I felt like blue was a swaggy color yesterday 👍 so I doodled with it 😼 can you believe? Men in love? That’s so cool, shoutout to them. Did I make one of Maine’s bracelets a centipede? Yes. Why? I thought it’d be pretty cool. (rants in read more)
Tumblr media
Shorts weather goes crazy, it’s been 50-60° up here lately and lord it’s so hot, but summer is usually 70-90°+ and I hope it stays 70
I think. Alaska’s favorite color would be blue. I have reasons.
For one, a lot of his state symbols are blue, and I’ve always associated ptarmigans with a soft light bluish greenish cuz my elementary school was fantastic and lovely and the school’s color was that and their mascot is the ptarmigan, it’s a native school
Second, he likes space… which has a lot of blue usually, I’m not really sure tho
Third, if he’s a whale expert he probably really likes sea creatures, not to mention having more coast than the whole lower 48 combined and surrounded by three seas and two oceans; plus, moose are known to actually love to swim so much so that orcas are one of their predators
I looked at a ton of native beading and kuspuks and a very very common color was blue and purple, I’m assuming it’s cuz it contrasts with the usually fur made clothing (I think Maine has gifted Alaska with really nice beads before, hopefully as a bonus they were not plastic, thatd be pretty cool)
lastly, blue isn’t really known to be an overwhelming color? I’m not too sure, but it’s usually known as a calm color, I think Alaska would appreciate that
Which kinda blues would he prefer?? i aint too sure. i havent thought that far yet, but who says he cant like many blues
Another Alaska hc is that Alaska used to be bad with alcohol. I read Russians introduced natives to hard liquor to gain advantages over them, in leading to generational trauma.
Alaska was probably introduced to it when he was young and he figured drinking was the only thing making his suffering by their hands a little more bearable each drop he took. And maybe throughout his lawless territory era it was still pretty bad and eventually during mushing (i imagine he took up a mushing mailing job cuz it kept him away from people the most) he got pretty injured cuz of it and he then realized then that if he continued like that he may accidentally get one of his dogs hurt and that scared him. He wasn't really bad towards anyone when he drank tho, just very shut down i imagine. But now i think he can handle drinking well, but tries to make sure of what and how much he drinks (my excuse for this is that Alaska has strict drinking laws, its illegal to even get drunk in a bar, but i think thats for the better. The roads are dangerous enough as is) as per the awa'uq massacre, awa'uq means "to become numb" and i think that would be how Alaska would describe what it was like for him during those times

hai i am not saying this a joke or anything I genuinely want to see every answer for that oc game :)
[ask game]
YESSSSSSSS HELL YEAH
I'm gonna do these for seonjin bc i'm thinking about him. here is a sneak peak at his new design also:
Tumblr media
answers under the cut bc there are a lot
I typically associate seonjin with the color purple, though in character i doubt he cares much about it. typically he wears a lot of blacks, dark blues and greys.
Seonjin would like hard rock, though he's adamant that anything written after 2000 is trash. he would never admit this, but he also listens to a lot of NELL and other tearjerker kpop. I don't know about his favorite song, but I associate him with sabotage by the beastie boys
As for weapon of choice, seonjins weapon in Ad Terra is a revolver, but he never uses it because he doesn't have many bullets. Seonjin believes he can outwit or avoid other people (and zombies) 99% of the time so he doesn't feel the need to weigh himself down carrying a big weapon. If push comes to shove though, he thinks the revolver's intimidation factor should be enough.
Seonjin is resourceful in some ways and just refuses to try in others. he's stubborn about not knowing how to build things, mend clothing, etc. but he's survived on his own for a long time so he knows how to meet his needs.
In Ad Terra, seonjin favors practicality and freedom of movement over anything else, but in normalverse he's definitely more of an aesthetic guy. he owns WAY too many shoes. he doesn't have an interest in fashion though, it's more of a status thing for him.
Again, how seonjin wears his hair differs in normalverse vs. Ad Terra. In normalverse he has a stylish and very well maintained haircut, but in Ad Terra he bleaches his hair and basically has a mullet. go figure.
He likes orcas and narwhals he thinks they're cool as hell
Seonjin's only nickname is his gamer tag, PRinCe. He didn't choose it for any strong reason, he just thought it sounded good and he thought it would be cool to change it to, like, King or something when he made a name for himself
His favorite food is ribs prepared absolutely any way. He's definitely a picky eater, he hates fish and anything fishy. Tragically he is also lactose intolerant.
Seonjin does not wear jewelry, but he does think it'd be cool to get his ears pierced at some point. He likes gold more than silver but I don't think he has a favorite gem other than "most expensive."
What he has in common with me? hmmm. we both play offtank and try to live in the present, i guess. he's different in that he is... ruthless isn't quite the right word, but he is goal-oriented to the extreme and actively tries not to be approachable. I think i'd get along with him better than with most of my other ocs, but we wouldn't be close.
He's been around for... what, 3 years now? His original concept was very loose and I don't remember when he really started to carve himself out. I haven't decided on a birthday for him yet, but he was born in '99. As for what he thinks about celebrating birthdays, he'd say it isn't really important to him but he definitely cares.
Seonjin is a native korean speaker and also speaks english very fluently!
He's, like, fine with numbers and he'd be better if he tried, but he doesn't really care about math
His family is just him, his parents, and his paternal grandparents. When he was growing up it was just him and his parents, but after he left to compete in the US his parents moved in with his grandparents. In Ad Terra, he lives by himself, but he doesn't stay anywhere too long.
Seonjin doesn't have pets, but he's always wanted to get a hamster and thinks they're the perfect animal.
He spent most of his summers/free time gaming, and the rest of it working at a relative's store.
Seonjin doesn't care if someone lies or steals (and does so often himself), but killing is WAY too far. Generally, his main priority is survival and he understands when others lie to or steal from him to do the same
Seonjin gets angry very easily, but he's very good at taking a deep breath, pushing it aside, and not letting his emotions control him. Notable exceptions are when his past as a booster is brought up as a gotcha or when someone (nyangi) goes too far.
Seonjin cannot drive and will never learn. public transit sweep!!!!!
His favorite place to be is at home. He doesn't get to come back often (or at all in Ad Terra), so he misses it a lot.
Seonjin's sleep is segmented and he usually wakes up a few times throughout the night. he prefers to take short naps as opposed to long sleeps.
His voice is gentle and he typically speaks casually. He's on the low end of the tenor spectrum? I think he could sing if he wanted to, but he never does.
Seonjin does not have any creative hobbies, but he'd find woodcarving fun if he tried it out.
His eyesight is like, fine, but his hearing is a bit below average. he makes up for this by having REALLY good intuition.
seonjin is super agile! he's quick on his feet and very flexible.
(changing this to favorite game instead of favorite sport for obvious reasons) he plays Fantasy Overwatch professionally, but seonjin's all time favorite game is Fantasy Quake
Seonjin shows he cares by like. keeping an eye out and going out of his way to be helpful to them. as for how he shows he dislikes someone... he doesn't care. if he doesn't like them, they're a fly buzzing in his ear, nothing more.
the element i associate him with is fire, but in my superpower AU he's got earth magic for plot reasons LMAO
I don't think he smells like anything particular. just very neutral
Seonjin likes receiving gifts, but he never knows what to do with them because generally he's already gotten himself whatever he needs. he really hates giving gifts because he assumes other people are the same and also don't like novelties (but he gives them anyways if its socially required). his ideal gift? a gift card to his favorite restaurant. he doesn't think anyone pays attention to him or what he likes/dislikes, so someone taking the time to figure that out would mean a lot to him.
odd habbits? not really... he's laser focused on his goals and doesn't care to do anything but work towards them.
How my other characters would describe him... most of them would describe him as hardworking and amicable, but more standoffish and forgettable than anything else. nyangi on the other hand would say he's a manipulative spiteful sonofabitch. sale would say the same thing as everyone else, but add that they feel sorry for him.
seonjin would describe himself as someone who never gives up and who's stronger than anyone else believes he is. he prides himself on his intuition and work ethic.
In normalverse, Seonjin returns home as much as he can (which isn't often). In Ad Terra? he can't return home, and in more ways than he thinks.

Big round blubbery guy! Like a beluga or an orca. Round flattish face, big nose, chubby cheeks, big square chin. Thick horns that flow back over his head and end in harpoon-like hooks. Webbed hands, big thick tail with dorsal fins. Thin colorful purple fins over his long, sharp ears, near his horns, down his tail. Thicker, stouter fins down his back, on the back of his arms, down his tail, at the end of the tail. Has a big scar over his nose. Darker forehead, white around the eyes. Dark tips (hands, end of tail, horn tips, nose). Thick paint around his eyes like this (thick around the eyes like eyeliner, with wings at the tips). Claws that are usually painted black. Self-harm scars on the insides of his wrists and on his thighs. Thick heavy tattoos on both of his arms depicting various important events in his life. Think biker tattoo sleeves. Big tattoo on his back of half-folded bat wings. Big tummy! Fat! Blubbery. Stretch marks as well. No stripes! Just darker back and lighter tummy. Spattering of beauty marks / freckles all over.
Most of these won't come up except for the stuff that you see on the outside. His wrists and self-harm scars are always covered and he tries to cover his tattoos when he's in professional court settings.
When in uniform, Adamantine wears a full-body wetsuit under sleek-black armor (not full body, just a chest-plate, kneepads and gauntlets) made by Armourer, marked with Ada's caste symbol and the symbol of the empire, as well as his name. Wears a bright purple sash that crosses horizontally across his front, tied at his waist. He wears heavy, military boots that match his armor.
When out of uniform, he wears black tight leather or denim pants, a black or brown button up shirt open at the top or, when at much more casual, a band t-shirt under a brown leather vest or just a band tank top. He wears brown leather cowboy boots and brown leather arm bracelets that are thick enough to cover his wrists, or a watch. He dresses like a biker, and he LOVES brown leather.
Pets: None!
Religion: Part of a clown church cult i don't have a name for yet which worships pain and suffering as a source of power (thus the self-harm scars).
MBTI: idk yet!
Likes: reading, writing prose and poetry, fixing/doing mechanics on his bike and various other machines, swimming (he swims really fast!), old man things like pool and billiards, drinking various exotic alcohols (he might have himself an addiction), coffee and tea, tobacco and smoking, horse riding when he can, MATHS and NUMBER CRUNCHING, killing, pain, conquering by force, spa day, Armourer, Bentiv
Dislikes: court drama (and most of the royal court with it), being left out of the group, not being respected, being hot all the damn time my god is he sweaty sometimes, having to use his legs for an extended period of time (he'd rather swim. or drive), being rushed, soda and cheap or fast food, having to micromanage people, people who question him, and people who dig into his past
Positive traits: smart, talkative, willing to talk to you about things if they interest him, patient as hell, creative, kinky, and he's learning to be relatively friendly and approachable!
Negative traits: judgey, automatically thinks he's better than you (he's working on it), bitey, will question authority if he thinks it's stupid, pushy, his way or the highway stubborn sometimes, clingy, automatically assumes the worst, shy
Misc brain stuff: hyperempathy, has a hard time saying no, bpd girlies be like, ptsd, suicidal. trying. really. hard. to be nice. to you. : }. can get panic and anxiety attacks if pushed too much. uncontrollable anger that'll make him say shit he regrets if you press the wrong buttons.
Disabilities: none! other than the brain shit. which there is. a lot of.
Random stuff i find fun: he's a cusp-blood, half clown half violet. has weak psionics for making you feel what hes feeling. activates whenever he feels a super strong emotion. is part of a clown church cult as a result. does this to say fuck the court. hates the court passionately. your character Would Know (if they remember) that he's been kicked out of the royal court for some big disaster. they would not necessarily know unless they were there that day that he was kicked out for trying to colonize a planet, being told he can't because it was A. unnecessary B. took too much resources C. doubted he could do it, did it anyways and not only conquered the unconquerable but got more than 3/4s of the army he took to wipe it out killed. (and that he managed to do it because he yelled so hard at the empress and demanded his place with such amount of force she had to reward him for it.) Also! his blog name is a reference to "Foundations of Decay" by MCR lyrics, and his title is a reference to a quote from Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky. Which I haven't read so I'm a poser and I can't vouch for it, but some vibes tell me Ada would LOVE the big sweeping suffering of the Russian classics.
Relationship Status: Somewhat Dating Armourer. They're close friends (not as close as Armourer is to Bentiv tho). Has a best friend I know nothing about. Good friends with Bentiv! OPEN to advances, but he's very very picky. You can try. He will be Super Judgey and/or get super attached instantly (which. if he does. he'll then proceed to entirely rely on you for his wellbeing. he's. working on it. maybe.).

The Heroes Aren’t Coming
A/N: Yall it’s my first time writing something that’s not just •. So uh, it’s definitely words😃...
Warnings: Bakugou decides he hates everyone and everything, Shigaraki threatens to kill you like twice. Heroes are dicks.
1k words.
Tumblr media
--
Bakugou and you had been kidnapped by the League of Villains. And so far, it wasn’t looking so good. You knew what to do, lie and say you were going to join them, and then when the time came, run away to the heroes as fast as your body would allow you to. Unfortunately though, Bakugou hadn’t had the same thought, and he resorted to cussing out the villains.
You didn’t know the guy very well, hell you weren’t close to anyone in class 1-A, which sort of put you into a group with the other kids who weren’t close with the others. Mainly Todoroki and Kouda, although neither of them really seemed interested in being friends with you. It wasn’t your fault. You just didn’t seem to fit in with any of the small groups your class had made.
You were pretty sure they hadn’t even meant to kidnap you, as you had jumped in front of a classmate, trying to push them away from the villains.
But there you were, silently sitting, strapped to a chair that was holding you down, making your ability to shapeshift into anyone completly useless. Bakugou wasn’t much better off, his hands stuck in some metal block that was suppressing his blasts.
You saw the guy named Shigaraki walk over to the portal guy, and mutter something to him, the guy said something that you couldn’t hear, due to Bakugou’s screaming about killing everyone in the room.
Soon enough one of them, the portal guy, got out a phone, and handed it to Shigaraki, who held it with 3 fingers and walked out of the room.
A few minutes later he returned, and looked towards the portal guy again, nodding his head. He then turned towards the two of you, “Looks like it’s your lucky day. One of you gets to go home.”
Wait what? Only one? What about- oh. Was it you or Bakugou?
The pale man walked towards you, his expression hidden by the hand on his face. “Make one wrong move, and I’ll disintegrate you before you can say another word. And that goes for you too,” he added on, turned towards Bakugou, who was scowling.
Shigaraki undid the metal restraint that held you to the chair, wrapping 3 fingers around your neck as he held you in front of him. You were thankful he could only hold up to 4 on your neck, because even with only 3, it was still difficult to breathe.
Bakugou started cussing again, and you couldn’t help but grind your teeth at the sound of his voice. Soon enough though, they undid Bakugou’s hands, and luckily for you, he didn’t try to escape, since that would mean your death.
Cars were found somewhere and hot wired, while Shigaraki held onto your wrist with a death-grip, and had someone drive to what looked like an empty field. So this was where you two were meeting the heroes?
Soon enough, you and Bakugou (who was acting uncharisterically calm (well minus the cussing)) got out of the car, followed by Shigaraki, who put his hand around your neck again, leading you towards the field.
Luckily for you and Bakugou (who looked like he was about to combust from anger), the heroes showed up after about 5 minutes, coming towards the other side of the field. The air was deathly silent as you looked around at the heroes. You recognised Best Jeanist and Gang Orca among the 4 heroes there, along with your teacher. You also saw, wait, was that Deku? Yeah, Deku, Todoroki, and Kirishima, were to the left of Aizawa.
Where was All MIght though? Surely one of his students being kidnapped was big enough for him to come, right? Apparently not... Unless that was his plan all along! Of course they wouldn’t just leave one of you behind, right? All Might would jump out from wherever he was hiding and save you from this creep. He just had to! Plus, these guys were heros, they would definitely save you and Bakugou.
“They’re fine, just as we agreed,” Shigaraki said, his voice seeming unnaturally loud in the silent field, and squeezing your neck slightly harder when he said it, “Now take your pick.”
“That’s not what was agreed upon.”
Thank god for your teacher.
“Mmm, unfortunately I’m a changeable guy. So do you want the angry one, or the quiet one?”
“That’s not-“
“I could always kill them both right now.”
“Do that and you’ll be killed on the spot.”
“So will your students.”
“You can’t kill-”
“Now, now, now, who said anything about killing them? Whichever one you don’t pick works for us now.”
Like you or Bakugou would ever work for him.
One of the heroes you didn’t know leaned over and muttered something to Aizawa, and he said something back. You looked over at Bakugou, who was paying no attention to you, and was looking like he wanted to murder everyone on the field.
Finally, after a bit of conversation that you couldn’t hear, with even the students chiming in, Aizawa said, “We’ll take Bakugou.”
Time seemed to freeze. Like everyone in the field had suddenly frozen in place, like someone had used a time-freezing quirk.
And then before you could think, Bakugou was on the other side, not looking at you anymore.
You looked at the heros with wide eyes, wanting this all to be a big trick, and All Might to come out now. 1/2 the heroes wouldn’t even look you in the eyes, while one had eyes fill of pity, and your teacher had an unreadable face. All the students had wide eyes, with Deku’s practically watering. He opened his mouth and then closed it, words looking to be stuck in his throat.
Before you could process what was happening, Shigaraki yanked you away, his fingers hovering over your skin the entire time. He held you in front of him the entire time, and the heroes left, looking absolutely defeated. Finally, as he led you back into the car, it hit you. There was nobody coming for you.
You were alone. The heroes weren’t coming.
Upon feeling your increased heart rate, Shigaraki leaned into your ear, lips so close to the flesh you could feel his hot breath on your earlobe.
“Welcome to the team.”

