ATTENTION PLZ READ: Serious Post & Call To Action

I almost never get serious on here, but this is an emergency that effects ALL of us. This is gonna b a long post, but there's a lot of info so plz bear with me.

If you're not on tiktok, you probably haven't heard abt this cuz I've heard and seen NO ONE outside of tiktok talking about this and that's scary.

We have a major mass internet censorship bill that Facists- I mean "Conservatives" are trying to get through congress that was co-signed by Dove (yes, the soap company) & LIZZO of all people back in April of this year.

This bill is called the "Kids Online Safety Act" or KOSA for short.

Under the guise of "protecting children" it is the worst mass internet censorship bill to date and if it passes, it will give state senators and the government the power to censor and destroy anything they don't like off the face of the internet. And by that I mean in a recent video interview of Senator Marsha Blackburn (one of the senators that introduced the bill) said the quiet part out loud and detailed EXACTLY what we knew they were gonna do.

If they pass it, they're going to use it to wipe any LGBTQIA+ content & info off the face of the internet, but ESPECIALLY anything to do with Transgender people and being Trans. And they intend on targeting Transgender children especially.

Due to the purposefully vague wording of the bill giving the gov. the power to destroy anything they deem "a danger to kids" you know that's what they're gonna use it for instead of censoring anything that's an actual danger to kids. They said it themselves.

But it gets SO MUCH WORSE than that. This bill would also give th4em the power to control EVERYTHING you do and EVERYWHERE yo go on the internet and no. A VPN won't help you.

This goes way beyond just lgbtqia info and fandom content/culture being in danger. This also means our right to free speech, access to accurate and factual information, and ability to communicate & organize with each other is also up on the chopping block. They're trying to make it harder for us to fight back against what they're doing.

And even if you don't live in the US, this will also effect you too. Access to any US based content creators and US based media as well as your ability to communicate with your US friends & Family as well as access to info on what's happening in the US will also be in danger as well.

If you're on tiktok and want more info, I reccomend looking up omarsbigsister who has an entire playlist on the bill as well as info and petition links in her bio and a call script to read off for contacting your senators. but I will also be providing those same links at the end of this post.

So what can we do to stop it?

Sign petitions

COntact your senators and reps. Call them, email them, send physical letters,

but most importantly,

SPREAD THE WORD.

share and repost this because the fact that no one oustide of tiktok is talking about this even though it will effect ALL OF US and could spell the end of the internet as we know it is SCARY

(Lil snippet from this tangled au i made recently :])

"How...how long have you been in that tower?" Fwhip asks, looking over at Jimmy. The fish boy sits next to him in the grass, tail curled comfortably around himself. Until the young prince spoke his eyes had been transfixed on the pond nearby, but now they moved to meet his; and the prince felt his face redden just the slightest bit.

"Oh, I don't know." Jimmy shrugs, as if the topic wasn't as serious as it truly was. "My whole life probably."

Fwhip feels some of the color drain from his face as he looks at Jimmy in utter disbelief, and probably horror as well. He can't imagine being trapped somewhere for that long, terrified to leave because you've been told you'll be killed if you do. He can't imagine being stuck somewhere only because of lies a family memeber feeds you. He can't imagine being stuck with only four walls and a window, forced to wonder what it's really like oustide. Thats no way to live. It's not right, in fact it's down right horrifying.

It's abusive to do that to someone, that's what it is. Plain and simple abuse, and Fwhip is going to have so many words with Lizzie when he next sees her. And none of them are good words, either

Jimmy seems to notice the look on his new friends face, and shrugs again. "It's fine though really!" He smiles, eyes momentarily flicking towards the nearby pond once more. "You get used to it..."

Though the cod's voice is cheery, there is that distinct note of sadness, of longing, underneath it all. And Fwhip isn't going to let Jimmy be sad anymore. He's not going to let him think what happened to him was okay, because it wasn't. It really, really wasn't.

He puts a hand over Jimmy’s and squeezes it as hard as he dares. The blonde's gaze flicks down to their now intertwined fingers, but Fwhip’s stays fixed on his face.

"You're never going back to that tower, okay?" He says, voice firm yet as kind and gentle as he can mange. Not as long as I'm here.

Jimmy’s gaze flicks back up to him, and his breath stutters for a moment. "...Okay. Okay, I won't go back." He mutters, and there seems to be not a hint of regret lingering on those words.

Fwhip smiles back at him, one that is undeniably fond. "Good."

Jimmy returns the smile a moment later, and the prince knows in his soul that he would do anything for this boy. This poor, sheltered boy who he wants to show entire the world and then some.

No way carol finally putting lore of these idiots on tumblr, lmao sometimes i forget i talked about them mainly just on instagram.

As i mentioned in a previous post, these girls are two separate entities that got bound together by the powers of the duo gem. Which is essentially a synthetic parasite created by the Chess kingdom during the grand war, the goal was to create an actifact that could fuse two warrioes together, leading to the creation of a new, stronger soldier. But because of the war and the struggles that come with it this level was never achived in the creation of these gemstones, majority of them was destroyed by attacks from the Canopy kingdom and the remaining few were hidden by its creators.

