Not entirely happy (mostly unhappy with that depth of field finger on the top left), ran out of time for the mitre and the no eraser rule was really tough today (30mins, 1 mechanical pencil, no eraser)

IT TOOK 5000 YEARS (just over a week)

BUT IT IS DONE, I NOW OWN A BANEFUL FOX MASK OF MY OWN!!

And its WEARABLE~!!!

It's not perfect by any means, but I'm so glad I stuck through it and completed this side project! With all the troubles I had in the beginning with terrible air drying clay disintegrating the next morning, and it making the mask super heavy to wear, to figuring out any other methods to do it over again, to Tears of the Kingdom taking over my life (affectionately), it was a learning curve I haven't had to deal with in ages XD

But it only took about a week, and tbh that's really fast in hindsight! All I used to make this was modeling foam, a cheap blank plastic kitty mask as the base, cheap dollarstore acrylic paints, and even cheaper dollarstore yellow tinted sunglasses lenses that I popped out of the frames. I'm gonna add some fabric on the inside of the mask later to make it more comfy to wear, but that's for another day. For now this is gonna be a wall decoration in my room~

Thank you to folks in the chain of the WIP of this mask who gave me ideas to help bring this back from fhe brink of failure! It means a lot folks were hyped to see this through to the end!!

#thats it thats the post thats all ive got #there is an image of his normally pale face flushed #all the angles standing out with each brilliant curve illuminated from the warm glow #sweat soaked hair clinging to his forehead as his normally playful mask is slipping #tongue peeking out through his teeth as he sucks in sharp breaths trying to retain what little control he has left #the world around him starting to feel a bit further away #he can't seem to quite focus enough to pick individual shapes out from the masses #im so out of my mind right now but i just cant stop thinking about this #if i could draw better... you better believe i would be drawing this...#i might do it anyways but unlikely because the image is so pure in my head and i dont want to dirty it #ANYWAYS im posting this here because uhhhhh well honestly because i just need to say it somewhere its rotting my soul

i’ve got the stuff *i shadily look around me and pull a container of neon pink hair dye from the depths of my very cute jacket and slide it across the counter and the cashier rings me up and says nothing because they’re not paid enough for this shit*

#getting my hair dyed tomorrow yippee #this pink glows under black lights :)#it’s very cool #i’ve never done my whole head w it i think last time i used it i did my undercut + roots and had the rest highlighter yellow #it was def a look #tho this time i will not be doing my undercut that shit is so annoying i haven’t done it in years #love pink it’s a great color i haven’t done it in a hot minute though #i’m cutting it close but i really need the color before the semester starts so i can go clown-mode before i lose the momentum #i was born to be a clown i was also born to have everyone look at my in awe because i look great and it’s hard w/o the colored hair #also i have a resting bitch face and the mask helps but the hair helps even more. when it’s bright people will like. actually talk to me #so many people ask me for directions. much more than when i didn’t dye my hair #i think the bright colors make people think i’m friendly which is nice #i’m not like. unfriendly i just kinda mind my own business unless i’m in the mood for mischief #in which case the color doesn’t help but who cares. i’m here to clown about and ignore my sorrows and the pink helps :)

wanted to draw burntrap before going to bed. failing cause looking at his model im only thinking about his canonicity and the lore again...

#his ass is Not drawing #i dont know how much longer i can hold onto the thought that hes partially canon as in ggy saw him thats why he drew him #but it was more like the mimic and less a corpse but. you know #everything aside its a cool design and i dig the flesh growing over the endo and stuff #his face looks a bit goofy from the side without a lower jaw mask but every other angle is cool #and like the... eyes glowing magenta instead of orange... people saying hes not the mimic are onto something #well my mind is only being changed after the foxy mask #basically i thought hey different endo? can still be the same character (burnt. and mimic) since roxy had a different endo now #and now they confirmed it as a mask so. hm #also to the eyes. if glitchtrap is magenta and mimic orange. but glitch = mimic. then burntrap = mimic. and people disagree #same thing as saying mxes is glitchtrap but glitchtrap is also mimic and mimic and mxes arent the same. oh naur!#well. mimic and glitchtrap and burntrap are all separate and theyre all making out right now

hrrrnnng... what if... shapeshifting creature.... that changes into the most dangerous thing it can sense that's nearby....

#actually I might do that with that alien thing I made a while back #the shapeshifting isn't perfect tho. so like masks aren't actually masks. if it turns into Jason Voorhees the mask is just it's face #it also can't mimic something like say. acid blood or glowing green blood. the teeth will always be sharp (with omnivorous teeth in the bac #it'll also collect some memories of the thing it's copying #and this is all as a defense mechanism. even though it's normal form is big enough grab a human with only the legs sticking out of the mout #eyes will also be the wrong color. its normal eye colors are green blue red orange yellow and purple. one color for each eye #anyways. imagine something that looks like micheal myers digging through the garbage and then staring at you with bright green and blue eye #and then it opens its mouth and it's all sharp teeth #churchy talks #churchy tag rambles
