Yes, this is another Azumanga Daioh fic.

Chiyo Mihama wants to be taller so people would take her seriously, but what happens in this fic is obviously not what she meant by that.

You know how I've written a lot of fanfic?

I've decided that for AT LEAST my Azumanga Daioh, Arrietty, and My Hero Academia fics (of which I've made public 17 fics between those three), while the dialogue seems to be in English (for my sake), in-universe, all the characters in the fics I've written for those are speaking Japanese and it's just translated so I and/or the readers can understand it.

Yes, I know I've written fics of other Japanese properties, such as Sonic, Persona (even though Persona was just represented by one character in "Expiration Date but it's a crossover between too many IPs"), Pokemon, Star Fox (same deal as Persona), Dragon Ball and Final Fantasy (yet again, the same deal as Persona and Star Fox). Since my first language was English and I associate those IPs (with the possible exception of Dragon Ball) with the English voice actors, my subconscious may have decided that the characters in those speak English even in-universe. But in the case of what's represented in "Expiration Date but it's a crossover between too many IPs" (as Azumanga Daioh is also a part of that), since TF2's first language was English and TF2 is kind of the "host" fandom of that fic, maybe all the characters in the fic are speaking English even in-universe.
