I was intrigued by Kalluzeb prior to the ice moon episode. I love enemies to lovers and redemption arcs, and I thought their personalities meshed well.
But you know what ultimately sold me?
Kallus kept the glowing rock.
He returned from the ice moon, and he could've ditched the glowy rock at any time. Hell, it would've made sense, his room is bare and I imagine the Empire doesn't encourage personal effects.
But he kept the glowing rock.
The rock that Zeb gave him, that kept him warm. The rock that now had all those memories attached, of the time on an ice moon when a sworn enemy didn't kill him, and instead saved and protected him.
The glowing rock he put on a spot where it's the last thing he sees when he goes to sleep and first when he wakes up.
Yeah, you can safely assume I'd eat that shit right up, Kal is officially wooed and gay, your honour, I ship the fuck out of this stiff yet weirdly endearing ex-imp and the grumpy purple cat bat man
