💭roommates to lovers (100 followers special)

“oh my god, are you okay?” you heard jisung exclaim as soon as he saw you in the kitchen. you were trying to make yourself some tea but your hands were shaking and you felt like you were going to faint.

you woke up with the worst headache you’d had in your entire life. the night before you decided to come back from work by foot, since you were waiting to get your paycheck and didn’t want to waste your last money on a taxi. since the evenings were getting colder now and you didn’t wear a coat or anything that would keep you warm, you were now suffering the aftermath of the walk.

“yeah, i’m just kind of tired,” you tried to sound convincing but your voice was so hoarse it startled both jisung and you. he obviously didn’t believe you, so he came closer to you and gently placed his hand on your forehead. “damn, you’re burning up,” he simply acknowledged and you looked at him. he was really close to you and for a split moment you wanted to just fall into his arms.

some may think that it’s so cliche to fall for your roommate, but how could you not? jisung was always kind to you, he always knew how to make you feel better after a long day and knew when to leave you alone because you were too stressed and worn out. he was just so thoughtful and caring that you wondered if he would be the same as a partner. not that you planned to confess anyway.

“go to your room,” he ordered suddenly and you breathed a faint “what?”. “you heard me yn, you look like a ghost. go to your room and lay down, i’ll go to the pharmacy for some medicine.” you were caught off guard by his firm tone, but since you really didn’t feel good and you weren’t in a mood to argue you just nodded and did as he said. you covered yourself with a ton of blankets and quickly fell asleep.

the noises outside your room woke you up. you heard some rustling from the kitchen as well as jisung talking to someone on the phone. after a while you heard a knock on your door and jisung entered the room with a tray in his hands. “how are you feeling? i made you some chicken noodle soup. i’m not sure if it’s good but i called my mom and she helped me cook it. she said it works wonders for the flu,” he said quietly and placed the tray on your bedside table. then he helped you to sit up and took the bowl with soup in his hands. you reached out to take it from him but he moved away a bit. you looked at him, confused and he just shook his head. “i’ll feed you,” he then stated and it left you dumbfounded. “ji, i may be weak but i think i’ll be able to hold a spoon,” you chuckled. “i know, i just… i mean, if you don’t want me to, it’s fine, here,” he responded nervously, his cheeks becoming pink, and he handed you the spoon. you took a glance at it and then it was your turn to shake your head. “it’s okay. go ahead,” you gave him a green light and after a while he started to feed you the soup. he was cautious, trying his best not to douse you with the soup. “okay, that’s enough, i can’t eat more,” you sighed after half of the bowl was empty. jisung raised an eyebrow, clearly not convinced. you saw his gaze and added “my throat feels like sandpaper, i physically can’t eat more”. he giggled at that and placed the bowl down. he then took some pills and a glass of water from the tray and handed them to you. “take this. according to the pharmacist, it also works wonders for the flu.” you laughed softly at his words. he was so caring towards you it made you delusional, you really wanted someone like him as your partner. you wanted him as your partner.

you obediently swallowed the medication and you grimaced when you accidentally tasted one. “oh god, that’s awful,” you coughed and gave jisung the now empty glass. you laid down and it seemed as if you were drowning in the amount of blankets you were under. “you know it’s actually bad for you to cover yourself that much when you’re sick?” “but i’m cold…” you whispered. jisung gave you a soft look, seeing you all weak and vulnerable made his heart melt. he didn’t vocalise his feelings towards you, too scared to ruin your little friendship that developed throughout the past year of living together.

“i know but it’s really not good for you,” he tried to convince you and you thought about it for a while. “fine, but maybe you could… um…” you started, but then shook your head and whispered a faint “nevermind” and simply took some of the blanket off of yourself. “hmm, what did you say?” jisung asked, too curious to let it slide. you thought for a moment and decided to ask him - the worst that could happen is him saying no. “could you, um, cuddle me? that way i won’t need all these blankets.” jisung stared at you, speechless. you started fidgeting with the hem of your hoodie, thinking it was a bad decision, but then he mumbled a simple “yeah, of course” and you felt as if a weight was taken from your chest. he soon laid by your side and took you into his arms. if your nose wasn’t so stuffed you would for sure inhale his cologne. he felt so soft and safe and it made you actually sob a little bit. jisung stroked your head, detangling some messy hair strands from time to time. it helped you relax and you closed your eyes, wishing you could stay like this forever.

