Anime Headcanon: Meeting General Esdeath
Quick Summary: You travel to the Imperial Capital to get some things for your journey but an accident in the city causes you to meet the Infamous Ice General of the Empire - Esdeath - and she takes a liking to you and your power.
Your eyes laid upon the large city as you stood on the elevated path that led to the Imperial City, the wind blew in your hair as you took a deep exhale; relived that you finally reached civilization after weeks of traveling and spending your time in the forest with the Danger Beasts, not that you were bothered by the Danger Beasts, some of them made decent meals while the parts of others would be good to sell for some extra money.
You walked down the path and into the city, looking around at all the people interacting with each other as if they were in some kind of paradise. Still, this place smelled wrong and made the blood under your skin boil but you had to keep your power under wraps, you didn't want to burn the entire place to the ground and leave these people without their homes.
You walked to the nearest shop that looked like it bought Danger Beast Parts and sold the fangs and horns you collected for decent coin before you left the shop, your stomach growling and the need for meat filled your senses; sniffing the air, you caught the scent of meat cooking and followed it, leading you to a butcher. You ordered something hot to eat and a few pounds of meat for the road when the sound of someone screaming filled your ears, you looked in that direction and saw a woman on the ground with a man running away from her with a pouch in his hands; he robbed her.
You stood in the man's path as the barked at you to move but your normal [Eye Color] eyes turned blood red as you charged at the man and socked him in the face, knocking him out before anyone could even blink. You looked down at him with disgust before you gathered the pouch on the ground and walked over to the woman, who finally managed to pick herself off the ground. She looked at you with wide eyes as you handed the pouch back to her and turned to walk away when a dangerous scent filled your nose. You turned and there they were: The Jaegers. But the one that caught your attention was the blue-haired woman with piercing blue eyes that were staring directly into your red ones as they slowly turned back to [Eye Color].
"Your Speed was something else." The blue-haired woman spoke in a calm voice with her lips lifted in a smile. "You knocked him out before anyone could blink."
You didn't say anything, just looked at her - something about this woman wasn't right and your eyes were drawn to the stranger's tattoo on her chest that was exposed by her own shirt. 'She really needs to button the rest of her shirt.' You thought.
"Not going to say anything? Strong and silent, just the way I like them." She smiled again but she took a step towards you, causing you to take a step back, "Something wrong?" She asked.
"Do not come close to me, I can smell the iron upon the skin, I can hear the voices of the people you have murdered and the ice in your veins. I wish for nothing to do with you or your people." You said with your eyes narrowed.
"Oh? Then why are you in the Imperial City?" She asked with a smirk.
"I needed food. I was sick of eating Danger Beasts." You explained as your hand hovered over the handle of the sword that was at your side.
"Making meals of dangerous creatures? Now, you are more interesting than I thought you were going to be and I must have you. Make it easier on yourself and give yourself to me...or I'll take you for myself." The woman said as she pulled out her sword, causing you to pull out your own.
"Just come and try it." You smirked.
The battle was on.

Yandere Alphabet For Esdeath:
Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?
She shows her love through quality time, she’s always dragging you around on dates to have bonding time together. Esdeath also likes to give affection through cuddling every time she’s with you your getting put into a bone crushing hug, suffocating from being shoved into her chest for too long.
Gets very intense soon quality time becomes all the time meaning she’s with you every hour of the day and those hugs start to get stronger resulting in a few bruises since the risk of losing you increases.
Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
It’s going to be very messy, the dungeons are going to be filled with blood from all the people she will kill if they, so much as disrespect you in any way. Esdeath also has a lot of enemies, so some of them might come for you to get to her, so she has to torture them and then end their miserable life for trying to take you away from her.
Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?
Once you’ve been abducted she’s actually very nice and tries to be understanding about it albeit she is a bit pushy though to get you to warm up to her, but she does try to treat you like a normal couple would treat each other just a bit more forcefully.
She doesn’t mock you and if she does it’s nothing to mean she probably just thought your opinion on something was a bit silly.
Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?
One thing Esdeath will do against your will is touching you nothing too sexual just things like lying down on top of you and shoving your face into her chest. Will also cuddle you while your both sleeping without asking you. Another thing she will do against your will is chain you to the bed or wall only if you misbehave though.
Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?
They actually bare quite a bit to their darling since she does really love you and wants to build a stable relationship, so she doesn’t
hide anything from you and will tell her darling anything they want to know with reason of course because she does want her darling to bear a bit to her as well.
She obviously won’t cry in front of you because that would be showing weakness, but she is more vulnerable with you than anyone else’s she even tells you her past and other things she wouldn’t tell anyone else since it would make her weak in front of them, but with you she can really let go.
Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?
She doesn’t really mind at first finds it quite cute to watch you try too fight knowing that she can overpower you easily and after tells you to save that fighting spirit for training.
Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?
Yeah it’s a game to her she does enjoy a little game of cat and mouse, she wont let you escape on purpose for a fun game, but if you manage to escape she does find it fun to get you back, she loves the chase. Though don’t run away too often because her patience only goes, so far. You don’t want to get her too angry.
Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?
Their darlings worst experience will probably be watching them mercilessly kill someone without them being able to do anything to stop them especially if it’s someone important to them.
Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?
In the future she wants her darling to be highly ranked in the guards, so you can work right beside her. Other than that, she just wants a normal future with you like any other couple, for example, living together, maybe married she doesn’t really mind as long as your with her in the future.
Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?
She gets very jealous if you push her buttons too much, but she won’t lash out at you and since she has a way to cope which is going to her torture chambers to torture some prisoners to let off her jealousy.
Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?
When she’s with you she acts all lovey dovey compared to when she’s leader her troupes and she also acts very clingy especially in private always hanging off you and cuddling up to you. Esdeath is also less cold when she’s with you she’s more smiley and happy.
Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?
She just goes straight up to you and says “your mine now” and drags you away from whatever you were doing to come with her.
Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?
When she’s with you she’s less cold and more loving than when she’s commanding the guards or doing her job since she feels she can let loose with you and not have to be as intimidating all the time even though she’s still very intimidating to you.
Naughty: How would they punish their darling?
At first for punishments there not that harsh you might get locked up for a few days or she might keep you chained to her for a bit and will make sure you can’t go anywhere without one of the jaegers being with you. But when you really anger her she stops being nice she’s going to show you why she’s feared by everyone.
Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?
Your privacy is what’s going to be taken away. You won’t be able to go anywhere without one of the jaegers or Esdeath herself accompanying you and you won’t have any privacy because your never going to be alone since someone is always going to be with you watching you. This may change in the future though if Esdeath starts to trust you.
Patience: How patient are they with their darling?
She’s actually quite patient with her darling since she wants them to like her, so she tries her best not to rush them with much and tries to be understanding to not lose her patience.
Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?
She wouldn’t be able to move on if you escape or leave she’s going to hunt you down, she will send as many guards as it takes to find you and bring her darling back to her. If you die she will act like she never cared on the outside, but on the inside she’s slightly saddened by your departure she won’t ever forget you and if her time ever comes she will be there to join you.
Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?
No she won’t feel guilty since she’s convinced that she’s done the right thing and that you will be happier here with her. Well, you better get used to it since she will never let her darling go once she’s caught them.
Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?
Well, she’s always been like this since childhood, but not until recently has she found someone to love like you to show her more loving side, but her sadistic side she’s been like this since childhood.
Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?
She doesn’t like you crying since it’s weak and your not weak since your her darling after all, if you isolate yourself she will allow it for a bit, but after a while she will interrupt your isolation and stay with you. Doesn’t mind your screaming actually likes hearing your screams of terror.
Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?
The one thing she would do differently from the classic yandere is killing. Her methods of killing are going to be very brutal and torturous more than the classic yandere
Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?
Her love and trust for you. She trusts you to go out with one member of the jeagers for missions and while there distracted you can try and escape,but choose wisely which member you run away from.
Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?
Not really, unless your into that stuff or if you join night raid or any other rival group because this means your her enemy and she will have to destroy you then.
Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?
Worships the ground you walk on she thinks your amazing and only second too her.
To win her darling over she will go to drastic lengths she’d destroy a million villages if it meant she could win you over, she’s willing to do anything you want her to do to win you over, but don’t take advantage of this because she’s not afraid to remind you who’s in charge.
Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?
There’s no chance for her to snap since she doesn’t pine after you long enough since as soon as she lays her eyes upon you your being whisked away by her.
Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?
Yes, eventually she will become too much for you resulting in you breaking becoming a lifeless shell of what you once were.

Yandere Esdeath headcanons
So this is quite easy as she is a canon yandere, she is obsessive, possessive, protective and I’d even say she’s delusional. She is powerful and feared, efficient and cruel, calculating and ruthless. That whole demeanor changes when she is around you. Yes, she loves to battle, the rush of being the strongest, of being the fastest and best fighter there might be. And while she would not want to miss that, she also wishes for other experiences. A first crush, confessing ones feelings, going on cute dates, impressing her partner with her raw and unmatched ability, taking a breather to just look at the world and it’s beauty.
