The thing that I love most about Jonathan and Nancy is that they’ve been through the real shit. Arguments and hardship through the supernatural and the struggles of discrimination and privilege.
I love how Max is usually the one who speaks after Will. It’s like she’s the only one brave enough to answer after he says something profound or important. I need more of Max and Will’s friendship and them having well-thought out arguments I swear

As much as Karen isn’t in the know of much of anything in the supernatural story, I love how she’s a picture of raw strength in the Wheeler family, the true head of the household. She takes charge. Stops at nothing to help. Not even in the face of temptation. Go Karen.

Shit, I’m tearing up at that scene when El collapses into Mike’s arms because I know that that was real exhaustion. Poor Millie 🩷🩷🩷. She did such a phenomenal job there.
I LOVE whenever Joyce is angry this season. Now that’s how you demand. Straight to the point, justified in her worry, and cutting past any unnecessary bs while still including the cherry on top “please” or “good day” of politeness out of basic decency. I want to be her when I’m upset.
I’m always so blown away by Maya’s performance when she comes out to Steve. Straight (haha) through the heart, so good. And I always, always smile at Steve’s reaction. So in character, so accepting. No questioning if she’s being honest, just immediately questioning her type and believing that she’s into girls. So, so important.
Oh, no. Holly saw the trees moving in the woods. Thus far, she’s noticed the demogorgon coming out of the wall, and now this. She’s definitely a target next season.
When El tells Billy the memory of his mom, I teared up a little! Something about the way that El says, “you were happy” breaks me, dude. Millie and Dacre did so well.
Also, thinking in foresight of s4, Max’s letter is so heartbreaking. The Mind Flayer made a huge show of killing Billy slowly and painfully. I don’t blame her for being too horrified to move. It really wasn’t her fault. That was traumatic. Sadie did amazing there, too. Ouch.
I’m never getting over the helicopter lights being blue, yellow, and red. Were starboard and port always blue and red? And isn’t starboard supposed to be green? It’s all intentional, I’m telling you
I love how Max and Lucas are supposed to be “butchering” Never Ending Story but those two theater kids actually sound amazing. I just wish they harmonized 😆

This has been my s3 thoughts for the 6-8th time watching? I forget? And I missed a number of moments because I got too absorbed so, oops. Anyway, I love Jancy, I love Jopper, I love the Scoops Troop, I love Suzie, I miss Alexi, Byler is endgame, and this season was way more fun than I remembered and it always makes me laugh. My list of favorite seasons has been shaken expertly.

So I was in the middle of nowhere all weekend so I had a list made on my notes app for a post and forgot about it.
RDR HORSES AS OTHER PETS
Bodecia- A mutt (probably part pit bull) dog who terrorized everyone and ate at least one of the entire gangs boots.
Old Boy- A Chesapeake Bay retriever who John cannot get out of the water.
The count- A cockatoo. Dutch acquired it from a very reputable breeder and treats that bird like a god. It also knows how to talk but only curses out the gang.
Silver dollar- An African Grey parrot. Hosea rescued his parrot from a bad situation and because of the situation, he can’t fly. However that means Hosea walks everywhere with that parrot on his shoulder. The bird sings show-tunes often.
Boaz- A rainbow boa. Javier is a reptile geek and has a really nice set up. He has had snakes all his life but nothing compares to Boaz. That snake is his first born child.
Taima- A German Shorthair pointer who was surrendered for being too energetic, and she still doesn’t trust a lot of people. However Charles takes her to the park every day for a hike, plays with her at every possible opportunity, and has been doing everything to get her to trust him. She’s absolutely a cuddle bug around him.
Maggie- A standard poodle who knows more tricks than any other dog in the gang. She is extremely well behaved, however she is spoiled by Lenny a lot. She will not eat if anyone feeds her but Lenny, but she will always beg for a treat from the others.
Brown Jack- The biggest, friendliest dog possible. He’s a mutt and no one knows what he is but he is LARGE. Bill carries him around like a baby though.
Ennis- A fuckass hamster that bites everyone. Sean loves that little guy though, even though his fingers are perpetually covered in bandages from hamster bites.
Old belle- an extremely judgmental Russian blue cat. She’ll always just stare at everyone and John has threatened to fight the cat.