after a while you suddenly heard jisung speak. “you know, sometimes i dream about holding you like this.” at first, you supposed he was talking to someone over the phone and you pretended to still be asleep, not wanting to interrupt, but then the meaning of his words hit you. was he speaking to you? “i’m glad i’m the one who’s taking care of you. i wish i could be with you and take care of you more and hold you in my arms more and just… i don’t know, just be with you yn,” he whispered and it made your heart ache. oh my god, did jisung also have a crush on you? “then be with me,” you simply said. it caught jisung off guard, when you opened your puffy eyes you noticed his frightened gaze and quivering lips. “are you serious?” he said, his words barely above the whisper. “i am.” “i’m gonna kiss you, okay?” “don’t, you’ll get sick” “i don’t care.” with that jisung captured your lips in a soft kiss, letting you set the pace. “i think i’m not cold anymore,” you giggled when you broke the kiss to catch a breath. and jisung laughed as well, caressing your now rosy cheeks.

You and Chan were adjusting to parenthood well. You loved it, and he did too. A baby Bahng– Haneul Rei Bahng– Chan’s proudest accomplishment. But, he missed the studio, which was why he had a studio built into your shared house.

That’s exactly where he was right now, with a tiny Haneul on his chest. At only 1 month old, she was already in the studio, though she just wanted to be with her appa. It was midafternoon, and you had woken up from a nap. Usually, you were met with Chan singing to Haneul or her crying……but, the house was quiet. Too quiet. Sitting up on your bed, you stretched and kicked your legs over the side of the bed, Chan and Haneul nowhere in sight. “Hm? Where are they?” You asked yourself, throwing one of Chan’s hoodies and slippers into a pair of slippers. You checked her nursery, no one was there. The master bathroom? Think again. So, you wandered downstairs, singing to yourself. “ Where is my Channieeeeee? And my princesssss?” You hummed.

The kitchen. Empty. The living room? Nope. The laundry room? Still, no luck.

So, you wandered to the basement. Where the main gathering area– for game nights and movie nights to be held with his bandmates– was empty. As was the basement bedroom and half bathroom. Smiling to yourself, you saw the door to his studio closed. Softly knocking, you peeked your head in– wanting to respect his space because his studio was his safe place(other than with you). “Channie? Bubs, you in here?” You asked, as you gently pushed the door open. He was,but he couldn’t hear you, and he was focused. Fingers clicking away on his soundboard, adjusting, rearranging and editing different sound clips. “Does that sound okay, Haneul?” You heard him whisper. She just gazed up at him, her cheek against his chest with a pacifier in her mouth. He chuckled, “Then again….you don’t know what these sounds are.” He giggled, kissing her forehead, before he adjusted her on his chest. Humming to himself, he went back to his work, writing down notes in the notebook on his desk. “Frick…..that doesn’t sound right,” he mumbled. “What if I……put it…….here.” He tapped his chin, eyes scanning over the screen, as he moved the clip to another spot and listened to the playback. “Aaaaah, yeah. Better better. Okay.” Haneul was growing sleepy, her afternoon nap time approaching. “Ooooh, is Princess Haneul tired,hhm?” He cooed, soothingly patting her back, humming a lullaby at her. “Somewhere over the rainbow.Way up high.There's a land that I heard of.Once in a lullaby,Somewhere over the rainbow.Skies are blue,” Chan sang, running a gentle finger over her cheek, as her eyes fluttered shut.

Deciding to step in, you smiled, walking over and kissing his cheek. “Hi, my love.” You whispered, sitting in your designated chair. Yes, you had a chair because you also spent a lot of time in the studio with Chan. Slightly jumping, he smiled and pressed a kiss to your lips. “Geez scared me, baby. Didn’t see you come in,” He giggled, eyes crinkling up. “Mhm, woke up from a nap to be met with an empty house,” You pouted , leaning your chin on his shoulder. “Sorry, darling. Had a song idea, and needed to get in here.” He chuckled, still patting Haneul’s back. Smiling you nodded, nuzzling into him. “Speaking of naps, is our baby girl asleep?” You asked, leaning down to press a soft kiss to the top of her head. Looking down to where she lay on his chest, Chan nodded. “Think so, oh she’s so cute.” He cooed, seeing his baby asleep on his chest.

You, too, have fallen asleep in the studio . Whether it was on his lap, on the small couch or in your chair. You looked at Haneul and smiled. “She reminds me of when you fall asleep in here,” he chuckled. “Your lips all pouty and your cheek squished against the couch or chair or my chest,” he cooed at you, pinching your cheek. “Yah, don’t blame me.It’s so cozy in here, smells like you and is so warm, plus you take so long.” You giggled, sticking your tongue out at him. Shaking his head, he booped your nose. “That’s how I feel about being in your arms, so warm and cozy and you smell so good, darling.” He smiled, pecking your lips before adjusting a now sleeping Haneul. “She’s so precious. Aw, look at her little cheeks,” you cooed, finger softly running over her cheek, her hand gripping Chan’s shirt. “She is, just like her mummy.” Cha smiled at you, saving the file to his computer , and turning to you.

“Do you think she’ll be a producer in the future, darling?”

Chan : physical touch

you've been staring at your computer for the past four hours

so when you hear the front door open, you quickly run to the bathroom to freshen up

giving three quick slaps to your face so chan wouldn't notice how tired you are

but as soon as he sees you, he opens his arms wide, inviting you in with a soft smile on his face

once his arms encircle you, you feel yourself tear up

the hug is warm and comforting and it makes all your self-restraint dissolve

you start to sob, and chan tries to let go to look at you

but you only tighten your hold on him

so he bends down slowly to pick you up as he moves to the nearest couch

he sits there and your legs are straddling his lap, and he sways you gently, his hand threading through your hair

he doesn't let go as you cry your entire stress out

he just holds you tightly to him, your chest snug against his

he's just like "it's okay, you're okay honey, i got you"

when you pull away, hiccuping, he gently wipes your tears away

grabbing your face between his hands to place a kiss on your forehead

"breathe for me, sweetheart"

he doesn't let go of you the entire night

Minho : acts of service

minho can sense your breakdown coming

he notices how stressed you are

but he doesn't want to pressure you or force you to stop working

so instead, he tries to lighten your load

doing your laundry, buying your groceries for you, washing the dishes in your sink

small acts that he does in silence in the hopes that it will make you feel better

when it's 10 pm and he comes into your room

he sees you sitting in front of your mirror, staring blankly ahead, freshly showered

he gently squeezes your right shoulder and you melt into his touch, leaning your cheek onto his hand

he then sits you on the edge of the bed, kneeling in front of you to apply the products for you

when you see how concentrated he is at picking the right products and in the right order

you start to tear up

because of the stress but mostly because of how loved he makes you feel, since you notice every little action of his

so when you start crying he panics, rising up in an attempt to stop your tears from falling

"hey, hey, baby. I'm sorry I'll get the order right"

but you shake your head and grab him from the nape of his neck, pulling him closer to you

you kiss him as hard as you can, trying your best to convey how grateful you are for him

Changbin : quality time + gift (in a food form) giving

Changbin can tell you are overworking yourself

so he tries to prevent a breakdown from happening

he knows that what you need is a distraction and a way to recharge yourself

so one night when you are busy working in your bedroom

he sneakily opens the door and pulls you by your hand

he treats you like a kid, picking you up and only placing you down to slip a pair of shoes in your feet

and pulling a hoodie over your head

then he's picking you up again and running to the street with you in his arms

once he's sure you won't run away, he places you down the ground and laces his hand with yours

he takes you on a walk, around the neighborhood, and he's like "what are you craving? what do you want to eat? I'll buy anything for you"

when you finally decide on a meal he takes you to a nearby park where you're alone

"tell me about it, baby" he tells you while you're both eating

so you vent about everything's that's bothering you

he listens to you intently and when you are done he's like "do you want comfort or advice?"

if it's comfort then he's telling you how proud he is of you and how everything you are feeling is valid

if it's advice then he's trying to figure out how you can write four essays in one day

but he'll be there with you

and when you are back home you're feeling very recharged

because a break with him is exactly what you needed

Hyunjin : quality time + physical touch

hyunjin knows that when you're stressed you tend to forget to take care of yourself

so he's always there to remind you

texts throughout the day, little notes left on your desk and fridge

"drink water baby!!" "did you eat? you should eat again"

but he also wants to do something really meagninful for you to help you destress

so one night when you are coming home from the library

you open the door and you are met with a candlelight dinner

and you can see a makeshift pillow fort built in the living room

as soon as he sees you he's all rambling "i know I'm not the best cook and i understand if you don't want to eat it and we can always order takeout-"

and you're like shut up and kiss me

and when you realize he's made you dinner and dessert and ordered your favorite icecream, you're tearing up again

but he knows how good it feels to cry so he just opens his arms for you and you bury yourself in him

he gently pats your back as you cry

and once you're done he smiles so brightly at you, bopping your nose with his finger

he's like "no more crying okay?"

and he spends the entire night trying his hardest to make you laugh

Han : words of reassurance

instead of leaving you alone when you are working

han is always there

he's besides you on the bed working on a track of his own

or just scrolling through his phone

but he's there, glancing at you from time to time as if you're a ticking time bomb

as soon as he notices that your sighs are getting longer and heavier

he stands up quickly from his place

he grabs your face between his hands, looking at you with wide eyes

"baby you are so smart you got this. and i love you. and i can't believe I'm dating the smartest person in the world"

just compliment after compliment and sometimes they are so far fetched you can't help but giggle

but when you are really at your lowest point and on the verge of breaking down

he just guides you to the bed and his voice is so soft

and it takes on that low tone of his, as if he hasn't been so sure about anything in his life

he's looking you right in the eye while telling you how proud he is of you

and you can't help but tear up at his words

because it gets hard and sometimes all you need to hear is that someone is proud of you

he then pecks your face all over

nose, eyelids, forehead and cheeks, until you are smiling widely again

Felix : physical touch + gift (in food form again) giving

he's a massage fairy i will die by this hill

at the end of the day he's always there ready to undo any knot in your body

he's so gentle with you, massaging your sore shoulders and neck

all while telling you how hard you worked today and how proud he is of you

and you can feel yourself relax completely from his touch

sleep doesn't come easily to you when you are stressed

since you can't help but overthink about everything going on in your life

so he's ready for you with a warm glass of milk and honey, or tea

he lays your head on his lap while he plays with your hair

telling you again how all of this hard work will be worth it and pay off in the end

sometimes you'd lay on his chest while he hums a lullaby under his breath

sometimes you'd just ask him to tell you a story, because his voice drowns out all the thoughts in your head

but he's always touching you throughout it

grazing your arms, massaging your scalp, playing with your fingers

anything to remind you he's there

once you're asleep he'd get up to make you cookies

so you'd eat them the next day and remember him by when he isn't around

Seungmin : quality time + words of reassurance

he knows not to push your buttons when you are stressed

so he leaves you be but he keeps an eye on you to make sure that you're still okay and not on the verge of breaking down

but once he can sense that you reached your limit

either because you are bouncing your leg up and down

or your head is now between your hands

he comes up from behind, placing a chaste kiss on your temple

if you hug him tighter then that's his cue that you need a break

and he's ready for it

he orders your favorite meal, plays your comfort movie and brings out your softest blankets

anything to make you feel comfortable

your legs are propped up on his lap and he gently skims his hand up and down them

when the movie is done, he turns off the tv and turns to look at you

"what do you need baby?"

if it's venting then he's there to listen and if you need to get back to work then he hugs you tightly to him, before ruffling your hair

and if you say "just you" then he's bringing you to his chest

he won't move an inch until you let go first

jeongin came home late that day

so when he enters your room he finds you typing furiously on your laptop

and he's like hey! but you don't reply

so he leans from the side to look at you and then he notices how you are crying

your tears are wetting your keyboard and yet you are still typing

so he's panicking, grabbing your hands so you'd stop working

that seems to snap you out of your haze and you look at him, eyes full of unshed tears

he's like "are you okay? that's a stupid question you are not okay"

he just hates seeing you cry and he's always flustered at first when you are sad

but then he pulls you up and leads you to bed

he makes you sit on his lap and you are burying your face in the crook of his neck

his tone is so soft and sweet and it makes you want to spill everything to him

The sunset in Seoul is on another level tonight. The golden rays reflect off of every surface it can reach, creating a beautiful field of deep orange around you. It was Jisung's idea to go on a drive, he wanted to get out of the house and proposed that the two of you grab something to eat and find a place to sit. It started raining shortly after you picked up your food but the last thing on your minds was going home. You drove around, the savory smell of your meals taunting you as you searched for a pretty shot to park and eat. Once Jisung found the perfect spot you set up quickly, eating and talking like you haven't been laid up on each other all weekend.

The car fell quiet when the rain picked up a bit. There were barely any clouds in the sky, the early evening sun caught the reflection of each droplet that fell from above. Turning it into a drop of honey for just a second before it pooled on the concrete. The view that the two of you found was beautiful. It's a small spot, almost hidden, you'll miss it if you don't look for it. It overlooks the Han river at a breathtaking angle. There's just enough room in front of the car that you could have a picnic here if you wanted to. You'll remember that for next weekend.

“Baby.” Jisung calls to you before taking another bite of his food. “Wanna do something?”

You hum, swallowing what's in your mouth and keeping your gaze on the evening view. “Like what?”

“I dunno.” He stares down at the food container in his lap, pondering his thoughts for a second before a soft grin pulls at his lips. “Can I kiss you?”

A light chuckle escapes you and you cover your full mouth as you smile. “You've never asked permission for that before, Ji. Of course you can.”

He closes his container, stuffing it back into the take out bag excitedly. “Can I kiss you… in the rain?” You turn to him, taking in his wide and eager smile as he waits for your answer.

“You wanna do that tik tok thing?” You ask with a grin. Jisung can be sweet sometimes - all of the time - but he's never wanted to do something like this.

“Yeah, I wanna do the tik tok thing. Do you wanna?” You close your food container, putting it in the bag with his and brushing off your hands. You stare out into the rain for a second, taking in its beauty and considering his offer.

“I dunno.” You sigh, it would be super romantic.

“Last one out of the car drives home.” Jisung rushes his sentence as he turns to exit the car. He pushes his door open quickly, stepping out into a puddle and cursing through his gleeful giggles.

“Jisung!” You giggle, scrambling to get out of the car, you step over the puddle on your side and slam your door shut. The cold rain sends a shock to your system and you fumble with the zipper to your hoodie, pulling it up further as an extra layer of protection.

Your boyfriend is close to the edge of the small cliff that you're parked in front of, taking in the view as the pouring rain flattens his now curling hair. He's caught in the golden hour sunset, causing his eyes to shimmer like freshly tapped tree sap. The smile adorning his lips is sweet like maple and you find your heart bursting at the seams at the sight.

“Look at this.” You gaze with him. Taking in the moment like you're the main character in your favorite romance novel. That's how Jisung makes you feel anyway. Alive. Loved and untouchable.

He reaches for your hand, turning to you and pulling you closer to him. He's cold to the touch and you're both soaking wet but everything warms up once he smiles down at you. His cheeks growing red with a cherry blush. Has the sun created a shield around the two of you? Preserving the moment in an eternal glow for both of you to enjoy. You smile at the thought.

“Come here.” He wraps his arms around your waist and you snake yours around his neck. He leans in, brushing the tip of his nose against yours. “You're pretty.”

You smile up at him, a blush as red as his creeping up on your lips. “Kiss me.”

“Happily.” He raises a hand to cup your cheek as his lips brush against yours in a feather light kiss. You can't help but to smile against him as he kisses you again, harder than before. He sighs and his eyelashes flutter against your skin. He mimics your smile, trying his best to fight back a giggle as he deepens the kiss.

“You're making me laugh.” He whispers against your lips, causing you to smile wider. “Jagi, come onnn.” He whines at you, resting his forehead against yours.

“I'm sorry you're just so cute, baby.” He rolls his eyes playfully, running his thumb over your cheekbone.

“Well then let me be cute and have this moment with you without you making me smile like an idiot.” He leans back in, brushing his lips over yours and falling into a deep passionate kiss. It's your turn to sigh against him as you savor the feeling of him, soaking wet yet warm. Sweeter than the purest honey and making you happier than anything else you've ever prayed for. You relax into him, taking it all in when he smiles, breaking the kiss and squeezing his eyes shut with a faint chuckle.

“I was being serious and now you can't be!” He laughs harder at your exasperation. Resting his head on your shoulder as he tries to calm himself.

“I'm sorry I'm sorry I just couldn't help it.” He stands straight, looking down at you with sparkling eyes. “I just… love kissing you. I feel so happy every time I get to feel your lips on mine. You're like a dream.”

He brushes a strand of wet hair sticking to the side of your face behind your ear. He lets his touch linger for a second or two as he takes you in. The sun is creating a halo around you like it's presenting him with the celestial gift of you. Is he falling in love all over again?

“How did I get so lucky? There Isn't a day that goes by where I don't ask myself that question. You're everything that I could ask for and more. You're everything that I've ever wanted, all that I'll ever need.” Tears well up in your eyes and fall with the rain. They catch in the sunlight and become golden fractals before they can hit the ground.

“Ji…” You turn your head into his palm, snuggling into his touch and kissing his wrist. “You confessed already, ya know.”

He smiles, shaking his head and wrapping his arms around your middle. He picks you up, spinning you and pulling a surprised laugh from your chest. He laughs with you as you call out his name, a half hearted plea for him to put your feet back on the ground. When he does set you back down he kisses you quickly. wrapping his arms all the way around you and holding you flush to his chest.

“I'll keep confessing.” He rubs his hands up your back, smoothing the wet fabric against your body. The rain has slowed now or maybe he's made time stop around you. "Call it practice for my vows. I want to tell you that I love you in every way that I can think of. I find a new way to appreciate you every day.”

“I think that I'm the lucky one here.” You mumble as you search each other's eyes. “I love you, Jisung. So much, I love you endlessly. You make me so happy, I had no clue what it was like to feel this way until I met you and I never want to let it go.”

He looks away for a second, blinking up towards the sunlight in an attempt to keep his tears at bay. “Dance with me?”

“We're gonna catch a cold.” You laugh but Jisung shakes his head.

“We're already wet, why not dance before we go.” He can see that he's convinced you by the way that you look up at him, he can also tell that you never truly planned to object at all. “Pick a song.” He moves to hold you in a ballroom dancing position, squeezing your hand lightly once it's laced with his. “I'll sing it, any song.”

“Golden Hour.”

an: as promised, this is my little gift for you as a thank you for 1000 followers🫶🏽 i wish i couldve done more for you because its such a huge milestone, but this is all i could muster in my current state and with the amount of uni stuff. i love you and thank you once again for being here and reading my silly little fics<3

soft, feather-like touches woke you up late in the morning. you pouted, suppressing a yawn as you opened your puffy eyes only to see jisung’s face mere centimetres from yours. his fingers danced delicately on your cheeks, brushing your earlobes in the process.

“sungie, it tickles,” you mumbled, blinking slowly as he smiled shyly, whispering a quiet “’m sorry”. you hummed, closing your eyes and nuzzling your face in the crook of jisung’s neck. he wrapped his arms tightly around you, carding his fingers through your dishevelled hair.

sunday mornings were your favourite things in the world. time seemed to stop then, letting you and your boyfriend enjoy the peace and quiet that you missed dearly throughout the week. living in a constant rush exhausted you, draining the last of your energy, so when sunday came, you were finally able to recharge in jisung’s arms.

“are you hungry?” he asked softly after a while, placing a gentle kiss on the top of your head. you pressed your lips to his neck, letting out a small “mhm” and he giggled. “you’re so cute when you’re tired,” he added, running his fingers through your hair again. “i’m gonna order something, okay?” he said, unwrapping his arms from your body, trying to reach for his phone, but you whined, clinging to him like a koala.

“don’t leave me,” you mumbled sleepily, throwing your leg over jisung’s waist and keeping him in place as you snuggled into his side once more. he laughed at your dramatics.

