August Update - Recent News & Game Announcement
Summer is coming to a close! It’s hard to believe that we’re two-thirds of the way through the year. Let’s take a look back on what’s been going on recently and what my plans are for the near future:

releases
We had two releases in the last two months: a demo and a Steam release.
Consummation ~wind above the dragon sea~ (demo)
Tumblr media
This is an island spared by the heavens, a cage for the remnants of humanity. A freelancer blessed by the wind receives a strange letter, leading her to a promised place of her youth. In that same district-city, the four great families chosen by the four great gods gather for their biennial conference. As the paths of those hated and loved by the gods cross, a darkness beneath the sea stirs—to devour, to drown, to destroy, to choose.
Lachesis or Atropos (Steam Edition)
youtube
A private investigator visits a small town after recovering from a coma. She searches for her mentor's lost beloved, but the very eyes she was born with, those that can see the black strings of hate, drag her down into the darkness of conspiracy. A cult, two priestesses, and the threads that puppet the world.
short story poll results
After a combination poll on Twitter, tumblr, and Substack, it was decided that I will write a Who is the Red Queen? short story to be delivered via this newsletter!
This short story is still in the concept phase. Please note that due to the multi-ending nature of the game, the short story should be considered non-canon or alt-canon.
I wonder what it’ll be about…
Perhaps a little short featuring Cheshire and the White Rabbit? Perhaps an exploration of what happens after a certain ending? Perhaps a story about the past between the White Queen and Red Queen?
Only time will tell.
socials
And with the slow and excruciating death of Twitter, I will make a quick aside to mention some other social media sites that I have made an account on.
tumblr
cohost
misskey.io (fediverse, can be followed from mastodon)
bluesky
It’s hard to say what will take the place of the dying corpse of the bird app, but for the time being, please feel free to follow me on any of those places!
Still, the best way to keep track of my work will be:
this newsletter (even if substack dies, the newsletter can be transferred easily)
itch.io
game announcement…!
Now, enough with the gloomy talk. Let’s talk about something exciting! A game announcement!
This is not the long term project that I spoke of previously (you’ll have to wait a bit longer for that), but rather…New Project!! The Final Prize is Soup - a spooky grey background with 3 chibis of girls with black hair and gold, red, green-blue eyes from left to right.
I will be participating in Spooktober again this year as director, character designer, and co-writer for a survival horror yuri visual novel by the title, The Final Prize is Soup.
After a disastrous break up, Qian Hailu wakes up to find that she's dead. Luckily (or unluckily), she's been given a chance to turn back the clock and avert her death—as long as she can pass three rounds in the game of life. You who are unqualified to drink Meng Po's soup, you have been chosen for the game of life. Three worlds, three rounds. Win all three and you may avert your fated death. Lose any and your bones are forfeit for tomorrow's lunch broth. Good luck. Our ghosts have prepared their takeout containers, all plastic, non-microwaveable.
tldr. death game in the afterlife (ft. cannibalism lesbians)
You’ll hear from me about this game, hopefully, quite a lot during the upcoming month of September. Please look forward to it!

See you in September!

"Renjun...I'm leaving for America in two days." Yuri's sad voice echoed softly through the library.
"So?" I said in a slightly harsh and rude tone.
"What happens to us then?" She asked while looking down at her palms.
"What else?...we end it." I said in a cold tone making her look at me in surprise.
"What...why?" She questioned, tears pricking her eyes as I stood up.
"Simple...there's another girl who interests me...more than you do." I said making Yuri's eyes widen as she abruptly stood up.
"What do you mean...another girl?" She asked with a shake tone as I smiled.
"A girl who cares for me more, a girl who understands me more, a girl who doesn't force me to do things I don't want to...and most importantly...a girl who gave me the most precious thing she has...something you didn't give me ." I said with venom lacing each word.
"How...how could you?" She asked as now tears fell from her face.
"Simple...you were always too naive...too much of a daddy's girl, not wanting to cross him. So over time...the love died down and all that remained was just me playing along with your little games." I said with a smile and began walking out when a hard book hit the back of my head.
"You jerk! Just you wait...when I come back and take my father's place! No matter what the situation might be...whether it hurts just a little or whether you're fighting for your life...I won't save you!" She exclaimed as her voice pierced through my ear.
"Like I care! If anything, I'd rather die than have you take care of my injuries!" I said as anger entered my veins.
"Then die! You'd be doing the world a great favour by dying!" She exclaimed and threw another book at me which I caught.
"You can go die in America as well! I'm not coming to save you!" I exclaimed and threw the book towards her as she caught it and threw it to the ground.
"Who said I need you to save me?! I can take care of myself very well! Huang Renjun! I hate you!"

Renjun's
"Renjun...Renjun!" I snapped out of my daze when Taeil placed the bowl of chicken noodles I asked for infront of me.
"Oh...thanks." I said as he looked at me and patted my shoulder.
"You okay?" He asked as I nodded my head .
"Better than ever." I say with a small smile.
"Better than ever or worse than ever? No offense but you look worse than ever." Taeil said making me laugh as I took a sip of the noodle broth.
"None taken." I say as he laughed and sat on the chair across mine.
"You heard?" He questioned making me furrow my brows.
"What?" I asked as he cleared his throat and looked at me awkwardly.
"Uh...Yuri's coming back..." Taeil said making me shrug.
"So? Not my problem." I said and began eating the Ramen.
"So you're not even a little alarmed?" Taeil asked as I ignored him and continued eating.
"I was the one who ended it, why would I be alarmed?" I said earning a sigh from Taeil.
"I'm just saying that...you could've ended things on a good note...you didn't have to be so harsh." Taeil said in a soft tone making me sigh as I kept my chopsticks down.
"I was sick of her...what'd you expect?" I said as he got up and patted my shoulder.
"For all I know...that Renjun said what he said just because he wanted her to focus on her dream not because he was sick of her." Taeil said before leaving me alone to head back into the kitchen.

Yuri's
"Byee, I'll miss you guys!" I said as I walked through the hallway for the last time with my hands full of gifts and bouquets.
"Are you gonna walk around saying bye to everyone?" I looked infront of me to meet the owner of the voice.
"Ten!" I ran into my elder brother's welcoming embrace as he twirled me around and put me down.
"Ayy, you grew out your hair." He said and pressed a kiss to my forehead.
"Yup, oh...and who's this??" I said in a teasing tone as the person groaned and looked away.
"Aww, Yuta came to pick me up too??" I said and moved to hug him as he patted my back lightly.
"If you're done can you let go now?" He said as I gave him a tight hug and pulled away with a laugh.
"Okay, okay...but it does feel great to be picked up by two favourite nct members~" I said making Ten coo as we headed to the car.
×××
Renjun's
"Jeno, Jaemin...go get Yuri, Ten and Yuta from the airport. Their plane should arrive in a while." Taeyong said to his younger brother Jeno and Jaemin who nodded and left.
I let out a sigh as I found myself walking towards the kitchen where Taeil and his youngest son Taejun were talking to each other.
"Morning Renjun, do you want some tea?" Taeil asked to which I nodded.
"Yes, please. " I said and sat on the chair beside Taejun's.
"Uncle Jun, do you like dragons?" Taejun asked me making me sigh as I pretended to think.
"Mhh...yeah, especially fire dragons." I said earning a squeal from the 4 year old.
"Me too!" He said and showed off his favourite dragon plushie.
"Ah, I see you fixed mr. Firebelly's leg." I said referring to the dragon's leg which his brother tore off.
"Yes! Appa fixed it!" He said happily when Taeil ruffled his hair and handed me my tea.
"Jeno and Jaemin went to get them...feeling nervous?" Taeil asked making me break into a chuckle.
"Sounds like you're the one who's nervous.. but no, I don't care nor am I nervous." I replied as Taejun stared at me.
"Uncle Jun, who's coming?" Taejun asked me as I motioned to his father.
"Ask your appa, he's more closer to the visitors." I said earning a soft smack on the head from Kun who just entered with groceries.
"They're not visitors Jun, aigoo did Taejun finish his breakfast?" Kun cooed at the toddler who greeted him with a gummy smile as he nodded.
"Very good! Here's your dessert!" Kun cooed and handed Taejun a cookie from his grocery bag.
"Thank you uncle Kun!" The toddler said in a cute manner making me break into a smile as well.
"Taejun-ah, go change out of your pjs and come down quick okay? Your uncles and auntie are coming!" Taeil said in a sweet tone as his son obliged and went to his room.
"I wish for the day I have minions of my own." Kun said with a happy tone as he watched Taejun run away with his little body.
"No one's stopping you." I said in a nonchalant manner as I took a bite of my bread earning a flick on the back of my head from Kun.
"And until then, I need to take care of minions like these." Kun said with a scowl on his face.
"You two can take care of my kids until you have your own." Taeil said making me scoff.
"I did not say anything about wanting fatherhood." I said and kept my cup before going to my room.
"I'll be in the room." I said before leaving.
Yuri's
I smiled and opened my arms to hug Chenle who happily ran to my embrace.
"Lele~ you look so different!" I exclaimed making him chuckle.
"You too, I remember how you'd always complain and cut your hair even if it grew just one inch past your shoulder." He said with a smile as I laughed, reminiscing my past self.
"Are the rest home?" Ten asked Chenle who gave him a bro hug.
"Yup, wait...uhh...yup!" Chenle said making me ruffle his hair fondly.
"Let's meet everyone!"
How will Renjun and Yuri react to each other? Find out in the next chapter?!
That's it for the first chapter!
I hope you guys liked it! Thank you for embarking on this new quest with me! 💖✨️

She had watched, watched as Lawrence fell to his death. It had been so easy, just a shove and he was gone, just a shove and he was swallowed below the murky water. Nvidia blinked at the churning water as it continued to rise closer and closer to her platform. Just like that he was gone and she supposed she should be concerned by the apathy that lingered where… what else was she looking for… anything else should have been She’d just killed another person and yet she couldn’t find it in her to feel remorse.
He had wanted to die. Wanted to reach Paradise. She had only helped him.
That’s what she told herself as a canon sounded telling her he was gone, that officially she had taken a life. And she waited, eyes turning towards the pounding sky, waited for a hovercraft, or some sort of announcement. But none came and yet the water rushed up and over her toes and continued to climb. At least one more person was alive and Nvidia realized then that it was just a matter of time. Who could outlast the other. Who even was the other? She didn’t have to contemplate that the water reaching mid-calf now. She would die if she waited much longer, she couldn’t swim and those waters were unforgiving. So she climbed, adrenaline having taken over when she realized the waters were rising in the first place. She truly hoped this was the end as she shucked the bag she’d kept so dearly during the games and all the possessions within it.
Nvidia climbed as high as she could, stopping a few times along the way, gasping for air. The bridges and ladders were all failing and she had nearly fallen more than once. Who was the other person, or people? Were there more than one? Could whoever was left swim? If so she’d be toast. She didn’t see anyone, she realized, as she turned to look every which way from the platform in which it had all started. Someone had to be left though, or there’d be a hovercraft ready to take her to safety. Unless… a thought crossed her mind… were they going to let everyone die? There were two victors from six months prior, everyone could die and that’d right the wrong that was two victors in one games by no victors in the next.
“Um… hello!” She shouted, throwing her gaze up to the skies again. Her face was pounded by the rain, her hair was sticking to her face, completely flattened against her scalp in the onslaught of water. The water crept over the platform and Nvidia threw her gaze every which way, trying to find another tribute or a place to escape. The only thing she could see higher than the platform was the plane and as she searched the plane, a cry rang out and Nvidia’s eyes widened. So she wasn’t alone, someone else was here. She crept closer splashing through the water, maybe if she could just… But the thought stopped when she saw the little body there, Faith. And a breath caught when she realized the reason for her bone chilling cry, but her eyes widened in fascination and she crept closer still.
For Faith she was saddened, unlike for Lawrence. Faith was a child, misguided sure, but a child nonetheless and she didn’t deserve a death so brutal. She didn’t deserve to die at the hands - or rather jaws - of some gamemnaker created mutt. But wasn’t that what they were there for? The mutts? To ensure things ended sooner rather than later? They really were a work of wonder and awe for the girl who crept closer, staying just out of the reach of the blood tinged water. The animals were so lifelike, almost as if the game makers had taken them from their true habitat rather than created them. The way the alligator thrashed as it attacked in the murky water.
Nvidia had been so enthralled in the attack before her, a mixture of awe and disgust (Faith didn’t deserve this, she was a child, innocent and sweet, but Nvidia did nothing to stop the alligator), she had paid no mind to the water creeping further and further up her own body. What did it matter now? The games were almost over, unless someone had a snorkel and hid under the surface of the water at least which was unlikely. And by paying no mind to the water that crept up her body, she had missed the larger fish that had narrowed its attention in on her, missed it at least until its teeth sank into her own leg. She cried out, falling backwards into the water as she tried to shake her leg free. And suddenly she too was submerged in a sea of rust-colored waterShe kicked and smacked at the large fish, head reemerging from the water just in time to hear a canon sound. All she had to do now was last long enough until the hovercraft got to her. But her kicking and hitting only made the already angry fish even more angry and it trashed back, digging teeth deeper into her leg and she opened her mouth to cry out, to scream, but the fish had dragged her under the water again and instead she choked on water. The more she struggled the more the fish tore into flesh and muscle, the more the water resembled rust than mud. It took no more than twenty or thirty seconds from the time she was first pulled under the water for the claw to reach into the murk to retrieve her. But Nvidia wouldn’t be awake for it.
————————
When she woke it was to the sound of an air conditioner humming softly in the background and the sound of a steady beeping. The lights were dim when her eyes peaked open but they were still to bright and hurt her head. She closed them again before parting her eyelids once more, lifting her head to look around her surroundings.
“Congratulations, Nvidia.”
She startled at the sound of someone else in the room, her fight or flight quickly taking hold. She sat up, grabbing for the blankets that covered her and threw them to her side all in the seconds before the nurse could hurry to her side, shushing and carefully reaching to keep the newest victor where she was.
“You really shouldn’t move so much.”
But Nvidia had already frozen, eyes cast on the stark wide wrapping around her right thigh, bandages hiding the damaged caused by an arowana. Her fingers drifted to the bandages, barely touching the white fabric before her gaze caught a similar bandage around the opposite calf. She remembered the pain of both wounds, the tearing of flesh with the pinchers of a beetle, the infection that had started, but also the pain of her thigh being torn open, by a fish she couldn’t even see. Both pains were fresh in her mind but absent now and that was when she noticed the IV in the fold of her elbow.
“I’ll got get the doctor. She’ll be right in.”
And after a handful of footsteps echoing in the clicks of heels, Nvidia was left alone. Alone and awake. Alone, awake, and alive…. She had done it. She had won. She’d have to tell Yuri, maybe fighting skills weren’t all they were cracked up to be.

