for me personally the good ending is everyone leaving topmed, them releasing a nice good mini-album that is written/composed/arranged by Dongyeol and Wooseok (et al) and then they all go do their military service and then come back as a group. like that would be good for me

Harrow the Ninth, Thoughts part 3
Finished the book! Harrow wasn't even insane, everyone was just gaslighting her. Gideon the First WAS attacking her. Ianthe was lying all the time, because Harrow told her to do so. Augustine and Mercy were lying to keep their cover, Johnny G. was lying because he also didn't know anything, even Harrow was lying to herself.
I understand, why both Lyctors had to kill John. But the consequences of what they'll do is insane. Obliterate 9 planets. Kill, likely Billions of People, Again. Who's to say killing off all life in a planet post ressurection won't make another Ressurection Beast to wreck havoc in the Universe. In an awful way, Mercy and Augustine are recreating the sin that John did. With likely the same consequences.
I can't agree with killing the Emperor, yes he deserves to die, but the price of doing so would have been too steep. I'd lock him in a tomb, and have him empower Dominicus for eternity. Killing John, and Dominicus in turn leads the nine houses to be put under the control of Augustine or Mercy, and through that connection, the Blood of Eden.
We don't even know who tf the Blood of Eden is! For all we know they're Fanatics and Zealots. With a name like that I'd bet money on them hyper religious freaks and Zealots. Probably some Brotherhood of Steel, Adeptus Mechanicus style cult. Likely the type to uncritically worship Nostalgia and the Past.
I'd stick with John honestly. Maybe John Gohn could be better one day, and I HOPE he was telling the truth about his regrets. If he didn't, well fuck him then. Warhammer 40k had the right idea for God Emperors. Turn the bastard into a living battery. I think, a part of Jod was hoping the 8 in GtN, would crack the formula. Maybe that's why he was hoping they would take it slow, do it with years of study and preparation. So, I can't really hate Ianthe for what she did. Or maybe, I just fell for Jaius Gaius sad wet cat act.
Also, Harrow and Gideon definitely opened the stupid tomb. Gideon found Harrow in the Tomb. So Alecto was definitely released. Maybe, partially? But she's still out there, somewhere. Maybe the girl living with Camilla. Who knows
I am, so very very happy I got my prediction about the Sleeper right. Once I realized Gideon was alive and consciousness inside Harrow, there was only one suspect. Gideon's Mom. Where else was a friggin Haz Suit ever mentioned except the one her Mom was found in. Considering Palamedes mentioned that you bring your last memory with you when you died, of course her Mom remembered being in a Haz Suit

Y'shtola: When you defeated the Lightwarden, I fear the light which poured forth from it was not negated by Hydaelyn's blessing. Rather, it was absorbed into your being.
Y'shtola: Urianger also suspects as much, though he is unwilling to share his thoughts on the matter.
Y'shtola: One thing is certain: with every Warden you defeat, the danger to you grows greater. Greater perhaps than we can imagine. If you begin to feel anything strange─anything at all─pray inform me at once.
Y'shtola: You should hurry, before the others begin to worry. Once I have sorted my things here I will join you.

Much like "Lyse takes the credit" slander from Stormblood, there sometimes still pops up people justifying Y'shtola as bad or secretive, and the Scions as using the WoL even in ShB, due to "not telling WoL about the Light corruption."
Now, I tend to recall this scene as voiced--but it's not, and I think what I am remembering (along with maybe some other, later scenes where she checks in with WoL), and what many others are too, is Y'shtola's private conversation with Urianger prior to Ran'jit's arrival at Slitherbough, a conversation the WoL overhears. In that voiced scene, Y'shtola is trying to get answers from Urianger, who is stone silent on the matter. Then Plot Happens, and we end up racing ahead of Ran'jit to get to the Lightwarden.
It's immediately after slaying the Lightwarden in Qitana Ravel, on return to Slitherbough, this conversation happens. You turn in the previous quest to Runar, and then accept this quest from Y'shtola, who takes the WoL into her chamber to privately discuss exactly what she sees going on, and asks the WoL to let her know if anything weird happens that may be due to this absorbed Light aether.
And on return to the Crystarium, and quest turnin at the Pendants, WoL examines themselves and talks the corruption over with Ardbert, though he's at a loss as to how he might help.
Y'shtola didn't say anything right away--because she was trying to get answers first. But after watching WoL with the Lightwarden, she can't wait anymore, or delay due to Urianger's silence. We go to Rak'tika knowing Y'shtola was suspicious of the Exarch and his plots, and she knows Urianger is involved somehow--and when she must, she brings it to the WoL's attention out of concern. While she trusts Urianger at least, she's undoubtedly worried about WoL's welfare.
We don't get to see the Scions' conversations as they left Mt Gulg and however long it took for WoL to wake up after; we do know they were all desperately scouring the realm for ways to help WoL. I'd like to know the arguments and remonstrations and pleas for calm that happened in the wake of the mountain's events.

