🍂 Joy List 🍂

Big thanks to my lovelies, @energievie, @lizelandre, @metalheadmickey and @suzy-queued for tagging me to make this list, squishy hugs to each of you 🥰💙

🍁 The weather getting cooler as fall approaches us. I feel more like myself again with each passing day and see the season as a chance for a fresh start every year.

🕯 All the coziness autumn brings. Rainy days, hoodies, scented candles, warm beverages, plush blankets, all the hues and colors around me. It has been my second favorite season after spring for a while now, but I find myself leaning more towards it the older I get.

🏙 My newly renovated balcony. It was a huge labor of love this summer and we finally get to enjoy the benefits of it now, it's become my favorite place to relax at the end of the day.

🏡 Keeping my home clean, organized and peaceful. It truly is my sanctuary and I love investing my time in it and keeping it that way.

👩‍🦰 Being able to take a break from work as I sort myself out and having the understanding and support from my loved ones to do so.

📺 Supernatural marathons with my husband. It's been a while since he's shared something he's passionate about with me and even though we are just finishing S1 it has been really fun so far!

🫂 Friends seeking comfort and advice in me when they are troubled and vulnerable and me actually being able to help them out just through conversation. I strive to be open and honest with those I care about and it warms my heart to see it reflected back at me.

🐇 All the intelligence and sass my pet bunny displays on a daily basis. He figured out we didn't properly latch his enclosure and had a field day rummaging through the broom closet this morning. He can solve a dog's logic toy in under 30 seconds and can do various tricks. He stares at me when he wants food, grunts like a pig while happily running around and does his own version of purring (chomping his teeth) when I pet him. He's just the BEST.

🎃 Only 2 months left til Halloween! I host a get-together at my place for close family and friends every year and am so pumped already, especially since it will be my little nephew's second Halloween party.

🧠 Psychology. It's becoming a growing interest of mine and even though I do regret not picking it as my major in retrospect, I'm thankful to be able to explore it as an interest now.

✅️ Getting tagged in just about anything here! I love participating and seeing your lovely names in my notifications always makes me happy.

✒️ Getting my writing inspiration back! I have so many ideas for my memory box fic and am reveling in the fact that I feel this motivated about something, it's been a hot minute.

💙 This fandom and all the mind-blowing fics, art and humans behind them. It's all so inspiring to me on a creative as well as personal level and there's no way the previous point would be possible without all of you.

✒️ STORY: It was cold and gloomy October afternoon when a man returned from the cemetery after paying respects to his late wife one last time. Somehow he had a strange feeling that he has been followed. He locked the door behind him, came to the window and looked outside but there was nothing there. Just a thick fog and veil of rain so heavy he could barely see dying trees through it. A man sighed heavily and threw his soaking wet coat and cane on the armchair. It was a long day and he just wanted it to end. He sat at his desk and started casually sorting his papers and books and answering letters while listening to heavy rain drops hitting against the glass. He spent several hours getting everything in order once in a while pouring himself a little bit of absinthe. A couple of times he got distracted by some strange and unexplainable noises like a scream or a moan. "Probably a wolf or just thunder", he thought. At some point he glanced at his wife's portrait above the desk. She looked so beautiful and young yet deep sadness in her eyes indicated she has already been touched by a mysterious illness. Her blank eyes were fixated on him. A man felt a wave of anger rising in him. "It was a perfect experiment", he thought. "Nothing could go wrong." But now that she is dead he will never find out. "She destroyed everything. She was too weak." At this moment a sudden chilling sound forced him back into reality. He could not point out what it was but he surmised that it came from the window. He turned in his chair and felt a cold grip of fear on his neck. There was a palm mark on the window. And it was covered in blood.

"I know what you did", he heard his wife's cold voice whispering in his ear.

Spooky questions: besides the obvious such as watching horror movies or shows, what are your favorite activities for the spooky szn? For me it's carving pumpkins, watching Shane Madej and Ryan Bergara trying to hunt ghosts on Youtube (or scary stuff in general, spooky special videos of youtubers I follow, etc) and I also visit stores to see if they're selling Halloween decorations yet! 🎃🧡🎃🧡🎃🧡 But where I live the hot weather isn't even gone yet... I WANT COLD WEATHERRR 😩

Ooo yes I’ve gotten this question already but I’m happy to answer it again because I just fucking love it lol! ✨ Well as I’ve mentioned before my most fav things is baking spooky treats! I even wanna start my own little business maybe someday just specifically baking for the holiday season! Just wanna come up with a good name but can’t think of one atm lol! And I also love doing yummy halloween recipes in general, like I would literally buy books just for that! Or create my own! 🎃 If I have kids someday, Halloween parties for them are gonna be the best esp with my homemade treats! 🖤 And YESSS that’s also another activity of mine too! Home decor shopping is my WEAKNESS and I buy a shitton of fall themed candles too lol! 🕯