Hey there...I love so much your fanfics so...I wanted to make a request about Bakugou x Kind! Reader. Her quirk is fire but she creates flower-shaped flames. Bakugou already has a crush on her 'cause she's so gorgerous, kind and positive with everyone. But with him had other feelings more than friends, whe he gets mad she always says to him: "Now now, don't you worry so. I hate to see that smile of yours disappear".
The part where she fails the hero license exam and retake the exam with Bakugou an Todoroki. Kids act so nice with her when she shows them her quirk amazing them, but Bakugou gets mad but she says: "How can you be so cross with the kids here. Look how adorable they are!" When they work together with Todoroki, Camie and Yoarashi, that's the part where Bakugou see how she can hava a golden heart with everyone even if moments are so cruel and confesses his feelings to her ending with a kiss
a/n: hi hun! thank you so much!! this request gave me a lot to work with, so i hope you enjoy it!! this week has been so crazy and stressful, my house almost caught on fire but everyone’s okay and we didn’t have any damage at all, we were very lucky but it was definitely scary lol
summary: bakugou’s crushing on you hard, and it’s worse when he realizes how kind you are, he can’t seem to wrap his head around you, everything about you is perfect, and when the moment is right, he tells you exactly how he feels.
key: (y/n) - your name / (f/n) - first name / (l/n) - last name / (e/c) - eye color / (h/c) - hair color / flower flames - your quirk
warnings: swearing, fluff

Flower-shaped flames look about as gorgeous and dangerous as they sound. The sight of rose or daises with the heat of an erupting volcano, it’s so beautiful to look at, but just as dangerous to get near.
From the moment Bakugou laid eyes on you, he’d always felt a little different. He’d still get angry or have his superiority complex, but his heart would beat a little faster than it usually did. The tips of his ears would be stained pink from the constant blush he usually held on his face when he spoke to you.
And the non-stop teasing from Kaminari and Mina about having a crush on you didn’t help. No matter how many times he tried to deny them, the thought of dating you still crept into his head when he laid in his bed, trying to fall asleep.
It was more of a challenge when he saw how sweet and kind you were to everyone, including him. It was a shock. Not really all that wild considering he has ‘friends’ but the notion of someone like you, who could probably never hurt a fly if you tried, despite having all the courage to beat up bad guy, being just as kind to Bakugou like he hadn’t called you an idiot for forgetting your pen in class.
It was the simple things you did for Bakugou that made his heart ached and his face warm. Like when you let him borrow your notes when he had to miss school for getting caught fighting with Midoriya.
Or the words you would always say to him when he got mad. The same words he’d heard so many times, the same words that made his heart skip a beat.
“Piss off!” Bakugou yelled toward Kaminari, stomping away from the electric prankster who had just silly-stringed the explosive blonde.
“Now, now, don’t you worry so. I’d hate to see that smile of yours disappear.” You nudge him and smile, walking beside him as he stares at you. It wasn’t the first time you’d said it to him, but it felt like the first time every time you said it.
It was one of the lines that felt almost too cinematic to be true, but nonetheless, he’d grumble something along the lines of ‘yeah okay shitty woman’ and walk away with a smirk.
What was a surprising kind of shock was when you didn’t pass the Hero License Exam. The three of you were the only students from 1-A that didn’t make it.
However, when the time for remedial lessons came, you were up early in the morning, ready to go. You beat Bakugou to the bus a few times, and despite you and Present Mic having loud conversations the entire trip both back and forth the few days you went, Bakugou still couldn’t find it in himself to lose feelings for you.
The more he looked at you, the more beautiful you seemed to get. He could gaze at you for hours, you were just so ethereal it was unreal. He felt chills when you would glance back at him and smile, and a pang of jealously when you would do the same for Todoroki, though you were just being nice.
However, the day you arrived and Gang Orca was leading the day’s session, there were some new things in store.
You stood with Bakugou and Todoroki, alongside Camie and Inasa. When the children were let into the building, you’re expression changed.
You thought you were going to have to do some intensive training exercise over some intense obstacle course. But you’re intense fighting face changed to something light and giggly.
You’d always worked pretty well with kids, and just being kind to them came naturally. Whether or not you liked them was a little more blurry, but nonetheless, they were little humans and they deserved the same kindness as anyone else did.
Bakugou and the others were pretty shocked, but you were one of the first ones to leave the line you’d been standing in to go mingle with the kids. You learned a few of their names and examined their quirks, watching in awe as the next generation of possible heroes stood before you.
They ran around, full of energy, and reminded you of your own youth.
“She’s sort of a natural with kids.” Camie commented, smiling as she watched you talk and laugh with a group of girls.
“She’s just naturally kind.” Todoroki said plainly. He wasn’t wrong, but the comment was almost unintentionally an insult in Bakugou’s eyes.
Bakugou’s eyes twitched as he examined the sight. Kids. Children. How the hell was this supposed to help him get his hero license? What purpose did this even serve?
Bakugou was getting targeted for looking so bold, his hero costume having a few flashy colors and some rather dangerous components, he was trying his best not to hurt anyone, taking off his gauntlets.
One kid was persistent in getting on his nerves.
“Shut it you little-”
“Bakugou!” You yelled, earning his attention. His head snapped up instantly as he held the kid off the ground by the collar of his shirt.
“Put him down.” You sighed, walking over to the two. Bakugou’s set him down and huffed, watching as the kid stuck his tongue out and ran off to go attempt to torment the other students taking their remedial lessons.
“He was asking for it! The little punk.” Bakugou mumbled, eyeing the children as they ran around rambunctiously.
“Watch and learn big boy.” You pat his shoulder as you turn around and approach a group of the kids. Bakugou eyes you closely, trying to figure out what they were doing.
With a few words of caution, you began to show off your quirk, allowing the children to watch as you created flower-shaped flames.
The children watched in amazement as did Bakugou. They were so impressed and excited over your quirk. Bakugou didn’t see how they were acting so calm, yet it gave him a few ideas.
He was still pretty mad. When you were done presenting your quirk, the kids were happy, and ready to see more. You returned to Bakugou and nudged his side.
“How can you be so cross with the kids here? Look how adorable they are!” You smiled, gazing at the crowd before you.
“I’m not mad-”
“Your hair tends to be a bit spikier when you’re angry.” You comment, ruffling his blonde locks between your fingers as he tenses under your soft touch.
“It does not!” Bakugou protests. You smile and shake your head.
Eventually, it all comes to an end and you all inspire the kids. Showing off and using your quirks to help them use theirs, you create something beautiful when the time is up.
Ready to leave, Bakugou knows he’s got to tell you what’s been on his mind. Everyone is standing around waiting for the next bus to head back to the campus. Bakugou pulls you aside before you manage to walk out.
“Listen dumbass.” Bakugou begins. You tilt your head to the side, ready to listen like you always do.
“You really make me feel weird.” Bakugou grumbles.
“But it’s a good kind of weird. Like I like you or something. And I want to be your boyfriend.” Bakugou shoves his hands in his pockets, his fingers gripping his thumbs from his nerves.
For being a guy who’s got a pretty big ego, he was practically falling apart at the seams confessing his feelings for you. You can’t help but smile at his confession.
“Well, I’d like to be your girlfriend.” You lightly punch his shoulder, watching as his cheeks turn a shade of crimson. In a flash, he crashes his lips on yours.
It’s quick but sweet. He acted out of impulse, and when he pulled away he was embarrassed.
“Sor-” Going to apologize he was cut off by another kiss, this time initiated by you pulling his tie, pulling him into you.
Your lips moved against his sweetly as you kissed him, reassuring him that it was okay.
When you pulled away, you couldn’t help but smile and feel some heat rise to your cheeks.
“You’re sitting next to me on the bus.” Bakugou huffed, sliding a hand in yours.
“Alright. But don’t yell at me if I fall asleep. I’m exhausted.” You yawn, your fingers intertwined with Bakugou’s.
The bus ride back to school felt much longer, probably because you were so tired, but dozing off on Bakugou’s shoulder certainly helped. And you couldn’t wait to see what the future held for the two of you.

Sea Thieves: Old Scars
TW: Past trauma, panic attacks, scars.
Alkai belongs to @mochamashi and Harp belongs to me! Written for @kiokodoodles / @okay-kioko 's mermaid/pirate AU
(first thing I write for this AU is angst/hurt/comfort. Dunno if that's good or bad.)
"Okay. This is gonna be great! We're gonna have so much treasure after this."
Harp swam alongside the beta fish mermaid, rolling her eyes. "Everything's about treasure for you."
"Says the selkie who has almost gotten killed cuz of her stomach."
Harp stuck her tongue out at Alkai, pouting. "I was HUNGRY, okay?"
"Yeah, I know. You're ALWAYS hungry. That's the only reason why you decided to team up with me in the first place."
"Nuh uh. I also thought you were cool and wanted to be your friend."
Alkai turned their gaze to her and gave Harp a sharp toothed grin. "Awww, shucks. You're too nice."
Harp grinned, lacing her fingers behind her head and swimming backwards. "Aren't I?"
"Now you're starting to push it."
"No take-backs!"
.
.
.
After a bit of swimming, the hull of a fairly large ship came into view. Alkai grabbed onto one of the planks and glanced at Harp. "Okay. Plan is you sneak up and grab some food and treasure. Once the coast is clear I'll come up and grab some more treasure. If you get caught, I'll rescue you, and then we'll escape."
Harp nodded firmly, gripping the strap of her satchel. "Got it."
She swam towards the surface, grabbing onto one of the nets hanging just above water level. As she pulled herself up, she focused her mind on her lower seal half and changed her tail into a pair of human legs, her seal skin appearing around her shoulders. She climbed the rest of the way up, peeking over the edge of the ship to make sure nobody was in sight before clambering over the railing and pulling her bunched up brown dress out of her satchel. She removed her coat for a moment, a feeling of queasiness washing over her as the coat left her body. She quickly put on the dress and put on her seal coat over it, breathing a soft sigh of relief as the feeling of sickness vanished.
She hurried to the back of the ship, tiptoeing so she didn't alert any of the crew members that might be around. She carefully opened a heavy wooden door, and her eyes widened in delight at the sight of all the food. Her eyes immediately went to the crates of vegetables, dried meat, and biscuits, and she quickly snatched up several servings. Food acquired, she snuck out of the storage room. Now to find the gold.
.
.
.
Of course the treasure would be in the captain's room. He was either very paranoid or very arrogant to have his gold in his sleeping quarters. And seeing as he'd fallen asleep counting his money, it was likely the second option. Harp crept forward, slowly opening her satchel and taking small handfuls of coins and placing them in her bag as quietly as she could. She really didn't want to wake the captain up as he slept less than three feet away. As she was distracted by her thoughts about food, her hand moved too far forward into the pile of gold and sent the coins clattering loudly to the ground. The captain jolted upright and locked eyes with Harp.
Shit.
Harp turned on her heel and ran, bursting through the door of the cabin as the captain shouted for her to stop. Several other crew members emerged from below deck and quickly zeroed in on her. She stumbled over a coil of rope, one of her hands instinctively grasping at the bag at her side as she barely avoided faceplanting the wooden planks of the ship.
The other crew members were on all sides of her. The captain appeared behind her, eyes ablaze with rage. He looked furious, and Harp wasn't about to stick around to find out what he did to thieves. She turned and hooked one leg over the railing, her gaze dropping to the water.
She froze.
There were several large shapes beneath the water. Mostly black with white markings. Sharp, SHARP teeth. Beady black eyes stared at her.
Orcas.
Harp couldn't breathe. She was trapped. She couldn't go back in the water. She was way too slow for them- even if Alkai got to her in time to help, it would be two versus five at the bare minimum. She- she-
A hand gripped her arm and yanked her away from the railing. She flailed her arms desperately, shrieking in panic, trying to get away. Her arms were pinned to her sides, and the captain's scowling face came into view. "You.... How the Hell did you get on this ship?"
Harp forced herself to take deep breaths. Breathe.... In and out.... She met the captain's gaze hesitantly. "I.... I stowed away..."
The captain crossed his arms. "Liar."
Harp felt a shiver run down her spine as the captain stepped closer, his dark eyes cold, calculating, and knowing. "I.... I do-"
"My crew and I double checked every room, every crate, and every barrel. We checked the masts and the hull of the ship. There is no way you could've snuck on here."
The captain tilted his head, his gaze landing on her neck, where some of her spots were visible.
Oh... Oh no....
Harp swallowed. "I.... I..."
Before she could come up with a believable lie, she felt her coat being ripped off her shoulders, and she was immediately hit with a wave of nausea that made her vision spin. The crew member holding her handed her coat to the captain, much to Harp's horror. The captain examined the spotted pelt before looking up with a slight smirk. "No way you could've snuck on here... Unless you came from the ocean."
Harp could barely register his words. Her head hurt, her eyes weren't working properly, she couldn't BREATHE-
Something big and heavy swung from to the side and sent the captain flying. A familiar figure appeared from the other side of the ship, and Harp felt a wave of relief wash over her. Alkai was here.
The crew member released her and drew their saber, letting her fall to the deck. Harp tried to stand, but it felt like she'd drunk too much rum. Her legs were shaky and barely supported her weight, and her spinning head wasn't helping matters. She collapsed to the ground, her vision going white for a brief moment. Through her pounding head, she could hear the sounds of swords clashing against each other. She tried to stand up again, but her legs felt like mush. She heard the sounds of rapid footsteps approaching, and someone grabbed her under the arms and hauled her to her feet, carrying her toward the railing.
Alkai's voice floated through the fog in her mind. "Change back!"
She felt something soft be shoved into her arms, and she clung desperately to it as Alkai dragged her overboard. She barely remembered to hold her breath before they hit the water, the sudden cold almost making her black out. Change back.... Change back.... She gripped her pelt and wrapped it around her shoulders, the fog in her mind slowly beginning to dissipate. She felt her legs reforming into a tail, and as she looked around, her vision slowly started to get clearer. The boat was pretty far away, but she could still see things moving in the distance.
Don't think about them. She felt hands on her shoulders and turned her gaze to Alkai, whose brow was furrowed in concern. "Harp, stars, are you alright?!"
"Y... Yeah.... I.... I thought I was finished..."
Alkai exhaled slowly. "You froze. Why?"
Harp tilted her head in confusion. "... You didn't see them?"
"What? The orcas?"
"Yes!"
Alkai frowned for a moment before a look of understanding passed over their face. "Were you scared?"
Harp looked down. "..... Yeah...."
Alkai noticed her expression. "Hey, it's fine to be scared. But we need to get further away."
Harp nodded in relieved agreement.
.
.
.
"So.... Why are you scared of orcas?"
Harp and Alkai were sitting together in front of a small fire, drying their clothes and cooking some fish they'd caught. Harp stared at the fire, silently debating whether or not to tell them the whole truth. Alkai waited patiently beside her. "You don't have to talk about it if you really don't want to."
Harp shook her head, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "It's fine... Just.... Trying to decide where to start."
Alkai nodded. Harp took a deep breath. "I ran into an orca mermaid when I was younger. Orcas in general are already freakishly smart, but having one be half human is a recipe for a swimming murderhouse."
Alkai stared at her with large eyes. Harp gripped her arms. "I went out too far... I was trying to catch some fish for us- um, me and my family- to eat, but I wasn't paying attention.... And.... Then he appeared. I tried to get away, but.... Orcas are faster than seals and....."
Harp took a shaky breath, feeling Alkai gently rest their hand on her shoulder. "It's okay, Harp, you don't need to tell me everything."
Harp shook her head. "I want to tell you everything. I'm fine, I just.... need a minute."
After a few seconds of silence, she continued. "I escaped alive, obviously, but... Not unharmed. He gave me some nasty cuts on my back and tail."
"Really? How come I haven't seen them?"
Harp pulled down the back of her dress, turning her back to Alkai so they could see the upper area of her back. "Feel along my spine."
Alkai obeyed, and felt a slight groove next to her spine. A scar. "They're old, so... They're pretty hard to see unless you're looking for them..."
Alkai traced the pattern of almost invisible, jagged scars down her back. "Harp... Thanks for telling me..."
Harp nodded, letting go of her dress and turning to face them, eyes focusing on a very interesting twig next to her feet. "Yeah.... um.... That's why I'm scared of orcas..."
"Harp."
Harp looked up, confused. "Huh?"
Alkai's eyes were serious. "I won't let anything hurt you, especially any orcas. I promise."
Harp blinked her large eyes and smiled softly. "Thank you... You're a good friend, Alkai."
The two fell asleep looking at the stars, feeling just a bit closer than they were before.
~Aaaaah I finally finished this!~