hey, could you write a yoongi smut and make it angsty (but with a happy ending)? please. i love your stories, thanks
Tumblr media
↬ Pairing: Yoongi x Fem. Reader (ft. Namjoon and Hoseok) ↬ Story Genre: Medieval!au, ANGST, fluff and smut ↬ Warnings: explicit language, explicit sex scenes, minor character death ↬ Word count: 11.7K ↬ Summary: You father, The King, wanted to marry you off to someone you didn’t know but you wanted to find love so you decided to run away. You became a wanderer and luck would have it that you’d wander right into what you were looking for.
A/N: I usually don’t do requests (partially because I don’t get any lmao), but I was feeling so inspired that I decided to do it. Hope this is what you were craving anon, and thank you for loving my stories <3
Tumblr media
“Y/N! Y/N! Wake up!” A distant cute voice you recognized as your younger sister, Miri, came through the door to your chambers.
“Mmm…” You turned around and covered your head with one of your pillows, trying to block out the noise. You never enjoyed waking up early.
“Y/N come on! The man with the pretty horsies has arrived and mommy said I could only play with them if you came along!” You felt your mattress slightly dip on your right and suddenly her cute small hands were tugging at the pillow on your head.
“Ugh, why me? Ask cousin Yuri.” You said in a whiny tone.
“Because it’s your birthday, and you should always play with horsies on your birthday!”
Your heart melted at the cute way your little sister said that. How could you say no to her? You couldn’t. She was the most precious thing to you in this world.
“Fine, I’ll go, but only if you survive this tickle attack!” You jumped out from underneath the covers and grabbed her tiny body to lay her on the bed and mercilessly tickle her.
You woke up with tears running down your face. You’d just had another nightmare about the last time you were truly happy. Another nightmare to remind you of the moments before everything changed and your parents, The King and Queen, decided to send you away to marry an unknown man. Another nightmare of the day you left everything behind and ran away.
“Having trouble sleeping again?” The man laying right next to you asked, startling you.
“I see that I’m not the only one,” you said right after wiping the tears off of your face with your sleeve and turning around to face him.
“The problem with sleeping out on the floor of the forest, Wanderer, is that you risk losing out on a good night of sleep.”
This had been your life since you’d run away from home: travelling around with a group of three guys, going from town to town selling anything from stolen goods, to food and craftwork. Sometimes that meant having to camp out in the forest, while others (provided you made good money) meant that you could sleep at an inn.
“Well, we could be sleeping at an inn if someone hadn’t been too distracted by a pretty girl to let himself get robbed.” You sent dirty looks to the snoring tall man by the name of Namjoon that was right to your left. His left foot was dangerously close to the fire you had made to keep the group warm but you weren’t really worried, he’d move away if it burned.
The man with the black hair chuckled, his gummy smile calming your still racing heart from your nightmare. “I kind of like sleeping outside.”
“Really? Don’t you prefer the comfort of a bed?”
“Well, in those regards of course I do, but where can you have such a beautiful view at an inn? You just open your eyes, look up, and a sea of stars are twinkling down, just begging to be observed.” He looked up to the sky and you couldn’t help but follow his gaze, seeing what he had just mentioned.
“I didn’t take you for a romantic, Suga.” You looked back at him and lightly pushed his shoulder in a teasing matter.
Suga had joined the gang just a few days before you. You didn’t know his real name and story, but that’s why you liked to hang out with him so much - he wouldn’t ask questions about your life.
“There’s a lot you don’t know about me, Wanderer.”
Suga was the one to give you your new name - Wanderer - ever since, on a night just like this one, you were wandering in the forest, right after running away from your castle, and tripped on a sleeping Namjoon, falling right on Suga’s arms.
“I think it suits you,” you turned your eyes away from him and focused on the starry sky, being fully aware of the way Suga fixated his gaze on you.
Suga and the other guys - Namjoon and Hoseok - quickly accepted you in their little group, seeing as you had some crafting skills you had learned in the Castle, and you got along great with all of them. You would be lying though if you said you didn’t favour Suga over the others.
You didn’t know what it was, but there definitely was this heat between you two. Maybe it was because he was so handsome, or maybe it was because you both had mysterious lives, but he definitely had the ability to cross your mind several times a day and stay there.
“Thanks,” his volume was so low that you could barely hear him.
“Now go back to sleep, Wanderer. We have to get up early for the Narymya Market.” His tone was now back to his normal volume.
“Mhm,” you hummed, looking right back at him, “you too! You don’t want Hoseok to punch you again for not getting up.”
“Yeah, you’re right,” he said as he massaged his jaw, probably reliving the pain of Hoseok’s punch.
“Good night Suga,” you got back in your sleeping position, this time facing him, and gave him one last smile before closing your eyes.
“Good night, Wanderer.”
Tumblr media
“Come in! Come in! The best rabbits in town! You can’t get a better product than this!” Hoseok usually had a very loud voice, but when he was in the markets trying to get everyone’s attention he cranked it up to the maximum. Your ears wanted you to complain (seeing as you were right next to him), but you knew that this way he would get the attention of potential clients much easier.
“Hoseok! Buyers won’t come if you make them deaf!” You teased him. You and Hoseok had a very push and pull kind of relationship. You bickered so much that people either thought you were brothers or in love.
“You know nothing about selling my dear, learn with the pros.” He waved his finger around like he was making fun of you and turned to the clients.
You marched towards him with your hands on your hips, not giving a damn about the people around you. “Oh yeah? I bet I can sell more than you by today.”
“That’s cute.” He laughed at your proposal and you knew that his overconfidence and arrogance would make you enjoy your victory so much more. “You think you’re gonna sell more makeup products than I’m gonna sell food? We live in a time of hunger.”
“Alright then, if I win you have to pay for my next meal.”
“Fine,” he agreed after brief consideration, “but if I win you have to give me a kiss.”
“What?” You took a step back. You were thinking maybe he would ask you for the same thing but a kiss was something that never once crossed your mind.
“Are you scared? Come on, I’ve been told I’m an excellent kisser.” He wiggled his eyebrows up and down and you felt the immense need to slap his smirk right off of his face.
“Deal,” you shook his hand in agreement, wanting nothing more than to show him who’s the boss.
“Perfect, can’t wait to kiss those pretty lips, Wanderer,” Hoseok teased once again.
“What? You’re gonna kiss him?” Suga’s voice sounded right behind you, making your heart jump.
“Guess I’m gonna beat you to it, Suga.” Hoseok winked at the male standing right next to you.
“It’s nothing like that,” you responded as you saw Suga’s conflicted face, “we just made a bet to see who can sell more-”
“And when she loses she’s gonna have to kiss me,” Hoseok interrupted you making you snap.
“I’m not going to lose! At the end of the day, you’re still going to have to kiss your pillow like you do every night. You’ll see!!” You turned away and stormed off back to your table.
“That was harsh,” Suga joked as he made his way to his table, which was right next to yours. “You should have seen his shocked face.”
“Well then he shouldn’t have come up with such stupid prizes- Hello pretty lady, may I interest you in this wonderful rose water?” You interrupted your conversation with Suga as a young lady passed by your table.
“No thanks, I don’t need such things,” she barely even looked at you and walked right past, giving you no attention at all.
“Yes, because not even rose water could fix that ugly face.” You mumbled through your teeth as soon as she left.
“If you want I can buy you the products,” Suga offered, making you feel grateful.
“Don’t worry Suga, I can do it, I just have to turn it up a notch.”
You noticed another young woman approaching your area, so you cleared up your throat and went to her. “Oh dear, he was right!”
“What? Who was right?” The woman asked, feeling worried.
“You see that man over there?” You pointed at the most popular seller in the markets, a man so handsome that he had a line of women ready to empty out his table every day.
“Yes, I just came from there.”
“He told me,” you paused a little for dramatic effect, “in secret, that he liked you and that you were really pretty.”
“Really?!” She seemed so excited that you felt bad for deceiving her, but you needed to win this bet no matter what.
”Yes, but he also told me that, as you can imagine, he has a lot of women interested in him.”
“Yeah, it’s hard to get his attention,” she put her head down, clearly remembering all the times she tried to catch his attention but failed.
“I wish there was something we could do, you seem like such a nice girl...Oh, I know!” You shamelessly turned around and pointed at your products. “I have a tonne of products that could help you stand out from the other girls.”
“Really?” She opened her eyes wide open and looked towards your table, making you feel optimistic.
“Yes! Here I have this rose water mixed with dried roses, clove, nutmeg, watercress and galangal. All you have to do is dip your comb in this and run it through your hair and it will smell so nice that he’s never going to want to leave your side!” You handed her one of your bottles for her to smell.
“Oh my, that smells divine! What else do you have?”
“This is a new product I have, it’s wine boiled with bilberry leaves, you just dip a cloth in it and apply it under your arms and they won’t stink. This is perfect for when you get a bit nervous, maybe when you’re gonna talk to him. You’ll be so fresh!”
“Oh, that sounds amazing!”
“I also have this mixture, all you have to do is put it in the fire and when it’s lukewarm, smear it on your face, but don’t let it touch your eyebrows. Leave it for an hour until it becomes cold and then remove it. Your skin will be so refined and beautiful! Plus you can use it in other parts of the body to remove unwanted hairs and clear any blemish. You just know a man like that likes his women smooth-”
“Okay, I’ve heard enough, give me all you have!” She picked up her pouch full of coins and gave it to you. You turned around to look at Suga, who was staring at you with a surprised look on his face, and gave him a wink as you handed everything you possessed to that woman.
“You really have no shame,” Suga said as soon as the girl left.
“Listen to that,” you put your little pouch full of coins near his face and shook it so he could hear them clashing against each other, “that’s the sound of success, my dear friend. I’ll offer you a glass of wine at dinner, it’s on Hoseok.” You winked and made your way to Hoseok’s table to announce his defeat, unaware of Suga’s affectionate eyes staring at you.
Tumblr media
“To Wanderer!” Namjoon toasted as he clinked his cup with the rest of the group’s cups.
“To Wanderer!” Suga and Hoseok repeated (the latter less enthusiastically) before all of you poured the wine in the cups down your mouths.
“Don’t be so sad Hoseok, you also did a good job! Thanks to our little bet we can sleep and dine at a good inn tonight!” You gave him a warm smile and placed a kiss on his cheek, feeling a wave of sympathy that may be attributed to the combination of your victory and wine.
“Yes, my back really thanks your stupid bet,” Suga mumbled as he drank more wine, his mood suddenly becoming more grumpy.
“He’s just sad he didn’t get to kiss Wand- OUCH!” Namjoon revealed before he got stepped on underneath the table, presumably by Hoseok.
“So that’s why you’re like this?” You turned to the man with the black hair, your heartwarming up at the thought of him being jealous. “Here.” You reached over the table and gently placed a kiss on his cheek. He looked so shy at that moment that you couldn’t help but feel giggly, and this time it wasn’t because of the wine.
“Wanderer, I’m also sad I didn’t get a kiss!” Namjoon said, clearly trying to also get a kiss out of you.
“Shut up you idiot, she’s not kissing you,” Suga protested.
“Somebody’s jealous,” Namjoon teased in a half-singing voice. You felt like you were burning up, and placed your hands on your cheeks being sure they were tinted red.
“Just eat your food before it gets cold,” Suga snapped back, taking another sip of wine and picking up his chicken leg to take a bite out of it.
“Hey, boys,” a young beautiful woman approached your group, interrupting your conversation.
“Hello,” Hoseok promptly responded, getting over his loss to you and becoming instantly infatuated.
“Hey lovely,” Namjoon also answered.
“Do you boys need some company?”
She was clearly a prostitute looking to make some money tonight. You didn’t have anything against her until she ogled Suga up and down and decided to put her arm around his shoulders. Your body immediately stiffened. Suga was a single man, (or so you thought since, after all, you knew nothing about his personal life) so you couldn’t put it against him if he decided to go with her. The thing was you didn’t want him to and, to your likeness, it seemed like he also didn’t want to.
“We have company, or are you blind?” His stare was so deadly that you felt kind of bad for the girl. The tension instantly got so thick you could cut it with a knife.
“I- Sorry to bother you,” she removed her arm from around him, quickly apologized and left, Hoseok running after her.
“Wait! I don’t have company!”
Tumblr media
“I’m not going to do it!” You screamed at both your parents as you left their presence and made your way to your chambers.
“Y/N get back here!” You heard your father yell. You could tell he was about to follow you, but your mother’s pleas to leave you alone made him stay put.
Miri was asleep on your bed, probably waiting for you to come and read her a bedtime story.
You didn’t want to do this. You didn’t want to leave her behind, but you had to. You couldn’t get married to someone you didn’t know. You had dreams. You dreamed of living your life as you saw fit. You dreamed of meeting a nice guy wherever and fall in love with him. You dreamed of starting a family someday. A family filled with love and trust, and not one built on convenience. You hoped someday Miri could think of her big sister and have the courage to also follow her dreams. That’s why you had to leave.
You took whatever you could carry, gave your sweet little sister a kiss on the forehead and made your way to the door, tears streaming down your face.
“Y/N?” her sweet little sleepy voice said. “You’re back, I was waiting for you to read me a story about the nice prince who fell in love with the princess.” You dried up your tears with the sleeves of your dress and turned around to look at her - she was getting out of bed to get near you.
“It’s late Miri, you need to go back to sleep,” you tried to control your voice so she wouldn’t realize you had been crying, but it was much too difficult.
“Okay…” she gave you a cute little pout that broke your heart, “but can you sleep with me?”
“Of course Miri.”
When Miri turned her back on you to get back to bed, you put your things near the door and lay next to her. You looked out the window and noticed that it started to rain, so you grabbed your blankets and tugged your sister in tightly.
You started to hum her favourite lullaby to her and as she looked adorably at you your heart sank. Her eyes started to gently close and that’s when you realized: she was probably never going to see you again.
You woke up with your heart racing and your cheeks wet. As you looked out the window of your room you started to doubt yourself and wonder if all of this was worth it. If you’ve made the right decision. Then you started to imagine what Miri would be doing now: she was probably sleeping with the little bunny toy you had sewed for her in one of your classes. Fortunately, someone interrupted your thoughts with a knock before you cried even further.
“Yes?”
“It’s me.” The voice of the man who made your heart race sounded from the other side of the door.
You dried up your tears with your sleeve and opened the door to the handsome man.
“Is everything alright?” You asked as you saw his worried expression.
“Well, I was awake because Namjoon was snoring and then I heard noise coming from your room so, I decided to come to see if you were alright.”
“I’m fine.” You tried to dismiss his thoughts but, by the way he was attentively looking at your face, you knew you weren’t going to be able to trick him.
“Then why were you crying?” You sighed in defeat and sat on your bed, Suga joining you right after closing the door of your room.
“You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to..” He placed his hand on top of yours, letting you know that you could feel safe and comfortable with him.
“I was dreaming about the last time I saw my little sister.” Suga didn’t say anything, but he gave your hand a gentle squeeze, letting you know that it was okay for you to go on. “I- I had to run away from home and… I just miss her so much.” You took a deep breath, trying to contain the tears that once again threatened to spill but to no success.
“Hey, don’t cry Wanderer,” Suga’s warm palm touched your left cheek so it could turn your head in his direction. “Why did you run away?” His voice was soothing and low, something that, in combination with the calming circles he was drawing in your hand, managed to calm you down a bit.
“My parents wanted to marry me off to some guy I didn't even know…” You confessed as you avoided his gaze.
He chuckled, and the look on his face gave you the impression that he was amused somehow.
“Why are you laughing? You think I’m a spoiled little brat that threw a tantrum just because she didn’t get her way?” You took your hand from underneath his and removed his other hand from your cheek, feeling hurt that he might actually think that.
“No! It’s nothing like that, Wanderer. I swear.” He sounded so sorry that he had given you the wrong impression that you started to believe that you were the one with the wrong impression. “I was just thinking...What are the odds we both ran away from home?”
Your eyes shot wide open in surprise. “You also ran away from home?!”
This was the first time Suga had mentioned anything about his life to anyone. Even the other guys knew nothing about him, just that he showed up out of nowhere as you had. But the fact that he was confiding in you made you feel tingly all over.
“Yes,” he smiled. “And that’s why I know you are not stupid. You are the bravest woman I’ve ever met.” He placed his hand once more on your cheek, a gesture that, in combination with his adoring and warm smile, made you feel warm inside. The fact that he had gone through something similar and that he understood you made you feel like you were valid somehow, and that was the most precious thing he could have ever given you.
“You really think that?” You shyly looked at him and his expression turned from an endearing one to a very serious one.
“Not only that - you’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever met.”
Everything stopped.
Suddenly your heartbeat rose to a million beats per minute and your eyes couldn’t stop staring at his lips. It was like they were calling out to you. Like something between you two was pulling you closer and closer until you (being the impatient woman you were) just threw every bit of self-control you had to the wind and kissed him.
No kiss you ever had before had felt like this. It felt like love and adoration were flowing through you both. It felt like you were connecting on all levels possible. It felt safe and real but hot and dream-like.
“I can’t tell you-” kiss “how many times” kiss “I’ve dreamed about these lips” kiss “and how it would feel to kiss them,” kiss kiss kiss.
“Why did you take so long?” You whined as he covered your neck with soft kisses.
“Because I’m a stupid man.”
His hands instinctively grazed up your thighs, sliding under your nightgown, but abruptly stopped when he reached your centre. He left your neck alone and looked you in the eyes with a very flustered expression.
“May I?” He asked, the red tint that emerged on his cheeks making him look adorable.
Now you were the one chuckling. How could he be this perfect? If you already were feeling hot, now you were flaming up.
You took his hand and guided it to your wet folds, immediately moaning as his fingers grazed your clit. “You may.”
Suga’s hand pressed on your shoulder so he could lay you down. Once your back reached the mattress you further spread your legs to give him better access, the gesture making you feel excited.
His fingers moved slowly, gliding through you with the help of your growing arousal. You felt good. So good that your mind kept having impure thoughts of the things you wanted him to do to you.
“More,” you moaned as he skilfully fingers toyed with your bud. He knew what he was doing, and he was doing it so well that you instinctively pulled him for a needy kiss.
He chuckled into your mouth, his middle finger immediately obeying to your request and sliding from your clit down to your little hole, slowly entering it.
“I want you so bad Wanderer,” his mouth moved away from yours and down to your neck. “You have no idea how many times I dreamed about having you.”
Suga inserted one more finger, making you cry out due to the stretch.
You were a virgin, as it was expected of a princess until her wedding night. You’d be lying if you said you had zero sexual experience - the time you sneaked to the stables at night with the son of the Minister of Coin as a teenager and dry-humped his crotch until the both of you came undone suddenly came to mind. That boy came dangerously close to “taint” you, and you’d say he would have succeeded if he hadn’t been promised to the daughter of a Duke and shipped off before he could do it. You were bummed at the time, being the rebellious teenager you were, but now you were glad he didn’t do it.
“Does it hurt?” he lifted his head so he could look you in the eyes, his lips starting to get swollen from all the kissing he was doing on your neck.
“No, it’s fine,” you grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him close, whispering against his mouth: “I want more.”
Your right hand released his collar and travelled down between your bodies, palming his erection over his clothes. Suga closed his eyes and hissed, his hand following your requesting and adding one more finger in.
“Fuck,” you cursed at the mix of pain and pleasure.
“Shhh Wanderer, you don’t want to wake up the people next door,” Suga said with a mischievous look as he started to pump his fingers faster into you.
“Well, I don’t care,” you dismissed him as you remembered the several times your ‘neighbours’ Namjoon and Hoseok didn’t let you sleep because of their snoring. “All I care about right now,” you added, moving your hand inside his pants and grabbing him raw, “is you.”
Suga ceased all movement and practically growled. He removed his fingers from inside of you and quickly disposed of all his clothes, you following him suit.
“Have I told you you’re the most beautiful woman in the world?” He questioned as he observed your naked body with an infatuated look on his face.
You blushed and giggled, “twice.”
“Well,” he lay on top of you, your skin touching his like they were one and the same, “I mean it.”
Suga reached down for a kiss and you swear you could feel yourself emotionally crumbling into pieces at his hands. His lips were quite literally taking your breath away and you were honestly getting scared at how fast you were falling for a man you knew barely anything about.
“Are you really sure about this?” His eyes were honest and kind, and you could tell he was really worried about you and not asking just because. “Losing your innocence to me-”
“I left home because I wanted to be the one to choose who I’m going to be with,” you interrupted him, already knowing what he was going to say. “I don’t plan on being sold to someone who cares more about my so-called ‘innocence’ than me. I want to be with someone who worries about me and calls me beautiful without second intentions. I want to be with someone who truly wants me. I-” you paused, feeling a bit insecure about your next words. “I want to be with you…”
Suga didn’t say anything. He simply stared at you with an unreadable expression on his face, leaving you completely terrified.
“If you’ll have me…” you added as you took in his expression, scared that you had screwed everything up.
Without warning Suga attacked your lips, passion overflowing between the two of you. “I want nothing but you, Wanderer,” he confessed to your lips.
You grabbed his hardness and placed it at your entrance. “Then have me.”
Suga grabbed his penis and slid it through your folds, collecting your slick, before he slowly entered you.
“Mmh,” you grunted, the stinging feeling being a bit overwhelming to you. Suga noticed your discomfort and placed gentle kisses on your skin while he delicately ran his fingers over your thighs to try and ease you.
“Tell me when it feels better,” his voice was caring and sweet and you swore you immediately felt better.
“You can go.”
Suga went slow at first, but as soon as he noticed your change of expression he started to pick up his place.
“God, you feel so perfect.”
His mouth was working on your chest, his tongue playing with your erect nipples, making you moan out his name and squeeze tighter around him. “Oh, Suga.”
“Fuck Wanderer,” he revolved his eyes in pleasure, his expression driving you wild. “Excuse my crudeness, but if you moan my name again and keep squeezing me tight like that I’m going to fuck you so hard that this bed is going to break in half and you’re not going to be able to walk straight tomorrow.”
“Mmh Suga,” you moaned in response, partly because you wanted to tease him but also because you were just so turned on.
Suga didn’t even say anything, he just nuzzled his face on your neck and started fucking you like crazy, the bed making squicky noises in return.
“Oh, fuck, I’m not going to last very long, you’re too much.” He grabbed one of your breasts and pinched your nipple, trying to get you closer to your release. “Touch yourself for me, beautiful.”
You had touched yourself before. It was something that, as a princess, people would frown upon if they ever found out but, then again, you weren’t like most princesses. Touching yourself in private was never a problem. Touching yourself in front of the man you liked on the other hand, was a completely different story. It felt dirtier, nastier and exposing. Something that even you, as out of the ordinary for a princess as you were, felt ashamed of, but you were so inebriated with pleasure that you didn’t even have to think about it, you simply reached down and started rubbing yourself for him.
“That’s it, rub yourself until you cum, Wanderer.”
He didn’t even have to say it because almost as soon as you started to pleasure yourself you could feel that sweet feeling building up in your core. It was only a matter of time before you came and when you did, you couldn’t help but scream.
“Mhm, oh Suga…” You didn’t care if the whole damn inn heard you at this point, all you cared about was that he heard you and that he knew just how good he was making you feel.
As soon as you came though, he removed himself from inside of you and pleasured himself until he released on his hand.
“Why didn’t you cum on my belly or something?” You asked as soon as his panting subsided.
“I didn’t want you to get dirty,” he picked up his shirt and cleaned his hand on it, quickly joining you in bed with a gentle kiss on your forehead.
“I don’t mind,” you kissed his lips and stared him straight in the eyes, getting entirely lost in them.
“I didn’t think you were this naughty,” he smirked.
“To be honest, neither did I. I guess you just brought it out of me.”  You looked down, trying to hide the blush you were sure was present on your cheeks but Suga had other plans.
“Are you being shy now?” He placed a finger on your chin and turned your head back up.
“Shut up,” you lightly slapped him in his firm chest, making him laugh in return.
Suga wrapped his arm around you and pulled you in close, your head resting comfortably on his chest.
“You seemed to really know what you were doing…” You didn’t mind if he had had other girlfriends before, you just wanted to know a little bit more about his life.
“Oh, yeah, I’ve...done it before.” You could tell that your statement made him uncomfortable because his muscles quickly tensed up. “Sorry…”
“Why are you sorry?” You left the comfort of his chest and looked him straight in the eyes, his apology seeming completely ridiculous to you.
“Well, I was your first and you deserve your first time to be with someone who had you as his first.”
He was the sweetest. He was actually the sweetest. If there were any doubts that he was right for you then they were out the window.
“Suga...I don’t care,” you touched his cheek and ran your thumb over it. “You already know I ran away because I didn’t want an arranged marriage, so I’m not exactly a conventional girl. Plus,” you moved in closer and whispered in his ear, “this way my first time gets to be much better, don’t you think?”
Suga quickly flipped you around, so he was on top of you, and gave you a kiss. “You really are trouble, and I don’t think I can get enough.”
------------------------------------- 1 month later ------------------------------------------
The sound of someone knocking at the door woke you up from your sleep. You were pissed since you were having a nice dream about Suga and you rarely got nice dreams.
“Who is it?” Suga yelled. If you were pissed then he was more than pissed, he was not a morning person, and it was way too early to be getting up.
“Hoseok!”
You scoffed, leaving your boyfriend in bed and coming to open the door to your friend. “Do you even know what time it is? You know Suga, he might actually kill you for this.”
“I’m sorry, I know you had a...busy night,” he winked right before earning himself a kick in the shin. “Ouch!”
“What do you want, pervert?” You sighed, thinking he had woken you up for some stupid reason like so many other times. One time, when you were sleeping in the woods, he had the audacity to wake you up because he saw a shooting star. You loved shooting stars, it’s true, but you loved sleeping even more, and that action earned him some words that your royal family would definitely not approve.
“Arial just told me that the Guard is coming early to the inn for breakfast.”
“Fuck…” You realized that you had started to curse a lot more the more time you spent with these guys but, it was something you found liberating and, in this case, appropriate. The Guard was the big authority in the Kingdom you were currently at and you bet they would be very happy to find a bunch of casual criminals like you and your friends.
