It's a fic about identity crisis and doubts and protecting kid Gohan.

Future Trunks is a girl, but has been hiding it, and she has to navigate her time travel and solve the Android crisis all while dealing with overbearing past!Bulma and the fact that baby Trunks was born male.

And then she finds out another future Trunks died in the future, killed by a monster that stole the Time Machine....

13+, somewhat follows canon from Meca Frieza onwards ^^

(it's genderbent but it's not for ships. Much closer to Blue Eye Samurai if anything XD)

Wrong Timeline Trunks!

For some reason I managed to draw this entire mini comic at midnight oop. Rip my sleep bc I work tmr. Anyways. This is my Future!Chichi AU with a dash of my dead!Chichi AU.🤭 Trunks didn’t set the coordinates right and landed them in the wrong timeline. They still decide to stop by to restock supplies and Chichi goes out to hydrate. I have a whole fic for this (the future timeline with chichi and trunks and mai) and it even has a dash of GokuBlack! POV.(ref back to my past arts about Goku Black and Chichi.). This is also a reference to my previous art of Chichi dying of the heart virus instead of Goku, so it’s basically a world without Chichi or Goten.

Goku and Chichi panic at seeing each other overall bc they think they are imagining things, Chichi has trauma from Goku Black and Goku fully accepted her death and that he’d never see her again but this interaction really throws them in for a loop. Poor baby Gohan is trying to understand what’s going on and Trunks arrives a second too late and now they have to explain themselves oop.

Here’s a rough design I came up with for Gohan Black, inspired by @st-dorothy-minority ‘s AU idea. The idea of Zamasu hijacking Gohan’s body would have been 10x more traumatic for Trunks then just stealing Goku’s body, and it would be even worse for poor Trunks if it had been Future Gohan. Would have made the arc more interesting imo, Goku having to deal with fighting his own son, Trunks dealing with his Gohan being the one killing everyone, eta. eta.

Okay, okay, this was mostly an excuse to draw a creepy skeleton arm for Future Gohan. Also I gave him a giant axe instead of a scythe, because Fortnite had the right idea giving Gohan an axe, just sayin.

Teen Gohan is definitely the funniest little dude I've ever seen called a teenager before getting a 'teen' in his age.

Whether it was 10 or 11 is up to the usual dumb shonen debate.

But I do sometimes think about how Dragon Ball Super got an unexpected, surprisingly really good, solid, accurate grasp of his core character for a single arc before fucking with that for weird fans and funny memes of vague Latin American origin.
