A cry for help
Summary: After witch hunters attack you, you find your way into the Spellman family.
Relationships: Zelda Spellman x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
You don't know how long you've been running but you know you've gotten far from your attackers. "You're a witch! Witches should be burned!" The male hunter takes a swipe at you with his knife, and you duck out of the way. The female attacker joined and pretty soon both hunters have you cornered against a tree. You only had a second to think or it's all over-
without thinking, you kicked the guy in the family jewels. Bending over in pain, holding himself he yelled out loudly. "You stupid bitch! We'll find you. You won't get far!"
That must've been hours ago now.
You hug yourself trying to warm up from the cold but to no use. The sounds of wolves howling fill the woods and you jump, tears stain your cheeks. You know your mascara is smeared and look a hot mess. Laughing to yourself, you spot a good looking area to hang out for tonight and run to it. Making a hole not too deep in the ground, you gather little wood shards and place them in and rub your fingers together, “Incendio.” You say. The wood shards alight with fire and you let out a sigh of relief immediately putting your cold fingers over the fire. Over time the fire grew and your heart slowed. Fatigue and exhaustion taking over.
Tickle tickle.
You go to brush off the leaf that’s on your face and go back to sleep but immediately feel it again.
“What the-” you fully open your eyes and see a man there with his finger close to you.
“What the fuck! Who are you?” You start to back up.
“Wait-wait-hi! My name is Ambrose, I’m not going to hurt you,” Ambrose looks you over and you see sympathy in his eyes. “come with me. I’ll take you somewhere safe, away from them.”
Them? There is another question at hand.
“If you’re wondering, I am too a witch. Everyone is.” Ambrose gets closer and you flinch. He assures you he won’t hurt you and you let him grab you and bring you close to him. The both of you reach a road and across you see a giant mansion with what seems to have a cemetery. I’m going to die for sure.
“We’re almost there. You’re doing fine.” Making it to the house, he guides you up the stairs and grabs his keys from his pocket. Opening the door he lets you in and take a look around the giant house. “This is huge,” you look at the wallpaper and art on the walls and can tell an elderly woman lives here. Maybe a grandmother. “Thank you, my aunts have an eye don’t they?” Ambrose goes over to the stairs that open up into two. “Aunties! Sabrina!” You jump from his shouting and try to regain yourself. “Shit.”
Footsteps come from upstairs and seconds you see two older women, you assume to be the aunts and a young girl, maybe the girlfriend come down. “Aunts, Sabrina this is…what’s your name again?”
“Y/N.”
“Y/N, and she needs our help. She was attacked yesterday by witch hunters-”
“Oh! You poor thing. Are you okay?” The shorter woman came from behind the taller one and grabs your hands keeping eye contact. “Do you have family around here?” You shake your head. “She can stay here for as long as she needs,” You look at the older woman and was mesmerized. Her ginger hair was curled over her shoulders and the outfit she was wearing, a green blouse tucked inside a black ankle length skirt had you in a gaze.
“Oh shoot- we didn’t tell you our names! I’m Sabrina, his cousin, and these are our aunts. Aunt Zelda and aunt Hilda.” Hilda waved joyfully and Zelda gave you a pleasing look. You nervously wave.
“You poor thing. Come-let me show you to your room.”

Summary: You are but a mortal friend of the Spellman's, working with Hilda in her shop as you become off interest to the Weird sisters and one wicked boy. They find it funny to scare you till it gets out of hand and you get hurt. Afraid and frightend you run to the Spellman's because you are too scared to be alone. Ambrose comforts you and considers to tell you magic is real and how he feels about you.
Tumblr media
“Ambrose.” – you called out as he was blocking your way in the small row between shelves. He chuckled leaning with his arm on top of the shelves. – “I’m just standing here.” – he answered smiley. – “Yes in my way.” – you laughed out picking a book from the few books you were carrying. With a small novel you hit Ambrose against his shoulder. It startled him making him flinch. – “You know how much your aunt hates you slouching against her books.” – you said teasingly. Ambrose smiled sheepishly, rubbing his arm as you moved past him. You went to the next row to set the books you were carrying away. Noticing Ambrose had followed you. – “Shouldn’t you be at home helping your aunt Zelda?” – you questioned.
Ambrose pulled his shoulders up. – “Maybe?” – he replied mischievous. – “Wait till your aunt Hilda sees you here.” – you joked out. – “Alright, alright you sure can pester one way.” – Ambrose answered bothered as it made you laugh loud. – “Now go.” – you said slapping another book playfully at him. Ambrose moved his hands up, backing out of the row. – “Go.” – you mouthed laughable to him, seeing him linger. Looking over your shoulder you looked to see if Hilda was coming out of the back door or not. Ambrose exited with a grand gesture making you laugh loud. You kept laughing till you heard Hilda’s footsteps. She had come out of the back area carrying a box.
“Was.. was that Ambrose?” – she questioned seeing the last of a shim disappear into the night. – “Sure not, Ambrose is at home as he is supposed to.” – you told her with a cheeky smile. Aunt Hilda quirked her eyebrow up but was gullible enough to believe you. – “I’m just going to set this box away and we can start locking up for tonight.” – Hilda spoke showing the box your way. You hummed loud in response. Hilda left as you continued to stock the few remaining books away in your hand. On top of a shelf laid pumpkin lights as you smiled upon them. You blinked confused seeing a pumpkin light flicker. It was so briefly you weren’t sure if it was a trick of the eye or true. The lights appearing normal now. Leaning in closer you stared at the pumpkin light.
From the corner of your eye, you saw another pumpkin light flicker. Turning your head you saw it flicker clear as day. More lights started to flicker making you be stunned at bit, not knowing what to do. Then the flickering stopped, all the lights turned off from itself. Curious and confused you leaned closer once more, pointing your finger out to tap the light. The moment your finger touched the light you saw a scarier face appear on the light. It had scared you so much you dropped the book in your hand, jumping back against the bookcase behind you.
“Everything alright Y/n?” – Hilda asked lifting her head up from across the shop near the window. Looking back at the lights, they were normal again. – “Yes… everything is alright.” – you answered to pick up the fallen book. You quickly put it away. Meeting up with Hilda, you said your goodbye’s. – “See you tomorrow Y/n.” – she spoke giving you a hug. – “Happy spooky season.” – you called back to her, waving your goodbyes, knowing how much Hilda loved the spooky season of October. Only a few days till it would Halloween.
A cold breeze would creep up on you once you were outside. Leaves dancing in circles on the ground carried by the wind’s orchestra. Looking up to the night sky you saw a crescent moon. You started walking home in the dark of night. The trees rustling as a breeze swept underneath your coat sending your scarf up. It caught you off guard making you turn a bit around as if someone had touched you without permission. Your eyes went slowly up seeing a figure stand at the end of the street. Lighted up by a streetlight. It came you the chills. A loud scream carried away by the wind made you cover up your ears and duck down. Looking back up the shadow was gone. Panting and frightened you turned around only to be met up with the shadow.
