Hey I want to know if you can do a head Cannon for being Bella's younger adopted brother and be imprinted by Embry call
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You and Bella didn’t have a good relationship. You were her God Brother but after your parents died your Godfather, Charlie took you in and eventually adopted you. Bella knew this when she decided to move back to Forks, she was just surprised to see how close you were with Charlie and a little(very) Jealous.
Bella was very close with the cullens but you stayed away. You didn’t think they were bad people or anything, you just preferred to spend your time At La Push or on the reservation like you had since you were young.
You kept yourself distant from the Cullens so the day of Bella’s birthday you gave her your card and left her alone. Then, the Cullens left and Bella became a zombie and you thought it couldn’t have happened to a nicer person. In the almost two years Bella had been back in Forks she’d been a bitch to you the entire time.
So, after a week of Jacob ignoring her, you followed her up to the reservation when, to your dismay, she was going to confront Jacob. You drove as fast as she could but Bella had a ten minute head start.
As you got out of your car you could see Bella yelling at a group of tribe members which you recognized all of them as you’d been to La Push sooooo many times.  By this point you were running to your sister to keep Bella from making a huge mistake. But as you heard Sam trying to calm Paul down. You felt a pair of arms wrap around you and you were turned to face the person restraining you.
You were very surprised to see your old friend Embry Call. Embry had been one of the very few people you came out as Gay. Embry had a smile and told you “Don’t worry Y/N, you’re still the guy I’ve known since pre-school.” And indeed you were, nothing had changed except in the last few months you only exchanged texts. You had missed your friend and it was only when you started to text that you realized you had from a crush on Embry. As you looked into Embry’s eyes you stopped struggling in Embry’s arms. You felt as if you only cared about Embry, so much so that you didn’t even notice Embry carrying you to Sam and Emily’s house.
“So let me get this straight, vampires and werewolves are real, the Cullens(Embry don't you dare growl at me) are vampires and you guys aren’t really werewolves but shapeshifters, and my idiot sister was dating on and now I’m Embry’s soul mate????” You asked while nearly ripping your hair out. Embry’s touch on your hand keeps you grounded. He calmly explained to you what your steps were from there.
Your heart always melts when Embry kisses you and tells you how much he loves you. He’s also like a personal space heater whenever  you cuddle. You and Embry cut off all contact with Bella after her wedding as she called you a fag.
Embry stayed with you while you sobbed and ran his hand through your hand. You don’t know how you got so lucky and you wouldn’t change a thing.

Ainsel (Unicorn) x F Reader
W: minor character murder, light kidnapping, yandere behavior, sfw yandere fluff
Tumblr media
“Ainsel, pay attention,” the unicorn’s father growled as his eyes drifted over the display, “do you want navy or white?”
Ainsel sighed, blinking his bright blue eyes slowly.
“I don’t care, father,” he said, “just pick something.”
His father turned on him impatiently.
“This is important Ainsel,” he snapped, “you are one of the last marriageable unicorns on the planet. You need to be serious about choosing a wife. The Embry’s have one of the only female unicorn daughters in existence. You have to make a good impression.”
He rolled his eyes.
“If she is one of the last, why should it matter?” he huffed, “we don’t really have a choice do we? I marry her and have as many babies as possible, or else. It shouldn’t matter what I look like.”
His father pinched his lips into a fine line.
“There are other males interested in her,” he went on, “if you don’t make a good impression she’ll choose another and there won't be any other options.”
Ainsel shrugged carelessly.
“I could marry a human,” he said, “they will birth a unicorn baby.”
His father took in a sharp breath.
“You will not marry a human,” he snarled, “I won’t have our bloodline sullied with human genes. We’ve been full blooded unicorns for generations!  A half human baby will have weak magic…then what if the next generation copulates with a human? And the next? We’ll be diluted to nothing.”
Ainsel had heard this speech a hundred times before, from both his father and mother, but the truth was he couldn’t care less the purity of his bloodline. Especially if he had to marry a mare he hardly knew. He’d seen pictures of Elaine, but she didn’t stir his blood. He hated his parents for forcing this on him. He wanted to live his own life…make his own choices. He wanted to be happy, not a miserable baby maker, shoving his half limp cock into someone he had no interest in to produce heirs.
“I’m sorry it’s taking so long,” you apologized, entering the large dressing room where the two wealthy unicorns were looking at suits, “Mr. Scott had to take a call, but I can help you. Here are the other options he wanted you to try.”
You hung up a powder blue suit and a cool gray one on the rack for them to look at.
Ainsel was not looking at the suits, however, he was looking at you.
His father grumbled a bit under his breath about having been waiting forever, but turned his attention to the powder blue suit.
“I think this one is best,” he said, pulling it off the rack and holding it up to examine the stitching.
“What do you think, miss…?”  Ainsel asked, hoping you would give him your name.
You cleared your throat a bit nervously. Your job was usually tailoring the suits, not selling them.
“(Y/N) and personally I think the white one will have the most impact, but it should reflect your taste, not mine. Any suit will look its best when the wearer is confident and comfortable in it.”
He couldn’t help but smile at your sweet, full cheeks and bright, sparkling eyes.
“You're the expert,” he said, taking in the flattering little paper bag pants and white blouse you were wearing. You looked so neat and tidy with your hair swept away from your face. He couldn’t help but think you were adorable.
You bit your bottom lip, considering the suits you’d brought in very carefully, wrinkling your brow just a little. The gesture made his cock stiffen in his pants as he imagined that little wrinkle between your eyes as he made you cum over and over again.
“I just think you can’t go wrong with a white suit. Especially if you want to stand out. It looks clean and eye-catching without being tacky.”
He only half heard what you were saying, his attention on the way your lips moved. He envisioned them stretched around his cock and had to step forward and angle his body away from you to pretend he was examining the white suite, so he could adjust his pants.
“Well what do you think?” his father huffed impatiently, “I don’t have all day.”
“I’ll go with the white one,” he said.
His father looked relieved.
“Alright,” the elder unicorn turned his attention to you, “Mr. Scott knows my account. Just charge whatever else he needs to that. I have other things to do.”
He glanced back at his son as he made his way out of the dressing room.
“Don’t be late for dinner!” he snapped and marched out, leaving the two of you alone.
“I can help you get dressed,” you said after a moment of silence, “once I’ve taken the measurements for the tailoring, we can look at a tie and shoes.”
Ainsel was happy to undress for you, eager to show off his assets. He knew he was beautiful, all unicorns were. He had a tall, lithe body packed with firm, corded muscles. Women fell over themselves for him whenever he went out. You couldn’t help but blush when he yanked the t-shirt he was wearing over his head, revealing his sculpted chest.
“You look like a model,” you sputtered to your own embarrassment.
“I mean- the suit is going to look great on you,” you said quickly.
Ainsel gave you a bright white smile and flexed his muscles just slightly hoping to draw even more stuttering words from your mouth.
With warm cheeks you quickly turned your attention to getting the suit ready instead of watching him undress. When you turned back around, he was only wearing gray boxer briefs that left nothing to the imagination, you could see the very clear imprint of his rather large cock, pressed against them and you blushed again.
“Um…” you muttered, almost dropping the black button up shirt in your hand.
There was a long silence while you took his body in, which he ate up, grinning at you from ear to ear.
“The shirt?” he asked playfully, stepping forward and brushing it with his fingertips, making sure to graze your smaller hands.
“Right!” you said, “um, let me help you.”
He liked the feeling of your warm fingers just barely touching his skin as you hurried to pull it over his shoulders and let you button it up for him. Not because he couldn’t, but because he liked your scent drifting up to him. You smelled sweet, like peaches.
“Um…it looks like we’ll have to take it in a little,” you mumbled, as you helped him into the pants, then the jacket, “but it looks good on you.”
His clean scent, something like spicy ginger and citrus, made you feel a little dizzy. You tried to brush the feeling away and focus on taking his measurements and securing the areas with pins that you would need to work on. Your cheeks heated when you bent in front of him to work on his inseam.
“My family is new to the area. What do you do for fun, when you’re not working?” he asked suddenly and you glanced up at him to find his bright, almost glowing, blue eyes focused on you. He was so beautiful, it was hard to believe he was real. His deep olive skin had a bit of a sheen to it, as if he was dusted in fine glitter and his raven hair reflected rainbow colors in the light.
You shrugged.
“I’m probably not the right person to ask,” you said, returning your attention to your work, “I’m a bit of a homebody except tonight, I guess.”
“What are you doing tonight?” he asked.
“Oh…um, my friend invited me out to a new bar. It’s the grand opening. I wouldn’t normally go, but he’s the owner…so…a few of us are going to support him.”
Ainsel didn’t like “he”, but he schooled his expression.
“Can I come?” he asked with the confidence of a man who never got turned down.
You blinked for a second unsure what to say.
“I’ve been incredibly bored,” he went on, “I don’t know anyone here my age…”
You nodded as you stood, not able to come up with a reason he couldn’t come.
“Sure…I guess. I don’t know how good it will be…” you mumbled and he reached a hand out to you.
“Give me your phone, I’ll put in my number,” he said, so you fished it out of your pocket and handed it to him.
“I’ll pick you up,” he said as he tapped his number into your phone and sent himself a text message from it, “just send me your address.”
You were too flustered by the ethereal unicorn wanting to go somewhere with you, your common sense had gone out the window. No one who looked like him had ever paid you any attention before, so when he handed it back, you put in your address and hit send. The name on the contact just said Ainsel with a unicorn emoji.
“(Y/N), I need you in the back!” Mr. Scott, barked in his gruff voice as he marched back into the room, “I’ll take over from here.”
“Of course!” you squeaked and scurried off before even saying goodbye.
You groaned at yourself in the mirror as you tried to put eyeliner on, finally giving up and just going with mascara and some dewy looking blush. You weren’t sure if this was supposed to be a date or if Ainsel really just wanted someone to show him around, so you struggled over what to wear.
You didn’t want to look like you tried too hard, but you also wanted him to think you looked nice. You tried to shake the thought from your head that it was a date. No one like him would want to date you, you thought. Still, you ended up picking a cute little vintage dress that matched your eyes and some comfortable low heels. You jumped when the doorbell rang, hurrying to smooth down the flyaways in your hair before answering the door.
Ainsel’s eyes drifted down your body and back up again when he stood before you and in his hands was a thick bouquet of assorted flowers in a glass vase.
“I didn’t know what was your favorite,” he said, handing it to you, “so I told the florist to use them all.”
He smiled at you, looking you up and down again.
“You look beautiful,” he said, his voice low and a bit husky.
“Oh.” was all you managed to get out, as you accepted the vase with shaking hands.
You turned to find a place for them and he followed you inside.
“This is cute,” he said, sauntering around your living room while you pushed some things off of your coffee table to make room for the flowers.
“It’s nothing special…I got a deal,” you mumbled, eager to shoo him out of your messy apartment, “we should go before it gets late.”
“Of course,” he said, placing a hand gently on your lower back as he guided you out of the door.
You swallowed thickly at the contact.
You made polite conversation in the car, asking how long he’d been in the area and where he moved from. The conversation came easily. Ainsel was charming and casual. He put you at ease, even though you were still stunned he wanted to come out with you. By the time you reached the restaurant he had you giggling over his silly stories about growing up a unicorn.
“Who is this?!” your friend Leslie asked with a knowing smile when you walked in the door with Ainsel on your arm.
Before you could introduce him, he stuck out his hand and told her his name. Your girlfriends were smitten, all asking him questions about his life and being a unicorn. You tried to stuff the little bit of jealousy down that they were giving him so much attention, but who wouldn’t want to talk to him? He was handsome and good at conversation, if not a bit aloof. He spoke with his head held high, always with his hand resting on your lower back, as if you were already a couple.
