I cannot believe this is real.
All of the jobs I have had, where I wrote on receipt papers just to keep up with writing, all of it came down to this moment. There have been so many stories born and bred from where I have been so far. Inspiration is never just in one place; it is everywhere if you look hard enough. Whether the market, a restaurant, a gas station, or an office. There is never one path to the destination, but many, many roads that get you there.

The year is 2024, 8 years post release, and Pokemon Go not only finally gives trainers the ability to have more than just the default hair style and one of four eye and skin colors, but decided while they were there to completely blast every other Pokemon Game in the world out of existence by removing Gender entirely and giving the player customizable body types complete with separate sliders for Weight, Muscle, Shoulders, Chest, and Waist

ngl the worst thing about the xenoblade fandom (which I think is the root cause of a lot of other issues) is that it’s mostly on twitter. I have to subject myself to twitter for any real consistent fan talk or content. legit there's always some new stupid topic of argument ive noticed in the past few weeks on there and its all very silly and frustrating and what im saying is everyone should move to Tumblr. please. for me.

Wow I fucking LOVE strong women characters and I LOVE it when they show real emotions like a person, whether that be crying over a man/woman or struggling to be strong, I love it when they're written like ACTUAL people.
I'm so tired of women characters having to be portrayed as a 'badass' to be liked by GA because when they are portrayed that way, people will still hate them for being 'too' strong.
Women characters can be strong while facing struggles, and they don't have to be perfect at it. Surprise! They're allowed to be human!

just realized i havent told half this friend group in non binary... its been like a year :) how has this not come up??????

Characters from two different books who have some things in common. On the left is Lubella, a non-binary ancient creature who eats demons, goes by they/them, and occupies their original human body, and Seth, a young human guy who forms psychic bonds with mythical beasts.
Lubella belongs to C.J. York, the author whose book I was the editor for. The book is called Legacies, and I'd define it as "Supernatural-ish found family, only more queer and with more people of color and with its own original plot with more witchcraft and less angels." There are plenty of demons in there, though, boy howdy...