You screamed your lungs out, swaying your arms around and take a run for it. You started running for your life, wondering if you had seen too many scary movies last night with Sabrina, Theo, Harvie and Rosie. That must be it. Your mind was still thinking about the scary movies you had seen. A dog barked loud making you jump away, picking up more speed to hurry up home. Out of breath you reached your house, hurrying to get the keys. Panicking his much you dropped them.
Scrambling to get them, your hand shook as you tried to stick the key in the keyhole. With one last scream of feeling rushed, you opened the door jumping inside. Without looking back, you shut the door behind you. Locking it immediately. Switching on the lights you felt more at ease. You jumped out of your skin seeing three girls in your living room. One of them sitting down, the other two sitting each on a side. – “Well hello mortal.” – the one in the middle purred out while checking out her nails.
“Who are you?” – you asked loudly. – “What are you doing in my house!” – The girl that sat clicked her tongue swaying her finger to the side. – “We’re but friends mortal.” – she slowly got up. – “Shall we play a game?” – she asked not expecting an answer from you. – “This one is called.” – the redhead on her left said. – “Hide and scream.” – the black-haired girl on her right filled in. With the snap of a finger went the power off. You squealed loud at the sudden darkness. – “Now run!” – A loud whisper filled your ears coming from behind. Lightning stuck all of the sudden, lighting up the room. You screamed loud seeing that the girl’s faces had become horrifying. Almost demonic. You started running for your life up the stairs. Hearing their loud giggling and cackling surround you.
You ran into your bedroom, shutting the door behind you. – “Oh mortal let us in.” – one of them spoke, knocking gently on your door. Covering your mouth to silence your breathing, you backed away. – “We only want to play.” – one of the other spoke. You backed up against your bed as it startled you. A sudden grip around your ankle made your eyes widen. Before you could utter a scream you got pulled at your ankle.
Falling flat forwards, your face smacking hard against the ground. Looking over your shoulder you saw a boy hide underneath your bed. His face half caught by a shadow. His wicked smile reflecting against the darkness. You screamed it out, kicking your feet at him. What is going on? You thought. Rushing up to your feet, you wanted to run for your door, remembering in the last second that those three girls were just outside.
The boy came crawling from under your bed. Your eyes stood wide with fright, pressed against the door. He started to rise his hands as fire light up from your flooring. Forming a circle around you. You screamed it out as he could only laugh. What kind of witchcraft was this? Your head was spinning trying to process the magic just happening in your room while trying to deal with the fear. – “Leave me alone!” – you called out to him. He pouted his lips. – “But we were just making fun.” – he slashed his hand down as it made your head turn with a gasp. Feeling a sting on your cheek.
With trembling hands you went to touch it. Fingers stained with blood when you looked at them. He had left a cut on your cheek. – “You’re the devil!” – you called out. – “Oh honey I assure you I’m not. I am merely a child of night.” – he answered with a grin. Not wanting stay here with him, you jumped over the fires to the back of your room. – “Oh we got a runner.” – The boy called out swiping his hand across. A force picking you up as you got flung out of the window. Glass shattering as you crashed through it. You fell onto the lower roof part of your porch, rolling over it to drop to the ground, landing in a bush.
Groaning loud you got up seeing the cuts all over your arms and legs. You got up, running for your life. Limping at bit from the fall as you didn’t want to be home alone anymore. The boy was watching you run from up your room. The three girls coming to stand beside him. – “Great you’ve chased her away.” – Dorcas said slapping his arm. Agatha sighed loud. – “Ambrose would be furious if he finds out we scared his little mortal friend.” – she spoke making Prudence roll her eyes.
“I do not care one bit for that Spellman. He should know better than to mingle with lame mortals.” – Prudence chuckled deep. – “Shame I couldn’t make her bleed more.” – the boy said with a shrug of his shoulder. Dorcas and Agatha quirking their eyebrow at him. – “We don’t want her dead you moron! We just want her scared.” – Dorcas called out. The boy rolled with his eyes not caring much.
“Ambrose!” – you shouted loud. Huffing and puffing out of breath as you reached the Spellman’s house. – “Ambrose!” – you shouted again running up the porch. – “Ambrose! Ambrose please open up!” – you panicked banging loudly at their door. The door opened as you exhaled deep pushing yourself inside, not wanting to be one minute longer in the dark. – “Y/n what are you doing here?” – Sabrina asked as she had opened the door. – “I…I…” – you tried to speak. – “What happened?” – Sabrina wanted to know as Ambrose came down the stairs. – “Y/n?” – he said widening his eyes at the cuts on your body.
“What happened!” – Ambrose demanded to know, rushing up to you. – “I…I…I fell out of my window.” – you told him still catching your breath. – “What?” – Sabrina called out. Ambrose stared confused and slightly worried at you. Sabrina pulled her shoulders up as she had no clue as well. – “Come.” – Ambrose said wrapping his arm around you to lead you upstairs. Sabrina closed the door giving her cousin one last worried glance. Upstairs seated Ambrose you down on his bed. – “Now Y/n tell me what happened. How did you get these cuts?” – he spoke worriedly.
You looked frightened at him. – “There were these girls in my house.” – you told him. – “Girls?” – Ambrose repeated confused. – “Three of them. Demanding to play a game with me. All the lights went out!” – you panicked explaining your story to him. – “Then upstairs in my room was a boy, hiding under my bed. Fire! Ambrose there was fire!” – you grasped for his hand, startling him with your sudden loud voice. – “Fire?” – he questioned. – “Yes. Poof fire.” – you gestured out. – “It was like he created it out of thin air.” – you said as Ambrose’s eyes widened. – “He gave me this cut without touching me.” – you showed your cheek to Ambrose to show him.
“When I wanted to run I got thrown out of the window by a force. Leading to my appearance.” – Exhaling deep you felt yourself slowly come at ease. – “Darn witches.” – Ambrose mumbled under his breath. – “Huh?” – you said hearing a whiff of his words. Ambrose chuckled nervously. – “Have I gone crazy, or did they do magic?” – you asked to be certain you weren’t losing your mind. Ambrose slightly nodded, not wanting you to feel insane. He carefully watched your reaction trying to see if it was perhaps a good idea to tell you he was a witch as well. – “Okay…” – you replied neutral not sure how to react to it.
“Why… why would they taunt me? Is it because it is almost Halloween?” – you slapped Ambrose his hand out of pure over-reaction. Ambrose shook his head. – “It is because you are with me.” – he told you making you furrow your brows. – “Why would they do that?” – you wanted to know. Ambrose took a deep breath pulling you closer to him by your shoulders. – “Y/n I’m going to tell you something and I hope this doesn’t change anything… or at least maybe a bit.” -  he started.
“Ambrose you are scaring me a bit.” – you answered. – “Don’t be.” – he made sure. He took another deep breath before speaking. – “I am like them. I am also a witch, so is Sarbina and my aunties.” – your mouth fell open with shock. – “But I assure you we mean you no harm Y/n. We aren’t all bad, besides we adore you. Specially me… I…I…like…no love you Y/n. That… that is why the weird sisters, and that boy tormented you. It is because they can see I care for you, and I am so sorry for that.” – he finished.