Ainsel couldn’t help but keep his hands on you. Truly, speaking with your friends was tiresome. He’d rather be alone, talking to you more, but he knew women paid careful attention to how their potential mate interacted with their friends. He wanted to make a good impression to get their approval, nothing more.
He only let you go when his phone buzzed in his pocket. Ainsel slipped out of the busy dining room to the small hallway where the bathrooms were to take the call.
“Where are you?!” his father snarled into the phone, “Elaine has been here waiting for you for an hour!”
Ainsel let out an impatient breath.
“I’m out, father,” he said, sounding bored, “I won't make it tonight.”
“You are seriously standing up one of the last female unicorns on the planet?” his father hissed back.
“Yes.” he said plainly, which prompted his father to devolve into a tantrum cursing him, that he’d ever had him, and how he planned on cutting him off if he didn’t drop what he was doing and make his way home immediately. Ainsel finally just hung up the phone. It buzzed immediately as his father tried to call him back, but he just turned the vibration off and sauntered back into the dining room.
A growl bubbled in his throat at what he saw.
Your friend, Josh, who owned the restaurant had you wrapped in  a big hug, lifting you off of your feet.
“Um…yes, it’s very nice, Josh, I like the decor,” you said, taking a step away from him when he put you down.
“I’m just so happy you could make it,” he beamed.
Ainsel shouldered past him, grabbing you by your elbow and pulling you against him possesively. Josh’s face fell just slightly at the contact, but he forced his practiced smile back on his lips.
“Who’s this?” he asked tightly.
“Oh, this is Ainsel. We met at-” you started to say, but Ainsel cut you off.
“I’m (Y/N)’s date,” he said, a smug aura hovering around him as he pulled you even closer and tucked you under his arm.
Your body tingled under his touch and your heart skipped in your chest.
“Oh…” Josh said, “I didn’t know you were seeing someone.”
“Well we just me-” you again started to say and again Ainsel cut you off with a kiss on your temple.
“I’m already starting to think of her as mine,” he said, squeezing your shoulder and making all of your girlfriends giggle and shoot you mischievous smiles.
You blanched at such a direct declaration, completely unsure what to say. Your mouth just hung open as Josh glared at Ainsel. He grabbed your chin lightly with his long fingers so that you were looking at him.
“Why don’t we get out of here?” he asked, “I’ve been wanting to show you my other form.”
You blinked up at him, both incredibly flattered and confused.
“Um…but we only just-,” you mumbled as he winked at your girlfriends and told them goodnight, talking right over you while he guided you out of the bar, his arm still wrapped around your shoulder.
“Bars are no fun,” he told you as he stuffed you back into his sports car, “let’s go someplace quiet.”
You were a bit miffed at leaving so early, but you were curious about his unicorn form, so you didn’t say a word as he started up the engine and drove the two of you to a pretty spot overlooking the city.
“This is much better,” he beamed, opening your door for you and helping you out of the car.
He pulled you into a clear spot and winked at you.
“I don’t show just anyone my unicorn form,” he said with a smile, “this is just for you to see.”
Your cheeks burned as he took a few steps away from you. You blinked and there he was, a lovely black unicorn with a pretty horn, reminding you of the inside of an abalone shell sticking out of his forehead.
He dipped his head and stepped towards you, encouraging you to touch him. You smoothed your slightly shaking hand over his cheek and ran your fingers through his silky jet mane. His eyes were the same illuminated blue. He bent down at the knee in front of you and it took a moment to realize he wanted you to climb on his back.
You carefully climbed on, making sure you didn’t tug at his mane too much as you straddled him. When you were comfortably seated he walked with a slow saunter, so similar to the way he walked as a human, into the sparse forest nearby.
The night was a bit chilly, but Ainsel was very, very warm, so you found yourself leaning down to press more of your body against him. This closeness pleased Ainsel immensely.
You had no way of knowing, but unicorns long ago would steal pretty maidens like you with just the tactic he was using then. As his magic surrounded you, invisible to you, you felt yourself getting a bit sleepy, relaxing even further against him. Soon your eyelids slipped shut and you fell asleep with a soft sigh.
“Mmmm,” you murmured as you slowly woke.
Firm fingers were carding your hair, which felt nice. You sighed and a deep chuckle hit your ears. Forcing your eyes open you met Ainsel’s blue irises looking at you.
“Have a nice nap?” he asked, with a smirk.
Blinking you looked around, trying to get your bearings. You were laying in a large soft bed in a pretty room that had definitely seen the touch of a professional designer.
“What- where am i?” you asked, groggily, sitting up.
Ainsel cupped your cheek gently before he answered.
“My bedroom,” he said, “exactly where you should be.”
“Where I- what?” you stuttered, trying to make your sleepy mind catch up with Ainsel’s words.
He scooted closer to you on the fluffy comforter that he’d tucked you under.
“You’re mine (Y/N),” he purred.
You blinked at him, confused.
“What do you mean by that?” you ventured and he pulled your hand up to his lips, kissing your knuckles, before turning it over and dropping light kisses over your palm.
“I want to be with you always,” he explained as his blue eyes flickered up to meet yours, “I don’t want anyone else to touch you. I don’t want you to smile for anyone but me.”
“Ainsel,” you said, letting out a nervous laugh, “that’s impossible…of course I’m going to smile at my friends.”
His brow furrowed.
“Why?” he snapped, clutching your hand tighter, “I’ve worked so hard to keep you. Done things…”
He trailed off, kissing the inside of your wrist.
“Done what?” you asked.
At that he brightened, eager to show off. Scooping you up in his arms he walked with a clip out of his bedroom. The mansion he lived in was beautiful and modern with lots of glass and chrome. He carried you down a flight of stairs and to what appeared to be an indoor swimming pool. Only the water was pink and something…some things…were floating on its surface. Your heart turned to ice when you realized what you were looking at.
You recognized one of the bodies floating in the pool… Ainsel’s father, the man who you’d met just hours before was clearly dead, his face marked with deep cuts. You glanced up to see the jagged hole in the glass ceiling where the two of his parents had fallen through. They must have broken their necks hitting the ceiling before they even made it to the pool.
“What have you done?” you whimpered, your voice wan.
Ainsel kissed your forehead.
“They wouldn’t let us be together,” he said, with clear disgust in his voice, “but it’s all better now. I think I’ll bury them beneath the rose bushes. My mother always liked roses.”
Your instinct was to escape and you thrashed in Ainsel’s arms, beating at his chest with your fists.
“Shhh…shhh,” he hummed at you, “I didn’t mean to upset you, love. I should have guessed you’re sensitive…that’s sweet…Just calm down. I’ll take care of everything. You’ll never have another worry as long as you live.”
Your breath kicked up and your heart pounded in your chest.
“Ainsel,” you gasped, staring at him, your face cold with fear, “you’re- you’re a murderer!”
He clucked at you, pressing you into his warm chest.
“That’s such an ugly word. I don’t want to hear you say it again,” he corrected you while he stroked your hair, quite pleased with himself, “I did what I had to do to make sure we could be together. My parents were horrible people…the world won’t miss them.”
“B-but…” you stuttered.
“None of that,” he chided, silencing you with a heavy kiss.
You froze against him, letting his mouth move over yours. His lips were warm, supple and you wanted so badly to give in. He was doing something to you, your body relaxing and your eyes fluttering as you tasted the mint of his mouth on your tongue.
“You’re going to be a good little mate, aren’t you?” he asked, pulling away, “I won't have to lock you in the basement, will I?”
You quickly shook your head, you didn’t want to be locked anywhere.
He twisted his mouth at you.
“Say, ‘No, my love.’” he ordered, his voice firm and with a bit more gravel than his usual tone.
“Um…no…my love,” you repeated quietly.
He rewarded you with a big smile.
“You are a good little mate!” he beamed.
You couldn’t stop your body from trembling in his arms. Would he kill you too if you didn’t behave?
“Poor thing, you’re cold,” he pouted, “don’t worry I’ll keep you warm!”
He carried you back to his bedroom, deciding to deal with the corpses in his pool later and set you down. Manipulating your stunned body like a doll, he unzipped your dress, letting the silky fabric pool at your feet. Pulling you back into his arms he tucked you under the large, warm comforter sliding in after you. His strong fingers made their way all over your body, greedily groping the bare flesh. He lay behind you, spooning you next to his larger form, while he sprinkled dappled kisses over your shoulders and neck.
“That feels nice, doesn’t it?” he asked, lightly nibbling your shoulder.
Terrified, you could only hum in agreement.
“We’re going to have a long, perfect life together, aren’t we little mate?” he asked, his breath stirring the bits of loose hair tucked behind your ear and making tingles shoot up your spine.
You gasped on your words, scared and unsure what to say.
“Just say ‘yes, my love’,” he whispered.
“Yes, my love,” you finally agreed after a moment.
“Good, little mate,” he purred, “you’re so obedient…we’re going to get along just fine.”

can I request Seth Clearwater x male reader
where male reader is Bella younger brother Seth age but he phases and becomes a shifter and nobody knows how or why Seth and male reader imprint on each other and just being cute and wholesome with each other but Jacob is giving male reader a hard time saying thing like Bella should have been to phase and if did she imprint on me and ECT but Seth put stop to that put Jacob in his place after he make male reader cry
🍎 Twilight
❀ Seth Clearwater x male (shifter) reader ⚣︎
A/N: thanks for the request and sorry for the long wait, I had a terrible writers block until today and then I just wrote the whole thing in one go XD, and I know ugh, self promo but I have a twilight story on Ao3 with the main being Bella’s twin and Jake imprinting on him (maybe some of you will like that too even if it’s not that similar to this story) (that’s also why it felt so weird to write Jake so mean XD I basically just finished a chapter from that story before writing this one, but I hope you like it)
tags/warnings: set in eclipse (aka the movie where Jake is kinda toxic), Jake is mean and has some issues, reader is Bella’s younger brother, also I wanted Bella to be a good sister, reader is a shifter and imprints on Seth
here‘s the link to the story on my Ao3:
Tumblr media
so that’s what imprinting feels like
“What happened?!”, Bella came jumping out of her car. Jacob had called her as soon as possible when Paul and Embry had found you in the middle of the forest. You had been scared - not just because there had been two giant wolves in front of you but also because you had just shifted into one too. They had managed to calm you down enough until Sam arrived. He had brought spare clothes from one of their “emergency supplies” that you put on after shifting back. Then they guided you to Jacob’s place. They had thought it would be the best idea since you had technically also grown up together with Bella although now you didn’t really have anything to do with each other anymore. And he was able to call Bella who had rushed over as fast as possible when she had processed what Jake told her. While waiting the other four wolves had already told you the essentialities of being a shifter and basically destroyed your whole world-perception.
As nice and caring as he had always been, Billy stayed by your side. You had gained a better relationship to Jacob’s dad than to Jacob himself. Especially since you still spent a little bit more time with your dad and therefore also Billy - even if it was just watching a game in your living room.
Bella came straight to you, only sparring Jake a sideways glance as she was too focused on you.
“Hey”, her voice was quiet and soft, “oh god, you’re shivering.” She placed her arms around you and pulled you closer. You hadn’t even noticed it until she said it.
“Just a bit much right now.”
“I know. Let’s go home so you can rest a little, mh?” You nodded.
“Wait, we still have so much to do now”, Jake said persistently, “You have to tell Charlie too. And what if he shifts again and hurts you?”
Bella now turned completely to him. “You can still do all of this tomorrow. He needs to sleep right now.”
Jake wanted to start again: “But what if-”
“Jake, let it be for now.”
That’s all she said before getting up with you and walking to her truck together.
“How did this happen?”, she asked on the drive home.
“I don’t know.” You put up your legs and put your arms around them even though you felt way too warm.
“I wasn’t feeling good and wanted to take a walk because it usually helps but then.. I don’t know.”