So @musicfeedsmysoul12 made that post answering a fic title prompt, with the whole "izuku has a quirk that gives him a tail", they specifically mentioned a monkey tail. I love monkeys and I love Izuku so of course I tacked on and ended up assigning a monkey type, as well as aspects of the quirk, and how it changes/affects Izuku. Of course, I had to draw at least something for it. Doodles for Monkey Quirk! Izuku! Featuring a quickly put together design for his hero costume.
Tumblr media
(Click for better quality)
The original concept technically belongs to @musicfeedsmysoul12 and the anon who sent the prompt, but I was the one who added everything on about the quirk so under the cut I added some details, world building, and timeline changes that I thought of while I was drawing.
Quick warning, I wrote a lot.
I mentioned the monkey type he'd be most like are Capuchins, but that's more just a base of what the quirk is like, and not exactly what it replicates. Kinda like Hawks and Miruko. Hawks is named after just that, a hawk, but his wings don't have any specific bird-like features or patterns aside from having feathers. He really strays far from that, actually, with how the feathers work. Same with Miruko, she's not based on a specific kind of bunny or hare. She just has the standard ears, legs, and senses of one.
His body type would definitely be slimmer than canon Izuku, as his body had to adapt to the fact that he's constantly twisting and bending to get where he wants. Canonically, Izuku's body is a little too... I don't want to say stocky, but it's certainly not lithe. Make no mistake, this does not mean he lacks muscle. He has a lot more muscle in middle school than canon Izuku did at the time, this comes from constantly having to carry and swing his own body weight.
His entire body is covered in a thin layer of fur, but it's absent in his heels, palms, and under fingers on both his hands and feet. Fur would get in the way of gripping.
I kind of debated on which parent he gets the quirk from, because a mutation quirk like that has very low chances of being one a person can get with parents with non-mutant quirks. I decided on Hisashi. First of all, the idea just wouldn't leave my brain, and it was too cute. I headcanon Hisashi with white hair, so he'd just be this big fluffy white monkey and I couldn't let that go. Second, I think it'd be an interesting way for class 1A or others to learn about Izuku's dad in America by trying to speculate where Izuku got his quirk from. Sure, their face shapes are similar, they're both kind and emotional people, and both have green hair, but Izuku how the hell did you inherit a monkey mutation quirk from a low-range attraction one??
Honestly, I don't think Izuku would really have as many problems with bullying in this AU. Yes, people have speculated that mutant quirks are not exactly welcome wholly with open arms i the MHAverse, but Izuku's quirk is pleasing to look at. He's cute, and the quirk is actually pretty dang helpful. While people would poke fun at him, calling him hairy, or treat him like an animal or pull at his tail, it's certainly not enough to warrant suicide baiting. He'd definitely be self conscious of his quirk and appearance though. Honestly, most of it would be led by Bakugou like always, so it's not that anyone really sees Izuku as bad or anything of the sort, they're just following Bakugou's lead.
I also don't think he'd have the nickname Deku. Mutant quirks (or at least mutant features of quirks) had to be something that a person was born with, because honestly I find it very hard to believe that someone's body can change so drastically like that. That's bone that's actively changing and molding, not just skin, hair, cartilage, and brains. That would cause some serious health concerns, even in a world with powers like quirks. So Izuku was never really "useless" to Bakugou. He was helpful, he could climb trees other kids couldn't to get stuck toys. He could hear things even teachers didn't know about even through loads of kids yelling. He wouldn't have any reason to be called useless, because he earned the knowledge that at that time, he was more capable than the other kids. Maybe something like Ape, Gorilla, or even going really derogatory and referring to him like he's a freak in a circus act. Juggles, Freak, Hairy, Caveman. Those sorts.
I imagine Izuku would practice martial arts here, much like Ojiro. His quirk would certainly help him. He's be stuck close-range, with his fists and feet (and tail) so he'd have to learn how to actually fight, as opposed to people like Todoroki, who can blast fire and ice from a safe distance away. That's why he wears the fingerless gloves on his hands and feet in his hero costume, to protect the skin and fur if he's fighting or gripping. Bonus brass knuckles attached to the gloves on his hands for when he wants to throw a punch.
I don't see any possible way he could get his dreams crushed by All Might, much less have such an important question that would require him to grab onto his leg when he jumps. So Izuku more than likely doesn't get One For All, at least not before UA, if he ever does. I also don't think Izuku would idolize All Might so much. Yeah, he'd still admire the guy, but he'd probably be more focused on people like Hawks, Gang Orca, and Miruko. They have mutant quirks like his, they're people he can actively look up to. So even if he did have his dreams crushed by All Might, it certainly wouldn't affect him as much as it did in canon (not that it did much anyway lol, Izuku went right back to jumping into fights to save people)
The original prompt said that Ojiro would be a partner for Izuku, but I see some missed opportunities for ships with Shoji, or Tokoyami. Hell, I could even see it working out with Sero, Kirishima, and Asui.
Shoji and Tokoyami probably faced some bullying for their appearances. Shoji literally hides his entire lower face. Izuku would definitely be able to connect with them. Sero, in the fandom, has been called a Spiderman bootleg more times than I've drank water in my entire life. He'd definitely try to swing around for faster mobility and who best to help him with that than Izuku? They would so easily bond over teaching each other swinging tactics. Kirishima... it's kind of hard to put that into words, it just really feels like it could work in this AU. He;d be like a stable perch for Izuku, is I guess part of my thought process. And for Asui, well, she didn't have many friends in middle school. People often saw her as disturbing because of her struggle to express emotions through her face. Izuku faced something similar. The two would understand one another.
Though I still really like Ojiro pairing here too. Izuku would probably help him feel noticed, and we all know how compassionate and caring the greenette is. He'd be great for Ojiro.
Izuku would probably go for being an underground hero here? I also see him easily making it to at least the top 20 when he graduates, his quirk is pleasing to the eye and he's already great hero material in every way. But I also think he'd be an expert at sneaking into places that would normally be locked from access to heroes, seeing as he can pull and hold himself in places he could hide better in. I guess he'd be a twilight hero. Not quite underground, but not quite limelight. Just treading the line between them, kind of like Sir Nighteye.
That's all I have so far, but I love this so much. I definitely want to expand more on it and I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up writing something for it.

(requested by anonymous) Specter/Doc
“Hey.” The Doctor stirred as a familiar voice spoke in his ear. “Come on, just cuz you know I won’t punch ya doesn’t mean ya get off easy.”
“Specter? Oh heeeeey.” He wiped at his face, pulling away wetness and glassy rocks before opening his eyes to...what he could only guess was the aftermath of a bar fight.
The Abyss Hunter wiped some more blood and broken glass off, licking her hand afterwards. “Mm mm mm. Those assholes really did a number on ya, looks like.”
“‘Assholes?’ What’d we get into?” He rubbed the back of his exposed head. “I can’t remember shit.”
“That’s two of us, then. Must’ve been good, lookin’ at the sorry state they left ya in.” She, of course, was also covered in blood, but it was guaranteed it wasn’t hers.
The other lone survivor stood up to take in his surroundings better, and sure enough, they’d made a mess of the place. Broken glass, stools, and tables turning an open layout into a minefield; floor slick with spilled alcohol, smashed food, and of course plenty of blood; bodies in various states of dismemberment, most pooled in their own scarlet vein-soup. “Damn. How many ya think there were? Couple dozen?”
“Prob’ly. Ya feel like ya can walk? I’ll hold your hand all the way back to RI if I’ve gotta.” Specter smiled toothily. “Or if ya just want me to.”
“That even a question?” The Doctor leaned against her arm-first, slipping his hand onto her wrist so as not to interfere with her saw-holding (in case it came up).
Even with that little consideration, the shark-nun still kept it strapped behind her in order to hold his delicate, delicate hand. “Got your phone on ya?”
“Uh, yeah.” He pulled it out, checked the GPS and…“Where the hell are we?”
“Not near home?”
The Doctor chuckled. “You could say that ag- ekh!” He turned away from her to hack up a lung.
“Still got all your organs?” The Abyss Hunter checked the ground to be sure. “Looks like it. Let’s get out of here.”
“Yeah. Shit, where to, though? Don’t even have a compass reading.” He squinted at the diagram just to be sure, but nope, no pointers there.
Specter shrugged. “Straight. We’ll hit something one way or another.”
“That works.” He yawned. “Drag me wherever you want, Sharky.”
“Just stay awake, a’ight?” She could feel his heartbeat, which was fortunately still going, but not as fast as it usually did.
The ‘go straight’ plan was actually very easy to accomplish; occasionally, they had to pick a side, but to make it easier on the Doctor, the Abyss Hunter always went left so he could keep leaning heavily on her. Their path led them upwards, and the halls around them grew brighter and brighter until…“Oh! It’s Lungmen, Doc. We just went real deep in ‘er.”
“Great...I’ll call-”
“Nah, I got it.” ‘Sharky’ gently took the phone from him, found Skadi on the contact list, and waited for her to pick up. “Got drunk, smashed a bar, need a pickup. Thanks! Byeee. *click* That’ll do it.”
He squeezed her hand. “Thanks...I’m still bleeding somewhere, aren’t I?”
“Couple places. Not healin’ like ya thought ya would?...Wait, you don’t- Shit!” The Abyss Hunter wasn’t a healer, but-
“♪Hmmmm...♪Hmmmm...♪Hmmmm-mmmm...” The siren song of the orca was unmistakable as she slammed into the pavement in front of them a fair distance. “You let him get pretty beat up.”
The shark-nun growled. “Ya gonna give me shit for it or fix ‘im?”
“Fix him, obviously. ♪Hmmmm-mmm-mmmm hmmmm...” The wordless etude did reinvigorate him, letting him stand on his own after a minute or so.
“Thanks, Skadi.” The Doctor wrapped himself around Specter. “And thank youuuu for carrying me out.”
She kissed his forehead. “Still gotta get ya home, Doc.”
“Home’s wherever you are, anyway~”
“Regardless, Kal’tsit’s been looking for both of you, so we should get him back to Rhodes Island.” Skadi walked over to the Doctor’s other side. “Let’s go.”
He gave her a pointed look. “I can walk-”
“Not fast enough. Up for more walking, Shark?” The orca looked over her charge’s head.
“Ye, I’m good.” Specter took a step forward. “Let’s go.”
Outnumbered and far outmatched, the Doctor let himself be carried back to base; upon arriving, though, Skadi let go of him. “Have a good night.”
“You, too!...Is it just me, or was she jealous I hugged you?” He looked at Sharky curiously.
“Eh, who fucking cares?” She picked him up in a bridal carry now that he was healed enough to bend a bit. “You need a nap.”
What? “No I don’t.”
“Yeah ya do. Forgot you’re not made of sponge like me, so you’re gonna take your fixin’ meds, and I’m gonna make sure ya stay in bed. Get it?”
“Ohhh.” He smirked. “Got it.”
The Abyss Hunter squeezed him closer to her. “Ya better, because I’m not waitin’ on a fuckin’ Medic to okay ya to spend the night with me. ‘Specially not one of those other flirts I’ve seen make eyes at ya.”

The interrogation Room
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
You hear your phone ding with a message after a long day of undercover hero work. With a huff you pull your phone out of your pocket.
Gang🐳: Hey MorningStar, I know it’s late but we need you to help out with an interrogation
“UGGGGH” You take a long sigh and throw your head back. They call you Morningstar because of your very unique, and scary quirk. It allowed you to show others their greatest fears and nightmares, however with it came the very demon-esque, red skin, black wings, horns, fangs, and whole shabang.
👹: Is any one else gonna be there?
Gang🐳: 🐥
👹: I’ll be there 😇
Hell yeah, hawks is gonna be there. That definitely makes the trip worth it. You pop your phone back in your pocket and take on your darker form for easy travel.
******
With a huff you transform back and open the door, “Orca, I’m here”
You turn in the room and see GangOrca standing in front of the two way glass, looking menacingly. You walk up and look in, seeing nothing but hawks back ordained with his signature red wings.
Orca sighs and turns to you, “we brought in one of the members of the league, but he’s not talking, we figured you could use your quirk.”
“I can’t even see em behind birdbrains wings, why is he puffed up like that?” You give a light laugh.
Orca starts to head for the door,”Hawks is pissed, I think he’s tired and frustrated. I have been up for days, you’ve got this covered?”
You nod and wave a goodbye and he walks out of the door. You look at the control panel for the one way glass, careful not to press the button that would reveal you on the other side. With a glance at your hair in your darkened phone screen, you turn on your quirk and step into the interrogation room.
“MorningStar” Hawks voice reaches your pointed ears and you look up at him.
“Y/N?” A much more familiar voice catches your attention and you look over at the person sitting across from him.
A blush reaches your already red face and your intimidation factor flies out the window, “Dabi?” His blue eyes look steadily at yours and he fights off a sly grin.
Hawks looks between you too and scowls, “I’m sorry am I missing something here?”
With an uncomfortable look you walk up to where Hawks is sitting in his chair. You learn up toward his ear, avoiding even looking in Dabi’s direction.
“I’m sorry but I can’t help you with this case, I’ll assign someone else to help you,” you whisper into his ear while he looks at you from the side of his eye.
He whispers back to you with a look,”What do you mean you can’t help? Is there something-“
Dabi interrupts, “So y/n did you change your bed sheets yet?”
You whip your head around to face him and glare while Hawks turns to do the same to you.
“Y/n?” Hawks voice almost sounds like a growl, “what the fuck is this about your bed sheets, have you slept with him?”
Dabi chimes in once again with an arrogant look on his face, “slept? She SLEEPS with me.. But normally only after I fuck her brains out.”
With a flash of feathers Hawks grabs you by the wrist and pulls you into the other room,” What the hell is all of this? You’re sleeping with a villain?”
You raise a hand defensively, “I had no idea he was a villain until now! The agency hasn’t showed me any information on the league cases”
Hawks grip on your wrist tightens “What does he give you that I couldn’t Y/N?” Hawks other hand grabs your face roughly as his wings loom over you. “Does he treat you like a little slut y/n? Is that what you want?”
Your heart pounds in your chest and a blush comes to your face, “h-hawks”
His lips crash into yours passionately and he backs you against a wall, pinning your hand above you. With his other hand he lifts your leg and presses against you.
“If you wanted a villain so bad you should‘be just told me, I’ve been waiting to treat you like the dirty little slut you are”
His lips meet your neck and you close your eyes in delight. A whispy red feather floats over to the control panel, pressing the little button turning off the blur on the one way glass.

