autistic4autistic jmart except one of them kind of had no idea until now

this is a little comic i made of my bestie @jewishjon's fic "stay with me, my darling" for her birthday because i thought this scene was funny and i like making comics so :) fun experiment! yea

[image description: three black and white comic pages of jon and martin. jon is a thin brown pakistani person and martin is a fat light-skinned mixed filipino man. they both have backpacks on their shoulders.

the first page has two close up panels of jon and martin's respective faces. jon is grinning with amusement as he says, "Did you not find it strange that we both like to sleep with large amounts of weight on top of us? Or that we regularly help each other understand social cues?", to which martin says worriedly, "I-I thought we were just similar! That's supposed to be a sign of a good relationship!"

below, a full-page panel shows jon laughing as he walks down a path in the apocalypse, with martin looking angrily after him. the panopticon can be seen in the distance. jon says, "Ah, yes. Of course. Similarities, such as having autism," to which martin exclaims, "Don't laugh at me!"

the two are pictured laughing in a panel on the second page. in a smaller panel, martin looks worried as he says, "What should i do?" below that is a full page panel of jon looking up at martin amidst some fog. martin continues, "After we stop the apocalypse, I mean. Do I have to get... diagnosed? Is there a procedure for when your all-knowing boyfriend has already confirmed that you're autistic?"

in three panels below that, jon says, "To be fair, I haven't exactly used my powers to confirm it." he looks a bit sheepish. "Just my very much non-supernatural..." (he takes a moment to clear his throat here) "Autismdar." there are sparkles around him as he says this.

in the third page, martin snorts, laughing. "Autismdar?" he looks amused as jon says, "Well, people often refer to gaydars so I thought... Hey, it might catch on!"

martin pulls a pouty jon to his chest and says, "I don't think it's gonna catch on, love."

in a full-page frame overlooking the panopticon with multiple eyes closing in on it, jon says, "Just you wait. In a few years, every autistic person will have followed my example and started regularly referring to their… Their autismdar." martin says, "Points for effort?" to which jon replies, "Hmm."]
