ok general processing of July and early trigun events is complete (enough). i know what im going to do now.

You don’t even mind it, you love seeing the sparkle in his eyes. After all the trauma he’s faced in his life it’s nice to see him happy
He won’t acknowledge it but he already refers to you and the baby whenever he talks to you
He’s excited to see your baby bump grow, but he’s also petrified at the same time
This man is so excited to see his baby but honestly he knows fatherhood is going to put him through war lol
The thing is, he’s so squeamish so this man is going to be right next to you gagging when you get morning sickness lmfao
He’s trying his best tho, but like the bandages are off cause he will absolutely throw up if you are
So his support with your morning sickness is standing like 20 feet from the bathroom cheering you on
Tbh it’s funny so it does kind of help you calm down
When you enter your second trimester the morning sickness calms down and your bump begins to grow
Obanai noticed your bump is getting quite large for how far along you are — Uh oh.
Shinobu confirms it, you’re having twins
When I tell you this man faints lmfao
He’s excited but??? Two babies?? This man can barely take care of Kaburamaru, you and himself
Now we are adding twins?
“Do I hear a third heartbeat?” No, she doesn’t. But seeing Obanai pass out again is rather amusing
Obanai eventually regains his composure, it will take him a month or two to get used to the idea
Tbh he doesn’t believe it’s twins until you pop em out
He talks to your stomach all the time, he loves feeling them kick
Kaburamaru is honestly fascinated by your moving stomach
Whenever Obanai has to leave for a mission he will actually leave Kaburamaru with you. Even if it impairs him, he can work better knowing Kaburamaru is watching you
He doesn’t take a leave from the corps, even when you enter your third trimester
He’s a serious worker (the way he treats Uzui after the entertainment district arc lol) so he won’t stop for anything
That is until you give him puppy eyes and cry a little — he’s talking to Kagaya about taking a leave before you can even finish sniffling lol
He spends a lot of his time coming up with names and speculating what the gender of the babies will be
When you start getting contractions he begins to panic — this is going to be a new very common theme for this poor man
When your water breaks he nearly passes out
The whole birthing process is a blur to him, so when you are suddenly holding two crying babies he suddenly comes back to reality
When I tell you this man is forever going to be in a state of stress lol
He is holding both babies at the same time and realizes very quickly he is holding his entire world
You unwrap his bandages, watching as both babies don’t even react.
“I told you they wouldn’t find you scary.”
This is the first time you ever see this man begin to cry
It’s definitely a lot of trail and error when it comes to feeding, bathing, sleeping, changing, etc
Obanai is definitely still a grouchy morning person but it’s hard to stay mad when he has two smiling faces looking at him
He definitely carries them both around at all times
Either one strapped to the front and one to the back or both attached to his hips
As they begin to get older you watch stress begin to consume Obanai — while he loves them dearly, this man is a wreck lol
He’s so emotional??? Like who are you lol
They sit up for the first time? Tears
They say “dada”? sobbing.
They trace his scar with little chubby fingers and smile, and dear loRd you think he’s going to dissolve into a puddle of tears
When these little babies are old enlist to walk they are always holding their dada’s hands
They are absolutely dada’s babies and it warms your heart
Obanai can’t imagine his life without them, he can’t imagine it without you either.
He says he doesn’t want anymore kids
Yet you end up pregnant for a second time
And well, Obanai is full of it. This second pregnancy won’t be your last

calling treasure by their name
ok but imagine calling treasure by their first name as a joke after pet names have already been established in your relationship.
