imagine you're just a funny lil imp who does your devilish deeds in a pretty small sphere, just making humans stumble and getting them to drop their coffee or something. it's all you can bring yourself to do, and it's not like you're a renowned imp (or want to become one, either).

since you're not particularly strong, you try to avoid ever getting in contact with any of the high level demons or so, they seem too scary and dangerous after all. except once you happen to meet gemi[ni], thinking them to be a normal demon considering how down to earth they are, you become little pals of sorts, telling them all about the human world and the silly pranks you do. well, once you find out their true identity, you just feel so embarrassed for treating them so casually, you just can't bring yourself to ever see them again, at least for the next one thousand years or so at that.

how would gemi[ni] react?

Shit- How could you make such a careless mistake?

Your friendship began due to a single, faithful accident. One event that could've easily been avoided - had it not been for a mischievous little imp who had yet to get their daily fix of humanly woes.

For a while, you had taken up shop in a shopping center somewhere out in a decently sized city. A wide, open space with plenty of stores and alleys for you to reck havoc in. On that day, your shop of choice happened to be a little comic store huttled in the corner of the mall. You had been the cause of multiple people quitting and the ban of general displays after you knocked them over one to many times, but today you had your eyes on the customers - one in particular to be more precise.

"What do you mean you don't have it?'

You snitch from behind the cash register as the patron in question slams their fist on the table. The cashier flinches in response as they lean in, teeth bared in a snarl.

"I preorder that figure the day it was announced- and you sold it to someone else?!"

You cover your hands over your mouth to prevent yourself from bursting out in laughter, despite the fact that no one could hear you. You thought nothing of this specific person at first. If you got to them, you got to them, but upon hearing them shouting in rage at the cashier you couldn't pass up the opportunity to suck up their misfortune. You weren't even sure what was going on for the most part other than something they wanted was out of stock. It would be such a shame if what they had got happened to get mixed up with another patron's items.

"I'm really sorry about this-" The cashier replies. "we can give you a discount for what you've picked out today."

The customer sighs. "Fine. You're a bunch of incompetent bastards, but I'll take what I can get."

While they pay, you reach into the bag on the counter, and swap its contents with the one to their left. Snickering to yourself, you slip out the front door onto the next location. Sometimes the idea of the reaction was better than seeing the real thing, and the you didn't know how long it would take so it was best not to waste your time when you could pull off more hits.

"Hey!"

You don't even turn when your hear a shout. It wasn't like humans could see you, so you were the most unlikely suspect.

A rock hits the ground by your feet.

"I'm talking to you, shrimp."

Fearing the worse, you glance back; locking eyes with the ill-tempered customer. No further conformation needed, you book it; speeding off down the street before they take their first step. You dart into the nearest all, knocking into a few trash cans as you come to a halt. You peak around the corner. With the crowded streets and how fast you were going, they should be far behind and soon a thing of the-

"Nice try."

Spinning on your heels, the previously bumped into cans go flying to the ground as you jump ten feet in the air. The customer stands behind you, tapping their heel against the dirt as they check their nails.

"Took you long enough. I was starting to get bored." They grab you by your shirt collar. "Normally, I'd have squished a bug like you by now, but..."

You squirm under the sharpness of their finger as it drags across your face. It's been so long since you've met another demon that you had completely forgotten your own kinds' scent. You thought they were a little off, but never in a million years did you think they were like you. Given their stature, they had to have some power, but the weakness of their scent led you to believe they weren't that much higher on the class scale than you.

"...this isn't a normal situation." They flick you in the forehead before letting you go as they smirk. "Your little prank let to me getting what I really wanted and seeing the joy you got from it sparked some interest. My other half always tells me I need to interact more with this world, along with people in general- and I believe you'll be the perfect one to help by out."

You swallow your breath. "Do I have a choice?"