“Wait, who’s Arial?” You heard the sleepy voice of your boyfriend ask from behind you.
“The daughter of the innkeeper, the one I slept with last night.” He winked at Suga. He wore a mischievous look on his face, telling you he was probably remembering all the dirty stuff that poor girl let him do to her.
“You’re disgusting.” You noted, realizing you had a disapproving expression on your face.
“Hey! We don’t have time for this, you can call me disgusting all you want when we’re out of here.” Hoseok pointed out, making you realize he was right.
“Fine, you’re right.”
“Alright, I’ve already warned Namjoon. Meet you in the back in 10 minutes, Arial will let you through.”
You wanted to nag your friend for telling one of his conquests about your ways of living, but not only did you not have the time to do that you also didn’t want to admit it to him that his adventures with women were saving you. So, you just ignored it and moved on.
“Okay, see you.”
Tumblr media
“Where the fuck is Namjoon?” Suga hated waiting for other people, it got him very grumpy, but you found his grumpy face adorable.
“I told him 10 minutes, not-”
“I’m here, I’m here!” Your tall friend announced just as he walked out of the inn in a rush. “I’m sorry, I- I went against the servant and made her spill everything and she made me help her clean it up…” He looked away, feeling embarrassed that once again his clumsiness was causing problems.
“It’s fine Namjoon, what matters is that you’re here and we can finally leave.” You patted him in the back, trying to make him feel better.
“How come you’re being so nice to him? I bet if it was me you’d be yelling!” Hoseok protested. You knew he was right but, honestly, you didn’t feel like bickering with him right now. You wanted to get out of there safely.
“Now is not the time Hoseok, we need to leave,” Suga came to your defence and you felt so grateful that he knew exactly what you were thinking.
“You’re right. Let’s go.”
The group started walking to the (stolen) horses you had left in the back and when you were getting ready to place your belongings in the bag the horse carried you noticed something was missing. “Oh no…”
“What is it, Wanderer?” Suga asked.
“I forgot my pouch.”
“Really Wanderer?” Hoseok sighed, revolving his eyes.
You were feeling bad. Especially because Suga reminded you 3 times about the pouch and you just ended up forgetting it on your bed anyways.
“I’ll go get it, just wait here for me.”
You turned around to leave but your boyfriend had other plans and grabbed your arm. “No, it’s dangerous. I’ll go.”
“Suga, no. You know as well as I do that as a woman I have more chances to get away, especially when it comes to the guards.” It pained your boyfriend to admit it but he knew you were right.
“What if I ask Arial to go get it?” Hoseok’s idea wasn’t bad, the only problem was that you didn’t know Arial and so you didn’t trust her with this.
“No offence, but I’m not trusting all our money with some random girl. Just wait here and I’ll be back soon.”
“Be careful,” Suga said as he gave you a quick kiss on the cheek.
“I will,” you smiled back at him and turned around to leave, giving a quick run back to the inn. You couldn’t go back through the back door as it was already closed and locked, so you had no choice but to go in from the front. It was still early, so there was barely anyone walking around but it would soon be breakfast time and the Guard would be there, so you had to be quick and careful.
First, you needed to find Arial, as she had the key to the room. That was the easy task as she was in the kitchens preparing breakfast with the other servants, the smell of freshly baked bread filling up your nostrils.
“Hey, Arial,” you called as soon as you spotted her making fresh juice.
“Oh, hi,” she let go of the fruit and cleaned her hands on her apron, pulling you to a more secluded place. “Is something wrong? Is Hoseok alright?”
You were honestly surprised she was so worried and found it kind of sweet of her. Maybe you judged her too quickly, but you were still not going to leave her alone with your money.
“Everything’s alright, I just forgot something in the room and was wondering if you could give me the key so I can quickly go get it.”
“Oh, yeah sure,” she put her hand inside the big front pocket of her apron and took out the key to your’s and your boyfriend’s room. “Here.”
“Thank you so much, Arial.” You grabbed the key and gave her an appreciative smile.
“You can leave the key under the rug after you’re done, I’ll come and pick it up after.” You gave her a nod and turned to leave, but not before you heard her warning: “But be careful, the Guard should be here any minute.”
“Thank you!”
You left the busy kitchen and its wonderful smells and made your way to your room. There was no one in sight yet, so you decided to be as quick about it as you possibly could. You quickly ran up the stairs, unlocked your door and walked right in, immediately spotting the item you were missing. “There you are.”
After collecting your forgotten belongings, you placed the key under the big furry rug - as Arial had instructed you - and opened the door to leave but the voices down the stairs quickly made you run back inside.
“Fuck,” you whispered to yourself. It was the Guard.
The Guard’s voices were loud and you wondered how someone could be so loud in the morning, but that also meant that you could hear when they were no longer in the way. Soon, their voices dissipated and you figured they must be in the dining room getting ready to eat. The good news was that you could finally go downstairs, the bad news was that if you wanted to leave you had to pass by them. Not knowing what to do, your eyes quickly scanned the room and caught something that gave you an idea.
This inn was the fanciest you had ever stayed on, your group deciding to enjoy the good amount of money you had been gaining (partially thanks to your healthy competitions with Hoseok). As a result of that, the decoration of the room was also, in itself, really fancy, having deep green velvety draping curtains, both on your bed frame and the windows - curtains that you could use to hide your identity. You reached under your skirt and grabbed the sharp knife Suga had given you and made sure you always had with you. You felt bad for ruining such pretty and surely expensive curtains but your life depended on it so, without hesitation, you grabbed one of the curtains and started to cut it. Once you were done, you left two silver coins on the table (in compensation for the damage), wrapped the fabric around your head (as a lot of ladies did) and made your way out of there.
As soon as you neared the dining room you spotted them. They were 4 in total, all on the same table, swords near their reach.
They weren’t in a corner of the room (as you wished). They were right in the middle, as if they did it on purpose to make your life that much more difficult. You could see the exit, you could almost imagine Suga waiting for you, but you had to go through them first, so, you took a deep breath and slowly entered the room, keeping your head down and adjusting your improvised scarf to cover part of your face.
They were practically the only people in the room, which wasn’t ideal for your situation because it would be much easier for them to pay attention to you, but lucky for you, they seemed to be entranced in conversation.
You entered the room and walked straight in their direction, as calmly as you could. Your whole body was on edge. Sweat was starting to form and you could hear your heart frantically beating in your ears. As you got closer, their conversation started to become clearer to you.
“We’ve looked for Princess Y/N everywhere but nothing.”
Everything stopped.
They knew who you were. Who you really were. And they were looking for you. If your heart was already racing, well now you felt like it was going to come out through your mouth.
Why would they know who you were? And why were they looking for you? You were reasonably far from your own Kingdom and they only roamed in here. Then you remembered that maybe there was some type of reward on the line. Part of you knew you had to get out of there as quickly as possible and you were almost there, you could practically smell the fresh air. The other part, on the other hand, was dying to know about your family, especially your little sister, Miri. The latter part won.
You stopped in the middle of the room, just near their table, and pretended to look for something in your pouch, when in reality you were just listening in.
“Yeah, I think it’s useless that we still look for her now. With the King’s death, I’m sure she’s bound to show up. Especially since I’m sure she doesn’t want little Princess Miri to be Queen and get married at such a young age.”
You wanted to throw up.
It couldn’t be real. It couldn’t. Your father couldn’t….no. No. Your father was...dead?
You fell on your knees crying, not even thinking about the guards. Not even thinking about where you were. Nothing mattered. You didn’t agree with a lot of your father’s decisions but he was still your father and you loved him. And now he died while you had run off and you were never going to see him again…
“Hey miss, are you alright?” One of the guards was on his knees trying to help you and he was that close to seeing your face and honestly, you were going to let him. You wanted him to take you home. You wanted to be there for your family. You needed to be there.
“Leave her be!”
Just as the guard was about to see your face, Suga's voice reached your ears. He punched the guard in the face, making him fall to the ground and pulled you up to run with you. “Wanderer we need to run!”
At that moment you ran. You ran for love. You ran for Suga.
You heard them yelling and coming after the two of you, but a loud noise seemed to make them stop. You turned your head and saw that Arial had run on to them (by the smile she was giving you, you presumed it was all on purpose) and caused a commotion, giving you time to get ahead and manage to escape.
As soon as you got to your horses it was over for the guards. They were left behind and you and your group rode into the forest.
The rest of the day you didn’t really say much. You had gone to a nearby city and tried to sell stuff at the market, but this was by far the worst day in sales for you. Understandably, your brain felt like complete mush, and you could tell that Suga noticed and was waiting for you two to be alone to ask you.
“Are you okay, Wanderer?” Suga asked into your ear as soon as you were both alone in your tent. Since the little run-in with the Guard that morning, and due to your poor sales, you decided that an inn was out of the option and opted instead to go deep into the forest.
“I’m fine Suga.” You lied.
“You don’t seem fine. You were weird all day.” He came closer to you and brushed a piece of hair out of your face, placing it right behind your ear.
The look on his face almost broke you. You were ready to just hug him and cry into his chest. You were ready to tell him everything, but you couldn’t.
Today you made an important decision. You were going to leave them all behind and go back. You were going to take over your father, become the Queen and marry to a King, and you were doing it all for your sister. All throughout the day you couldn’t stop thinking about her. How sad she must be. How scared. You couldn’t let everything fall down on her. You wouldn’t. Unfortunately for you...that meant leaving the man you loved behind.
“It’s nothing. It’s just the shock of almost being caught by the Guard. But, you saved me.” You put your arms around his neck and did your best to smile at him.
“I would never let anything bad happen to you.” Just like a moth to a flame, you were drawn to each other's lips. The kiss was sweet, tender, safe, loving - everything you ever wanted and everything you were going to lose.
“I love you.”
This was the first time you had said it to him. This was the first time you had said it to any boy. You didn’t expect him to say it back, you didn’t need him to say it back, you just wanted him to know it before you broke his heart.
“I love you too.” His lips were back on yours, but this time with much more emotion. “So fucking much.”
It hurt that you found everything you were looking for and had to give it up. It fucking hurt. You fulfilled your wishes, the entire reason you ran away, and now you had to go back and you couldn’t help but shed a tear, something that Suga noticed right away.
“Don’t cry my love,” he brushed your tears away and gently kissed the place they were at.
“I’m just so happy.” You lied once again.
“And you deserve it. You deserve everything.” He pecked your lips lovingly. “God, you make me the happiest man alive.”
You started to kiss him, your hands tugging at his shirt almost immediately.
You couldn’t have him forever, but you could have this night. How many people wished for a chance, one last chance to be with their loved ones and can’t? You knew this was your last time, and you planned to take in every single second of it.
As soon as his shirt was off you started to kiss his toned and firm chest. You didn’t want to miss one bit of skin, you wanted to taste it all, you wanted to have it all. You went further down his body until you reached his pants, which you skillfully untied and removed so you could have access to his penis.
He was already getting hard. He was always ready for you, and you were always ready for him.
You grabbed his penis and gave it a gentle lick, your eyes fixated on his every expression. You wanted to see it all. Every lip bite, every eye roll, every hiss, every moan, every burning gaze...you wouldn’t lose a thing. You would engrave it all in your mind and remember it until you took your last breath.
“Fuck love, you do that so good,” he moaned as you sucked him off with all the dedication in the world.
You didn’t answer him. You just sucked and sucked until he couldn’t take it anymore. You wanted to taste him one last time. You wanted for him to come undone in your mouth like he had so many times before, and you didn’t care if your jaw hurt or if you gagged as he thrust himself deeper into your mouth, entering your throat.
“Fuck, Wanderer stop. I don’t want to cum just yet.”
You didn’t listen to him. You simply used one hand to pump his base as you swirled and sucked the tip and another to massage his balls, having him spilling his sweet milk all over your mouth.
You loved watching him cum. His eyes closing, his brows frowning, his mouth opened in the perfect ‘o’ shape showing his sinful pink tongue... If you could, you would have a painter paint his beautiful face at that moment and hang it right on top of your bed.
“Shit Wanderer, that may have been the best fucking suck I’ve ever gotten in my life,” he confessed as soon as he regained his breath.
“Fuck,” he cursed as soon as he saw you swallow his semen, “I just came and I feel like I’m ready to cum again.”
Suga went into beast mode. He removed your clothes and lay you down on your mattress, kissing you all over your body until he reached your sex.
“Mhmm,” you moaned as he flicked his tongue on the most sensitive part of your body.
God, you were going to miss this. You were going to miss the way he looked at you while his head was between your thighs. You were going to miss the way he could get you to Heaven and back just with his tongue. You were going to miss the way he clawed your skin as he sucked and licked your pussy and you were definitely going to miss his fingers - his long and rough fingers. You could try, but yours could never compare to his. He seemed to know you even better than yourself how, where and when to touch you. How to rub your clit in the right measure, how many fingers you needed, how hard he needed to go and how to make you cum so hard you’d be able to see stars.
You grabbed his black locks and pressed him harder against you as he ate all of you up and finger fucked you to fucking oblivion. You were pressing him so hard against you that you knew he probably couldn’t breathe but, by the way he just went harder and harder, you knew he liked it. That fact edged you out even more, so much so that you were screaming his name in no time, your body convulsing in the sheer ecstasy of your orgasm.
“Yes, Suga! Oh, Suga…”
“I love it when you moan my name like that.” He got out from between your legs and sucked the fingers that were soaked in your arousal. “Fuck, you’re so fucking perfect.”
Suga was now on top of you, his body pressing against yours and his lips kissing your jawline and neck as he whispered sweet nothings against your skin. He was busy slowing it down, adoring you, but you needed something else. You needed to forget everything. You needed to think about him and only him. You needed him to be inside of you and you needed it now, so you switched positions (putting yourself on top of him) and placed your dripping centre right on top of his erection, rubbing yourself against it.
“Fuck, I’m so fucking lucky,” he moaned as he gripped your thighs.
“You’re wrong. I’m the lucky one.” You lowered your torso and got your face as close to his as possible, your lips, though, were barely touching, just grazing one another and causing tingling sensations that made your heart race. “I ran away from home because I didn’t believe in arranged marriages. I ran because I wanted love, true love...and I found it.” Your boyfriend’s gaze was so intense that it made you go crazy. He was looking at you like you were the moon and the stars but little did he know that tonight, the stars would go out and the moon would be eclipsed by dark dark clouds. “You’re all I could ever wish for: gentle, sweet, loving, trustful...my safe haven.” You closed your eyes and filled the tiny little gap that existed between your lips, “I love you so much.”
“Love you…” you raised your hips a little bit, lined up his dick with your pussy and simply sank right in, involving all of him and making him moan the rest of his sentence “...too.”
As you rode him and looked him straight in the eyes, his hands gripping you harder out of pure lust, you felt like you would never feel this complete in your whole life. He fit you so well that there was no way God didn’t make you for each other.
“Suga…” you moaned, reaching down to kiss him hard. “You feel so good inside of me, I wish you could fuck me all day.”
“Maybe someday we could try it, I definitely wouldn’t oppose having you wrapped around my cock all the fucking day.” His hands moved from your thighs to your ass, a gesture that, in combination with the love bites he was leaving on your neck were making you so fucking horny that you picked up the speed.
Moans and the sound of skin slapping on skin were all you could hear and, for now, you were in pure bliss. You were so in trance by him that you weren’t even capable of thinking about other things. But suddenly, your own body couldn’t respond to your needs. You needed to go faster, you needed to reach that high, but your muscles were getting too tired. Noticing this, Suga flipped the both of you so you’d be on the bottom, locked your legs around him and started fucking you like an animal in heat.
“Oh fuck, I’m so close,” you moaned, your nails digging into his back.
“Cum for me Wanderer, show me those pretty little faces you make.”
Just like that, you were cumming around him, your walls clenching so tight around him that you thought he might cum too.
Part of you wished he’d cum inside of you this time because if you got pregnant at least you would have something of him. Something to remind you of him. Something real and physical, and not just memories. But as he left you empty to ejaculate on your breasts you realized it was probably for the best. You didn’t want Suga’s child to never meet his father and vice-versa. You could never do that to him, one heartbreak was enough.
As Suga cleaned up your breasts - after he had recuperated - you couldn’t help but look at him, and your heart started to hurt again.
“What?” He asked, noticing your emotional eyes.
“Nothing,” you fake smiled. “Come lay with me.” You grabbed his hand and pulled him in close, guiding him to lay right next to you.
Suga pulled you in closer, wrapping his arm around you and making you place your head on his chest. In this position, you could hear his heartbeat, something that managed to calm you down for some reason.
“Don’t ever leave me,” Suga said, making you freeze completely.
“W-why would you say that?” You asked, completely glad that he couldn’t look at your face right now because you’re absolutely sure that you wouldn’t be able to hide your emotions.
“Just...promise me.” He inhaled deeply and placed a gentle kiss on your hair, something that managed to break you even more.
Tears were starting to emerge. You wanted more than anything to not only promise him that and so much more but to also keep those promises. You wanted to give him everything, and it was killing you that you couldn’t give that to him.
“I promise.” A silent tear ran down your face and now you felt truly broken.
Tumblr media
You waited for Suga to fall asleep. It usually wouldn’t take long. He once mentioned that he was normally a fast sleeper, but when he was with you he felt so at home that he would drift off even quicker.
As soon as you heard his heavy breathing you tested it out by calling his name, just in case, and when he didn’t respond you slowly got up. You got dressed, covered him with the blanket and placed a letter you had written that afternoon right next to him. In this letter, you explained everything to him. Who you really were, every little detail of why you left home (even though he already knew the general idea), what happened this morning and why you had to leave. But most importantly, you confessed your whole feelings for him and told him this was the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do.
You looked at his serene face one more time and gave him a small kiss on the lips. “Goodbye Suga.” You were starting to cry very hard now and you felt that if you didn’t leave right now you were going to wake him with your sobbing. So, you opened up your tent, gave him one last look and left.
Tumblr media
“Where are you taking me?” Suga had made you close your eyes and promise to only open them when he told you to. You were curious as to where he could be leading you in a forest in the middle of the night but you decided to not peek.
“Shhh, we’re almost there.”
Suddenly the ground felt a lot more earthy and less bushy and the sound of water running could be heard.
“Alright, you can open them.”
You opened your eyes and the sight completely blew your mind. In front of you was a beautiful lake with some rock formations and a small little waterfall. The water twinkled with the reflection of the moon and the stars shone in the open sky.
“Suga, this is so beautiful.” You turned around and kissed him as a thank you for showing you this beautiful place, his arms snaking around your form.
“There’s a reason I wanted to bring you here.”
“And what’s that?”
“When I look at the reflection of the moon on this water I can’t help but think how the moon and the water are eternal companions. Some nights the moon shines for the water and the water sees it and receives it, but sometimes the moon can’t be seen or it’s covered. That, though, doesn’t mean that the moon isn’t there. I want to be your moon. I want you to know that, even when dark clouds are around, I’m always going to be there for you. So…” Suga released his arms from around you and got down on one knee, pulling a ring from his pocket. “Will you let me be your moon, Wanderer?”
“Yes! Yes! Yes!” Suga placed the ring on your finger and immediately got up on his feet to kiss you, as happy tears ran down your cheeks.
You woke up crying again.
It seemed like ever since you left home that was all you could do. The first time it was due to dreams about your family and the past and now, it was all because of dreams about Suga and the future you could have had.
It’s been a month since you left everything behind, once again, and returned to your broken family. Everyone was relieved to see you, which came as a surprise to you. You thought everybody would have resent for you and even hate you, but the hugs your mother and sister gave you proved you wrong. Your mother said she understood perfectly why you did what you did, and so did your father, but they had to do it. They were worried about you, but somehow they knew that you were too strong and smart to let anything bad happen to you. And your little sister...she was so happy to see you that she wanted to be near you at every second, being scared that you would disappear again - something that truly tore you apart.
Your father had died of a fever, your mother had told you. She also confessed to you your father’s last words: “Please tell Y/N I’m sorry and that I love her.”
It was really hard not to blame yourself for letting your father die with resentment, but your mother made sure to reassure you that you couldn’t have known and that no one blamed you.
Ever since his funeral you barely had any time to think, which you were kind of grateful for because you knew that if you’d start thinking, your mind would go down on a spiral. You had to take care of all the affairs of the Kingdom, plus your coronation and your marriage. The coronation and the affairs went down fairly smoothly, you had to adjust a bit to being the new Queen, but it wasn’t anything you hadn’t been prepared for your whole life. Your marriage though...was a whole nother story. You knew you needed a suitable King and heirs, your Kingdom needed it. But the idea of marrying a man that’s not Suga completely broke you and all you could do was to push it deep down inside of you and repress it. Your mind though made sure to manifest your true feelings in the form of dreams.
The choice for your husband was quite a simple one. Your parents had already approved of him - the whole reason you ran away from home - so you decided that there was no better choice than him - the prince of Slavynia. You heard he was good, kind, handsome and more than willing to marry you. You didn’t care if he was handsome or not - your heart already belonged to another - but the fact that he was portrayed as kind definitely eased your mind. You had enough problems as it was, you didn’t need an evil husband added to the list.
The wedding preparations went down smoothly. You let your mother take care of everything except for the dress. Your sister Miri begged you to choose your dress and you just couldn’t say no to her.
Right now, you were standing in your room all ready to go. Your wedding dress was made of a deep red velvety fabric - embroidered with golden flowers - and it had a golden corset, with golden details and encrusted rubies and emeralds. The skirt was huge and you felt like it must weigh as much as a bear, but it did make you feel beautiful. Your crown was also really heavy but beautiful, it’s big ruby crystals on the gold metal matching perfectly with your gown.
“Your Majesty, it’s time to go,” one of your handmaidens said as she came into your room.
“Give me just one minute.”
“Of course,” she bowed down to you and left the room, closing the door behind her.
You made your way to your bed and sat down on its edge looking at the top drawer of your bedside table. You opened the drawer and pulled out its only content - the knife Suga had given you. You caressed the handle and remembered his sweet smile. You thought about how he was doing. Was he alright? Had he moved on? Did he think of you? Did he...hate you? Or did he understand what you did?
Tears were threatening to spill and you didn’t want to ruin your makeup so you kissed the handle, placed the knife back in the drawer and closed it shut.
Tumblr media
This was it. As you stood in front of the big white and gold doors of your ceremonial hall and looked at the excited look on your little sister’s face you couldn’t help but feel nervous. This didn’t get to be the wedding of your dreams, with the man of your dreams but you wanted it to work out. You wanted the future King to be good to you and your family. You wanted him to be good to your people and help your Kingdom prosper. You wanted everyone to be happy, even if that meant that you were sacrificing your own happiness.
“Her Majesty Queen Y/N!” The announcer said, the big white doors soon opening in front of you.
Your little sister went in first, with her tiny little crown and her cute red velvety dress that she picked out on purpose to match yours. You couldn’t help but smile as you watched her enter the room while she threw red petals on the floor you were about to walk in.
Now it was your time to go. You held your head up high, straightened your back, took a deep breath and off you went.
As soon as you entered you looked straight ahead at the altar, wanting to see what your groom looked like, but he weirdly had his back turned on you. Was he against this wedding? You were so caught up in your feelings that you didn’t even imagine that your suitor could have the exact same feelings. But then you remembered that people told you that he was more than willing to marry you. Then, why wasn’t he looking at you? Maybe he was just nervous.
You were getting closer and closer to him and each time you could observe more details. His black hair, his long fidgety fingers that he kept behind his back. Then, suddenly, he turned around and extended his hand to help you climb the stairs. It was then that your heart stopped.
“Suga?!” You almost fell to the ground, but thank God he had your hand.
“Hello, your Majesty,” he bowed to you, kissing the back of your hand in the process.
“W-what’s happening? What are you doing here? W-what about Prince Yoongi?” Your head was spinning and you truly felt like you could pass out at any minute.
“I am Prince Yoongi,” he got closer to your ear and whispered: “Wanderer.”
You wanted to say something. You had one million questions, but the truth was you were barely capable of breathing properly right now, much less speaking.
Suga saw your difficulty in talking and decided to explain everything.
“Remember I told you I also ran away from home? Well, my parents wanted to marry me off to some Princess I didn’t even know and that didn’t sit right with me. Sound familiar?”
You laughed. You laughed so loud that everyone in the hall was looking at you like you were crazy but, how could you do anything but laugh?
“So you mean to tell me that we both ran away from home because we didn’t want to marry each other and ended up doing just that?”
“Yes.” You both started laughing, this time not so loud.
“You can’t imagine how I felt when I read your letter…” he placed his hand on your cheek and you leaned into his touch. God, you missed him so much. “As soon as I figured out who you were I picked up everything and went back home, and…” he leaned in once more to whisper to you. “I took two idiots with me.” He nodded his head to the back of him where your friends Namjoon and Hoseok stood.
“Who’s that with Hoseok?” You asked, referring to the young blond he was holding hands with.
“Ugh, don’t even ask…” He rolled his eyes and you just couldn’t help but smile. You couldn’t wait to hear him brag about how he conquered her and what he and Namjoon have been up to.
“You’ll tell me later. For now, I can’t wait to get married to you,” you kissed him on the cheek.
“Let’s do it then, Wanderer.”

