I almost can’t 😅 I don’t know why but I opened the document this week and just started writing and next thing I knew, I had the whole chapter finished. Rae’s coming strong out of the gate on this one, the first “media fic” AND the first sport / driving fic I’ve ever delved into. It’s teeming with easter eggs not only with its media format and clickable links, but in characters and places from the Pedro universe (as well as a couple of other universes) and some other recognizable faces come up. So much fun. And if you don’t know anything about F1 racing, you will be taken care of here as Rae uses the format to explain the basics in a format that’s quick and easy. GET IT.

How they acknowledge what’s hard and what’s unconventional and how they take care of each other through it even if they’re not together. I’m so in awe of this story and the whole relationship, it feels so alive...

The Book of Boba Fett (Bailey’s Version) by @snarwor
Look. I am just fine with TBOBF. I liked it just fine and I enjoyed watching it. But I think it could have been so much better. Bailey does too...and she nails it. From letting the Tuskens live, to getting them involved in the fight, giving Boba motivation for redemption, giving Din reason to choose his path, making Cobb and Fennec more active players, and just cutting out the gristle. I love this version. I kind of wish I hadn’t read it because I really really want this to be canon....

Happy Holidays everyone! This is such a fun time of year. So many fests and gift fics/art celebrating the holidays. And yet there are only a few that focus on New Year's, so I thought it would be fun to end this year of mini-fests with a toast to the upcoming year.
This month, there are no prompts to claim or wheels to spin. The theme is very simple. Show us your HP OTP celebrating the start of a new year. Your entry can be set on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day, it can be at a gala or family get-together, it can be set during Hogwarts or the war or post-war. Maybe you want to show the moment they fall in love, or a silly tradition they have, or the first time they drank too much champagne. Have fun with it!

Dates: 12/1 to 12/30, the collection will reveal on 12/31 - There is no cutoff date to join. Jump in anytime until the submission deadline of 12/30.

Authors - 500 words min - no max, written for the mini-fest
Artists - 1 unique piece created for the mini-fest, no max - can be any type of graphic (moodboard, manip, digital art, hand-drawn)
