#glitches are survivors of dead worlds
But, like, what *are* the glitches?
[February 1 2023]
{Mitzi:}
time to talk about a recent revelation:
I Know What The Glitches Are
{Krizste:}
go on///
{Trollkitten:}
rubs hands together and chuckles evilly
{Mitzi:}
like, i should have asked this question before, shouldn’t i. they’ve been a big part of tpp for almost as long as i’ve been into tpp, but i never really thought about, like, what they were
where they came from, why they exist, why they’re Like That
i think i just unconsciously assumed they were errors in the construction of reality or something, and never paid them much heed
but then haji said a thing, and i started connecting dots
some metaphysical background. every universe has its own rules, yeah? works in slightly different ways, has slightly different game mechanics physical laws
glitchiness - the effect the glitches have on the world, as distinct from the glitchstuff itself - is what happens when you try to run software from universe a on universe b’s system, and that might not even be a metaphor
things just… don’t work quite the same way, and the glitchy entity/effect is constantly bashing into the universe, trying to work through its rules and just failing. it can be as minor as a weirdly-coloured object, but if the contrast is bad enough, you get missingno
so like, whenever someone goes out wandering the multiverse and visits a reality other than their own… they’re a little glitchy. odd numbers of fingers, wrongly-pitched voices, things like that
but it’s never, like, too bad, at least around the pokemultiverse where realities tend to run on pretty similar lines. and it usually wears off, too, as the universe and its visitor get used to each other
or if you’re bullshit omnipotent like the voices you could just whack the universe until it works the way you want it to, but they’re an exception to literally everything
so long as you’re coming from a world of your own, you can usually reach an accord
s o l o n g a s y o u ‘ r e c o m i n g f r o m a w o r l d o f y o u r o w n
because, see, here’s the thing about the void between the universes. it devours
it eats away at everything that passes through it - it eats away at the voices, that’s how overpowering it is. spend enough time in the void, and you’ll gradually slip away
all the rules that used to define you just… disappear. it gets harder and harder to fit into - any reality, there’s so much less of you than the world expects
{Trollkitten:}
ooooo
{Newbie:}
...i think i see where you're going with this 👀
{Mitzi:}
sometimes you can claw your way up the table of pokenuclides into an acceptable self again, but more often than not you get swept away by the tides of dex number radioactivity
it’s fairly easy to ward off void decay if you spend enough time in - any world, but your homeworld is best. you were made according to the rules of your native reality, and you’ll always fit into those best
but what if your world
doesn’t exist anymore?
the glitches are shadows of dead realities
seeping into others, they try desperately to take form, but more often than not, they just bring the void in with them
put too many glitches in a reality and it’ll break from the strain. another world will fall into nothingness, and whatever survivors will start to lose themselves too
all they can do is try to latch onto another world - and it’ll all happen again
different clusters of glitches have different sources. the initial bout of glitches in the tppverse - associated with OLDEN, made the glitchhaze - are the last remnants of wing and thorax’s world
the reality might still exist, but - like, even the atmosphere’s chemistry is totally different. they try to push in, to bring the world back to what they knew - and the oxygenated blue-skied world will not let them, fuck yeah the wing-and-thorax stuff is now relevant to tpp
(as to how they came back into quote-unquote existence… look. amber would never accept a world where the fossil gods were trapped in the pc forever)
(they let a few things slip to cyrus in s1!platinum and are thus personally responsible for 90% of their own problems all the way up to omega ruby)
but the current crop of glitches… they’re not from that collective
the last few seasons, my lore has been full of universes blowing up and being rebooted, culminating in the big multiversal reset in pla
the new multiverse is a much less… troubled place, on the surface, so far. but despite the best efforts of the hosts…
there are still traces
And That’s Why Forrest Is Like That (angry)
{Newbie:}
...i see
{Mitzi:}
for something i bashed together over the past couple of months this is fitting into my pre-existing lore surprisingly well
it’s tying things together. gives me a reason to still care about the glitches
thank you for bearing with me while i took over the channel
{Newbie:}
no problem :LUL:
this is... fascinating for me
{Trollkitten:}
I really like your theorem on what the glitches are and where they come from
{Mitzi:}
but seriously this is giving me… ideas about certain non-voice legacy characters
feels like a way to bring in The Consequences Of The Hosts’ Actions, which is where my lore’s been trending lately anyway
turns out, you can’t just overwrite your problems
{Trollkitten:}
yeah
{Haji:}
What did I say??? :OMEGALUL: I've been on a ramble most of the day, I honestly can't remember
{Mitzi:}
i think you asked me something weeks ago about wing and thorax’s legendaries, and it set fireworks off in my brain
{Haji:}
Ah :tppPika:
Oh my. Yeah I remember now
{Mitzi:}
i think i went, like, ‘actually that connection does make sense’ and then ‘hey wait what if all the glitches are remnants of wing and thorax’s world’ and then ‘that would explain so much of why OLDEN is like that’ and then i kept going from there
evan mourns for the happiness he lost, the god bits of OLDEN mourn for the world they destroyed
… did i ever say that OLDEN is a fusion between evan, the bits of wing and thorax that didn’t end up in amber, and a whole lot of glitchstuff that might well be the same thing actually? well, IT is
{Haji:}
Y'know? I don't think so
{Mitzi:}
it’s a story but i need to go to bed
yeah this was secretly a section of mitzi won’t shut up about the fossil gods, part 5 the whole time
coupla endnotes!
- ultra space isn’t the void between universes. it’s… more like a corridor? a path between worlds, not void itself, which is why necrozma could use it to build an interdimensional empire
- the distortion world, on the other hand…
- phancero is… one of those glitches that decayed into a real pokemon, with a little help from the voices. the last remnant of the glitchhaze, finally made real
{Haji:}
I've been playing with this…
"So let me get straight. The Glitches we've been facing were already a living, consistent problem we'll have to deal with in Abe's world?"
There were a few giggles at the Slowbro since they had left that subject a few subjects back. Still, Rhianna decided to indulge Rocket with an answer. "I actually don't know. Maybe? They seem to be related, but the Fae we dealt with were like a human catch-all term for anything they couldn't explain. Letter shaped creatures and stretches of number carvings you couldn't walk past, people getting trapped by sentient buildings, and that's not even getting into things like the walking skeletons. A lot of stuff was brushed off as hallucinations brought on by "Fae Magic" but I don't know much of anything about this "other world" business to know if any of this stuff happened in his world."
Gen I glitches are.... Fun
Somewhat related, I like to imagine Phancero came to Kay with intent (we faced it twice iirc?) that if he was brave and strong enough to master it, he's retained his powers over the Void to safely go wherever. He's the latest Glitch King because there must always be a Glitch King
Phancero itself is only a fraction of Olden's real power, but much like the Fossils often serves as a good consistent vessel
(because the gods aren't actually the Fossils we know, it's just how they most often appear)
{Mitzi:}
… damn i’ve really been neglecting What’s Phanchy Up To These Days as a lore plot thread
[And what does this mean for Kahuna Moon?]
{Trollkitten:}
So... if Kahuna Moon lost her world... is she glitched?
that could explain a lot
{Newbie:}
Moon has Zygarde and Necrozma with her so i think she's protected... for now
{Mitzi:}
personally i’m going with her starting to glitch and having a really anime plan to stop it from happening
‘i will resurrect my world!’ ‘doesn’t that literally always backfire’ ‘i’ll do it!’
{Newbie:}
so this goes from just manic grief to manic grief coupled with an underlaying self-preservation instinct 🤔
this probably explains the "shadow boys" we saw in Star

Sith Ahsoka AU where Ezra doesn't come get Ahsoka in the World Between Worlds (or misses her maybe) and so Ahsoka and Anakin fall through the Sith Battlestation. Ahsoka's connection with Mortis and the Daughter combined with the exploding power of the Sith Battlestation end up glitching and backfiring on Anakin when he tries to kill Ahsoka and he dies instead, while Ahsoka lives but only just.
Palpatine arrives on Malachor to pick up Anakin's pieces and put him back together again only to discover he's too late this time. But Ahsoka is lying there on her last breath, broken enough both physically and mentally to succumb to Palpatine's torture and manipulations and powerful enough to be worth the effort. Yes, she'd make a workable replacement for this loss. And of course everyone who knew her thinks she's dead, so they're not going to come looking for her or try to save her until Palpatine's work is done and he's prepared to present his new and improved apprentice, Darth Malis, to the galaxy.