Virgil loved Halloween. Some monsters viewed it offensive or rude, but as a werewolf he just thought it was cool he was able to walk around with his tail hanging out and his ears flipping every which way without humans questioning it. They just thought he was really good at costuming.
Which… technically he was, but helping vampires who come out of one hundred year naps blend into human society to avoid monsters being hunted again wasn’t exactly the type of costuming people really expected.
Thankfully his current client had literally just woken up, and his Victorian era clothes weren’t questioned tonight either and Remus was free to look around and get himself more acquainted with the new world he’d woken up in.
“And you’re sure biting people for a meal is still forbidden by high council laws?” Remus asked, already getting the hang of talking like someone from the modern world.
It probably helped that Virgil refused to indulge his old timey speak and was doing his best to ignore every time Remus flirted with him.
“Dude. You’ve asked this like five hundred times now, yes it’s still forbidden. And yes you’re still allowed to ask another monster to be a donor, and no I still haven’t decided if I’m gonna accept your offer or not, I’ve got a job and a life there’s a lot to consider.”
Remus looked back at Virgil just as he smiled awkwardly at a kid who got really excited about his moving ears.
“You’re wagging your tail,” he commented, and Virgil flushed a bright red as he pushed his tail firmly against the back of his legs to keep it from moving.
“Shut up, you decided it was a good idea to take a one hundred year nap at the turn of the century and missed an entire era to get here.”
Remus grinned at him, and Virgil ignored his heart flipping because try as he may, he could not deny the fact that Remus is really attractive.
Couldn’t a vampire die ugly for once? It’d make his job so much easier if every smile he got from a vampire client didn’t make his stomach drop and his face burn.
“To be fair, I didn’t willingly take that nap. I fell asleep and I suppose my body decided it was time for a new era. Good decision too, given it lead to me the prettiest werewolf I’ve ever seen.”
Oh god, the flirting is back.
“I can’t imagine you’ve met very many werewolves then,” Virgil mumbled, pulling up his hood and flattening his ears so it didn’t sit weird on his head.
It’s not that he didn’t believe he was good looking. As far as werewolves go, a lot he’s met didn’t bother trying to learn the proper hygiene for both their human body and their fur, but it was his only reaction when a ridiculously hot vampire was flirting with him.
“Are you doubting the integrity of my words? Alright, how about we go into a den of werewolves and I drain the first one I see prettier than you.”
Virgil stopped walking for a second to stare at Remus, trying to figure out if he was serious or not, before sighing.
“No. Seriously? The closest den houses my pack why the hell would I let you do that?”
Remus shrugged, looking ahead and looping his arm into the crook of Virgil’s elbow as he suddenly started walking, almost too fast for Virgil to keep up without tripping.
“Woah, where the hell are we going?” he asked, regaining his footing only for Remus to wink at him and pick up his pace again.
They went into the woods, though Virgil thought they could hardly be called that, and Remus didn’t stop for what felt like twenty minutes all the while not answering a single question Virgil threw at him.
“You don’t trust easily, do you Virgil?” Remus asked, finally slowing enough that Virgil could walk without stumbling.
“Well no? Monsters aren’t exactly trustworthy and humans are even worse.”
Remus just hummed before stopping with a small frown a few feet away from a fence.
“That’s… Well I suppose it has been one hundred years. I’ll have to find another spot then.”
Virgil pulled his arm from Remus’ grip and brushed himself off.
“If you want a lot of forested area, there’s a few spots I think in Europe you can manage that. But if you don’t wanna leave the continent you’d probably wanna go to more rural areas and make yourself a local legend or something.”
“Hm. And how would you feel housing a vampire in your den?” Remus asked, making Virgil look up at him.
The grin there was so full of trouble and yet Virgil’s heart flipped just like it’d been doing all night.
“Absolutely not. I don’t live in the den. I have an apartment and keep in touch with the pack regularly.”
Remus’ grin grew wider, and Virgil couldn’t tell if he regretted sharing that information or not.
“Well then, how about I live with you until you get my modern wardrobe figured out and I can find a place to stay.”
Virgil let out a long groan, because if he caved he was definitely going to fall in love with this stupidly attractive vampire.
“Fine! Fine, if it’ll get you to shut up about me being your donor or whatever. Yeah you can stay with me for a few weeks.”
The grin on Remus’ face showed his fangs this time, and Virgil instinctively ran his tongue over his own canines before he let out a long sigh.
“I’m absolutely going to regret this. You’re lucky you’re cute,” he muttered, smiling the smallest smile when Remus snorted loudly in response.
He hoped this wouldn’t awaken anything in him, but Virgil didn’t really have his hopes high. Especially with how many times Remus almost made Virgil’s heart leap right out of his chest or get lodged into his throat.

part 1 | part 2 |
Tumblr media
Things were good with Keigo for a while, when you both had a day off of work you would spend hours watching movies and doing all the couplely things that you would roll your eyes to.
That was before he stopped turning up to your dates, before he stopped sitting at the bar during your shifts to help them go by quicker, and before he no longer replied to your texts.
It had been 3 weeks since you heard from him, his last response to you was “Yeah” and nothing else. You had called and text him multiple times since, but he stopped reading them in the first week.
It was exactly 3 days ago when you sent him one last text asking if you were over and he hadn’t responded - you could only take that as a ‘yes’.
The thought of something happening to him during a patrol crossed your mind, but you’d seen through social media and the news that he’d been going out to parties and had been seen recently. There was no excuse you could have given him, he was ignoring you.
Trying to savour the last of your pride, you blocked his number. You weren’t interested in anything he had to say.
At least you still had your job. You’d actually picked up more shifts at the bar since your ‘break up’ to try and keep yourself busy, there was something about spending time alone in your apartment that reminded you of him.
It hurt, you weren’t going to lie to yourself, it probably hurt more than it should have done. But this was the first time you had let down your guard for someone, and this was how they treated you.
You tried not to think about it.
It was your 9th consecutive shift at the bar and some of your regulars had started to notice that you were working more than normal, as well as your boss.
“You working more shift’s has actually improved our business, a lot of the customers are showing up more just because you’re here more often” they had said before the start of your shift, then they proceeded to slide your pay check across the table to you.
When you opened it up and saw that your pay rate had increased, you opened your mouth to ask if there was a mistake, you didn’t want them on your ass about it later down the line.
“You earned it” they said, giving you a pat on the back as they left the bar in your hands. It was a Thursday night, so you were in charge of a small team, mainly first year college kids trying to pay rent.
This shift was going on as normally as any other, when 10pm struck the normal crew of Heroes strolled in, probably wanting to relax from their hard day of patrols and fighting.
“Endeavour, you’re looking as happy as ever” you joked with the man sitting at the bar, he grumbled slightly as you instinctively started making his usual. “What’s got you looking extra gloomy today?” you asked him, just wanting some conversation out of someone over the age of 18.
“Paperwork” he mumbled before taking the freshly made drink from your hands and knocking it back, apparently it had really been a bad day. “Oh, ew” you tried to sympathise with him, “We’ve got this whole charity Gala coming up soon and for some reason it’s fallen on me to organise it” by the time he had finished explaining he had finished his drink.
Almost like a conveyer belt, as soon as the glass touched the counter, you had already scooped it up and started giving him a refill. “Actually that reminds me-” he said, wiping away the residue of alcohol that had fallen onto his beard “-are you free this Saturday?” he made eye contact with you, something Endeavour rarely did. You felt a chill go down your spine.
Mentally going through your calendar, you remembered your boss forcing you to take the weekend off, something about labour law and you not being legally allowed to work that many days.
“I might be” you side eyed him as you put his second drink down, “Why? Are you trying to get me alone?” you casually raised an eyebrow at him, it had been so long since you had flirt with anyone, the feeling was strange but not so completely alien to you.
To your surprise, a deep chuckle and a slight smile came out of him, “Someone else has organised the catering and they’re insisting they bring their own bartender”, as soon as he said the last word you knew where this was going, “I don’t trust them, I’d rather have someone I know is capable” he never broke eye contact with you.
Immediately you were trying to think of an excuse to say no, you wished you had said you were working “I-” you started but was interrupted “Hawks will be there-” now it was your turn to interrupt him by groaning “Please don’t talk to me about him” you rolled your eyes.
Honestly, it was the first time you had heard his name since everything, “I thought you guys had a thing going on?” Endeavour asked, yet again, finishing his drink - you had no idea where he put all that alcohol. “Yeah, well, so did I. Until he ghosted me” you weren’t exactly sure why you were being so open with the number one Hero, but here you were.
“I’m sorry” he sounded as though he actually meant it, if you weren’t already looking at him, you would have doubted it left his mouth. “I still need someone, and with you I’d know the event was going to be a success, I’ll pay you more than you get here” his tone was still soft, as though he was walking on glass, but he knew what he wanted.
Poking your tongue out between your lips to wet them before you spoke, you feigned cockiness “Actually, I just got a raise, apparently people come here to see me”, before you had even finished your sentence, he had raised an eyebrow as though you were insulting him.
“Whatever they’re paying you, I’ll double it” straightened his back as though now that he was talking business the niceties were gone. “Double a shift’s wage? That’s not worth-“ he cut you off, “Double your yearly, for one night” he folded his arms.
If you had been drinking something, you’d have spat it out, but instead your eyes flickered in disbelief and your mouth parted slightly.
Smirking, knowing he’d basically won you over already, he wrote down the details on a napkin and handed it to you along with 50 thousand Yen - before you could question it, he spoke up “It’s a black suit event so get something nice for yourself”.
He didn’t wait for confirmation before changing the subject, at least he kept you company for the rest of the night.
You’d taken Endeavour’s advice and went shopping for a new black dress for the Gala, you had to at least look the part even if you didn’t want to be there. The dress you decided on was tight and hugged you in all the right places, it was very flattering, you had debated on whether or not to go for a nice dress, but you didn’t want to waste the money he’d given you.
Before you could really prepare yourself, you were setting up your space in the huge Gala hall. You’d turned up early so you could add some finishing touches to your bar before all the Heroes started turning up, you’d be more efficient if you knew where every type of alcohol was.
You’d taken the liberty of bringing some of the cocktail shakers from your work so you were familiar with the tools, but they had already supplied you with enough for a small team. Although, when the clock rolled around to 10 minutes before the Heroes were supposed to turn up, there was no sign of any other bartenders.
If Endeavour had hired you and only you, he was going to get an earful, Number One Hero or not.
That was exactly what he had done.
At first you slightly panicked, wondering how the hell you were going to manage so many orders all at once, but there were about 30 Champagne Waitresses making their rounds on the floor that kept everyone away from you.
Not to say that you weren’t extremely busy, but you were able to serve the Heroes fast enough that you were able to put on a bit of a performance, doing your normal tricks of tapping the cocktail shaker and changing the liquid contents as it was being poured into people’s glasses.
Like normal, the onlookers were amazed.
It still befuddled you that in a world of crime-fighting Heroes, someone who could change colours was something to gape at. Your quirk was more for show than practicality really.
When the majority had some type of alcoholic drink in their hand, the speeches started, everyone had stopped what they were doing to listen to the grey haired man talk about the charity that this whole thing was for and give a list of thank you’s that seemed to go on forever.
Meanwhile, you decided to utilise this time to clean down your bar and restock some of the empty bottles, you weren’t quite sure what was going on with Gang Orca but he’d nearly finished a whole bottle of vodka by himself so you were keeping an eye on him. He seemed completely fine with no sign of intoxication, maybe his huge form was absorbing the alcohol.
You were sure as soon as this presentation had finished you were going to be swamped, even you were feeling the need for a drink, and oh boy were you right.
The moment the dim lights were brought back up and the music was turned back on there wasn’t a single space by the bar that wasn’t full. You expected people to start getting impatient because they were having to wait for their drinks, but strangely they were more than happy to wait and chat to you and each other, the amount of tips you were getting tonight would be enough to pay your rent for 2 months.
After the swarm of people were served and you had a second to breathe, you froze, golden eyes staring awkwardly at you “Shot of tequila” he bluntly said, he didn’t even have the manners to ask like everyone else was. You gave him a similarly cold response by just nodding and putting the shot glass on the metal surface with a little bit too much force and pouring the golden liquid into it, you also gave him a wedge of lime and gave him the salt shaker.
Without saying anything, he handed you the money and took his shot. You both seemed to breathe a breath of relief when the Number One Hero parted the line of people and approached the bar, you smiled maybe too much upon seeing him.
“Endeavour!” Hawks exclaimed when he saw his partner, “Have a shot with me!” he continued and you instinctively started preparing his normal tumbler of whiskey. Enji grumbled at the young heroes request, you would have died on the spot if you saw Endeavour do a shot.
After placing the his empty glass on the wood in front of him, you quickly washed your hands in the miniature sink the event space had provided you, dried them on your small towel, and scooped up three cubes of ice.
Both men looked at you with intent, you had served them enough for them to know this wasn’t your normal routine.
You allowed one cold cube to run down your palm and to the tip of your fingers, the second before it left your touch, you turned the white object into a gorgeous red. Uncurling your pinkie and ring-finger, you let the other two pieces do the same thing - changing the second one to orange and then the last one to yellow.
A small crowd of a few customers were ogling at what you were doing as though they had never seen it before, or it may have been because someone was paying attention to the Number One Hero despite everyone’s fear of him.
It was nice to see him smiling, but it was even better to see the faint grimace on Keigo’s face. Good, you thought. After the way he treated you, you wanted him to know what he was missing.
Endeavour reached out for the glass but before he could grab hold of it you slapped his hand playfully, you heard a few faint gasps in the miniature crowd that had formed, and a couple of terrified glances towards the Pro Hero on your behalf.
“Be patient” you smirked at him, you had to admit it to yourself, you were being very brave. You barely knew this man apart from his drink order, being so informal with him was a huge risk as you didn’t know how he would react.
He chuckled at your coyness, and your heart relaxed.
Cupping your hand in front of his face, you poured his favourite whiskey into your hand and let it run through your fingers, you held the bottle high enough so people could see the dark brown liquid flowing out of the nozzle and then quickly drizzle out between your fingers as a golden-yellow with bright red swirls.
Once you had poured the right amount into the glass, you pushed the tumbler towards him and washed the remaining alcohol off your hand before it became sticky.
“I’m surprised he let her do that” someone mumbled a little bit too loudly, then another voice piped up “It’s not very hygienic”. Endeavour was happily sipping at his drink while Keigo was doing his best not to make eye contact with you still, this was too good of an opportunity to give up, so you mustered up all your courage and said in the most confident tone you could “It’s okay, he knows where my hands have been”.
If you weren’t mistaken, everyone inhaled sharply at the exact same time, all but Enji who side-eyed Keigo and then put his eyes back on you with a knowing glint - something told you that he knew what you were trying to do and understood his role. Maybe your hands would stop shaking sometime soon now that you knew he was going along with it.
“Thank you for the dress by the way” you added, gently placing your hand on his arm for a second before going back to serving the line of customers you had, you felt as though there was enough of an audience to make your point, “It fits you nicely” was all he added, it was more of a response than you were expecting.
Deciding it was probably best to not push your luck too much with the flame hero, you turned your attention to the multiple pairs of eyes looking at you “What do you guys think?” doing a little twirl with what little space you had, of course the chorus of men erupted into whoops and cheers- you think you even heard Present Mic yelling “Hot” from one of the other stands.
Satisfied with the scene you had caused, you went back to pouring drinks, using all sorts of tricks you’d never been able to do before. You changed the whole bar to whatever colour the current customer wanted, even going as far as to change your own hair colour to gain praise from them.
Honestly, you were starting to feel like your old self again, that was until you saw something small and red weave it’s way through the different pumps and towards you.
Slamming your hand down on the bar and hard as you could, you crushed the delicate feather under your force, “If I see another feather come across this line-“ you drew and invisible line across the wood with your finger “-I’ll cut you off” you said bluntly, throwing the feather back towards it’s owner.
He opened his mouth to say something but you interrupted him, “Do you want to get thrown out?”, he chuckled to himself slightly and shook his head “Like you could” his tone was playful yet arrogant, “I don’t have to” you put the emphasis on ‘I’ and shifted your gaze toward Enji who had coincidentally caught your eye, he very lightly smiled at you and gave a small gesture that you assumed was a wave.
That was the last straw, Keigo’s tone shifted and he stormed away from the bar, the entire night passed and you didn’t see him again. A part of you was glad, you didn’t have to keep looking over your shoulder, but that pit in your stomach was back, and just as you had started to feel better.
On the plus side, you didn’t have to clean and close the bar, the venue had hired some cleaners to take care of all the mess after everyone was done. Thank God.
The walk home was quiet and lonely, it was about 3am and most people had gone to sleep hours ago, so the ominous hum of streetlights really put you on edge- that, and that nervous feeling of being watched.
You tried to hurry along the uneven ground as quickly as you could, not wanting to tempt fate too much; how ironic would it have been? To be attacked by a Villain after spending an evening with Heroes.
A gust of wind blew your hair into your face and blocked your vision entirely for a few seconds, it was quickly followed by a force connecting with your back and then wrapping around your front.
You felt your feet leave the ground and the harsh whistle of wind rushing past your ears deafened you - your senses were blocked off. The wind was too loud to hear, and your hair acted like a self-inflicted blindfold, you were so disorientated that you thought you were going to be sick.
When your feet finally touched solid ground and the force holding you ease up, you stumbled forwards and fell to your knees, hands spread out in front of you. “What’s going on with you and Endeavour?” you heard a familiar voice say from behind you, you could not believe this.
“What?!” you exclaimed, aggressively turning yourself so you were now half laid down on the floor, you saw Hawk’s standing in front of his open window with the moonlight shining behind him casting a silhouette. “You kidnapped me to ask me about Endeavour?” you vocalised how ridiculous the situation was.
Hawk’s folded his arms in frustration, “You seemed pretty cosy with him earlier” he said bluntly, “So what if I was?” you bit back, your emotions were high and you didn’t know which voice to listen to - you were pissed off beyond your control, hurt and mildly frightened.
You knew Hawk’s wouldn’t hurt you, but the amount of hate in his eyes made you question him for a moment.
“Is that how it is? You moved on from to my partner?” he sounded disgusted with you and to be completely honest you were glad, he had hurt you so much in such a short amount of time it felt as though he was getting what he deserved.
“What do you care?” you snarled at him and turned your head away, not wanting to look at him. “What do I-?” he started but interrupted himself by rubbing his hand down his face. “Of course I care!” he extended his arms towards you as you dragged yourself up off the floor and brushed the flakes of dust and dirt off your new dress.
“If you cared about me you wouldn’t have left” you mumbled to yourself, not intending for him to hear but it seems regardless of whether or not he heard, he wanted you to say it again “What did you say?!” he raised his voice, to match his aggression you raised your voice louder “If you cared about me you wouldn’t have left!”.
There was silence for a moment, no words, just the sound of heavy breathing as you both decided whether or not it was worth carrying on this subject.
“Take me home” you gave up, exasperated at the situation. All you had wanted for the last couple of weeks was to hear from Keigo, and for him to tell you that you were still together, but now that you were actually in front of him, you wanted nothing more than to disappear.
He took a few steps towards you, “No-” he forced the air out of his throat like a bullet coming out of a gun, “-Not until you admit it” he continued, his hostile tone never wavering. “Admit what?” you laughed dryly, “Are you fucking Endeavour?” he asked bluntly and your jaw almost hit the floor.
“Not that it’s any of your business, but no I’m not” you answered him honestly, folding your own arms and glancing around towards the front door, if he wouldn’t take you home you would have to take yourself.
“How is it none of my business?” he snapped at you, “Because you left me!” you shouted over the top of him before he managed to finish his sentence, “I gave you every part of me and you couldn’t even be bothered to send a goodbye text” you finally let out what you felt like you had been holding onto for your whole life.
Taking a deep breath in and then with a sharp exhale you said, in a calmer tone “I’m leaving”, without giving him the option to respond you marched your way towards the apartment door.
Before you could take hold of the handle you felt your shoulder being pulled around and your body being pushed against the door, the next thing you saw were two golden eyes staring back at you .
“Let me go” you said through gritted teeth, “Not until you’ve listened to me” he was talking in a hushed voice as though all the anger and upset had left him in that instant, “I don’t want to-” you started but it was his turn to interrupt you, “You have no idea how dangerous my job is, the type of people I’m working with-” he stopped mid-sentence to glance around the room as though he was being watched.
“I was there every night, I watched you walk home from work to make sure you were okay” his voice was starting to crack and you could see water starting to well up in his bottom eye lid, “I missed you so much, but I had to keep you safe”.
Watching him come undone in front of you, you felt a pit fall in your stomach as extreme guilt flushed over you.
Your body moved without you asking it to and before you knew it your hands were wrapped in his hair and your lips were against his.
The kiss started as soft and gentle, but as soon as the shock had left his system he cupped your face in his hand and started kissing you as though it was the last time.
Things got heated very quickly, Keigo pushed the hem of your dress up until it was bunched up at your waist and wasted no time shuffling your underwear down for you to step out of.
Unbuckling his belt like he wouldn’t live to see tomorrow, he let his jeans fall to the floor as he picked you up by your thighs and pushed you further into the door. His kisses became more erratic as he lowered you onto his cock.
The euphoria you both felt as the familiar sensation of him filling you again flooded to your brain, you gripped his shoulders tighter to try and stay stable. Instantly he started moving his hips, dragging himself in and out of you at a rapid pace.
The apartment was filled with a mixture of Keigo’s grunts, your moans and the door sounding as though it was on the brink of death. “I missed you so much” he mumbled against your neck as he dug his fingers into your bare thighs, his thrusts were ruthless and you could feel that you were getting close to your orgasm.
“I missed you too” you managed to breath out in between moans. You could feel the friction of your back rubbing against his door and you knew you would be waking up with a bruise. But you didn’t care.
Before either of you could say anything else you felt your walls clench down around him, emphasising every muscle and vein in his member, Ah, fuck” he growled, pushing himself even further into you as you let him pound you through your orgasm.
He grunted a couple of times and his mouth hung open, he moved one of his hands to hold your shoulder down as the pressure of his chest against yours held you in place. “I love you” he confessed, locking eyes with you, you were still panting from your own high so you weren’t able to respond, “I lo-” he started to say before he snapped his hips against yours and you felt him cum inside of you.
Flopping his head forward so your foreheads were touching, neither of you moved to allow the moment to last as long as it could- neither of you wanting your bubble of bliss to be popped.
“I mean it” he barely even whispered as he pulled his head away so he could look you in the eye, “I do love you” he repeated himself. Your heart leapt, your relationship hadn’t gone on long enough for either of you to have said the ‘L’ word yet.
But being away from him these last couple of weeks solidified how you truly felt, “I love you too” you smiled at him as he kissed your forehead.