You slowly smiled kissing Ambrose by surprise. Ambrose pulled startled away. – “I’m not scared anymore, knowing you won’t let anything happen to me.” – you told him. Ambrose nodded still trying to process the surprise kiss. – “Also I like…no love you too Ambrose. I just didn’t think you saw me in that way.” – Ambrose laughed loud, grabbing a hold of you to kiss you. This time longer and deeper. – “I promise you no harm will ever come to you.”

Background info [ You and Nick have been best friends since he was a kid you guys looked out for each other since the day you guys 1st met. When Sabrina Joined The academy things between you too became complicated as Nick was turning into and asshole and becoming distant]
Tumblr media
"What now Nickolas you're gonna run off to Sabrina" Y/n says as she gets up from Nickolas bed.He turns around fixing the sleeves of his leather jacket with anger in his eyes his gaze sending goosebumps down you back.
"Unlike you Sabrina loves me" he says as he gets closer to were you standing.
His words finally make you release all the anger and jealousy that have build over time since the Spellman family has become more involved with the coven.
"Oh really Nickolas Scratch cause I don't remember Sabrina being the ones to clean your wounds after the bar fights, YOU would start a Dorians, I don't remember Sabrina being the person to take care of you when you almost DIED trying to conjour a demon, or even being there to help you get away from Amalia." Y/n pushes a strand of hair out of her face now not realizing with every sentence she had come closer to Nick.
They're body's almost touching and both of their hearts racing with anger written all over their face.
Y/n gets on her tippy toes close enough for their to be tension between their noses. Whispering "Would a person that hates you do all of that for you?"
"Scratch you fail to see I how much I really love you" Y/n steps back looking into Nickolas eyes his eyes filled with regret of his word choices not knowing how to respond, not knowing how to admit that he loves you too.

“Ambrose, what are you up to?” You asked suspiciously. You were heading off with a parcel for one of his aunts and had found him squirrelled away in one room. He looked up at you and grinned.
“Nothing to worry about.” His answer was quick and he immediately went back to his work after glancing at you. Deciding that it would probably be best to have some plausible deniability you hurried off and delivered the parcel.
“Oh thank you!” Hilda said when she saw you. She gave you a small package of handmade food and asked if you wouldn’t mind going back to Ambrose and delivering a food parcel and a box of ingredients. You agreed and headed back to find Ambrose. Though when you searched the Spellman house you couldn’t find anyone. There was a rather large and irritable black cat you hadn’t seen before which you patted on the head as you sat in the living room for a moment and tried to think where Ambrose could be.
“Do you know where he is?” You asked the cat who meowed deeply and stared at you. Blinking a few times and then looking closer you stared at the cat who cleared its throat.
“Look. I might have been doing something I shouldn’t have been.” Ambrose. The cat. Said. You screamed and threw a cushion at the cat who flopped off the end of the sofa and lay on its back. Sabrina ran in with Zelda close behind.
“What is it?” Zelda asked. She was already having a trying day with Sabrina and had hoped you and Ambrose would avoid getting into some kind of nonsense.
"Ambrose has been turned into a cat. I don’t know how." You answered and pointed at the cat who slithered out from under the cushion.
“It’s true.” He said defeatedly. Zelda stared at him and then tutted.
“Well don’t think you’re going to have a cat tree in my living room.” She turned on her heels and dragged Sabrina from the room. “We shall deal with you tomorrow.”
“What do we do?” You asked her. She paused in the doorway of the room and sighed.
“Perhaps Hilda has a book on cat care.” She offered and left with Sabrina. You looked down at Ambrose who was staring at his leg.
“Don’t lick yourself!” You groaned.
“I’ll do my best but it’s rather tempting.” Ambrose said quickly.

The Weird Sisters x Fem!Spellman Reader: Six Pills
Summary: You are Sabrina's older sister and instead of Sabrina being the one refusing to sign her name and being the cause of the events afterwards, it's you instead. Set a few months after the Church of Lilith has been established, you haven't been doing too well and with how busy your family has been in cleaning your messes, you mainly tried to stay out of trouble and avoid everyone as much as you could, wandering around the woods and backroads of Greendale...and on one occasion you meet a kind stranger...with less than noble intentions when he offers you something to help with the pain...
Warning: Drug Addiction, Withdrawal Symptoms, Allusions to Character Death (Not really you're just unconscious)
You stared up at the ceiling of the infirmary of the Academy of Unseen Arts, eyes unseeing as you lay down in one of the beds, barely registering the sounds of frantic arguing and panicked questions fluttering around you as you heard your Aunts, Ambrose, Nick and Lilith and the Weird Sisters talking loudly trying to figure out what was wrong with you, the Sister's having found you collapsed in the entrance hall of the school, unconscious and shivering.
Sabrina was holding onto your left hand tightly, and you felt her eyes on you, counting your breaths, assuring herself you were still breathing, you could hear the frustration in your Aunt Zelda’s voice but also the fear as she just didn’t know what was wrong nor did your Aunt Hilda or Ambrose or any of those surrounding your bed.
You couldn’t help but relish having your Aunts, older cousin/brother and your sister near you, though the fact Prudence, Agatha and Dorcas were also present made your heart flutter which was the sodding reason why you were in this mess in the first place. Your head turned to the side and then you spotted that damned bottle filled with those damn pills that left you reduced to this, someone had taken it out of your pockets as you were laid down on the bed.
You struggled to sit up, catching your head in your hands making the others snap in your direction as they watched for a moment as your eyes darted around the room as though trying to make sense of what you were seeing. You struggled to get your thoughts straight then as though finally you had gathered the strength to explain your latest mistake once more…seemed to be the only thing you could make these days as a merciless, self-hating smile spread across your face as your broken mind pulled into being the song you had come up with on one of your...trips.
You gazed directly at Nick and urged your best friend and sister’s boyfriend to listen which he did sitting on your bed and held your free hand, urging you to use him and Sabrina as a way to anchor you to the present. And so, you sang:
“In the woods I met a man.
Old as oak and staff in hand
Sunken eyes but gentle smile
We sat down and talked awhile”.
Lilith’s eyes narrowed at the description of the man but said nothing as you continued.
“And he said I can see it in your eyes.
You've been hurt a couple times.
I've got the perfect antidote.
To cure a heart of stone
Tiny red pills in a big blue bottle”
Your Aunts and Ambrose flinched at the comment of having a heart of stone while Lilith’s eyes narrowed onto the blue bottle of pills, an uneasy feeling in her chest began building in her chest.
“He put them right in my hands.
Said this stuff can do wonders take you to Nirvana.
Make you a better man”.
You smiled mirthless, your eyes straying to Agatha, your eyes on her neck exactly where you had slit her throat and once more the guilt began building in your chest and stomach making you pull your hands out of Sabrina’s and Nick’s clutching your chest shaking your head, your eyes closed tight but you kept singing, your tone irritated in the next two lines but shifting to numb as you continued.
“I should've known something was amiss.
When I saw his smile turn to a grin
But
Then as he left me
There so perplexed
He turned and said”.
You ticked off on your fingers, your eyes opening and staring directly into Ambrose's telling him to focus on what you were about to say…
“One to numb the hurt.
Two to ease the pain.
Three to clear your mind.
Forget all the hate.
Take as I advised.
Not more than prescribed.
Several weeks ahead
You'll be fine again”.