Ahsoka doesn't re-appear until shortly after the Rebels finale, after Kanan's died and Ezra's disappeared, but still before the events of Rogue One. The plans still make it to Leia and everyone on Scarif dies, but this time it's Ahsoka on the Death Star, capturing Leia and waiting when Obi-Wan arrives with Luke and Han.
And Obi-Wan isn't expecting her at all. He'd been able to feel that Anakin died, but certainly had no way of knowing that Ahsoka had even survived Order 66 let alone that she'd been captured by Palpatine and tortured into becoming his new Sith Apprentice in Anakin's place. He wasn't expecting Anakin to be waiting anymore, but the last thing he could've expected was Ahsoka. He's so glad she's alive, but this is the worst way to discover that fact, and it's a little difficult to be calm in the face of this revelation.
Thankfully, Ahsoka's not expecting Obi-Wan, either. Palpatine, knowing how Anakin had obsessed over hunting Obi-Wan down and banking on Ahsoka thinking no one would ever come to save her or care for her again as a way to break her, had kept that tidbit of information from her. So Ahsoka is just as surprised to see Obi-Wan alive as he is to see her, and she's incapable of doing anything to keep her emotions from controlling her anymore. She's still powerful, and faster than Anakin was, but she's still living on life support of some kind and Obi-Wan's got more practice at handling this kind of grief and pain, giving him the upper hand in the battle. So when Luke and Leia show up, Obi-Wan doesn't need to sacrifice himself to keep them safe, he can overpower Ahsoka and run back to the Falcon with the others.
Most everything stays the same, because the Emperor figures out who Luke is and still wants him as an apprentice instead because Ahsoka is broken and Luke is more powerful. Obi-Wan is able to bring Luke and Leia to Yoda years earlier, so they both get trained up together (and they know that they're siblings the whole time). A few more Jedi survivors show up to help the Rebellion while Obi-Wan, Luke, and Leia are on Dagobah: Reva, Quinlan, Cal, Kata Akuna, Ezra (who is miraculously found prior to ROTJ because I want him there, maybe my man was resourceful and got himself back sans Thrawn all on his own).
When they finally make it to Endor, Obi-Wan and Leia stay on the ground to help the Rebellion while the others all go to confront the Sith with Luke. Luke strikes the final blow against the Emperor and the Rebellion takes out the shield around the Death Star, throwing everything up there into chaos. Ahsoka flees and they all have to give chase. Luke and Reva try to offer her a chance to change, to come back with them, to heal. Ahsoka doesn't take it, and the next time the Death Star is hit, she lets herself fall deep into the Death Star's mass.
Quinlan offers to be the one to tell Obi-Wan that Ahsoka didn't make it. Obi-Wan mourns, but he's also already mourned her. He could tell that there was very little of the girl he'd known left in the monster Palpatine had made of her. She'd rejoined the Force now and she was at peace. He wished she could have found healing and known how much she was loved before she died, but he can't begrudge her this choice, especially since the choice to kill Darth Malis brought the reign of the Sith to its end and restored balance in the Force.

y’know what’s really interesting about last night’s episode is that it really revealed the BIGGEST flaw that bells hells has as a party:
they don’t fucking trust each other enough. or rather, they don’t trust themselves.
sure, they have the “you can have my back, you can save my life, you can heal me and switch places with me in a fight, you can head into danger and come out just fine” trust because if they didnt, they wouldn’t have made it this far. literally.
but they’re all so fucking careful when it comes to their suspicions! chet never says anything to anyone about dusk, orym doesn’t say shit about reading chet’s and dusk’s lips, imogen doesn’t say boo about not being able to read dusk’s mind. it’s not that they don’t think the others aren’t capable, but more like “if i don’t get all my ducks in a row no one will believe me” which!! is so much. to think about.
because when it’s said like that it’s not like they don’t trust one another, it’s more like they DON’T TRUST THEMSELVES individually! which makes so much sense! ashton got betrayed by ppl they thought they knew better than anyone else in the world, FCG finds out someone they thought was dead is actually alive and never bothered to get them back and they’re also fucking glitching more and more often and he finds out not only did dancer not make them but also they are MUCH MUCH older than anything or anyone else they’ve ever met (pre divergence BABY aeor is for LOVERS nd robits), imogen was a hermit in her own fucking home bc no one wanted to be around the girl who could get into your head (not like she had a choice sometimes) and she doesn’t trust herself not to somehow cross lines with people whether that be on accident or on purpose, laudna licherally spent 30 years post-death being ousted from town to town because people found her a freak and a witch and has a DEAD NECROMANCER WHO KILLED HER IN HER HEAD, fearne is slowly coming to realization that her parents maybe weren’t sending her post cards all those years and that her life really wasn’t all it was cracked up to be and her memory is a little fucky (that feywild shit, huh), orym still probably feels residual survivor’s guilt in being unable to protect the one person who really truly mattered to him and sees it as a failing in himself rather than just something that happened, chet is a werewolf who literally gets run out of towns because of what he is and he could literally lose control if he’s too hurt or out of it and hurt someone else (as seen w orym)
like they’re so...aware of the trust they have for one another, but because they don’t trust themselves, they never SAY SHIT bc they’re always second guessing their suspicions which is so fascinating to watch; they don’t trust themselves enough to follow their instincts to trust one another even moreso. they’ve all got like folie a deaux but it’s mass imposter syndrome instead.
and it’s not like dusk knew that abt the bells, but it worked so well in dusk’s favor bc even if it was an 11th hour realization and discovery for the pc’s who did start to get suspicious, it would have been enough time to maybe do something. but they DIDN’T and it kinda doomed them!
after this i hope they get more...confident in their own capabilities. or at least learn to trust their own guts without needing confirmation or waiting for all the chips to land. sometimes, you just gotta listen to the sirens in ur head because that’s the part of u that wants u to survive no matter what.
dusk says a lot of shit and idk how much was truth laced with the sweetness of lies you wanna hear, but they got one thing fucking right. bells hells are special. and they gotta realize it before it really lands them in hotter fucking water.

What if Miles didn't save his dad and his universe collapsed anyway.
It'd happen so fast, one minute he's rushing to his dad and the next he's sprawled across the ground, shoved off course by someone.
(Miguel is an option but I like the idea it's just some random Spiderman.)
Miles 'canon' events happens but his universe still glitches, half of it falling into the Spot's holes as it does as the villain becomes more and more unstable.
1610 collapses in front of everyone, swallowed up by the ever growing pitch black holes, leaving only Miles Morales as it's lone survivor.
to say the boy would be a mess, would be more than an understatement, it wouldn't even come close enough to smell, let alone touch, the way Miles is feeling. but he wouldn't just be sad or gutted or hopeless or even broken after losing everything; he'd be angry.
if he allowed himself to be dragged from the glitching, fading rubble of his now barren dimension, he would rip HQ apart, piece by piece. he'd scream and cry and break down, his abilities turned up to 110, his electricity flowing out him without any control, lashing out at anyone who tried to invade his space, let alone tried to touch him or stop him.
I think he would come pretty close to taking down Miguel, he'd defiantly pin him, using his enhanced reflexes and sheer surprise to get the upper hand, before just snapping. he'd let loose on Miguel, physically yes, but he would scream at him. he'd shove his stupid canon theory back into his face, begging for an explanation; if he was supposed to let his dad die, if he was forced to, than why did he lose everything anyway?
he'd leave Miguel bloody, even in his fury, he won't kill him, he can't do it, but he will make him suffer. he wants answers, he wants so many answers, answers to questions he doesn't even know he has, and he needs Miguel for those.
once he burns up his anger and cries out his sadness, he's left numb and empty, frequently returning to his dimension to sit amongst what little remains of his home. it doesn't really hit him at first that everything is gone, he knows it is, but he just can't accept it, his mom, his dad, Ganke, his friends, the cashier at the bodega, all of them, they can't be gone. he didn't even get to say goodbye.
part of him knows, deep down, that he should have saved his dad, he should have been allowed to try, that they would be here if he had just gotten to try. call it insanity, desperate attempts at coping, grasping at straws, spidey senses, intuition, some higher intervention and knowledge, he has no fucking idea, he just knows, and it only fuels his anger.
he stops coming out of his "room" at HQ, stops letting people in, not even Pav and Hobie who have never wronged him, who were always on his side, let alone the others, who at one point or another abandoned him or saddled against him. he stops in general, stops eating, stops sleeping, stops trying to distract his mind with things like music. he loses it a few more times, tearing up whatever furniture he had been given to make up for his lack of a home, before turning to laying on the floor, looking up at the blank ceiling for hours, ignoring any of the desperate pleas from outside his door.
he cringes when he realizes he's just becoming Miguel. he ignores the thought. tries to at least.
he lies there and withers away until he can no longer fight the others off, till he's forced to let them take care of him, forced to listen to their apologies and their "it'll be ok"'s. he honestly doesn't care; everything that ever truly mattered to him is gone or tainted, he's lost his world, his people, his family, he lost his friends, he lost his purpose. he just floats through life, accepting that he's just gonna turn into someone like Miguel, cold and closed off, not really living, but not dead, and he's "ok" with that, more so, he doesn't have the care nor energy to be more than that anymore. he accepts his fate, for once, cause its clear that trying to do anything else only get him and the people he loves hurt.