Masked Singer Season 5 Episode 3 Recap: Group A Returns With a Wildcard (Commentary & Guesses)
Hi guys! Welcome or welcome back to Ana’s Masked Singer recap, where I, Ana, recap every single episode of The Masked Singer. Ok, so I'm on time this time I swear (I try to do these the weekend after the show airs or Friday), and now we are starting to get the wildcards which was super exciting and Joel Mchale was guest judging so it was a very fun episode to watch! We’re back onto Group A but this time someone new joins the group, so stay tuned until the end to talk about that someone. Anyways, let’s get into it, starting with the eliminated contestant:
So the eliminated mask was...
*DRUMROLL PLEASE*
The Raccoon 🦝
Tumblr media
Commentary: honestly, I am not even the slightest bit surprised that he got eliminated... he should have gone home earlier but that’s neither here nor there, the Masked Singer likes to do that to us so whatever. But like honestly this is gonna sound mean, and look, not everyone is a singer, and he gave it the good old college try and I respect the hell out of that, but omg all I gotta say about his performance of Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash is yikes. That’s it, that’s all I gotta say about that... anyways, let’s reveal this rodent or mammal, idk man who told you guys I was an animal expert?!
Raccoon was revealed to be (I got this one too yay!)
Danny Trejo
Tumblr media
Yeah, I guessed it baby! I even have proof, just look at my 1st recap of the season and it’s there, I got it! Yayyy! Anyways, I mean I know him, I have seen him around ofc (he has done a lot of acting and he even has a restaurant and everything), but like he can’t sing and that’s ok, he had fun, it’s what matters. Good job Danny Trejo and thank God he’s gone because finally my ears can be in peace.
Having said that, let’s move onto our remaining 4 (yes, 4 because wildcard baby!):
1. Seashell 🐚
Tumblr media
Commentary: Her performance of Confident by Demi Lovato was to me much better than her last performance. It seemed like she was more confident (hehe no pun intended) in this one, kind of came into her own and let out the power in her voice. She was a bit timid and nervous in the first performance and it kind of reminded me of how Jellyfish started out, but this one was a lot more diva and powerful, I enjoyed it a lot. I really love Seashell, she is quickly becoming one of my favorite contestants (except nobody can beat my favorite who you will see in a moment)
I am doubling down on my guess:
Tamera Mowry
Tumblr media
Clues/Reasoning: ok, like this one I feel super confident about and the clues kind of seal the deal for me:
The doodle of “Seashell with the shell mask on”= reference to the intro of Sister Sister
A certain shell man asked her out and the baseball on the screen= she is talking about her husband, Fox News correspondent Adam Housley (which btw is another reason why she is on this show, bc it runs in the Fox family), who used to be a professional baseball player (oh and the required her to do things she was scared of means that he helped her feel more comfortable about being on TV aka when she was on the Real)
2 minute stopwatch= she’s older than her twin sister, Tia, by 2 minutes haha 😂 (this was a very weird thing to be like yeah bro ik that... again I say, Google is a magical thing)
2. Robopine 🦔
Tumblr media
Commentary: He sang All of Me by John Legend and honestly song choice was 👌, like I would have picked that for him too. It was absolutely stunning and I can just close my eyes and enjoy the song, which that’s what some of the best ballad performances tend to do. I absolutely loved it, he is my favorite, if you can’t tell, and this was my favorite performance of the night. I have a prediction that Robopine might make it to the finals honestly because he is just that amazing.
I am changing my guess and I am more confident now with:
Tyrese Gibson
Tumblr media
Reasoning/Clues: alright so I know that he isn’t 60 but I have a feeling he is lying about that and that he’s from Costa Rica (that’s too direct of a clue to be true you know and I feel like he is lying... Ken did say in the beginning that Robopine is the most confusing, so I do think that he is lying)... anyways clue time:
A lot of superhero clues= he will be playing one in Jared Leto’s Morbius film from Marvel
The lying means something = he has an album called Alter Ego, someone in the YouTube comments told me that he did a shoot with GQ called “60 the new 30” so that’s where the age thing might come from
IT SOUNDS A LOT LIKE HIM, OK?! Legit this is the most logic bomb I can give you right here... he’s trying to fool us but the voice is what matters... if you wanna compare voices go ahead, here’s a video that can help (it helped me even though the background singers kinda took over, but you get the point, it was live)
youtube
3. Russian Dolls 🪆
Tumblr media
Commentary: THEY DIVIDEDDDDD... omg there’s 3 now! I FREAKING CALLED IT!! Anyways, they sang Wonder by Shawn Mendes and again I say their harmonies are so on point, it’s fantastic! I throughly enjoyed this performance, it was great! Their voices work really great together (ofc duh because they are a band... they have to be) and it was a really great song choice as well.
Again, I am gonna double down here (and them being 3 makes it even more convincing for me):
Hanson (All 3 of them this time)
Tumblr media
Reasoning/Clues: ok, so now that there’s 3 of them, I don’t have to sound dumb and be like ummmmm it’s 2 of the Hanson brothers, which two I am not sure, but two of them. This time I can say it is all of Hanson, all 3 of them! WOOO! This performance really solidified it for me. Anyways, here are the logic bombs aka clues:
He was doing what he loved and rushed to the hospital = Zac, one of the brothers, was involved in a motorcycle accident in which he (get this, it’s really bad like reading it on Google made me go ouch that must have been a terrible accident) broke three ribs, his collarbone, and scapula.
The fire truck= the fire department was involved in the accident, which he spoke about in October 2019
4. Surprise! It’s Wildcard Time: Introducing the Orca (whale) 🐳
Tumblr media
Commentary: ok, so he performed We’re Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister, and it was meh, it was ok. He sounds like a comedian, and his voice is so familiar, it’s killing me. Anyways, he is talk singing the entire time and there are parts where he sounds out of breath, so I don’t think he is a professional singer. The costume though (since I couldn’t really review that beforehand) looks like a pool floatie on top and a blue version of Banana from season 3 from the chest down, which is kind of cool (I would give it a 8/10 if I were to rate it). I really love that top head part, it looks super great, the costume designers killed it.
Ok, this one I am more unsure about but I am gonna say that I am between these 2:
Bill Burr or Adam Sandler
(Burr is the one pictured below, couldn’t put both images because Tumblr doesn’t let me do more than 10 pictures so just pretend you can also see Adam Sandler’s photo)
Tumblr media
Reasoning/Clues: I am gonna have to skip this one... because I am not sure about this one, I am just going off of voice, the clues confuse me, but you have any ideas, feel free to comment them please, I need all the help I can get.
So that’s it, wildcard and all. I hope you guys enjoyed this, I am so sorry for the picture issue, it’s something that bugs me about Tumblr but whatever. I will see you guys in the next one, where we will see Group B sans Phoenix perform and add in a new wildcard, which omg I know who it is I just don’t know what it looks like, but it is the CRAB 🦀! Anyways, I will see you all next weekend, please like, comment, do all the social media things! Bye everyone! 👋🏼

So well this is part 8 of my Edgejeanist angst. If you don't remember the last part, you can read it here.
-several days passed and Shinya was still unconscious
-Tsunagu didn't dare to leave his side, this was all his fault so he wasn't going to leave Shinya's side until he knew for sure, that his Ninja would be okay
-while sitting there starring at that unconscious body, he was constantly rambling apologies to him and telling him how much he loves him
-Tsunagu couldn't imagine what would have happened if they would've been to late
-breath Shinya was right next to him in a hospital and he was alive
-but he wasn't waking up
-breath again, he had pretty bad injuries, it's normal to be unconscious for a bit
-the only issue with Tsunagu staying at Shinya's bed was, that he was getting unhealthy
-he didn't eat and he drunk incredibly less, nor did he sleep well, if he even slept
-at some point Kugo couldn't see it anymore: Yes his best friend was worried about his husband, yes his best friend had made a bad mistake and yes that wasn't going to fix itself, but hell that was no reason to destroy your own health!!
-in other words at some point Gang Orca dragged Jeanist (under loud protests) out of the hospital to eat, drink and sleep
-and also maybe to convince him to sleep at home and not in the hospital
-the other heroes paid visits to the ninja aswell, but every time they came he was still unconscious
-until one night, Miruko knew she shouldn't go to the hospital in the middle of the night, but she had promised herself to visit Edgeshot today, but than the day was super busy, so she had to go know
-She entered the room to find Edgeshot unconscious, as expected
-"Miruko? Is that you?" Miruko couldn't trust her own ears
-He was awake?!?!!
-She went to his bed and sat onto the chair next to him
-"Yes it's me. It's good to see you're awake. You gave us quite a scare man. Please don't do that again yeah?"
-"I'll try I guess" his voice was small and still sad in some way
-propably because of Tsunagu, the two of them should really solve that
-"I'm going to phone Tsunagu, he will be so relieved to hear that you woke up!"
-"Miruko. Please don't."
-okay now she didn't understand anything "Why not? I thought you want to talk to him about what happened idiot."
-"because I have actually been awake for some time now. I listened to what he said and I want to believe him, I really do, but...do you think he really means it?"