Can you guys rb this or comment with how you pronounce “Goncharov”? I didn’t really think anything of it until one of my friends said it out loud and I was like huh? I think it’s interesting how people can have different pronunciations of a word or name they’ve never heard out loud in their head an not question it. For reference, I’m a native Russian speaker and I’ve always read it like gohn-CHArohv and my US American friend said GAHNCHA-rahv.

You know what the most disappointing Clone High S2 episode is to me personally? The musical one.
I’m not comparing it to the first seasons Rock Opera one because there is no point because it is perfect Clone High Ep. I mean it was Jack Black for Peet’s sake.
However, I want to keep in mind, since the end of S1, we have had HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL! One of the easiest things to parody! It should be a parody of that very specific time in Disney TV where it’s all about stupid Disney teen dramas of that era. You have an audience that probably either watched that growing up OR at the very least knows about it through cultural osmosis. And it doesn’t even need to be just high school musical. It can also be one of the MILLION other teen Disney musical movies from the 2000’s. Cheetah girls, (Joan and the girls can be the “Ocelot Ladies” and dress like Ocelots) Camp Rock, (They can just be camping in the middle of the School Campus and also make it a slasher camp horror parody, with singing!) or at least have one of those awkward teen trauma dump scenes in all those movies where the clones could be laying in the grass in a circle and just try to out trauma each other. (It’s starts with Confu talking about how his parents don’t pay attention to him and ends with Cleo talking about seeing her Foster Father have his guts eaten out by a hippo at the zoo. No one really knows how to react to that one)
But even if they don’t go with that route… THERE ARE A MILLION DIFFERENT HIGHSCHOOL BASED MUSICALS THEY CAN PARODY! Heathers! Harriet and the girls accidentally kill Cleo, hijinks ensue! Dear Evan Hansen! They already love dumping on Abe so much, have him break his arm and whine about how his life is so unfair while having someone with real issues like Van Gohn not get noticed! Grease! OMG IMAGINE HOW FUNNY IT WOULD BE IF THE BOYS ALL DRESSED LIKE GREASERS AND SANG A KNOCK OFF OF GREASE LIGHTNING!
And the “Big Race” is just them racing down the halls on a tricked out version of one of these things:
Hell, they could even do the lazy parody of The Phantom of the Opera. Like Topher is mad that he doesn’t get to be the leader in the awareness month campaign and puts on a disguise so that he can sabotage it. And it’s so obviously is him doing it but no one ever figures it out and when he’s unmasked everyone screams because HE’S HIDEOUS!
Instead, what do we get? A very weak ep with 3 songs that aren’t even memorable. Nothing really making good jabs at the musical High School drama and what I found most disappointing is Harriet. If I’m reading her right, she’s suppose to be a bit of a Theater Kid? Have these people MET Theater Kids??? She should be a lot more pushy with her musical love! She should be a drama lover and want to know all the juicy details in everyone’s drama! She should be a huge romantic and try to ship her school mates and manufacturing romantic tropes between them! But as is, she is flat. Not Theater Kid enough.
They don’t even have a musical guest star! I get if they can’t get Lin-Manuel Miranda, but like SOMEONE THAT CAN SING AT LEAST! You know, go with the theme of the ep! But no, they couldn’t even do that!
That’s what I feel like is the worst part of the ep. There is SO MUCH they could have done with this genre and they did almost nothing! Everything they did do just didn’t push enough and felt flat. I WANT Clone High to have a good High School Musical ep. I LOVE Musical drama and it’s campiness! I want a ridiculous parody of it! I think the Clones would be great in one! But it just wasn’t enough and that is super disappointing.

i had a van gohn jewelry and music box as a gift and it was a gift at my fathers and when he moved he though it out like it was nothing and i was upset but i found the exact one and it was so expensive it was like 150 with tax and they had to then ship it to where i live and he just trash’s it GRRRRRR
anyways i ordered it and i did it so it has claire de lune and i love that song