You big sister sighed and looked at you shortly before focusing back on the road. “Let’s worry about it tomorrow. It’s getting late and you seem tired.”
You only nodded while your eyelids already dropped.
When you arrived you walked straight to your room and the moment your head touched your pillow you were gone.
—
“We’ll do it step for step”, you stood next to Sam who would teach you today how to control your shifting so you would hopefully not hurt anybody around you or yourself - not to mention keeping the secret of the pack.
What he didn’t tell you then was that they’ve had a discussion just yesterday after Bella had picked you up whether or not they should officially include you in the pack since you were a new and special case. In the end they came to the conclusion that you would need and deserve the help and guide the others could give you. He also didn’t tell you that Jacob seemed a bit too disapproving of this new situation and that he guessed it had something to do with the thoughts he had heard from him that were once again centered on none other than your own sister.
“Okay”, you nodded; also to convince yourself that everything would be okay.
“Also, you’re not the only young member, don’t worry. Seth Clearwater, he is your age and has also shifted. You will meet him later at the fire.”
You had already agreed to come when he and Billy had invited you and Bella to come. Bella had added another dimension to this whole situation when she had told you about the Cullens and the vampire that was going after her. She had calmed you a bit when she reassured that she was as good as always protected by either the vampire family of her boyfriend or the wolves.
For the rest of the day you tried to shift on command and Sam and his fiancée Emily gave you a few tips on how to control your anger.
Then you went to the fire where you saw your sister again who immediately asked you how it worked. You still stood a bit away from the others as you told her about your training when you heard a voice. It was directed at Jake so didn’t turn around until the person came to a halt at Jacob’s side.
“Hey man, I saved you some burgers but if you don’t hurry Paul will-”
The boy stopped in the middle of his sentence when you turned around and your eyes met. Your first thought was: “Holy shit, he’s cute”. Your second one was: “So that’s what imprinting feels like”. And your third was once again: “Holy shit.”
Butterflies started fluttering in your stomach and the heat rose to your cheeks as you looked at the boy in front of you with wide eyes who still hadn’t closed his mouth.
To your luck Sam and Emily were still next to you and immediately understood what was happening. Sam suppressed a chuckle and introduced you to each other.
“(Y/N), this is Seth, the boy I told you about today. Seth, this is our newest pack-member, (Y/N).”
You saw his mouth form your name before he stuttered out a “hi”.
You willed your body to move again and said “hi” back just as stuttery.
“Uh-uhm..”, Seth started and was once again saved by Emily. “Why don’t we go to the others already.”
You nodded and then followed the other boy your age closely. What you didn’t notice was the pissed expression that had appeared on Jacob’s face. All of you was focused on Seth.
You sat next to each other and soon the gossip made it’s round so soon after Billy was finished with telling the first legend everyone knew what just happened.
Leah, who Seth had introduced as his older sister, looked at you with narrowed eyes but didn’t do anything else.
Throughout the evening your hands had brushed together a few times which had sparked the fluttering in your stomach everytime. And you had probably inched even closer together after some time too.
It was a bit awkward at first but it didn’t change the fact that you felt comfortable sitting next to him while listening and laughing with the others.
You were sad when saying goodbye but then Seth gave you his number and asked you to meet up tomorrow which you had agreed to almost too enthusiastically to not be embarrassed. It didn’t help that Bella giggled the entire ride home about her baby-brother having a crush.
“Naw, you grow up so fast.”
“Ughhhhhh, please stop.”
Bella laughed while pulling into their driveway: “Never, that’s my job as your sister.”
“You’re horrible”, you said drily while she just continued giggling.
But then she changed the mood quickly. “You decided to tell dad tomorrow, right?”
“Yeah.. Billy and Sam are gonna be there too to answer questions. I’m still not the best at wolf-knowledge.”
“Mhm, it’ll be okay, don’t worry too much. If you want I can be there too.”
You nodded and earned yourself a short side-hug from Bella before you went to your rooms.
You were close to emotional exhaustion after the conversation with your dad but it had a good outcome. Afterwards Edward picked up Bella and you went to meet up with Seth. Sam and Billy were so nice to take you with them to the Black’s home from where you would go to Seth.
Billy went inside while you waved at him and went to go.
But shortly before you arrived someone came to stand in your way. It was Jacob. And he didn’t seem to want to talk to you in a friendly way.
You still tried to be nice; he was like Bella’s best friend so you really didn’t want to make him dislike you more than he apparently already did.
“Why?!”
You were perplexed when he almost spat it at you. You also didn’t have a chance to respond; he just continued talking.
“Why was it YOU?! Why did YOU shift?! It should’ve been Bella if anyone else were to shift at all! But no! It was YOU! If it had been Bella then she could imprint on me! But it was you! It doesn’t even make sense! Why would nature want YOU to be one of us?! You’re unable to do anything! You’re weak! And now you’re just supposed to protect others?! To protect Bella?! Hah!”
His accusations that in the end didn’t even really make sense but still hurt carried on. You didn’t actually hear anymore what he said. You were about to cry and just wanted to coil into yourself but at the same time you had to suppress the anger rising in you. Your whole body shook from the exhausting try to hold yourself together. A few tears escaped your eyes and Jacob was still not done, probably just repeating himself by now but that didn’t change the fact that he was more than angry.
“Jacob! Stop!”, before you could register anything else a person appeared between you and the other. You felt relief wash over you immediately when you saw that it was Seth.
“How dare you scream at him like that! Accusing him of being the source of your stupid self-centered problems! How dare you make him cry! Don’t you ever even come too close to him again!”
Jake seemed to want to say something more but Seth turned to you, took your hand into his and gently pulled you with him. You only noticed that you were still shaking when Seth stopped after arriving at a clearing and pulled you into his arms. You couldn’t stop the tears from flowing and Seth pulled you closer while you clutched his shirt in your hands.
After you calmed down you whispered a “thank you” against his neck where you had hid your face.
“Of course”, he whispered back, “nobody is allowed to talk to or about you like that. Nobody." His arms tightened around you again and you felt his face hide in your neck this time. You smiled when you noticed him taking a deep whiff of your scent and then place a kiss there.

Every cell in his body tenses up. He turns his nose upward, sniffing. Leah nudges Seth and Seth clears his throat, gazing at Embry with his brows knit together in concern. “Embry? Are you good, man?”
“Y-yeah. Just feeling a little weird. Hey, is Emily baking anything that has marshmallow in it right now?” Embry mumbles the question, half-dazed. Beside him, Jared and Paul begin to snicker quietly amongst themselves.
Leah studies Embry intently.
“Are you sure you’re okay? Your face… it’s really flushed right now.” Leah gives her pack mate a look of maternal concern and she leans outward, placing the back of her hand against his forehead. As soon as she feels the searing heat that’s taken over his body, she hisses and snatches her hand away.
But she’s grinning like the cat who ate the canary and this prompts Embry to raise a brow and scoff. “What? What’s that look for?”
“Seriously?” Quil questions.
“Seriously. What the hell are you all looking at me like that for, hm?” Embry deadpans.
And then, the scent is stronger. And his vision begins to tunnel as his skin tightens almost painfully. When he doubles over and grits his teeth, swears pushing through his tight clenched jaw, Paul and Jared share a look and Jared claps a hand down on his shoulder. “You’re imprinting.”
“This is what that feels like?” Embry glances up at the other male, pain filling his eyes. “Are you fucking kidding me right now?”
“Oh no. Nope, not at all. It really does hurt that bad.” Seth remarks, Quil’s solemn nod in agreement has Embry swallowing down a massive lump in his throat. His heart’s sped up and the urge to let his other form take over, long dormant by now, that takes over and before he realizes it, he’s running. Ignoring the brambles and the limbs, everything around him but the sweet scent of the one thing he’s longed for most of all.
Seth and Quil shift too, determined to be there to ‘help’ their best friend through this major milestone -and Quil bringing his clothing so that when Embry is finally face to face with you at last, he’s not bare-ass naked with no explanation as to why.
Because that would be awkward.
As he runs, all he can think about is a) it’s finally happening after all this time and b) he finds himself thinking about you and this is something he used to do all the time before you moved away and something he’s made a strong effort not to do in at least two years now. He finds himself hoping against hopes that somehow, you’re his imprint…Because he’s missed you so much and he’s always been drawn to you.
And if you are his imprint, the reason why is crystal clear to him now.
You’re pushing the cart through the parking lot of the reservation grocery store when you feel someone’s eyes glued to you. Paranoid because of all the toilet paper in your trunk and the four boxes of eggs in your cart right now, you freeze and your eyes dart around all over. But you don’t see anyone, so you start your trek back to the black Mustang parked a few feet ahead. Your car is in sight when you hear your name being shouted by a very familiar voice.
It’s the boy who lives down the street from your grandparents.
The boy you spent hours playing with before your mother decided she wanted to run off with your real father and uproot you. You’ve only been living in Forks for a little while and if your mother knew you were on the reservation -or that you’d visited your grandparents, she’d probably be less than thrilled. All of this falls to the wayside in your mind as you freeze in place and gape at the man that the boy next door has grown into.
He stands at least 6’5 and he’s so muscular. Strong facial features. He’d always been cute before but now… Oh god, now he’s handsome enough that you’re literally too stunned to speak or form a coherent thought. You’re frozen in place staring and no matter what you try to do to stop it, you just… can’t.
Embry’s standing in front of you now. You can’t make out what he’s saying at first due to your own rapidly beating heart, but then he’s picked you up off your feet and he’s squeezing you in a bear hug so tight you can barely breathe as he spins you around a little and you’re hugging him back, laughing.
“Embry? Holy shit, you’re a giant.”
He chuckles at your comment. You gaze at him in concern because now that the shock -and awe, of seeing him again has worn off, you realize how hot he was and you’re worried. You raise your hand before you can stop yourself from doing it and you place the back of it against his forehead. “You’re burning up!”
“Guys are naturally hotter than girls. I’m fine.” only it comes out way too fast and he wants to kick himself. He should’ve already grown out of his awkward phase by now and the fact that he obviously hasn’t is irritating for him. You lick your lips as you stare up at him, still worried.
“I’m fine.” he reassures you again.
“Okay.” you mumble, your voice coming out soft. Dazed.
You’re staring at him and you can’t stop. Embry’s gaze breaks away from you and settles on your cart.
“Wow.” he chuckles and the sound is so deep and husky that you suck in a breath before you realize you’re doing it. You reluctantly step away from him just a little and you glance back at your cart filled with boxes of eggs that you’ve just purchased.
When he does it, it surprises him. He never realized that imprinting came with the nifty side effect of being able to gauge your moods by the sweetness of your scent and as soon as he picks up on the hints of arousal in addition to the fact that you’re a little upset and more than a little surprised to bump into him when you’ve been thinking about him nonstop lately, well.. He shuffles his feet just so that he doesn’t get hard and make things weird. He gazes at you for a few seconds and you’re staring right back.
One of you really should say something.
“Why do you have so many eggs?” he blurts it out and immediately wants to kick himself because it’s not his business and there’s so many other things he could’ve said.
At first you don’t answer, you’ve turned away long enough to unlock and open your trunk so that you can load the eggs into it with the toilet paper you’ve already gotten. As soon as Embry catches sight of all the toilet paper, he’s more than a little curious. “Why do you have so much toilet paper and eggs - nevermind.. I don’t wanna know, do I?”
You giggle to yourself because for some reason, when you open your mouth you’re hit with a fit of giggles instead of actual words and you’re dying for a portal to another dimension to open and swallow you, but since this isn’t going to happen, you’re stuck in the situation. You step closer to him before you can stop yourself and you’re toying with the collar on his jacket as you stare up at him. “You probably don’t.” you finally manage words.
Embry picks right up on the shift in your mood and he gazes at you in concern. “Are you okay?” he questions, “What’s going on?”