hyunsuk could either be rly annoyed and pull a "actually thats BABY to you 😠" or be rly upset and whiny and pouty about it because he IS actually baby. you can honestly keep this up for as long as you like bc hyunsuk physically lacks the ability to stay angry at you but just call him baby afterwards and i swear all's good. you'll have a smiling, satisfied hyunsuk right back in your arms again
jihoon would be like "what was that?" without even missing a beat. as you continue calling him by his name he would just keep saying things like "what? I'm sorry, I can't hear you" and he's laughing the whole time too bc a) he knows he's gonna win this and b) you're trying to get a rise out of him by playing a prank which is just so funny to him. he will keep this up until you give in and call him babe or something. then he smiles real wide, clearly very satisfied with himself, and goes "ah! that's my baby"
yoshi would be taken by surprise at first, smiling nervously bc he's unsure of what he should do or even what's going on. he asks "are you mad?" and when you say no he's still like "ok....... but are u mad". he keeps replaying the last week in his head trying to figure out if he did something wrong and how he could make it up to you until you put the poor boy out of his misery. lets out the biggest sigh of relief when you call him baby again and he's already on his way to cuddle you, talking about how relieved he is that you're not actually mad at him and laughing at how silly he is :(
oh junkyu is OFFENDED. just absolutely outraged. how Dare you. "what did you just call me?" as if his own birth given name is the worse insult in the world. when ur like "your name" he just straight up denies that. suddenly he doesn't know a junkyu. that's not his name. 1000% the type to go "my name is BABY and you know damn well". will still pout and sulk even after you give up and call him baby
ok it can go one of two ways with mashiho. either he will just side-eye you with a knowing smirk on his lips bc he knows you're just trying to get his attention and he will entertain you for a while bc he thinks it's cute. or he won't even budge when you call him by his name and will just nonchalantly go "you don't call me that", refusing to even look at you until go back to calling him honey or something
stop don't even pull this shit on jaehyuk deadass he'll be so hurt. just stares at you in disbelief for probably like a whole 30 seconds trying to process what just happened and comprehend just why on God's green earth you would call him anything other than your usual pet name. "did i do something?" "are you mad at me?" "are we okay?" like honestly the questions will!! not!! stop!! coming!! until you just call him baby and ease his mind bc he's just so deeply afraid of upsetting you </3 true baby
if you thought asahi would react lmfao think again. he'll probably not even think anything of it and when you're like "you know i just called you asahi right" he's like "yeah.... thats my name..." like the most you'll get out of him is a semi-confused look for about 3.2 seconds before he goes on about his day. 0/10 reaction wouldn't recommend
yedam is also team "oh shit what the hell did i do" but after the initial shock he just gets kinda... sad? he's very attentive to you and your body language so depending on that he might pick up on the fact that it's a joke and be like "ahhh don't do that!! i was worried!!" or he might actually believe something's wrong and just try to discuss the relationship right then and there. either way he's just so glad when you call him baby again. will probably put his hand to his chest and sigh very dramatically while smiling real big or something like that :(
doyoung will just laugh a little bit. whether he gets the joke or believes you somehow don't want to call him your baby anymore he's got that "[laughs nervously] What the fuck..." vibe going for him. he does try to check with you if he did something but he's just constantly laughing the whole time and you don't actually know if he means it. even after you tell him it's just a joke he's still kinda frozen in place like "yea.. haha.. ok.." so you will have a broken boyfriend for the next 3 hours or so
haruto has got no time for this shit. he will either a) be like "that's not my nameeee" and whine and annoy you until you lose your mind/give up on the joke (whichever comes first) or b) actually act like he has no time for this and go "i'm breaking up with you" after the second time you do it, tops. don't even bother calling him babe afterwards cuz he'll just be like "yea have fun being single tho"
jeongwoo just stares at you in a mix of wide-eyed and blank expression like.... what? just happened? he asks "what did you just call me?" and if you say "your name" he just goes "no". like just No. that is Not his name and he will keep telling you that honestly you will get nowhere with this one. when you do call him baby again he's like "DAMN RIGHT i'm baby". still kinda salty abt it tho
panic. terror. war flashbacks. that's what's going through junghwan's mind when you call him by his first name. he kinda freezes in time and space and it takes him all of his courage to ask you if he did something. his mind immediately jumps to the worst case scenario that this is all actually leading up to you breaking up with him. he's honestly actually so scared you'll just Have to be like "haha just kidding baby!!!!!!! its a joke BABY" to calm him down immediately afterwards

Haikyuu SakuAtsu fanfic recs: series edition ;)
ALRIGHT LOVES, BUCKLE UP! IM FORCING MYSELF TO FIND MOTIVATION LOL
As I was making that cursed SakuAtsu fanfic rec post (it really is cursed, but it’ll get done eventually cause I do love the SakuAtsu too much, when tho? only god know LOL), I decided that if I’m gonna finish it, imma have to break it up. SO that’s why this is our lovely series edition post LOL. Originally, it WAS writers, tags, series, then single fics BUT I decided to scrap tags and even then I was like it’s too long..... And so, this post materialized LOL (mayhaps writers next? who knows anymore cause I certainly don’t LOL). These are ONLY some of the series that I absolutely adore, and I say some because 1) the tag is literally like 4k fics long and I was on like page 20 something and I have SO many tabs open rn for SakuAtsu, so chances are I missed one or five LOL :’((((( and 2) my ao3 account hasn’t been made yet (should’ve done this a looooooong time ago) and so I don’t have them all saved anywhere :( (these just sound like excuses LMFAO) So these are just the ones I saw and was like OOP I LOVE and then added LOL (and so they’re in no particular order hehe). I also didn’t *** any of them cause they’re all so freakin good and even if you randomly chose one, you will not be disappointed.