The Twilight Baby
The sun shone brightly down on the magnificent castle of Hyrule. Just as the day was starting, the calm winds changed as portal opened up in one of the hall ways. From there, a small child plopped out. The little boy’s eyes blinked, and he closed his eyes from the light of this world. Finally, it hurt so much that he let out a wail for help.
~
“Deer. I-I really must be going to work.” Ocax panted as his lover had him pinned, breath heavy.
"No, you're going to stay with me." Seer had gotten frisky during breakfast. There was something sexy about the way Ocax smelled right after a shower. He was clean, his scent was more potent and... dreadfully lacking of any of Seer's personal scent. Someone might get the wrong idea during mating season and attempt a move on his lover. That was unacceptable. The orca Direnor had started with little kisses down Ocax's throat before turning into nibbles. The dining room table was left unattended with breakfast getting cold, as Seer had promptly picked up the Twili, threw him on the bed, and started to make love to him... albeit, a touch rough since his instincts were getting the best of him. "Kanisa doesn't need you right now, you can wait until after lunch. Or after dinner. Maybe tomorrow morning."
“I-I must protest. I can’t lose another weekend of work. What would she think?” Ocax blushed blue as he felt his lovers shaft push tightly in him.
"That you are rather preoccupied..." Seer purred into Ocax's ear as he held tightly to his lover's hips, giving a teasing, harsh, thrust. "With being filled by me."
Ocax screamed aloud with a shrill voice and cam. Afterwards, he mumbled with a pout. “I just had a shower too...”
"What if I want you to smell like me today?" Seer asked the Twili with a smug tone to his voice. "Leave my mark..." He was certain there were a few love bites on Ocax's throat. Not to mention, his scent was now mingled with his lover's, so there would be no mistaking. "You can always top me too, you know. I'm not stingy that way. Though, I do enjoy feeling you wriggle beneath me."
“You little brat.” Ocax did so, quickly pushing his lover over the bed.
~
Rinku, first princess of and hero of Hyrule, sometimes really hated the snow. Trekking up to Kanisa’s door, she glanced down at the bundle she was carrying once again before knocking.
Kanisa, too, was at the mercy of her husband's loving. However, Vidar was currently occupied with training some rookies, so she had a break for the time being. Her legs still felt like jelly. When she heard the knock on the door, the princess wobbly walked to answer it. Surprised to see her elder sister, the princess then had a look of panic across her face. "Rinku?! Oh gods, is it Mama?! Papa?!"
“What?” Rinku was shocked that was the first jump Kanisa went to. “Not at all. Didn’t realize I was the arbiter for doom and gloom. Give me a hug and let me in from the cold?”
"It's not like you to come without announcement so of course I assumed the worst! You scared me!" Kanisa ushered Rinku inside, out of the cold. "But I am glad that our parents are all right and you're okay. To what do I owe the visit?"
After a hug, Rinku pulled her winter coat off to reveal a nice green tunic. She didn’t like to wear the hat. Placing the cradle down, she opened it up to reveal a sleeping Twili toddler boy. “Well, I got a problem I’m hoping you can help solve.”
"...?!?!?!" Kanisa's eyes nearly bulged out of her skull. "You have a kid?!"
“It’s not my kid Kanisa. Look closely. This remind you of anyone?”
"I thought you adopted, but... this... wait." Kanisa gently moved the blanket out of the way a touch more. She sat down with a loud thud, shocked. "This is a Twili. How in the world did you get your hands on a Twili?"
“It suddenly appeared at the castle a week ago. After speculation on what to do, I looked into records of any Twili who might be present in our realm. Imagine my surprise when I found one working with you off all people. Made a quick visit to my baby little darling sister to find this Twili named Ocax. Maybe I can dig some answers from him.”
"Oh goodness..." Kanisa felt terribly sorry for the poor little thing. It was just a baby, how in the world could it survive in this world without care? Not to mention, she thought the parents had to be worried sick. "Ocax fell through a portal, so maybe this little one did too. He has not had any luck on finding a way back to the Twilight Realm as far as I know. Or if he has, he doesn't want to. You can ask him what you wish, but, I"m not sure if he'll have all the answers."
“Alright.” Rinku plopped her hand in her palm. “Where does he live? I’ll go see him.”
"On top of the hill, near the lake." Kanisa pointed out the window to the landmark. "It's the only house with a multiple stone pathways, and one even leading to the water. Seer is blind, so he uses that to help him find his way around."
“Great. Shouldn’t be a problem.” Rinku smiled at Kanisa, looking around. “Where’s Wolfe and the kids?”
"Vidar is training the rookies today and the kids are doing chores." Kanisa told Rinku, "And I'm here doing paperwork for the king and queen. You ought to return for dinner. I'm fixing roasted duck."
Rinku picked up the cradle and nodded. “Love to.” The blonde hero walked away, waving goodbye for the moment. “Let’s hope Wolfe can behave long enough to keep his hands off you.”
"Rinku, as much as I'd love to assure you that is a possible outcome, we both know it isn't." Kanisa laughed. "I'd have more kids if my pregnancy was not so rough with Audlin, but Vidar did not want to take the chance."
~
Ocax was deep into giving Seer head when a knock came at the door. “Hoosh izh ish?”
Seer was enjoying the oral administrations when a rude knock was heard. "Just ignore them and they'll go away." Seer said, irritated at the interruption.
“Open the damn door! Order from the top authority!” Ocax pulled out, panting loudly for a moment. “Who... company?”
"Damn it all to fucking hell." Seer growled under his breath, quickly feeling for his robe. "I'll handle this, love." The orca Direnor kissed Ocax's cheek. "Give me one moment and I'll be back." Tromping to the front door, Seer yanked the front door open with the nastiest glare he could muster. "Someone either be dead or dying, or you must be here to give me Adda's head on a plate, because you have interrupted a most critical mating season ritual and I. Am. Not. Happy."
“Hey blind man. Long time no see.” Rinku snickered. “You gonna pull up your pants?”
"...?" Seer sniffed the air a couple of times. Adjusting his robe, he had very little modesty during mating season, but did not want to continue to flash the poor woman. "... oh. What are you doing here, Rinku?"
“I have problem you and Ocax can solve for me.”
The Twili man ran forward, fixing his appearance. “I’m so, so, so sorry for his behaviour. What can we do for you?”
“I’m here to ask you a few questions about the Twili. And to deliver this child.”
"I'm not sorry." Seer huffed, still annoyed that his lovey time with Ocax was paused. "And if this is another one of Adda's brats, you're out of luck, I haven't seen her in years, therefore there is reasoning this kid can't be mine---ow!" Seer jolted when he felt Ocax's elbow hit his side, warning him to be nice.
Rinku revealed the kid, and Ocax gasped. “A Twili child?!”
"...?! A what?!" Seer's jaw almost dropped. "... I swear to Rotar and Handeh, if Towa is playing a prank on us, I will boot her ass into the lake."
Ocax was careful to examine the child. “It’s a boy. It’s a Twili boy.”
"Should I even ask where you found him?" Seer felt a confused, and most of all, slightly worried. Caring for two human girls was one thing, but another species might be out of his grasp. "And... who left him?"
“We don’t know who left him. But we just found him wandering around the castle.”
Ocax frowned, remembering his own detail. “It could have been either an accident or they could have been thrown away.”
"Is he healthy from what you can tell?" Seer carefully bent down on one knee, feeling of the baby carrier. Gently, he found the blanket and then the kid's cheek. He was sleeping, and had... the Direnor almost gushed. The kid had those adorable curved ears... just like his lover! "Is he hungry? Does he need changing?"
Rinku took a whiff and plugged her nose. “Yeah. You want me to clean him?”
Ocax was puzzled, trying to figure out this baby. “Perhaps we can send it down to the orphanage for now.”
"What? The orphanage? No, no, Seija already has too many kids there, she doesn't have time for this little guy." Seer simply picked up the carrier and took the kid inside of the house. Mating season also brought out the drive to protect and nurture the young. This little one was like his lover and would have proper care. "I'll change him. Ocax, please get Rinku a snack if she's hungry. There's some leftover cheese and grapes if she wants some."
“But Seer. Surely we need to think this over.”
"It's just until Rinku gets some answers, right?" Seer downplayed Ocax's worry. "I mean, surely his parents are looking for him. They're probably in Hyrule right now or maybe looking for him. If Twili are anything like Abyssians, they'll have that link to their offspring and be here soon, probably within a fortnight or so." He assured his lover. "Don't worry, it's just for a night. Rinku needs her questions answered and a place to stay, and the little one needs a bit of care. Nothing much."
“Well, can I stay anywhere where Direnor’s aren’t in heat?”
“I know this will have my attention for a while.”
"Considering that Direnors are in mating season right now, your best bet would be to stay at the local inn if you don't want to interrupt anymore sex." Seer then suggested. "Besides, this is just for a night until we reach a conclusion on what to do."
“Hmmm. You know, I always wanted to take a deeper look into the old abandoned castle now that it’s king is gone.” Rinku smiled, petting Seer’s head. “Good luck with the baby.”
Seer took the little one into Liz's and Lex's old room to change his diaper. The tiny boy was fussing something fierce, but Seer shushed him. He seemed healthy, had a head full of hair, and a set of lungs to rival a shrieking lady. After swaddling him, Seer simply placed the boy into a sling he made. Then, he returned to the living area where Ocax was waiting.
"It's just for a night. He'd probably feel better around someone like him." Seer then asked once more, "Didn't you tell me that Twili are more at ease around their own species?"
“Anyone is more at ease with their own species. But I don’t like babies. They poo, they crawl over the place and-“ Right on the dot, the little toddler started to cry some more. “And they do that.”
"Heh, if you don't like kids, then you would have had a time with Liz and Lex when they were small. They cried a lot." Seer bounced the little one to try to soothe him. "It was worth it though. I've missed having a little one in the house, but it will be good for Rinku to have a break before she comes back to get him. I'm sure his parents have to be looking for him. If my Liz and Lex suddenly disappeared, I'd search for them."
“Well, it’s a possibility they could have thrown the baby away.”
"...?! They would... do that?" Seer looked disturbed. "Why? From what I can tell, the kid is healthy."
“Because it can be a form of execution.” Ocax sat down, fiddling with a pin on his shirt collar. “If Twili don’t have gateway stones, they can never return to the twilight realm. So with that in mind, we have ripples our people can open up to fling undesirables through your come here in the world of light. We can also adjust where we throw a Twili to, be that an ocean to drown or a burning desert. Sometimes though accidents happen near these ripples and one can accidentally be sent through. I’m imaging someone didn’t want to be a parent and just sent their baby to a nice castle.”
"Poor thing." Seer frowned when Ocax explained how easily a baby could be tossed away like trash. It made him think of how slaves were treated, how he was treated in the brothel all those years ago. The thought made him shiver slightly. "Do you really think we should take him to Seija? Or should we try to find Towa?"
The mention of Towa made Ocax visibly sad. “No. Towa can’t help us.” Sighing, he grabbed his glasses and cleaned them with a soft rubbing cloth. “I don’t know how to take care of a baby, I’ll be honest Seer. I’m going to go to work, so we can figure out what to do. Tomorrow, we can head to Seija’s.”
"All right." Seer stood, carefully putting the baby back into the small carrier. "I'll make it up to you tonight." He nuzzled Ocax, sliding his hands down his lover's sides. "I'll do that thing you like with my tongue..."
The boy cried again, and Ocax used that as an excuse to leave. “I’m running behind on work anyways. Have fun Seer.” Walking about, the little Twili made his way to the kitchen, reaching for some pans.
Seer heard the tiny kid moving around and gently scooped him up from the floor. The Direnor had this pet peeve about others messing around in his kitchen. It was not safe for a little one to be near all of his utensils anyhow. "I can't just keep calling you kid..." Seer mused as the baby fussed, still wanting the pans. Seer decided to occupy him with a snack. Luckily, he always kept fresh fruit peeled and ready thanks to Ocax. He heard the child munching on the apple and then suggested, "You need a name. How about... Echo?"
The little toddler threw the apple to the floor, the bouncing echoing on the wooden planks.
"I guess not. I could call you grumpy if you tempt me enough." Seer wondered if the child still needed a bottle.
The toddler babbled as it looked around for something important to it.
"If you're looking for your parents, I'm afraid they're not here, little one." Seer had a habit of talking to kids normally, just as he did when Liz and Lex were little. "Evidently, you either fell through a portal or they didn't..." He paused not finishing that thought. "So, you're going to stay with me for tonight until we find a better candidate to take care of you."
Falling back, the baby caught itself, wanting to crawl away again.
"I suppose you need a bit of a distraction, don't you?" Seer considered it was pure luck that he still had a few of his daughters' old baby toys. Little Val still played with them from time to time, but she preferred to be outside. He fetched a few of the toys from the closet and set them out in front of the child to entertain him. Blocks were always a good choice, there were some stuffed animals, and even a few carved wooden figures.
The toddler grabbed the stuffed wolf closely, babbling something once more. It sounded worried, yet comforted by the wolf.
"I'm sorry that you're sad, little one. I promise I'll take care of you while you're here with me though." Seer assured the little kid the best he could. He tried to entertain the child by moving around another stuffed animal, imitating a form of play. "You're safe. I just wish I knew your name."
“Papa.” The little Twili looked at Seer in the eyes and said the same thing again. “Pa-pa.”
Seer just wanted to melt when he heard the adorable voice. It was not right to encourage the name. He was not the boy's father. Yet, Ocax did not like children but... Seer absolutely loved little ones. "Oh... you're such a cutie pie." Seer tickled the kid's belly. "Yes, you can call me Papa."
“Papa!” The little Twili said it more enthusiastically and laughed as Seer tickled him.
"I... got you!" Seer scooped up the little boy and blew raspberries on his tummy. He loved to play with little ones. It reminded him of how he used to play hide and seek with Liz and Lex around the house, pretending he could not hear them from the other room. "On nom nom."
~
Ocax returned from a long day of work. It was harder with Kanisa more or less held captive by her husbands love making, but he was able to meet all the requirements for the day. Finished, he was about to open the door when he heard laughter coming from inside. Was that Lex?
“Aren’t you adorable? I’m Lex. Alexandria the great! You’re a beautiful little guy aren’t you?”
"And watch this, Lex, watch this, he's so smart!" Seer tapped his shadow. The little one had nearly made him shit a brick when he disappeared for five minutes. He then realized the child was hiding in his shadow and drew the curtains. "Come on. You can do it."
Ocax walked in without the adults noticing. He was astonished when he saw the toddler hide into Seer’s shadow.
"Give him a minute... and now..." Seer gently tapped the floor in front of him, signaling for the child to come back.
The baby popped out and Lex screeched with joy. “Oooooooo that’s so neat! When did Ocax pop out the little guy?”
“I did no such thing.” Ocax announced his presence.
"Lex, you know Ocax is male, and as far as I know, male Twilis cannot give birth." Seer praised the little boy, offering a sweet strawberry for a reward. "Who's so smart? You are, yes, you are!"
“I’m thinking of delivering the kid to Seija tomorrow. Should be a good day for her.”
"I... yes, I guess it will be a good day." Seer halfheartedly agreed as he set the kid in his lap, giving him the tiny stuff wolf.
“Oh no. You bonded with him, didn’t you?”
“How could he not?” Lex went to grab a bottle of breast milk from the fridge. “He’s a little mini you!”
"And those... ears..." Seer was gushing. "Look at how cute! Reminds me of how Ocax's ears twitch when I kiss him." He then took the bottle from Lex. "Thank you for bringing this over. He seems to be very picky about some solid foods."
“I’m here to please.”
Ocax took a seat, rubbing his temple. “Seer. A baby is a lot of work. And you’re not as young as you used to be.”
"I'm wounded, Ocax, you think I'm old?" Seer had a cheeky grin on his face. "Says the man who has trouble keeping up with me?"
“Can you even look after this child’s needs? It seems you like to act like one yourself from time to time.”
Now that hurt and it was uncalled for. The blind man had raised two lovely daughters and was always helping out from time to time with his grandchildren. Seer had a look of annoyance on his face. Even if Ocax did not want the child around, there was no need to insult him.
"Lex, would you mind helping me prep the carrier tonight?" He decided to ignore his lover's foul mood for the moment and focus on the little one. "I don't have a crib and he'll need somewhere to sleep until tomorrow."
“Course dad.”
Ocax saw the baby crawl towards him. Raising an eyebrow, he picked the toddler up to have an eye staring contest with the boy. It babbled a bit before burping. “You have thick blankets for him? I don’t think he’ll like the cold of Uskar.”
"I have Liz's and Lex's old baby blankets that are made of wool. They should serve perfectly." Seer stated as Ocax picked up the child. He was not sure what was going through his lover's mind, but there was no reason to be discourteous. As Lex helped him make up the carrier, Seer was sure to place the little wolf with the child.
Ocax brushed his hair back, opening the current up so the moonlight shone on the toddler. It seemed to sooth him enough to calm down and sleep. “Perfect amount of shadow and light. We’ll have to wake up early to close the blinds before the sun hits him.”
"I'll be up anyhow to fix breakfast." Seer heard the little one yawn. "What do you think we should call him? We can't keep calling him kid."
“Fyrir the unknown. How about that?”
"What do you think?" Seer asked the wee one who was dozing off. "You like it, Fyrir?"
Little Fyrir said nothing as he dozed off.
“That’s what I’m calling him.”
"I think Lex and I do agree on one thing," Seer stated. "If he was tossed out, then whoever it was made a grave mistake."
“Just tell me straight if you want to keep him.”
"... you don't like kids." Seer stated, letting the insinuation hang in the air.
“But I love you. And I want to see you happy. I work hard to see you happy... would having the kid around make you happy?” The little charm in his voice, Ocax let his own insinuation counter Seer’s.
"I love you as well, and I am happy. I just..." Seer sighed, bending down as stroking the little Twili's hair. "I feel so sorry for him. You and Towa were cut off from your home. He was... either tossed aside or fell through a portal. I can only imagine how lonely he'd be without someone to care for him."
Ocax placed his hand on Seer’s back, pretending to be nonchalant. “We’ll, I suppose we have no choice but to look after him then and give him the care he needs right now.”
"... are you sure? I don't want you to be miserable. I love kids, and I wish I had more, but... you are my lover. My husband." Seer kissed Ocax's forehead. "Are you happy too?"
“You want me to change my mind? Could always throw the brat out in the cold.”
"No!" Seer huffed at his lover's teasing. "He's staying."
Ocax folded his arms. “Then good. That’s that.”
~
"Come on, little one, that's it! You're doing so good!" Seer praised Fyrir as he heard the tiny footsteps stumble in his direction. He was down on his knees, coaxing the boy to come to him. "You're walking so well now! Soon, I'll teach you how to swim."
“Swim. Swim.”
Ocax shook his head, looking outside at the snow fall. Had it really been a month since they adopted Fyrir? “Seer. The waters will be freezing cold. He’s only just starting to get adjusted to direct sunlight.”
"Well... maybe a little later for the lake, but for now, you can practice in the tub." Seer picked up Fyrir and held him above his head, earning giggles from the boy. "He's a smart one like you, love. Imagine, he might be helping you with your work one day. What do you say, Fyrir? You want to help Daddy with papers?"
“Pa-“ the little Twili paused for ten seconds, then. “-per!”
Ocax’s heart melted at the enthusiasm.
"Yes! Yes, that's right! Paper! Pa-per." Seer repeated for the boy, kissing his cheek. "So smart! You're learning so fast. What is Papa going to do when he can't keep up with you anymore? I suppose you'll have to wait on him, right?" He then set the Twili back down on his feet, turning him in Ocax's direction. "Walk to Daddy. Come on, you can do it."
“Seer. I don’t think-“
Ocax stopped as he looked down to see Fyrir pull on his leg. “Da. Da.”
"See? He knows who you are already." Seer chuckled as Fyrir insisted on Ocax picking him up, hearing his little arms wave. "Are you hungry? I could fix you something to eat while I heat up Fyrir's milk."
“Feel bad taking from Alexandria so much. We really should start moving him to store bought.”
"I do too, but when we tried that last mixture, he barfed for a whole hour straight." Seer made a small crinkle of disgust with his nose. "Maybe I should try some pureed foods..."
“Or water perhaps.” Ocax patted Fyrir on the head as he finished off some documents for a Kanisa. “That should do it.”
"Do you think it's too early to teach him how to read?" Seer asked as he started taking some plates from the cabinets to prepare lunch for his lover and child. Fyrir had learned fairly quickly that the kitchen was a no-no. After dropping a pan on his own foot, the little one was more cautious. "He seems to like looking at picture books."
“I think we’ll have to wait for a while on words Seer. But picture books are fine.”
Ocax got up, picking up his son with him. “I have to go to work now, but daddy is here to look after you.”
"We'll have fun, won't we, Fyrir?" Seer took the boy from his husband. "And we will have fun later tonight." The Direnor purred at Ocax. "The silk ties I ordered came in from Hyrule and we should put them to good use."
Ocax lightly smiled. “You just can’t help yourself, can you?”
"You're irresistible, if anything, it's your own fault." Seer gave Ocax a kiss. "Take a jacket. It's supposed to snow later today. I can feel it."
“I’ll dress appropriately for any coming storm.”
~
Hyrule castle was preparing for another beautiful morning when a storm rang in. In the armoury it was quiet as a mouse. Suddenly, breaking that silence came a ripple in space. With a screech, two shadowy figures dropped down.
Unfortunately, the rookie was completing his rounds when the two monsters suddenly appeared. Startled, he started shouting, "INTRUDERS! INTRUDERS!"
The Twili mother whirled her hair. Her dreadlocks flung out, grabbing the soldier by the hands and throat.
The guard struggled wildly, trying to cut at her hair with his dagger, but she had his hands tied.
“Rwak Trei Kal Wry?!!”
"I..." The guard coughed, hardly able to speak. "Don't... understand!"
The Twili’s cold mask didn’t give away a change of pace. “Where is my child?!!”
"... child?!" The guard was beginning to see spots. "It... Uskar!!!" He was starting to panic. "It's in... Uskar!!!"
The Twili turned to her companion. “Uskar?”
The Abyssian was blending in with the shadows. The minimal sunlight peeking through the windows would scorch him if he was not careful. "A country of shapeshifters... to the North."
The Twili frightening mask turned back to the soldier she held captive. “World map. Or I pop you.”
"In... library!" The guard managed to rasp, starting to lose consciousness.
"I can smell him here. The scent is faint." The husband murmured to his wife. "We must find the one who took him."
“Go to library. Say nothing.” The Twili forcibly hid in the guards shadow. “Unless you wish to die.”
"I will ensure he says nothing." The Abyssian father then slipped into the guard's body, entering his mind. "I can see the world map from in here, my mate. It seems to get to Uskar, we will have to board a ship. It is sea locked."
“Too long. Too LONG!” This mother felt that even a day was too long in catching up to her son. “Give me coordinates.”
"There are three different ports. Our best guess for answers would be in the largest." The Abyssian started reading off the coordinates to his mate. "I do not know of these 'Direnors' that live there. They could be hostile."
“We are hostile. We are enough.” The Twili took the guard to an open tower area. Leaving him, she raised a sphere to the sky and started an enchantment.
Down below, Rinku happened to be wondering by, when her eyes caught the shadowy figures. “By Nayru.”
Before she could reach them, the Twili opened a portal in the sky. With that, herself and her husband broke apart into shadow particles and flew high into the portal above.
Reaching the guard, Link shook him awake. “Young man. Status report!”
"Urgh..." The guard held his throbbing head, feeling like he had drank one too many beers. "Princess Rinku?" He blinked a few times before stammering. "They... I swear, it was Midna here! I swear it! I'm not drunk, my head is just killing me! I must have been hallucinating!"
“More like Shadow Beast. I felt an Abyssian was here too. Do you know where they are going?”
"They said something about that strange kid you found a while back." The guard stood on his feet. "Wanting to find it."
Rinku’s adrenaline kicked in more than it already did. Kanisa. “Get up. Go tell Zarazu an Abyssian and Twili have broken through into Hyrule. I’m heading to Uskar immediately.”
"Y-Yes, m'am!" The guard hurried to find the reagent queen and hoped to the goddesses above another war was not coming.
~
“Kanisa. Do you have any idea how nice it is to not have your husband ravage you when he has a baby to look after?” Ocax was in an odd mode, actually enjoying the cold winter air for once.
Kanisa blushed slightly, trying to keep a composed face. The topic of intercourse still made her feel embarrassed, even after all these years. At least here in Uskar, it was normal to talk about sex like any other topic. "Well, I don't mind Vidar's... affections." She cleared her throat. "Why? Seer draining you of energy? All you have to do is just say no, you know."
“He has. But having a baby keeps him focused. Which lets me be focused on my work.”
"Ah, so you're saying that he needed a distraction. From you." Kanisa actually giggled. "Dare I say that you are finding it hard to concentrate?"
“You don’t? We have our duties you know. Our husbands can’t just use us and steal us away whenever they get a rut.”
"Oh, I think King Torbjorn would beg to differ whenever Queen Brigritta is in a rut." Kanisa sipped her tea. "Last time it was three days behind on paperwork I think."
“It’s insane how we have to try and keep up with their freakish nature at times.” From behind them, twelve feet to their left, a group of deer scampered away. “Huh. Wonder who lost their catch.”
"From the way I see it, the desire can be flattering, but also... occupying." Kanisa had to agree with Ocax. "It is hard to get a few things done when Vidar is demanding my attention. Yet, at least Seer seems very happy with you and little one. He always wanted more kids." As the deer ran away, Kanisa shrugged. "I suppose someone was being too loud."
“I feel like being a father is something Seer is simply naturally good at.” Ocax smiled, giving a sigh. “I wonder if he ever had any help in raising Lex and Liz. I’m glad I can give him help now.”
Above them, the clouds started to shift around, expanding to blot out the suns light.
"Seer had his family and friends helping from time to time, but mainly, it was just him." Kanisa told Ocax. "He was crushed when he found out that Lex and Liz were not biologically his. Yet, he still loved them the same. There was a lot of strife for a long while between them, I think, because of that reason. Seer hid it from them because he didn't want to hurt them, and it just blew up in his face. Though now, I think everything is good."
“How’d you feel finding two little Gerudo when you came here? Must have been nice, no?”
"Oh, I met them before they came here. Orana is my sister, and Corsaire's husband." Kanisa told Ocax with a smile. "They were adorable as babies. Lex refused to be put down and Liz wanted to explore everything. Seer had his hands full, that's for sure."
“Not to mention that Revy girl. Has she always been rambunctious?” Ocax laughed at the thought.
"I have no clue where she gets that energy from." Kanisa shook her head. "It was nearly impossible for Rat to keep her in one spot for long. She cannot sit still."
“Well, she is an electric-“ Ocax stopped, the colour in his face draining away. His feet felt cemented into the ground as he saw the war mask of a Twili. Behind that Twili was a massive shadow.
“Found you.”
“Oh. Oh no.”
As soon as the mask appeared, Kanisa released a shrill scream, stomping on it. She then yanked Ocax to his feet, and started to run.
Bursting from the snow, the Twili made her physical form known. With a spear in hand she stabbed at Ocax’s leg, catching him through the thigh. With a grunt he fell to the ground. “Kanisa! Run!”
As soon as Ocax fell, the male Abyssian pinned him and roared, "Where is he?!" "Ocax!!!" Kanisa skidded in the snow, nearly losing her balance when the Twili was suddenly pierced. She was in disbelief. It was... a Twili! And an Abyssian to boot! How in the seven hells did they get here?! There was nothing she could do right now. The princess had a dagger, but she doubted it would be useful against a creature of shadow. There was no textbook on how to fight a Twili... except for sunlight. Any kind of light. With gritted teeth, she shot a burst of concentrated lightning at the Twili... only to have it blocked by the Abyssian with a blast of darkness.
“Who?!” Ocax was terrified. He’d never met an Abyssian before, and being pinned and injured he was as helpless as a child.
The Twili presented her spear at Ocax’s throat. “MY SON!!!”
Seer has sensed the commotion before any of the others. His lack of sight aided him in perceiving what was happening, even if he was not close to the event. Ocax was in trouble. Releasing a series of whistles and clicks, Seer allowed his family to know there were intruders before handing Fyrir to Bjarke. He was visiting his friend so Naira could give Fyrir a checkup when he heard his lover's distress.
"...?! You're looking for Fyrir?!" Kanisa held her dagger tightly, trying to think of what to do. Abyssians, she could not let him get near her shadow. He'd possess her. For now, she had to buy time. "How did you get through the portal?!"
“Gate stone.” Ocax muttered out.
The Twili mother looked to Kanisa, pressing a hand on the ground. Lifting her hand up she drew a spear of darkness. With it, she chucked it towards the Princess. “Give us our son!!!”
Kanisa managed to avoid the spear, thanking the goddesses that she kept up with her exercises. "I don't have your son!"
"Lies!" The Abyssian snarled. "We can smell him on this filth," He shoved Ocax's face into the snow. "And you."
"He's not here!"
"Where is he?!"
She had to think. Seer would come. He would know. He had that creepy sense of knowing when something was wrong. Yet, he could not fight them well on land. The lake... it was still covered with snow. If she led them in that direction... "Please, don't hurt Ocax further." Kanisa assured the Twili and Abyssian. "I'll take you there if you follow me."
The Twili screamed in agony as a light arrow struck her directly in the back. Another was fired at the Abyssian within a second so that Ocax could have chance to crawl away. Their attacker was Rinku, who was wearing her green garb and drawing a Hylian shield and the Master Sword. The Blade hummed lightly in the presence of the Abyssian. “Get away from them you monsters.”
Kanisa quickly yanked Ocax away from the intruders as the Abyssian snatched his lover and descended into the shadows of the ground. "Rinku!" Kanisa exclaimed. "They're here for the kid!"
Rinku saw a shadow creep towards her, and stabbed the Master Sword into it. Never again would she be possessed. As the Twili and Abyssian fled from the ground, the mother snarled. “She’s mine. Go after the man before he can flee with our son!” Ocax was already hopping along with Kanisa to the lake.
"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were heavier than my brother." Kanisa struggled to help Ocax along the lake. She had to be careful with her footsteps. The ice could give at anytime. "How does Seer lift you?" Suddenly, the male Abyssian appeared in front of them with a growl. "I'll give you one last chance before I rip you to shreds." He warned the pair, tentacles of darkness appearing at his sides. "Where is my son?!"
Seer, however, was already in the water, swimming in the direction of the princess and his lover. He could feel their footsteps on the ice above him. Then... there was the intruder. His scent was faint, but it was there. It was as if he could move through air. That wouldn't save him. With a mighty swing of his tail, Seer busted through the air, jaws wide. He managed to take the Abyssian by surprise and dragged him under by his leg.
Ocax fell back, shock on multiple levels taking him.
Rinku and the Twili hunter danced in combat for a moment, with hair tendrils and spear lunges trying to take the hero down. Wise beyond her years, and not wanting to prolong this conflict when she could go assist her sister, Rinku ended the conflict. With a shield bash to the Twili’s face to stun her, Rinku leapt into the air with spin of her body, lashing in a saw motion at the Twili’s head. Her blade cut the helmet clean in half, and the Twili fell to the ground with a light gash in her face. Spinning around, Rinku pointed her sword at the woman’s throat. This wasn’t Midna. This was a threat to her family. “Who are you? No lies.”
Rinku saw panic and fear that was hard to fake. “I’m here for my son. Nothing more. He became lost to this world. We’re here to take him back. I just want my Seikro back.”
The Abyssian male struggled under the water within Seer's grasp. His leg was crushed by the whale's jaws. Finally, he managed to get free when he whacked Seer across the face with one of his tentacles, the spikes digging into the orca's flesh. Seer shook his head to be rid of the pain and the Abyssian hurriedly swam to the surface, crawling through the hole in the ice. Kanisa had managed to drag Ocax to land, away from the breakage.
Rinku’s eyes gleamed at the Twili, her fingers tapping the hilt of the Master Sword. Reading the woman’s face and recalling features of the child she delivered she called out for her sister to come to her. “Kanisa!”
"...?!" Kanisa's attention jerked to Rinku. "What?! I'm kind of occupied here!" She gestured to the wounded Ocax, trying to bind his leg with her scarf, and tied it tight. Just as she finished, the Abyssian male caught her eye. Yelping, the princess held out her dagger. "Go away!" Seer, however, was not far behind. The ice was thicker near the land. With a loud squeal, he surfaced, trying to wiggle his way to the Abyssian to end him. "By Mracni, call your whale off! We're here for our son! You kidnapped him! We want him back!"
“Where’s the toddler Kanisa?” Rinku kept her blade at the Twili’s neck. Her mind was on the Abyssisn not to far away though.
"I... I think Seer took him to Bjarke's house to see Naira." Kanisa gulped, watching the Abyssian closely. "For a checkup. He wanted to make sure he was adjusting okay to the cold weather here."
Seer, however, had shifted back on the ice. "What's going on?" He demanded. "Why are you attacking my husband?!" He sniffed, smelling Ocax's blood. "I'll have both of your heads for this!"
"Seer, please! Calm down!" Kanisa implored the Direnor. "They're here for Fyrir!"
"...?!?! What?!"
“Give us back our son!” The Twili mother said once more, however, this time with fear in her voice. Rinku shook her head in disappointment. She should have known this was a possibility. For Ocax, he had his own feelings. None too happy.
"What do you mean 'your son'?!" Seer snapped angrily. "You threw him away! He's ours now, we're taking care of him!"
"Seer, I have a feeling that Fyrir might have accidently found a portal... either that, or someone tossed him to get back at the parents." Kanisa was trying to remain level-headed throughout this incident. "Otherwise, why would they risk being stranded here to find him?"
"We've been searching for him for nearly a whole day!" The Abyssian exclaimed. "And we found his scent through the portal!"
"A whole day? He's been with us for over a month!"
“You lie!” The mother shouted furiously at Seer. Ocax, wincing the stand up, walked over to the Twili mother. It saddened him, but he spoke to her in his native tongue. “Hunter. Do you know of the Zalant clan?”
She was surprised for a moment, but nodded. “I do.”
“Do you remember Ocax and Towa?”
“... Yes. I-“ the moment she realized who she was talking to, she gasped. “You’ve almost been gone for over two years!”
“Lady. It’s been over 30 years.” Ocax sighed, his scientific discovery disturbing him. “Time must be different for our realms.”
Ocax had taught Seer a little of his native tongue. He was able to understand a few pieces here and there, mainly the mention of Towa and his lover. And something about time. "I'm not lying!" Seer growled, "We've been taking care of him ever since Rinku brought him here! He's safe, happy, and talking non-stop!"
The Abyssian felt a bit nauseated by the fact of how time flowed differently. Any longer, anymore struggles to find a rip to get here, and their son would have been grown.
“Where he is? Where is my son?” Ocax watched the desperation leave the Twili mom, being replaced by a tired tone. Maybe it was hopelessness. Maybe it was the blood loss. Either way, he sighed. “Kanisa, can you go find Fyrir?”
"I can---"
"No!" Seer interrupted Kanisa almost immediately. "Ocax, they want to take him away! What are you saying?!"
"Seer, it's their kid."
"I know that!"
"You can't keep---"
"But he's ours now." Seer now looked desperate, almost panicked at the thought of having to give up the little one. "I don't want to lose him!"
"Seer, be rational!" Kanisa wanted to kick some sense into the Direnor. "These are Fyrir's parents who came looking for him. Don't be the bad guy. You even said yourself that they might come looking for him."
"I was hoping they wouldn't."
Ocax walked up to Seer, placing his hands to grip his shoulders. “Seer. Do you want to be like Adda?” A low blow, but the truth. “I won’t be complicit in kidnapping. Let’s... let’s just see Fyrir’s reaction.”
"... no." Seer finally spoke after taking a breath. He had grown attached to Fyrir. His fists clenched; he did not want to let him go. Once Fyrir was brought to group by Kanisa, the little one was fussing at being woken from his nap.
Fyrir was yawning, but the instant he saw his mother, a light filled his eyes. “Mama! Mama!” The Twili held her hands out for her son as he excitedly turned into shadows through Kanisa’s grip and into her mothers. “Oh Seikro! Oh my baby boy!” She squeezed and held him tightly, never wanting to let go again.
Seer felt so heavy. He heard the excitement in Fyrir's voice. So, it was time then. His parents came for him. It was if a wave of sadness had washed over the Direnor. "Seikro!" The Abyssian limped to his son with a relieved sigh. "Oh, thank goodness you're all right. We looked everywhere for you!"
“Papa!”
And that made him feel worse. He was Papa, not that... that... other one.
"We... apologize for any misunderstandings." Kanisa spoke to the Abyssian and Twili, still a little guarded. "Seer and Ocax were caring for Fyrir... I mean, Seikro, in your absence."
His name wasn't Seikro, it was Fyrir. Seer was angry, upset, and above all, just wondering why he was granted another little touch of love for it to be gone once more.
Ocax saw the Twili mother take out a gate stone. A small part of his core twinged in agony. Before meeting Seer, this was all he wanted. The mother was activated the stone with magic and it flew into the air, changing shape. They were going to leave so quickly. “Tell me. How is Towa? Is she happy?”
“Towa?”
“Yes. She left sometime ago to find a way home. I assume she made it.”
“Towa does not live among us.” The stone cracked open a portal directly to the Twilight Realm. “Thank you. For taking care of our son.”
"Please, wait!" Seer called out before the parents took off. "Please, just... let me say goodbye?"
Little ‘Fyrir’ looked towards Seer, giggling with a laugh and waving a tiny hand. Then just like that, particle after particle they disappeared into the portal.
Fyrir was gone. Seer would probably never hear him again. Direnors, Hylians, no one except kin of Interlopers were welcome in the Twilight Realm. The blind man just looked defeated.
Rinku finally put away her weapons, sighing as she walked towards the couple and her sister. “Look. Part of me feels responsible for this outcome. I probably could have let you avoid the hassle had I saw this as a possibility first hand.”
Seer said nothing, still reeling over the fact that Fyrir was taken away so easily. It brought back unpleasant memories of when Adda tried to kidnap the twins. That feeling of... of failure, of loss, of desperation to do anything to protect those little ones filled his being. Why did they have to come looking for him? Couldn't he had loved Fyrir just the same? Was he horrible for wanting to keep the little one?
"You could not have anticipated them attacking us, Rinku." Kanisa told her sister. "We all thought he was simply tossed aside."
“Well... none of you got killed. I’ll call that a better defeat then my last one at the interlopers.” Pulling out an Ocarina, she sighed. “Should be getting back home. Teleportation is not easy to do in a pinch. Think I might give myself a heart attack with all the adrenaline.”
Ocax looked to his husband, holding him close. “We can get through this.”
"I... want to go home." Seer stated quietly. "I need to rest after a sudden shift like that."
“Ok...”
~
The rest of the day and night Ocax stayed up in inner turmoil. To be honest, losing a son like that affected him too. He was just opening up to the idea of being a father. And Towa... was she dead? He never gave it much thought. Why had she never come back all these years to visit if she had failed in her quest? These depressing thoughts were too much. It was best he sorted them out. The next day, he forced Seer to go on a walk with him. “Quit your belly aching. You’ve brooded enough in the last 24 hours.”
"I have the right to brood, Fyrir was yanked from us without warning." Seer snapped at his lover, not in the mood for a lecture, still sour. "We did not get to say goodbye, that damn Twili woman attacked you, and the Abyssian tried to hurt Kanisa."
“I know. I know. But, if you trust me, I think we’ll have a situation.” Opening a door, Ocax lead Seer inside. “Seija! We’re here.”
"Oh! Good timing, Ocax! We're just about to---" Seija was interrupted by a loud noise upstairs.
CRASH!
She winced, groaning slightly. "... bake cookies... and we could use the help of an experienced cook."
“Yes. We’d like to help, but I brought Seer and myself to discuss the matter of adoption.”
"...?!" Seer was surprised by Ocax's statement. Adoption? He thought Ocax had no desire to raise any children. His lover did not seem too keen on Fyrir being with them at first. What changed his mind? "Oh, really?! That's wonderful!" Seija puffed up, her feathers standing highly on top of her head from happiness. "I'm sure you will love any of the kids. They're all wonderful really, just a little... rambunctious."
“I’m certain we can handle any challenge. May we meet the children?”
"Of course! Just... don't mention 'adoption' in front of them." Seija told the Twili and fellow Direnor. "I hate to put it this way, but I don't like them feeling like potential parents are 'window-shopping' if you know what I mean. If you find a child you just click with, great, but I hate getting the others' hopes up." "... are you sure?" Seer asked Ocax, now feeling slightly nervous.
“I am.” Ocax took his glasses to rub them clean. “I don’t like the idea of you being unhappy. I also don’t like having my work be taken away just as I was getting started. The idea of being a parent was exciting. I want to continue that. With you.”
"I wasn't that bad..." Seer was mildly flustered at Ocax's indication of the Direnor being rather demanding during mating season. "I do miss having little ones around the house. As much as I love our grandkids, it would be nice to have one that is... well... ours."
“I know.” Ocax nuzzled Seer close. “Will you be a father with me?”
"You know I will." Seer kissed the Twili affectionately, running his hands through the man's hair. "But that's not always going to save you from mating season."
“Well, you need to learn how to deal with blue balls in a while.” Ocax waved his horny mind away. “We have to be serious. For the children.”
"Serious as balls?" Seer teased with a grin, knowing just how to vex his lover. "Very well. Though, when the kid is asleep, all bets are off."
“Very well. Let’s get to be good parents.”