That’s were you come in. You were just so cute in her eyes, headstrong and fierce but kind and seemingly innocent with a smile she fell for the moment she first saw it. From then on, you found yourself having the most fierce self proclaimed lover one could even imagine. She’d immediately go over to courting you, blushing and giggling an almost scary amount, those that had seen her in action shivering at the sudden shift of personality.
Flowers, chocolate, paintings and so on, anything she could get her hands on for you she got. It doesn’t matter that she threatened those close to you for your personal information. Yet she is extremely ecstatic when she can get you something that you yourself told her you like, giddily watching your reaction even closer than normal. Be careful to like her gifts, especially when they were hand made by her, if you refuse them for too long Esdeath will be in quite the bad mood, not that she would let you see that, but everyone else should better hide upon sight.
She will find a way to insert herself into your life, suddenly appearing everywhere you are and striking up a conversation, not even trying to hide her advances. At first you’re more than likely to get surprised, terrified even, everyone, including you, knows who Esdeath is, and her randomly meeting you everywhere is surely a bad sign. However, it’s hard to keep thinking that way when she acts so clearly love-struck, hearts practically floating around her whenever she is with you. At worst you might find her creepy but there is nothing you can do about that, as if you would tell her that to the face.
She’ll plan out dates with you that you didn’t even agree to, but too bad, your employer also somehow gave you the exact day off so there is no way you could refuse the offer. The time spend with you will be romantic in all aspects, she’ll have rented out the best restaurants, having them covered in your favorite flowers; she’ll go sightseeing with you, using her power to create platforms of ice to get a better view of your surroundings; she’ll go shopping with, enjoying the hustle around the two of you as if she was an average person. There will always be something new to do with her and if you’re interested she’d love to take you to other countries, too, though you have to expect that she’ll first wipe out their military, giving you a first class seat to watch as she tears through their armies as if it was nothing. You are welcome to join her if you want, you fighting by her side is a dream come true for her.
When the two of you have gotten to know each other enough, she will deem it time that you move in together. The two of you are fated to be either way, so who cares when she only met you a week ago. The preparations will be over with quickly and suddenly all your essentials will be moved to your new home, be that with your consent or without.
There will be some people that will try to take advantage of your new position. Rest assured though, Esdeath will make sure that no one will try to use you or mess with you, their head rolling on the ground before they can even further plan out how to manipulate you. You are hers and while she fully believes in your strength, there is no way she’ll let you get caught up in politics, those bastards will have to search for another way to make her do their biding outside of the battle field, as if they could achieve that.

Laughter swirls up into the sky as you sit shoulder to shoulder with the green haired boy next to you. It’s a beautiful evening, the grounds of the mansion twinkling with bird calls. The capital stands as strong as it ever was, the full force of the empire behind it.
You turn to gaze at him, a smile on your lips.
Lubbock’s eyes are distant, fixed on the horizon. His bangs fall into his eyes and his expression is unusually thoughtful.
“Hey,” you nudge him. “What’re you thinking about?”
He turns and his eyes cloud over as they focus on you. He laughs again, but this time it sounds a bit broken. “Just... a different future.”
“A different one? Why would you ever want that?” you lean into him, giggling.
“No, it’s just that...” he shakes his head, his throat hitching. “Don’t you feel this world’s a bit messed up sometimes?”
You stare at him. “Are you kidding? What more could you want? You’re here, you’re happy...” You lower your voice conspiratorially. “You have me.”
“It’s not that,” he murmurs, so low that it’s hard to catch. As if sensing your disapproval, he looks down, words coming out in a stuttering flow now. “All this time... do you know what happens to the poor in this city?”
“Feeling benevolent, are we?” you grin quizzically.
“ No, they’re used...farmed like cattle, like cogs in a giant machine. It’s-” he shuts his eyes, breathes. “Evil, just plain evil. That’s what this government turns a blind eye to- and they, they just kill anyone who says any different. Slaughter them all. It’s just wrong,” he says. “Wrong,” he repeats vehemently, whipping around his head to look at you. “You think so, don’t you?”
You stare incredulously at him. You’ve rarely seen him be so spirited about anything like this, and you suddenly feel a surge of envy. “Who fucking put these thoughts in your head, Lubbo?” you scowl.
He smiles again, but this time it’s more painful to look at. “Have you heard of Najenda?”
You cock your head. “Najenda? Wasn’t she the leader of the terrorist outfit they dismantled a while back?”
“Dismantle? (y/n), I-” he bites his lip. “General Esdeath and her team of mercenaries massacred Night Raid. They beheaded Najenda, lopped all their heads off... propped them up on spikes in the middle of the city. How is that not just cruel?” Lubbock shakes his head, his face twisted in pained mirth. The expression doesn’t suit him, you think. You prefer the carefree Lubbock, not- not whatever this is.