As per usual, pls check WARNINGS, TAGS, and SUMMARIES for series and each individual fic before reading and make sure you’re taking care of yourselves (since mental health is key!) Stay healthy loves <3

Terminal Curiosity by favspacetwink, moonlumie (E) // CHECK WARINGS, TAGS, and SUMMARIES!!! this is one of the BEST series I’ve read for this ship and even though I tend not to read WIP, IT’S WORTH IT! Please read ALL the tags before going into any of the fics in this series because there’s some real spicy stuff that may not be your cup of tea!
your highs and lows by astroeulogy (T,M,E) // this fic made me go on a roller coaster of feels from start to (tentative) finish :))) It’s great and I love it AHHHHH The progression in their relationship is just so ajfkjsf, and I just adore how Atsumu just broke(?) during that first fic and the number of double takes he did, v relatable LOL.
Different Kinds of Dysfunctional by DeathBelle (T,E) // I LOVE the entrance to this fic and how it flowed so well. I think Atsumu is characterized really well throughout this series (I could totally see Atsumu bringing the same thing up over and over again LOL), and his development was done beautifully (You just want to make me say it.,,, Kinda, yeah.). I really freakin love this series so please go ahead and read it don’t be shy hehehe.
we call everything on the ice, "love" by awkwardedgeworth (T) // I LOVE this fic omg,,, it’s in series, but it’s only two fics LOL... Anyway, Notte Stellata is one of my favorite SakuAtsu fics and I have reread it way TOO many times and the fanpage fic IS SO AMAZING (AND FUNNY ASF PLS). I really love ice skating AU’s too so this really made this ‘series’ all the more better <333333
know you better & related stories by theglitterati (T,M,E) // this is definitely one of the best relationship development series I’ve read, I love it so much! It really touches all the bases, and the progression is just SO good. It really is the fic version of the get along shirt, extended edition LOL.
flutterbird (a collection of sakuatsu one-shots) by wordstruck (T,M,E) // this series is such an easy pick up because it’s a bunch of one-shots (esp. if you’re not into smut cause there is some), BUT all of them are def worth a read. Personally, the third one, the sakusa kiyoomi listography, is my favorite (cause imma sucker for Sakusa), but that’s just personal preference hehe :)
Atsumu + Sakusa + The National = ? by isaksara (syailendra) (T,M) // this is another stand alone fic series but with AUs :D I don’t even know like most (ie. all) of the references (LMFAO), but I still read all of them LOL. Again, a personal favorite (without any references LOL) is the second one, famous angels (never come through england), it’s really funny and good and I just love it okay?
Better For Us Both by abrandnewheart (M) // (this was CP from my angst fic rec post LOL tho it is slightly edited cause istg my writing style changes every post LOL) THE MUG FIC. There is a sequel and when I saw it, it took me another week to read it cause I was like,,, am I ready to have my heart break again? No LOL. But the sequel is actually not as angst (but there’s still angst), so if you want to be like semi-broken or whatever, just read the sequel LOL (also it’s Sakusa POV HEHE). It’s so sad and it made me physically hurt every time someone even mentioned mugs afterwards (LOL why am I so dramatic but it’s the truth :///). Go ahead and hurt with me. You should read it even if you don’t like angst because you know what they say, no pain no gain :’)
parallax error: angle of inclination by min_mintobe (T) // okay so technically this ‘isn’t a series’, but it is two fic that are related, and what is that if not A SERIES :DDDDD Anyway, I really love this fic enough that I would find loopholes in my own dang post to recommend it LOL. I really love the service ace bet between Sakusa and Atsumu (I do think it is a superior headcannon (it’s hc right?)) but I also love what’s left unsaid by both in each other’s POVs hehe. If you want to go straight to Sakusa’s POV (cause their different POVs of the same fic), here it is parallax error: line of sight. You can read either first, but I recommend you read both eventually :)
to make any other mistake by honeymilktea (rosevtea) (T) // I, myself, am a very big fan of college Haikyuu (tho idk if it seems like that LOL), and this fic is very much up my alley hehe. I really like the idea that they are both TA’s and that Atsumu would totally bribe Sakusa into fake dating him as well as Sakusa wearing his brightest outfits to spite Atsumu.