They laugh. "You're a class act already. "

And thus began your budding relationship. At first it was just retailing your greatest pranks over desserts, but soon they joined you on your ventures as well. Nothing too crazy, but the occasion push or shove. To make things far, they told you about the hobbies they fancied as well. From video games to comics, they had a vast knowledge on human media, but not so much their people. You would soon find out your new companion's name was Gemi. It rings some bells, but not loud enough for you to recall where you heard the name before.

As much fun as you were having, you started to notice something off from time to time. At random intervals, their brass, and bold persona would be switched for a more timid, antsy one. They also refused to take your hand, despite literally carrying you from danger in the space. Regardless of the personality, they began to grow more hostile to those around when you both took humanly forms. It was unlike anything you had seen with the demon before, but since they were still your loyal friend you had no complaints.

That was- until the day you found out their true face.

You were at a cafe they enjoyed, having just ordered your treats, when you come to find that yours came with a phone number on the bag. Finding it humorous/an opportunity for a new target, you show it off to Gemi with a laugh.

"Hey Jimmy, check it out. I think that cashier wrote his number on here. Funny, right?"

Instead of a finding it funny, Gemi goes quiet. They stay as such the whole time, taking occasional glances at the counter. As someone walks from the back, they excuse themselves while you finish your snack. With them still gone by the time you finished, you get up to look for them. Entering the unlocked bathroom, you find them standing in front of one of the mirrows - and a body in their arms.

"Are you sure about this, my lord?"

Instead of their reflection, the mirror shows a portal to a room with white walls. A shadowy figure stands patiently before them, arms outstretched despite their query. Gemi scowls as they shove the limp human in their arms.

"Yes, but if you really need the both of us to answer- Gemini is the one who suggested this." Their eyes soften as they continue. "I did not! All I said was maybe he needed to take a short- long-term vacation until we had more time to win them over. Ceres will be on our wings if she finds out about this."

"Be quiet- it's my turn today, so you can't speak unless I give you the say so."

The recollection their name comes crashing back to you. The twin Devils, Gemi and Gemini. Combined souls and a third of the fallen ruler of the underworld. Fear creeps up your chest as you realize you've been buddy buddy with one of the most powerful beings in your realm. What did they want with an imp like you? Did they truly value or friendship, or were they only looking to past the time until something better came along? Would they get rid of you after that like the mortal? Maybe you were the one they were win or- and they wanted you to be their pet. You didn't know what was going to be the outcome and you didn't want to find out.

Slipping away beneath the veil of the crowd, you avoided the pair from that day forth. They attempted to contact on the phone you stole a week back, but you chucked it in the streets at the first call. You saw them from time to time in the plaza, but fled before they could spot you. You heard people speaking of a stranger who would demand information on someone with your general appearance, who'd suddenly burst into tears along way through. There was a spot in your heart that missed them, but you valued your safety more.

After a month long hiatus, you were getting back into the groove of pulling your devious tricks. You moved across town to a much smaller, but decently populated area. While going after your next victim, tearing a hole in the plastic bag they caring, you feel the urge to follow them until they noticed. Your venture leads you to an empty street, and you only notice something is off whem the lights start to flicker. The human turns to you. You recognize him.

"I'm sorry.."

As he runs off, a large figure descends from its perch atop a light fixture. They're in their true form, standing over you at over three meters tall. They snatch your arm with the talons of their winged limb; their dozens of eyes full of rage - and grief.

"Where have you been." Gemi hisses. "We both you got hurt. We thought you were dead."

"Please don't kill me!"

Their grimace falls. "Hurt you? Why would we do that?"

"Because I ran. I know I shouldn't have, but I.. I don't want to be your servant!"

Gemi starts at you deadpanned. Their lips slowly curl into a shaky smile as they break out into a full belly laugh. They left you go as they wipe a tear from their eye; face shifting at their other half takes control. You feel the urge to run now that you're free, but something tells you, you shouldn't."

"Oh, Y/...I-.. We'd never see you as below us." Gemi takes the wheel once more. "We love you, you adorable fool. Give our.. condition, we don't agree on much, but we are certain that you are our destined partner. I do tend to have a temper... and steer away from romance so we had trouble pursuing you.

