Alright, love! After a 5min sprint- with at least the first two of those min spent staring at the doc- I got 2 sentences… and then I got another ask for the same fic from @frankensteins-mt-dew , so I will give you both everything I’ve got on the doc!

The jungle dripped with humidity as the tall man who was undoubtedly the leader pushed through the next tangle of vines and branches on the way to a cave that held the object of his desire.

Two men followed him- one plainly nervous, betrayed by the way his gaze darted around the jungle and the small flinches whenever the cries of animals concealed within the greenery reached them. The other was a native, and when the first man stopped for a moment, mopping his sweat covered brow, he approached with a chuckle.

“Not used to the heat and humidity of Columbia, eh, Dr. Jones? Aren’t you glad you brought me along…” The smug smirk on his face made Dr. Killian Jones roll his eyes in response.

“I’m fine,” he deadpanned, “I can assure you. I’ve been in jungles far worse than this. You just stay close.

Will didn't hide his concern when he saw Elizabeth's new scar.

"I told you to be careful this time," Will said.

"I was," Elizabeth said, "you should see the scar on the other guy."

"I thought it was just negotiations."

"It seems pirates have their own definition of 'negotiate.'"

"Aye," Will's fingers traced her scarred cheek, before wrapping his arms tightly around her, her head against his chest. Piracy came with many dangers, but they all paved the way for tender moments like these together.

And as long as he was with her, it was a pirate's life for him.

a/n: I was a little worried to write this drabble, because even though I always include them in my ships list, I haven't written for willabeth in a while, and never in much detail, so I was concerned that I might not be able to capture them properly in whatever song was selected. By some miracle, the song happened to be Pirate Song by Ben Barnes, and it coudln't've worked out more perfectly!

hi there! [PLEASE READ THIS bc it has important information about what will be on my blog for the next several months]

so I've been mysteriously mia for the last week, and no it is not because my mom visited and also I'm finally getting therapy

It is actually because I randomly reposted a writing ask game and *people actually responded* and now I must stick by my word and work on 3 projects I will have trouble working on. and I haven't done that yet So I'll do at least a bit of that tomorrow! And send excerpts! And thank you @mx-quartz and @frankensteins-mt-dew and @kazoosandfannypacks for keeping me accountable abt this! Also I made a vague post about isles of the emberdark and it got 14 notes which is a personal record lmao

Anyway the very important information here is that I have finally finished 53 of the books on my reading list this year! This means I'm finally ready to dive deep into my giant Brandon Sanderson reread... that I'm guessing will probably take most of the rest of the year. And I am going to be reading everything affiliated with Brandon Sanderson. I'm talking the Infinity Blade books, Dark One Forgotten, White Sand Prose, Centrifugal, Hyperthief, HARRE, so on. If you're a Sanderson fan and you have no idea what I'm talking about, that's totally valid- the point is, I've found all the obscure stuff and I'm going to read it. Also the entire cosmere and everything else. (Except for Wheel of Time, since I still have only read the first 3 books and I have no intention of skipping to book 12 for no reason.)

Future posts on this blog may be associated with various Brandon Sanderson-affiliated works, and will have spoilers, which I will put below the cut. I will mention this on the applicable posts, I just want to put this information out there so you guys, my 3 followers, (hi! love you guys) don't click through and see something you don't want to see.

Other information: to stop myself from going insane, I am going to be interspersing the Sanderson works with various Warrior Cats books. I don't know which one is more likely to drive me insane, but I'm not sure they work in conjunction, so at least there's some hope for me yet.

I will be starting with The Rithmatist! Tomorrow, probably! (4/5/24) And then I will read Reckoners, including Mitosis and Lux.

This is going to be fun. After all, I'm going to need something to occupy me until the WoR kickstarter gets fulfilled and Wind and Truth comes out.

Things I loved in Exit 82 BMC

everything

okay now seriously

Every member of the cast had fuckin beautiful amazing voices like they’re perfect

Everyone dropped after the Mt Dew Red, followed by Michael screaming “ohhh FUCK”

Rich peeing in the bathroom, he did like a “look ma no hands”

Jeremy and Christine talking on the couch after the Halloween Party, guy in a unicorn costume that sits up, starts barking, then passes out again

The amount of averting/shielding eyes from Mr Heere’s dick

Brooke’s mic went out during The Play and she recovered and projected like a boss like I was in the mezzanine and heard her well it was a “go baby go” moment

Not something I enjoyed but I feel the need to include on this list: the amount of grinding that just occurred omg end me

SQUIP’s costume getting progressively more techy and extra

the way Jake treated Christine like he wasnt charming like OG Jake he was just a dumb boi

Mr Heere making an entrance and running through the house to get to Michael

Michael MAKING AN ENTRANCE and running through the house to get to Jeremy

When SQUIP was being affected by alcohol, and spoke Japanese he used like a slightly different deeper voice and it was perfect