Naturally, there are curious people who would pay a fortune to get their hands on these relics, and that's exactly what Mariana was hired to do; find the duo gemstone and bring it to the buyers.

The thing is, she didn't know about the expreimental, and rather unstable, nature of the gemstone. She just new that it was this big shiny thing she was sent after, so Mari went about it as usual and before she knew it she had been sucked inside the actifact and was now locked in this small red room with sparkling walls.

On the oustide world, the gem attached itself to the back of her jacket and stayed like that for almost a whole year until this jacket was purchased by Dagger after ending up in some street market.

Dagger who at this point in time was fresh out of the Silent stalkers, the criminal organization responsible for training ninja assasins for hire that she had been taken into after becoming an orphan during the Grand war. So she wasn't doing much with her life and was sorta just sulking around without purpose or much will to do anything.

So she brought the jacket and it was when she put it on that the gemstone ripped through it and attached itself to her back (Dagger's spine to be more specific), it was only then that Mariana was able to come out of it, in that trage shadowy form, permanently attached to the other girl's back.

So yeah, not the best conditions.

They're not on good terms at all at the start, with Dagger constantly complaining and being bothered about the situation which angers Mariana a whole lot and they end up arguing most of the time + she's generally very angry/distressed over losing her body and being stuck to Dagger, who at that point she saw as nothing but a good for nothing lazy bitch.

It's after a little while that she finds out about Dagger's past of being a trained assasin and all (Dagger herself told her, she shares information very easily without much thought) and that's when Mariana has an idea of how to get herself out of this mess; She'll manipulate Dagger into going after the skullheart so that she can snatch it and wish to have her body back.

So Mariana gathers her old gear and insists that she does have talent when it comes to fighting and shouldn't give up on it, she fixes Dagger's old uniform, gets her back into training by sparring in their apartment, and then tells her that if they were able to fight and defeat the skullgirls they could bring the skullheart back to the Silent stalker's base which would show them just how strong Dagger is, after all, killing a skullgirl is no easy feat.

Dagger finds the idea awesome and gets totally on board with hunting down the skullgirl. Being unaware of Mariana's ulterior motives, she wholeheartedly trust her and pretty much adores her, she sees her as the first person in years who actually put faith in her and a real friend! It's this love from Dagger's part that leads to them developing a real friendship, with Mariana genuinely carring for someone other than her for once.

Will she be able to go through with her plans involving the skullheart?

The great Hound Miller, Lieutenant Commander in the navy, the first woman in history to be indoctrinated into top gun. The first woman to graduate and successfully be the top of her class.

Hound Miller was strong, scary, cold-hearted on the oustide. The woman never broke a sweat during missions, always face death with a straight face, yet on the inside was as broken as anyone could be.

In the inside she was a woman who faced the abuse her boyfriend put her through. The bruises that covered her back as Josh spent morning, even and night punishing her for the mistakes she made.

She had developed a cold exterior as a consequence of the pain and suffering she had endured.

Who’s knows maybe she’ll get the guts to leave him. Maybe she’ll realize her worth and leave him.

But she can’t, because under all that aviation shit all she is a weak little bitch, not directly her words but Josh’s. A weak little bitch, who wouldn’t leave because she has nothing, not inch of space to claim as hers. She sure as hell no one to take her in, no one wants her, no one going to put up with her like Josh does.

But he’s right.

What strong woman can deal with almost dying everyday, but not be strong enough to leave.

She finally got guts to leave him. What a mistake.

Hound never thought he lose it in public, where other people could see his facade crack and break.

To see were he isn’t the perfect boyfriend.

“Are you fucking dumb Y/n, did you really think you could leave me?”, venom laces his voice as he shouts at her, his facade slowly dropping.

His backhand flys across her face, she whimpers as she’s feels the stinging.

She knows better, Hound knows what to say, when to say and how to say it but she’s fucking exhausted. Has been for awhile, she’s knows love isn’t supposed to be like this, it’s not like that in poems, rom-cons, and novel.

She doesn’t care anymore, Hound is done being his broken toy, she doesn’t care if he beats her to death atleast she’s in peace.

She flinches harder than before, even though she knows whats going to happen. Hound thought she could take it, like she does all other times but this time the hit knocks her back a couple inches.

She stands there cowering under his angered gaze as the left side of her face burns. Her cold hands grab at her stinging cheek, soothing the burn.

“You think you can leave me Y/n!, who’s going take care of you?”

“Hm, what man is going to deem you worthy of his time?”

She whimpers, as he shakes her like a rattle toy.

“Stop, I’m sorry Josh” she begs him, his eyes turn dark, his hand runs up her neck, gripping it tightly.

Hound feels stupid, Why did I think I could get away?

Her throat starts to hurt, as his grip gets tighter.

He’s getting angrier.

Tears drench Hound’s eyelashes, as they fall down her cheek—damping her face as they drop.

“Please” she trys begging again, normally if she submits to him in defeat, and in weakness he stops.

Sadistic piece of shit.

She can’t see anything, the tears blurring her vision. She can’t see if this is the end of life, if this is the end of her suffering.

Josh chuckles darkly and it sends fear down Hound’s chest, she listen to his heavy breathing.

She done for, there no way she’s getting out of this relationship alive.