Gemi grabs you with their second pair of limbs, each face taking their turn to kiss your cheeks as they wrap their wings around your smaller frame.

"You are ours, and as ours- you are our equal. We hate to do this, but due to you running away we cannot let you out of our sight again. We promise your punishment will be most pleasurable, before we get started on the wedding plans the following eve."

I stopped buying from Newcl0ver last year after I saw first hand how greedy they have become. (I use plural pronouns because I refuse to believe Chr1stina is one person.) I had an order in on this bust stand that was per my recollection 3-4 months production time on the product page when I first purchased it. They delete the product pages after preorders so I don't remember. Anyhow, it took way longer than that, I asked them about the order multiple times since I saw people on IG get theirs, and they just kept saying "soon, soon". At 8 months I said I want to cancel. They said that it's ok, but they can only refund me 75% of the price because they will make a loss since they cannot cancel the order to the store and have to resell my order at loss. I agreed if only to be out of it, because I thought it's fair that we share the loss.

Well, a few months later I saw *my* bust stand listed in their "in stock -30% off" category, with my exact order options, and they were asking MORE than I paid during my initial order. I was still able to access my order notes through my profile and check. So I guess that's why they remove the original listings before people get their goods, huh? -30% off? Compared to what? Not the price I paid. I felt like they just scammed me out of 25% of my payment using the pity card and then cashed in some extra on someone else, too.

Their Taobao fees have skyrocketed. A couple years ago, it used to be the price in CNY x 0,19, but now it's already price in CNY x 0,22. One CNY is 0,14 USD so for every dollar you spend in their store, 36 cents go directly into their pocket for just receiving your box and sending it forward. And it's true that the fee includes free standard international shipping to most countries, but still, it's quite a big fee to pay for sending them a ready list of Taobao links and having your stuff drop-shipped to you. The difference in past and current service fees is even more gross considering they used to send monthly 10-15 usd off or 5% off coupons with their newsletters, but no longer do. When I asked them last year why the fees have risen and discounts stopped, they said it's due to the bad exchange rate of CNY to USD. I googled it and while it's true that the rate momentarily fluctuated in 2021-2022, for the past 6 months the exchange rate of CNY-USD has been at the same level as in 2020, so their excuse seems lacking.

I have had several missing items from each of my six large Taobao orders, but I was patient with reminding them about the items because I thought my orders are painfully big (100+ items). But, if you get paid the price you named for your service, is it really on the customer to feel like a burden when you eff up? It was often the expensive items that I had to chase after, too. Like, once when I ordered 30 bags of beads ranging from 1 to 20 dollars, it was the freshwater pearls that cost 20 dollars that were missing. She did always refund me or send the missing items, but it took me a lot of time to check and report, and I had to pay extra customs fees for the after-deliveries.

I used to be a loyal fan of Newcl0ver but I've removed all the messages in my socials where I nudged people towards ordering from them to avoid M00nlightbjdh0use's scammy high agent fees. Now I place Newcl0ver at the same low level as M00n. I'm gonna have to find myself a new doll dealer, since the two big USA dealers don't match my criteria, either. I have heard good things of Magus' agent services, but have yet to try them. Christina is not an official agent of most the artists they claim to represent, anyway, so it's the same to straight out go to someone who is open about not being an official dealer and prices accordingly.

Happy Pride Month! We wish you the gayest of times as we head into summer. We are happy to announce that work on the zine is still going smoothly! Introductions to our contributors are still being posted every Monday, so keep an eye out and meet the talented folks participating in this project.

Reminder for our contributors: our second check in is June 15th. Please see our email for more information.