Summer anime 2017
All the summer anime has premiered now, except for Hell Girl season 4 (7/14) and The Reflection (7/22), and I'm going to be away this weekend, so I might not watch Hell Girl until next week anyways. So it seems like a good time to write up some brief thoughts on the shows I watched, which is nearly all of them. The exceptions are:
HiDive exclusives, I didn't want to get another subscription
Netflix shows which won't be available legally for months (fuck you Netflix for that, at least I have the Kakegurui manga)
Sequels I hadn't watched the original of
Symphogear, which hasn't been announced by anyone yet (as of 7/13)
I didn’t actually finish the first episode of all of them, but I tried.
This ended up super long, because there are a lot of shows.
I’m going to go through these in order of premiere date, anything else is too hard to keep track of. I’ll include a note for the full length shows I didn’t watch as well.
Hina Logi: From Luck & Logic (on Crunchyroll, Saturdays at 12:00 am EDT)
This is a spinoff of Luck & Logic, which I didn’t watch, and I didn’t watch this version either. I really don’t know anything about this, you can check out the reviews on ANN.
Fox Spirit Matchmaker (on Crunchyroll, Saturdays at 9:30 am EDT)
I bailed out of this one less than 10 minutes in. It’s a bad romcom with bad animation, and I didn’t like any of the characters. I can’t recommend it at all, even if you like straight romcoms.
Kakegurui (Netflix, so probably all the episodes will be availabe early October)
First watch the OP (Sayo Yamamoto worked on it) right now: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5sahqn
I couldn’t actually watch the show, since it’s a Netflix license, but I’ve read the manga up to the latest chapter and I love it! (It’s the source of my icon). It’s very trashy, and often gay. There is a male MC, but he doesn’t really do much, and mostly exists to be the person who gets everything explained to him. Also because we never get Yumeko’s (the female MC) point of view. I highly recommend the manga and the anime.
Fate/Apocrypha (Netflix, it was announced at AX that the first batch of episodes would be available November 7th)
This is yet another Fate show, but I’ve been hearing good things. Apparently the source for this one isn’t written by Nasu, which is a point in it’s favor. I don’t really have much more to say, if you want to get into Fate stuff, I recommend Fate/Zero. I never really got into other Fate stuff.
Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu (on Crunchyroll, Saturdays at 1:00 pm EDT. Also on Anime Strike but why would you choose that over crunchyroll???)
I watched some of Touken Ranbu - Hanamaru last fall, but it didn’t really grab me. I definitely prefer the bloody action of Katsugeki to the slice-of-life comedy of Hanamaru. I also can’t keep track of the huge number of characters the game has, so Katsugeki’s focus on a small number really helps. If you like bloody action, I recommend it. It’s one of my favorites this season.
Symphogear AXZ (no announcement yet, hopefully Crunchyroll)
This is the fourth season of Symphogear, the first 3 are on Crunchyroll. I’m currently part way through the second season. It’s magical girl action with a music focus, and I enjoy it a lot more than I thought I would. The premise for this fourth season seems like it could go some bad places (read: could get very transphobic), so be warned. I’d recommend checking out the first season at least, though.
Knight’s & Magic (on Crunchyroll, Sundays at 11:00 am EDT)
This definitely wins a prize for the worst punctuation in an anime title I have seen. That being said, I enjoyed the first episode, but gave up partway through the second. It’s an isekai story based on a light novel, which is not a setup that inspires much hope in me, but I liked that the MC was reborn(?) as a child, rather than simply transported. If you like mecha shows check it out I guess?
Clean Freak! Aoyama-kun (on Crunchyroll, Sundays at 12:30 pm EDT)
This is a comedy sports anime that actually really surprised me. I’m probably not the best person to talk about it, so I highly recommend reading this review at Anime Feminist. I liked it, and I’m currently partway through the 2nd episode, and I think I might stick with it.
Battle Girl High School (on HiDive, Sundays at 12:30 pm EDT)
Not willing to get a HiDive subscription yet, and it doesn’t sound like this show is worth it. If you’re curious, check out the reviews at ANN and Anime Feminist.
Elegant Yokai Apartment Life (on Crunchyroll, Mondays at 11:30 am EDT)
This is a supernatural slice of life comedy, and while it’s not amazing in anyway, it’s not really bad either. If you really like this sort of comedy I’d recommend checking it out, but I’d probably recommend Inu x Boku Secret Service first.
LOVE and LIES (on Anime Strike in the US, and HiDive in some other territories, Mondays at 12:00 pm EDT)
I did not like this show. It wasn’t actually painful to watch, so I finished the first episode, but I will not be watching more. The premise is based on the idea that Japan starts assigning marriage partners when kids turn 16 based on some sort of compatibility in order to fight dropping birthrates. Actually, the show specifically mentions genetic compatibility, and the whole premise has a very eugenics feel to it. On top of that, this setting is being used for a romcom. There are probably some interesting stories that could be told with this setup, but a straight romcom is not one of them. All this being said, I’m definitely watching people’s twitter reactions to the show going forward, because I’m sort of curious what kind of trainwreck this might become.
Restaurant to Another World (on Crunchyroll, Mondays at 2:05 pm EDT)
This show was definitely very nice to look at, but I just couldn’t get invested in it. If you want a peaceful show about a restaurant that opens to a fantasy world once a week, then check it out. My favorite part was the dragon lapping stew from a pot, tiny in comparison to her.
Aho Girl (on Crunchyroll, Tuesdays at 11:30 am EDT)
(short-form, 13 minutes) Even though this is a short, I still couldn’t make it all the way to the end of the first episode. It’s very 2000′s style super fast comedy, and feels super mean spirited.
Tsuredure Children (on Crunchyroll, Tuesdays at 11:45 am EDT)
(short-form, 13 minutes) I finished this one, which was mostly cute vignettes about straight highschoolers in love, but the 3rd one made me feel really uncomfortable. Not planning on watching more.
Fastest Finger First (on Crunchyroll, Tuesdays at 3:30 pm EDT)
This is a show about kids doing quiz bowl, which wasn’t a thing at my school, but this is probably the closest I’ll ever get to a math competition anime. The main character was likable enough, though the girl was more interesting. This feels like it might become a girl who is experienced at x teaches boy how to x, and he is the best ever at x, sort of thing. I do want to check out the second episode though. An interesting thing to me was the voice of the girl. She’s apparently a rookie voice actress, and sounds very different from the typical anime high school girl voice.
Netsuzou Trap -NTR- (on Crunchyroll, Wednesdays at 8:30 am EDT)
(short-form, 9 minutes) This show is super super SUPER trashy yuri, and I loved it. I can’t really recommend it, but I’m definitely sticking with it.
Saiyuki Reload Blast (on Crunchyroll, Wednesdays at 11:00 am EDT)
This is an adaptation of the latest Saiyuki manga. I have never read or watched any Saiyuki before, but I watched this episode. It had a very 00′s feel to it, from the character designs to the dialogue. I imagine that this is the sort of thing that you watch if you already like Saiyuki, or maybe if you miss the feel of anime from the early 00′s. I’m not sticking with it.
Dive!! (on Anime Strike, Thursdays at sometime, anime strike is bad at sharing details)
I wanted to like this show, but it just wasn’t good. It’s very clearly trying to get the Free! crowd, but is hindered by bad animation and boring story. It’s this season’s Noitamina show, by the way. The most notable thing about it for me, was that it actually managed to trigger my fear of heights, which I don’t think has ever happened to me with an anime before. I think it must be because diving (off a 10 ft board) was a real thing I was too scared to do (and probably still am too scared to do).
Convenience Store Boy Friends (on Crunchyroll, Thursdays at 3:05 pm EDT)
This feels like the most boring possible show you could make from it’s title. You could have personified stores, personified products, but instead it’s just a quite boring highschool romance. They don’t even work at a convenience store! They just occasional stop by there! Also the guys working there looked way more interesting than any of the main characters. Possibly the most boring premiere I watched all the way through.
Action Heroine Cheer Fruits (on HiDive, Mondays at 9:00 am EDT)
I didn’t watch this one because it was a HiDive exclusive, but I’ve actually read a lot of good things about it, which is not what I would have expected with that name. Still not worth the HiDive subscription though. You can check out the review at ANN and Anime Feminist.
Made in Abyss (on Anime Strike in the US, and HiDive in some other territories, Fridays at 10:00 am EDT)
This was a super beautiful premiere. It’s a really gorgeous looking fantasy series. It didn’t completely grab me, but I think that’s because it requires me to be in a mode where I can actually give it full focus, which makes it harder to watch. I can’t recommend this show yet, however, because I have heard that the manga goes really bad places. I’ve heard that the first episode already removed some of the skeevy stuff, but I can’t recommend this until I can see where it goes.
18if (on Crunchyroll, Fridays at 10:00 am EDT)
I gave up about 10 minutes into this one. It’s a very dream sequency show, but it doesn’t have the animation quality or pacing to make it work for me. If you like surreal stuff in general, I’d say check it out to see whether it grabs you, but know that it might just feel really boring.
Vatican Miracle Examiner (on Anime Strike in the US, and HiDive in some other territories, Fridays at 11:00 am EDT)
I fucking loved this!!!!! It’s my favorite premiere so far, and I can’t wait for more. It’s not a good show, but it’s super fun. This review at Anime Feminist explains what I like about the show. It has the feel of some of my favorite stuff from the early 00′s, and it’s super campy, and I love it.
Chronos Ruler (on Crunchyroll, Sundays at 3:00 pm EDT)
This is not a good show. It has super bad animation, convoluted plot, overly expository and over dramatic dialogue (ok, half these things were also true of Vatican Miracle Examiner, I admit). I finished the whole episode, but I really have zero interest in watching more. It just isn’t offering anything that other shows aren’t doing better this season.
Altair: A Record of Battles (on Anime Strike, Fridays at sometime)
This is a very good show, but on that I really need brainpower to watch, which means that I will probably drop it at some point. It’s very nice looking, and I love political intrigue, but it doesn’t feel like easy watching. Check it out if you enjoy political intrigue stuff.
Hitorijime My Hero (on Anime Strike in the US, HiDive in some other territories, Saturdays at 11:00 am EDT)
This was decent BL. Not good, but not terrible either. The main couple is a student-teacher relationship, so be warned of that, I guess. It just felt super plain  to me. Also super confusing. The first episode felt like it jumped around a lot chronologically, and it was really hard to understand what order things happened in. I’m not continuing with it.
Welcome to the Ballroom (on Anime Strike, Sundays(?) at sometime)
I watched the early premier of this on Twitch, which had desynced subtitles, which was super annoying. I don’t know if that’s still true of the version up on anime strike, but it’s frustrating that this is still a problem for them. And with a hyped up premiere as well!!! The show itself is a shonen sports anime about ballroom dancing. The character designs are very lanky and weird looking, but I sort of like the style. It just didn’t really grab me. I think I didn’t like the main character enough to care about him. And that I don’t care about ballroom dancing at all.
A Centaur’s Life (on Crunchyroll, Sundays at 10:30 am EDT)
This was a sort of weird show. It starts off with a lesbian kiss, and does a school comedy sort of things for the first half. The second half is that plus world building, which brings in a bunch of weirdly dystopian elements. Like talking about past injustices being illegal. So I’m going to keep on watching this for the little gay bits and to see where the hell it’s going.
Princess Principal (on Anime Strike in the US, HiDive in some other territories, Sundays at 10:30 am EDT)
I really loved this. It’s a spy show about girls, so I’m not at all surprised, but it’s still a nice feeling. The OP has hints of gayness, which is good. And the show in general is a fun spy show. It’s like what I wish Joker Game had been. I really recommend checking this one out. It’s another one of my favorites.
Angel’s 3Piece! (on Crunchyroll, Mondays at 8:30 am EDT)
This most frustrating thing about this is how good is was for a lot of it. Like I wasn’t expecting anything from the summary, but then the first half of the show was pretty neat, and the music was good, but it’s by the author of Ro-Kyu-Bu, which should have told me everything I needed to know. As should the episode title: “Heart Throbbing for Elementary School Kids!” That title probably says everything you need to know.
In Another World with my Smartphone (on Crunchyroll, Tuesdays at 9:00 am EDT)
I gave up on this one super quickly. I just don’t care about another dude dying and going to a fantasy world and suddenly getting a harem. I just don’t.
New Game!! (on Crunchyroll, Tuesdays at 10:00 am EDT)
Sequel to New Game!, which I never finished. It was a cute show about women making games though. Maybe I should try to watch more of it sometime. ANN has a review of the first episode of this.
The Irresponsible Galaxy Tylor (on Crunchyroll, Wednesdays at 12:30 pm EDT)
(short-form, 3 minutes) I guess this is related to The Irresponsible Captain Tylor? I never watched that either. I watched this, but didn’t really pay much attention. I guess if you watched the original thing check this out???
Magical Circle Guru Guru (on Crunchyroll, Tuesdays at 2:05 pm EDT)
So apparently there was an older version of this that aired in 1994, but this is a complete reboot, not a sequel, so you don’t need any familiarity with the original. The sense of humor reminded me a lot of Senyu, with a heavy focus on classic rpg video game elements as well. It’s a very fast paced shouty sort of humor, but it was a fun first episode. It didn’t really do anything I haven’t seen before, so I’m probably dropping it.
Light of the Clione (on Anime Strike, Tuesdays(?) at sometime)
(short-form, 9 minutes) I was interested in this one based on what I read of the premise, but so far it’s been two students feeling sorry for, but not helping, a girl getting bullied. Since it’s a short, it has a much lower bar to clear for me to stick with it, so I probably will. The character designs feel sort of off, though, and the animation isn’t very good.
Ikemen Sengoku: Bromances Across Time (on Crunchyroll, Wednesdays at 10:45 am EDT)
(short-form, 5 minutes) CG short about a dude who gets transported back in time. Based on an otome game, apparently. Otome games need more full length adaptations, they keep on getting these short form series instead. Anyways, this show doesn’t really have anything to recommend it.
Nora, Princess, and Stray Cat (on Crunchyroll, Wednesdays at 11:15 am EDT)
(short-form, 4 minutes) Cute short that has a harem set up, accept someone transformed the boy into a cat, and no one knows how to turn him back. Funny, cute, and short enough for me to keep watching.
My First Girlfriend is a Gal (on Crunchyroll, Wednesdays at 11:30 am EDT)
This show is not good. You should watch Please Tell Me! Galko-chan instead. Seriously, the most interesting part of this show is the bedazzled censorship objects. I bailed out about five minutes in, because I couldn’t stand the main character and his friends. There is nothing to recommend this show. Even if you want weird censorship items, you can watch Seven Mortal Sins instead.
Classroom of the Elite (on Crunchyroll, Wednesdays at 12:00 pm EDT)
I was expecting to quit out of this show partway through, since it really didn’t look at all interesting to me. I also hated the first five minutes or so. But I actually really liked the rapport between the two main characters, probably because it reminds me of My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU. I curious to see where the main plot heads as well. I think it’s worth getting through the opening to see what the show has to offer, because it definitely got better after that.
GAMERS! (on Crunchyroll, Thursdays at 11:30 am EDT)
This is another show I was expected to not make it all he way through, but instead I really liked it. It’s about a high school gaming club, and the super popular girl trying to recruit the main character to join. I think what really worked for me was how relatable the main character felt at times. He’s a “casual” gamer, and feels really intimidated by how intense the club members are. I really understand that feeling. I’m looking forward to more of this show.
And that’s it! I’ll probably wait to write about Hell Girl and The Reflection until after both of them air, at which point I’ll also have a better idea of what shows I’m actually going to keep.