Sector 6348's organic massacre incident
Masterlist
The starship Lost Light, coming from the cybertronian colony of Divisiun after a stop for supplies, enters the external domain of sector 6348, the main reason the starship was granted access was due to search of cultural important reliquaries that could be found in the sector, the council of Cybertron and the other worlds agreed under it.
Official note: no one dared to think what would happen there, this is the recorded data from survivors (most were willingly given in order to have it erased from their databanks permanently) and records in audio and video made by the main computer of the Lost Light.
17 days before the attack
Systems seem to be normal, reports come in order, there is usual relegation of energon supplied to both bars aboard, the upgrade in the detailing bay is running smoothly, human necessary organic resources as food, water, and so more are stocked to last another 5 years in space.
Note: the first contact with the enemies signal lasted only 0.0007 clicks, the computer registered it as a glitch, a dead signal of a strange race or a malfunction, for precaution measures made by the former director of security, Red Alert, both captains and second in command were given a notification about it, the reruns showed no problems.
It is expected that the virus entered the main computer in this first interaction with the ship of former cybertronian mercenaries and illegal merchants.
3 days before the attack
Two humans in charge of the green houses in level 5 and 6 reported a little malfunction in the solar shields above said zones, nothing how the plants withered.
The shields were still in good condition as confirmed by the engineers aboard, pointing to a malfunction originated from the main systems, security reruns were made but there was nothing out of the ordinary except for solar shield malfunction.
The archaeological team is preparing their equipment before the arrival to the abandoned cybertronian settlement with co-captain Rodimus Prime as the head.
1 day before the attack
The archaeological team is displayed in the zone with exosuits to survive the zero atmosphere of the zone, co-captain Rodimus Prime and second in command Ultra Magnus go with the team and a few guard bots to the surface with a pod, co-captain Megatron stays aboard.
The glitch reappears as soon as the pod has exited fast response perimeter of the starship Lost Light, the team proceeded warily.
Initiation of the attack on the surface
Most of the bots are neutralized, most of the remaining ones try to take them to safety and take away the human in the crossed fire.
First human lose: main cartographer, Edgard Larsen, first generation of humans aboard the Lost Light, died at age of 76 earth years old by the enemy's fire.
Second human lose: Sophia Whitaker, first generation of humans aboard the Lost Light, died at age of 53 earth years old by the enemy's-
Third human lose: Trudy Gutiérrez Zhou, first generation of humans aboard the Lost Light died at age of 54-
Fourth human lose: Constantine Kone, first generation of humans aboard the Lost Light died-
Fifth human lose:-
Sixth human-
Seventh-
Eight-
Note: the team had eight humans in total, apart from crew member Larsen who died by the enemy's fire, all other members died by sheer pressure from the enemy while they tried to catch them.
No enemy seemed to ever have seen or interacted directly with a human before, as none seemed to know how much pressure was needed to hold them.
2 hours before collision
"It's time for school, kids!"
"Why can't we go outside to the ruins?"
"Ask your teacher, darling, you must be old and strong for that and don't do something stupid"
The human infants aboard the starship concentrate in the class room, co-captain Megatron tries to link a steadier connection with the team out of the starship and chooses to rise precaution measures in and out the starship, canceling classes for the time being.
The "pair buddies" protection practice is required for the time being.
"Is something wrong?"
"What? no, no, maybe he is a little worried of Rodimus and the whole team out there, you know how Megatron gets".
"Um, yeah, guess you're right Tailgate, and now that we must be together we should go get Cyclonus, Whirl and their buddies too".
"Right, Whirl isn't that thrilled with his".
"He can say whatever he wants, I know he has a soft spot for Matthew".
1 hour before the collision
"Can someone explain to me why we can receive messages from Cybertron but we can't connect with Rodimus' team a few hours away from us?"
"The communication devices are running without problems, it must be theirs".
"It wouldn't be that strange coming from him, but Ultra Magnus is there with them for that same reason, he must have backup with him".
"He did, but nothing, you can't get a word out of it, but..."
"But?"
"Their attempts to contact us are growing, like a lot, sir"
"Prepare a pod, I'm sending a team to retrieve them"
"But Captain Rodimus-"
"I have a bad feeling about this Tripodeca, Rodimus and his wishes can wait, and if he has a word to give I'll talk to him"
An emergency pod is prepared, systems reboot and the hangar doesn't open to let the team outside.
6 minutes before the collision
"We have response from the team on the surface!"
"Rodimus, what happened, is everything alright?"
"Lost- bzzz we lost- bzzz they killed- bzzz Megatron please!"
4 minutes before collision
"Is it my idea or is getting a little difficult to breath here?"
"Don't say, maybe the atmosphere parameters are weird again?"
"Ugh, what is left today? Really, let's go to the living units, the atmosphere shouldn't be bad there"
"Got it, Rewind, are you comin' with us?
"Sure, I wanted to see Trudy and Rebecca's new baby anyway"
"Oh, little Lilly, cute face, nasty cries"
3 minutes before the collision
"Who died? What's happening there? Rodimus!"
"Run- bzzz -st run!"
"Engines in disposition, right now!"
"But we can't leave-!"
"We must preserve the non combative crew members aboard!"
"The engines and motors doesn't answer, sir! The general alerts are dead!"
"-You must run away NOW!"
1 minute before collision
"Has anyone seen the kids?"
"It's getting strange out of the living units, should we go for them?".
"Bah, they're with Sunset last I saw them, so no problems with that"
"Where did you see them?"
"In the classroom, nothing better to do in deep space I guess-"
Note: the first invaders touched the surface of the external protection of the Lost Light.
"What was that?"
"Rewind?"
Note: Crew member Rewind was with his pair buddie Francisco Nikolov, recording the new born baby Lilly Díaz Gutiérrez.
He didn't stop recording.
13 seconds before collision
"Run"
"What?"
"We all must run now!"
0.34 seconds before collision
"The roof, the roof is opening, the freaking roof is-!"
"Fran! FRAN TAKE MY SERVO-!
"REWIND!"
Note: the external structure of the Lost Light has been breached, external shields aren't working so the invaders enter without problems to the humans living areas.
Note: the invaders didn't have in mind that by the inability to form the shields the calculated pressure and atmosphere control inside would be nonexistent and dragged out everything in between to deep space.
Crew members Rewind, Jackpot, Inferno, Aquastar, Hoist, Crosshairs and Steeljaw were witness to the dead of at least 68 percent of the human population aboard the Lost Light after being exposed to deep space; adults, children and infants died in the first collision.
Crew members Bluestreak, Thunderclash, Misfire and Lancet were also dragged out of the starship, they tried to save the humans already out in deep space, their intentions were futile and they were stranded outside of the starship for at least 45 minutes, it was specifically difficult to save crew member Lancet since he put opposition to let go of some human corpses.
"We need to get back, buddy"
"No, no, Argie and Maggie can't be alone, I can't leave them here!"
"We must go back now!"
"Misfire, please, they're new sparks!"
"I know, I know, I'm so sorry"
"Why, Primus, why?"
All attempts from the bots in the area were futile to stop the first tragedy.
2 minutes after the unauthorized boarding
Co-captain Megatron takes the defensive as the best countermeasure, trying to stop the income of more invaders, giving the order to keep the non combative crew members aboard in the community salon, now last stand of the Lost Light, some other refuge in the med bay.
Many try to get to any of the places, few really get to safety.
Note: Due to the atmosphere parameters and motors the breach in the starship's structure keeps getting worse.
10 minutes after the unauthorized boarding.
"Sunny, you must get out of here"
"I don't wanna, everyone is shouting!"
"Sunny, please we all must get out, the other kids already left with aunty Mary and are in their way to Megatron"
"No! Where is dad?"
"Sunset Eve, get out of there before I-!"