“I give you my home, my car, my love and you think you can leave me!” he shouts loudly into her ear.

She chokes on a sob.

“I-I’m sorry, please no”

“I’ll do whatever you want”

He starts laughing in her face. literally, “I always knew you were whore”

I’m just whore, dirty piece of meat that belongs to you.

“Answer me slut” he re-grabs her throat pressing harder than earlier.

Hound was supposed to be stronger than this. Why can’t she break out his grasp. Why didn’t she leave when he first got violent the first time.

Her airway is starting to close and she feels the neee to cough, but can’t.

She starts to choke, body starts convulsing from the lack of air.

“Look at me Y/n and allow me to remind you of who puts up with your shit”

A broken whine leaves her mouth.

I guess this is goodbye.

I guess this is me getting peace. It feels nice.

She starts to feels the darkness succumbing her, the sounds of blood rushing in her ears.

“Let go of her—”, a familiar voice she knows by heart. A man Hound hates humanly possible yet is happy he’s here. His voice just as cold as his personality

Somehow Hound felt so humiliated. But shouldn’t she feel relieved?

She’d already knew who it was by his ice tipped hair, his stone cold face. She recognized his cologne from anywhere.

Iceman Kazansky

Funny enough Hound is known for her elephant memory, yet she can’t remember what happened and how she ended up in Kazansky’s house.

Ice never thought he’d ever see his enemy look so fragile and nervous in his life.

Bruises covered her arms, her legs and back. A mean purple bruise was forming around her neck.

He choked her, like actually tried strangling her to death.

He and Hound weren’t exactly friends, they also weren’t enemies either.

She and him don’t see eye to eye majority of the times, Hound flys like her life isn’t worth shit, and Ice flys to confident.

He may dislike her, but Ice sure as hell wasn’t leaving her die like his dad did with his mother Anya.

He was pulled out of his thoughts as concern entered his mind about her. She had been gone a long time.

He gently knocked on the door,“Hound you okay there?”

She could feel herself letting go, the water started to fill her ears.

Life left her body.

“Hound, you all right?”

She could feel herself letting go, the water starting to fill her ears.

There wasn’t any movement going on in the bathroom, there wasn’t noise either.

“Hound Miller?”

Hound started to slip underwater, the water was slowly claiming her lungs, her life.

Hound wasn’t worth anything. She doesn’t deserve the help Iceman giving her.

She could hear muffled sounds coming from the otherside of the door.

Bang.

The door was ripped open.

“Hound!”, Ice hurriedly grabbed her body out his tub.

“Come here”, he beckoned with arms, his eyes closed out of respect. Hound slowly wrapped herself in the towel.

She was shivering in pain, her entire body was numb.

“You can open them Tom” Hound whispered to him. She was ashamed of herself, first Kazansky open his house up to her after saving her from Josh. Now she’s returning the favor by being suicidal.

Maybe Josh was right, she truly is worthless.

No man will ever love her. She’s broken, unfixiable.

Iceman slowly ran his eyes over her, inspecting the bruises that were casted all over her body.

A jagged knife scar. dragged down her lower back.

A knuckle ring imprint bruised her thighs, burns mark from cigarettes.

Stitches on her shoulder.

God he hated himself with everything, he could’ve given her the help his mother was denied.

He felt horrible, it explains everything about her.

The dark emotionless eyes, the angry tones, how she flew in the air. This woman had been going through hell for god knows how long.

Hound had been suffering and he had only added to it.

She clinged to him,like her life depended on it.

“I-Im sorry” Hound sobbed loudly into Ice’s shoulder.

“Shh, your okay— if not I’ll help you get there”, Ice promised her and he’s never the man to break his word.

“You’ll be okay”

“Oh, your shirt is soaking wet” she lifted her face from his shoulder.

Of course she’s more worried about his shirt, worried about his reaction.

“It’s fine Hound I got loads of Navy shirts, price of being the Navy’s favorite”, he joked with her.

A small smile appeared on her face, she quietly laughed.

“Funny—very funny Kazansky, me and you both know I’m the better pilot” she chuckled softly.

She plucked him gently , in return Hound earned a soft kiss on the side of her forehead.

Ice gave her his hand, and she took it willingly.

Lieutenant Commander Y/n “Hound” Miller has never has never felt safe before, but the way Kazansky held her felt safe and protective.

He made her feel safe— a man who was once her enemy is now her safe place.

Tom“Iceman” Kazansky isn’t cold, he’s warm.

The one with the royals

Sihtric x Reader

The ceremony was short, but that didn't stop for it to be beautiful. The king had excused himself after the dinner toast after and had left to rest, Y/N assumed. She knew he was dying. Everyone knew.