My FT questions answers
So regarding my previous post here are my answers to my Fairy Tail Questionnaire.
1.  How did you first heard about Fairy Tail?
From my friend Beth. I saw how much she liked it and when she suggested that I check it out I did. I have been hooked ever since. And it’s become my favorite anime of all time, because I never have been more emotionally invested in an anime before.
2. Do read the manga, watch the anime, or both?
I do both. Haven’t been watching the anime lately, but I’ve been keeping up with the manga now. BUT I HATE SPOILERS, SO DON’T TELL ME ANYTHING UNTIL THE TRANSLATION COMES OUT!
3. Who are your favorite character(s)?
I really love all of them, but my top 3 are:
Levy McGarden, I like her because she’s a fellow bookworm, she’s cute, intelligent, and really needs to be the focus more often. Pantherlily. I love how he can go from this big creature, yet can change back into this small cute thing. He’s bad ass and adorable. I call him Badorable. And really my absolute favorite character is Gajeel Redfox. I could really talk for hours on why he’s my favorite, but to sum up I like him because he’s a complex character.
A Complex character, also known as a Dynamic character or a Round character displays the following characteristics:
He or she undergoes an important change as the plot unfolds.
The changes he or she experiences occur because of his or her actions or experiences in the story.
Changes in the character may be good or bad.
The character is highly developed and complex, meaning they have a variety of traits and different sides to their personality.
Some of their character traits may create conflict in the character.
He or she displays strengths, weaknesses, and a full range of emotions.
He or she has significant interactions with other characters.
He or she advances the plot or develops a major theme in the text.
Gajeel has done most of those things on that list.
And to be honest when he first appeared I really didn’t hate him. Yes what he did was wrong, especially regarding Team Shadowgear, but I had this small feeling, ever since I found out that he was a Dragon Slayer that he was going to be an ally to Fairy Tail, never expected him to join though. I’m so glad he did!
4. What is a character or characters that you absolutely hate? And not even love to hate, you wish they were never in the story to begin with.
Future Rogue. That bastard kill Future Lucy, and I will never forgive him for that. Even if he apologized. Seriously I cried so hard when I watched that part in the anime.
5. Do you own any FT merchandise?
The first 20 volumes of the manga, a Capricorn key charm, Natsu plush, Lily plush, small Happy loaf plush or Tsum Tsum, a Mirajane keychain, a Gajeel keychain, a notebook, exceed bracelet, a FT symbol keychain, a wallet, and 2 T-shirts.
I think that’s it.
6. What is your favorite opening?
I have 3.
Snow Fairy ( the first and probably the most recognizable)
https://youtu.be/T2dy-atGDyg
Rock City Boy ( Fun fact the singer is actually American, but he lived most of his life in Japan)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LX3v651Ip8E
I wish ( I like this one because it’s the only one where I think I could do a cover of it. It’s in my vocal range)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTDpmFv4Ovc
Honorable mention goes to the 1st movie’s opening 200 Miles.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=br0zVupkx-c
7. What is your favorite ending?
Be as One
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8n5em5vZoaQ
You, He, Me, and She
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=470d_pi1F3w
8. What is your favorite character song?
Well, since Gajeel is my favorite character, my fave character song, is his song My Iron Blues. It’s awesome, fun to sway to, has female back up singers, and I like his singing very much.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdS93Qp9H84
Also for you Yuri on Ice fans, this the same guy who sings You Only Live Once
You’re welcome for that random piece of trivia.
9.What is your favorite instrumental track?
Any version of the main theme.
Original https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6kb96YWXMA
Slow  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Loi4bYzXvAw
Piano https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qk2jYmZerD8
Metal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiT8Ct0cQzM
Tenroujima https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=At_zB-pK3JQ
I also like Dragon Slayer  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJoKUq8j1Ns
Natsu’s theme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhevjjbvWmw
Lucy’s theme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L26TQP7Qe9I
Happy’s theme  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAIFonqW4SY
One thing I love about FT’s music is the Celtic feel to it. My family is Irish and Scottish, so it makes me think of my heritage.
10. What are your FT ships?
I ship:
Nalu (Natsu x Lucy)
Gruvia (Gray x Juvia)
Jerza (Jellal x Erza)
Elfgreen (Elfman x Evergreen)
Laxana (Laxus x Cana)
RoWen (Romeo x Wendy)
LoRies (Loke x Aries)
Albis (Alzack x Bisca)
Rerry (Ren x Sherry)
Cappy (Carla x Happy)
Kinbara (Erik x Kinana)
StingYu (Sting x Yukino)
But my OTP for the series is Gajevy (Gajeel x Levy, which is canon now! YAY! )
11. What is an unpopular opinion you have aka something that you do that is not normal to the FT fandom?
I’m a NaLu fan that does not hate Lisanna at all. I hate how so many Nalu fans hate her just because she “gets in the way of NaLu”.
That’s one thing that bothers me with any fandom. When people hate on a character just because they get in they way of their precious OTP.
I’ve said it before, but I think that is a stupid reason to hate a character. If the only reason you hate a character is because they ruin a ship for you, kindly go back into your small corner of the world, where you can bitch and complain all you want like the immature brat that you are.
The rest of us adults, are going to ship what we want, and respect each other’s choices, and not hate on character solely for that purpose.
Lisanna did nothing wrong, and all those fan fics that portray her as this bitchy chick who “steals” Natsu from Lucy and makes Lucy all depressed and shit makes me want to gouge my eyes out every time I read one.
I respect the fact that some people don’t ship NaLu, I respect the fact that I don’t ship NaLi.
NOW CAN WE PLEASE ALL JUST GET ALONG AND BE NAKAMA LIKE WE’RE SUPPOSED TO BE?!
12. Do you draw/write FT fan art or fan fiction?
Yes, check out my DA here http://purplekatz93.deviantart.com/gallery/42409453/Fairy-Tail
Maybe I’ll post stuff here soon, old and new.
13. What is one thing about FT that pisses you off?
So many unanswered questions, for example WHERE THE HELL IS LAXUS’S MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER?! I KNOW HOW BABIES ARE MADE SO HOW THE HELL CAN IVAN AND LAXUS EXIST WITHOUT A MOTHER?!
At least we know about Makarov’s mom now.
And we do know more of the dragon slayers’ past, but I still have my headcanons about their biological parents, or at least Gajeel and Wendy’s. Like how Metalicana and Grandeeny found them. Let me know if you want to hear them. Bear in mind they are quite depressing.Don’t have any for Sting and Rouge. And as for Natsu, well I did have one, but that went out the window and I think you know why.
14. If you could put the FT cast into another show what would it be and why?
It’s a weird choice but I chose Scrubs. I could just see it. Natsu=JD (It be funny to see Natsu have all those crazy daydreams, wouldn’t it?) Lucy=Elliot (If Natsu and Lucy did live in another universe, I think they would be an on again off again couple until they were ready to be with each other.) Juvia=Carla (Putting Carla as Carla would be too obvious, and I know it doesn’t exactly match up, but I have this headcanon that Juvia can speak Spanish, because Juvia;s name is the Japanese spelling for the Spanish word rain or  lluvia) Gray=Turk (I know it doesn’t really fit, but had to keep him and Juvia together.) Laxus= Dr,Cox (Can you just imagine how funny it be if Laxus did a Cox rant?) Cana=Jordan (I feel a relationship between Laxus and Cana would be like the one Jordan has with Dr.Cox) Gajeel=Janitor (One of the best characters in the show, and it be funny to see Gajeel prank Natsu) Levy=Lady (She’s the Janitor’s girlfriend and later wife in Season 8) Hades= Dr. Kelso (Hades is evil but a recent chapter in the Tartarus arc showed that he kind of still has a heart, so that’s why I picked him)
Freed=Ted (I just think it be funny)
Loke=The Todd (both are bit of playboys and be funny to see Loke question his sexuality) I do have others, but they’re only characters that appeared in one or two seasons so I’m not going to bother.
15. What are some musicals you put the FT cast in? (I only put this question in cause I’m a theatre geek)
Shrek the musical
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast
Hairspray
Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper
Barbie as the Island Princess
Barbie and the Diamond Castle
If you want I can tell you who I would have play each part. Some I’m still figuring out, so not all roles have been cast yet.
16. Do you cosplay or plan on cosplaying any of the characters?
I cosplay as Mira(no pictures available) and Levy which I do have pictures of on my DeviantART account. Let me know if you want to see it.
I’m gonna post it on here soon.
Now all I need is a Gajeel.
17. What are your favorite arcs?
Phantom Lord, Fighting Festival, Edolas, Tenrou Island, Key of the Starry Sky, Grand Magic Games, and Alvarez. What do they all have in common? There is focus on Gajeel in all of them. Some more than others.
18. If you could join any guild what would it be?
Fairy Tail, duh.
19. Have any FCs?
Yes,  Valerie Saline who you can learn more about here http://purplekatz93.deviantart.com/art/Fairy-Tail-OC-Bio-361202036\
http://purplekatz93.deviantart.com/art/Valerie-FT-OC-1-353209499