How Do You Know? by awkwardedgeworth (T) // these fics are both so funny omg. The google search histories, the trial and error, and just everything in these two fics gives me so much dopamine LOL. There’s one POV for both end of the ship, though their tragedies are slightly different.
the human disaster chronicles by firtree (G,T) // is this another Atsumu gay panic fic? Yes, yes it is and I have absolutely no shame in recommending it hehe. I realllllllly like this fic and Atsumu having a break down cause Sakusa didn’t follow his routine? It is the move. Anyway, pls read this series cause like the title suggests, it really is a disaster (but at least there’s love right? LOL).
I Love You (Though it's Inadvisable) by Anubis_2701 (T) // okay the series itself is a wip (as in only one fic for now LOL), but the fic is so good, I couldn’t leave it off :))))) First, I do love a good soulmate AU and although I’m not a big fan on the body switching AUs, THIS one was SO good!!! It gets really cheesy and fluff at the end, but the beginning of this fic was just so immaculate, that we’re gonna ignore how much the ending made me want to stick my head into a hole (cause it was so FLUFF OMG).
The Germaphobe and the Asshole by metaandpotatoes (T,E) // so this series is also actually a WIP, but it’s okay I only read the first and the last one anyway cause they’re basically stand alone’s LOL. This series focuses a lot on Sakusa’s mysophobia, so if you’re not a fan of the hc, you should prolly pass hehe. TBH, my favorite is the third one, Avoidance Behavior, but that’s mainly cause I really like SunaOsa and I love the brother bond in it!
you are the cause of my euphoria by SugarHighs (T) // ajsfljksadhjkdfk is my first thoughts while reading this series cause ATSUMU WOULD. He would start posting thirst trap pics (which really reminded me of Wonho) in order to prove he was the most good looking member of MSBY. Tho, we do love the clowning of one Sakusa Kiyoomi, as done in the third fic (PLEASE NUMBER 17 AND Cheezel). Even if you can’t get yourself to read the other fics, read the third one, 5 Ways To Tell If The Person You're Dating Is The One, for the free serotonin boost plsplspls.
'basis' - noun. the underlying foundation for an idea or process. by auvelli (T) // like I said, college AU is a great AU, love it. This one, I do love indeed. We do stan having microwaves and mini fridges hehe. I support the ramen endeavors but oatmeal is gross, I said what I said. Anyway, I love the tags in the second fic, so even if you don’t end up reading it, read the tags,,,, they’re funny okay?
and i press you to the pages of my heart by volchitsae (T) // I LOVE THIS ONE, teehee again the college AU makes another appearance LOL. I REALLY love this writer, and this one is so funny but cute at the same time. It’s another two POV fic, but you’ll want to read this one in order hehe. Again, the ending is so FLUFF, that my head wanted to take a visit to the underground BUT ITS OKAY.
affection and acid reflux by volchitsae (T) // so the first fic is ~angst~ but IT GETS BETTER OKAY, happy endings. HAPPY ENDINGS. Anyway, there’s some really cute Sakusa in this one (esp. when he talks to the boy at the village LOVE HIM) and a healthy amount of angst as well. I really like this fic and guess what it is? Say it with me, COLLEGE AU LOL.
how big the hourglass, how deep the sand by volchitsae (E) // did I just recommend the same writer three times in a row? Yup and I think that says something LOL (tbh I like some of their stand alone fics more tho LMFAO but that doesn’t mean these series are bad nononono not at ALL (this sounded sarcastic but that was not the intention LOL)). This one is ~magical~ (v literally) and has some kinky stuff (holy water ftw) in it, so tread carefully :) I would make sure to read the tags before each one because it gets kinda steamy LOL.
^^ if I had to choose between these three, I liked and i press you to the pages of my heart the most just cause the plot was my type LOL. But they’re all good hehe.
a study on you(th) and reverie by sieges (G,T) // this series is such a sad series :( The first two are the only SakuAtsu but the third one is an angst Osamu one so there’s that LOL (and ofc the fourth one is KuniYama (is that their ship name idk)) But the first one is a moving on fic (which I liked) and the second is like basically a fake break up (which I liked more LOL) and both have some nice shares of angst and fluff so choose your battles wisely (or just read both LOL).