Another knock on the door caused you to sigh as you got up from your bed to go answer it.
Walking down the stairs you could feel your heart pound with every step you took, knowing who is behind that door in the late hours of the night. You finally made it to the door, taking a deep breath and opening it to see your best friend. Mitsuya.
"Y/n…" You could see the dried up tears and how puffy his eyes were. Probably from all the crying he did before coming to your place.
"Just come in" You said as you stepped aside for him to enter your home. He quietly did as you said and walked in. You closed the door and walked to the living room where he was.
"So what happened this time?" He let out a sigh and sat down on the couch.
"She said I wasn't giving her much attention. I already told her how packed my schedule is because of the next fashion show for next month. But then she started saying how I'm lying and that I just don't want to spend time with her." You sat quietly on the opposite end of the couch as you listened.
"She also said that I don't love her anymore and that I'm losing feelings, which I'm not because I truly love her!" Your heart aches hearing those words but you tried not to show it.
"Last night she went out and emma sent me a picture of her going to a hotel with some guy. I confronted her about it today which caused an argument about me not having any trust in her. And I trust her! But then she said that she was going to break up with me because I'm always busy.." Your heart broke seeing him all stressed and scared of losing the one girl he loves. It wasn't anything new for Mitsuya to run to you every week after a fight with his girlfriend. You started growing used to it as time went by, but it made you even more sad and annoyed seeing him still be with her after everything that she has put him through.
You noticed earlier on that the relationship those two have wasn't healthy. More like toxic. She loves to control, lie and use him for almost everything. Even after he caught her cheating one time he still forgave her and stayed by her side. Which caught you off guard since you didn't expect that from him.
But what could you do? He has been in love with her since high school and was thrilled when she accepted his confession on graduation day. Which caused you to cry that night.
"Mitsuya…this isn't normal you know, she has put you through a lot and caused you so much stress! She cheated on you multiple times so why?! Why are you still hurting yourself like this?”
The boy stayed silent. His hands were shaking and he closed his eyes as he looked away.
“Y/n…she’s my girlfriend. The love of my life and I think people deserve second-“
“Bullshit. She already cheated on you gods know how much and lied to you on multiple occasions! Hell she even put her hands on you mitsuya! That’s not love takashi…”
“But…I know…I know she’s going to change. She’ll stop”
No she won’t
“Takashi…”
“I-“ He was cut off by the sound of his phone going off. Text after text and soon a call made Mitsuya stand up as he grabbed his phone.
“It’s her” He says. As he was about to accept the call, you gently took a hold of his hand.
“Mitsuya…” You pleaded.
“This isn’t Healthy and you know it. You can’t continue staying with her. So please…don’t” The phone continued ringing as his phone blew up with texts. His eyes went from the phone to you and then to his phone before finally going back to you.
“M’sorry…”
Your heart shattered as he picked up the phone and made his way towards the door.

This is technically a Diana's age poll but I framed it partially around Julia's rescue because that's the event I need to contextualize and whether or not Diana is a thing yet is p important for my purposes. I have to put fresh sheets on my bed and make it but I've just been sitting on my bare mattress for the last 20 mins ranting to myself about this damn show
#again rewatching this with a developed adult brain is CRAZY#and I'm catching so many things I didn't notice before#and it's making everything feel even more !!! than the first time I watched the show#like!!!!like!!! somehow I never caught onto how such a strong part of flint's grief comes from the fact that he didn't try and rescue Thomas#and how his actions led to all of this happening in the first place#he could have sided against Thomas with his father. and they never would've had any of the mess that came with angering Dad#but that just wasn't possible to him anymore#because of what he felt for Thomas he had to defend his ideals. the ones they shared#and after all that. thinking about killing eve again and why couldn’t s3 have focused on eve and villanelle’s rage and reconciliation, with the near-death experiences we see in s4 forcing them to realise they can’t live without each other? all while developing the twelve in the background with carolyn and konstantin’s arcs? which would’ve all culminated in the dance scene and then the bridge. then spend s4 in the campervan (forced proximity forcing eve and villanelle to tie up any loose ends in their relationship, which was always the main focus) as they take down assassins together as a team, until they finally find hélène? if they needed the eve/hélène drama they could’ve moved that subplot to s3, while eve was investigating kenny’s death
all I’m saying is I read interviews with laura neal again last night and apparently they had the idea that they needed to keep eve and villanelle’s scenes “electric” so they couldn’t be together often and I just don’t understand that tbh? their breakup drama could’ve been explored that way during s3, sure, but by s4 it no longer made sense considering that arc was resolved during the bridge scene. by s4, the end of their respective character arcs, they should’ve come together so the build up to the kiss was well developed and made sense. just because they’re in the same room doesn’t mean you can’t have tension and conflict. the conversation about bill could’ve been more than just a few lines of dialogue, for example. there’s just so much fundamentally wrong with how that show was structured, it’s like the narrative has broken bones. I could go on about it forever

