragged on. He seemed to be not so entertained by the same fact that I was, but rather he was just remembering moments with his brother, who could leave this world at any minute.
"Tadashi... Loves me?" I couldn't bear the to say the past tense of the word, so I didn't. He wasn't dead, and now that I knew how he felt, I would keep up every hope for his recovery.
"If you don't believe me you can see for yourself. His love journal is right there..." he pointed a lazy finger to the desk across from the bed.
"His what?"
"Sorry, that's just what I call it. It's where he writes about you." Hiro answered, burrowing his face into the pillows once more.
I nearly reached for it on the desk, but pulled my hand back. He's still alive, and if he wants me to read it, eventually I will.
"I can't read it."
"Why not, it's about you?"
I shrugged my shoulders, pulling my legs onto the bed.
"He didn't give me permission to..."
Hiro sighed dramatically before sitting up. He rolled his eyes and left the bed, heading for his own across the room.
"You love him back, don't you?" He turned and looked over his shoulder, a slight smile gracing his lips.
"More than anything."

Tadashi ran a hand over his face in frustration, staring at his parked moped, trying to piece together a plan to find his little brother, Hiro.
“Tadashi? Is everything alright?” He slowly picked his head up as he heard the voice of Honey Lemon behind him. Should he bother the chemist with his predicament?
“Hiro’s missing, he’s out bot fighting. I have no idea where he could be. What do I do?” Tadashi confessed.
The tall blonde slowly approached Tadashi, carefully placing a hand on one of his shoulders.
“I know someone that could help. In the computer tech department? Does that help at all?”
Tadashi slowly turned around and started toward the entrance, Honey Lemon led him to the said department.
“Who’s gonna help me? And how exactly?”
Honey Lemon smiled to herself, knowing full well of the huge crush that Tadashi had on her secret helper.
“(y/n), they’re a hacker. They should be able to help us. You know them, right? Honestly, I’m kinda surprised, them being a few years younger than you and all,” Honey Lemon explained.
The blood instantly rushed to Tadashi’s ears and cheeks. He thought he was being discreet with all that staring, nothing gets past Honey Lemon.
“Um, kinda?”
She opened the door to the lab, nobody was there except for (y/n), typing an endless code onto their computer. They acknowledged a presence as Honey Lemon stepped into the large lab, her heels gave away her position immediately.
“Hey, Honey Lemon. I’ll be with you in a minute, I’m just updating my program,” (y/n) spoke without looking up. Tadashi stepped in beside Honey Lemon, watching (y/n) type for another minute before spinning on their chair to face the two. “What did you need this time?”
Honey Lemon instantly got a huge smile onto her face before she pushed Tadashi closer to the hacker.
“Actually, Tadashi has a request for you,” Honey Lemon said.
(y/n) raised an eyebrow and stared at Tadashi, marveling at the amount of red on his face.
“I-I need to track my little brother’s phone because he went to another bot fight…” (y/n) nodded lightly, beckoning him closer.
“Don’t worry, that’s an easy one. Can you give me Hiro’s number?” (y/n) asked.
Tadashi sat next to (y/n), ready to recite the number.
“(Hiro’s number), will this take long? I don’t know what kind of trouble he could be in by now,” Tadashi worried.
(y/n) turned to the monitor, typing in the number they were given by Tadashi.
“Okay, got him. He’s in the south side of town, about 10 miles from here. Is that all you need, Tadashi?” The tech student swallowed nervously, Honey Lemon and (y/n) stared at him intensely. The way they said his name was--
“I-” Honey Lemon stepped forward, placing a hand on one of Tadashi’s shoulders.
“--Actually, Tadashi was wondering if you wanted to come with him. You’re all done here aren’t you?”
Tadashi stared at Honey Lemon in shock, wondering what she was doing. (y/n) took a small peak at her monitor before shutting it down.
“Sure, I’m done, it’s late, and I’m bored… So, why not?” (y/n) reassured.
Tadashi stood still for a few moments, not saying anything until Honey Lemon took a step backward.
“Okay, I have some things of my own to-do. You two have fun!” Honey Lemon yelled out.
Tadashi looked after his friend, not knowing that he was going to be left alone with his crush for an unknown amount of time. Honey Lemon quickly left the lab before Tadashi could call her back in or stop her.
(y/n) grabbed their bag and slung it over their shoulders before they looked at Tadashi expectantly.
“Okay, I’m ready. You coming, or should I just hot wire your bike myself?” His face flared up even more at the statement, if possible. He quickly shot himself out of his chair, keys in hand.
“Y-yeah. Come on,” He cleared his throat, not wanting to look so frazzled in front of someone he liked.
“Does this kind of thing happen often?” (y/n) asked, curious.
Tadashi groaned, climbing onto his moped before urging (y/n) to do the same.
“More than I would like,” Tadashi groaned.
Tadashi felt his heart flutter and flip as (y/n) hesitantly wrapped their arms around his middle, not quite sure how to hold on to him.
“Is this okay? I’ve never ridden something like this before,” (y/n) asked nervously.
Tadashi smiled slightly, noting the flustered tone in their voice. He slowly grabbed their hands, locking them into place with each other and tightening their loose grip around his torso.
“Are you okay? You need to be tight against me or else you might go flying off,” Tadashi asked.
Tadashi felt his heart melt as (y/n) slid themself closer to Tadashi to not fly off as he instructed. He started the moped and followed (y/n) directions on the road.
“So why did you ask me to come along? We don’t really talk outside of the school,” (y/n) asked.
The 18-year-old tried to come up with a plausible explanation, “I don’t know, I guess I’ve just been trying to come up with an excuse to talk to you. You’re really intelligent and pretty, and just amazing.”
The younger student didn’t know what to say, they glanced to the side at all the buildings passing by, all the lights and beautiful colors.
“Take another right, my phone says your brother should be here,” (y/n) instructed.
Tadashi glanced away from (y/N) to see Hiro running away from some shady looking people.
“Hiro!”
The younger Hamada jumped onto his brother’s moped, no questions asked. Tadashi rushed away from the scene of the crime, (y/n) gripped onto his waist and Hiro to (y/n)’s shoulders; neither wanting to fly off.
“Hey, (y/n). What are you two doing here?” Hiro directed to (y/n).
(y/n) gave him a small shrug, talking to Hiro instead of Tadashi.
“Your brother asked me to come. Hey, did you understand number 5 for the programming assignment?” (y/n) asked in reply.
“Oh, that one took me a while. I can--” Tadashi took a sharp left turn before appearing in front of the lucky cat café.
“Would you two zip it?! Okay, we’re here,” Tadashi yelled.
Hiro jumped off with ease, as did Tadashi. But (y/n) almost fell over, but the eldest Hamada caught them luckily.
“Sorry,” They mumbled. He smiled lightly and helped them steady their footing on the ground.
“Jelly legs?” Tadashi teased.
(y/n) only nodded before they took off the helmet, their hair going everywhere. Tadashi stifled a laugh before pulling off his own helmet. Hiro went inside, not wanting to get lectured by his older brother.
“Is it that bad?” They asked.
Tadashi set both helmets to the side before he placed his hands on their head, smoothing their hair back to normal.
“Just a bit,” Tadashi answered, laughing to himself.
(y/n) turned away from the Lucky cat café, knowing how late it was and that they should head home. Rain slowly started to fall from the sky, drenching (y/n) as they were outside the cover of the bakery.
“You wanna come in for a bit? Just until the rain stops? And maybe warm you up?” Tadashi offered.
(y/n) wiped the excess water from their skin and smiled up at Tadashi.
“I’d like that.”