She was having a drink with Aethelflaed and Thyra when Father Beocca approached her and asked her to have a word in private, to which she accepted. He guided her through the halls of the castle in silence until they reach a door and entered a room filled with books and maps and letters

"Thank you, Father Beocca" Alfred said and Y/N turned to look at the king "If you would be so kind to give us some privacy"

"Lord" Beocca said as he walked out the room "I'll wait for you oustide, Lady" He continued before he closed the door

"Lord king..." She said greeting him with a very confused tone

"I wanted to have a word with you, lady Y/N" He explained "Nothing to be afraid of" He smiled at her and pointed to a chair so they could both sit "I've been thinking about our first encounter, the day we met" He continued his explanation and Y/N nodded slowly not knowing where this was going "I'm sure you know by now I do not have many days left, this disease almost consuming me whole"

"Lord" She interrupted him "Are you asking me for my secrets as your dying wish?" She smiled at him with a knowing look, trying to keep the mood as light as she could

To her surprise, he smiled back at her "I am, Lady" He said as he grabbed her hand "Everything is already set for Edward to take over. I trust his decisions to make our dream of England come true. I only wish to know... What is it like?"

"England?" He nodded and she gathered her thougths before she spoke "I'm not fluent in the history, to be honest, since my home is elsewhere" She explained to him before she continued "It will be one of the greatest kingdoms, that's for sure. But, uhm... there will be some conflicts, trying to take over places the english do not belong, some will succeed, others not so much"

"As it is to be expected" He nodded

"Be sure your people will thrive, your family will thrive. And the world will get only bigger and bigger, and England will prevail" She said with a smile, she wasn't lying but what else could she tell to a dying man.

"That is great news" He said tears filling his eyes "Thank you, Lady Y/N" She nodded at him and they sat in a comfortable silence for a few minutes, both lost in their own thoughts "I am afraid this may be the last time we see each other, Lady" Alfred suddenly said and Y/N eyes widened at the realization of what he was saying "You have been a great friend to my daughter and you have my sincere gratefulness. You will always have the protection of my family if you need it"

"Thank you, Lord" She said as she felt her own eyes getting filled by the tears

"You have proven yourself to be a very brave and kind woman" Alfred took her by surprise with his words "Aethelfaed has explain to me you have your own journey. A decision to make. My only wish for you is to trust yourself as much as those who love you do. And then, you will also thrive" Y/N could barely hold the tears in her eyes when Alfred stood up and walked her to the door

"You know?" She said before they could say their goodbyes "You are the first the king I ever met in my enterly life" She told him with a smile "I really wish to have known you better, have some more time to share as friends" She was bold to call him a friend, he knew it, but his smile told her he felt the same way. She hugged him, unexpectedly, as she had once hugged Aethelflaed in public. And it took him a second also, but he hugged her back. He used the little strenght he had left to hold her tight

"Farewell, Lady Y/N" He said once they broke apart

"Farewell, Alfred the Great" She smiled at him and with that she was out of the room. She wanted nothing but cry. What the hell had just happened? Did she really bonded with the king? The dying king. But Beocca found her faster than she thought and walked her back to the party were she found Thyra once again "I need a drink" She said and Thyra laughed handing her a cup of ale

Both women talked for a few minutes. Thyra was a really sweet person and Y/N was glad to finally meet a part of Uhtred's family. She told her stories about how he had been adopted and their times as children. Y/N never asked about the fire, Osferth had told her that part of the story already and she didn't want to upset Thyra. So she gathered all the information she could to then annoy Uhtred

"Thyra" A voice said from behind her said and Y/N turned to find Aethelwold walking towards them "So nice to see you, again" He then turned to look at Y/N and continued "I do not think we have properly met, Lady. Lord Aethelwold"

Y/N did notice how he had not called Thyra a Lady and that was the first of the many things he would do that upset her "Y/N" She said in the most polite way she could

"Lady, Y/N" He repeated and she saw how Beocca was fast to approach the woman once he saw Aethelwold "I see you are traveling with the Irishman and the heathen" Oh, how wonderful would be if Y/N could just punch him in the face "Hopefully you are not planning to stay with them for long"

"Lord Aethelwold" Beocca said and Y/N thanked him in silence "I believe you are wanted elsewhere"

"And where would that be, Father?"

"Anywhere but here" Beocca said with much confidence and Y/N tried to hide the smile on her face

"Maybe I could find you later, Lady" Aethelwold say ignoring the look on Beocca's face "I would love to hear how you happened to find yourself amongst Uhtred's men"

"Maybe" Y/N said shrugging, not caring at all for what he wished for and he then walked away. After her conversation with Alfred she was not in the mood to tolerate stupid people. Her eyes wondered over the room and landed on Edward and his bride, Aelflaed. She excused herself from her friends and walked towards the table the newly weds sat

"Lady Y/N" Edward greeted her and she smiled at him "I hope you had been able to find the ceremony to your like"

"The ceremony was beautiful, Lord" She said nodding at him "But not as beautiful as the bride" She really did mean it, and also she knew this people loved when you said stuff like that. It was a win-win. Aelflaed thanked her and Y/N saw a fainted blush on the girl's cheek "I just wanted to thank you both for the invitation. And to congratulate you, I really wish nothing but happines for the both of you"

"Thank you, Lady Y/N" Both said at the same time and they smiled warmly at her

"How warm words, Lady Y/N" Lady Aelswith said from her spot next to the table. Y/N had not see her, but she now saw her genuine smile on the queen's factions. Both women notice Aethelwold's looks "Come, walk with me" She said to Y/N and they both made their ways away from the man

"It is a beautiful ceremony, Lady"

"Thank you" Lady Aelswith said as she looked around her from unwanted listeners "But I'm afraid Edward might not be as interested in his new bride as he is with you" She did not fool around, this woman. Straight to the point

"I'm sorry...?"