Burden of Blame by DeathBelle (E) // CHECK WARINGS, TAGS, and SUMMARIES!!! ah yes, the mafia fic LOL. I REALLY LOVE THIS FIC. I felt so bad for Atsumu the entire fic and yes it is, ATSUMU BEST BOY time. Did I really just recommend this series AGAIN for the THIRD TIME in THREE SEPARATE POSTS? Apparently LMFAO I didn’t even know TBH LOL. I just really like this one,,,,,, okay? But pls Atsumu just here for the ride man cause he BEST BOY. Anyway, if you want to see my other comments of this fic that I forgot I did links here :D (links and here are two separate links to two separate posts LOL).
OKAY so that’s most of the series that I saw and was like gotta put this here LOL. And do you see how long this is (I know I’m missing so many series I like istg when I find them later imma cry or just make another post LOL).... Can you imagine how long my actual fic fic one is LOL (i’m not kidding tho it’s so long I might just do fics with their actual summaries instead of adding my invalid, piss poor reviews :/). Ugh the more I think about it, the more I lose motivation to finish LMFAO, so imma go be no thoughts head empty, but I hope you enjoyed reading these series! I love SakuAtsu SO much, so there’s lots more to come (is that good or bad idek). My Top 10 Favourite Animes (So Far)
1. NANA
I've loved nana since I was 10, it was my first anime. I'll prolly love it forever, it makes me cry and I just feels so real and nostalgic idk the aesthetic of this anime is my most favourite thing in the world. It's about two 20 year old girls who are polar opposites but have the same name meeting on a train to tokyo; and their worlds end up colliding. With Nana Osaki, the punk singer in a band trying to make it big and Nana Komaru, the girly romantic, it ends up being a story of young adults trying to figure out their lives. It's emotional and real, with emotional and real characters.

2. Devilman Crybaby
First of all: I LOVE ryo. His character depth is EXQUISITE. Second of all: I loved loved LOOOOVED the ending. It hurts but it's realistic and makes sense. It's complex... I enjoy complexity 😌✋ The plot is introduced as childhood friends trying to save the world from "devils," but I think it's REALLY a story about love and the complexity of it; how if you're greedy and narrow minded then you'll fuck up love for yourself. If you've seen the entire show then you know why.
I'm also in love with the shot of ryo pulling out his gun and shooting the devils at the sabbath party in episode 1
3. Ouran Highschool Host Club
The characters are S O endearing. Except for Renge, she annoys me 💀 but honestly this anime is just really fun to follow. It's a girl who joins the host club as a boy in order to pay off her debt to the boys from the host club, while also making great friends with them in the process. The characters have a good dynamic and they work well with each other, especially cause they're all quite different from each other. IDK MAN I JUST REALLY ENJOYED THIS ANIME OK
4. Danganronpa
Ok so tbhhh I don't really know if this one counts cause I love the games, not diggin the anime, but I think it's referred to as an anime so whatever lmfao. Again, the characters? Great, amazing, tasty. Like I'm being fed a full course meal with a bunch of different shit in it. Danganronpa is so diverse with it's characters, like some of them are kinda out there lmao. Yes, yes, I am also a Toko kinnie 😌✋ I enjoy the story of the main games and the antagonists are MMMM M W A H CHEFS KISS. The style of it is pretty cool too. It's about kids who wake up in a school only to find of they're being held hostage there unless they kill the others to be set free, if they can also escape the Phoenix Wright style court trial without being caught.
Side note: the games were supposed to be a LOT darker than they already are, like sickeningly dark, I almost wish they were what they were going to be just so i could see how they would have turned out.
5. Black Butler
I am enchanted by the dark plot. I started watching Black Butler when I was like 13 and fell in love with it's universe. It's dark, cold, fun and thrilling. Did I mention dark? It's about a boy who makes a deal with a demon just so he can survive the trauma that was sprung onto him. Ciel is crafted as a kid who hasn't been able to heal, and probably never will. The manga is better than the anime, a lot better; but the series is SO good. This is wack to think about for me but this anime actually got me through some hard times. Not in the most healthy way, but It helped me grow a THICK ass skin because I would relate to the feeling of loneliness and revel in the only other feeling I had in me; rage. I used to kin Ciel so hard bruh
6. Beastars

7. Attack On Titan
K ya it's a popular anime everyone likes BUUUUUUT it has a nice big place in my heart so it's going on this list. The development between characters throughout the anime and manga is intense. I didn't expect where the story is to this day; I don't think anyone did lmao also? When I first started reading the manga it was cause I needed to finish where the anime left off cause I couldn't wait any longer lol THE MANGA?? GIVES ME LIKE CHILLS?? Idk the manga is scary to read sometimes lol again, I can't place it, but sometimes it's so gritty I can hear the screams in my head and feel the ambiance and death in the air. I like an angry ambitious story 🤷♀️
8. Yuri On Ice
GREAT love story. I also love yuri plisetsky a lot. The anime is really pretty and conveys a warm feeling. The pacing is really good as well. It moves pretty fast, considering it has like what, 12 episodes? I also loved the ending because like :') yurios debut dudes :') did u see the tears :'))))))
9. Death Note
Ok so I recently rewatched this anime for probably the 4th time with a friend and realized that the pacing isn't too bad but sometimes it feels slow. Nonetheless, I love it a lot. A killer and a detective working together to capture that same killer is fun to follow. It has a really nice aesthetic and I think it's clever with various things handled in the anime. It's very entertaining, I love playing it in the background while I'm painting. Also, I have a death note 🤪
10. Cowboy Bebop
This anime is different from most animes I get attached to, mostly because it loosely follows a plot but REALLY i think you could prolly tune into any episode and grasp what's going on. It's JUST space shananagins dude. Again, beautiful aesthetic. Cute characters. I love how cyborg man has a bonsai room like cmon that's such a cute character detail.