Chapter 23
“Ishiro, do you know where-” Vivienne entered the head scientist’s office, frowning when she saw him hunched over his notes. “Ishiro?”
He raised his head. “Oh, Vivienne. Can I help you with something?” When it was just the two of them, using each other’s first name was acceptable.
“Do you have the files on the ‘Adam’ specimen? They’re not in my office, and I’m pretty sure you’re the last one I showed them to. Chen thinks he might be related to Godzilla in some form, and we want to check if their bone structures are similar.”
Ishiro nodded, getting up from his desk and opening a drawer, the one where he kept miscellaneous files. He picked one up, opening it to make sure before nodding and handing it to his friend. “There you go. What does Chen mean by ‘related in some form’?”
“If they have the same attributes, if not outright related by blood.” She answered, looking through the file herself. She then raised her head. “And you’ve been ruminating in your notes again, haven’t you?”
“Ever so perceptive...” He sighed wearily. “I know you don’t think the same, but... I can’t help but feel I should’ve never started those researches in the first place.
Vivienne immediately shook her head, grabbing Ishiro by the shoulders and turning him toward her. “No, no- you started those researches in hopes of finding a way to get rid of radioactive waste and harmful radiations- do not blame yourself for discovering something else entirely!”
“It’s my fault if Godzilla is dead. I should’ve never brought it with us to Isla de Mara-”
“You brought it in hope that it would kill Ghidorah. It’s not your fault that soldier disobeyed you and launched the bomb.”
“But I’m the one who created it.” Ishiro answered. “They would’ve never been able to kill Godzilla if it hadn’t been for me. Let’s face the facts, Vivienne: I tried to create a way to get rid of radioactive waste, and I ended up creating... this.” He despaired, turning to his notes. “An oxygen destroyer.”
Vivienne was about to say something, trying to reassure him, when the door suddenly slammed opened. The two turned toward a panting, frazzled Coleman. He looked like he had ran there. She frowned. “What is it?”
He raised his eyes toward them, still breathing frantically. “You two need to come down to the control room now.”
“Okay, so.” Emma started, turned toward her husband. “Monarch is willing to provide me a lawyer for the upcoming trial, Florès is willing to act as a witness, and Madison is probably going to be called as one too. Now, I just need to find a reason that the judge would be willing to listen to...”
“You could plead for guilty under momentary insanity.” Mark proposed. “Your daughter was in active danger, you’re stuck in the middle of nowhere, you stole something from a colleague who would’ve given the thing to you if you had asked, and you knocked out a helicopter pilot. All of this could be used to show you weren’t in your right state of mind.”
“Yes, that could work...” Emma took a deep breath. “You’re sure you’re going to be able to handle everything with my sentence?”
“Please stop being so pessimistic, we’ll figure it out-”
“Mark,” Emma cut him off. “I actively helped in freeing a potential world-ending threat, and the American government is in a hurry to find a scapegoat for the T.L.F. disaster. Even if I get a not guilty verdict, I’m not getting out of this without at least being neck deep in debt, and I might not be able to help with Madison for a while.”
“Yeah, it’s not like you were helping much to begin with.” Mark muttered under his breath, catching his wife off-guard.
“What’s that supposed to mean!?”
“That you’ve let this job consume your entire life!” Mark snapped back. “Ever since you started working for Monarch five years ago, I’ve practically had to raise Madison by myself-”
“I’m not working at Castle Bravo every single hour of my life!”
“You work in the middle of the Bermuda, and we live in San Francisco! The closest we get to enjoying your company on your off-days is you giving us a video-call-”
ALL MONARCH PERSONNEL IS ASKED TO THE CONTROL ROOM: WE HAVE A CODE TITANOMACHY. I REPEAT, WE HAVE A CODE TITANOMACHY.
Emma and Mark paused, the intercom’s interruption killing the momentum of their argument, Emma in horror, Mark in cautious confusion. She sighed, heading out of the room. “We’ll talk about this later.”
-
Madison turned away from her sketch, raising an eyebrow at the creepy chuckle that left Florès. “What are you doing?”
“Serizawa told me to make the T.L.F.’s life a living hell if I want to keep my paycheck, so I’m hard at work cooking up a lovely virus for them.” He answered with a smile. “I’m also trying to turn my ‘esteemed’ rival to our side over emails, and she’s reacting by calling me a hack.”
“Aren’t you?”
“There’s a difference between being a hack and being a hacker, Russellita.” There was a pause as he momentarily turned away from his computer. “And what’re you doing?”
She smiled, turning her sketchbook toward Florès. A drawing of Godzilla resting on Mothra’s lap faced him “Sketching some Titans.”
He aww-ed. “Are they a couple? I didn’t know they were a couple.”
“Yeah, I think they might be.” Madison answered, putting her sketchbook down. “I’m trying to use my dreams to find them, but all I can get is that they’re in some kind of underground temple...”
“I have to go tell Coleman latter today that I’m pretty much finished with the current ORCA model.” Florès informed her, jerking his thumb toward the small, laptop-like device. “I could relay the info, if you want. That and that Godzilla is still alive.” Madison nodded, the two returning to their respective activities.
He quickly checked his emails to check if Kane had answered his latest taunt, only to narrow his eyes as he saw that a certain very dangerous person had answered something he had sent last night. He opened the email, sighing in relief when he saw his proposal had been accepted. He just needed to send them more information on the assignment and they’d come right over-
A deafening, shrill sound filled the room, forcing Florès to cover his ears in shock. As he uncovered his ears, looking around the room as wondered where the sound came from, he saw Madison’s body on the ground. “Russellita!” He rushed to her side, checking for her pulse (and sighing in relief when he did) when he realized she was the one that had screamed.
He picked her up, rushing outside of his office, when the intercom turned on. He initially groaned in annoyance, before remembering what Code Titanomachy stood for.
Titans were up, and they were mad.

