I say good riddance.
It irritates me to see so many RIP/Rest In Peace posts about Jerry Lee Lewis. Why should he be allowed to rest in peace? He was a pedophile, an abuser, and a possible murderer. Will people write/wish the same for Harvey after he dies? SMH.

The LEVEL of misogyny and sexism on this website (and the Internet in gen) is outstanding!
Especially when queer ppl are supposed to be the majority of its users!
You even try to convince uninformed people that when machism blatantly wins, it's actually a "win for feminism"!
I mean... since fucking WHEN a woman losing her trial after she charged her husband with domestic abuse because the WHOLE WORLD knows and loves her husband is a fucking win for feminism?? Since WHEN a woman that NO one knows who gets bashed and insulted and verbally abused non-stop on an INTERNATIONAL level because she dares to assert that worldly beloved J made some nasty things is a fucking "win" for feminism??? You people make me sick!
You're like 14 year sold or so, you're only listening to your hormones and sexual urges! You don't know shit about feminism! Having crushes on celebs is ok, I do that myself everyday, but please STOP using that as an "argument" or a "proof"!
The truth is, like the smashing majortity of the world's population, you know absolutely NOTHING about the private life of J or A's. Unless, you're relative or close friend, you know NOTHING! You don't know him! You don't know her! So please stop acting as if you do!
Also, do you truly think a historically machist institution and an ultra mediatized trial can be fair and impartial??
Think again!
Just think at all!
With your brain! Not your emotions or hormones!
as personal example, if TWH was ever charged of domestic abuse by his fiancée, (which I don't believe it can ever happen) I would root for her out of pure female solidarity and because I perfectly know all the other crazyass fangirls/boys would treat her like horse shit just like with A.
Just like with every fucking woman who dares to speak out against a worldy beloved and famous man.
This bullshit is proof enough that feminism has NOT win yet and that most of girls are total misogynists.

It wasn't intentional. He had only wanted to get groceries and return to his apartment as quick as he could. He should know he never gets what he wants.
He hadn't meant to bump into someone as he rounded the corner into another aisle and watch her stubble and almost fall back. And he certainly hadn't wanted to grab her arm and pull her into his chest.
She seemed flustered when she pulled away— stumbling over her words as she apologized. She didn't seem at all fazed by their height difference or that he seemed intimidating. It was cute.
But it ended as quickly as it started. He reassured her it was okay then she apologized one more time before wishing him well and walking away.
He felt almost let down? Like he wanted to talk to her more, be around her more. He shook off the feeling. Meeting her was an accident.
Everything after that, however, was anything but accidental. Simon couldn't help but be drawn to her. They've only had one actual interaction and he's already deep enough in her life that he's looking through her therapy files.
He was aware it was creepy but who gives a fuck, he just thought she was cute whats the harm in finding out more about her? In finding ways to run into her at the grocery store? In making sure her home was safe for her because she was negligent with her own safety?
It had gotten to the point where he believed that they were in a relationship. Thought of her as his when he saw her in the canned goods aisle. Followed her home to make sure nothing bad happened to his girl because she didn't pay as much attention to her surroundings as she should.
It's for the better anyway. You needed to be protected and cared for and Simon would always be there for you. It's meant to be in his mind.

George Martin, 2013: "In a very basic level winter is coming for all of us. I think that’s one of the things that art is concerned with: the awareness of our own mortality. “Valar morghulis” – “All men must die”. That shadow lies over our world and will until medical science gives us all immortality… but I don’t think it makes it necessarily a pessimistic world. Not any more pessimistic than the real world we live in. We’re here for a short time and we should be conscious of our own mortality, but the important thing is that love, compassion and empathy with other human beings is still possible. Laughter is still possible! Even laughter in the face of death… The struggle to make the world a better place… We have things like war, murder and rape… horrible things that still exist, but we don’t have to accept them, we can fight the good fight. The fight to eliminate those things. There is darkness in the world, but I don’t think we necessarily need to give way to despair. One of the great things that Tolkien says in Lord of The Rings is “despair is the ultimate crime”. That’s the ultimate failing of Denethor, the Steward of Gondor, that he despairs of ever being able to defeat Sauron. We should not despair. We should not go gentle into that good night".
JRR Tolkien, 1962 : "One reviewer once said, this is a jolly jolly book, all the right boys come home [...]- this isn't true of course, he can't have read the story. [...] Human stories are practically always about one thing, really, aren't they? Death. The inevitability of death. . . . . . (He quotes Simone de Beauvoir) 'There is no such thing as a natural death. Nothing that ever happens to man is natural, since his presence calls the whole world into question. All men must die, but for every man his death is an accident, and even if he knows it he would sense to it an unjustifiable violation.' Well, you may agree with the words or not, but those are the key spring of The Lord Of The Rings".
"Lotr is all rainbows and unicorns and Asoiaf is nihilistic and grimdark". Wrong, and wrong. In all its hope and radiance, lotr often gets very dark, and despite all the death and suffering, the hopeful moments in asoiaf shine bright. The meeting point of these two is this: having hope while in despair, and even better, refusing to give up because you have to go on despite not having any hope left.