August 18th, preorders will open on our website (link to be posted soon). applications will open if/when i get enough interest in the zine- it’s heading in a good direction for me so that could be soon, maybe in a week or so?

a mod would help with things like finances (if we decide to go with the paid zine), project management and admin :)

as for contributing to the (hypothetical) paid zine, ideally funding would come from preorders and if not i’ll pay for it out of pocket, I don’t want the participants to have to pay for joining my zine

Strange as the Sky (HaiKaveh)

After Tighnari notes that he and Kaveh act like an old married couple, Alhaitham (kinda) considers (maybe) marriage.

It isn’t apparent until Tighnari says something. “You fight like an old married couple,” he says as he leans over a steaming pan, tossing around red onions.

Alhaitham leans against the counter, holding a glass of wine that is mostly full because he’s still too awkward to decline it when offered. “I…”

No, that isn’t right, he thinks as his gaze slips to Kaveh who sits at the kitchen table with Cyno, agitated over their current TCG match. Kaveh is not his husband, he will never be his husband, and it isn’t that Alhaitham would want him as one, but—

It isn’t as though he wouldn’t want such a thing, either. Marriage… Alhaitham thinks it wouldn’t be so terrible. Practical, even. They get along. They share the bills, taxes, and—apparently—dubious taste in friendships. Such a union would be a logical step, no?

Tighnari’s gaze tilts towards him. “Alhaitham?”

Alhaitham is still awkward even with decades of practice under his belt. Socializing is a chore. He likes Tighnari well enough, but he is here for Kaveh’s benefit. He comes because he’s expected to, and to keep Kaveh in check. “It wasn’t a fight,” he finally says.

Tighnari gives him a dry look, eyebrows drawn to nearly his hairline. “He threatened to pour the pitcher of wine all over you.”

Alhaitham snorts. “Probably a better use of it.”

Tighnari can’t help the short chuckle he lets loose. He dumps a handful of spices into the pot and stirs. “My point stands. Still, thanks for bringing him out here. It’s nice to share dinner once in a while somewhere other than a bar.”

He agrees. They’re older now, and while Kaveh doesn’t imbibe nearly as much as they had in their youth, he still has his occasional outings. Time shared with friends is limited to, usually, a few drinks once in a blue moon—which, to Alhaitham, is worse. Taverns are loud, stink, and have terrible coffee. He’d rather—

“What’re you thinking about?” Tighnari’s question cuts through his thoughts.

Before Alhaitham can answer, Kaveh sweeps past him to pour himself a fresh glass of wine. “I’ll tell you what—that he wants to go home.”

Partially true, but that isn’t a secret from anyone there. “I am enjoying myself.” Alhaitham reaches out to catch Kaveh’s wrist. “Also, you should drink water.”

Kaveh huffs. “I’ll drink what I want—”

“After a glass of water.”

Alhaitham’s request is ignored entirely as Kaveh shoots him a smirk and pours that glass of wine. But, as soon as the pitcher is set down, Kaveh pulls another glass from the cabinet and fills it at the tap. “Not because you told me to,” he makes sure to explain. Then, with both glasses, he heads back to the table for a second round of TCG with Cyno.

“See?” says Tighnari as he turns up the flame on the stove. “Like an old married couple.”

“He’s always done what he’s wanted—and he should. Kaveh is his own man.”

Tighnari hums as he pours liquor into the pan and sets it alight. A flame flares up, licking his face, and he tosses the food around as he cooks off the alcohol. “This isn’t an I told you so, type of observation, Alhaitham. You get him.”

Alhaitham quirks an eyebrow. “And?”

“That’s all. You get him. There isn’t anymore to it than that.” Tighnari tosses in a batch of freshly cut mushrooms to whatever he’s pan-frying. As it simmers, he finally meets Alhaitham’s face. “Look, I’ve known the two of you for a long time. It’s nice that you… have each other? I don’t have to worry about the both of you.”

“You mean Kaveh.”

“No, I mean the both of you.”

Strange. Alhaitham is no fool. He knows that Cyno and Tighnari care, but he’s always assumed this to be conditional of Kaveh’s friendship. Alhaitham looks at Kaveh again, who’s on his feet shouting mild obscenities. Cyno hides a grin behind his palm, watching with amusement as Kaveh takes his loss gracelessly.

