god. there's something sickening about the fact that when jack asks harry about his life he just talks about his time at fazbenders because that's literally all he knows. the fact that, yeah, abel's plan did fucking work. it did make him a better worker. it did make him a better manager. he wasn't held back by his old memories. there's something so awful about the fact that even though he wasn't held back by the old memories, he was held back by the fact he COULDN'T be held back by his old memories. the worst part is, he can't even grieve losing his memories because he can't even remember the things he lost.