"I noticed how he looks at you" She explained "I know my son, probably better than he knows himself..."

"Lady, I'm going to have to stop you there" Aelswith look at her a little shocked but let her talk "You have an amazing son, who one day will be a great king. I have to admit you are not the first to implie he had intentions towards me but I will be honest and say, as thought I admire him as a future leader my heart..."

"Your heart belongs to another" She finished the sentence and Y/N suddenly realized what she had said and who she was thinking about

"Maybe, probably, not important right now" She rambled blushing a little "And also, I respect your son and your family enough to stay away. I am not made to be queen and I will never put the kingdom at risk in that way"

"Well, thank you for your honesty, Lady Y/N" Lady Aelswith said with big and understanding eyes. She even smiled a little at her and Y/N let herslef believe she might have gained some points with the woman "I am glad to see my daugther has found a friend like you"

Both women smiled to each other, Y/N was thrilled Aelswith had not decided to beheaded or something. Did that used to happen is this century? She did not want to find the answer.

Feeling exhausted from all the emotions, she decided she had had enough royal bonding for a lifetime. It was time for her to go home and to find her friends who were probably already drunk at some ale house

So I've been obsessing and re-reading all of your notes for Ruination and came to the realization that although you've briefly touched on the reactions of his family and human enemies, we've left out the response from another important group: The Dragons

How does Cannibal's presence impact the dragons? How do to they react to his presence and he to them?

Vhagar is obviously very special. Thanks to their link, Cannibal knows that she is part of the source of his bonded's absolute burning fury and hate, but the human's thoughts are a bit muddled too and that's given a new dimension and anticipation to their encounters. Dragons, as smart as they can be, are still beasts at root, so natural instinct dictates that they'd both recognize each other as a threat, possible mates (?), and in Cannibal's case a literal snack.

What do you suppose the old gal would make of him? Depending on the lore and speculation you're going off of, Cannibal could be just as ancient as Vhagar if not older, and seeing as she was born/raised in the same area, who knows, they may have clashed long before this generation of Targaryens even existed.

I also like to think that dragons have their own sort of heirarchy system. The older and larger the dragon, the more they can establish their presence, but perhaps the bonds with specific humans can also impact their ranking too.

For example, Vermithor and Silverwing were established mounts of royal blood with known history. They're large and established enough other dragons probably just let them be. But due to age it seems they got a bit lazy, so in the heirachy, they aren't really doing much and among the dragons aren't considered an "active" threat. That would probably change once they get riders though and then Vermithor would be a prime fighting target for Cannibal.

But what about Caraxes? A large, battle tested beast in his prime, bonded to a veteran warrior like Daemon? That practically oozes alpha male energy. I can imagine Caraxes being on edge around this oustider which is further fueled by Daemon's protectiveness. Their humans manage to keep them from fighting, but just barely. Caraxes is too well trained and his bond with Daemon gives him some restraint. Cannibal only manages not to maul him because on some level he recognizes through his bond with Lucerys that Caraxes is important and cannot be eaten right now. He is NOT happy, but the boy promises that he will have other dragons to hunt. There's probably a ton of threat displays and posturing on both of their parts any time they're within each other's range of sight though. Imagine noodly Caraxes all twisted and arched up like a cat, hissing and whistling at a very unimpressed Cannibal, who just needed to lie right in Caraxes' favorite spot to sunbathe. Unstoppable force meets an immovable object. lol

Syrax is the Queen's dragon and that bond means she should be important too, but she doesn't have active combat experience and she's still relatively small and young for a dragon? She might not be too important in Cannibal's eyes, but Lucerys clearly has Syrax on the DO NOT ATTACK list. She might think of him as a big threat to both Rhaenyra and her own offspring though. (According to the wiki, Cannibal ate hatchlings and dragon eggs from the area, so safe to say the big guy probably ate someboy directly related to Syrax.)

Any dragon is probably wary of Cannibal though. Animals can sense predators among them, and generally they're content to stick to their individual territories in the dragon pit or the surrounding areas on the island. They give him a wide berth and he largely ignores them...except when he's petty and antagonizes the others in a fit of boredom. (Daemon totally pushes for Lucerys and Cannibal to be sent out on missions to give them something to do once they start going stir crazy and to give Caraxes a break. lol)

Do you think certain dragons get a little more used to him and tolerate him better than others? You mentioned Jacerys trying not to treat Lucerys too differently. I can imagine him insisting that they go out flying together between training and meetings. As a result, Vermax is a little more at ease around him. Never fully relaxed, but at least he isn't skittering away whenever Cannibal so much as shifts his weight.

Might be a fun dynamic to further explore how Lucerys' love for his family translates over to Cannibal. He doesn't get the concept of love, but he does understand the draconic penchant for hoarding and possession. For good or bad, the humans and dragon's loved by Lucerys are now HIS, and there is nothing more brutal than a dragon guarding what belongs to them. It makes him even more violent when attacking the Greens.