"Oh, there is a human in here!"
"Wait, I want this one"
"No fair I found it first"
"Don't drag it like that! You're going to rip it in half!"
"Why is it shouting like-?!"
"Okay, okay, all yours"
"Ugh, frag, I've all it's insides in my servo!"
"I don't want this thing!"
Note: second teacher Mary Arana was still in the door waiting for the last two remaining in the classroom, she choose to leave with the remaining kids after seeing the exchange, she died after getting the kids to safety with co-captain Megatron in the community salon due to broken ribs that punctured her right lung.
17 minutes after the unauthorized boarding.
"Primus, please, oh please, stop!"
"Tell us then, where are the little ones?"
"Get your digits off her, you're breaking her, please!"
"Don't say a word, 'Tide! Don't say anything!"
"At least the mode lock keeps him from bitting, humans and their obnoxiously easy to use gadgets"
"Tell me where you hide them"
"Nova, Nova! Please, Primus, oh Primus, her neck, please stop! Her neck! Her neck!"
"it's that all you've to say? I heard his model was short in the brain processor but this is ridiculous-"
"Ripti-!"
"..."
"Agh, slag, I've her fuel all over my servo-"
"...Nova?"
"We told you to not break them! How do we sell this one now, uh?"
"...answer me, please"
"I don't know, there are freaks that want to eat these things"
"Oh, you're right!"
"NOVA!"
"Will you shut him up? We have to find the organic pups"
"NOVA!"
Junior engineer, Nova Moretti, second generation of humans aboard the Lost Light, first to be born aboard, died at age of 29 earth years old by extreme damage on her neck and head due to pressure.
Note: Almost all the cybertronians aboard were neutralized with mode locks made by the human organization of Skywatch, intended to control and prevent dangerous cybertronians from damaging humans.
The organization kept on their statement that they have never given their technology to other cybertronians, but the paperwork showed that they were indeed selling them to the public.
The organization was closed and charged by legal means from the Tyrest's accord and the UN security council (investigation was performed in the UN since there was data signaling they also used the artifacts and knew of the uncontrolled distribution, but no charges were given by lack of more solid evidence).
20 minutes after the unauthorized boarding.
"Teacher! Teacher!"
"You all must stay behind me, you hear me, Tach?!"
"Teacher, Sunset isn't okay, his mama was bleeding in the classroom!"
"Where si Sunset?!"
Note: Most of the crew members are restrained with mode locks, only a few that have war frames can still keep fighting back with their own guns, among them is co-captain Megatron that tried to keep shooting despite the inhibition of the mode lock, burning his own spark by the sheer force used to even move.
The Lost Light sent a final rescue signal before loosing the communication room.
Note: the breach reaches the second hangar and the communication room, human liaison Taylor Palma with crew members Ming Nguyên, Blaster, Siren and Sunstreaker are also dragged to outer space after successfully sending an S.O.S. signal to Cybertron and the cybertronian colony of Divisiun, both humans died at the contact to outer space due to low temperatures.
"Blaster"
"It's okay, it's okay lil' buddies"
"Blaster, please, they can't breathe in your dock, this is space"
"I've some oxygen in there, I'm sure"
"Please, just stop"
"I got ya', Ming, I got your back, doll face"
37 minutes after the unauthorized boarding.
"Ratchet! First Aid! Help me! Help us! Marina has problems breathing!", Crew member Swerve comes along with Grapple and Highbrow, all of them have humans that seem to be treated like dolls, one of them is missing an arm, two have broken ribs the rest can hardly breath for different reasons.
"Put them in the oxygen chamber!", Chief Medical officer First Aid and former chief medical officer Ratchet have made a fort in the med bay, crew member Drift, Perceptor and Grimlock are guarding the perimeter, crew member Grimlock and Perceptor were attacked with mode locks, but still keep on fighting, crew member Brainstorm and Nautica are under repair as they were trying to open hangar two to get the survivors out.
48 minutes after the unauthorized boarding.
"Teacher, the roof is opening!"
"Tach, I want to you to get everyone inside my alt mode, like we practiced in case of emergencies!"
"Your door isn't opening!"
"Tach, Amelie! You must run to-!"
Note: the breach reached the community salon, the last human survivors in the are also dragged to outer space with some cybertronians trying to stop the inevitable.
Note: The starship goes in general malfunction, the engines stop their work to prevent an overheating and explosion.
Note: After 1 hour the invaders were driven away, they took some humans corpses with them as all the main population was killed in the extraction process, those same corpses were found in organic markets later on.
Other human starships were attacked in other sectors, around the same week, with the same result.
After at least one hour everything was over the pod of co-captain Rodimus could return to hangar one, what was left of it, in a dangerous attempt.
He confirms the death of 96 percent of the human population aboard, the remaining survivors in the med bay are in a comatose state due to multiple injuries.
He confirms the dead of his own conjunx among the casualties.
Co-captain Rodimus Prime enters a comatose state, co-captain Megatron takes the lead of the Lost Light with second in command Ultra Magnus, starting the repairs to return to safety, all the members in space are retrieved, with the basic repairs they get in contact with Divisiun.
The last human survivor of the Lost Light, gardener assistant Amy Petrova, third generation of humans aboard the Lost Light, died at age of 18 earth years old by multiple injuries caused by pressing servos on her thorax in the cybertronian colony of Divisiun.

any lore you've wanted o share but haven't had an excuse to yet relating to ur aus? :3
OH BOY DO I?!!
Strap ur selfves in, cause I got a lot of lore I wanna talk about :D
(I’ll be sticking to my main 6 tho cause I got way too many aus lmao)
General Lore:
Barrierfall:
Barrierfall is my angstiest AU as many of you know, what some people don’t know however, is that it’s also one of my only True Pacifist a Surface AUs (which kinda makes the fact that all but 3 die sadder but meh)
Magic in this AU is more of a solid thing, it’s why Monsters can create Magical Attacks and Magical food, and in the AU, instead of loosing the ability to use magic, Humans just loose the ability to cast magic themselves and instead have to use items to channel the magic they naturally produce (which is why the items left over by the other human souls have magical aspects)
In Barrierfall Monsters can freely use magic but can’t create it as easily, and Humans create it but can’t use it, this was originally a symbiosis the two species had before the war,
But being locked underground means the monsters were slowly using up all their magic resources, weakening their magic, this is why Frisk has the Reset ability, because they’re not fighting any other magic,
But with the monsters underground, the Humans have a whole lot of magic build up that they’re not using.
So, what happens if you break a window in a submarine?
All the pressure of the water floods in and the sub implodes,
Now, what happens if you break a barrier that’s been stopping any of the magic getting into a basically magic-less cavern?? What happens when a tiny lightbulb is compared to the sun? What happens when a drop of determination is compared to a world of magic??
In other words, here’s the answer to your question everyone who’s been asking why the underground falls and why the reset button is destroyed :D
Spoketale:
The residents of Spoketale know they’re in a game, they’re not supposed to, but when your player is a hacker a few glitches can occur.