“Kaveh is special. That’s all. He isn’t like anyone else.”

Tighnari stares right through him and Alhaitham squirms slightly under that all-knowing glance. “You can say that again.” A quick toss of his pan. “Have you ever told him that?”

No. Never. Alhaitham doesn’t need to, though. Kaveh is the smartest man that he knows, and it isn’t because he harks about it constantly. Kaveh’s intelligence is loud and obvious, etched right into the buildings that he’s brought to life. And Alhaitham enjoys that, walking through Sumeru City and seeing his touch everywhere, especially when he knows just what Kaveh goes through to create them.

Still.

Like an old married couple.

It wouldn’t be the first time that Alhaitham has thought it wouldn’t be so bad—marrying Kaveh. Convenient. It would make sense, and it’s not as if anyone else would put up with him. Over a decade they’ve lived with each other, over a decade of Kaveh promising he’d move out only for him to just bring more furniture in, or buy appliances, or cook dinner for the two of them on the regular.

They are close—closer to each other than anyone would ever have the right to be.

“Do you love him?” asks Tighnari quietly.

Ahaitham stills. No. Yes? No. But, then again, what is love? Alhaitham cannot imagine his mornings without Kaveh’s grousing, or their nights without his burning the midnight oil until the lamps are nearly down and Alhaitham has to drape a blanket over his shoulders after falling asleep at his desk. So, perhaps that is a type of love, but it doesn’t quite concern Alhaitham.

“It doesn’t matter,” he finally replies, clinging to that glass of wine in his hand like it’s a lifeline. “What was it that you said? We just… are.”

That’s all they have to be. There isn’t a need to muck it up.

Tighnari’s face softens and he nods. “Well, I suppose that’s easier.”

“Why?” asks Alhaitham, his face tipping up.

“I don’t have to threaten to kick your ass if you hurt him.”

Alhaitham laughs, a rare and honest sound. “Kaveh would be the first in line, I assure you.”

Later, after dinner, when Tighnari and Cyno are cleaning the kitchen and refilling the oil lanterns, Kaveh slips outside. Alhaitham follows like a silent shadow, tracing his footsteps out onto the wooden slats of Gandharva Ville’s walkways.

“Dinner was good,” says Kaveh, conversationally, rubbing at his stomach. “It’s been a long time since we’ve had a proper meal.”

“Is that a complaint?” asks Alhaitham, leaning against a post.

“Me? Complain? Never.”

Alhaitham cracks a grin, hiding it behind his palm. Kaveh’s love language is complaining; it’s the only thing that he does, and it’s how he shows that he cares. A day where he doesn’t complain to Alhaitham about even the most minute things is an immediate red flag.

He’s relieved to see Kaveh in good spirits because lately he’s been so tired.

And, perhaps it’s age. They are busy working load after load and their responsibilities have grown over the years. There is little time for more than their daily tasks, a quick meal, and then passing out at the end of the night. Alhaitham thinks of Kaveh’s blueprints spread over his desk and the numerous mugs of coffee that litter it throughout the day.

“Hey, what’s with that look?”

Alhaitham didn’t realize he had a look. It’s the second time that he’s been asked that night but the weight of Kaveh’s stare is heavier than the one Tighnari tossed his way. The reason is simple: Kaveh is different. Special.

“I’m just thinking.”

“Oh? What a rare thing.”

“Kaveh.”

“Don’t strain a muscle—”

“Kaveh.”

Kaveh frowns. “You’re acting strange.”

Alhaitham is not. Alhaitham really is just thinking, but Kaveh knows him better than he knows himself. He reaches out and clasps his fingers around Alhaitham’s wrist. “Are you okay?” asks Kaveh, quieter, searching, concerned.

“Tighnari was talking about us.” Kaveh’s expression goes cat-eyed with curiosity, waiting for Alhaitham to further expand upon the thought. “Teased us about acting like an old married couple.”