You ticked them off on your fingers again just as the old man did for you and what you recited on your way home.
“One to numb the hurt.
Two to ease the pain.
Three to clear your mind.
Forget all the hate.
Take as I advised.
Not more than prescribed.
Several weeks ahead
You'll be fine again”.
You sighed and shook your head angrily at yourself, your drugged and messed up mind repeating that you should have shown the pills to your Aunts or Ambrose when you got home but you didn’t.
“So, I went home.
My heart confused.
Didn't know just what to do.
I popped the cap.
And took a dose.
After all what could I lose”
You shrugged, a bitter tone on the last line but lightened with the next your eyes shining with childlike innocence.
“And then I touched the clouds and bathed in sky.
A magic broom a carpet ride
Before I fell and woke in bed”
You struggled as though acting out what you did yourself on that day, finding it hard to remember what he said.
“Tried to repeat the words he said.
One to numb the hurt.
Two to ease the pain.
Three to clear my mind.
Forget all my hate.
What did he say next?
I forget the rest.
But several weeks ahead
I'll be fine again”.
You shrugged your bright usual happy smile back again at the thought of being fine making your Aunts and Ambrose flinch at the confirmation you weren’t fine, while Sabrina and Nick tightened their hold on your hands. The Sister's reaction however shocked you as Dorcas had visible tears in her eyes though they didn’t fall while the tightness around Agatha’s eyes and her clenched fists said plenty, Prudence’s eyes were filled with protective rage and promise of vengeance on the one who made you like this, as her lips tightened near turning them white even through her dark lipstick.
“One to numb the hurt.
Two to ease the pain.
Three to clear my mind.
Forget all my hate.
Five could never hurt.
Just to calm my nerves
Several weeks ahead
I'll be fine again”.
You scratched your head looking up as you tried to remember the number of pills the man said you should take but shrugged as if it didn’t matter and continued, your expression going dark and you pulled a knee to your chest.
“Tiny red pills in a big blue bottle
Wish I had the strength back then.
Need to get a refill chase away the evil
All the whispers in my head”
You shook your head once more, your hands going to your ears as you shook it again as though trying to make the whispers going away.
“But I can't find the man I knocked on his door.
His neighbours say no one lived there before.
So now all my days
Just blur in a haze
They go like this”.
You sat back in despair, perplexed at the fact the man didn’t exist but merely confirming Lilith’s suspicions but she waited till the end just to be sure.
“One to stop the chills"
Your body broke out into chills.
"Two to ease the pain."
You clutched at your chest, the pain and guilt surging through your body.
"Three to wash my guilt.
Forget all my shame."
You flashback through everything, you’d done that put your family and the girls you loved in danger all because you couldn’t leave well enough alone.
"Five could never hurt.
Six couldn't be worse.
Seven days it's been.
Here we go again”.
Your eyes darted everywhere before zeroing in on that blue bottle and you sprang for it only to be caught by Ambrose and Nick as they held you up while you struggled to try to get to the bottle needing the words and murmurs in your head to quiet down all the while you sang desperately.
“One to stop the chills”.
Your body once more broke into chills.
“Two to ease the pain”.
You clutched your chest above your heart.
“Three to wash my guilt”.
“Forget all my shame”.
Your eyes darted to Agatha again, hers, Prudence and Dorcas eyes widening along with Ambrose, Nick’s and Sabrina’s as they realised what you were referring to.
“Five could never hurt.
Six couldn't be worse.
Seven days it's been”.
Tears began tracking down your face a broken smile on it as you doubled over once more the two boys picking you up and laying you on your bed as they all watched in suffering as your activeness wore you down you murmured the last few words.
“Here we go again.
Here we go again.
Here we go again.
Oh
To stop the pain
Forget my shame.
Ah”
Your head rested on a pillow your eyes connecting with each person as you counted.
One
Aunt Zelda and Lilith
Two
Aunt Hilda
Three
Ambrose
Four
Nicholas
Five
Sabrina
Six
With the last number, your eyes met the Sisters, a small sweet smile on your face as you somehow gazed into the three of them at once your view began to darken and as everything faded to black you barely managed to get out the last three words:…. “I love you”.

What about a Zelda Spellman x reader where the reader has a panic attack?
Hi!
What a soft idea ! Xx
Not my best work, but it’ll do :)
(Ops ! Gif isn’t mine !)
Tumblr media
“Sabrina, thank Beelzebub, I need you.”
Zelda said in relief as she saw Sabrina make her way through the front door.
“For what?” Sabrina asked.
“I’ve got Y/N downstairs on the verge of hysteria, and your aunt Hilda is at that ridiculous bookstore, but I’ve got a pot of her calming tea on the stove. Fetch it and come down.” Zelda said before disappearing down to the basement. Sabrina’s brows knitted themselves in confusion for a short moment before doing what she’d been told. Carrying the pot slowly downstairs, careful not to fall on the slim steps of the rounded staircase. When she reached the last step, she acknowledged what was happening in front of her. You were rambling all kinds of words, trying to fight off Zelda’s grip on your arms. You were crying, although it was as if you were more in shock than fear.
“Tranquil thoughts, my dear, you’re fine.”
“I-I can’t breathe. I just-I don’t understand what happened. Was it my fault?” Your voice was quiet. Trembling.
“Nonsense. Sabrina, pour the tea.” Zelda replied.
“Already poured, Aunt Zee,” Sabrina said as she handed the cup to her aunt. You looked down at the cup as Sabrina handed it over to Zelda.
“It’s not poison, is it?”
“Of course not. It’s chamomile with a calming tincture. Drink up.” Zelda said with a soft chuckle as she gave you the cup. You looked at her again before, you began to drink.
“Finish every drop, that’s a good girl,” Zelda said with a whisper. You handed her the cup once you’d finished the tea. Your hands were shaking.
“What’s happening? What’s wrong with me?” You asked her. Silent tears making their way down your cheeks. Zelda lifted your chin with her finger and made you look at her. Cubbing both your cheeks with her hands. “Your blood pressure is abnormally high. You’re having a panic attack.” You placed your own hands-on top of Zelda’s and looked into her forest green eyes, feeling Hilda’s calming tea taking effect. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath. You felt Zelda press a soft kiss on your forehead.
“There we go. Just keep breathing.”
You felt Zelda move away from you only to feel a blanket being wrapped around you. You opened your eyes and saw Zelda wrapping you in the blanket and Sabrina sitting next to you.
“What happened auntie?”
“Sabrina, for Lucifer’s sake, give her some space.”
“There is nothing wrong with wanting to know what happened to her, aunt Zee,” Sabrina said in defence. The two continued to bicker as you slowly calmed down. It was almost amusing watching them. They would bicker about the most out of matter things sometimes. Zelda’s head snapped in your direction and your small smile disappeared.
“Well? What happened?
You started fumbling with your hands. “It was nothing.”
“I’ve known you all my life auntie Y/N, and I’ve never seen you like this. There must have been something that would have made you this sad.”
“I agree with Sabrina, Y/N. What’s going on inside that head of yours?”
You wiped your nose with the shelve of your shirt. Sabrina handed you a napkin. You took it and gave her a small smile and a whispered ‘thank you.
