Hi guys,

Today I want to share with you one of my favourite makeup cheats. While I love playing with products to create a look sometimes we underestimate how much we can get out of one product. So today we are chatting about the Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon , £23.00 in shade Black Diamonds.

I have loved the Colour Chameleon sticks formula from Tilbury for a long time, they basically very pigmented eyeshadow sticks ( these are the reason I haven't bought the Rare Beauty ones yet). Usually I love the golden / link toned sticks but this time I wanted to try something different. This time I picked up the shade Black Diamonds which is a sparkling black eyeshadow pencil for blue eyes. Each eye stick is designed for a specific eye colour and this cool toned shade is meant to make blue eyes pop!

To create this simple eye look I started off by applying the eyeshadow stick to the center of my eyelid and then blending it out with a fluffy brush, this creates a soft wash of colour on the eyelids. Next I sharpen the pencil so it has a think tip and apply some heavier eyeshadow to my lash line and followed by my lower last line. By doing this step on top of the wash of colour I create definition using one product 2 different ways. If you wanted to intensify this look you could then layer a black eyeliner pencil in your lash line.

I love this eye stick because it's so easy and quick to use yet it creates the most glamourous looks! I highly recommend these eyeshadow sticks if you're looking for products to create a quick eye look. As always all products mentioned in my blog post are linked above!

there's this annoying subsection of Internet Leftist that like, pays lip service to socialism but is also deeply entrenched in capitalist hyper-consumerism. like, you know that socialism isn't just "i can continue my same excessive and unsustainable consumption, but this time for free", right?

like, of couse bread and roses and whatnot; any decent implementation of socialism shouldn't force everyone to live in bleak minimalist utilitarianism, and everyone deserves a bit of luxury in their lives. but certain levels of over-consumption are inherently unsustainable and inherently cannot exist without someone being exploited. "there is no ethical consumption under capitalism", but some kinds of consumption could not exist under socialism; would you be ready to give those up when the time comes?

been sick for the last week. decided to dye my hair which really revitalized me. spent some time doing my makeup now that i felt like i could. took selfies with filters to cover up the "sick"look but cut them in half because i really despise how filters make my lower face look.

hi im nearly 20 i never learned to wear makeup either and I decided to say fuck it last year and I don't know what kind of makeup you want to try but right now all I do is put on Mascara and then smudge it to look like eyeliner on my bottom lashes and wear a little bit of lip gloss and it is so fun. so I think you should do whatever and go buy cheap pharmacy makeup and have fun and don't bother with all the hard stuff. if that is something you think you might like.

thinking abt how much my makeup collection has minimized and shrunk down through the years bc for some reason youtube decided to show me some old t*ti w*stbrook videos while on autoplay

#kinda of ashamed of how carried away i was abt it all a few years ago but it was so fun being able to play around and feel like #i can change my vibe so easily either for going out or just playing around in my room. my regret really was that i fell for buying lots of #cheap little things that i wasnt truly happy with vs just sticking to a few quality pieces #bc the thing is that it *all* eventually expires and thinking abt the material waste is so... ugh... esp lipsticks bc once we started needi #to wear masks i just found no point in going through the hassle of making lipstick work with masks + i dont like matte liquid lippies...#and like. i had no real sense of how quickly makeup is used up so i had so much that i could never realistically use before it went bad?? i #idk. now i have a very cozy 'collection' of one eyeshadow palette + two duochromes and like. 1 lipstick 1 liptint and then i dont even have #brow things or complexion stuff? and its very freeing in a sense that it feels even more like playing with paint bc its just the fun colors #im going to wilt away and die if whatever job i get in the future asks for only 'natural' makeup ugh #the most 'natural' i can go with is duochrome liner on a bare face...

I know fuck shit about contour and proper blush placement and similar things so like sorry not sorry but im here for the allllll the glitter and the glitter ONLY and I put blush over the rosacia on my cheeks when wearing foundation bc I don't like how my face looks without all the red lol

i just will never forget when the whole tramp stamps band scandal happened on tiktok and there were people in the comments saying they knew they were plants because they didn’t have “real alt makeup.” like i get the concept of “oh they’re clearly trying to emulate a culture they aren’t a part of” but the phrasing of it just truly made me lose it. like the idea that even within spaces where you are being weird and creative and having fun and playing with style you can be judged for doing your makeup “wrong.” how the fuck is there a real or right way to do “alt makeup” my god

#my mom raised me very anti-makeup i had to wear it for dance performances and otherwise not only wasn’t allowed to #but genuinely didn’t really want to #and sometimes i hate that i never learned How To Do makeup #like. that’s unhealthy thinking.#i never learned how to use foundation and thank god bc it feels nasty on my face so why would i!!!#but overall i AGREE w her and am so glad i didn’t grow up wearing makeup #like i do not like my mom but i am so grateful for that one thing. she doesn’t wear makeup either literally only for halloween costumes #so it’s not like she didn’t let me bc she didn’t approve or whatever. it’s truly her belief that she lives by #she would talk about how sad it was that her friends wouldn’t leave the house without makeup and stuff. and she’s right!#i do love to put on a little eyeliner and colorful eyeshadow when i go to a concert or something #and maybe eventually lipstick if i ever stop wearing masks (altho i haven’t wanted to bc even in a resting postition #the wet part of my mouth that the lipstick doesn’t stick to is exposed #and i hate that especially bc i like really bold colors like deep reds or blacks. but also feeling Bad about that is exactly what i’m trying #to get away from)#anyway if you claim makeup is just for yourself and about art and having fun then why are you shaming other people for how they do it!!#how are you any better than anyone else!!!