Kaveh scoffs and lets go of his wrist. “He would say that, wouldn’t he?” A pause as he gives Alhaitham a side-along glance and a nudge to the ribs with his elbow. “Would you want that?”

“To marry you?”

A short laugh falls from Kaveh’s lips. “No.” Alhaitham is almost offended by his sharp tone. “I just meant marriage in general.” Another stretch of silence between them until Kaveh nudges Alhaitham’s ribs again. “But, if it were me? Just for curiosity’s sake.”

“The idea of marriage is not palatable with anyone other than you,” replies Alhaitham honestly. He owes Kaveh that, at least.

Kaveh’s face tilts towards him. “That was surprisingly…profound.”

“You would know if I lied. And, there is no reason to. Kaveh, you know that you are… special to me.”

“Hm, yes. Dreadful thing, isn’t it?”

Alhaitham snorts softly. Kaveh’s tone is gentle, affectionate even. There is a reason that he tolerates Alhaitham, and has continued to do so even after all these years. “Would you say yes? If I were to ask?” It is curiosity that piques him. Nothing would or will change, regardless of Kaveh’s answer.

Kaveh rubs his face. “I… wouldn’t say no. But, it would heavily depend on the taxes we would save.” An expected response from Kaveh, steeped so deeply in sarcasm that it may as well be tea. “But, I suppose that’s the dream of many, hm? Having a partner?”

“Is that what we are? Partners?” Alhaitham’s question comes easily.

And Kaveh’s answer does too. “Well, it’s not as though anyone else will put up with me.”

Surprisingly simple. Perhaps Tighnari was right. Alhaitham leans against that pole under the cloudless, starry night and thinks as he often does that these moments shared with Kaveh come effortlessly. It is not the same with others.

But Alhaitham knows he wouldn’t want it to be. This is where he’d rather be, and Kaveh is the only one he’d share them with. Kaveh is quiet. Alhaitham is quiet. It suits them. Another nudge against Alhaitham’s ribs when Tighnari calls them back inside.

They linger there instead and it is nice.

Marvel Trumps Hate! About me, and some auction blurb!

Hi Tumblr!

So as I mentioned before, I’m involved in the Marvel Trumps Hate fan auction this year and it’s looking to be a fantastic year for raising money for charity. If you’d like to get involved, there’s loads of really awesome auctions, and still things you can bid on that are under $20 in the golden needle auctions, which you can check out here.

I’m here to talk to you about my auctions, though, since I’ve learned a little more about the auction since signing up and I wanted to expand on my offers a little bit. Before I do that, though I want to thank the folks who have bid on my auctions so far and everyone in the Discord who have made me feel super welcome I really didn’t expect anyone to be interested in my stuff since I’m a bit of a fandom phantom and only briefly reappear to post the occasional thing. You’ve been amazing, and it’s a warm glowy feeling to know I’ll be able to do something to help out some great charities working on these projects for my winners.

So let’s get started on this, shall we?

Hi, I’m Dogsled :) I have been in one fandom or another for 25 years now, though my longest stints were in Harry Potter and Supernatural. I was very “general audience” with Marvel for the longest time, and only really started opening up to the possibility of making content for it over the last year and a half. Firmly a Stucky fan in spirit, I got hooked on Winterbaron this year and wrote Freedom Paid for in Acts of Submission back in February.

In terms of the MCU it’s easier to tell you things I haven’t watched than things I have, and basically it’s just Netflix shows that aren’t the first two seasons of Daredevil or the first season of Jessica Jones (though I am planning on working on resolving this gap). I’ve read several big Steve and Bucky story runs (Brubaker’s Winter Soldier run, Civil War I and II and Secret Empire) but haven’t dived in beyond that yet. I’m eager and willing to read any comic or watch any movie necessary to understand a story prompt. You want an AU of a specific romcom? I can do that. Need me to read Planet Hulk? Sure, no problem. Just something to keep in mind :3

So what am I doing in terms of content right now? I worked on a piece for the Coloring for a Marvelous Cause book (which I can share with you guys on the 15th!) and I’m now working on a comic and a NSFW art piece for the Winteriron Zine which will be coming to preorders soon, and I can’t wait for you guys to see the great work everyone is doing for that project because it all looking amazing. Re. writing, I have cards for Stucky Bingo, Steve Rogers Bingo, Bucky Barnes Bingo and the Winterfalcon Bingo, which have been keeping me motivated, and maybe one day I’ll get back to my long distance pining WIP which is Bucky centric with a touch of mutual unrequited Stucky love because I Like Suffering.