Just the thought of a low budget superhero who isn't recognized as a superhero & can only kill bad guys with one punch & hates it is kinda funny idk man, mf does his deed of the day and then panics cause he needs to make it to the supermarket on time for the sale that's going on lmao
Soul Eater
Of course, great characters, great plot. Really good animation style. Funny with a dark aesthetic ♡

Okay hear me out. I haven't actually finished it yet. I just know that the characters have so much depth that I've been sucked in. I also don't think I've ever seen an anime THIS beautiful. So since I didn’t catch that we finally got Book XXI - The World until now... I’m doing my usual first impressions of playing through and my thoughts. Since (I think?) this is the end of Nadia’s route, I believe I’ll do an overall thoughts in a different post later on when I’ve digested everything.
Both my thoughts on the Upright ending and Reversed ending are under the cut. I play through Nadia’s route only. But this is a much longer than normal post. And it goes without saying, but a lot of spoilers under the cut.
Upright Ending

I do feel like the ending is somewhat anti-climactic. I would have loved to see the wedding and all that cute shit, but perhaps it could be a tale later on. Or it also gives fandom creators some room to let the imagination run wild and that’s always a positive thing as well.
I haven’t looked around much, but i think theres some discourse about the endings, though when is there not discourse in the fandom lmfao. I will say that i think this does really play into what I said before that the upright ending and route playthrough is all about change. This is the person Nadia is capable of being at her best and her reversed ending the person she could be if she had stayed on the path she was set on. (or at her worse, if you prefer that).
as said, I think I’ll put an overview thoughts in a different post, but I think book XXI was a pretty decent wrap up, though obviously I wish there had been more of it.
Reversed Ending

Okay, i have... thoughts. While I’ve said that I do believe that the Reverse ending is supposed to be Nadia as the person she was at the beginning of the story (or at least in some ways with some of her less desirable traits amplified to the max), this just seems... weird after playing the Upright ending.
Obviously this makes sense if you played the route as a reverse ending. The apprentice is super dedicated to Nadia that they’ll follow her blindly, even if it means harming other people. You fail to see her faults and instead just tell her that people who criticize her are wrong. But like I said, I think the Devil honestly being that idiotic that he actually gave her the power to defeat him is just wild. In a way where there has to be a lot of suspension of disbelief for that to be a thing. But okay. This is where we are.
I do think a lot of the domination/physical scenes with Nadia were super hot and wish we had gotten a bit more in the Upright ending, but since I have both endings, I can live with getting the emotional lovey stuff in one and the steamy physical stuff in another. THat’s fine. Also, I really do love Nadia’s Devil sprite. The art is great for it.
Anyway, those are just some thoughts I had on my first play through. I’ll probably do a full reflection tomorrow when I’ve sort of had more time to process my feelings. As for what I’ll do with the Arcana now that Nadia’s route is over... I’m not sure. I’m not super hot on Portia, though I like her. Just not in a “I want to romance her way.” Maybe I’ll play through Muriel since I think he’s sweet and I thihnk his story will be super interesting. And As much as I hate Lucio in this route, I’m kinda of interested in how they’re planning on writing his route.

You meet Muriel when he’s on his rounds as a part time dog walker around the block and you barrel straight into him coming out of the shop when you’re checking an email, spilling the (now cold) remnants of your beverage all over him. You apologise profusely and he shrugs it off, blushing over your fussing and awkwardly tries to excuse himself. You insist on helping him finish his walk with All these dogs, anyway, you like dogs so it’s no trouble, and he begrudgingly agrees to finish the interaction sooner.