Sorry for going on and on about the behavior of giant fictional flying lizards, but this is what happens when I have a new obsession and then decide to watch an animal documentary series. Haha.

Cannibal will still keep himself, largely, apart from the rest of the dragons. Just because he has Lucerys now doesn't means he's house-trained enough to be left unsupervised with the other dragons lmao. It's also symbolic of the distance Lucerys now feels to his family. For the other dragons, they'd probably feel a bit uneasy around Cannibal, since he's so old, big and violent.

The only one I see as initially less adverse to approaching Cannibal would be Caraxes. The whole idea of the bonds playing into how the dragons hierarchy works is definitely interesting! I think Caraxes' bond with Daemon would definitely influence how he and Cannibal interacted. They'd both know the connection and love between Daemon and Lucerys, so they'd probably play nice just purely on that. Of course, they're still dragons, so their idea of playing nice would be not actively murdering each other.

Same would go for Syrax and even Vermax. Their bonds with Lucerys' family - the ones he loves dearly - would offer them a tentative protection from Cannibal's hunger. He's still wild, so if they did push too far with him, he'd snap back, but he'd restrain himself from outright killing.

I think Cannibal would consider Rhaenyra, Jace, Daemon, etc. as more 'non-entities' at first. Lucerys is literally the only human he cares about because he's his. But over time, he might start to at least identify them as 'family-adjacent'.

Lucerys' family's dragons would get used to Cannibal more quickly, given the proximity and forced interactions - but I'd keep some of the friction there for a good while, I think.

Eventually, over time, Cannibal would be seen as 'one of them'. The uneasiness would likely never fade completely, but once he started to curb the baby / egg eating a bit, the other dragons would probably be more welcoming of his presence.

Now, Vhagar would be the interesting one. Obviously the thing between Aemond and Lucerys is bleeding through a lot, so Cannibal is definitely checking her out (both as a threat and a mate, which is very smart of him). Their clashes are fierce but also dance-like in nature, because they're unconsciously presenting to their potential mate.

Vhagar would see and acknowledge Cannibal's strength and brutality, and she does mark him down as a 'maybe'. He's worthy, but he's also an asshole. I like the thought that they might have clashed in the past. Vhagar's been all over Westeros, and Cannibal's been around the block before as well. At the very least, they would have heard each other at some point - dragon roars carry quite far, after all. So that's a cool concept!

What are the TFP characters reaction to a seemingly nicer Megatron?

In reality ES are pretty small since they kind align with g1 size! Its not their fault tfp are stupidly big. Tfp megs i believe is like 30ft tall, KO is about 21ft in comparison. But for their sake I'll bump them up to a tfp kinda height xD we grow during dimensional travel for science reasons.

ofc Tfp Optimus knows somthing up cause they are there and takes them back depsite knowing that one is a Megatron but clearly isn't his megs.

who's sus? Rachet sus ,because rachet is rachet and that is what he do lol the prime team are weary of Megs. But it comes very clear that this Megs isn't at all like theirs. Its kinda wierd for them to talk to him but God is ot nice to have a Megatron who's not trying to kill you. I think Arcee and Racehet are sus and weary. Which Meg i think would understand he's had to deal with this hesitation by others bots for a while of think.

How do I think the bots would be less inclined to avoid ES megs. The kids ofc! And megs knows how to talk to the kids and has some good practice with Moe and Robbie. He's acutally happy the kids (looking at Ralph and Miko , and eventually Jack) come to talk to him.

Seeing his gentle nature alrund the kids when their megs wouldn't even think twice about crushing them sets everyone at Ease.

Miko is fighting for a ride in his alt mode , she's so exicted. I think its adorable.

Bee , arcee , Bulkhead and yes you too raceht come around to Megs a bit.

Optimus is already very happy to see that yes, a megs can change. And he enjoys tlaking to him and the other op.

oh God I'm now seeing that tfp seeing megs might just fuel his thoughts of "My Megatron can change, I can help him change!" No sweetheart you can't and both ES megs and op agree that their megs is CRAZY.

don't let THE MEGS. MEET. PERIOD. DO NOT. it would such an epic fight let's be real. ES megs is just utterly disgusted that this who who he is here. Who he probably could have become the damage he caused. It makes Megs angery.

Though tfp megs is also disgusted that ES would change, give up the war and join Optimus of all people. The shame ES megs feels seeing Starscream get basically beat up by Megs. (Oof megs maybe you should properly apologize to your star because YEAH IT DOENST LOOK GREAT FROM THE OUSTIDE DOES IT?)

But when comes to TFP op, its a bit harder. Cause ofc tfp op is light hearted here and there but he's a very serious individual, he very much a noble leader and we don't get to many light hearted moments because of how serious the situation is in prime. But ES is extremely more light hearted, dare I say goofy, he's an old man/dad. Some of ES jokes go over tfp head but its ok. He gentle explains and TFP learns lol

See the difference in personality is one scene.

Optimus is having a fun time seeing different versions of himself while Megs is reminds ...right...I'm still bad most of the time in other universes and I still have alot to work on.