“Well, I was at the bookstore- “
“You were at the bookstore when this happened?! In Satan’s name, what was Hilda so busy with to not notice- “
“Zelda, you cannot blame your sister for this. She is not my keeper.”
“No, but she certainly has responsibilities! Sabrina where did you put my shovel?”
You rolled your eyes at Zelda before grabbing her hand and squeezing it. “Promise me you won’t kill her?”
Zelda gave you a sceptical look. “Fine.” She gave your hand a soft squeeze herself as reassurance. Sabrina watched the gesture with a smile. She wrapped her arms around you and gave you a tight hug. “I’m glad you’re feeling better auntie.” You smiled down at your niece and returned the hug. You looked up and meet with those forest green eyes again. Zelda couldn’t deny the small smile forming on her lips from seeing two of her favourite girls curled together. It was the simple things in life that gave her peace. Even if it was dealing with Sabrina’s troublemaking or a cry or two. It was home.

A cry for help CH 3
Summary: It’s a boring day at the mortuary.
Tumblr media
Zelda Spellman x Fem!Reader
A/N: Again, if any grammar mistakes I apologize.
Looking out the kitchen window, you watch Sabrina and her friends along with a couple of academy students hang about talking and catching up on their lives. After all it was a Friday, but for you it was just a regular day. Boring day, at that fact.
“Why don’t you go out there, love?” Hilda asks. “Make some new friends.” You shrug, still looking out. “I don’t know, it’s just I’m not a part of them so it’ll feel weird…forget it.” Turning away from the window, you look at what Hilda is doing and see her grabbing fresh lemons, “Need help?” You start to grab the lemons and grab the cutting board. “Oh, thank you dear. Nice slices,” She instructions. You hear high heels coming towards the kitchen and a second later Zelda appears in view.
“What are you two up to?”
“Making lemonade for the kids. Want to help?” Hilda holds up a lemon to Zelda, who makes a face in return. “I’ll pass. I actually want to talk to Y/N for a second. Do you have a second?” You stop what you’re doing and look up. “Oh, okay.” Grabbing the lemon and knife from you, Hilda waves you off towards Zelda. “Off you go, dear.”
Following Zelda into the living room you watch her grab two brandy glasses from her stash she has in the middle of the hallway and pour herself and you a drink. Walking back to you she holds out the now half full glass. “Come. Sit.” You follow and sit across from her in the chair. She sits down and places her feet on the little foot rest she has. “So, what did you want to talk about?”
“I actually want to tell you that I admire you, you came a long way in such a short time. I knew witches who went through what you did and they would keep it with them for weeks, sometimes years, but you-you are different,” You feel a blush spread across your cheeks. Zelda raises her glass to her lips and takes a sip and you do the same before looking at the fire that is behind you. From the corner of your eye you see Zelda lean forward towards you which brings your attention back to her and she leans in with a look in her eyes.
“You are a remarkable woman, Y/n. Truly,” This time you didn’t break eye contact with her. You glance down at her lips that part slightly and your mouth goes dry-
“Aunties!”
Sabrina’s voice sounds from the entrance, along with her friends. Quickly pulling apart and standing, you place your glass down and Zelda stays sitting, calm. Hilda comes out of the kitchen with fresh lemonade and the teens run up and each take one. “I should go wash up for work tomorrow. It was nice talking to you Zelda. Maybe we should…do it again sometime?” The ginger nods. “Anytime.” With that you wave at Sabrina and everyone and make your exit to your room.
“What were you and Y/N talking about?” Hilda asks handing out cups.
“Nothing of importance to you, sister,” Zelda responds, getting up, annoyance in her voice. She walks past Hilda and grabs a cup for herself.

Return to Greendale
Zelda Spellman x fem reader
Here is a small snippet of a much longer fic I posted on AO3 a while ago, but in case you're not familiar...
Summary: Takes place in the immediate aftermath of Sabrina's death, the reader returs to Greendale and Zelda after decades apart. Full fic available here:
https://archiveofourown.org/works/31503407
A/N: reader (you) is referred to as Vera, I found it a bit simpler that way, in this long fic.
First time I’m writing on Tumblr🫣
_____________________
Something odd was going on in your mind, flashes of memories from years past flooded your attention as you stepped into the Academy. It was as though you were a mere student again, late for class and planning mischief with Zelda. The sentimental moment passed quickly as you laid eyes on the statue of a young girl. Without knowing what exactly had happened here, you felt it. Evil had passed these corridors, lived in these walls. More frightening than Satan himself, a darkness, an emptiness that left nothing behind. You shuddered, goosebumps trickling your skin.
You came to a halt, regarding the statue once more. The room was lit by hundreds of candles, providing warmth on this sad day. The last time you had set foot in the halls of the Academy, nearly two decades ago, the foreboding eyes of the Dark Lord had stared down at you. A sinking feeling settled in your stomach, as your eyes travelled away from the statue, falling upon the woman with glorious auburn locks.
She stood beside her sister, speaking in a hushed tone, “She looks beautiful, doesn’t she, Hildie?”  Zelda was unmistakable where she stood, gazing up at the stone girl. She did not move, not noticing you only a few paces away. You stood frozen, listening to their conversation, your intuition telling you to let this pass uninterrupted.
“Yep.” A pause, “she really does.” Hilda whispered, seemingly unable to find words. A heavy silence filled the large space, and you noticed Hilda turning slightly towards her sister, hesitating, “Zelds, I… Uh- was thinking that Doctor Cee and I, um, we’ll probably just move back into the Mortuary. Because we Spellmans should stick together, I think.” She let out a strangled breath, moving her gaze to the statue once more.
Zelda regarded her for a moment, “All right.”
“Good.”
“If you think so.” Zelda’s eyes remained locked on her sister, hands folded tightly in front of her as she stood, “Why?” she whispered then, a tortured look crossing her face, one that caused your heart to clench in sympathy. Zelda’s hands came up to cover her face as a sob escaped her, “Why did you not preserve her, Dark Mother?” she looked upon the statue of Hecate, a fire of blame in her eyes.
Hilda struggled to remain composed, mumbling her agreement, “I don’t know.”
“It’s not right, Hilda. It’s just not right that she’s gone!”
“No.”
Even seeing her like this, shoulders hunched forward, only her auburn hair to identify her, she evoked every warm and tingling feeling in you, your heart skipping a beat. It was excitement at being close to her again, to know you were about to reach her, fingers touching her skin. It was a dream, yet it was a nightmare. For the one fleeting moment of happiness, there was a darkness looming in return. It was a prominent mist swallowing the light, and you were powerless to it. You could only let yourself be consumed and hope you would find the air to breath. This was the waking nightmare that was watching Zelda in her despair. You allowed yourself this moment, to feel the horror of your love. But it could not be lingering, you had to sustain it for Zelda. Searching within yourself, you pulled at your inner strength, pushing aside your own feelings. This time, you would be everything Zelda needed, even if it killed you.
Swallowing hard, your throat constricting with the threatening tears, you took a deep breath and spoke tentatively, seizing the moment, “Zelda?”
Through the cloud of grief, Zelda’s eyes widened in surprise as she realised who stood before her as she turned, “Vera?” She croaked.