Conor and Olivia (Gajevy kids, they’re the older siblings of the canon Gajevy twins. Although they’re born years later when Conor and Olivia are much older. In my FT future they were a surprise aka they were not planned. BTW do they have names? I keep trying to look it up, but come up with nothing. The FT wiki literally has nothing about the light novel they debut in http://fairytail.wikia.com/wiki/Fairy_Tail_3:_Trouble_Twins
Actually they have barely anything about the light novels expect for like the first one.) http://purplekatz93.deviantart.com/art/GaLe-Kids-360992447

http://purplekatz93.deviantart.com/art/Chibi-Jerza-Kids-397664727
If you’re wondering why they look nothing like Jellal and Erza, it’s because they’re adopted.
20. If you were a wizard what kind of magic would you use?
Singing magic, like a Siren. I would sing and hypnotize people and when there out of it, attack them.
21. What is a magic item you would like to have?
A light pen http://fairytail.wikia.com/wiki/Light_Pen  It be fun to draw/write in thin air.
22. Did you enjoy this questionnaire?
I sure did, seeing how I created it.
Oh and let me take this opportunity to talk about something else FT related.
I have the Todd Haberkorn (the Eng VA of Natsu 3 times at different cons)
Here’s proof http://purplekatz93.deviantart.com/art/I-TOLD-YOU-SO-463572927
And here’s some autographs he gave me I don’t have a picture of the third one up yet