But none of this wall of text is actually helpful so far, right, so let’s jump into specifics:

Hi, I am a dirty multishipper. I like rarepairs. I will write threesomes and moresomes. I will write m/m, m/f or f/f without hesitation. I like the challenge of making things happen inside canon, but I also like time travel and multiverse shenanigans and have been known to eat up an AU or two.

You’re wondering if I will write or draw your ship or your character or your kink and the answer is… Very probably? I mean seriously, I don’t need much encouragement here. I’d give it a try. Obviously there are things I think I may be better at over others, but I mean if you want to outbid everyone else to throw something completely unexpected at me I’m going to take it as a challenge, not a threat. Like. If you want HYDRA!Daredevil/Cap!Bucky/Jen Walters fic I might scratch my head for a few hours over the idea but I would find a way, that’s all I’m saying.

So here’s the deal, let’s go over each auction, then I’ll throw some ideas at you, too.

Auction 1: Fic auction - currently $300 (!!!)

So we’ve unlocked the full scope of this auction already, and that means a minimum of 20k words from me, but seeing as that was already unlocked a while back, I’ve decided to add a couple of extra things to this auction for the winner.

The winner of this auction will receive:

Minimum 20k words of fic AND An illustrated banner for that fic Themed dividers A full color illustration of something in the story

Here’s an example of all three from a Dean/Cas Reverse Bang project I worked on 4 years ago!

If bids hit $500 (I don’t imagine it’s going that high but I never imagined it was going to go to $300 either) I’d also like to include a 5-10k ‘extra’ fic for the winner. Can be a snapshot from the same story/verse, a different story or pairing entirely, or you can gift the extra fic to a friend.

So. FUNNY STORY. Because this is my first auction I kinda thought if people wanted different pairings they’d send me a message and we could chat about it, but I forgot that we all are mostly very shy, so I want to clarify: these are just the ships that I have the most enthusiasm about writing! These are the pairings I motivate myself to write, but that’s really not the point of this at all. I want to write a fic FOR YOU. So tell me, what are your pairings?

You want Bucky/Peggy? Bucky/Frank? Bucky/Wade? Bucky/Yelena? Bucky/a recast Thunderbolts movie of your choice where it’s just everyone trying to get in his pants and him being very picky? Clint/Yelena? Hell, polyam Clint and his wife in a Winterwidow sandwich? I’ll do it. Steve/Tony? With Bucky too? Steve/Matt? Bucky/Matt/Foggy? Stephen/Steve/Steven? Peggy/Nat? Carol/Sam? Loki/Steve? Loki/Mobius? Loki/Kang? Loki/Gamora? Brock/that one guy who was in only one scene in Winter Soldier and was never seen again? Uh Thor/Steve? Thor/Peter/Gamora? Bucky/Kate? Zemo/Fury? I could go on and on with all the combinations and never run out, but I am trying to make a point here. LET ME WRITE YOUR RAREPAIRS.

Okay, so I said I was going to make some suggestions, and I’ve already done a few already in all of that…craziness. So here are a few things I’ve thought about writing but never had the time to:

I’d love to write a Bucky/Zemo fic set in WW2 where Zemo is a POW being held in the same facility Bucky’s taken to after his fall. He helps keep him sane through the torture and watches him slip away to the brainwashing, then escapes, rescues him and nurses him back to health, helping him to remember his name

I’d love to write just about anyone adopting Bucky and taking care of him after Endgame. If that’s Stephen Strange with them both helping each other over their mutual heartbrokenness, Matt Murdock being his lawyer working with him to secure fair terms for his parole, Marc and Steven helping him learn to accept the Winter Soldier part of himself, or Clint and his wife adopting him as a mutual third partner in their marriage and buying him chickens and a cat and a goat. I just want to write people healing Bucky and Bucky healing them.