— By all accounts, we know that Guizhong's actual name is Haagentus, this is likely the same to 'Morax' and 'Osial'. Guizhong, keeping in mind that this is what the adepti seem to refer to her as and they also refer to Morax as Rex Lapis (which is the title given to him by the mortals?); I'm tempted to believe that it was given to her by the mortals as well. Granted, this is heartbreaking to think about as Guizhong in Chinese is 归终, of which 归 translates to 'to return' and 终 'to end'. Yep, we all return to dust in the end— yeah, I hate HoYo too. 😭
— She's a bit of a pain in the neck. I say this affectionately, but you need two hands to deal with her. Based on Echoes of the Heart and the quest A Single Harmony for an Irreplaceable Soul, we learn that she's rather competitive, she has no qualms about standing her ground, she tends to push boundaries a little socially even if apparently endearingly enough so (CR: "(...) no matter what nonsense she said, one never felt bothered or offended."), she is very determined (her little tongue as she's working on the Cleansing Bell thrills me so very much) and opinionated/stubborn. Granted, all of this seems to come paired with a certain eloquence and kind air as she was referenced as having been well loved by mortals and adepti alike, as all still speak very sorrowfully even 3700(ish) years after her passing.
— She's very hands-on, she touches everything— she simply experiences life through touch, if you will. As an engineer, she touches to find out how things feel, how they operate. This is, in my opinion, further substantiated by her attire. She's the least clothed of all of the gods and adepti, she's also the only one who's actively shown to always be barefoot. So while I can see this as an entirely standalone aesthetic decision, HoYo is so thorough, so I think there's more to it. So along with being an engineer and what that can imply, I think that the intention of how exposed she is and the specific places where this is a fact (her back, her legs), plays into stimulants. The wind, water, the sun, warmth, the cold, everything is experienced through one's skin, the best way to experience 'mortal life', is to experience the little things that make life... life. This is something you'll see me play a lot into in threads.

'proud' isn't quite right but i'll use it for now. ]#[ when the obscuro vulpes 'wins'-- she's so excited. she's thrilled. she loves to win. ]#[ but it's endearing. like cloud retainer literally says it too. ]#[ on at least two occasions. ]#[ when she stands opposite of ping? hands on her hips. she's challenging her. she's stubborn. ]#[ i /love/ those additions. they make her oddly human for a god. and i love that considering how they ingrained her into liyue. ]#[ and what she represents (the arc of multiple of them going to live among the mortals as she once did. ]#[ but any way. yes. hello. ]#[ also i have so much more to say about her name; but it's saddening because if you think about the fact that 'guili' likely comes from...#[ partly her name and then morax'. so because then it's like... she had her civilization before the guili assembly. ]#[ and was said to have been adored by her people; if they learned she was the god of 'dust'-- her name makes perfect sense. ]#[ but then god; the name of the plains becomes increasingly depressing. ]#[ like we know canonically she herself refers to them as the plains of returning and departing but man. talk about mortality. ]#[ talk about the stupid pain that's linked to a god bearing a name that is inherently linked to... death.