386 neutral runs, with various hacking/glitches, Player is curious about how far they can push the characters before something changes, they have however, never done a Genocide or Pacifist route, these glitches can be minor things like; switching item pickups (this is an important lore point to Spoke himself), GodModing and taking no damage, to more impactful glitches,
Like, let’s say… deleting entire characters?? Spoke was right, his papyrus isn’t dead (:
But a side effect of all the glitches is different characters gaining awareness, the story of Spoketale actually takes place where Sans meets Player at the ruins to distract them and buy Alphys and Undyne time to evacuate the underground because they know about the resets and Player (it’s also where Spoke gets the crack in his skull)
Idletale:
If you’ve read the prologue of my fic for Idletale you’ll probably have pieced this together already, but Idletale is set in an AU where Gaster tried to create fake human souls (similar to Handplates) by taking a 16th of a human soul and injecting it into a Host’s soul, after various tests it’s found that a single trait being injected will just overwhelm the soul and kill the host, but with two human traits they cancel each other out allowing the 3 souls to synergies
The three survivors of these tests are Sans (Idle) Papyrus and Undyne,
Sans getting Patients and Justice
Papyrus getting Bravery and Integrity
Undyne getting Kindness and Perseverance
All of them are able to summon the items attributed to the soul traits (yes Idle can summon a gun whenever he wants and yes it’s a horrible idea- who let him do this-)
Another side effect of these tests being that each host can see their soul traits (they can’t see the others only their own)
Sans calls herself a Pb&J Sanswitch much to the chagrin of Patients and Joy of Justice
They’re also able to switch out with their hosts (not this is not DID, I’m not trying to make it an allegory for any disorder) which strengthens certain attacks depending on who’s at the helm
Furcatetale (Rivper):
Not too much lore to tell here, but Rivper himself was the first Sans to receive one of ‘The Keys’, the Integrity Key, given to him by his River Person (due to his Gaster being a massive dick (and the reason Rivper ended up with a half melted Integrity Soul) Riverperson basically adopted Rivper as their own)
The key and internship as a riverperson is why Rivper acts as a multiverse taxi, being able to take anyone to any AU they want (as long as either Rivper or the Passenger have been there before) for 5G,
Their Ferry is also a Gaster blaster (I’ll draw a sketch of it or smthn if y’all r interested)
Helicaltale:
Heck yeah I love this world so much,
Basically helicaltale takes place where after the war, instead of being sealed underground the Monsters were chased away from the safety of MtEbott and instead took refuse in the desert, setting up basically a tent city,
The Humans then placed a curse on them that they can never touch sunlight (I though of this after 47 hrs straight of Minecraft playing so think of how hostile mobs burn in sunlight and that’s basically what happens)
When Sans was 12 (Papyrus being 7) a sickness ran through the camp (it was called ‘The Sunlight Sickness’ cause I thought it sounded cool but now I can think of a better name :/) and during that time the cost of medicines rose 10fold (there’s more lore here but I’ll mention it later in the TW side of this post)
Climatetale:
First things first- basically the polar opposite of Barrierfall where everyone is alive!! Including the human souls
In the AU all the Souls including Frisk and Chara are alive and around the age of 23 (THIS IS FOR JOB/DRIVING REASONS- NOT FOR SHIPPING YOU DEGENERATES. do not use the characters ages as an excuse to ship, both Chara and Frisk are Asexual/Aromantic in this AU, don’t be nasty.)
And all of the Souls work for their Collage newspaper/as reporters, aiming to uncover the truth about the Monsters of Myth.
There was no war in this AU, and similar to Reapertale, a Climatetale monsters are based off ‘things’, Natural Phenomena and Natural Disasters, for Example Sans is based off a Lightning Sprite, Papyrus is based off lighting, Unydne is based off Tsunamis and Alphys is based off Asteroids (cause I think a Dino adjacent character being based off meteors hilarious)
Also, instead of an underground, Mt Ebott erupted Centuries ago (thx Asgore) and its basin cooled and became a massive sinkhole oasis that all of the Monsters live in peacefully,
Frisk and Chara being the first humans they meet in decades
And now onto some of the sadder stuff,
This is bits or lore that are much more confronting, not all my AUs have this,
None of this is too integral so you can stop reading here if the following Trigger Warnings are too upsetting
TW: Suicidal Ideation, Child Abuse/Neglet
Barrierfall:
Despite his vitriol to Ink, Barrier actually blames himself for the loss of his AU,
He was also forced to kill his Papyrus, so survivors guilt and just guilt in general eats at him,
He was the one given the warning by his future self that he didn’t listen to, he was the one that entrusted his AU’s safety to a stranger, he was the one that got himself permanently banned from the Omega-Timeline cutting himself off from the only two other survivors forever,
He says he blames Ink and he’s hunting the creator down for revenge, but honestly, he’s looking for an easy excuse to end up dead,
He knows he can’t beat Ink, he just hopes going into an unwinnable fight would be a step forward in making up for his sins
(Which is stupid cause it’s not his fault but the dumb dumb can’t get it through his thick skull)
Spoketale:
Spoke is cannonicaly dead, while his Papyrus isn’t, Spoke is,
He died when confronting the Player in the Ruins, taking a knife to the eye that killed him near instantly,
Only due to a glitch caused by Players hacking was he able to use a monster candy and restore his HP, leaving him at 10/1HP permanently, but he’s never mentioned it too anyone, not even his papyrus or any of his other friends, too scared that as soon as he acknowledges it, the game codes will realise the glitch and kill him for good,
Never telling anyone about his fears bring mass paranoia making him much more likely to attack when getting defensive
He’s also deathly afraid of reaper sans (pun intended)
Helicaltale:
Remember how I brought up the Sunshine Sickness?? Well it shouldn’t be too bad, their Gaster works in a top level lab in the city with humans to try and find a cure for the curse, making more money then he could ever want
The problem is, he’s always in the city, surely sans is old enough to look after himself and his brother, why would they need a parental figure to take care of them? Phone calls? No, only an email once a month, if lucky
Sure, maybe Gaster doesn’t even know how old his kids are, but it can’t be that bad right??
Papyrus gets sick.
With not enough money for both food and medicine, sans is forced to seek out help from the black market, eventually selling his right eyelight (using it allows the buyer the same teleportation ability sans has) in exchange for the medicine for papyrus,
He’s 12 when he looses his eye, his father never notices, he doesn’t tell anyone, papyrus gets better
This is what inspires Papyrus to join the Royal guard, wanting to protect sans the way he protected him, it’s also what inspires sans to become a magical items trader in the black market (with a strict rule that he doesn’t deal with anyone who hurts kids)
It’s also how he eventually ends up with his own Key, the Bravery Key was given to him in a box along with the orange Glass Eye (this was actually a trade he made with Frisk who needed medicine for their sibling Chara who got sick with Sunshine Sickness as the two had first come to the Underground Tent City)
Anywayssss that’s it for this lore drop
I’m too lazy to actually create in-depth and we’ll thought out lore but I hope this is interesting none the less :D
Also,
WHERE DO YOU ANNONS KEEP COMING FROM??!

Had an idea for...well, not technically an oc, perse, but a character so changed and fleshed out that she might as well be, connected to The Grid.
So you know how the entire city of Inkopolis got glitched out of existence during the Emulator Arc? Yeah, not only did not everyone manage to evacuate in time, but not all the survivors got out unscathed. Enter Piper Fuji, the former leader of Killer Ink (you know, the main enemy team from Meggy's Destiny?). She...well, she only mostly made it out. ended up with a massive wireframe scar all up and down the right side of her body and face (including over her right eye), most of her right arm got glitched away along with the city, and irony of ironies, her species flag got corrupted and now she's a human.
Ever since then she's been stuck in the Mushroom Kingdom, just doing her best to live her crappy new life in her crappy little apartment and the string of crappy dead-end jobs she can't seem to hold onto in a world that doesn't remember her and wouldn't give two shits if it did. And then one ordinary shitty day where yet another job application got rejected and she came home to find that the power's been cut off even though it's still over a week until the rent's due, Jered, she finds a black card at the bottom of her grocery bag that has the name and logo of that new tech company that funded that dumb car race a month ago in red on one side and an address and phone number on the other.
So of course she goes to check it out because it's not like she's got anything to lose at this point, and she actually did major in computer science before she dropped out of college to focus on Inksports so whatever they've apparently scouted her out for won't be too out of her wheelhouse, and even if she just ends up as a janitor or test subject or something she really needs this job.
Of course it turns out that the Grid isn't just an up-and-coming tech company, but is in fact...well, you know what it is, I have a whole post explaining it. The Grid took an interest in Piper because they're aware of her skills and loose morals (both because they've seen Meggy's Destiny and because of Astra actually looking her up), and after finding out what had become of her wanted to give her a chance at a better life. The fact that at this point in her life nobody would miss her if she vanished off the face of the Earth was admittedly also a notable factor in their decision.
Anyway, that's how she goes from a racist asshole sports star to a depressed disabled refugee to a cyborg thief corporate superspy working for the masterminds of a multiversal conspiracy.
(also if it's not clear I made up her name. she didn't actually have one in canon.)

Who do you think has a sadder or badder past in dreamswap cast (minus dream) cuz blue was physically abused by his brother barely escaping the anti-void causing him to have a fear of becoming a glitch, cross was actually not a real person and being rewritten multiple times cuz of a bored wattpad writer(Xgaster) and accidentally destroying his universe, error having so much trauma that he is suffers from amnesia, ani having most of their life in a hospital bed, hacker getting kidnapped by a criminal group and getting framed for murder, Bobby was from a sacrificial cult, finch in his au was 1900's means he was living in a middle of a war and having a family who didn't like he was trans, randy coming from a nightmare dimension and was trying to help people and being the only survivor of his world, ink becoming a weapon at a very young age, and nightmare trying to survive for the past century because of a stupid idea of thinking that negativity is bad even though its actually good for the wellbeing only having kevin and probably did something's to survive
in my opinion Out of them hacker has a less bad/sad past
I mean, a lot of that is pretty damn sad, ngl. I do have some headcanons about these, being that Nightmare also suffered from a lot of childhood trauma thanks to Faith, that Cross saw his own friends and family crumble into dust, and Ink basically being tortured and all that shit, so I think those three definitely have the worst of the worst. Error is a close second though, considering Blue, and considering Blue, physical violence is pretty OUCH.