My Steven Universe criticisms

Hello, Steven Universe fans/mutuals! Today i’m making a post bringing up some issues i have with Steven Universe series in general that i have noticed while watching the show. Much like any fan any of the show, we all have some things we don’t like about it and think they could have been executed in a better way. A thing that is common to see in any other fandom. Probably some of you may agree with these criticisms or have seen it somewhere else before. Others points may be less common.

I’m going to cover both the original series (Steven Universe) and Steven Universe Future in this post. So you have an overall idea of what you are going to read.

Let’s start:

1) Some episodes from the show would have been better if they were longer/were specials

This is a point i have rarely seen fans and people outside the fandom bring up. There are some episodes from the show that are very lore heavy or important for the characters that would have worked better if they have lasted 13-15 minutes or were half hour specials instead of the typical 11 minutes.

One example i can think of is the episode ¨Now We’re Only Falling Apart¨. The episode itself is pretty good but i think it is something that could have worked better if it was a 22 special instead of only being 11 minutes long. This is supposed to be an episode that explains tons of things that are crucial for the show, such as Pearl and Rose’s backstories, what made Pink decide to ¨become¨ Rose Quartz, what inspired the rebellion, etc. You would expect for an episode like this to be longer but sadly it was limited in time much like other episodes.

Another example other of this is ¨Alone at the Sea¨. This episode could have worked better if Lapis and Jasper had a longer conversation about their toxic relationship when they were Malachite and thus addressing in more depth in what they both failed at and what they did wrong (even if Jasper didn’t realize it yet by that point). Since it was a very important episode for both characters, i feel like it could have lasted 13-15 minutes to explore their past toxic relationship better instead of making their scene rather rushed and confusing for the audience.

I think that this issue explains general pacing problems and some things not getting a deeper explanation oustide of a quick scene. It is what causes other problems in the show, because most episodes had to be 11 minutes long. With longer episodes, there are things that could have been explored better and given a better conclusion overall.

2) Lapis Lazuli’s character arc is rather messy

I really love Lapis Lazuli as a character and how she overcomes her trauma over the course of the show. She is an interesting morally grey character with multiple sides to her. I like how she isn’t exactly a ¨bad¨ person but she isn’t exactly ¨good¨ neither.

However, i have two issues is how her arc is handled in the series:

Firstly, she doesn’t seem to have an arc built the same way other main/recurrent characters do, as in the sense of ¨mini arcs¨ that explore and evolve an specific character from the show. Peridot has her ¨mini arc¨ in Season 2 with around 8-9 episodes. Amethyst has hers in Season 3 while Jasper is a main antagonist. Garnet has one near the end of Season 5 about how she feels about herself and looking up to Rose Quartz. Lapis, on the other hand, has three episodes at the start of Season 3 ( Same Old World, Barn Mates and Hit the Diamond) but after that she seems to have her own episode every 7-10 episodes. It’s a bit weird how it is paced out in the rest of the series. I think her arc needed to have few more episodes or more screen time for her flaws and issues to get better addressed. For example: There is a comic issue about Lapis being constanly scared of what could happen in the future, which is related to her trauma. She later has a talk with Garnet that helps her with calming down. This is something that could have been an episode for the show.

The second issue that i have with her arc, which ties a bit with the first problem, is how often Lapis Lazuli’s toxic traits were given a ¨pass¨ unlike other characters from the show. It feels like she didn’t always had to face the consequences of her actions and/or weren’t properly brought up, which kinda felt like she was given special treatment by the narrative. I think this in part comes from how Lapis was usually seen from Steven’s perspective and him having a certain bias. Steven buried his feelings when it came to bringing up her flaws and struggled being honest with her. Peridot took Steven’s example, explaning why she struggled with being honest with Lapis Lazuli too, leading to having an unbalanced-rather codependent relationship with her.

This problem seemed to have been fixed a bit in SU Future in ¨Why So Blue?¨, where Steven is less biased towards Lapis and is better at bringing her issues up. He seems to be more firm to her while being proud of her making an effort to change at the same time. This episode in general is pretty good for Lapis because it gives a more realistic take on her character, in how she can be nice but she has tons of issues she has to work in, she still can lash out to others and lose control.

I believe that SU Future could have had an episode involving Lapis and Jasper having a conversation about their relationship and both talking about went wrong to give a better conclusion to their conflict. While maybe Jasper still didn’t realize how toxic it was, Lapis could have given her thoughts on it looking back at how bad that was and maybe offering Jasper help if she needed something.

Speaking about Jasper...

3) Jasper didn’t get proper exploration to her issues

This is something that many Jasper fans out there have talked about. About how Jasper needed more screen time and how we didn’t get to see her issues explored properly in the show.

Jasper herself is a very interesting character that shares tons of parallels to Steven in both the original series and in Future. In Future they are a foil of each other and their characters arcs are linked together.

Honestly, i do not mind if Jasper wasn’t helped by Steven in SU Future like Peridot and Lapis Lazuli were helped in the original series. Steven by that point was too mentally tired from having to help everyone and wasn’t in the best place mentally to help her. (Forcing her to accept his help,being condescending and over stepping boundaries). Jasper was also too stubborn to get help, thinking it would made her weak and she didn’t deserve it. All this is understandable giving the characters and the context in SU Future. The issue is that we never got to see how Jasper feels about the whole Pink being Rose reveal, the gem that she hated most of her life; how she feels about being from the Beta Kindergarten and her feeling that she is defective deep down; how she feels about her previous relationship with Lapis after the timeskip, etc.

