sorry this is gonna be a ramble. tl;dr help your local black transmasc queer pay his rent.

for those who want slightly more details:

i really don’t like asking for money (and i haven’t despite everything going on ever in my life) but this is just getting frustrating and i could use a little help. my job doesn’t pay me enough (even when i don’t take off) to pay my rent in one go and usually i have to split the payments. because i have been dealing with health issues lately and have had to take off some days, my paychecks have been shorter and shorter and it’s frustrating. i’ve been pushing myself this past pay period so i should be able to make things work next paycheck. but right now even just a little extra so i don’t have to struggle so much with rent and paying phones etc would be great.

tl;dr i pretty much need an extra $619 dollars.

Arranged marriage AU with Barbarian Bakugou who is so daunting to be around at first. He’s all gruff curses and broad shoulders and scarred cheeks and neck and jaw. He scowls constantly, stares at you while your parents auction you off like some show pig, but doesn’t say much to you besides a grunt of his name. You’re terrified, thinking that he’ll be cruel to you, that you’re being set up for a life full of unhappiness and terror and regret.

But he’s the exact opposite. Bakugou is gentle in ways a man of his size typically wouldn’t be, but he shrinks himself for you. Not in a way that diminishes his status as the newly appointed king, but to respect you, show you that you’re beside him instead of behind him.

He picks you berries on his hunts because he knows the smell of a fresh kill brings nausea to your stomach. You find him along with the other maidens and helpers around his village, sitting beside them, big fingers holding tiny little flowers that he weaves into a crown for you. When he sets it on your head, he purses his lips, mutters something under his breath in his language that you’re still not too familiar with, but sure it means something along the lines of pretty and soft.

And when he finds you bathing in the river only few have access to, he’s sweet the whole time. Doesn’t make a spectacle of you being naked, and is relieved when you don’t instantly cower when he wades his way over to you. You try not to stare at the clawed scars that decorate his pec and jaw when he stands above you, and it helps when he suddenly dumps water all over your head. He shushes you when you splutter, continues on with cupping his hands and letting the water run off of your hair and down your shoulders, scrubbing at your skin until your flesh squeaks. He doesn’t expect you to do the same for him, but he hums in satisfaction when you push him down a little lower so you can wash the crown of his head.

By now I think many people have heard that KristSingto’s upcoming series is an original script that was written for them. What we also have confirmed is that it was written about them.

KRIST: This series was written by P'Backaof and directed by P'Lit where they created this script from the start deliberately for the two of us and they got information for the characters etc. from KristSingto directly. In the series, the name for P'Sing is Tamtawan, and my name is Phatapi. And Tamtawan Tamtawan and Phatapi are KristSingto themselves.

INTERVIEWER: Does that mean you play yourself?

KRIST: [laughing] Yes, we act as ourselves, so it's not difficult at all.

loving reminder as someone who struggles with food: you are allowed to add joy to your food. you are allowed to add a little joy even if it’s a tiny thing, something silly or something weird. you are allowed to do it whenever you want, as many times as you want. anything that makes food easier and more enjoyable for you is worth it!! it’s your food, you can decide what to do with it!! you can add rainbow sprinkles to your ice cream. you can cut your food into little heart shapes. you can pack your snacks into cute little bento boxes. it is not pointless or childish, it is an effective and active coping tool that you are allowed to use.

Help me name my new puppy!

I’m getting a puppy soon and am struggling to come up with a name, so I wanted to see if anyone out there has any suggestions that might catch my eye. Puppy will be a male, tricolor rough collie.

My requirements:

-Name should have something to do with astronomy/cosmology/space - even if it’s just very tangentially related, it needs some sort of tie-in

-Name can be any language, but needs to be something I (English speaker) can easily spell and pronounce

-Name cannot sound similar to “Boone”

I spent a while yesterday going through wiki rabbit holes looking up star names and etc and came up blank. Would love to hear if you have any suggestions of space-y words/names you think would fit! Thank you ❤️

Levi x Accident Prone/Clumsy SO

💫 Accidentally hit myself in the face while opening my backpack and was inspired 😅

You won’t be chopping up any ingredients if Levi can help it: Don’t touch that.” “But I’m trying to helpppp.” “You can help me by staying safe, which means no touching.”

He’ll make sure you’re aware of what’s ahead of you when you’re not paying attention. “Watch out for that. I don’t want you to die.”

When the streets are busy, he’ll take it upon himself to guide you, his arm securely around your waist as he helps you navigate the people traffic.

Your apartment will already be organized because of Levi but he would try his best to organize things in a way that would make it difficult for things to be in your way.

Whenever you get packages, big or small, Levi will place them somewhere that is out of your way but that is also in your line of sight so you know where they are.

Levi’s already hyper vigilant so he’s aware of his surroundings, especially when you’re around. “There’s a step in front of you”, “Pole on your right”, “Move left”.

He’ll notice new bruises before you do. He won’t tell you directly, he’ll massage the skin near the bruise, careful not to hurt you, and ask “Now where did this one come from?”

With how often you get bruises, he’ll suggest iron supplements. If you don’t buy them, he’ll buy them for you, walking up to you and placing them in front of you. “Take them.”

Sometimes you don’t have the common sense to move out the way when Levi’s opening a cabinet or a cupboard. To prevent you from getting hurt, Levi will place one hand over your knee, thigh, or forehead (anticipated spots where you might get hit) and open what he needs to with the other hand.

When you do manage to accidentally bump into something when he’s around, letting out a yelp of surprise and/or pain, Levi can’t help but shake his head and let out a small chuckle. He doesn’t know how you manage to hurt yourself so often. It’s kind of adorable. “C’mere, are you okay?”

He does not let you try to find your way anywhere in the dark. If for some reason, after you both get in bed, you need to get a glass of water or use the bathroom Levi will make sure you have a light source. “Don’t move, let me turn on the light first.”

Again, Levi doesn’t understand how you manage to accidentally hurt yourself so often but he knows he doesn’t need to. What he does know, and do, is he does his best to mitigate it. Of course he can’t protect you from everything, but that doesn’t stop him from trying.

A friend and I wanna move out together but the average bond deposits here are like $4000 aud. Neither of us have enough right now and I’m putting a lot aside from my fortnightly payments to try and save up, which really affects how much food I’ll get to eat :”))