Mr Reyes had a blonde wig with a ponytail its iconic

When Jeremy says “she was cheating on me” he

1. flips the shirts on display

2. coLLAPSES ONTO THe FLOOR

Jeremy’s walk when SQUIP controls him is like a cross between Frankenstein’s monster and an adorable robot

Michael’s “I’m your faavowite pewson” when he leaned on Jeremy’s shoulder then Jeremy pushed him off and he straight just fell onto the bean bags face first

Not a specific moment but SQUIP was just so goddamn fabulous

During the last chorus of Two Player Game, Jeremy and Michael did like epic fighting moves and then also LEAP FROGGED OVER EACH OTHER

Jenna Rolan conveniently pulling Mountain Dew out of her blazer

The way Chloe dEAD pan delivered the 😊💄🐾 speech in Smartphone Hour was mad telling of how text is miscommunicated all the time like typing lol with a straight face AND her relationship with Brooke

MICHAEL IN THE BATHROOM

MICHAEL CRYING DURING MICHAEL IN THE BATHROOM

Brooke dropped her phone during Smartphone Hour and sCREAMED

SQUIP’s fucking unexpected riff in Be More Chill pt 2 that gave me FEELINGS

Michael : “That’s what makes it so ... *shrieks* aWESOME!”

Jeremy singing in More Than Survive and hitting that high note on “WHY cant someone just help me out” and it hit my heart and it was so emotional and he was so sad and I just want to hug him for a long time

After Upgrade these pieces flew down that were like great big circuits like SQUIP has on him and they stayed down for act 2

But then they gone for Voices in my Head so when SQUIP comes back out they would like bob up and down from the fly system like “ooh are we back? are we not? nah? okay byyyee”

SQUIP coming back in for Voices in my Head, he just crawled his way across the balcony and all the students were kicking his ass

THE FX ON SQUIPS VOICE AT THE END OF THE PLAY AND VOICES IN MY HEAD

Rich’s lisp is adorable and he sounds so excited when he comes out its so heartwarming

The Pants Song, which is underrated already, was V GOOD

Quick and simple gift for older kids to give their friends for Halloween. Got our middle schoolers a six-pack each of Sunkist soda (on sale for $2 a six-pack this week at Food Lion) to pass out to their closest friends. Removed the label, drew on a Jack-o-lantern face with a Sharpie, and attached a paper straw. Works great with Mt. Dew also. Just draw on a witch, monster, or Frankenstein face! Original idea found on Pinterest!

Operation Lunchbreak

Henry leafed through the pages of the storybook the way most people would read their family scrapbooks- because that's really what this book was. In these pages, he read tales of adventures, of magic, of quests for glory- of princes and princesses and shepherds and bandits and queens and wizards- of his own family. Today though, he was thankful that they didn't need to be any of those things. There were no unredeemed villains unchecked in the town, no menacing curses looming on the horizon. Today, Henry could just be a normal kid- well, as normal as you can get in Storybrooke. One of his moms was hard at work at the mayor's office, the other hard at work at the Sheriff's station with grandpa, grandma was spending her day off from school tending to her baby, and Killian was… well, he was most likely doing something useful.

Whenever there was danger in town, he'd be right on the front lines, or else in the library helping with the research aspect of their crisis of the week, or just giving mom the moral support she needed to save the day. Henry smiled when he thought about how happy his mom was when Killian was around. He brought so much light and joy into her life, and it made Henry happy to see his family happy. Besides, Henry enjoyed being around Killian too. They spent many Saturdays sailing together, and in the times when he needed help with things that moms just couldn't help him with, he'd turned to Killian for advice. As Henry re-read again the epic adventure of "Prince Charles" and "Princess Leia," he heard a metal knocking at his door. "Come in!" Henry said, looking up from his book a little and seeing Killian enter. When he saw that the pirate held a spatula, he sat up, immediately concerned. "Oh no." Henry said. "Don't tell me you're gonna try cooking again." "Granny's has been closed for repairs for three days." Killian said. "Emma's had to spend half her lunch break making her lunch each day. So I want to learn how to do it for her." Henry raised an eyebrow at him. "Didn't mom ban you from the stove after the spaghetti incident?" "Considering I've barely looked at a kitchen in two hundred years, let alone a kitchen with all these newfangled gadgets and thingamabobs and rubber spatulas in it, you should be applauding me for how little damage I caused. Besides, I'm not the one cooking." Killian threw the spatula to Henry. "Me?" "Regina said you're quite skilled at cooking, so I figured I could learn from an expert." "I'm not that good," Henry said, but he closed his book, and stood up, spatula in hand, "but I think we can make this work." "I'm ever in your debt." Killian said, holding the door open for him. "After you." And with that, Henry and Killian embarked on a new quest together- Operation Lunchbreak.