“Yeah well,” you shrug. “Night Raid probably deserved it.”
Lubbock’s smile is sad as he says, “Would you have said the same thing if I’d joined it?”
You pause. “What? Joined it? Lubbo, what are you saying?”
“Crazy, I know.” he throws his head back, staring at the sky. “But perhaps I could’ve actually achieved something.”
“Th- that’s stupid,” you force out. “You would have died!”
“Maybe, yeah.” he exhales slowly. “Sometimes I think I could’ve made a difference... but yeah, you’re right. It’s stupid to think about.”
He hoists himself up to his feet. “I’m going to bed, yeah?”
You hear his footsteps walk away as you open your mouth again, your gaze fixated on the setting sun. “Lubbo?”
“Yeah?”
“Why didn’t you end up going? With Night Raid, I mean.”
You can’t see his face, but you hear the smile in his voice as he says, “Isn’t it obvious? Because of you.”

The wind blew across the dusty streets of the Imperial City as citizens began crowding around the two combatants that were center stage: The Great General Esdeath & You, a lone hunter with no ties to the Empire whatsoever. You stood before her with your sword drawn but your eyes trained on the smirk on her face, she was dangerous - the scent of iron on her flesh was evident enough of that. You looked around at the people - if you did this fight here, lots of people would get hurt, possibly killed and you didn't want those deaths on your head.
You narrowed your eyes sharply, and her eyes widened slightly, as you jumped into the air at unbelievable heights; not possible for an average human as you landed on the roof of a building before you turned tail and began running and jumping from roof to roof. The General smirked at this and jumped after you before chasing you, the gates were close and you knew you would need to use your 'Imperial Arms' if you wanted to get through it without dealing with the guards.
Esdeath was a trained killer - knowing to expect the unexpected- but what happened next, she could never have anticipated: She noticed she was following a trail of black footprints as if the ground was charred, she looked at your feet and noticed 3 things - The steam coming from the soles of your feet, the sudden heat in the trail she was running in, and the sudden burst of fire that completely engulfed your feet, shins, and calves. Your legs were on fire.
You began to pick up in speed as you jumped from the last building and landed on the ground before darting to the open gate, the guards were confused as they stared at your burning legs before you darted past them and out the gate - into the wilds you disappeared, well, not entirely. Esdeath was still on your trail as she followed the scarred ground and stopped when she arrived at a clearing - there you stood, in the middle with your legs no longer ablaze but still steaming.
"You're not human," Esdeath smirked as she pointed her sword at you.
"You're not human either, General. I heard the rumors about you - the one who buried an entire kingdom under the ice." You said as you pointed your sword at her as well; you knew she was powerful and she wouldn't hesitate to kill you or do whatever she wanted to do to you.
You needed to play your cards right and fight her before you got a chance to get away from her. After all, the fire in your veins would melt the ice in her, and hopefully, that would be enough.

- Having your girlfriend be the leader of a dangerous assassin group meant you always had to be ready to be put in danger, but you were assured by Najenda that you'd always be safe.
- But you weren't safe this time, in fact it was quite the opposite, you've been captured by General Esdeath herself, why? to draw out Night Raid. You begged and pleaded for Esdeath to stop this and let you go but she didn't.
- eventually her plan worked, Najenda herself came too, alone. You knew your girlfriend was strong but wouldn't it be better to come with a little bit of help? if she got injured you wouldn't be able to do much, you've been behind bars.
- It was a brutal and bloody fight but Najenda ended up winning and you were brought back home safely, immediately being taken care of by her herself and the other members of Night Raid..in their own ways of course.
- You were happy to be back, and happy that your dearest girlfriend wasn't hurt. After everything was over you and her cuddled for hours on end, she missed her girlfriend and you missed her too, plus you both really needed cuddles.

♥ YANDERE REACTIONS: How would Esdeath, Run and Wave react to finding out that their darling has escaped? Darling went in to hiding and is trying so hard to get away... But, we all know that will not last for long.
♠ AUTHORS NOTE: LISTEN, I KNOW AKAME GA KILL IS PRETTY MUCH DEAD BUT DANG IT, THAT WILL NOT STOP ME FROM WRITING FOR IT!! Also, the original plan was to write for the entire squad but these three are my faves so I just cast the rest aside LMAO
We all know just how persistent Esdeath truly is - the harder something is to get, the more she wants it. She usually does not tolerate such blatant disobedience from anyone but her darling is the sole exception. As worried as she is, Esdeath can't help but to find this little escape attempt amusing, if not downright adorable. She simultaneously both admires and pities this sudden surge of courage her darling got.