You sigh and laugh. “I was an idiot to think a college guy liked me? I mean, seriously.. What the hell was I thinking, Embry?” you shake your head at yourself and he tenses just slightly. “What happened?”
“Well, I was supposed to be dating Mike.. But apparently, the new has worn off and Mike wants to see other people… And by other people, I mean he wants to see the new girl in town.”
Embry grumbles to himself and shakes his head. “What’s that have to do with the toilet paper and the eggs, though?” he asks as he stares down at you. All he can do is stare. You were always pretty but now.. Now you’re beautiful. And his little crush from back then is so much more than a little crush now. And hearing you admit that you were hurt by Mike Newton of all people, well.. It’s taking everything in him not to find Mike and punch the guy. Hurt Mike like Mike’s hurt you.
You laugh softly. “Well, while he’s at the Homecoming game with his new toy, I’m going to toilet paper and egg his house. And that stupid Jeep.” you say it in a sheepish little tone and Embry snickers quietly. “Are you sure that’s a good idea? I don’t think it’s a good idea.”
He just doesn’t want you to get in trouble.
“I think it’s a great idea.” you insist. “It’s happening. Mike’s had this coming for a while. I’m not the only girl he’s ghosted.” you mumble, drowning in the depths of Embry’s dark brown eyes as you stare up at him. Embry’s finger tucks beneath your chin when you go to drop your gaze and he’s making you look up at him. “Mike’s an idiot.”
“I know this.” you laugh softly. “If it helps, I’m not just toilet papering and egging his house.”
“Okay, yeah. This really doesn’t sound like a good idea.”
“What else is there to do in Forks, hm?” you question, shrugging as you give him this cute little troublemaker smirk. Embry chuckles and before he can stop himself, he’s stepped even closer.
You suck in a breath when you feel his hand brush up against your hip. Your eyes dart down and he starts to remove his hand but you give him this little pout that makes him change his mind and leave his hand where it is.
“Okay, alright. But I’m coming with you.” -and as soon as he says it, he’s not entirely sure whether it’s just to make sure you’re safe or if maybe there’s not some small part of him that just wants to do something to get back at Newton for the way Newton’s hurt you.
Both reasons fit, so he reasons that it’s got a little to do with both.
You raise a brow and blow at some hair that’s fallen into your eyes as you stare up at him for a few seconds and find yourself stepping even closer, closing the sliver of space left between your bodies. “Oh you are, hm?” you ask, a playful and teasing tone to your voice that has your cheeks on fire.
“I am.” Embry asserts, stepping even closer. Swallowing down a lump in his throat when your body brushes against his just lightly.
“We should get going then. The Homecoming game starts soon and I want to make an appearance, just so nobody realizes I’m one of the people behind it..” you laugh softly as you say it and Embry chuckles, nodding his head.
“Are you asking me to go to the Forks High Homecoming game with you? Because I totally will.”
“Maybe I am.” you bite your lip as you find yourself staring back up at him.
The stands are jam packed when the two of you enter through the chain link fence. The smell of burgers from the concession stand fill the air and right now, despite not having stuck around for the food at the bonfire he left to find you earlier, Embry’s not even a little worried about his own hunger.
At least not in the food sense.
Mike spots you walk in with a guy who looks familiar and despite himself, he can’t help but stare as the two of you walk past. He calls out to you and you roll your eyes.
“Who’s he?”
You laugh. The fact that he’s even asking the question is annoying for you. He’s the one who gave you this long speech about needing space. He’s the one who was all over some girl at the movie theater not even a day later.
“What’s the matter, Mike?” you question as you gaze at the blond male and lean against Embry’s side. Embry, you can’t help but notice, has slipped a muscular arm around your waist and he’s staring at Mike with a scowl on his face.
“I thought we had a thing? Who’s he?”
“You know who I am, Newton.” Embry speaks up. His tone is calm. It’s almost too calm. But unlike his pack mates, he’s had endless time to practice self control, so despite everything in him telling him to just deck the guy and end it there, he’s reigning himself in.
But God does he want to deck Mike.
Mike hurt you, even though you’re pretending he didn’t. Embry can tell.
Mike gazes at Embry with a blank look and then he chuckles. “Wait, you’re that guy… Jacob’s friend, right?”
“Mhm.” Embry answers, not bothering to return the smile. He smirks instead. “And I’m kind of here with her tonight, so… We’re going to find our seats now, Newton.” Embry replies, gazing down at you and smiling. “Where do you wanna sit?”
“Well, I did tell Christine and Marley I’d sit at the top.. That’s okay, right?”
Embry chuckles. “So we’ll sit at the top. But we better go, tiny. Looks like the top is filling up.” he nods to the top section of the home side bleachers. You’re still trying to process because when he called you tiny in that low and husky tone, it definitely did things to you. You finally manage to answer. “Y-yeah. We should get up there.” you smile up at him and for the second time in an hour, you can feel your body burning up as he stares down at you and smiles.
His smile is the most beautiful thing you’ve seen in a really, really long time and as soon as the thought crosses your mind, you’re flustered even more by it.
As the two of you make your way up into the stands, Embry’s hand settles on your lower back and he stays close behind you.
“Did you get the stuff?”
“I got it. I had to go to the res to see my grandma and get the eggs.”
Christine giggles, nodding to Embry. “And pick up a hunk?”
“Chris, oh my god!” you’re giggling, but you nod. “This is Embry Call. He’s one of my best friends. I mean, he was.”
“I still am.” Embry chuckles, settling into the bleacher above the one you’re sitting on. You’re leaned back against them, one of his legs on either side of you and neither of you are thinking anything at all of this. When you rest your arms on his legs, he gasps before he can stop himself and you can feel his thighs tense just slightly. You pout a little and start to sit up but he leans forward and down, his mouth next to your ear and the warmth of his breath tickling it. “It’s fine.” he mumbles, that husky tone making you almost whimper before you can stop yourself.
Embry hears your quiet little whimper and he bites his lip, taking a shaky breath or two. On the one hand, he can see exactly why Sam always kept the imprinter away from their imprintee for a while back then, on the other, he knows he’d never have been able to adhere to the guidelines, not when you’re the girl his inner wolf chose.
About halfway into the second quarter, Christine nudges you. “If we’re going, we better go.”
“Yeah.” you answer.
Embry chuckles and he stands, reaching out to grab hold of your hand. He pulls you up like you don’t weigh anything and you gulp because you’re molded against him as he’s done so. “You smell yummy.” you blurt it out and you want to disappear as soon as you realize that you weren’t just thinking it in your head, but you said it out loud.
“So do you.” Embry chuckles as he says it, staring at you for a good six seconds before he points out that your two best friends have gone down already and they’re calling your name from the ground.
“Right. I uh.. I guess we should get down there.” you mutter, dazed.
“We should. If you really want to do this.” Embry studies you intently. You nod. “Oh, it’s happening. He did this to Christine and Marley too.”
“He’s a douchebag.” Embry mutters as he reaches down and pulls the zip on your jacket up when he catches sight of you shivering in the cold night air. You laugh softly.
“Let me see that.” Embry’s behind you, wrapping his arms around your body as he positions the roll of toilet paper in your hands. “Toss it up now.” he instructs, his lips grazing the shell of your ear. You pitch the roll of TP upward and it wraps around a massive tree branch. You grab it when it hits the grass and you start to run, twisting it around the trunk, laughing as you do so. Embry takes an egg and tosses it at the tree and he laughs.
The two of you are racing down the Newton’s front lawn just as Mike’s father opens the door and the second you’re inside your car and speeding away, Embry reaches out to lower the volume on your radio. “Are you hungry?”
“I could eat.” you answer, glancing over at him.
He chuckles. “We can stop by the diner. I mean, if you want to.”
“Are you asking me to get a burger with you, Embry? Because I totally will.” you smile at him. He chuckles again and nods. “I am.”
You pull into the spot next to Marley’s Camaro and put the car in park. But neither one of you really make an effort to get out right away.
“I really miss you, Embry.”
Embry’s entire face lights up when you say it. “I missed you too. What happened?”
“The sperm donor came crawling back. My mom believed his lies and packed me up to move to some base out in Texas? Then they broke up again and my mom decided she wanted to come home, but like.. She didn’t think my grandma and grandpa would let her live with them, so we had to get a place in Forks.”
Embry cringes. “That sucks.”
“It does. But at least I’m back now, right?” you glance up at him, hopeful look in your eyes. “We can be friends again.”
,, We can be whatever you want, tiny. I just want you.” the thought comes but wisely, he keeps it to himself instead of just blurting it out. It’s hard not to, but Embry manages. He nods to the flickering neon in the diner window. “We should, uh.. Get in there, huh?”
You grin and nod. “We should. I think Marley and Christine are in our usual booth? We come by here at least twice a week after school.” you’re babbling as the two of you make your way up to the door leading into the diner. Embry presses against you lightly from behind to open the door for you and you glance up at him, swallowing hard. Smiling.
You step in the door and Embry bumps into you from behind when you stop to scan the crowded diner for any sign of Christine and Marley. You scowl and roll your eyes when you see Mike and his new flavor of the week sitting in a window booth, laughing and talking. “Hope she knows what she’s in for when he gets bored.” you muse to yourself.
You spot Christine and Marley in your usual booth towards the back and you turn to face Embry, smiling up at him. Lightly gripping the front of his jacket as you lean against him a little because no matter how hard you’ve tried the whole night, you just can’t stop touching him. Getting closer.
Are you getting a crush on your best friend?
“Let’s go sit down, huh?” you mumble and he grins, nodding. You turn away and link your fingers through his larger ones, practically dragging him towards the back of the diner to the booth your two best friends are sitting in.
You slip into the bench opposite the one they’re sitting on and Embry sits down beside you. You move just a little closer to him and reach for a menu as Marley tells you about the Homecoming Dance being a total bust.
“It’s Forks High. Did you really expect anything above lame, though? That’s why I said I didn’t wanna go, to be honest.” you scan the menu as you say it, glancing up at Marley as you shrug. Embry chuckles, reading the menu as soon as you’ve put it where you can both see it. You glance up at him. “Oh god, you’ve gotta try their milkshake.. They have this cheesecake one, it’s amazing.”
He chuckles. “It is, huh?”
“It is. I’ll let you try some of mine.” you flash him this cute little smile when you say it and if he thought he was down bad before, it’s so much worse now.
You shift on the bench beside him so that you’re pressed closer to the side of his body and he takes a deep breath.
It’s finally happened.
The one thing he almost gave up on has happened. Now he just has to get used to the overwhelming barrage of feelings that come with finding his imprint and adjust to the way he’s so aware of you.
But he doesn’t mind at all.
“I think I’m gonna get the cocoa instead.” you look up, cheeks burning hot when you lock eyes with Embry. He chuckles and nods, smiling at you. “Yeah, I was thinking about getting that too.” he mutters, words trailing off.
The waitress comes and you both laugh when you order almost the exact same thing to a T. Across the table, Marley and Christine share a look and then a few seconds later, Christine announces that she’s going for a ride and Marley shoots up out of her spot on their bench, the two girls making a hasty retreat.
This leaves Embry alone with you all over again.
“Looks like it’s just you and me.” you mumble quietly. Embry mumbles the same thing at the same time and you both share a laugh.
“I’m glad you’re back.” Embry blurts it out after a few seconds of the two of you staring quietly at each other. You smile and nod in agreement and when you answer him, “I’m glad we moved back too. I just wish my mom would’ve swallowed her pride and moved back in with my grandparents.” you’re drowning in the depths of his dark brown eyes again and you can’t pull yourself out. You can feel your tummy fluttering but only just a little. You wonder if Embry is feeling the same tension in the air that you are but you don’t dare ask him.
He probably means that he missed having you around as a friend because the two of you were inseparable before your mom uprooted you and made you leave town with her.