I never heard that about Finch, but I guess I can incorporate his canon AU stuff with his OG version, where he's basically stuck in a half-dead half-alive state and he's unknown completely by his family, but Bobby basically being born a lamb made for slaughter definitely could come with a lot of bad things, especially if (as I headcanon) he was born with schizophrenia, which can be a hell in a handbasket if not treated, either with therapy or medication or things like that.
I had more to say but I think my brain has mentally checked out bc this has been open for hours WIDFIUASRHFGOUDSHRG

i'd love to hear about tiramisù (your oc...!)
Hi omg this is like from 83929281919 months ago u dont have to answer but I finally feel like rambling about my ocs again teehee… :3
Tiramisu is 24 years old and he’s a vento aureo oc!! He works for la squadra and is a little bit goofy (he is actually insane)
Tumblr media
He spent a lot of his childhood alone with not very many friends, and as he got older he ended up getting cheated on, and having a lot of the only few people he was very close to end up leaving him for other people (even if it wasn’t romantic) Even at home he didn’t really have peace because he was different and did not get social cues, which led to him being seen as weird and yelled at for being rude.
So he honestly grew up rather miserable and moody, very defensive, paranoid and with intense emotions/mood swings he did not know how to regulate. In his youth he also made a lot of bad decisions just so he could feel like there were people who would love him, or not to lose the few people he’d have. Which ended up making it even worse and even made him lose his sense of identity.
Years into the future, he started college, He ends up coming out to his parents. They weren’t supportive and it leads to this huge fight between Tira and his parents because he was dependent on them. Overwhelmed by the emotions, he decided to quit and not deal with them anymore, promising himself he’d find a way to pay what he owed the college on his own.
Due to the strong emotions he felt at the moment, everything hit him at once and awakened his stand, [WEST END GIRLS]. The stands ability is to transform the environment into an abstract world, and matches the emotion of the user. (Mad equals sharpness and glitches in the world, with colors usually associated with anger, and is usually more dangerous as an example) His stand is very draining and he can’t stop it/control it coming out very well, so he doesn’t try to use it often. (As well as the danger to others)
He soon joined Passione, to try and make up the money he owed quickly and also thinking he could use his ability as an advantage. (he was more naive then) When doing Polpo’s trial, Polpo believed the stands ability to bring the user and the target into a warped world could work great for a stealthy assassination so he was assigned to La Squadra. Though as Tira got used to his stand, He used it less and went on missions less (or did not use his stand) and instead helps more with important errands or paperwork.
As the events in Golden Wind happen though, Tira gets more and more stressed until his stand begins to warp his mind. He begins to get in arguments with the other members, distancing himself from everyone and engaging in reckless behaviors. Soon he even leaves.
When he finally sees his team again, He finds Risottos dead body. As well as Anguille, the leader of a team outside of Passione who used to work with the Capo. Overwhelmed with survivor’s guilt and a lack of caring for his own life, he blames Anguille for everything that has happened and attacks him. Anguille’s stand notices before Tiramisu can hurt him and grabs him away. (The stand is made out of large Morray eels, So his arm is crushed and completely bitten into, as well as getting a small bite on his face) Razze, The Capos younger brother then knocks him out with his electric stand, and they leave Tiramisu with Tonno to heal/watch him while they continue to investigate.
When Tiramisu wakes up, He is temporarily untied to be healed by the overly trusting Tonno and he takes this chance to run away and take some money with him. Tiramisu knows he has done too much to return back, and even if his team did survive he could not face them like he did.

Can you tell us something about the people in the manicverse besides statictale
Sure thing! Do keep in mind that most of these concepts are still works in progress and are still prone to change.
Murder: A Toriel who had mistakenly killed a human during combat, however, this human wasn’t completely innocent, as they had killed several monsters prior to confronting Toriel. Anyways, after the deed was done, and the human was dead, Toriel found herself blinded by grief, however, with the comfort from Flowey, she took the flower’s advice to “grow stronger” to ensure that she’d be able to protect any other humans that fell into the Underground without using violence. Flowey always providing Toriel with the motivation she needed to finish what she had started as she begun her own Genocide.
Horror: Undyne had been ruling over the world of monsters ever since Asgore’s mysterious disappearance, however, things only continued to worsen for the monsters as time went on. A famine struck the entire Underground as the monsters struggled to survive. Many of the monsters had perished due to the lack of food. Undyne was one of the few to survive, and her ever lasting hunger slowly continued eating away at her mentality as well as morality. The sole things keeping Undyne herself were her sheer willpower and the revenge she wished to bring upon the humans.
Killer: A Sans from a previous Undertale timeline. Sans had been through countless genocides but of course never could remember them, the skeleton only having a vague sense of déjà vu. However, during one of the many Genocide Routes, Frisk, or rather now Chara, had decided to confront Sans, offering the skeleton a deal, a deal that would ultimately change his life forever. Sans of course refused the deal at first, but through the simple tactic of breaking the little mentality he had left, Chara was able to persuade him. Once Sans had accepted the deal, all Sans had to do was absorb Chara's soul, which he did. With Frisk's vessel soulless, it collapsed to the floor, though Sans was no longer himself, yet instead, it was simply Chara in possession of Sans’ vessel.
Red: The Sans from the Alternate Universe RuinedTale, a Universe that seemingly resembles UnderFell. RuinedTale had taken in the remaining survivors who had survived StaticTale’s destruction, furthermore, Red is actually extremely close with Encryption. Red isn’t someone who should be angered, mainly due to his short temper and his love to throw a few punches.
Zenshia: A humanoid glitch that resides within a Dead Zone within the Database. She had formerly been a human, but after discovering a gateway into the Database and entering it, she begun to slowly grow more and more glitched, similar to how Geno did in the Anti-Void. Zenshia is probably one of the nicest entities within the entirety of the ManicVerse, as she tries to avoid conflicts all together. Another thing to note is that she’s close friends with Encryption, the skeleton probably being her only friend for that matter.
The Eidolons: A group of god-like entities that presumably help maintain all basic functions that help the verse exist. Examples of these being Life, Death, Chaos, Balance, Destruction, Knowledge, etc. Each Eidolon is essential to the continuation of the verse, as without them, all of the ManicVerse may come crashing down. These deities were also the ones to push the Eldrichments (the first race of demons within the verse, Dahlia actually being from this race of demons) back to The Hills, a location that resembles Hell itself.
These are really all the concepts I have planned out at the moment, but I do plan on working/adding more characters!

Do you think divine luck could have the ability to resurrect everyone in sdra2 from the virtual world? (Ik it’s not canon but come on they all deserve better and Yuki deserves his friends back)
Absolutely Yes.
It is Divine Luck that can break all boundaries and chains of logic, so yes.
While Divine Luck won’t be able to make Yuki body grow out of ether, I imagine it would be able to revive anyone and the only requirement would be to slap a minor explanation on it. Like say: Monocrow AI did it in the last moment of consciousness (think of glitch AI of Chihiro in the second game and Yamato Ai in the A1 game), Rei successfully did it, Syobai gave a hint, Syobai put a fail-safe for himself to not to die, etc etc. You can blame the forced shutdown for glitching everything as well. Another factor you could say is that due to the killing process being a shock in the brain and not like, putting a hole in the brain. You could handwave it as not strong enough due to x y z, but putting everyone in a near death state that they were able to ultimately recover. (Tsurugi survives an entire bullet in his brain thanks to divine luck so. Surviving a shock wouldn’t be that much out there)
If I were to approach it, I would approach it in a similar manner in how Yamato AI happened. In that, in DRA1, even though the circunstances and timeline were extremely tight he was able to create it and it was able to arrive just in time^tm to save the survivprs.
Oh yeah, one thing to note as well with this. You could also point to the void theater itself.
Now the Void Theater is pretty a much made for an out of plot reason, to be the intermissions and to also develop more of the Voids and their relationship /dynamics with each other since in 90% of their time they had to pretend know nothing about each other and the other 9% they were vague about it. And Then, serve as a closure or conclusion of their development in the killing game. It is truly an unique way to use the intermission to develop characters that due to circumstances(secrets) wouldn’t be able to interact and be honest otherwise.
