I think one of my personal favorite Glenn tidbits is one that I don’t think some people have heard before.
When they went back and did talking dads for the first 7 episodes after the end of season 1 (I think it’s from ep 6 or 7) they talked about character creation and how you come up with the ideas for a character. They bring up this idea from a book that you first come up with what a character likes, what they hate, and what they want more than anything.
They then decided to do a retrospective one of these for their s1 characters. When it came around to Freddie the first 2 we’re pretty self explanatory, basically boiling down to like: weed and freedom dislikes: rules and the man.
That third question though
What Glenn wants more than anything in the world?
Is for everything to stay exactly the way it is.
And that, I think, is one of the most important parts in understanding Glenn

so much happened in this whole episode but i’m still on fig infiltrating ruben’s dream, making it look like the place where his friend was murdered, and then disguising herself as kipperlilly & repeatedly saying different variants of “somebody needs to take the fall for this, and it’s not going to be me. it’s going to be you.” while adaine as the elven oracle shows up next to her. can you imagine waking up from that, the idea of a horrible truth being pinned on you by your friend to save her own skin while the personification of fate and destiny stands there, almost as a promise that this is GOING to happen to you. we don’t even know if this kid is guilty. my god.

Rough start
Nightmare has been changing scripts for a very long time, so when Ink learned he was about to meet the “hero” that would defeat him, he was very excited. Later he got mad that the hero also changes scripts lol
Ink belongs to comyet/myebi
Dream belongs to Jokublog
Core Frisk belongs to dokudoki
Transcription:
Ink: That’s it, you’re going back to the Omega Timeline and Core is babysitting you for a while
Dream: What?! But if I stay in the Omega Timeline, I won’t have enough energy to fight my brother!
Ink: WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULD’VE THOUGHT ABOUT THAT! BEFORE YOU INTERACTED AND CHANGED THE STORY! BEHIND MY BACK!!
Ink: MON DIEU, EVERYBODY SAYS I HAVE A BAD MEMORY, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE YOU HAVE IT WORSE THAN ME! EVERYTHING I SAY TO YOU JUST GOES OUT THE WINDOW AND YOU DO WHATEVER YOU WANT BUT AT THE SAME TIME YOU CANT EVEN STAND UP FOR YOURSELF AND…
Dream: (Wow, I really messed up…)
Core: Don’t worry about Ink, he’s been fighting Nightmare solo for 400 years during your absence. He’ll be fine

the entire point of the blue food was that it was the only way sally could consistently rebel against gabe without getting her or percy punished. sally is not and never was submissive in the books. percy himself says sally has "a rebellious streak, like me." however, sally and percy were under threat of serious abuse from gabe and therefore had to pick their battles. blue food was sally's way of telling percy "i am here and fighting with you" and "there is hope in the world still."

its really interesting to me how kaidou says he feels like saiki is protecting/looking out for all of them somehow. like do they all have some kind of innate sense that the Weird Things happening around them are saikis doing? or do you think saiki gives off a strong "if anything happens to my friends im going to become the joker" vibe that he doesnt even notice

imagining a world in which Simon agreed to go with Edwin and try to escape hell, imagining Simon developing an immediate and very inadvisable crush on the cute guy that just threw a grenade at a demon and Edwin's reaction to that, imagining the reaction of Charles Overprotective Rowland when he finds out that the guy Edwin insists on dragging along with them is one of the guys that sacrificed him to a demon in the first place, imagining the Night Nurse's face when three dead boys pop back through the door instead of two

Just a little fun detail..
THAT KUDO IS SO SHORT HE TUCKS HIS PANTS IN HIGH BOOTS.
Bruce wears those pants just fine, so he wears normal shoes. But Kudo? Look at how big they are on him. He wears boots almost up to his KNEES just to wear those pants. They're so baggy on him that the middle part for where the crotch goes, it's also almost down to his knees
Guy, where'd you get the pants? Are you just that short? Or did you take them from the long-legged Bruce?

TW: Heavy talk about death
I think the reason why Kai and Cole had such a radical emotional change after March of the Oni was because Lloyd died
We’ve had plenty of characters die in Ninjago, and it always had a horrific affect on the ninja emotionally. Despite all their adventures and godlike powers they’re still older teenagers and young adults- of course when their sibling or lover dies in the fight they’re gonna want to avoid the fight itself
I think it was different for Lloyd tho- Lloyd despite losing the golden power is still the most powerful ninja. He’s not meant to lose, out of all of the ninja he’s the one who’s least likely to die and I think they know that.
So when he died facing down the Oni, even briefly, that would make the ninja doubtful and even afraid of their own mortality-
Kai’s hotheadedness and desire for the fury of battle dies when he see’s his little brother unresponsive on the floor. If he can die, so can Kai
Coles stubborn facade and die hard attitude gets a reality check when the kid who defeated the incarnate of evil lies dead in front of him
It would just be a reality check for them. Both have had to look death in the eyes many times before, but experiencing death is something that they themselves wouldn’t often think about.
Just a theory

as requested:
mutates a terribly boring character the narrative is SCREAMING at me to finding sploosh-inducingly charming on the basis of Evil Is Sexy and literally nothing else by injecting him with secret cringefail loser genes
i did not put much effort into visual changes bc that'd be a waste of my own creativity, but i did a lil sumn at least. i spent less than 30 minutes total brainstorming a new baseline concept for whatever his deal is supposed to be and drawing this.

Accidentally Undercover - It's one thing to know your nice neighbor is also a secret agent, and probably not scared of you. It's quite another to see them react to what you usually only use for intimidation (:
