Hermitcraft headcannon!

Physical touch!

I headcannon all of Hermitcraft as being SUPER touchy. Like- it is super normalized and cozy.

Grian and Mumbo walking so close their arms brush, sitting so their knees and shoulders bump together, Grians wing practically hugging Mumbo's back.

Tango excitedly grabbing Zed and Impulse's hands to guide them through a build, ZIT having movie nights and cuddling under the blankets.

Etho linking elbows with Bdubs while walking, Bdubs practically hanging off of him while he explains the details of the build. Falling asleep on eachother's shoulders.

Keralis greeting Hermits with a kiss on the cheek or forehead, Wels greeting with a kiss on their knuckles.

Ren nudging his head into any open hands willing to pet him, Doc and Zed bumping heads (gently) with their friends to show affection.

Any horned Hermits headbutting eachother <3

Scar looping an arm around Cub's neck with a cheesy joke, dragging him down into a hug or noogie. Cub batting his hands away and trying to go in for an attack of his own.

Cleo biting Joe out of spite and affection, Joe smacking her with books. Them braiding flowers in eachother's hair, painting eachother's nails.

NHO creating cuddle piles and drowning in blankets, caring for eachother while sick (and totally not all getting sick)

Xisuma not really being able to touch- but still hugging and patting people on the back. Giving people tea and throwing a blanket over them in replacement.

If you headcannon them with a longer tail then they loop it around eachothers arms or legs to stay close.

Hugs are an appropriate greeting, and a thank you, and farewell.

HC BNHA AU: The Popularity Polls! 1. G-Force - Resolves a lot of minor incidents on his way to major incidents, and his high mobility allows him to work very fast.

2. Zero - Also resolves a lot of incidents, people also have a lot of trust in him as a hero. Seen as incredibly dependable, which gets him high up in the ranks.

3. Welsknight - The traditional arthurian knight-like hero is admired by a lot of people, and resolves his fair share of incidents.

4. X-Static - Not known for resolving many incidents, but is very helpful to the city as a whole and is also beloved by the public.

5. Crane - Another beloved hero, he's been a key to success in many operations, as well as upholding safety standards and preventing accidents before they happen.

6. Total - Another incredibly beloved hero, though he resolves a large number of incidents as well. His iconic staff spawned a lot of merchandise.

7. X - A very friendly hero that has a bit of mystery to him, which intrigues and endears the public to him. Very efficient as resolving incidents, but also known for being a little bit dorky in interviews and such.

8. Timeline - A bit of a heartthrob to middle-aged women, he's known for his powerful quirk as his ability to completely turn the tides of a fight that has helped him resolve some major incidents.

9. Credulity - Seen as one of the coolest heroes by teenage boys, Credulity has made quite the name for himself despite his relatively short tenure as a hero so far with his quirk, as well as his physical abilities.

10. Pocketwatch - A very loved hero who's seen as a bit of a goof. Some people question how he resolves as many incidents as he does, but he's yet to divulge many of his methods, citing the tactical advantage it gives him.

Then Grian got up to his usual tricks

The name of the game is kill or be killed

No swords no bows no PVP skills

First Rendog found his inner fish

But he couldn’t stick the landing and his bones went squish

Stress flew through the dares with talent and grace

But she didn’t catch the totem and she fell on her face

Then Ren came back with a sinister vice

Tricked X with a race and blew him up twice

Looks like steel beams can’t be melted by slime

‘Cause Jevin didn’t see Mumbo’s tower in time

Stress set a trap at the shopping district

And dropped Scar right into a pufferfish pit

Cub’s stunt got stuck and X felt robbed

So he got a skeleton to finish the job

This is the Hermitcraft showdown of Hermitcraft destiny

Players, mobs, and explosions as far as the eye can see

And only one will survive, I wonder who it will be

Tango and Impulse were shopping at the mall

But the store detonated and it killed them all

I headcannon that Ren has DID Wich caused some really awkward conversations with Martyn&Doc and Etho since neither him nor them knew Ren had DID until like middle of last life

I also think that "the canary curse" is evolving.Well,more specifically I think that it is mostly o ther ppl inflicted by it instead of Jimmy since in almost all of the series his allay/s didn't do very well after his death.Scott placed under the top 5(third life)Mumbo died almost immediately after Jimmy(last life)Tango generally had the worst luck(double life)Joel died very close to Jimmy(limited life)Martyn died like 10 mins after Jimmy(secret life)and in( real life)when Jimmy's group went to the cave he was the only one who didn't die at least once

Rating each hermit’s likelihood of being a furry

scar keeps getting furry allegations so i thought i’d make this post

Joe Hills - 7/10 he doesn’t really consider himself part of the community but he has a sparkledog sona and dresses up in his homemade diy fursuit sometimes. he respects furries deeply and does not tolerate hate towards them

Xisuma - 8/10 totally a furry he changes his skin all the time to dress up as the latest minecraft mob. he already has a “cringe” oc (evil x). he doesn’t even know what a furry is i think but he probably owns a fursuit anyway because he thinks its neat

Hypno - 3/10 he’d say no but give him cat ears to match with max and he’ll be wearing them every stream from now on

Keralis - 2/10 pretends to not know what a furry is but he does. he does.

Mumbo - 1/10 logically he would know of furries due to his young age and activeness online but i don’t believe he does, he has never heard of a furry and never will

Cleo - 6/10 with enough encouragement she’d wear a fursuit. maybe if joe made one for them. she’s got a vtuber avatar so this is just next in the pipeline i think

Jevin - 3/10 he isn’t one but he does have a non-human character which technically qualifies him as one. instead of a fursuit i think he’d have to coat himself in jelly or something

False - 3/10 she already dresses up as a banana on stream how far away is dressing up as an anthropomorphic animal you must ask yourself. plants and animals had their last common ancestor 1.6 billion years ago, keep this in mind

Tango - 7/10 his fursona is an evil ravager named “skadoodler evil the third” and mrs tango has a matching fursona and they do that furry couple thing of commissioning art of their ocs kissing

xB - 4/10 not one but I don’t think he’d be opposed to the idea of being a furry. i think ferks could be a furry

Impulse - 4/10 i was gonna say no but then i remembered the imp + skizz cat fursona thumbnail

Etho - 3/10 he isn’t a furry but he is a weeb. maybe he’d wear like a fox tail or something

Doc - 9/10 he has an oc which is half creeper half robot half goat and has butterfly wings and is an evil scientist. this guy knows cringe is dead and is living his life playing as his middle aged man Mary Sue fursona

Ren - 10/10 “ren the DOG” 🤨? this is confirmed his minecraft skin has fucking dog ears

Wels - 5/10 he is not a furry but i like to think he’s a LARPer irl and has a knightsona so he gets an honourable mention.

Iskall - 2/10 i could see him wearing cat ears, only as a joke though

Cub - 7/10 “cub”? “wolf pack”? furry cub just makes sense and he’d be an epic furry. the world isn’t ready for furry cub

Scar - 9/10 the other hermits call him a furry for a reason. his fursona is anthro jelly i guess. there are so many disney movies revolving around anthropomorphic animals this is natural

Beef - 3/10 he never truly becomes a furry but at night he daydreams about what his cool llama fursona would look like. he peaks a little at furry art but is never brave enough to venture further. in another lifetime maybe…

Bdubs - 8/10 he seems disproportionally offended at allegations he’s a furry and is incredibly obsessed with horses. furry with internalised furry hate i think

Stress - 2/10 i think she’d find the idea of furries cute and funny but wouldn’t be one

Zedaph - 9/10 you’d see him rocking up to furcon. his fursona would be a weirdass sheep worm hybrid

Grian - 4/10 i can see it. despite fan interpretation, i don’t think he’d be a parrot though i think he’d be a cat tbh

Gem - 7/10 she would have the cutest most cottagecore deer fursona of all time and it would have a beautiful design and outfit and bi flag. she’d get a vtuber model and a custom fursuit and art made. it is insane to me that this hasn’t happened yet

Pearl - 5/10 she isn’t but she does seem like the kind of woman who was obsessed with wolves at the age of 12 and has never outgrown that. also double life pearl deserves to be a beautiful silver wolf

Hermits who know how to cut hair correctly include Bdubs, Tango (too damn proud of his own hair smh), Xisuma (surprisingly - no one knows if he even has a head for hair to grow from), Zedaph, and Grian (sure, Mumbo looked terrible when he cut out all those moustaches, but the staches themselves were perfect).

Bdubs and Xisuma are the only ones who will often help any other hermit cut their hair, but Bdubs will charge for it.

Bdubs can also sew very well, alongside Keralis, Etho, and Hypno. Bdubs is the only one who actually will make and sell garments. Keralis knows how for home maintenance purposes, and Etho & Hypno know because they need a constant supply of masks and bandannas.

Whether someone goes offworld for getting haircuts and new clothing depends on the Hermit. Xisuma has never been seen getting a haircut or buying clothes. Mysteriously, neither has Grian - hell, his clothes don't seem to soil and his hair doesn't seem to grow unless he's in Ariana Griande form.

Jevin has to have his clothes made special with a hydrophobic coating so that they don't absorb his slime.

With their powers combined, they make a vaguely self-sufficient society. Xisuma is always there to offer his expertise because he knows a lot of his hermits are distrusting of strangers. The less they have to leave the safety of the server, the better.

The hermits know if you want a normal haircut, you go to X. You have to be fairly specific if he's not cut it before, or you want something slightly different (not for lack of trying - instructions are just hard for him.) But he'll do the best job he can.

If you want something completely different then it's Bdubs. He will show up with an array of tools - the hermits don't even think half are hair related - and a rainbow of dye colours.

The others will help out where they feel like it. Keralis will happily repair patches in curtains or sofas, or help put together a lampshade. Hypno and Bdubs usually work together to create clothes for Jevin to wear.

And if one of them offers payment 'in another way' again, Bdubs is dying their clothes pink! Give him his diamonds, jeez!