However, when you try to approach it from an watsonian / in-universe perspective, it is notable that the people who don’t die immediately from the KG mechanism are the ones with divine luck, who had unfinished closure with each other, and only die when their Divine Luck “ends”/ The true Divine Luck “awakens”, that is, the shutdown that stopped the survivors from dying in the execution.
With that, you could argue or point that Divine Luck could put people in a dead-not-dead, situation in which the program and Mikado truly think they are dead and thus can be revived with *handwaves in whatever process the writer chooses to use*.
So yes. Considering everything we see Divine Luck do in canon *coughs* in Tsurugi and Akane surviving, Mikado surviving 2 fires, Hajime being cured, the whole Yuki identical body, the process of transfer itself, breaking through a set-in-stone program, Sora out of body experience so she would be able to get Information and thus Choose etc *coughs* I do think one could say that Divine Luck would be able to revive anyone.
And like hey. We do have precedent for this type of survival *looks at canon Dangan2 and DR3*. So like, go for it. Have fun.

The First Amulet Holder
The great evil had scored lands for the souls to fuel its machine.
Finally though she came home,
Not to her physical one for that was dead and gone but to old friends.
——-
The experiments had stayed in touch while Kainat had gone on her masscres. The glitches of Ingenium had even kept an eye on her along with Doctor M.
The Ingenium tried creating their own worlds, while the analysts attempted to assimilate to others.
The Ingenium worlds Kainat could not access, even with the souls she collected. She needed a test subject, so why not her kind. Daifa had married into a noble family of Liam in world 167, a medieval one. Daifa was number 153, she was one of the first survivors. That meant her strength didn’t compare to the newer generations. Her only special skill was tracking, which wouldn’t help her against fellow analysts. Kainat could easily overpower her, if not with her eyes, with her hands. Furthermore many medieval worlds had fallen to ash in Kainat’s grip before.
Zebel had finally finished making the children’s minds to ash, so tonight was the night to strike.
It wasn’t night in 167, the sun shined. Its light led to a new beginning, no one knew it would be darkness. Everyone was at work. No one to protect the weapon turned housewife. Difa was rural, her screams and struggle were futile. However she was interrupted by a mirror image, light red eyes and nightly black hair. Her daughter, who else would be better to test the amulets than someone in grief?
The Ingenium and the last of the scientists didn’t find out until far too late.
——
This is from one of the first stories I came up with that I’m trying to fix and rewrite and shit. This is just a short little back story for it. Anything for this particle story that I call “Destroy The Amulet” will be under DTA.

so we pause for scoring (i fucked up on a couple sections, but my worst score on a section was 69 points... Nice) and then it's time for everyone to press the buttons on their podiums to start the shutdown. the group talks about how this isn't the end, just the beginning, and this is definitely funnier in japanese because we have people here named owari (ending) and hajime (beginning). hinata also says something about how "we are the ones who are going to create" which i wanna highlight because the kanji he writes his first name with (創) is in the verb "to create" (創る/tsukuru).
and then usami shows back up, her moderator powers restored. she pins AI!junko's hands down using her "magic," slams junko's head into the ground to stun her, fully immobilizes her, and then she just shatters into pieces. all that's left is her phone, which is still displaying junko's image, allowing her to deliver a little dying speech. i don't think she has an audience for it, though, the shutdown is already starting and the sdr2 survivors and the dr1 trio are now in the process of getting booted out of VR. sounding very bored, junko is like wow this is soooo much despair, how fun. she says once you've experienced the kind of despair she has, there's no turning back, implying she feels she sort of already peaked and doesn't have anywhere to go from here. unlike the last game, where she went to her death eagerly, this time she knows she's beat. she gets in one last "this is soooo despair-inducing" and then the phone goes dead.
we cut to the dr1 trio (this is a CG, the background is abstract, but i take it from general context that they can't see the trial room or the sdr2 group anymore) talking about what just happened. they didn't count on usami showing back up, they didn't think that was possible. none of them seem quite sure to make of what's just happened, but naegi says at least they avoided the outcome junko wanted and fought for their own. togami brings up how uncertain their future is, but kirigiri says all they can do is leave it to the group. the simulation is shutting down, there's nothing more they can do to help. naegi says they don't need to anymore. the screen goes white as the future foundation members return to the real world.
we cut back to the group, standing inside the ring of debate podiums. the game world is glitching and rapidly falling apart around them, like they're on a little island in a sea of computer code. sonia says, hey, sorry to bother everybody, but even if we wake up not remembering all of this... it'll still have meaning, right? souda says he doesn't know how to explain it, but he agrees with her, he thinks it will. kuzuryuu gently ribs him for being bad at explaining things and they banter a little bit. it's sweet. hinata interrupts to say time is almost up, and souda admits that he's pretty scared. sonia says she is too. owari says it's fine to be scared, it makes sense, right? the little nidai bot agrees with her and yells "that's the future!"
as the screen begins to turn white and the glitching gets heavier, the group all vows that they aren't going to forget each other.
we get a bit of internal narration from hinata — it's been a while since there was any. he thinks again that this isn't the end, just the beginning. yes, he's scared, he can't help feeling scared, but... and then he finally says "thank you, nanami" aloud.
the camera pulls back, away from hinata, and the screen fades to white. while we can't see her and the dialogue box doesn't attribute this dialogue to her, it's nanami's voice that responds. she thanks hinata in return and says she'll never ever forget about them. she'll be cheering them on from now on, from somewhere. they'll always be friends.
we get the end chapter screen at this point, which helpfully tells us "this is the end." i don't remember, but surely there's some manner of epilogue? there's always some manner of epilogue

As a consequence, it was written off by quite a few gamers alike. This was mainly due to the game’s bugs, glitches, and its less charismatic lead.
#Sleeping dogs definitive edition low fps series#
The third entry in the Assassin’s Creed series suffered quite a bit of criticism at its release. It’s a great way of making you care about your game world and the characters within it, because your every action has a direct effect on those around you, sometimes leading to dire consequences. Consequently, State of Decay doesn’t pull any punches with character loss, the realities of life in the community and the dynamic structure can force you to make very difficult moral decisions. The game has a deep character relationship system and is capable of playing on your raw emotions in a brilliant way. You’re in charge of a small group of survivors, building outposts, and bases to ensure your group’s survival in a community. State of Decay is an open-world zombie survival horror game that’s exclusive to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. See also The Queens Gambit Beths 5 Best Traits (& 5 Of Her Worst) 13 State Of Decay The game should also be commended for the way it handles diversity in race and transgenderism. Government surveillance and systemic repression are recurring themes Watch Dogs 2. In light of today’s political climate, Watch Dogs 2 depicts mass government surveillance programs. However, there’s definitely a more cerebral way the game tackles very serious topics. The game gives the players the tools to have fun, allowing gamers to enjoy the world, and taking satirical shots at Western society. The sequel definitely takes some inspiration from the GTA series. Thankfully, Watch Dogs 2 improved on the original game in every aspect. The first Watch Dogs was a game that had a lot of potential, but never quite lived up to expectations, which was not helped by a fairly unlikeable lead, and a drab take on Chicago. The world of the Wild Hunt is one of the most reactive open-worlds this generation. Pursuing a relationship with both characters will lead to Geralt losing them as lovers completely. It’s a game that tackles discrimination well within the context of the game’s story.Įven the way you handle Geralt’s relationships with Yennefer and Triss can often have consequences. Magic users are even hunted down burned by religious zealots. It handles issues such as discrimination through the character races, such as elves and dwarves, or anything considered non-human endures barbaric mistreatment from the humans from the Northern Kingdom (Nordlings). Putting sex and violence aside, the game achieves its mature depth of story through the use of political intrigue, racial divide, religious extremism, and even its novel approach to choice and consequences. The series setting is a dark fantasy that is a far cry from the high fantasy of Warcraft or Lord Of The Rings. The Witcher 3 concludes the story of Geralt of Rivia and is considered one the best open-world role-playing games of this generation. Here are 15 open world games that could be considered to have more mature themes than Grand Theft Auto. There are many games in the genre that have their own take on telling a mature story, or evoke a genuine emotional response from an adult audience. The open-world genre has moved far beyond trying to be “GTA clones” (as they usually strived to be in the 2000’s). So although the characters and storylines have serious undertones, it’s because of the games often playful nature they aren’t considered mature in same sense as a game like The Last Of Us or Telltale’s The Walking Dead series - which is the intention of the developers. While the game’s content is definitely aimed at a mature audience, the games are generally considered a nihilistic satire of modern life and parody of modern pop culture. With each title’s level of colorful language, explicit sex and violence, the GTA series certainly earns their ESRB rating of M (Mature). It could be argued that Rockstar were responsible for the popularity of games aimed at a more mature audience. They have introduced the world to some memorable characters like the ones seen in Grand Theft Auto Vice City to the more recent Grand Theft Auto V. The game’s developers Rockstar have truly pioneered the open the world game, setting what many consider to be the benchmark for the genre upon every new release. The Grand Theft Auto series have produced some amazing games in the last 20 years. Home: A Dead by Daylight One Shot
Pairing: Dwight Fairfield x (GN) Reader
Contents: ANGST, followed by Fluff
Content Specifics: Friends to lovers; mutual pining; Dwight is more assertive in this one
Summary: Jonah figures out how everyone can leave the Entity's realm. This should be a time of celebration, but for you, it's agony. Like Leon, or Cheryl, or Bill, etc., you're from some different world than the other survivors. And you don't want to say good-bye to Dwight forever.