This could have been fixed with having a few more episodes about Jasper. Maybe Fragments being a two part episode or more episodes about Steven training with her. Steven could have spent more days with her and thus growing closer to her and learning about her. This is why is not that rare to see fans writing fanfics or comics that take place after the events of ¨ I Am My Monster ¨ and before "The Future", when Jasper is starting to live on Little Homeworld and getting the help she needs. Because, unlike other recurrent characters, her issues weren’t explored with the same depth, despite her being a complex interesting character.

I would love if in some near future we get an special about her character getting developed better and diving into her psyche. If not, some spin-off comics about her being on Little Homeworld. That would fix this issue i have of her arc feeling ¨incomplete¨.

4) Season 4′s pacing is kind of awkward

I’m not sure how to explain this but there is something about Season 4 (also know previously as Season 3 A) that feels like the first half is awkwardly paced. The episodes of this half aren’t exactly bad, in fact, most of them are good and they follow up certain plot lines and character arcs. The issue to me is that it takes around eleven episodes until the the space adventure arc happens ( From ¨Steven’s Dream¨ to ¨That Will Be All), so, it takes a while for the the elements to come to play. Maybe if the space adventure arc took place a bit earlier, like, episode 6-7, this would be less of an issue and making the season more easy to digest.

It could have also helped if in ¨Gem Harvest¨ Lapis had a bigger role in the episode and she even could have had a conversation with Andy about how it’s hard to let things from your past go.

Maybe this is more of a personal issue of mine and other people don’t mind about it that much. I just think that this half of Season 4 could have been paced better.

5) Bluebird as episode feels unnecessary

I don’t hate this episode but it feels like it is repeating a lesson that the show teaches in other occasions in a more nuanced way with other characters (People aren’t always going to change their mind or don’t think they need help). The series already did this with Jasper, Eyeball and a bit with Bismuth in Season 3 with Steven failing in helping them in the context and blaming himself later for that. Also, with Aquamarine in ¨Stuck Together¨ and with Kevin’s character.

This episode gives this same lesson that you can find in almost every other animated series delivered in the most cartoonish way possible using the same characters to give the same message again. Instead of wasting time with these characters, we could have had an episode exploring Jasper or Lapis, or being about anything else. This episode feels like most obvious in your face lesson in SU Future.

I can give an episode like ¨A Very Special Episode¨ more of a pass because the lesson is more related to Steven’s arc in Future and how he can be self-destructive when it comes to helping people. In addition to this, we get to see more of Rainbow 2.0 and Sunstone’s personalities that we couldn’t in ¨Change Your Mind¨.

I would be less harsh with ¨Bluebird¨ if the episode have had a proper follow up in which we see Aquamarine and Eyeball prefering to hang out together instead of seeking revenge on Steven. It would have nice to see this as an example of Steven not befriending a gem but they are still able to change for the better.

6) Rose Quartz’s character could have been left in a better position

One issue i have with Rose Quartz’s arc is the opinion the characters have on her the last time we see her being brought up. She is potrayed as terrible and a bad person. Which in part it is true, she wasn’t a good person and hurt people who considered her a close friend.

However, Rose Quartz was also someone who started the Gem rebellion and saved Earth from being hollowed. She protected humanity and gave place to gems that were considered defective in the eyes of Homeworld’s system. She sacrificed her position as Diamond to be able to protect Earth among other things.

The point is that she was someone who was trying to change and battled the toxic upbringing she had with the other Diamonds, who were abusive towards her. In her path into trying to be a better person she made a lot of mistakes and her self hatred made her do self-destructive things like hiding things and keeping secrets from everyone.

I think it would have been more nuanced for the last scene that she is mentioned that she was a gem who wasn’t good but she wasn’t exactly a monster neither. She was as flawed as any other gem and she should be seen as such. She did some good thing and she did some bad things. The episode ¨Volleyball¨ ends up giving more or less this idea about Rose Quartz’s character with both Pink Peark and Pearl having a more completed idea of what kind of gem Rose was, which is pretty good. I think it could have been nice for Steven as character to have this a moment reflecting on this in a later episode, even if he still feels very mixed about Rose. It would have been a better conclusion for her character in the show.

So, there you have it. Here are some of my main issues with the show. The ones that bother me the most are the first three points (Some episodes should have lasted longer, Lapis’ and specially Jasper’s arc could have been better handled). Note that there are other things like the animation but i think it’s something that has been brought up so many times by others that i would be beating a dead horse. Plus, other animated shows i have seen from CN and Disney TVA don’t have stellar animation neither, they just happen to be better directed or a bit more consistent. (Disney TVA shows have been having better animation lately though).

As for the Diamonds, i think they could have had more episodes in the original show but i do understand that the crew was given 5-6 episodes by the network to wrap up the entire main storyline. Although i wished their arc could have been longer, the writers tried giving them a conclusion the best way they could, with all the pacing issues that comes with it. I care more about Lapis and Jasper’ arcs were handled since they were from the start of the show and were more recurrent characters. That’s all.