But come on, honestly, where on Earth could her darling go? No home, friends and family to return to, the only place in this world where darling could ever belong is by Esdeath's side, and she firmly believes that. Esdeath will tear down the capital if she must but no matter what she WILL find her darling. No matter where darling runs, they can't hide forever. The longest period of time of their separation is probably going to be a few months, if darling gets lucky that is. In no time, Esdeath will find her darling and she will bring them back home. Darling is probably going to get punished and Esdeath is going to enjoy every minute of it. Now, she won't be too harsh on them but that sadistic smile on her face is a good indicator that she is not letting her darling off the hook any time soon.
Throught any sort of chaos Run never fails to keep a cool head on his shoulders, which is often quite beneficial to him. So, it seems as though his dearest ran away, yes? Run is quick to take action and there is nothing in the world that can stop him. On the outside, he may fool people in to thinking that he is perfectly fine and that nothing is troubling him - however, those with a trained eye know better and Run’s body language speaks for itself. He is much more uptight than usual and his characteristic smile has this certain sharp edge to it which no one is able to pin down. Regardless of his worries, Run is still able to fulfil his duties without incident... At least, during the daytime at least.
The moment the sun goes down Run is prowling through the night skies like a hawk. His eyes are all over the place and his senses are silghtly muffled by the chilly wind but he pays no mind to it. He is worried sick, who knows where his s/o ran off to! His s/o probably will not be able to leave the capital because Run put up wanted posters all over the city, someone is bound to find his darling at some point if he doesn’t do so himself.
In contrast to Run, Wave is far more open and emotional about his feelings and worry. Everyone around him is telling him to pull himself together but he just can’t!! His darling is somewhere out there, all alone with no one to defend them!! How the Hell can he possibly be calm?! He knows all to well about the dangers tht lurk inside the capital let alone outside of it. Danger beasts, bandits, criminals, his darling could get killed at any given moment at that thought alone almost brings Wave to his knees. Despite his endless anxiety, Wave remains vigilant and searches for his darling with a hopeful heart - he will find them, he has to find them! There is no other option...!
Wave is most likely going to assemble a search party and start looking as soon as humanly possible. The capital itself is large, his darling couldn’t have gotten far. All he can do is pray that his darling is alive and in one piece... or so help the poor bastard who dared to lay a finger on his darling.

♡ Esdeath ♡
(y/n) could still feel the chill running through her bones. She was in the royal palace, in the room of the mightly Esdeath no less. The chains around her legs rattled, creating that horrible sound that she despised to much. She tried to take in as much of the sweet silence as she could, because she knew that Esdeath was coming soon.
She was her so called mistress... her lover.
And Esdeath made sure that the entire damn capital knew that. She would always painfully tug on the chain that surrounded (y/n)'s neck, but Esdeath would always try to kiss the pain away. She left many scars and bruises on (y/n)'s now weak and frail body, and Esdeath loved each and every one of them. She would always take off her gloves and lightly touch those scars, and she would always look at them as though she was looking at the most beautiful piece of art work in the world.
(y/n) could feel the tears that were threatening to spill, but she was too scared to cry. If she cried, Esdeath would always tried to comfort her, which made (y/n) feel even more miserable and pathetic. But she couldn't help it this time. (y/n) was now clutching her head with her arms, and was sobbing so loudly that it echoed through the giant room. She couldn't take this anymore, she couldn't take this anymore, she couldn't take this anymore, SHE COULDN'T TAKE-!
"I'm back my love~!"
There it was. That horrid voice that terrifed (y/n) to the bone. She was hyperventilating by this point, as she just stared at her captor in shock. Esdeath now had a look of concern on her face as she hurridly walked over to (y/n). She held her tightly and bombarded her with questions, but (y/n) didn't understand any of them. She could hear Esdeath talking, but she was somehow able to block her out. (y/n) stared blankly at the ceiling, tears still running down her bruised cheeks, but her eyes held no emotion what so ever.
Esdeath continued to ask questions, and maybe even chat a little with her beloved, but she wouldn't speak at all. But for now, Esdeath was content. She had her darling by her side, and she could have her all to herself. It would take (y/n) some time to adjust to this new lifestyle though, but Esdeath was willing to do anything to help. In the near future, (y/n) would learn to appreciate and love Esdeath, just as much, if not more then now! They could be happy together, and they could do whatever they pleased! Even if it meant breaking (y/n) down in the process, Esdeath was more then willing to rebuild her darling from the ground up.