Steve/Zemo. I want to write more of this pairing, simple as that, but I especially would love to write something set in some variety of their Secret Empire relationship where they were childhood friends. Could be an AU, could be some sort of pining where Secret Empire Zemo comes to meddle in the MCU after the end of that arc takes his friend away I haven’t thought too hard about it.

A Stucky AU where Steve becomes the Sorceror Supreme instead of a super soldier and rescues Bucky with magic.

Loki/Steve set as an alternate to canon where Loki is jealous of Thor’s relationship with Steve and abducts him (on a space adventure? Why not?) or a Loki/Bucky set in present day canon after the Disney serieses where Loki and Bucky are teaming up as good guys and discover they have a lot in common (while assassinating alternate universe versions of Kang like some mad Man On The Wall crossover?

(CW abuse) A Steve/Brock and Bucky/Brock fic which is Steve being in this borderline abusive relationship with Brock, whom he’s desperate to please, not really understanding that what he’s been asked to put up with is unacceptable, while Brock as the Winter Soldier’s handler is abusive to Bucky and tells him all about it, maybe shows him the pictures he gets Steve to send etc. Stucky happy ending and canon just deserts.

Again all of these are just ideas, and just grab bagged out of nowhere, basically. If any of that inspires you and you want to encourage me to write it, that’s awesome, but I would be JUST as excited to write your fic for you.

This auction is for a full page illustration of up to three characters (already unlocked)

Here’s the blurb:

I'm offering a full comic style cover for a character of your choice from the fandoms mentioned, though I'm up for discussion if you have some other character or fandom in mind. That means a color illustration made to look just like a comic book cover depicting a favorite scene, event or relationship from the content (or a scene you completely make up!). It can be realistic or a little bit exaggerated and surreal, but no matter what we'll plan and draft out the idea together until you're happy with it first.

You have Werewolf by Night characters you want drawn together? Go for it. I’ll do shippy entanglements too (though please note of the two this is my explicitly Gen, Teen, Mature auction. If you want explicit art check out my other art auction. You want Clint/Bucky/Nat? Sure, I can do that. Jake/Steven/Marc? I can do that too. Sam and Bucky and Zemo? I can do that.

I’ll draw whoever you like, just throw it at me, and if this art auction zips up super high from here (say $300?) I’m happy to draw, say, up to six people, like a proper Avengers cover or movie poster. Whatever you want.

Auction three is also offering a full page illustration (or a single page comic) but I offered to make it explicit and I guess appeared to limit it to specific characters and ships, which was a mistake I think.

At this point this auction would be a great bargain if you wanted to add some extra art to a fic auction you were buying, but I just want to be clear that it doesn’t have to be explicit, and I’m happy to offer all the same fandoms as my other art auction, and unlock all the same character options if that means drawing in more bids. I will happily draw a nice gen comic of She-Hulk and and her lawyer friends drinking together or Alpine visiting the other Avengers for petting if that’s what you want. But also if you really want just filthy Stuckony for an entire page I’ll happily draw that too, and what’s more if this auction somehow goes up over $200 I’m offering to include a 2k-5k ficlet backing up the art in some way, shape or form. Maybe writing. Maybe poetry. I just don’t know, but y’all will have to bid on this auction to find out.

I accept podbids, am happy to have my auction given as a gift to a friend (completed or from the very beginning) and donations can go to any charity of your choice from the list of approved organizations. Plus if you really want it as a gift for Christmas, I’ve left a space open in my schedule to make that possible for you (though if you don’t mind waiting that’s also awesome too!).