In that moment, you could sense Zelda’s world caving in, instinct telling you to leap forward. Gathering her in a strong embrace, Zelda let out a cry of pain in her dismay, not caring that the entire Academy could hear her. The sound brought tears to your eyes, blurring your vision, and threatened to spill. It was a sound that pierced your core, tearing your very soul. You felt Zelda’s weight against you as she sagged to the floor. Her hands frantically gripped the fabric of your blazer. Desperate to offer any comfort, you started whispering words of comfort into her ear, words of love and affection.
The sound of running feet alerted you, and you looked up to see several students staring at the scene. With a gentle waive, Hilda ushered the others away, a hint of relief in her eyes.
“Vera?” Zelda repeated, as though not quite believing her eyes. She pulled away to regard the woman whose arms were wrapped tightly around her.
You gave a nod, placing a gentle kiss on her forehead in confirmation. In that moment, reality hit you like a tidal wave. Fear and anxiety simmered within you, but you managed to push it away. Having set your inner turmoil aside, you reached forward and stoked Zelda’s soft cheeks with the tender touch of your hands, “Oh my love, I am so sorry.”
Zelda opened her mouth to speak but was unable. Her body slumped once more, and you took her into your arms. Yet again, you found herself focusing on your mantra, lacuane magicae. With your renewed energy, you teleported the two of them into the High Priestess office, seeking privacy. You knew her well enough to know what Zelda needed; she had never been comfortable at openly revealing her state of mind.
The next moment, you were positioned in front of the office fireplace, seated opposite one another in the velvet sofa. Sparing a glance at your surroundings, you saw the office had hardly changed at all. The room was dimly lit, adding to the late-night atmosphere. At the centre of the room, in front of the windows stood a massive oak desk, the very same, as centuries prior. The only changes you could see were a few of Zelda’s personal belongings: an exquisite crystal ashtray; a photograph of Edward with baby Sabrina in his arms; and an ancient sphinx in copper which you recognised to be an object you had once gifted Zelda.
Your eyes locked onto Zelda’s watery gaze, it seemed as though she was carrying the weight of the universe on her shoulders. Reaching out to take her hand, Zelda grasped it between both her own. The touch seemed to have a reassuring effect, grounding her to the present. She took a deep, steadying breath and proceeded to recount the events having passed over the last months. You couldn’t help but wonder how mere months could have wrecked such havoc in their long lifespan. At every harrowing detail, you felt a piece of your heart breaking. Your worst fears were confirmed by Zelda’s words. You had only ever heard tales of the Eldritch Terrors. You could never have imagined that they would manifest themselves in Greendale. Nor could you have imagined it would cost Sabrina her life. Sweet, young, and clever Sabrina. Your gut churned with guilt, settling there with no intention of leaving. If you were honest with yourself, you were at a loss of words. How could you ever be enough for Zelda through this? How could you be so very blind to think you could ever be enough? These voices in the back of your head were incessant, but you managed to push them away. You were here for Zelda; you could not fall victim to your own insecurities. Taking a deep breath, you knelt to the floor in front of the other woman, placing your steady hands on Zelda’s trembling thighs, “I am so sorry, no words I offer could ever be enough.” Tears flowed freely down your cheeks, hot and unwelcome. You would give anything to take Zelda’s pain away.
Zelda let out a strangled sob, “I killed her, Vera!” Her voice a harsh whisper, as though she was confessing a great secret. She fell forward into your strong arms; all you could do was to catch her and share her pain. You were unable to find words, so you merely held her, placing tender kisses to the side of Zelda’s head. Your own tears mingled with Zelda’s, this grief surpassing all else. No words could ever be enough. Zelda had lost a child. It was a loss you wouldn’t wish upon your worst enemy; the cruelty of it.
Many moments passed in each other’s arms; you wished you could stay like this for a little longer. But Zelda was exhausted, not that she would ever admit to such a thing. You knew her, truly knew her, even after all these years.
Summoning strength, you rose to your feet, pulling Zelda up. You never let go of her hands, your link everlasting. Gazing into tired blue eyes, you spoke quietly, “You need rest, Zelda.”
The High Priestess straightened her back in at attempt at composing herself, “We haven’t finished talking, and-”
“Hush, love.” Your velvet voice was enough to persuade her, and she shut her mouth. You regarded her once more, taking in her impeccable stance and beauty. How could she look this perfect, while feeling broken inside? You wondered what she yourself looked like now. Taking her hand, you led Zelda to the adjoining room. It was, as you knew very well, the personal quarters of the Directrix. A brief excitement tingled in your belly as memories flashed by.
The room was dark, but with a whispered spell, candles lit, illuminating the room in warm light. A large bed stood at the centre of the room, sheltered in a canopy of heavy drapes. Without the exchange of words, you guided a numb Zelda to the bed, who immediately laid down on one side, drawing her knees up to her chest. You sat down on the edge, next to her, “Try and sleep.” You whispered gently before bending down to place a soft kiss on Zelda’s lips. Even this fleeting kiss was everything you remembered it was. Soft, she tasted a hint of wine and cigarettes, the sensation spreading warmth in your chest. The moment between you lingered, and you felt Zelda’s hand reach up to caress your cheek, “I have missed you.” She whispered; eyes closed.
“And I, you.”

Fic authors self-rec! ✨ When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you’ve written, then pass on to at least five other writers 🖤
wow five is a lot! I am not going to stick to one fandom because I don't really like a lot of my current stuff haha Ghost Freshly Squeezed (E) Cardinal Copia x Fem!Reader A Discordant Melody (E) Cardinal Copia x Fem!Reader, PapaIV x Fem!Reader (they are two different characters) Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep (M) Zelda Spellman x Faustus Blackwood - though it's not a ship-centric fic. But there's no happy endings, not here and not now (T) no pairings, just a story about the first time Zelda killed Hilda told in the style of Lemony Snicket. it was meant to be more but I left the fandom. I still like what I wrote and the single chapter can stand on its own. Rather Impulsive (E) Zelda Spellman x Mary Wardwell

Love the snippet from your Sabrina x Stranger Things fic... can't wait for more I think the premise is super interesting. Hope you continue to post more of it.
I’m glad you liked it - I definitely plan on posting the full chapter - I’ve been struggling a bit with getting the plot “settled” but it’s definitely coming! I’m just trying to make sure I have everything covered for where I want it to go.
Edit: Chapter 1 is here
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina + Stranger Things crossover
Reader is mixed (black and white) a witch (A Spellman) who moved to Hawkins after becoming the Queen of hell (which will be gotten into later. Things are gonna start off pretty quick - takes place in Season 4 of stranger things with other elements from the other seasons included (I’m taking GREAT creative liberty)
Warnings for later chapters: will include smut, Eddie Munson x Reader, will include pagan imagery, spell work and witchcraft. Takes place during the ‘satanic panic’ so if that makes you uncomfortable don’t read.

