Shigaraki is Deku's villain and AFO is Bakugo's

Isn't it kind of obvious? This is the same Horikoshi who planned heroes rising as an ending for MHA and that was Bakugo and Deku sharing OFA to defeat the main villain. Why would he do the same thing again when he himself stated that the real story has moved beyond this?!

I will not go over the relationship of Deku and Shigaraki and how they are nemesis, yada yada but I would go over a possible ending for Bakugo's character arc.

So, BakuDeku has always been about Winning and Saving where Bakugo has been the face for Winning and vice versa but that's also their main weakness. Deku is always too focused on saving while Bakugo's ultimate focus is winning. That's not right.

The story explicitly tells us that an abundance of either of them is wrong. Deku's self sacrificial nature is wrong (vigilante Deku arc) and only running after victory like Bakugo is also wrong.

And the perfect victory that Bakugo wants will require both winning and saving. For Bakugo to reach the peak of his character arc, he'll have to learn to save people (and that has already started with Bakugo rising) and the same for Deku who'll have to focus more on the winning part.

Deku has to defeat Shigaraki, there is no if-else or but in that but he'll also have to save the innocent child crying inside of him. As for Bakugo, he has to achieve the perfect victory but that cannot be accomplished without him saving someone.

And who could be a better person than All Might?

The main point of Bakugo's arc was his guilt about his actions. His actions led to the downfall of All Might, as a hero, him bullying Midoriya because of his own weaknesses etc.

Currently All Might is taking on AFO all alone because everyone else is literally down for the count but it's also high time, that people start to rise and help All Might.

Shigaraki's problem with the hero system is that it relies too much on heroes to do all the saving work while the common folks, the civilians do nothing but pass by a little boy who looked battered and bruised.

Now AM doesn't have any powers and yet he chose to fight! That should inspire everyone who was saved by him at one point or another and that inspiration and team work should come from Bakugo.

I don't know how but I feel like something big will happen, like Bakugo waking up and realising AM is fighting alone and he inspires everyone to go save AM. Teamwork and arrogance were his biggest weaknesses, and he will conquer them.

There are two demon lords after all, Tomura Shigaraki and AFO, so it would be rather poetic if Bakugo teams up with everyone (civilians) to defeat AFO while Deku defeats Shigaraki at the same time and that marks the end of MHA in the most epic way possible.

MHA is a story about love and connection.

About how anyone could be a "Hero"

And that includes civilians and common folks.

All Might has been saving people his entire life...

and now it's high time, that those people stand up to save him.

Just how long do they plan to be AUDIENCE?

I'm on my MHA rewatch and just completed the episode when Uraraka when toe-to-toe with Bakugo at the sports festival.

Ooooof. I'm at a loss for words at how she gave it her all. The strategy she decided to go with was clever, but she came up short. It was a valiant effort and a heck of a fight.

But man, it certainly hit in the feels when she whispered, "Daddy..." as she fell unconscious. Then who could forget the call with her dad. He uplifted her in the moment of a terrible defeat. He promised she will be a kind and caring hero one day as she cries away the pain.

I should also say it was tough to see her hide the pain of the loss in front of Deku. Once she gets alone and calls her dad, she lets it all out. Deku even knew she was hiding it while exiting the room to go face Shoto. No one goes through a defeat like that without feeling emotional repercussions, especially a character as tied to her emotions as Ochako.

Finally, as Deku was going to that next battle, he recalls Ochako being his constant source of encouragement. He just left her as she said, "I'll be watching. Good luck out there!" It brought him to tears as he thinks, "She's the one encouraging me... again." It just gives me another reason why I love their friendship. They know how the other works and how to lift the other up when they're down.

All in all, the episode was Peak Ochako and Peak MHA. The sports festival arc has been a pleasant revisit. I know it'll only get better when Deku and Shoto clash.

Awww....Ochako is the perfect person to wake him up. Even though I don't ship IzuOcha and see them as besties, I love how they added this scene here and Ik, I have read the Manga and Ik some people might say it's a plothole for their conversation later, but I would say otherwise.

While Deku thanked everyone else as soon as he enters the dorms, including All Might, Ochako was still remaining. Infact, she was the first person he asks about, after finally getting a break but that time, she was sleeping.

Then the next day, he just wakes up from a nightmare! And well, our Gravity Queen was there to ensure him that he's safe.

I feel like he just wanted to thank her privately for standing up for him so publicly, afterall the public was mad and a real threat to him, if not properly dealt with.

Though, what I like the most about this scene is that instead of explicitly stating stuff like you're safe, you're back yada- yada, she just says "Good morning", the most normal thing that can be said to him. It was a very sweet gesture. She was calm and smiling and her smile said it all, without having to speak.

She wasn't surprised or scared with his power. Never was, never will be, because she's his friend and she'll always be there to make him feel safe and welcomed.

It also makes sense since Ochako is the first person that Deku met in UA (excluding Bakugo who was his childhood friend). She was the first person that was kind to him, the kind of person that would help even a random stranger.

And well, time and time again, Ochako saves Deku not just from his powers, but from himself.

And then again, that's what the story is all about, people saving other people and that coming back to them.

I made an IzuOcha version of a TogaChako angst post I made not too long ago.

(Context: Following Ochako’s quirk awakening during the Final War arc, she goes into cardiac arrest, the quirk awakening putting too much strain on her body. A frantic Izuku immediately perfoms CPR on her, wanting to save not only the life of the first friend he made in UA, but potentially the girl he grew to fell in love with.)