Wi-Fi technology – an uncontrolled global experiment on the health of mankind
Marko Markov1 & Yuri G. Grigoriev2
1Research International, Williamsville, NY, USA, and 2Russian National Committee of Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection, Moscow, Russia
The twenty-first century is marked with exponentially increasing development of technologies that provide wireless communications. To the pollution of the atmosphere with radio and TV signals, not only satellite communications but also any varieties of the Wi-Fi networks are added. By 2010 in the USA, 285 million mobile phone subscribers have been registered (for a little bit more than 300 million inhabitants). The estimate for the world is more than 5 billion mobile phone users at approximately 7 billion people living on this planet. Approximately 2 years ago, the International Agency of Research on Cancer (IARC) classified the electromagnetic fields used in mobile communication as a possible cancerogene. This paper discusses the potential health hazard and lack of scientific assessment and regulatory actions in protection of the life on the planet.
Keywords: WiFi, pollution, hazard, Radiofrequency electromagnetic fields
The problem: Ionizing versus nonionizing radiation
Contemporary science is increasingly using and investigating two physical factors such as ionizing and nonionizing radiation, with an attempt t? search for common mechanisms of action and evaluation of the public benefit and health hazard. What is common here is the word “radiation.” However, from the viewpoint of physics, these are two different factors that might be found in an environment. Importantly, they act simultaneously, but are discussed separately, entirely neglecting the existing background of the other factor.
It has been well established that ionizing radiation usually provokes effects based on energetic mechanisms and ionization of tissues. This action is characterized with threshold levels and could develop within short time after irradiation. Speaking on ionizing radiation, scientists and public health experts, based on decades of investigation, have come to know about a large variety of unfavorable, potentially harmful effects that developed hours (sometimes days) after irradiation. This was well confirmed in the evaluation of health effects and care for personnel and population after Chernobyl accident a quarter of century ago (Grigoriev, 2012a,b; Sage, 2012). Throughout the world, interest was also excited by the recent Fukushima disaster in March 2011.

Shortly speaking, for ionizing radiation situation might be summarized as follow:
.  radiobiology set lines of standards for limited exposure to ionizing radiation,
.  research and monitoring of ionizing radiation,
.  mapping of natural sources of ionizing radiation (IR),
.  use of radioactive isotopes in medicine and technology.
Of course, everything here is in “normal” condition and is not related to potential and occurred catastrophes. Do we know enough about ionizing radiation? Probably not. However, there is a continuous improvement in standards and monitoring methods and technology developed by radiobiology and industry.
What do we know about nonionizing radiation? Basically NOTHING. Even the simplest and longer studied behavior of natural magnetic, electric and electromag- netic fields (EMFs) is far of complete knowledge. On the other hand, the planet is exposed to various EMFs with space origin. The most sophisticated analysis of the evolution of biosphere from the viewpoint of space–earth relationships was done by Chizevskii long time ago. More than 45 years ago, a brilliant Soviet magnetobiologist Kholodov (1976) wrote a book “Man in the magnetic web.” Long before the occurrence of mobile communications, Kholodov pointed out that the entire biosphere is immersed in the ocean of the electromagnetic waves.
However, this is just a part of the problem. The fast development of satellite communications, followed by wireless communications and recently Wi-Fi technology dramatically, changes the electromagnetic environment. To continuous action of complex and unknown (by sources, amplitudes, frequencies) electromag- netic fields is exposed entire biosphere and every organism living on this planet. We usually neglect this complex that includes radio and TV transmissions, satellite signals, mobile phones and base stations and wireless communications.
Speaking on the potential hazard of Wi-Fi technologies, one should not forget that it includes not only mobile phones but also more importantly all means of emitters and distributors of Wi-Fi signals, mainly antennas, base stations and satellites. In many public locations, own systems are introduced in order to facilitate the work performance. Well, this might be understood. However, why Wi-Fi communications are secured in the subway tunnels? It obviously requires high and oriented power to which are exposed all passengers in the trains. Just to make comfortable the users of mobile phones or other WiFi gadgets.
The search for specificity of the Wi-Fi technology can point to the following:
.  Popular technology that allows an electronic device to exchange data wirelessly (using radio waves) over a computer network, including high-speed Internet.
.  A device that uses Wi-Fi can connect to a network resource such as the Internet
via a wireless network access point. Such an access point has a range of about 20 m (65 ft) indoors and a greater range outdoors.
As a result,
.  brains of 7,000,000,000 people are exposed to unknown spectrum of EMF,
.  there are no criteria for hazard,
.  no monitoring,
.  no research and
.  no prevention. Generally speaking, we do not know if or to which extent the Wi-Fi radiation alters
the physiology of normal, healthy organisms. The situation became more complex

