Delly baby... it's been awhile since I drew him so yeah!! Something about Delly's state symbols feel whimsical, much like NH's 😌 good for them truly! I saw that his state fruit were strawberries so... why not give him a good ol' snack of many berries
Meanwhile Mass and Maine has... several state symbols relating to cranberries for mass and blueberries for maine... so greedy like they've not eaten all day... Jersey put in a lot of work to grow those things just for them to eat all of the berries he gifted them immediately like some monsters 😠

Maine being Maine. I think this is the second time i’ve ever drawn him? Dunno, it’s been awhile. I’ve had these cool gel crayons layin around so i used em. and stickers. he’s pretty and i think of gray, blue, and off white grainy vintage pictures of light houses and rocky beaches when i think of him. cutiepie

Heyyy, had a random thought (oh no) about some states...
Given how in Maine Joins the Table, Loui says his people are from Maine, I don't think we talk enough about their relationship. Like I think that while Mass and Flo definitely fuss over him a lot, Maine does the same too except that it's more of in an older brother way (sort of like your Texas). Since he, like Alaska, is away in the woods most of the time and, like the rest of the NE, is terrible at expressing his emotions, everyone would know it's something pretty serious if Maine appears to be concerned about Loui. In my opinion, he's sort of like the sibling version of that one aunt who deeply cares for you but lives far away. Idk this is just a hc.

Mainlaska
(I wanted to get this out before midnight so it may be shorter than my other fics)
After Maine and Alaska met each other, they became pretty good friends. Maine hung out in Alaska’s garage a lot and they seemed to have a special bond. Maine felt happy and safe around Alaska but couldn’t admit to himself that he had a crush on Alaska. This was until one day, where the Northern lights were shining bright in the night sky.
“Hey, Maine, the Northern Lights are out tonight, wanna go outside and see them?” Alaska asked.
“That sounds nice, I’ll come with you.” Maine replied.
Alaska picked up Maine bridal style which always made Maine feel special. Alaska carried him out to the beautiful snowy grass and they sat on the ground. Maine was mesmerized at the colors that flowed across the night sky. The beautiful lights. He looked beside him to see how well they showed off Alaska’s beautiful features and his focus immediately shifted to Alaska. Staring him up and down, studying all of his handsome features. How badly he wished to kiss Alaska.
“Hey, the lights are up there, bud.” Alaska joked.
“I know.” Maine said.
Alaska noticed the way Maine was looking at him. The way Maine’s eyes trailed down Alaska’s body mesmerisingly. Alaska got a little nervous in a good way.
“Are you…are you checking me out?” Alaska asked nervously.
“Maybe…” Maine said very flustered.
Alaska was now flustered as ever. He had never actually been in this state before. No one seemed to actually care about him this much. Him and Hawaii were friends, but Maine was something special. Like some special connection that he never had with Hawaii. Alaska adored Maine and something seemed to be going off in his head.
Maine shifted over so he was sitting in Alaska’s lap. The physical touch seemed to spark something in both their hearts and they smiled at each other.
“This is pretty romantic.” Maine said.
“It really is, isn’t it?” Alaska replied.
Maine looked at Alaska and pulled him closer by the flaps on his hat. He connected their lips and started to kiss Alaska. He was a little surprised at first, but started kissing back after a second. It was a pretty long and passionate kiss. It was very romantic. Once Maine pulled away, he looked straight into Alaska’s beautiful green eyes.
“I love you, Alaska.”
Alaska looked right back at him and smiled.
“I love ya too, little guy.”

hey wttt folks are you sick of drawing hats ? have a baseball cap tutorial since they're the only fucking thing ben wears !!!!!! 🫶 (written instruction under cut)
1. Draw an infinity symbol; from a side view, the center of the symbol should be near the center of the forehead; from a forward facing view, just above the ear to either side.
2. Use the curvature of the symbol as a guide to make the hat brim
3. Add the rest of the hat! The cap should stay relatively close to the head :) touch up where needed and add detail