“i’m not going anywhere, silly, i just wanted to take my phone. where would i go anyway?” he chimed, angling his body unnaturally to reach for his phone with you clinging to his body. he came back to his original place as he successfully grabbed the device and started placing the order.

“i dunno,” you yawned. ”i just had a dream last night that you left me without a word and never came back. it scared me honestly. i don’t want you to leave me,” you whispered the last few words, pouting and jisung cooed at you, locking his phone and throwing it on the pillow next to his head.

“jisung in your dream must’ve been really stupid if he left you. he’s a complete idiot,” he said, dramatically gasping and it made you laugh.

“yeah, he was an idiot. i’m glad it was just a dream.”

“why?”

“because i would never let you go, dumbass,” you scoffed, poking his cheek. he smiled at that, capturing your lips in a soft yet passionate kiss.

“you wouldn’t have to, because i’d never leave you anyway.”

Ji tends to forget things, easily getting overwhelmed by his tight schedule. So you started reminding him of important things, even if they don't include you. No matter if it's an interview he has to get to or an earlier dance practice than usual. After the first few times, he burst into tears and was late because he didn't feel like leaving you yet. When you can't be there in person, you remind him with little notes, small hearts drawn all over them. He keeps them all stored in his wallet and phone case, sometimes showing his friends because he can't shut up about you.

Jisung shamelessly dedicates love song after love song to you. It drives Chan mad sometimes when Ji comes running with another sappy song, dripping with feelings for you, and announces it as "the best idea yet. " One time, he was able to convince you to hum for a low melody in the background, and he was about to drop onto one knee and make you his right there. Changbin was kind enough to stop him and pulled him up on his way down. The boy's in love with you, what can you say?

Jisung's struggles due to his anxiety are no secret to you, and you know how hard he's working on it. He has memorized his breathing techniques and knows how to ask for help if things get too overwhelming by now. That doesn't mean there aren't any bad days and it's those he seeks you out silently. He crawls into your lap and doesn't leave until he feels better. At first, this has taken you by surprise and worried you deeply, but over time, you knew it was his way of getting help when he needs it.

Then there are times when things get too much and he panics. Sometimes you pick up on the signs way before he does and you always make sure to find a private space for it to happen. He lets you hold him, whisper soothing words to him and rub his back. He holds onto your sweater tightly, reminding himself to breathe as your comfort surrounds him like a fuzzy blanket. Ji hates himself for those times and looks at you with wide, wet and incredibly vulnerable eyes, always scared you'd have enough one day. You never fail to assure him you're proud of him and love him so much. You also thank him for trusting you with this.

You are his everything in every way possible. You're his reason to smile, his reason to get up in the morning and his main purpose is making you happy. He can't stop rambling on about you to his friends and oh, how they tease him for it sometimes. In the end he doesn't care because you're his pride. He loves you so deeply, you can't help but feeling protective of his tender heart.

You know you have to handle your sweet boy with care, especially on his rough days. Your often so quirky and sassy boyfriend can get hurt so quickly in the wrong moment you've learned it the hard way. He learned to trust you and open up to you if something seems like too much instead of shutting himself off. He's big on communication now, which you love so much about him.

Jisung always has time to listen to your worries and comfort you. You're his safe place so why would he be anything else in return? He loves being needed by you and showing you how much he loves you and cares about you. He always manages to make you laugh, reminding you that sometimes taking a step back is needed and totally fine.

He knows you love his cheeks. You love to squish them adoringly, cooing at him as you do. You love to feed him and lovingly tease him, poking his cheeks. He knows you mean well and as shy as he gets, he thinks it's so sweet of you to adore a part of him so so much. So of course he lets you squish them, make stupid noises and kiss them.

Ji is big on little acts of love. He can't remember his own schedule but he knows your favorite orders by heart. He surprises you with your favorite food, buys you a comfy sweater you've been eyeing for the past week and draw you a bath when you're tired. He reminds you every day that he loves you and that you mean the world to him before either of you leaves the house. Jisung loves holding your hand, even if it's just two fingers linked. He can't stop himself from surprising you with little bits because the smile covering your lips when he does is more than he could ever ask for.
