Whew Alice Oseman has to have magical storytelling powers! Last year when Heartstopper premiered, I watched it in a day. This afternoon, I read Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 in one sitting. And I’ve already ordered Vol. 3 and Vol. 4 to read in the near future as I rewatch S1 and finally watch S2.

So, forgive me if I suddenly start blogging/reblogging and maybe even fic writing a lot of Heartstopper in the near future 😅 I’m hooked on this story!

Heartstopper Vol. 2 by Alice Oseman

Returning to the emotional and cute world created by Alice Oseman, the second graphic novel in the series is a gentle tale of discovering and understanding feelings.

Within this sequel, we see Charlie and Nick come out, grow closer, and gain a supportive friend group. While Vol. 1 dealt more with Charlie’s anxiety over his feelings for Nick and concerns about getting his heart broken; this version deals with Nick coming to terms with his feelings and coming out to those close to him.
