"Caleb? It's Molly."
It's faint but a few moments later, Essek hears, "Ja, Molly? Everything alright? Is Essek okay?"
Is he okay? Probably. Is he also mortified? Oh yes. But he should know better than to expect reasonable and sane actions from any of the Nein. At this point he's the odd one out. So he's just going to give up and accept the fact that this conversation is happening, and see what happens.
(He's also terribly curious to hear what Caleb will say.)
"Oh, he’s great. So, uh– listen, I want to kiss your boyfriend, and he's worried about you getting mad. Would you get mad?"
That was definitely a sentence. Essek covers his face with both hands, sighs deeply, and continues listening to the meticulous control he once thought he had on his life slip even further.
There's a pause and then he hears Caleb's faraway, miniaturized voice laugh wholeheartedly for a full thirty seconds and then say, "What did you do to him?"
"Nothing, I swear! He wants to! Essek, tell him."
Essek glares at Molly then leans over and says into the locket in a flat voice, "It's true."
He's never going to let himself live this down.
"See?"
"Scheisse, uhh– ja, ja– okay. That's good. You guys have my blessing."
He can hear the smile in his voice.
Unbelievable.
"Wonderful. Thanks, love! See you soon!"
"Don't get too crazy, ah? Gute nacht, mein Schätze.”

Usually, I wouldn't do a part two for these games, but I actually have a good idea so here you go!
Finding Jason is a lot easier said than done. After the initial flare of your new green heartline, it dims until it is almost invisible meaning he is very far away from you. And heartlines aren't like maps. You can't just follow them to locate your soulmate. But you refuse to give up.
For the next few years, you spend all your free time and money trying to track him down but to no avail. After some time, the heartline's glow grows stronger again, but even though he is closer to you geographically, he still seems a million miles away.
But that changes the night you are walking home from work and find yourself cornered by several muggers. You try to run but there are too many of them and they are too fast.
Suddenly, a dark figure with a bright red helmet drops from the sky. In seconds, the muggers lay at his feet, unconscious or groaning in pain. For a moment, you are afraid you'll be next. But then you notice the brilliant green line running from your chest to his.
"....Jason?"

Current WIP
Title : Heartlines
Pairing : Will Graham/Hannibal Lecter

Will steps up to the counter and watches Hannibal for a moment then reaches out and grasps Hannibal's forearm, his fingers framing the slightly raised scar on his vulnerable wrist. He brings Hannibal's arm closer and gently twists it so he can examine the pink line that marks the length of the older man's arm.
“Did it hurt?” he asks. The question may seem foolish for surely it had to be painful but he knows Hannibal will pick up on the nuance of his words.
“Yes.” Hannibal replies. Will waits expectantly and Hannibal doesn't disappoint, “I was not expecting you to reject me so harshly.”
Will rolls the words around in his mind, he supposes ‘rejection’ isn't the wrong word though that wasn't how he thought of it at the time.
“Did you enjoy it?” He doesn't know what answer he's hoping for but he can't restrain his curiosity enough to refrain from asking.
Hannibal looks at him carefully then smooths his thumb over the scar, deliberately brushing the tips of Will's fingers. “Did I enjoy the taste of your wrath, your violence? To have your passion directed at me?” he looks fond as he speaks, “Yes. Did I enjoy that it was enacted by the hand of your devoted proxy?” The words ‘devoted proxy’ spill from his mouth acidically, as if speaking them burns his mouth. “No.”
Will isn't surprised by this. Hannibal has shown himself to be possessive of him, greedy for Will's attention and resentful when it is directed at someone else. He is, however, surprised by the intense flicker of heat he feels. A knot of unexpected lust in his gut making his pulse race and fogging his sense of reason just a little. He slowly drags the pad of his finger along the scar, taking in the faint difference in texture of his skin.
He looks directly into Hannibal's amber eyes, “I would have enjoyed wielding the knife myself but circumstances did not permit.” He can't resist the jab and revels in the way Hannibal's pupils dilate. “I admit I am not content with the fact that my marks on you were not dealt by my own hand.”
He bows his head until his lips almost touch Hannibal's arm, Will's breath awakens a trail of goosebumps on his flesh. He looks up at Hannibal through his lashes, “Would you like me to claim them?”
Will smirks at the sound of Hannibal's breath catching in his throat, he tugs the other man's arm closer to his mouth until his bottom lip grazes the base of Hannibal's thumb. His skin grows damp from the heat of Will's breath, he looks up, licks his lips and raises an eyebrow in question when no response comes.
“Yes.” Hannibal answers on a rushed exhale.
Will grins, slightly giddy from the little thrill of power, “Yes, what?”
A sharp flash lights up Hannibal's eyes but a swathe of yearning and want quickly drowns it. “Yes, please.”
“Good.” Will murmurs against the flutter of his pulse, delighting in Hannibal's faint shudder.

"I'm– sorry," He says, as he attempts to dry his eyes with his sleeves.
"Don't be sorry! Here," And Jester presses a small white handkerchief into his hands. The words Little Sapphire, surrounded by a delicate floral pattern, is embroidered into one corner of it. He's not sure what that means, but he can tell it's a personal item by the way it's been folded so neatly.
"Is– is this important? I don't want to ruin it."
"Yeah, it's from my mama. But you're important too, so you can use it."
Essek nearly cries again.
