PSA: Know how Mizora sticks around your Act 3 camp and refuses to leave? Know how Mizora tries to get Wyll's dad blown to bits by spiders if you refuse Wyll's contract extension? Know how she's ruined Wyll's life for 7 years and been a pain for Karlach and for everyone else too?
Flesh to Stone. Sticks even through teleport, and if she fails all three CON saves, it is PERMANENT unless you use Basilisk Oil on her.
This way she can never hurt anyone else again (at least for a while) NOR can ruin the next few months for my fiancé Wyll and I.
Enjoy being a permanent fixture of the Elfsong Tavern, arsehole. Can't KILL her, but technically this doesn't qualify as harm. :)

(edit 2: Love that this is my most popular thing. Still works as of Hotfix 19. Please NEVER remove this Larian)

"All it takes is a whisper," she says. Sounds like someone isn't familiar with world champion whisperer Gale Dekarios.

An underrated torture for your enemies. Appropriate since they're bringing back Minsc and Boo.

Children of Vividaren magic weapons
Children of Vividaren can summon hand and a half swords in each of their hands. Both can transmute into forms that can deal full damage if it would be reduced by either not having the right type of metal or the right type of alignment on your weapon (as well as dealing additional damage to non-good targets, having a small chance to do even more good damage, and doing a lesser but still acceptable amount of bonus damage to those aligned with order, chaos, and even good). Due to magic, not only do both of them deal extra slashing and piercing damage, but they have a small chance to do even more of each, which triggers the even more good damage I mentioned above when that happens. The actual materials they’re made out of inherits light weight, supernatural hardness, and can overcome reduced damage caused by a weapon not being holy (which is redundant with some of the other buffs). They’re also immune to rust and acid damage.
Additional aspects of each weapon cause the weapons themselves to have a small chance to instantly kill what they strike by turning their flesh into platinum statues (which doesn’t affect the clothes of the victim), increase the power of spells their wielder casts, cause more bleeding than they otherwise would, can steal life from enemies, can temporarily weaken armor worn by enemies, can sap the power and might from enemies, has an increased chance to trigger those extra powerful effects, deals additional sound-based, electric, corroding, freezing, and flaming damage, and is naturally more likely to hit in addition to always dealing a static amount of extra, magical damage. Their wielders can also turn flesh into platinum in addition to being able to skate like Ice Mario in Mario Galaxy 1 on any surface and being able to create crude oil from nothing, splash it on enemies, and skate in it, too.

full body idea, the first outfit youd see him in before whatever happens.
i have an idea for his new story? but again im still taking feed back/ criticism because im def not the biggest "the before" expert or anything
i have a loose idea that icarus would just be an aimless soul (heh) getting by until he becomes friends with FIF!jash , then meeting his two brothers along the way and then icarus becomes like. the fourth brother /silly but thats just a loose bastardization because icarus is Not a Good Person, or atleast at first.
he struggles with codependency, abandonment and negligence, but at the same time is harsh , apathetic and destructive. icarus doesnt want to push anyone away, he just wants a stable relationship with someone, Anyone, but hes self aware. he knows his flaws, and as a defense mechanism to "protect" himself from everyone, he isolates himself. and yeah, it's bad, but thats all hes ever known. hes never met someone like the solo brothers, where they actually give him room to improve and take the time of day to help him out any way they can, because thats what friends do.
so he also tries helping them, doing small gestures in return. he doesnt understand that their (platonic) love is unconditional, so because he doesnt want to feel like a burden, he tries understanding and also mirroring their patterns.

i've always imagined lala as being kind of like an Ooze of some kind that Can solidify a bit and hapeshift humanoid lady legs but i've been experimenting with some What Ifs for if she isn't Ooze by default, that's just the Texture of her Transformation so to speak
Tumblr media
although if she is an ooze/part ooze, it means hilarity ensues for mr "i will frequently just flop onto the floor and refuse to move, for one reason, or another, usually because i am being Difficult" getting Slithered Over

Confirming that YES, as of Hotfix 19 both Flesh to Stone and Flesh to Gold still work on Mizora. Hadn't actually tried using Flesh to Gold before. Not sure Mizora deserves the gold treatment tbh. Is there a "Flesh to Deep Rothe Dung?" scroll?
Reminder that the only rules are that she has to have taken up permanent residence at camp (Act 3 only) and she still has to fail THREE CON saves in a row. (Edit: also tested and verified, it persists after long rest)
(ps can you tell I romanced Wyll and have a personal vendetta against Mizora?)

The Haunting of Amy Pond

Amy Pond, Doctor Who | aletterinthenameofsanity, there are lessons in life no one should have to learn (pretty little things wilt away)
(In which I read @aletterinthenameofsanity's Amy Pond character study and I just had to pull out my favorite lines and put them to images from the show because the imagery kicked me in the nuts.)

I’ve put off posting this for months because I wanted to find my comics so I could talk about how she fits into this one story wise, but I’ve officially given up on that so AT LONG LAST here’s Lauren in The Midnight Giant!
Comic Lauren is younger and a little less mature than her show counterpart, she has less of a parental role towards Hilda and enjoys messing with her. She’s considered a lot less…reliable by her mother. But she genuinely tries, she does everything she can to help her family and prove to her Mum that she’s capable, but that’s a little hard when Johanna’s focus is on Hilda’s shenanigans so often…
