Are there any Kallus fans out there? Because It's my favourite ISB agent time!
I was thinking today about Kallus. Just... You know he went off with Zeb to others Lasats. To their secret home Lira San. And he felt unease about it. He knew that Zeb told them what Alexandr did for Rebels, so they accepted his presence. But he couldn't bring himself to actually interact with them. He was the one who killed their friends, families. He very well remembered siege of Lasan. So he didn't eat with them, or talked to them a lot, or looked them in the eyes. He just couldn't.
But Zeb was always with him, he ate with him, lay with him, they talked, they trained. Lasats began to look at them as a pair and actually someone asked once if Kallus is even compatible with Zeb or breedable. It is a story for different occasion but it was very very very embarrassing day for Alexandr. But then he realized that he doesn't really mind it. Being a pair with Zeb in any way and that if he actually could spend rest of his life with him he would be more than happy.
One day he sat with them by the fire. It was some kind of holiday. He was looking at his bowl, and he felt as Zeb sat next to him. He looked on one of them, and she smiled and said something not in Basic. He looked at Zeb.
"She said that she is glad that you finally joined us." Zeb smiled.
And Kallus should felt relief at that moment. But he felt only remorse and pain. The bowl fell on the ground, and he just stood up and got back to their house. He just wanted to hide. Zeb sighed worried.
" One day he will be ready. Don't worry. You have to be patient. Empire do not teach people how to accept kindness, but he will learn."
Zeb nodded. He found Kallus on his bed just staring at the celling.
" Did somebody ever told you that you are your worst enemy, Alex?"
" i figured it out. " He looked at him "After you and your friends stopped occupying this position i gladly took over i guess. And i am just as determined as i was back then . "
Zeb sighed and lay next to him.
"i destroyed their people. Your people. I... Don't understand how you can even..."
"One day you just have to stop fighting Alex. "
" That would make me a loser."
Zeb hugged him and Alexandr hid his face in the fur.
"No. That would bring you peace."
" I am not sure if i deserve peace" he said silently. Zeb held him closer to himself.
"You'll be fine." He said maybe more to himself than to Kallus " You will. You deserve. You just need time. And i will give you time. As much as you need. "
And Kallus couldn't even bring himself to say thank you. He just clung to him and stayed silent.

the way that, if you took away her armor and the two or three lines referencing it, you would literally never know that sabine was a mandalorian in the ahsoka show. filoni completely stripped her of her culture (and personality) and never gave her a meaningful scene talking about the destruction of mandalore or her family. all in favor of giving her a bad and poorly executed padawan storyline, because apparently a character can’t be interesting unless they’re a jedi

I’ve almost no understanding of linguistics. But this post and also @thefoundationproject ‘s fics, which include bits about how the Journeyman Protector dialect might be related to Standard Mando’a, have me trying to hypothesize Mandalorian language trees. based on what we know about Mandalorian history.
I KNOW some of you are language nerds and I also did this in fifteen minutes please yell at me about your own headcanons and also about everything I got wrong/missed/forgot. It would be cool to turn it into a real graph to reference eventually (:

the kanera subplot of rebels season 4 makes a lot more sense when you realize you're watching two people in their late twenties with little-to-no sex ed staring down a pregnancy scare in the middle of a war.

Like anyone who's only watched the live action stuff is going to have no idea what the fuck is happening or who these characters are.