The clink of plates as they’re sat on the table has both of you jumping and then laughing softly about it and the two of you reach for your cocoa at the same time, taking a sip.
“You’ve uh… There’s chocolate on your face.” Embry points out when the silence is just too much for him and he has to say something or go crazy. He’s leaning in to drag his thumb over the corner of your mouth and you want to disappear into the floor when his thumb makes contact with your lips and the only thing you can do is whimper quietly.
He hears you -you know he has, there’s just something about the way he looks at you when the sound comes out of your mouth, and he chuckles quietly. He could tease you about it a little, but instead, he chooses to pretend he didn’t hear the sound because the tension in the air is already thick enough to cut with a knife.
“Did you get it?” you ask after a second or two when it’s too quiet and you just have to say something. He nods and answers quietly, “Yeah. I got it. I forgot how messy an eater you were.”
“Oh haha.” you pretend to pout. “So.” you go quiet, taking a few fries into your hand and raking them through ketchup, “How have you been?”
“Good. Everything is the same, boring as ever. What about you? Where did you wind up moving again?” he asks, gazing at you as he takes a huge bite of the massive burger he ordered. You laugh and shrug. “Texas and I hated it, oh my god.” you dig into your fries and laugh, shaking your head. “I told my mom not to leave town with the jerk. I mean, you know how he is, Embry, he’s always been in and out.”
“Yeah. You’re.. You’re okay, right?” he asks as he gazes at you in concern.
You shrug. “I got used to him disappointing me when we were little? So it doesn’t bother me. My mom though, it crushed her.”
Embry cringes and sucks his teeth. “Yikes.”
“Yeah.” you mumble, smiling again a few seconds later, “I’m just glad to be back. I… I’m gonna see you more, alright? I want us to be friends again because I missed you so much.”
“I missed you too.” Embry answers and it’s the truth.
Now the reason the past two years were hell for him make perfect sense. He must have been on the verge of imprinting on you when you moved away. The sense of loss he felt when you were gone makes sense. He feels happier than he’s felt in a long time.
More than anything, the empty feeling he’s had for a while now, the one he couldn’t quite put his finger on, that’s starting to go away.
“I.. I can move to the other bench. You’re not crowded, right?” he asks. You pout up at him and shake your head no. “No, c’mon.. Stay right here.”
He laughs. “Okay, alright.”

You turned from your locker to face the voice that called you. It was Seth Clearwater, one of your ex-friends. They hung out with Sam Uley once and all of a sudden Embry, Quil, and Seth were too good for you. You rolled your eyes as you looked Seth up and down.
“What?”
“Your bag’s open. Dropped this.”
Seth handed you your binder. You quickly snatched it back. Your parents were causing a big fuss so you left the house in a big hoodie and jeans that was deemed “more acceptable” by them rather than fighting. The hoodie helped a bit but you still felt uncomfortable without the binder on and planned to change into it right after homeroom attendance was counted.
“Thanks,” you muttered.
Seth was about to say something else when Jacob and Embry called him over. They walked away from you without a second thought. You ate lunch alone. The only other friend you had aside from Seth, Embry, and Quil was a girl named Carla but her family moved off the res about two months before the guys ditched you.
Carla tried to be there for you but she had her own problems at her new school in New York. You talked on the weekends but during the school week you were on your own. The rest of the school day went by like normal, nothing spectacular or interesting. Just how you like it. You enjoyed the slow pace of a normal life. When you got home, dinner was being made by your dad.
“I’m home.”
“Kiddo. How was school?”
“Alright.” You shrugged your backpack off your shoulders and took out your homework to do at the dining room table.
“Hey, (Y/F/I). Your Aunt and Uncle are coming up for dinner from Oregon. Can we not do the whole ‘you’ thing today.”
Your dad vaguely gestured to your entire body. The only thing your parents obliged you on was not calling you by your birth name, although they would only use the first initial of your new name, refusing to completely give in.
“What?”
“This whole boy thing. Just put on a dress please, you can borrow your mother’s. You and her are the same size right?”
“Okay one, me and mom haven’t been the same size in like a year. Two it’s not a boy thing, I am a boy.”
“Fine you say you’re a boy.” Your mom came into the kitchen. “Don’t boys wear dresses? You know in some cultures, why don’t you just do that for the night?”
“Mom, Dad. I feel very uncomfortable in anything feminine or suggests a more female presenting persona given certain things I am still going through. So no, this boy will not be wearing a dress. I already keep my hair long since everyone on the res does, is that not good enough?”
“Okay. We’ve been playing nice and we’re going nowhere. You’re done! You were born a girl. The certificate we filled out at the hospital says girl and you will always be a girl. This is over! You will be presentable for your aunt and uncle and stop this boy shit.”
You dodged the plate your mother threw. With all the arguments and crap you’d put up with, nothing physical ever happened. You looked at the plate behind your chair. This was the final straw. You left the house not bothering to look back. The tears were streaming down your face as you aimlessly walked around.
It started to rain on you and even your hoodie was soaked at this point. You didn’t notice you had stumbled upon the main road until a car honked you down. You barely had time to jump back and avoid getting hit. You tripped over your own feet and rolled a little bit down the hill, scraping your hands and tearing a hole in your jeans. You were never good with blood and seeing your bloody hands and knees made you faint on sight.
You woke up to the smell of pasta sauce. When you opened your eyes, you were out of your soaking clothes and into something way too big but you liked it. You rubbed the tiredness out of your eyes only to realize when you felt the fabric on your face that your hands were bandaged too.
All of a sudden, your senses kicked into high alert and you shot up like a rocket. You bolted towards the door and only stopped when you heard immense laughter. You turned to see Sam Uley and his gang, including your old friends.
“You know,” Quil started. “You were so slow to wake up if you had really been kidnapped your kidneys would already be on the black market.”
“(Y/N). Sit, we’re having spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. By the way, this is Sam, Paul, Jared, and Emily. Hope you’re not weirded out with the clothes. They’re mine, you just seemed kind of cold. Figured it was cool, we’re all dudes.”
Seth guided you to the table. Leah hit him upside the head when he sat back down. “Two of us here are ladies, with the manners to show for it.”
Leah gestured to You were shocked at how everyone but you and Emily were already on their second plate of cookies.
“So how long are you staying?” Sam asked you rather abruptly. He continued when you looked at him questioningly. “The boys told us about what happened. Figured you wouldn’t go back. Emily and I have a spare bed.”
“Mom wouldn’t mind if you stayed with us either. Seth’s room is big enough for two people,” Leah offered.
“So you don’t talk to me for months and I’m supposed to act like this is all cool?”
“We’ll explain that later. Right now we should probably just focus on you.”
“Fine. But if I don’t get answers by tomorrow morning, I’m out of here.”
“Fair. Hey, (Y/N) do you still make those cookies?”
“Cookies?” Paul perked up.
Embry hyped up your skills. “Bro, he makes the best maple cinnamon cookies.”
“Maple cinnamon? You mind showing me?” Emily asked. “If your hands are alright.”
“Yeah. They’re fine. I wouldn’t mind making cookies for everyone.”
“We’re gonna need at least four batches.”
“Four batches? Jake what the hell? Four?”
“We’re growing boys.”
“You’re ravenous wolves is what you are… it wasn’t that funny.” You didn’t understand why they busted out in laughter when you said that.
Emily patted your shoulder as she led you to the kitchen. “You’ll get used to it. Apron?”
“It’s Seth’s shirt, I don’t care.”
“Really? (Y/N)?”
“Revenge for ditching me.”
Seth got quiet and you laughed. You were entertained by the antics of everyone in Sam’s house as you baked cookies. You could get used to this new life.

For Twilight, if the entire pack imprinted on Bella's twin brother, what do you think the dynamics would be with each of them? Do you think any of them would have a problem if he wanted to be in charge in bed?
Tumblr media
Oh man, the dynamic would be...interesting to say the least.
They'd ALL want the best for M/n and would love him no matter what.
Of course, there are certain wolves who would do better together than with others: such as Embry and Quil, or Paul and Jared.
Yes, there WOULD be arguments about 'I'm better' or 'No we should do this!' but M/n usually squashes that pretty quickly.
As for would they have a problem with that? No, not at all. It's M/n. They'd let him be in charge all the time if need be.

Requested by @mypridefulsoul27. I hope you like it. Thanks for the request.
Warning: hinting of suicide. Assault.
Bella decided she needed to visit Jacob Black of all days. Today she would meet someone from her past.
"Who's that guy"? Bella asked as the packed joked around like usual but this face was different.
"Embry boyfriend". Jacob chuckled when he saw Bellas jaw drop.
"Embry's gay? When did that happen"?
"They've been dating for awhile now. He's pretty great. The pack loves him".
"What's his name"?
"Y/N, he just moved back here after a couple years of traveling the world". Jacob explained.
"Really? How they meet"?
"That's werewolf business. Sorry". Jacob told Bella, who rolled her eyes. She kept looking at the strangers face. The guys eyes looked so familiar that she couldnt shake the feeling she knew him from somewhere.
"You wanna introduce us"? Bella stood up from the ground dusting her hands off on her jeans.
"Sure". Jacob got up and took Bella over to meet this mysterious guy only known as Embry boyfriend.
"Hey, Y/N. This is Bella. The girl, Embry warned you about". Jacob and the others laughed. Y/N, held into Embry's hand tightly.
"Hi". Bella came over and quietly waved.
"Hi". Y/N, gulped. "I'm gonna go get something to drink. I'll be right back". He quickly left. Embry looked confused along with everyone else sitting around the fire.
"I'm going to go check on him". Embry ran off.
"What'd I'd do"? Bella shrugged.
"You smell of blood suckers". Paul teased with a smirk.
"Shut it. Plus Y/Ns not one of us. He's normal". Sam piped in.
"Then what caused him to run off"? Bella wondered.
It was getting late and Bella had to get home, she said goodbye to everyone but Embry and Y/N. They never came back out of the house. Many of the guys had their own idea of why they never came back out.
The next day Bella decided to go back over to Jacob's and see if he wanted to do something. But when she got there she met Y/N at the front door. The guys had went off for a hunt.
"So how did you meet Embry"? Bella asked, as they both sat down on the steps of the porch.
"Um, I ran into him at the store. He was picking up muffin mix". Y/N, ran his hand through his hair.
"Oh, Jacob said it was werewolf business".
"No. Embry just says that to make it sound cool". The both of them chuckled and then it all got quiet.
"Is it weird that I feel like I know you? Like I've met you in a different life or something. Your eyes look just like my moms and my little sisters". Bella began.
"No that's not weird".
"It is though. I havent seen my sister in years. I lost count".
"Five years". Y/N whispered but Bella heard.
"What"? Bella quickly turned her head.
"It's been five years Bells".
"My sister use to call me that. Wait. It cant be". Bella covered her mouth.
"It's me but not me. I transitioned from female to male". Y/N, nervously chuckled, playing with his fingers.
"When"?
"Two years after I ran away".
"Why did you run"?
"You know why, Bella. I couldnt take it anymore. You were never around. School was like murder. It killed me every day to go. Kids, they didnt get me, so they made fun of me. So I ran away and got to be myself. Be me for a change". Tears rolled down Y/Ns face.
"We searched for you. It nearly killed mom and dad". Bella scoffed.
"I'm sorry but if I hadn't left, I would have died. Did you really want to bury your sister? Would it have been easier? Because it would have came to that if I didnt". By now Y/N was sobbing. He had all this pint up emotion and all these feelings coming out that he wanted to say for so long.
"Do the others know"?
"Embry and Sam know. That's all that needs too. Why you going to go tell them"?
"No. But you need to tell dad and mom".
"No. That part of me died a long time ago along with the people in it".
"Then why did you tell me"?
"Jacob told me that you kept asking questions. It was a matter of time before you found out. I know you. You wont stop until you get all the answers. You're like freaking Nancy Drew and Sherlock Holmes combined when it came to finding out answers". Y/N wiped away his tears.