Chapter 1
To say your life was hellish was a severe understatement. So much so that your two aunts Hilda and Zelda and cousin Ambrose quickly relocated you to Hawkins, Indiana your senior year of High School. So many things had changed leading up to this move. You had lost friends, lost family connection, fought the “devil” himself and became the Queen of hell at the age of 20. A part of you, buried deep in your soul, longed for normalcy, or what you perceived as normalcy. You loved the gifts of being a witch, you truly did, and you wouldn’t have it any other way. Moving to Hawkins was exactly what you needed - even though leaving your family was one of the hardest decisions you had to make. It was what was best for you - and them.
--------------------------------------
Being the new kid is a feeling you despised - especially when you were the different new kid. The black clothing, crystal, sigil and pentacle jewelry also didn’t help with the wondering eyes. You decided your best course of action was to lay low and blend in, as much as a witch could amongst mortals. But per usual, people had other plans.
You had brought a book to read, not minding sitting alone at lunch. Sitting down with your poor excuse of a lunch you pulled your book from your backpack, opening to the last page you had read.
“Hey newbie!”
You jumped at the voice, turning to see a kid wearing a ballcap and a graphic tee with a patterned button up. He motioned for you to come sit at his table, the other boys looking at you. You sighed, shaking your head before putting your book back in your bag and walking over to their table, avoiding the wandering eyes as you sat down.
“How can I help you?”
“Dustin Henderson,” the boy said holding out a hand for you to shake.
“Y/n Spellman,” you said, shaking his hand.
“Eddie Munson,” you turned to put a face to the voice, finding him to be wearing the same shirt under a leather jacket and jean vest, long unruly hair brushing past his shoulders. “Ms. Spellman, it’s an honor,” he said, jokingly bowing to you. You lips unturned in a slight smirk, finding it funny that he knew nothing about you. “You don’t look like the other students here,” he said, gesturing to the necklaces that hung from your neck, all of the bearing pagan and occult symbols. “I like your style,” he added, his brown eyes meeting your sharplpy lined ones. “We would like to bestow you the privilege to join our group.”
“And what makes you think I’d even want to join your…group?” The boys laughed, egging Eddie on.
“Us freaks have to stick together,” he said, not breaking eye contact with you.
“Freaks? Does that have anything to do with the t-shirts all of you are wearing?”
“These? These have to do with DnD,” Dustin said excitedly. “We could teach you how to play! It’s a b-” The boy beside Dustin hit him upside the back of his head, shaking his own.
“Mike what was that for?” Dustin asked at the same time as you said,
“I know how to play DnD Dustin,”
“Only I can offer an invitation to someone into Hellfire Henderson, you know that.” Eddie said, turning to look to you. “What do you say sweetheart?” Eddie asked, cocking his head to the side, seemingly interested that you played DnD.
“What’s the harm?” You asked with a shrug, sitting down next to Dustin. You looked at everyone at the table, eyes finding Eddie’s and looking at the magazine in his hands. “What’s the news?”
“The devil has come to Hawkins.” You smile broke for a second, rasing a brow.
“Elaborate?”
“Apparently,” Eddie began, putting on a voice representing a newscaster, “the game has been connected to ritual sacrifice, sodomy, suicide, and even-” he took a dramatic pause, “murder”
“Exciting,” you chuckled under your breath, sighing in slight relief. You had already been at the end of one witch hunt you didn’t want to be at the end of another.
“What are you doing in Hawkins?” Mike asked. You chuckled softly, shaking your head.
“If I told you the truth you wouldn’t believe me,” you said, fingers unintentionally moving to your pentagram necklace.
“You’d be surprised,” Dustin breathed. You opened your mouth to say something, the bell signaling the end of lunch interrupted you. Dustin and Mike both said their goodbyes, as well as the other boys except for Eddie.
“I really like you,” Eddie said softly. “Meet me out in the woods after school.”
“Gonna kill me?”
“Oh no, you’re too hot to kill,” he said with a soft smirk.
“Smooth Munson,” you said with a smile.
“You don’t mind being seen with a mixed girl?” You asked softly, your eyes sad as you met his. His brows furrowed in confusion, a faint look of pity meeting yours.
“Look at me, do you think I really care about appearances?” Eddie asked softly.
“No but…”
“No buts sweetheart. I’m not gonna hurt you. I might look scary but I’d never hurt someone.” He said shaking his head. The second bell rang, signalling your time was nearing an end. “Let me walk you to class.”
------------------------
Eddie had nearly talked your ear off as he walked you to class. He really didn’t seem to care that people were staring, and when he talked to you, you didn’t either. The school day ended quickly, thankfully, Eddie had decided that he liked you enough to let you sit in on DnD. He paused at the open doors, eyes scanning the room in front of him.
“Where’s Sinclair?”
“We-we were gonna tell you but then-” Mike began.
“I invited y/n over and we forgot,” Dustin said softly.
“Forgot what exactly?”
“Lucas is at the championship game,” the two boys murmured as Eddie slowly walked to the elaborate table like a predator cornering his prey. Slamming his hands down on the table.
“You mean to tell me that Lucas has been taken to the dark side and you didn’t think to tell me until now?” Eddie ground out. He looked over his shoulder at you, smirking gently. “Lucky you’re here sweetheart,” he said turning to face you fully, arms crossing smugly. “Class and level?”
“Chaotic good half elf rogue, level 14,” you said in response, keeping his gaze.
“A little feisty,” he said eyes narrowing slightly. “Let’s see what you’re worth Spellman.”
---------------------
The game came down to you and Dustin, who unfortunately died tragically.
“Flee? Or fight?” Eddie asked.
“We said to the death didn’t we?” You said softly, holding your hand out for the “D20 please,”
“Be my guest,” he said placing the die in your hand with a smirk. Holding the die in your hands you took a break stating a simply spell in your mind;
When chance’s dice I choose to throw
Little seed of acorn grow
As I gild thee here and now
Bring to me my desire
Eddie held eye contact with you as the die rolled, neither of you breaking it until you heard the triumphant cheers of the boys around you, Dustin shaking you in excitement. Eddie, one for theatrics you’ve learned, bowed to you once again, the smirk you’ve been growing to love staring back at you.
“Well done Spellman.”
---------------------
After the game you walked out to the woods, sitting down at a picnic table. You looked around, hearing a blond girl walked up behind you. She wore a cheerleader uniform, she seemed nervous as she sat down next to you.
“You’re the new kid aren’t you?” She asked you.
“Mhmm,” you nodded.
“Chrissy Cunningham,” she said, offering you a small smile.
“Y/n Spellman”
“Are you buying from him too?” She asked.
“Buying?”
“Weed,” she said softly. Your eyebrows rose slightly and shook your head.
“I didn’t know he sold,” you said softly.
“Oh! I thought you knew,” she said softly. “You’re not gonna tell anyone right?”
“No, no. It’s cool,” you said, “I dabble.”
“Ladies,” Chrissy jumped at the sound of Eddie’s voice, the latter holding his hands up in surrender. “Didn’t mean to scare you,” he said looking between the two of you. “You buyin?”
-----------------
Eddie had taken his time to make Chrissy comfortable with buying from him as she decided that she wanted something stronger. She and Eddie had been in his trailer for an awful long time, you deciding to stay outside, a blunt between your lips as you anxiously toyed with your obsidian ring. Something about this felt off.
Then you heard his scream.
