I’ve always wanted to commission artwork for my avatar in SL, but I didn’t know how to go about it. I’ve seen lots of custom artwork from various artists on Tumblr and Flickr, but their prices were either too high, or they weren’t taking new commissions. Don’t get me wrong; I believe that artists have every right to charge how much they charge, and the end result is worth every penny. Custom content creators too! But since I’m doing a lot better in my RL job, I figured I’d take the plunge and splurge a bit to get something done. fuhrerdoodles did an amazing job capturing my avatar’s persona to make him look like a real person. And he’s been so patient and accommodating throughout the entire process. Check out his work!
