This year already we have a flurry of new projects that are in production, and available for pre-orders now!
Right now, you can pre-order the Normal Tarot's brand new 3rd edition! This full-color take by Ezra Kimbell is an all-new vision of @cryptotheism's original tarot deck, the Normal Tarot, which has seen gorgeous renditions by @worm-dark and @charminglyantiquated, which are also being reprinted here in the 2nd edition gold and silver foil decks, as well as the 1st edition deck! We are aiming to manufacture soon and ship by October!
Or you can slip into something spookier and pre-order the ghostly story-telling game, WHAT WE POSSESS! This card-run TTRPG is made for one-shots, and allows everyone to play as ghosts as a mystery unfolds at your table. Possess the living, use ghostly powers, and discover clues as you unwind this spectral tale. These are heading to manufacturing and should be shipping in July/August.
If ghosts are too spooky, maybe you need a punk punch to your gaming table! In that case, join the ZOETROPE Time Travel Agency in ZOETROPE: DEATH DIDN'T TAKE! This card-run TTRPG is likewise a one-shot machine made to take your group on time travel shenanigans as your agents screw up time and time again, resetting time to get the job done as necessary. These are shipping out at the same time as WHAT WE POSSESS in July/August, and you can even grab all the WHAT WE POSSESS items here on this campaign!
Or if you're a pin collector, now is the time for you to delve into the Alley for Alleyman's Tarot Pins! There are sets of 3 "tarot card" pins, as well as pins of the Alleyman and Alleyway Oracle themselves! Lots of goodies to grab, as well as pins from previous projects!
And stay tuned for the space to order the Alleyway Oracles, the followup project to the Alleyman's Tarot, as there are extras of all the decks and items to grab. You'll want to be watching www.alleymantarot.com for those, or check out the Alleyman's Tarot and Publishing Goblin's Oracle dice already up on that site!
[ID: four gifs of a spinning vinyl that has been painted with a zoetrope pattern, so that when it spins it creates the effect of the design moving. this disc shows lily pads spiralling outwards from the center and off the edge of a waterfall at the rim of the vinyl, painted in shades of turquoise and pink.]
Not my usual kind of work but for one of my finals I got to work with some vintage animation methods/optical toys so I decided to have a go at making my very own phenakistiscope! It’s pretty much just a disk that when spun will give the illusion of movement so I took some visual inspiration from a tarot card I made based on A Midsummer Night’s Dream! I would love to make a whole series of these eventually it was actually a really fun technique to work with! ✨💖🌙
And ill share the still image and some of the individual elements if anyone is interested eventually, this has some real goofy in-betweens (also well see how the quality on this is cause its been giving me and impossible time)
Ouroboros spins a loose narrative of joy, grief, death and rebirth, all told through looping images printed on physical animation devices known as phonotropes. Much like the ouroboros, a symbolic snake that devours its own tail, everything in life is a loop.

Best North American Animation, Female Eye Film Festival 2023.)
The Fox Fairy/Spirit has a lot of variations throughout East Asia. I chose to base mine off the Huli Jing, and Tang dynasty dress. The shapeshifting, predominately female nine tailed fox also takes the form of a Kistune in Japan and Kumiho in Korea.
One of my favourite interpretations of this being is Good Hunting, the short story by Ken Liu (though not the Love, Death, and Robots inspired short animation! :( )
Original art by me! More phenakistoscopes on my page.
Time Agent, can we count on your support tomorrow morning in funding ZOETROPE: Death Didn't Take, the time travel roleplaying game run on cards? It requires zero preparation and seats 3-7 players for 1-2 hours of time travel goodness.
As ZOETROPE Time Agents, take on randomized missions each game with a set of pre-determined actions you can take. Can you solve the time crime quickly and cleanly, or will you have to Rewind and try again? (Don't worry, we all screw up sometimes!)
The game comes with dozens of Actions, Gear, Weapons, and Time altering technology cards for you to get your mission done.
Be sure to be one of the first 50 people to grab Early Bird pricing on ZOETROPE and its expansion, Across Time, which will grow in size with each stretch goal we reach!