The fear you saw on his face as he ran out of his trailer, you didn’t know what had happened but he looked terrified.
“Eddie? Eddi What happened!” You asked as he frantically unlocked his van.
“Chrissy-she, I was getting the special k and she, she floated and-and now,” he murmured under his breath, his hands shaking.
“Eddie calm down, if you co-”
“Chrissy’s dead y/n!” He said, hands gripping your shoulders tight. “I-I have to get out of here.”
“De- What?!”
“Get in the van Spellman!” Eddie didn’t offer anything else, pushing you towards the passenger seat, running to the drivers seat. He didn’t even speak to you as he put the van in reverse, driving like a mad man out of the trailer park.
“Where are you going?”
“Far from here,” he said quickly.
“Go to my house,” you said quickly.
“What?” He breathed, eyes wide and trained on the road.
“Go to my fucking house!” You said firmly, making Eddie jump.
“Why?”
“I can keep you safe,” you said. “Trust me,”
---------------------------
The two of you had abandoned the van in a thick patch of woods, as you lead Eddie to your house, in the outskirts of Hawkins. The night concealed the two of you as you led him inside.
“You live here alone?” Eddie asked softly, looking around.
“It’s a long story,” you said quietly, pulling this jacket off slowly. “How are you doing?”
“I-I just watched something kill the Queen of Hawkins high in my trailer and now I’m alone with the hottest girl in school, how do you think I’m doing?”
“You think I’m hot?” You asked with a soft smile. He scoffed at your statement, shaking his head.
“You don’t believe me - about Chrissy do you?”
“First off I wouldn’t be alone with you if I had a single doubt that you killed her. Second off, I’ve had my fair share of…strange experiences. You’d be surprised how unsurprised I am by this, but onto more important matters, is there someone I can call?”
—————-
You waited as the land line rang, watching Eddie pace back and forth beside you.
“You keep doing that you’re gonna run a hole in the rug Munson.”
“Shut it Spellman.”
“Henderson Residence.”
“Hi, this is Y/n Spellman, I go to school with Dustin and I wanted to ask him some questions about the game we played tonight,” you said the lie rolling off your tongue easily, hoping the woman who you assumed was his mother would buy it. She seemingly did as she transferred the call to Dustin.
“Y/n?”
“Is anyone listening in?” You asked quietly.
“No?”
“I - I need you to come over. Eddie’s here and…something happened.” You said softly.
“What happened?” Dustin asked. Your silence seemed to be telling enough as he spoke again. “Was it a demogorgon? Or a demodog?”
“A what? Dustin I don’t know what your talking about.”
“There monsters from another dimension, their face opens u-“
“Dustin, I need you here. So Eddie can explain.”
“Alright, but tell Eddie I’m bringing the others. And Steve.”
————————
“Steve Harrington? Dustin said he was bringing Steve?” Eddie asked, fidgeting with the rings on his fingers as the two of you sat at your dinner table that your aunt had graciously allowed you to take from Greendale.
“Yeah, he said he needed a ride, and something about a bat,” you said shaking your head. “Did you need a drink? Food? A change of clothes?” You asked, reaching a hand out to his. He didn’t answer right away, seeming to examine you closely.
“What are you?”
“What?” You asked softly, brows furrowing.
“I-the jewelry, the pentagram, the vibe.” He said, waving his hands about. You
took a breath, turning your face from him for a few seconds. “You’re a witch aren’t you,” he said softly, fidgetting. You gave him a soft nod as you turned around to face him again. “Cool, cool,” he breathed, running his hand through his hair. “Witches, demons, monsters, I’m going insane aren’t I?”
“No Eddie, you’re not,” you said, shaking your head. “This world isn’t…as it seems,” you said gently.
“Clearly, I mean a girl levitated and died from the inside out in my fucking trailer!” He said bluntly, hands slamming down on the dining room table.
“Eddie, how can I help?” You asked quietly, once again placing your hands over his again to squeeze gently.
“I-I don’t know,” he said softly. “I don’t fucking know.”
“Well, I’m here, and you’re safe. With me. No one gets in who I don’t allow,” you said firmly. “Speaking of which, the others are here,” you said, standing up from your seat. “Stay here,” you added as you moved to the front door.
“Where would I go?” Eddie asked absentmindedly, staring at his hands. You opened the door to see Dustin with another young girl and boy and two people your age.
“Hey Dustin, who’re they?” You asked, blocking the doorway.
“Max, Lucas, Robin and Steve.” Dustin said, pointing to each person.
“You weren’t followed were you?”
“Not that I’m aware of,” Steve said, moving to lean against the doorway. “Can we come in?”
“Uh, yeah,” you said stepping aside to allow them in through the wards you had setup.
“Nice house you’ve got here,” Dustin said, taking time to look around slowly.
“Wait here please,” you said, walking up behind Eddie, hands resting on his shoulders to soothe him gently. “You gonna be polite?”
“I don’t trust Harrington,” Eddie said shaking his head.
“But you trust Dustin, right,” you said, absentmindedly squeezing the muscles of his shoulders.
“Yeah,” he sighed, head falling forward. “Feels good,” he murmured, his body relaxing slightly.
“I’ll level with you, you play nice and I will give you the best massage of your life,” you said softly, “How does that sound?”
“Trying to make a move on me y/n?” Eddie asked, standing up to turn around to face you, moving your hands from his shoulders.
“I’m being hospitable,” you said softly, offering him a gentle smile. “What do you say?”
“I say, you put forth a strong argument m’lady.” Eddie said, “I’ll play nice,” he added with a smirk that made you want to giggle.
“Henderson, get you and your friends in here,” you called, not pulling your eyes from Eddie. He held your gaze a few moments more before turning to face Dustin. Offering the boy a hand he snorted, pulling him close in a hug.
“Henderson.”
“Munson.”
“Who’re they?”
“Robin, she plays in band.” Dustin said, Robin mimicking a trumpet with her fingers. “Steve…you know him,” the two men shared eye contact, neither one making a move to shake hands or offer salutations. “You know Lucas, and Max, she never wants to play dnd” Max shrugged, her eyes meeting yours with a small smile after Eddie’s. “Oh and she’s y/n, the new kid.” Dustin said pointing to you. You offered them all a wave, moving closer to Eddie.
“I’ve taken the liberty of keeping Eddie with me, he’s safe here. No one will find him here,” you said.
“How are you going to keep him safe newbie?” Steve asked, turning to face you, a hand cocked on his hip. You looked to Eddie as he offered you a soft nod.
“Don’t freak out,” you said softly. “I’m a witch,” you said softly. “I let you enter my home with my permission to let you through my wards. No random person will be able to break them I assure you.”
“Cool.” Dustin said, sitting down at the dinner table expectantly. Your eyes followed him with a confused gaze.
“What are you doing Dustin?”
“Dinner?”
“Oh you’re just assuming I’d provide dinner?”
“Dinner actually sounds great y/n.” Eddie said with a smug grin.
“Oh I’m sure it does Munson. But I’m only housing Eddie, not you and your…gang.”
“But doesn’t Eddie have to fill us in on what happened?” Robin asked, a small smile present on her lips.
“Oh wonderful, you’re all in this together.”
