There ain’t no fish in this lake. (From my upcoming book I Drowned In The Summer of 85?)
I am intrigued: Why aren’t there fish in the lake? Very mysterious… I hope you like this piece of calligraphy!

Around 14 hours of work, and I finished the full piece I've been working on ^_^ (sorry for bad pic quality)
I haven't done full-on calligraphy in so long, much less with this amount of water-colored parts, so this was a fun (?) project.
I'm proud of it.

Am i diving down the rabbit hole of Fraktur (the folk art, not necessarily the calligraphy hand) simply because it is a category in my local fair?
*closes half a dozen browser tabs*
…no of course not you clearly have me confused with someone else
Here, have a snoozing apprentice pic (sleeping on the job, sheesh) with bonus posters from @preservationofnormalcy

Logo Design Variations for a long-festering personal project
Anyway, very proud of this one. Really different from what I normally draw. I'll probably do at least one more iteration though. I want it to be a little bit goofier and the majiscules are basically ripped off directly from ones I saw online that I don't think are public domain
