I just made the Mama Mario soup.

I can see why Luigi got so excited, that stuff good.

#it's vegan too if anyone is into that #I did change up the recipe though. I didn't have shallots so I used 2 small onions instead of 1 to compensate #and I left out the celery because everyone in the family hates the stuff #but even then!!! hearty and healthy! 10/10 #One thing I would've done differently is start early to make some homemade bread #I just did the lazy method of slapping together bisquick biscuits #Not a great replacement but better than no bread at all #food posting

오랜만에 전 회사 동료와 만났다. 스타트업에서 같이 고생했던 전우다. 이 분은 태국에서 재택으로만 일했다. 가끔 한국에 들어오곤 했는데 이번이 그 타임. 잠시 휴직을 했다더라. 고생한 전우에게는 맛있는 식사를 대접하며 위로가 최고다.

점심코스로 오마카세를 갔다. 가격은 7만원. 여느 오마카세 저녁코스 못지 않은 엄청난 종류와 양. 맛도 있고 양도 많아서 갓성비 아닌가 생각이 들 정도였다. 코스 종류가 많아서 사진에 못 올린 코스도 있다. 마지막 디저트는 입가를 상큼하게 해줬다. 만족스러웠던 한 끼.

Went apple picking. Was too enthusiastic about picking the apples (it was fun). Cooked 2/3 of my haul. Still have so many apples...

Turned the huge pot of apples into this much crumble, now waiting for the oven to finish preheating so I can bake them up. I'm glad I have friends who live nearby and who appreciate deliveries of baked goods!

Pro tip everyone

If you’ve got some oven bake chicken tenders and want some nice food chop up a potato in half and vertically, put them all on a tray, cover with oil and cook.

Once they’re done add some sauces of choice and you have a nice little lunch

I made lamb chops for the first time last week. I pan roasted them, basting with butter for like 30 minutes and covering my entire kitchen in butter in the process. Luckily Andrei had to clean up since I was the one who cooked ☺️ served them with lemon rosemary potatoes and some charred green beans. Good meal. 100% would butter my kitchen again.