You end up having a nice chat with him and notice in the weeks after that he starts coming by the shop without the dogs during the times you’re usually around, even though he doesn’t drink coffee. gianni - when he first met rooney’s parents he had just begun learning spanish and tried to say he was embarrassed for spilling a drink on himself in all his nerves but accidentally used the word “embarazada”, thinking it meant embarrassed. so instead of saying “estoy muy avergonzado” (i am very embarrassed) he said “estoy muy embarazada” (i am very pregnant.) rooney’s dad had a good laugh out of that one.
rooney - most of rooney’s embarrassing moments are borne from her clumsiness. one time in middle school she tripped over thin air in front of her crush and rolled all the way down a hill and got a black eye from hitting her face on a rock at the bottom. she’s beauty she’s grace
lou - lou is one of those people who refuses to be embarrassed because she hates showing weakness. so if something embarrassing happens to her she’ll shrug and brush it off even if she’s secretly dying inside. often she’s always one step ahead, so if anything, she’ll be the one to catch you in the act and embarrass you.

Friendships with mental illness
Dealing with bi polar disorder I constantly find myself eventually isolating myself from everyone and in that process some people stick around and some people leave. I don’t mean to push anyone away but it just happens. Slowly but surly. I find myself constantly wanting to confide in someone but I feel like if I tell someone everything they’ll want nothing to do with me or judge me so I hold everything inside until I have a full on panic or anxiety attack. And I’m impulsive as fuck. I always find myself doing any saying shit on an impulse. No time to think. I’m in a love hate relationship with the world and it’s fucking exhausting. Constantly having your emotions go from one side of the spectrum to the other and not knowing how you truly feel until you have a good day and can be logical and re-think everything fucking sucks. I feel like I’m drained of all my energy constantly. And I feel like it’s really taken a tole on my friends and family. They never know what mood I’m going to be in, or if they’re going to accidentally trigger me and have to watch what they say to me and how they say it. I interpret things in the most dramatic ways lmao and am just dramatic to begin with. Right now I feel like my best friend Erika wants nothing to do with me and is bottom line tired of my shit. I feel like she’s tired of being the strong one and I understand. But it still hurts. I feel like she feels like I’m not able to be emotionally there for her and give her the comfort that she needs because I’m too busy just trying to maintain my sanity. I feel like me and my problems finally drove her away. I reached out to her saying that I loved her and missed her and got no reply. It sucks you know? I try my best to manage my illness but most of the time shit is just out of my control. There’s one lost friendship that still stings a little though. I had a friend that I made in high school and our bond over music is what really solidified our friendship (I’ll refer to him as GV) We kept in touch after school was over and he got to know me and know about my mental problems in the process and he was actually really cool about it. He had problems of his own, as we all do, so he knew what was up. There’d be times where I’d try to bring him up when he was going through his shit just because I knew how it felt to feel like you had no one to be there for you in your time of need and on top of that he was the fucking homie, of course imma check up on him and make sure he’s good you know? Just like I do with everyone I care about. Anyways, as time went by I got introduced to his friends and that was it, I knew from the beginning these people were fucking talented and wholehearted and I was completely there for that lol. They’re all involved in music so as time went on I would go to whatever little shows they had and supported them to the fullest (as I still do) and we would hang out here and there. My goal in life is to make music myself so I ended up moving to California just to see what would happen. My best friend Travis makes music as well and was already living out there for over a year at that point and so we decided to live together out there. That lasted for about a year lmfao (I’ll explain later smh) but during that year I kept in touch with the homies back home. They were really excited for me to go and I would update them from time to time and give them the rundown on how everything was going. When I first moved there they were the first ones I facetimed because I was low key freaking the fuck out hahahahahaha and they were there for me. Reminding me that I’ll be good, just doing what friends do. While I was living in cali I got a job at the Dave & Busters on Hollywood boulevard. Hella celebrities would be in and out. I’ve met Akon LOL, Diane Keaton, a grip of vine famous people, Neyo, Debbie Ryan, The game, (Metro Boomin was there on my day off and I was livid) and so many d-list celebs I can’t even remember lmao. But! Right before I moved back to Tucson the Kardashians bought D&B out for Khloe’s birthday and I ended up seeing Kanye in the flesh! I could not stop thinking about how the homies were gonna flip when I told them because we’re all HUGE Kanye fans and sure enough they were the first people I told and they were flipping out hahahahahahaha. I called GV as soon as I got home that night and gave him allllll the details and it was just a really exciting time and I’m glad I got to share that with him and his friends. And as you all know now I’m back in Tucson. I had a really bad blowout with Travis. I was just not utilizing my time in California wisely and I was dating a lot when I was out there and it was just all bad. We fought a lot and it got to the point where I would get anxiety when I knew he was coming home because I knew we were going to get into it. I knew I was going to move home right before Travis and I had our final blow out and I was confiding in GV a lot at that time and was letting him know that I knew I was going to come home soon. Shit was just wayyyy to toxic at that point and you know in your gut when something is about to end.