What’s Mine is yours chapter 6
Izuku spun to look at Katsuki, hands flying up to cover his mouth, eyes, if possible, wider than usual. In the past, Katsuki would have found the abject horror on the nerd’s face hilarious, but right now it was just another punch to the gut.
He watched Izuku flinch away from him. He watched the nerd’s head whip between the door that Todoroki just went through, and back to him. Watched the tears start to fill those big emerald eyes. Heard Izuku mutter an apology to him for 'what he had said.’
Before he could say a word, all he could see is green hair flying away from him and doors slamming between them. His hand dropped to his side, his mouth opened and closed a couple of times, still unable to get the words he knew he should have said out into the empty space the nerd used to occupy.
Over the next few weeks, Katsuki noticed that things were, no pun intended, chilly between Izuku and his (other) soulmate. This did not make Katsuki feel better like he thought it should. A fact that frustrated Katsuki and made him even snappier and more waspish than he previously had been.
“Bakubro!” Kirishima was yelling at him as he got onto the bus to their licensing exam, and honestly, Katsuki couldn’t think of a better place to sit than with the rock. It was better than getting stuck with the spark plug, or invisibitch.
He flung himself into the seat and scooted over by the window. Kirishima then perched on the outside edge of the seat and Katsuki roughly jammed his headphones into his ears, pulling his hoodie over his head. He proceeded to stare broodily out the window for the entire trip to the arena.
When the test began, Izuku immediately took charge, and because Katsuki found that new confidence incredibly, distractingly attractive, he decided to go off on his own. However, much to his chagrin, the electric wonder and Kirishima decided to follow him.
Katsuki also noticed that the Icy-Hot dweeb had decided to go off on his own as well instead of staying to assist his other half. Katsuki almost went back, but there was still way too much left unsaid there, and he was not up for hashing that out right at this moment.
To Katsuki’s eternal surprise, the only reason he and Kirishima passed the first part of the test was because of the moronic lightning rod, and as they entered the space for those who have passed, he searched the room for Todoroki and Izuku, finding them clustered with their other classmates. He breathed a sigh of relief.
That relief didn’t last long, because the next part of the test was starting, and Izuku was walking past him, shooting him a triumphant little grin. Katsuki’s brain was short-circuiting. Izuku turned that smile on Todoroki, and Katsuki’s brain was a tangle of red rage and green jealousy.
This was not good. Katsuki listened to the instructions that they were to save and triage the victims in this area. That they would be ranked on their ability to do so, but Katsuki could not get his brain to function enough to be civil to the examiners.
He was rude to two people who were pretending to be injured during the scenario. He was distracted and preoccupied during the fight with Gang Orca.
With all of this, plus his shortcomings in the first part of the test, he was only vaguely surprised at his failure to pass the test. What did surprise him was that he was going to be stuck in a make-up class with Todoroki.
How could the golden boy have failed? Were things really that bad with him and the nerd? Katsuki was proud of Izuku for passing. He could also see how the nerd was both euphoric about passing and heartbroken over whatever issues still existed between him and Todoroki.
Katsuki wasn’t sure what, if there was anything he could do, but he resolved that if he had to do these classes with the dual user, he was going to figure out how to fix his nerd while they are stuck together.
On the first day of the class for those who failed the exam, Katsuki and Todoroki walked to the train together. They rode in silence, though Katsuki noticed that Todoroki never stopped staring at a photo of him and Izuku on his phone.
Katsuki rolled his eyes at the absolutely pining look on Todoroki’s face. “What’s up with you and the nerd?” he asked, trying to appear unconcerned and condescending, and apparently failing miserably, as Todoroki snorts.
“Subtle, Bakugo, real subtle.” He leaned his head back against the window of the train, scrubbing his hands over his tired eyes. “I suppose there is no reason NOT to tell you. Since you were right there for the beginning of it, eavesdropping and all.” Todoroki raised an eyebrow at Katsuki.
Katsuki refused to dignify this with a blush. He set his mouth into a snarl instead. “Yeah, I heard some. Why the HELL would you tell the nerd that I love him if you don’t plan on giving up on him?”
Todoroki smiled at him, “Izuku and I do not keep secrets from one another. Possibly to the detriment of our relationship,” he grimaces, ”but he deserved to know, and I deserved to know if I needed to worry.”
“The issue with the two of us now is that, as you heard, there is a reason for me to worry, and neither of us are sure what to do with that information.” He looked at Katsuki, laughing sardonically. “I don’t want to lose him, but I don’t want him to feel like something is missing. I want to be enough for him, but I know that you will always be there in his heart. I hate you for what you did to him, but I know that you are the thing that is missing for him.”
He laughed again. “Sometimes I think that sharing him is the only real way to make this whole thing work, but then we are back to the whole me hating you thing.” He groaned and dropped his face into his hands. “Is that even allowed? He still doesn’t believe that you could ever love him, but if I could convince him of it, is it legal? Would it be enough for me to keep even a piece of him? Would it be enough for you?” He looked at Katsuki desperately, and Katsuki was again left speechless.
