Has SK Sun ever caught kids who tried to sneak their pets into the library? What about less conventional pets like birds, snakes, and tarantulas? Also, does the library allow emotional support and service animals? Does SK Moon run into this problem at the amusement park as well?
Sun only allows emotional support and service animals into the library. He understands some humans need them, yet he also keeps in mind any allergies some visitors may have.
Moon allows ESAs and service animals into the amusement park, they just can't go on most of the rides with their handlers.

Art Snacks
Trying to get back into an art form that you have abandoned for decades to be a mother and working professional is…interesting! In my prior blog post, titled Mother Artist, I talked about all the things that have to fall into place in order to actually sit down and accomplish a peicd of art work. However, I realize I may be setting the bar too high. If you break down any goal (thinking like…

Writer would you ever…write your own take on Peter having a service animal?
That sounds like something I would possibly write. I love the idea of Peter having a service animal or an Emotional Support Animal. In the future, an Emotional Support Animal is something I could potentially work into my Fostering Hope / Selectivly-Non-Verbal Foster Child Peter Parker AU.

I’ve been thinking of getting a Dog (Poodle) as a Emotional Support Animal, after some research I’ve decided the best type would be a Standard Size Male, bc they’re far more friendly and Standards are much more cat-friendly apparently?
Anyway I drew this of my cat and whatever possible coat color he’ll have- atm I’m working on names. The girl names were easier to come up with tbh, but I’m sure names will come to me in time.
I’ll also post a gif w the changing colors at some point-
Colors L to R
Row 1
White | Silver | Black
Row 2
Cream | Apricot | Red

if you ever need to understand what "universal experience" means, just look at the wealth of poems about depression and finding value in oneself from being able to make a cat (or dog) happy

Dear Diary,
My patience for bullshit is unsettling thin. I’m trying to manage and cope before I hit my breaking point. But my god is thin about to shatter.

"Buddy: Origin Story"
.
.
I have an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) tortoise. His name is Buddy. He helps me get up in the morning because I need to take care of him. I've had him for about 8 years now.
(Read about ESAs here)

This is one of those "register your pet as an emotional support animal regardless of their behavior or actual need! Suck it leash laws!"
Emotional support animals are for people who need them and, while not the same as service animals, are still expected to be well trained.
I'm so sick of people with "support animals" who are just terrors in public. Growling/attacking people or other animals, sitting at the table in restaurants instead of on the floor, sometimes even going to the bathroom inside.
The worst part is the bad behaved fake ones make it harder for people with real support animals (of any kind) to go anywhere with said support animal regardless of the animals behavior.
Your pet needs to be
Friendly with people and other animals
House broken
Quiet (when not on break and playing)
Leash trained if possible (though even rodents and birds should still have a leash and harness just in case)
And have food manners (they won't try to steal food from people (even you))
All very basic things.
The amount of times I have seen people with fake service animals is ridiculous. (I always give the benefit of the doubt and base it off the animals behavior first and whether the handler corrects any misbehavior or not)
People who use the emotional support animal laws to bring their poorly behaved pets places is a big problem and makes business owners not want to serve any disabled person who has an animal because they assume the animal will misbehave.
If you need an emotional support animal that is 100% valid. Hell if you just want to bring you pet everywhere I get that too.
But for the love of God train them to behave in public.

i am in dire need of assistance.
my name is ace, i moved out of my abusive mother’s house 10 months ago to live with my father, he fell ill and passed a month later, 9 months ago now, and i left the job i had at the advice of my therapist to take some time off because of my mental health.
my mother stole my vehicle a few months back and had the codes changed so my key will no longer work for it and will only return it once i insure and register it in my own name which is going to cost upwards of $300. i live in a small city with a few and far between bus schedule and need a reliable vehicle to start a new job.
i’m also trying to scrape together money to buy food and litter for my two emotional support cats. i am okay on food for myself but i am struggling to pay for these two cats that have saved my life.
any assistance or even signal boosts would be appreciated so, so much.
i can do tarot readings or one-shot commissions of pretty much any characters fluff or nsfw, or whatever anyone wants if you’d feel more comfortable buying something instead of just donating.
i have a ko-fi available and
my venmo is; a-camporeale
my cashapp is; $acamporeale
please anything helps.
$0/$450

There's an ad on YouTube right now for a site called "Official ESA" that is encouraging people to register their normal pets as Emotional Support Animals, stating that if they are ESAs, they will legally be allowed in restaurants and stores.
THIS IS NOT TRUE.
ESAs are not protected by ADA law the way Service Animals are. This site is an absolute scam to steal your money - there is a reason Service Animals have to go through so much training and ESAs don't. ESAs are not trained to properly be around people, food, or Service Animals. Many "ESAs" can actually interfere directly with a Service Animal's trained duties, which can harm or even kill their handler.
Consider this scenario: because your yappy purse Chihuahua that you just couldn't BARE to leave at home kept distracting someone's Service Animal, they weren't able to detect a seizure in time and their handler ended up hitting their head and splitting it open. Congratulations, you are now liable for paying any potential bills if they decide to sue you (which they absolutely can). Hope you enjoy losing all that money and the knowledge that you could have seriously hurt someone because you couldn't leave your pet at home for an hour while you ran errands.
This is going to fuck over people with Service Animals like you wouldn't believe. People already lie about their pets constantly to bring them indoors; now they're going to present some "official" certificate to prove they're allowed.
Until the ADA protects ESAs the same way they do Service Animals, there is no certification available that will make it so that your ESA HAS to be allowed in a restaurant or store. They are not a protected group (This is not to say ESAs are not important; they absolutely are. But they do not have the training required to be protected by law).
The people running this site are doing this because they know people will fall for it and they'll get money from it. That's all there is to it.

The best one I've found yet. A great visual that explains the difference between Service Dogs, Emotional Support Animals, and Therapy Dogs.