"So what am I supposed to do? Just forget that you're my little sister and not tell mom and dad"?
Y/N sighed. "I'm not your little sister. Im nothing to you. If you tell them, they wont believe you. I'm dead and they've accepted that. Let it be. Let me be happy for once in your life". Y/N, could feel his temper start to flare.
"How do you know if you dont try"?
Y/N scoffed. "You dont think I've tried? I told mom and dad that I hated being a girl. I told them that people at school were bullying me. I came home ninety five percent of the time with a busted lip or a cracked rib because I was different. I dressed different. I acted differently than the other girls and boys. I had to get out because no one was going to help me or protect me. They didnt care. I was alone".
"You should've came to me".
"Why? You were never around. You couldn't stand me. I was the black sheep of the family and you were the pride and joy. That's what you wanted our whole life. Now you got it".
"But I want my sister". Bellas lip began to quiver.
"Damn it, Bella. I'm not your sister. I've never been, ever. That kid died a long time ago. I'm happy and better than ever. I love my life. I love who I am. I love Embry and I love the guys. They're family and the only one I need".
"So what is this? Goodbye"?
"Yeah. You can come see Jacob. But dont come see me. I dont want anything from you. I'm doing just fine on my own without you messing everything up. Which you probably will in the future. Just give it time. So um, have a good life and yeah. Goodbye". Y/N huffed and went back inside, locking the door. That part of his life was over and he didnt want anything to do with it no matter how hard it cried crocodile tears.

A Vampire Attacks Emily And Reader Shifts Killing The Vampire Saving Emily's Life. Sam Is Extremely Grateful, And Thanks Him. He Gains The Pack's Trust. •Requested by @rexburn12

Tumblr media
The pack decided to bring y/n back to Emily’s place for the time being, still trying to wrap their minds around what the hell just happened. Leah was still slightly distraught by the whole thing, while Seth was right next to y/n the whole way back asking him questions about his life and what not. Sam and Paul were slightly annoyed at Seth’s trusting nature at the moment, they barely even knew anything about the guy and he was already Seth’s new best friend. Y/n was willing to answer his questions, but he was more focused on getting to talk to the girl the others called Leah. “Hang on just a second kid” the new addition spoke towards Seth. He ran up ahead and slowed his pace when he reached Leah’s side. Leah took note of this but acted like she didn’t even notice he was next to her. She was scared of what was to come, she had previously thought that imprinting would break the connection between her and Sam and she would be content with her life. She was all of these things, but along with the good came the bad, she was scared of being rejected and abandoned again.
“Hey, how’s it going?” the male questioned Leah.
“I mean relatively okay considering what just happened.”
“Seth told me you imprinted on me, my people have legends of imprinting with wolf shifters, so I’ll save you the explanation.”
“Thanks I guess, you know we can’t control it right?”
“Yeah I know. By the way, where the hell is your leader taking me? They’re not gonna kill me right?”
“No of course not, we're not crazy and it’s against shifter law to kill an imprint so you’re safe. We’re taking you to Sam and Emily’s place, Emily is Sam’s imprint and my cousin.”
“Okay cool, so after your pack gets done interrogating me back at Sam’s place do you maybe want to go grab dinner with me sometime? Assuming there’s places to eat around wherever the hell in Washington we are.”
Leah chuckled slightly at his attempt to lighten up the tension filled mood, “Yeah that sounds nice.”
“Sweet”
Y/n noticed a medium sized shack style house come into view with an old green ford pickup truck parked in front. A young woman with a scar on her right cheek emerged from the entrance and greeted Sam with a hug, y/n assumed this was Emily. Sam whispered something in her ear that made her head snap towards the bear shifter with a look of curiosity on her face. The woman gave him a friendly smile but went back inside, the pack following behind. The smell of muffins filling their noses as they entered the cozy house. The pack all sat down and grabbed a muffin while Leah stood behind the kitchen counter next to Emily. Y/n stood there against the wall awkwardly waiting for someone to break the silence. He heard Leah whispering something about imprinting into Emily’s ear. He giggled internally noticing Leah’s excitement when talking about him. “I’m gonna go get that flower pot out from the back of Paul’s truck.” stated Emily already heading out the door. Sam turned his head toward her and hollered, “Okay, be careful.”
Just then Y/n caught the scent of something rotten near Emily, “Do you guys smell that?” he asked no one in particular. Sam suddenly became aware of exactly what that stench was. “BLOODSUCKER!” Sam shouted to alert everyone. Y/n was the closest one to the door so he ran outside and phased before even catching sight of anything. The pack repeated his actions not even seconds after. Emily stood at the rear end of Paul’s truck, flower pot in hand, frozen in fear, eyes locked in the same direction y/n was facing. The pack couldn’t see where it was, due to the windy weather the scent of it was all around them. Sam quickly caught y/n’s eye and leaped in the direction of the intruder. The creature jumped over Sam and towards Emily. Y/n was right next to the frightened imprint right when he was coming towards her, Y/n jumped in front of the vampire and grabbed him by the neck with his teeth. He clenched his jaw tighter and tighter until he heard what sounded like a figurine breaking from within his mouth. The pack had noticed that Emily had dove under Paul’s truck to avoid the dangers taking place not even 6 feet away from her. Sam and the pack quickly phased back and dressed themselves to make sure she was okay. Y/n ran behind a bush and followed the pack’s actions, finding clothes to change into before phasing back. When he came out Sam was holding Emily in his arms calming her down from the previous events. Leah rushed towards him with a worried look on her face. “Are you okay?” she questioned, while scanning his body for any signs of injury.
“Yeah I’m perfectly fine, how’s Emily?”
“She’s good, thanks to you.”
Leah wrapped her arms around his torso and laid her head on his chest, he reciprocated the affection by wrapping an arm around her waist and placing a hand on her head holding her there. Sam looked up from the hug he was giving Emily and gave him a nod while mouthing the words, “Thank you.” Y/n returned the nod and looked at the rest of the pack that had the same look on their faces showing a thankful expression towards him. He smiled to himself, holding Leah, knowing this was his life now.

Tempt My Trouble
Tumblr media
Request: Yes or No
Why you got it in for me?
Is it cause I bring you to your knees?
Throw water on electricity
Just to see if the sparkle'll make us feel
The way we used to feel
You sent Jacob a smirk, watching him roll his eyes. You and him were always competing. When you were younger, it was playful and nice but as you two grew, it became more tense.
"Brush your hair, at least." You said, walking past him as the wing messed with his long locks. You heard him huff and grumble. You glanced back at him, catching him looking already. You grinned when he flushed and looked away. You and Jake had liked eachother after Bella left but when she came back, his attention went to her. You didn't care until you shifted and imprinted.
You're my heart-taker
I'm your heart-breaker
And we're both fakers
Faking always trade it to each other's arms
We know where we are
We know where we are
You watched as Jake fixed his motorcycle, sleeves rolled up. His eyes flickered over to you. Unlike him, you didn't care if you were caught staring. Your brother, Embry, glanced over at you before huffing.
"What?" You asked. Embry shook his head.
"Nothing!" You walked over, standing beside your younger brother and resting your arm on his shoulder.
"I have a date, can you two hurry up?" You asked. It was a lie but you enjoyed seeing the flash of jealousy in Jake's dark eyes.
Unchain my ghoul
But don't you ever let me go
Jake watched as you laughed at something Embry said. Your back was to the bonfire, making it illuminate you from behind. You looked angelic. Jake stood, gently grabbing your arm.
"We need to talk."
"Okay? Can I finish my hotdo-" He rolled his eyes, dragging you away. You handed your hotdog over to your brother, letting Jake drag you a bit far from the bonfire. You could still see the fire and hear the chatting but it was distant.
"Wha-" Jake pushed you up against a tree, lips finding yours as he kissed you in a rush. It was clear he was inexperienced. Your fingers tangled into his locks and you pulled him back, taking things slow so he could learn.
Lights go out again
You stroke my pain
And tempt my trouble
Sick how we pretend
But we're not friends
And we're not lovers
We're just trouble
We're just trouble
So tempt my trouble
Jacob was still crushing on Bella. It annoyed and hurt you. You weren't afraid of lashing out and hurting Bella but Sam said it wasn't a good idea. You just had to stand it. Because of it, you stopped being playfully mean with Jake. You still insulted him and took jabs, not meaning to hurt him, but you stopped going out of your way to do it. You weren't friends nor were you two together.
I keep on messing with your head
You keep on messing up my bed
I feel like we're two stoners, two loners
Who keep on forgetting everything they've said
You wanted Jacob to shift. But he needed to be overcome by strong emotions. So, you messed with his head. You flirted with others, gave coy smiles, and made sure Jacob saw all of it. He got jealous, but never too jealous. Maybe because he knew he'd wake up in your bed once in a while. Despite how hard it was, you needed to distance yourself.
Unchain my ghoul
But don't you ever let me go
You successfully ignored Jacob for weeks, much to the dismay of your inner wolf. You saw him at a bonfire and had to take a seat so you wouldn't pounce on him. Jake didn't take his eyes off you once. Your wolf wanted to howk in joy but you just wanted the earth to open up and swallow you whole. Your heart raced as you nervously ate your burger. You stood up, going on a walk. You leaned against a tree, hearing a branch snap and Jacob's scent filled your senses.
"What's up?"
"Why are you ignoring me?"
"I don't wanna make your girlfriend jealous." You replied, arms crossin as you looked at him.
"Girlfriend? You mean Bella? My best friend?"
"The girl you're in love with? Yes." You nodded. Jacob was gonna respond but Embry called for both of you.
Lights go out again (lights go out again)
You stroke my pain
And tempt my trouble
Sick how we pretend (how we pretend)
But we're not friends
And we're not lovers
We're just trouble
We're just trouble
So tempt my trouble
You watched as Sam answered a call. His brows furrowed before his eyes went to you.
"Okay." You raised a brow, chewing slowly on your muffin. Sam hung up.
"Jacob shifted." You almost choked causing a giggle to escape Emily. You swallowed and stood, following Sam out the door. You shifted, running to the Black house where Jacob's wolf stood, confused and panicked.
"Jake." Sam got his attention. Jacob looked at him before his gaze settled on you. You could see and feel how he felt as he imprinted. Jacob rushed over to you, almost running you over as he tried to find comfort. You basked in the affection and attention.
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
So why you gotta tempt my trouble?
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
So why you gotta tempt my trouble?
Oh
You stretched out, hand bumping into a warm body. You grunted, cracking your eyes open and looking at Jake. He was still fast asleep but his body rolled closer to you, arms pulling you in. You almost purred. He seemed so relaxed. So at peace. Jacob stirred, opening his eyes and looking at you. He huffed, facing away. You chuckled. Sam had told him the reason you made Jake jealous and he had been grumpy ever since.
"Morning." You cooed, pressing a kiss to his shoulder. Your fingers ran over his cheeks, feeling them heat up a bit.
"Morning.." He mumbled. You chuckled, sittimg up. You were finally happy with your imprint.
Lights go out again (lights go out)
You stroke my pain
And tempt my trouble (temp my trouble)
Seek how we pretend (seek how we pretend)
But we're not friends
And we're not lovers (we're not lovers)
We're just trouble
We're just trouble
So tempt my trouble
We're just trouble
We're just trouble
So tempt my trouble
This sucked so much ass and I hate it 👌🏻

Imagine spending the day with Embry.
It was a beautiful Spring day when you found yourself sunbathing beside Embry in freshly blooming meadow.
The wild grass was bright, vivid, and soft to the touch, swaying gently in the warm afternoon breeze.
Pops of pink, yellow, and white were sprinkled throughout the sea of green, complimenting the pastel blue sky stippled with fluffy white clouds.