when we are asking about the influence on children, on aging adults or sick individuals. Especially for children we should point that:
. children are exposed to all spectrum of EMF that polluted the biosphere, . who is brave enough to say that Wi-Fi cannot influence the children’s brain which
is still underdeveloped, . children are prone to electronic toys – cell phones and wireless games.
EMFs in biosphere
For the nonionizing radiation very rarely, one could never say that effects can be seen during irradiation or shortly after it and do not develop in similarity with the effects of ionizing radiation. Even when “thermal” mechanisms and specific absorption rate (SAR) approach are considered, necessity of certain time was also recognized to develop and manifest effects (Markov, 2006).
Our long experience in radiobiology and magnetobiology allows us to affirm that biological effects of EMFs are nonthermal and have to be discussed from the low- energy considerations, such as conformational changes in biological structures, effects on signal-transduction cascade, as well as in their manifestations on the level of important biomolecules. More likely, the effects of EMF have informational character and because of that it needs certain time to manifest itself and initiate further changes in biochemistry and physiology (Markov, 2012).
After 1976, two serious problems immersed in the public health discussion – potential hazard of low-frequency EMF from power and distribution lines (in the late 1970s and 1980s) and mobile communications (mobile phones, Wi-Fi Internet and base stations) that utilize high-frequency EMF and represent a serious hazard for public health today. One of the authors stressed, today the mankind participates in a global experiment conducted by the industry without regulation, rules and control (Grigoriev, 2012b).
During the last two decades, wireless communications (cell phones, Internet and Wi-Fi technology) became the fastest developing technology that spread around the world. It is close to 5 billion mobile phones registered in both developed and developing countries. In addition to the users of these technologies, the entire world population is exposed to exponentially increasing radiofrequency (RF) radiation from base stations and satellite antennas.
Being in public space, such as schools, transportation, supermarkets and hospitals, one may see that nearly any young person is caring or handling electronic device from portable electronic games to the last edition of smart phone. This is what contemporary technology and industry offered as an advance of civilization. The question is “At what price?”
The cellular telephone delivers a power density of RF radiation about 2 billion times greater than that occurring naturally in the environment. Since the mobile phones are designed to operate at the side of the user’s head, a large part of the transmitted energy is radiated directly into that person’s brain. The absorbed energy potentially could cause dangerous and damaging biological effects within the brain. The small cellular telephones effectively deposit large amount of energy into small areas of the user’s head and brain.
The problem of EMF emission and absorption
It should be reasonable to mention that this problem, which has aggravated by the time, is not new. In 1995, Kane stated “Never in human history has there been such a
Electromagnetic Biology and Medicine
practice as we now encounter with the marketing and distributing of products hostile to the human biological system by an industry with foreknowledge of those effects”. What may be added to this powerful statement – R. Kane was high level Motorola executive.
One of the first papers on the absorption of electromagnetic energy was published by Schwan & Piersol (1954), in which they connected this absorption with the tissue composition. It is important to note that tissue composition is a very complex one and varies from organ to organ from person to person. From biophysics point of view, the energy absorption also depends on the depth of penetration for the specific frequency range (for 825–845MHz the penetration depth into the brain tissue is from 2 to 3.8 cm) (Polk & Postow, 1986).
Forty years ago, Michaelson (1972) wrote
It should be understood that a cumulative effect is the accumulation of damage resulting from repeated exposures each of which is individually capable of producing some small degree of damage. In other words, a single exposure can result in covert thermal injury, but the incurred damage repairs itself within a sufficient time period, for example hours or days, and therefore is reversible and does not advance to a noticeable permanent, or semi-permanent state. If a second exposure or several repetitive exposures take place at time intervals shorter than that needed for repair, damage can advance to a noticeable stage.
In other words, the repeated irritation of a particular biological area, such as a small region of the brain, can lead to irreparable damage. Given the existence of energy absorption, “hot spots” and then each damaging exposure to RF radiation provide a new opportunity that the damage will become permanent. Part of the problem is that an exposed person would never know of the penetration and damage.
As seen above, the basic science from the 1950s to 1990s reported evidence that high-frequency EMF can have harmful effects on human organisms especially on human brain. It has been even detailed with respect to the frequency range: 900– 2500 MHz. Number of studies had pointed out that electromagnetic energy in the 900 MHz region may be more harmful because of its greater penetrating capability compared to 2450 MHz; therefore, more energy in the 900 MHz frequency range is deposited deeply within the biological tissue. In 1976, Lin concluded that 918 MHz energy constitutes a greater health hazard to the human brain than does 2450 MHz energy for a similar incident power density (Lin, 1976).
Let us remind that studies of diathermy applications consistently show that electromagnetic energy at frequencies near and below 900 MHz is best suited for deep penetration into brain tissue. The depth of penetration is noticeably greater at this frequency range, which includes the portable cellular phone frequencies as compared with higher frequencies. Of importance it was also proven that deep tissue heating is obtained without detecting significant heating in the surface tissues. By their nature, the frequencies that provide the best therapeutic heating would also be the frequencies that could be most hazardous to man in an uncontrolled situation. High absorption occurs in the inner tissue such as the brain while fat and bone absorption is many times less (Johnson & Guy, 1972).
Since the human brain has little, if any, sensory capability, damage or trauma occurring internally will not be felt until the effects, such as heating, are so severe that they work their way outward. If tissue damage occurs within a localized region of the brain it may be completely unnoticed. The threshold for irreversible skin damage is about 45 C which is also the temperature at which pain is felt. So, by the time a person, exposed to RF radiation, feels pain at the skin that skin is irreversibly

damaged, as is the deeper tissue beneath the skin. Similarly, internal heating of the brain tissue would not be sensed as a burning sensation. Likely, there would be no sensation at all. Interest in the ability to “sense” the presence of high levels of RF radiation motivated researchers to determine threshold levels for detecting heat sensations due to radiation exposure (Justensen, 1982).
An obvious question arises: if science had developed such knowledge decades ago why today these questions are not at the priority list for research? We would point here two major reasons: the political power of the industry and the failure of the scientific community.
The major standards and guidelines established by the engineering community, Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) in 2005 and International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) in 2009, provide approach and terminology which are not accepted by physics and biological communities, but nevertheless remain the guiding rules (mainly for the industry). One can only wonder how is it possible to speak about potential “health effects” of RF instead of “health hazard.” The misuse of the term “health effect” is probably done on purpose not to alarm the general public about the hazard of the use of microwave radiation in close proximity to the human brain.
It has been pointed elsewhere (Markov, 2006) that the engineering committees that state “Nonthermal RF biological effects have not been established” basically are guiding science and society into wrong direction. Declining the possibility of nonthermal effects is not reasonable, but more important is that they mixed “effect” and “hazard.” In magnetobiology literature, hundreds of papers have been published discussing the genotoxicity and modifications in DNA and other important biological molecules. In the paper of Israel, Zaryabova, and Ivanova (2013), it was correctly pointed out that even the definition of the thermal effect by these international bodies is not accurate.
The epidemiological teams claim that “there is no consistent evidence for the occurrence of the modification.” They also state that “there is no conclusive and consistent evidence that nonionizing radiation emitted by cell phone is associated with cancer risk” (Boice & Tarone, 2011). It is remarkable that this paper was published after International Agency of Research on Cancer (IARC) defined RF as “possible cancerogenic for humans.”
In a recent paper (Markov, 2012), we discussed the fact that the long-delayed publication of the INTERPHONE data resulted in the strange situation: two groups of participants in the project published two papers that basically contradict each other. Another critical point of consideration is the fact that the energy absorption characteristics that make the 750 and 915MHz frequencies so desirable for hyperthermia and diathermy treatments have the very same absorption character- istics that make the 825–845MHz cellular telephone transmit band so dangerous (Kane, 1995).
For more than half a century, a very serious group of policy-makers and even scientists are playing around the term SAR. The SAR given in terms of Watts per kilogram (W/kg) or milliwatts per gram (mW/g) is assumed to provide a measure of absorbed energy in a given tissue. Absorption, not delivery. This term is particularly advantageous for the industry since the energy absorption in biological bodies and specific organs is nonuniform and frequency dependent. However, until today SAR is more often used to describe the energy delivered by the source of the EMF. One can only wonder how a device may be characterized by the SAR. To repeat, the SAR identifies the amount of energy that is absorbed in a gram of tissue.
The inappropriate use of the SAR leads proponents of Wi-Fi technology to affirm that since there is no heating of brain by RF EMF, there is no hazard for the human

brain, completely neglecting the fact that most of the biological effects are nonthermal. We are convinced that the safety standards would need to be restated in terms of internal energy absorption.
Wi-Fi and mobile communications effects on children
To the large range of high-frequency electromagnetic fields is exposed any age group – from babies to very old people, most of which do not have interest toward mobile communications. This is extremely dangerous especially for children who use mobile phones from early age without any control from the site of their parents.
In evaluation of the mobile phone EMF hazard for children, the main problem is the direct effect of the EMF on the brain of the child, which is the critical organ. One should remember that the child’s brain is still in process of the physiological development. Moreover, using the mobile phones children expose to EMF daily and in duration of years not only brain, but the complex nerve structures in the internal year that are responsible for normal functioning of the hearing and of the vestibular analyzers (Grigoriev, 2006a,b, 2012b).
We discuss the basic principles for the estimation of the hazard of microwave EMF for this part of population who most frequently use contemporary modalities of the wireless communications – children and young adults.
.  For the first time in the history of our civilization, the most critical systems in human organism – brain and the nerve structures – inside the internal year of children and adults are exposed to complicated and unknown exposure to EMF.
.  Due to physiological reasons, the brain of a child exhibited higher rates of specific absorption of EMF compared with adult’s brain. Thus, more compartments of the brain are exposed to high-frequency EMF, including those responsible for intellectual development. Recently, data about unfavorable influence of the EMF on the cognitive function of the brain have been published (Grigoriev, 2012b).
.  Once again, children’s brain is in the stage of physiological development and formation of the analytical function could be inhibited, including the development of pathological functions, such as epileptic syndrome (Grigoriev & Sidorenko, 2011).
.  Children became owners of the mobile phones and other uncontrolled sources of EMF.
.  Due to the age specificity, children cannot evaluate the potential hazard of the mobile phone. Rather they consider it as a wonderful tool for communication and entertainment.
.  Taking into account the technological development in the wireless communi- cations, it will be fair to say that children at the age of 3–4 will be using mobile communication longer than their parents with respect to their entire life. There is evidence that today the children and young adults are the most aggressive users of mobile communications and Wi-Fi technology.
.  It is unfortunate that with support and encouragement of parents these two groups are exposed for long hours to uncontrolled influence of EMF in RF range.
In addition, as shown by Divan, Kheifets, and Obel (2008), today one cannot neglect the fact that even during the embryonic development the child organism could be exposed to electromagnetic influence.
It is reasonable to remind the position of the WHO “CHILDREN ARE DIFFERENT FROM ADULTS.” Children have a unique vulnerability. As they grow and develop,

there are “windows of susceptibility”: periods when their organs and systems may be particularly sensitive to the effect of certain environmental threats (WHO, 2003, 5p.).
Unfortunately, there is lack of scientific data and analysis of the estimation of the potential hazard of mobile communications. Nobody investigates thoroughly the potential damages in the brain of children, which potentially could occur in their developing brain (Markov, 2012). Studies of potential of development of the long-range modification of the brain functions in children whose brain have been exposed to continuous irradiation with high-frequency EMF are completely absent. Therefore, we should start from zero. At the same time, international and governmental agencies responsible for standards are slow in responding to the exponential growth of technologies and in principle completely neglect the hazard for children (Grigoriev, 2008; Markov, 2012).
More than 10 years ago, at the WHO organized meeting on harmonization of standards one of the authors pointed out that neglecting the hazard of high- frequency EMF for children is a crime against humanity (Markov, 2001).
It should be stressed that at ionizing radiation the dose/effect dependence is present in any case of consideration, while with nonionizing radiation the threshold effect is basically absent, the occurrence of bioeffects needs some time to develop and might be diminished or enlarge by modulation (Grigoriev, 2006,a,b).
It is unfortunate that until now scientists, politicians and lawmakers under- estimate the unfavorable effects on human health that may occur as a result of long, continuous exposure to nonionizing radiation (often exposure from different factors). The other problem arises from the engineering community, which forces the notion that nonthermal effects are only of importance.
We believe that scientific community must be more insisting in comprehen- sion of potential hazard that mobile exchange of information is potentially invoked in human organisms. In that aspect, it is very important that the IARC classified the RF EMF as a possible cancerogene (2B). It is important to note that for less than two years this major International Agency switched from “no conclusive evidence for health hazard” to “possible cancerogene”. At the same time, ICNIRP continues to affirm that “the trend in the accumulating evidence is against the hypothesis that mobile phones can cause brain tumors in adults” (Boice & Tarone, 2011).
A question eventually arises “Why ICNIRP takes this position?” We may offer two different, but eventually complimentary answers: first, most of the funding for ICNIRP is coming from industry and second, eventually more important – most of the members of ICNIRP are engineers for whom only thermal effects may cause biological effects.
It is time that scientific community in general as well as radiobiologists and magnetobiologist rings the bell that it is time to recognize and estimate the potential hazard for human health of the increasingly elevated background radiation levels.
In 2003, IEEE published a standard that affirmed that biological effects can only be thermal (Cho & D’Andrea, 2003). No heat – no effect. This policy serves very well in the industry and creates a serious barrier preventing biology-based assessment of the human health.
The scientific community must be more insisting in comprehension of potential hazard that mobile exchange of information potentially invoke in human organisms. In addition, the development of nuclear medicine and nuclear energy elevates the radiation background over the planet, not even considering Chernobyl and Fukushima disasters (Akahane et al., 2012; Grigoriev, 2012c).
Electromagnetic Biology and Medicine
In conclusion, we would like to point out the following:
For a number of reasons, the evaluation and prevention of hazard from ionizing radiation have been developed during the last 60 years.
The problem of potential hazard of nonionizing radiation is studied for significantly shorter period of time and significant differences in standards in different countries can be seen. It is due to the fact that in North America the standards are based on engineering computation, while in former Soviet Union and Easter Europe the standards are biologically based. Despite all efforts of the WHO for harmonization of standards, today standards do not consider the real pollution of the environment with nonionizing radiation.
The comparison of both sources of radiation leads to conclusion that the continuous noncontrolled exposure of the entire civilization to low-intensity EMFs represents now more serious problem for the mankind than ionizing radiation where the sources of radiation are under strict control and are well localized.
For the first time in the history of mankind, because of aggressive use of mobile phones children are exposed to harmful nonionizing radiation and potentially are subject of larger risk than adults. Even if the dose received by the children’s brain is the same as for adults, due to the specificity of the body size and physiological development, children are in greater danger. It might be compared to the hazard of EMF for professional groups.
In early 2012, the European Parliament voted by 512 to 16 to urge member countries to impose stricter limits for exposure to radiation from mobile phone and Wi-Fi technologies, especially taking care for the most sensitive population of children.
The scientific and medical communities are obliged to ring the bell – the health and standardization institutions must urgently develop recommendations and actions for protection of the civilization and especially children.
We should stop telling the science, politicians and general population that Wi-Fi is harmless.
We should better be honest and say that “we do not know what long-term effects might be.”
Who else if not we? When if not now?