A/N: Part of the inspiration for this was a conversation with a friend about how Dead by Daylight established that the multiverse exists. I didn't mean for it to be so sad at the beginning but then I just kept writing and now this is what happened lol.
Jonah had done it. He didn’t tell anyone until he was certain because he didn’t want to get anyone’s hopes up or not be able to show proof. But he had done it. He had figured out a way for everyone to get out of this nightmare world.
“It’s kind of like a glitch in the Matrix,” he explained one night, everyone huddled around the campfire. “It only happens every so often, but the numbers are solid. I’ve gotten it down to an accurate science. It’s predictable. When it happens, it’s so subtle that none of us noticed it before, but it’s there and it’s real.”
He had gone onto explain his calculations and how he had tested his figures, but you stopped paying attention once it became clear that Jonah’s discovery was legitimate.
When you had first gotten here, you would have been overjoyed to find out that you could leave. Although you were happy not to have to endure this endless horror anymore, there was one thought that kept going through your mind as Jonah’s voice stopped becoming distinguishable.
You’d have to say good-bye to Dwight. Forever.
You weren’t from whatever world he had been taken from. You couldn’t simply find him again on the other side. And the last piece of information you managed to hear before tuning Jonah out completely was that every different place that Survivors were taken from had their own separate window of opportunity. You realized that this meant one of you would have to stay behind a little longer than the other, and neither of you would ever truly know if the other made it out alright.
You had never loved anyone like you loved Dwight Fairfield. You had never told him how you felt because of the danger of being stuck for eternity having to see the person you wanted most and knowing they didn’t want you back. And now there seemed to be no point in saying anything because you’d never see each other again even if he did.
You were just going to have to live with the pain of losing someone so precious to you, wondering where he was or if he was happy… Wondering if he had fallen in love with some other lucky person who got to spend their life with him.
The pain would have been easier to manage if you were from the same world, even if you lived far apart from each other. If there was some way to stay in contact or even visit each other. Because having Dwight as your best friend, your partner-in-crime, your go-to person was much better than not getting to know him at all.
These thoughts and feelings weighed heavily on you for some time. As Jonah explained, it was cyclical. You all had to wait. And as the time drew closer, it was noticeable how much more depressed you were becoming…
*
“Hey, can I talk to you?” Dwight says, putting his hand on your shoulder. His voice and his touch were gentle, like he was approaching you with extreme caution.
“Um. Yeah, sure,” you say, having a hard time looking him in the eye.
He takes you by the hand -- something he’s done loads of times by now, either running together in a trial or goofing around and playing silly games you’d make up back at camp, but this time you feel a lump in your throat--and leads you to a private area away from everyone else.
“So, uh… What do you wanna talk about?” you ask when he lets go and turns to face you.
“I wanted to talk about you. What’s wrong?”
“Nothing,” you reply.
“Please don’t lie to me. I thought we trusted each other more than that,” he says. “I say I ‘thought’ we trusted each other because you haven’t even been able to look at me for a while now. What did I do?”
You know how difficult this is for him to confront you. How brave he’s being. And it hurts you that he feels the need to “confront” you at all.
“You didn’t do anything, Dwight,” you say, feeling tears start to sting your eyes. This is the first time you’ve had a one-on-one talk since a little after the night that Jonah shared his news with everyone. These moments used to be common. You loved them once, but now it hurts.
“Then why did you shut me out?”
The pain in his voice is obvious. You feel even worse for being the cause of it.
“I… I didn’t mean to,” you say, basically whispering for fear that you’ll burst into tears at any moment if your voice rose even a little.
Dwight sighs. He looks at you with the saddest eyes you’ve ever seen, causing you to look away again. After a moment, he continues.
“You’re my best friend. We should be celebrating right now. We’re getting to go home!”
“That’s what the problem is, Dwight!” you say, snapping at him unintentionally. By now you can’t hold back the tears.
He looks at you, eyebrows furrowed in confusion, and looking a little hurt that you yelled at him.
“I-I’m sorry,” you say, crying, “I didn’t mean to yell at you… Dwight, you did nothing wrong. I want to go home, but…”
“But?”
“I don’t want to say good-bye to you. ‘Home’ means different places for each of us. We won’t be able to just call each other if we want to talk. Or get in the car, or board a plane to visit each other. Once we’re out of here, that’s it. Forever.”
He looks down at the floor, hands on his hips.
“I know…”
It’s your turn to be confused and feel a little hurt.
“You know? And you’re OK with it?”
He darts his eyes up to meet yours. You see tears starting to trickle down his cheeks.
“Of course not! That’s why I wanted to talk to you, because I didn’t want us to go our separate ways and have some unresolved problem between us. I’ve just been trying not to let you know how upset I’ve been over it because I saw how sad you were, and I wasn’t sure why. I thought you were mad at me and I didn’t want to make it worse.” He pauses, trying not to begin crying, himself (but failing) as he adds, “You’re the most important person in the world to me. How could I ever be OK without you by my side now?”
Within a second, his arms are wrapped tightly around you. You return his embrace, burying your face in his shoulder. You both stay there holding each other, not speaking, only crying. Grieving.
Through his sniffles, he whispers in your ear, “Ask me to leave with you and I will.”
Still holding him, you look up at his face. You’re both still messes, but you’ve both stopped crying for a moment.
You had considered this before. Many times. But you thought it would be selfish of you to ask. It didn’t feel right to suggest he leave everything he had ever known behind for somewhere unfamiliar, where you would be the only person he knew for a while.
“What about your parents, Dwight? What about--”
“I barely speak to my parents anymore. Ever since I’ve been living on my own,” he says, interrupting you. “My mom doesn’t even try to guilt trip me into calling or anything. Not even for holidays. We’re not that close. And ‘what about’ what? My dead-end job? My crappy little apartment? All of my zero friends and nobody that misses me? Why wouldn’t I trade all of that for the one person who would miss me if they never saw me again? Why wouldn’t I do that when I know I’d spend the rest of my life wondering if you were OK? Or if you remembered me? Or what might have been if I had just taken a damned leap?”
Dwight wouldn’t be the first person that most people would think of when it came to being brave, or assertive, or bold. Of course, you know he could be all of those things, but you’re still a bit surprised right now. Though all the fire you just saw in him seems to flicker and his shoulders slump a little. His eyes get that sad look again, and he takes a deep breath.
“When I’m with you, wherever I am is home,” he continues. “But if you don’t want to ask, and if you feel too guilty… Just… Just know that I love you. And I always will. And it’s OK if you don’t feel the same, but if this really is good-bye, I…” His voice cracks and he trails off. He looks like he’s going to cry again. He shuts his eyes tight and takes a moment before speaking again. “If this really is good-bye, I just want you to know how amazing you are. And if you ever feel alone, that I’m always going to be thinking of you.”
Your heart pounds. Your eyes are locked on his.
“Dwight?”
“Yeah?”
“Leave with me. Stay with me. Be with me.”
Dwight smiles at you like this is the happiest he’s ever been in his life. He dries his tears with the sleeve of his Pizzawhat! hoodie. Then he cups your face with his hands and wipes your tears away with his thumbs.
“Of course,” he says softly.
For a second, you see a glimpse of uncertainty come over his features. But his courage returns in an instant as he leans in and kisses you. It’s a deep, passionate kiss. It’s the kind of kiss that makes you feel like you were never truly loved before this moment.
You hold on just a little tighter to him.
And when you do escape with him, you make sure to hold him as much as possible for the rest of your lives.