Embry snuggled further into the crook of your neck, sighing contently.
“Now this,” He murmured wrapping his arms around your waist, “Is my kind of day.”
You chuckled in agreement, tracing patterns on his bare back, and making small trails in his hair, easily feeling his smile against your collarbone.
You could get used to this.

Love Song for a Vampire Pt.1
Tumblr media
Pairing(s): Edward Cullen x Wolf!Reader, Edward Cullen x Bella Swan, Jacob Black x Bella Swan, Embry Call x Wolf! Reader
Warnings: very angsty, imprintee rejection, later mention of suicide
Words: 1673
Summary: It couldn't be possible. There just had to be some mistake. A werewolf couldn't possibly imprint on a vampire. . . right?
Part 1  Part 2  Part 3  Part 4  Part 5  Part 6  Part 7 Part 8  Part 9  Part 10  Part 11  Part 12  Part 13  Part 14  Part 15  Part 16  Part 17  Part 18  Part 19  Part 20  Part 21  Part 22  Part 23   Part 24  Part 25  Part 26  Part 27  Part 28 Part 29  Part 30  Part 31  Part 32  Part 33  Part 34  Part 35  Part 36  Part 37  Part 38  Part 39  Part 40 (finale)
The world seemed to grow so much brighter; colors that you had never even seen before flashed before your very eyes. Below your feet the ground shifted under you. Everything was so much different, you swore the air even tasted sweeter.
All because you met Edward Cullen.
You didn’t really know what it felt like to imprint on someone but from what Sam told you, it felt just like that. Life became sweeter.
That was for at least ten seconds before you actually realized who you had just imprinted on. A vampire. Jacob’s rival. Bella’s boyfriend.
Edward read your mind as you knew he would from Jacob, as his honey hued eyes grew large; pale face even more still.
“(y/n), you okay?” Jacob asks you as he had noticed you had gone deathly quiet. Concern really grabs at him when he observes how pale you had really become. He hadn’t wanted to take you with him to Forks. Jacob thought it was too soon to have you interact with actual vampires. You were still a young werewolf, prone to emotional outbursts and fits of rage. He feared that instinct would take over you if you smelled a vampire nearby. Bet he would have never anticipated you imprinting on one. You didn’t even think it was possible. For centuries vampires and werewolves have been at each other’s throats. Surely it would be down right impossible then for one to be your soul mate.
Mouth uncomfortably dry you look back at Jacob’s motorcycle then up to his face.. “You were right. I wasn’t ready. Can we go back?”
Jacob looked like he wanted to stay, stay and confront Edward about the vampires that had trespassed into La Push. Wanted to stay near Bella for a few moments longer. The fearful expression on your face was enough to make him give his goodbyes and head toward his bike.
Glancing over your shoulder you see that Edward is still staring at you, even when Bella starts tugging on his arm to leave.
You couldn’t look at him anymore, afraid that your heart would leap out of your chest and run to Edward.
This should have been the best day of your life. It was something all wolves wanted to find, their mate. Many in your pack still hadn’t imprinted. How could you be happy about it though? There were so many problems, not just him being a vampire.
You lamented in your room after Jacob dropped you off.
Was it because you were an anomaly? Normal werewolf males wouldn’t imprint on vampires. Females were incredibly rare though, You and Leah were basically freaks of nature. Maybe that was why, you were already a freak why not be even more weird and imprint on a vampire.
A stab of pain penetrates your body knowing Edward was already in a relationship with the mortal girl Bella Swan. The worst possible pain you had ever felt. You felt your skin tremble, the wolf in you begging to be let out and release it’s anger. The animal in you wanted to rip her apart. To sink your teeth into her lovely pale skin and tear her from limb to limb. You fought the tremors by rolling around helplessly in your bed. You tried to keep your rational thoughts together, to make them stronger than your wolf ones. Reminding yourself that they had met before you ever laid eyes on Edward. That you had never even spoken to him. It wasn’t right for you to be territorial over him. Your wolf wouldn’t allow it though. You had imprinted and that was that. There was no thinking rationally.
When you first found out you were a werewolf you had been excited. How cool was it that you could turn into a big ass wolf? The reality of it wasn’t as cool you had soon learned when your hormones got worse resulting in you bursting into a wolf when you felt the slightest bit of anger. Your poor parents didn’t know what to do.
Granted things have gotten a lot better. This though? Definitely a deal breaker. You couldn’t even choose who you ended up with. The whole wolf thing screwed you over into making you imprint on someone you never had a chance with.
There was no one you could talk to about this. The pack would find out sooner or later because of another downside of being a wolf. Pack telepathy.
What would they think of you? Surely they would treat you like a pariah. Maybe even kick you out? No, they wouldn’t do that. It wasn’t your fault. Imprinting was complete randomness. Sam knew that better than anyone. He had been dating Leah when he imprinted on her cousin Emily.
You check the clock that was on your nightstand to see what time it was. It was almost time for you to go on your watch shift. Groaning you roll out of bed and on to your feet. You wished there were more girl wolves and not just Leah. She was a major pain in the ass and a total buzzkill. You tried to excuse it as Leah having to be around her ex constantly. That excuse could only go so far though.
From your bed you move to your wooden wardrobe that was covered in little cartoon stickers from when you were little to switch your clothing to a simple tank top and shorts. You tell your parents you’ll be home later that night and head out the door.
On the outskirts of the trees you stretch your limbs before running head first into the thicket. You weren’t the athletic type before, but now there was nothing you loved more than running. You finally had the strength and energy to find running enjoyable. Even your grade in PE was improving. You had never felt so free before, not in your entire life.
You made your way through the trees all the way to Sam’s house where everyone met up. To your pack, to your new family. You hoped you’d be able to keep your imprinting a secret. At least for a little while longer.
So far so good. It was a difficult thing to keep secret for so long. You had to keep your mind a complete blank which was hard when Jared was constantly teasing you and giving you a hard time. After a while you decided to travel further away from the pack to cover more ground and break out of your wolf form to take a breather, think in your own head for a bit. Over time you learned to be comfortable in your naked form. Not the easiest feat when there were a bunch of naked guys. Naked guys with perfect abs and muscles and you were still just a flustered teenager.
Feeling the dirt on your bare human feet was always so refreshing.
You walk along a fallen log, keeping your arms out to ensure your balance you keep your ears open for any abnormal noises. It was night, of course there would be the sounds of night time animals waking up from their slumber.
The cool air kissed your naturally feverish skin as you waltzed around what had become your new home. So many hours spent roaming the forest, hearing the birds sing and the bugs call out to each other. With the moon absent from the sky you relied on your heightened eyesight.
You smelled him before anything else. Many of the pack that had already encountered vampires complained of the way they smelled. That their scent was so sickly sweet that it was nauseating. You didn’t know how they were supposed to smell normally, but Edward’s scent was absolutely wonderful. You could literally taste him. Sweetness like honeydew with the after taste the bit at your tongue like an orange.
Before you were even aware of it you were sprinting in the direction of his scent. Right to the border of the pack’s territory. You hoped no one else had caught his scent yet. Heart betraying you, you couldn’t help feel giddy about seeing him.
Hell, you had never spoken to him before today.
You part from the protection of the trees and out into a clearing where Edward stood waiting. He could probably hear the frantic beating of your heart and the happy screaming of your mind.
He’s at a loss of words, perhaps due to the whole situation or maybe from your naked form.
“Both.” Edward answers your thoughts.
You blush furiously, feeling your body heat up even more. “I’m sorry about all this. I really don’t have a choice when it comes to this imprinting crap.”
Shaking his head, Edward takes a step forward. “You don’t have to apologize. I understand. Well, to a certain degree. More than anything I’m surprised. That doesn’t happen to me too often.”
“You and me both.” Unable to control your snort, you internally groan a thow unladylike it was.
It didn’t seem to bother Edward though as he grinned. Slowly it died as he shuffles his feet. “I’m sorry. This whole thing must be incredibly difficult for you. Not being able to choose who you end up with. Imprinting on someone that’s already in a relationship. . .”
Fuck.
“It’s unfortunate for you, but I love Bella. And. . . I don’t see that changing anytime soon.”
All the air was knocked out of your body. Fuck that hurt.
“I. . . I know. . .” You swallow hard. On the verge of tears you take a deep breath. It was so hard to fight down the devastation that was making you crumble.
Flinching at the immense pain he had caused you, Edward apologizes again but it sounds more like white noise to you. Holding yourself you involuntarily back away. You didn’t want his pity. He clenches his hand and looks away.
You felt sick.
Fate was utterly unkind.
You release a howl of pain, your human form contorting back into a wolf.
Everyone could hear you. Everyone knew.

The new guy
Part 1
My writing is a bit rough in this I'm sorry, but ill try get Part 2 up within the next week hopefully <3
Warnings: Swearing
Pairing: Paul x male reader
Requests:
-Imagine Paul Lahote and Embry Call both secretly crushing hardcore on the same guy, which probably strains their close friendship somewhat  -Imagine being a new guy in town who Paul imprints on, which shocks him because he's never been attracted to guys before
--I’ve set this in a school which i realise doesn't go with canon as they left school after they phased but lets pretend thats not the case lol thanks
You see the high school getting closer as you walk along the sidewalk, bag slung over your shoulder and earphones filling your head with music to try block out nervous thoughts. However, as you got closer you couldn’t help but think how glad you will be when the day is over, first days at new schools are always the worst. Especially the school you’re starting at isn’t the biggest so it’s likely all that most of the students know each other, making you stand out even more.  You sigh as you walk through the high school grounds, you can feel a few people look at you but you keep your eyes focused on the main entrance in front of you.
A chatty and kind member of staff at the front office gave you your books, class times, and a speech, about how welcoming the school, so detailed that you are now fifteen minutes to your first class. “Do you want me to show you to your classroom?” she elder lady asked smiling at you, “I don’t mind finding it myself, but thank you.” you smiled back at her before turning towards the door into the corridor “Have a nice day” you turned to the staff member that helped you “you too!” she replied as you closed the door behind you. You were already late so you figured a few more minutes wouldn’t hurt whilst you found your way around the school. You realised you didn't even know where you were meant to be going, you looked at the sheet in your hand which showed you had math ‘great’ you sighed under your breathe whilst you walked down the corridor looking for the class number.
It only took your 5 minutes to find the class. You knocked on the closed door and waited for the teacher on the other side to open it, you saw through the small window the man who would be teaching you math and he didn’t look too pleased when he heard the knocking. You ran your hand through your hair and rested it on your neck as you waited, when the door opened your slipped your hand down and held it out to shake your new teachers hand. The man’s expression softened as he saw your face, he must’ve realised you were the new guy. The teacher looked down and saw your hand extended, he gave you a warm smile and shook your hand, seems like your manners may have saved you a lecture about being late. “You must be y/n?” the teacher asked, you nodded your head. “Nice to meet you, I’m Mr. Andreou.” he said before turning to face the class “Everyone this is y/n” your eyes wandered over the bored faces sat in the room. Your gaze fell on a guy who sat at the back of the room, he was slouched in his chair, watching you with a vacant expression. Not that you were expecting a welcoming party, but this guy looked at you as if he were un-impressed or somehow even pissed off. “Y/n there’s empty desk in the middle over there, feel free to sit down.” you broke eye contact with the guy at the back and looked at Mr. Andreou whose hand gestured for you to sit at the empty desk. You pulled your bag off your shoulder as you walked to the desk, dropping it next the chair. As you turned to sit down you briefly looked back over to the guy at the back, who was still watching you. Great, you thought to yourself, he’s probably pissed because I’m the new guy and he’ll give me the whole warning about staying away from the chicks; because for some reason new guys are magnets for girls. This guy will be glad to know that you weren’t even interested in girls that way.