As soon as I moved back here I was completely broken and just felt really out of control. I moved back the Fourth of July and no one knew I was living here till like September lmao. My family was falling apart right when I got here also so it was just added on to my stress. That’s when things escalated between GV and I. I was looking for a shoulder to cry on and I found one basically lol. I just wasn’t expecting what was there to come. He just got out of a long term relationship, I just moved back and I guess we both were vulnerable in a way and found solace in each other. We openly talked about how it wasn’t going to be anything serious and I was cool with that. I wasn’t expecting to catch feelings lmfao. I can admit, I was super difficult to deal with during that time. My Nino just moved into my nana’s house out of nowhere. I was on the phone with GV at 6 in the morning and my Nino just shows up on my door step straight out of jail with no warning or nothing, and just to let you guys know my Nino is addicted to heroin and no one in my family really had anything to do with him at that time so it was a surprise that he thought he could just show up to my nanas all uninvited and shit. Then my mom was living here also and relapsed not too long after my Nino moved in and on top of all that I didn’t have a job. I’m the type of person that NEEDS a job. It’s the only constant in my constant shifting life and not having money is also a huge stressor. So as soon as we started talking or whatever that’s when I felt like he got to really see what was inside my mind. He got to see what I looked like completely broken. He truly got to get to know me you know. See what I go through when I’m crippled with anxiety and am constantly worrying about everything, not being able to see a future for myself. Being super pessimistic. I’d go through days where I would barley text him or not at all. With no explanation. When I get overwhelmed like that I don’t know how to express my true feelings and automatically push people away. But the longer he stuck around and would talk me down out of my episodes and the more he started to show he genuinely cared, I fell for him. I broke the fucking rules and caught feelings. Soooo, we all know that caught feelings comes with jealousy.. there was this one chick he’d be constantly flirting with on the interweb and I didn’t bring it up. For I knew what this was when I started this whole mess. But one night he brought her up and then said “but I’d never get with her tho” 🤔 hahahahahahaha. I knew deep in my gut it was bs but what could I do? We weren’t together. We still had whatever we had going on though. One night I broke my phone and didn’t have one for two weeks but I would still talk to him everyday on fucking Facebook lol. But I feel that’s when the shift started. I felt it in my soul that he was talking to her but what the fuck could I do. When I finally got my phone I confronted him about it and we both agreed that it wasn’t right, BUT WE BOTH KNEW WHAT THIS WAS WHEN WE STARTED THIS SHIT. It was basically a sorry not sorry conversation. And that’s when I started to become distant. Then just stopped talking to him all together with no explanation. But we both knew why. I’m not fucking stupid. And it was a further confirmation when he let me be. Like a month after I stopped talking to him and deleted him on everything and all that he tried reaching out to me and I told him to just pretend I didn’t exist (so angsty) and he granted my wish. I feel like he just didn’t want to deal with me and my problems anymore. It’s just a shitty situation. I knew him 4 years before this all happened and I miss his friends more than anything. I wished none of this shit happened. I wish I could have some type of friendship with him but I can’t. I hurt. And that’s okay. I’ll never stop showing him and his homies unconditional love when it comes to their music though. I’ll be civil in public for the sake of everyone including myself. I don’t feel anything ugly towards him and I don’t find myself wishing him the worst. I’m just sorry this all happened. I find myself wondering if things would’ve been different had I not been born being crazy lol. At the end of the day it is what it is and it was definitely a learning experience. The more I accept things for what they are the easier it is for me to put that shit in the past. I don’t ever want to go through anything like that again lmao and I feel like to prevent something like this from happening I need to learn how to communicate my feelings and need to know that I do matter. My feelings matter. I am not a burden like I feel I am. And people do need to know what’s going on with me even if I don’t feel like I owe them an explanation.