The teacher spoke about Pythagorus theorem for the time that was left of the lesson. However, you didn’t concentrate fully as you focused on working out where you needed to get for your next lesson, Physical education. Plus you had missed the majority of this lesson anyway so it didn’t matter if your attention wasn't fully on task.
The harsh bell signifying the end of period rang out, causing the class to collectively feel relieved from the stress of Math. Mr Andreou sighed in frustration, “...it seems I’ll have to cut off my lecture about pythagorus, but we’ll continue it in next lesson.” A guy sitting somewhere behind you cheered sarcastically and everyone began collecting their bags and leaving the classroom for next lesson. You stood up from your chair and grabbed your bag, placing it on your desk whilst you packed all your stationary in. You felt a tap on your shoulder “Hey, have you got Phys ed next?” a voice asked from behind you, the same voice that cheered a few seconds earlier. “Yeah” you turned to face the guy behind you “Cool that means you’re in our class then, wanna walk with us so you’re not late this time?” he grinned, gesturing to two boys talking next to him. “Sure, thanks” you smiled back. You swung your bag over your shoulder and began walking out the class with the boys you just met. “I’m jared by the way” he introduced himself whilst you walked next to each other down the corridor “this is Paul and Embry” he turned to refer at the two guys walking behind you “hey” you turned to smile at them both, Paul was the guy who gave you the strange look when you came into class. “I’m y/n” you said turning back to face in front. “Do you have any sports kit with you?” Jared asked walking round a corner into the next corridor, “Not yet” you replied following him round the corner and down the corridor which led to a doorway outside. “I’ve got some spare shorts” Embry said from behind you “and I’ve got a spare top” Jared added. “Are you guys sure? Thanks” you turned to smile at them as you all walked on a path between the main school building and the sports field. “Sure, no problem. Saves you having to wear lost and found kit that hasn't been washed in years” Embry said, wrinkling his nose at the thought of the smelly clothes. You looked down at your feet, which were tied inside converse sneakers “Do you reckon i will get away with wearing these?” you turned to ask them, pointing down at your shoes. “Yeah, normally the coach is an asshole about uniform, but you’re the new kid he won’t be strict with you yet.” Paul said bluntly, briefly meeting your eyes before something on the field caught his attention. “The changing rooms are over here” Embry said leaning on your shoulder and pointing to the small building in front to your right.
You placed your bag down on the bench in front of you in the changing rooms. “Here” Jared called out over the loud chatter filling the room, and a top with the school logo flew into your chest. “Thanks” you caught the tshirt and smiled at him. “So why did you move here?” Paul asked whilst you took your hoodie off “I just moved here from a different city” you said, your voice slightly muffled by fabric as you pulled your top off over your head and put in your bag. You picked up the spare top Jared gave you and turned it the right way round. You looked up at Paul, who was changing at the bench opposite you, catching his gaze wander up your torso before briefly meeting your eyes and quickly looking away. You watched Paul as turned to face his gym bag with a frown and his hand running through his hair irritably. You didn't get why your presence seems to piss him off so much. “How long have you been in town?” he asked clearing his throat, his eyes still staying on his bag whilst you pulled your top on. “I,uh, got here this weekend” you said pushing your arms through the sleeves and pulling them hem of the top down. “Oh so only like 2 or 3 days then? Have you seen much yet?” Jared asked turning to face you “Oh! I’ll find the shorts for you” he suddenly remembered and began digging around in his bag. “Not really, obviously there’s the national park and I heard there’s a beach with decent waves” you replied, placing your foot up on the bench and untying your laces. “Yeah La Push. We have parties and bonfires there, and we surf when we can” Embry said pulling shorts out his bag and throwing them to you “Next time we go you’ll have to come with us” “Sure, thanks” you said catching them and placing them on the bench in front of you so you could pull your shoes off. “I’m gonna go warm up.” Paul said to no-one in particular, barely putting his top on properly before rushing out of the changing rooms. You watched Paul’s abrupt exit and turned back to see Jared and Embry carrying on un-phased by Paul. “Is he normally this moody?” You asked them as you sat down and pulled your jeans off, swapping them for the shorts you borrowed from Jared. “Paul is prone to mood swings pretty often, they're un-predictable but you get used to it.” Even if Paul is in bad moods often, you can’t help but think you have something to do with his today. “Do you guys know what we are going to be doing in gym today?” you say standing up and putting one foot on the bench to tie up the laces on your sneakers. “Soccer, so technically it’s not gym because we’ll be on the field.” Embry replied also tying up the laces to his own shoes. “Are you any good?” Jared asked, and they both looked at you awaiting your reply. “Uhh, I’d say average. I mean i have enough co-ordination to kick the ball in the direction i aim for.” You played a lot of soccer with friends as a kid and at previous schools, so you had enough experience to at least hold your own but you still weren’t amazing. “That’ll be good enough” Embry grinned “but just to warn you, we all get a little competitive” “a little?” Jared questioned and Embry laughed “Fine, a lot.” “A lot competitive? Great english bro.” Jared mocked, making you all laugh. “You ready?” Embry stood next to you as you finished tying the laces of your other sneaker “Yeah let’s go.” you said following them out the changing rooms and towards the pitch marked out on the field. You weren’t surprised the boys here got competitive, but the pressure of proving yourself was starting to make you nervous.
The coach was your typical no-nonsense, drill sergeant teacher. He welcomed you in his own way, which was acknowledging you were new to the school and asking how good you were at soccer; you gave him the same answer you gave Jared and Embry earlier. The coach put you in teams by throwing blue or green bibs randomly at the students. You were pleased to see Jared run up to you wearing a green bib matching your own, at least you knew at least one person on your team. Paul and Embry were on the blue team, and they were trash-talking your team relentlessly, mainly aimed at Jared as he was eagerly sending witty insults back to them until the coach had to blow the whistle to shut everyone up.
Once the teams had finished assigning positions the coach blew the whistle once again for the game to start. You had gladly agreed to take centre midfield as the other guy playing centre midfield seemed extremely confident as he said he was happy to take the most control in the centre field for you both; which saved you the worry of messing up too much. Also Jared was left mid-field so he could be in a space near you to help you out. Immediately after the sharp whistle rang out over the pitch, two boys were clashing over the ball, and a forward from your team managed to tackle successfully. You ran over to back them up with the other centre midfield, whilst Jared sprinted ahead to receive a pass and dribble the ball past a player on the green team. The speed and co-ordination that Jared was moving with took you by surprise, not that you didn't think he would be good but he definitely was a skilled player. You slowly jogged behind and stopped once Jared and another player on your team weaved through opponents towards the goal. Paul and Embry were in defence for the green team, and they were fast approaching Jared to go in for a tackle. You couldn’t believe how quick their reactions were, their feet were moving with the ball so quickly and before you knew it Jared and Embry had completely dismissed the ball and they were now wrestling in the middle of the field. You weren’t sure if it was a fight at first, but you heard laughter echoing over and caught glimpses of them grinning so you knew it was just play fighting. No one else really reacted so it must be a common occurrence between the two friends, and it took the coach several whistles until they actually quit rolling about.
Everyone got back into a space and the whistle blew once again, setting people off running to the ball. The green team had the ball this time, and they were heading this way so you and your centre midfielder starting running towards the opponents to try and make tackles and block passes.
Embry stood near the goal, his arms leaning down on his bent knees whilst he watched the players on the other side of the pitch. “What do you think of y/n?” he said watching your frame blocking a pass and kicking the ball to a member of your team. “Seems alright.” Paul said nonchalantly from where he stood next to Embry, his eyes still focused on the activity in the distance. “then why are you acting so pissed around him?” Embry frowned looking over to his pack brother, only for Paul to continue avoiding his gaze; his eyes still looking straight ahead. “Im not pissed because of him, i’m just having a bad day- you should know my moods aren't exactly controlled.” Paul huffed, bringing his arms up to cross over his chest. A grin creeps onto Embry’s face as he sees an opportunity to wind Paul up “Are you sure you’re not just playing hard to get?” he cocks an eyebrow waiting for a reaction, which was sooner than expected. “What?” Paul snaps his head round to look at Embry, a mix of shock and anger swept across his face. Embry laughed after getting a reaction he was looking for “I'm just kidding, dude” Paul looks at Emrby for a bit longer, a frown still etched onto his face which softens slightly as he slowly turns back to face the direction of the ball, brushing of Embry’s comment. “...I know you're more into taller guys anyway.” Embry bit his lip, which still failed to hide his grin, as he knew he was really testing Paul with this comment. “What the fuck is your problem?!” Paul says sharply, his whole body snapping round this time as he began walking up to Embry, who quickly lifts his torso up to stand straight. His grin now completely fading off his face. “Woah Paul chill? I was kidding, you know that.” Embry said defensively, but ensuring his body language is submissive to prevent Paul spiralling out of control. “Well, when are you gonna stop taking it so far? It’s funny occasionally but after a while it gets annoying, you talking shit all the time.” Paul stood and frowned at Embry, his voice clearly showing his frustration. “I was just playing around? I don't get why you let me get to you so easy, sorry if i annoyed you but how is this any different from our every day interactions?” Embry knitted his eyebrows in confusion as he looks at Paul. “I wasn't affected! I’m not, you're just getting on my nerves. Why did you even make those comments, what were they supposed to mean?” Paul’s frustration increased with each word that left his lips, his voice beginning to strengthen, getting more aggressive as his anger levels start rising. “Paul, hey calm down ma-” “Don’t tell me to calm down!” Paul barked, marching up to Embry and shoving him.
(Back to your POV)
You were in the middle of tackling an opponent to get the ball off them, the past few minutes have been chaos of the ball bouncing between the two teams, and you were impressed with how well you've kept up. “Don’t tell me to calm down!” A deep voice shouted, snapping everyone out of their momentum as you and all the other players look over to see Paul’s large frame clash against Embry’s. Immediately murmuring started, and the coach ran over to them. Jared also began running over, and got their quicker than the coach, pulling Embry back from Paul as soon as he reached the pair. You could see Jared lean to murmur something to Embry, pushing him gently on the shoulder before Embry stormed off towards the changing rooms. Jared then walked over to Paul, where the coach was already trying to diffuse Paul’s angry state, you could see Paul and Jared were having a heated debate by the way their hands were gesturing as they spoke. Not before long Paul also stormed off, running his hand aggressively through his hair as he walks off towards the side entrance of the school building. “What do you think that was about?” you said to a guy watching from next to you “I don't know, but it doesn’t take much to set off Paul’s temper. He’s a cool guy, but sometimes i think he's got a screw loose.” he replied. The coach and Jared walked over to where you all stood on the pitch. Jared came and stood next to you, giving you a small nod when you looked at him to signal it was alright. “Well, i think we’ll call it a day after that. Put your overalls in the basket and go get changed.” The coach sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose, walking away towards the school building; probably to grab a coffee and shut himself in his office to avoid any more teen drama.
“Will they be alright?” you asked Jared, as you walked towards the changing rooms “who Paul and Embry?” Jared looked at you and you nodded in response, “yeah that’s nothing, they’ll be back joking around probably by the end of next lesson.” Jared said distantly, he didn't sound so sure. His mind seemed occupied by other thoughts. It wasn't awkward silence whilst you were getting changed, Embry was still worked up and you could tell you were all thinking about what could have caused Paul’s foul mood.
Paul’s temper was still the topic of conversation whilst you three walked to the literature block. You didn’t mind though it was nice having a break from the polite conversation you've had to make with so many people today. “...I just don’t get why he was so sensitive? Paul and i are always winding up so I don't understand why he reacted so quickly today.” Embry said whilst he trudged alongside you and Jared. “Well, what did you actually say to him?” Jared replied looking over to Embry, who turned his gaze in another direction “ummm” he thought, scratching his head “well, I can't remember exactly but it was barely two sentences.” You and Jared faced each other, sharing a frown, before Jared turned back to face Embry “dude, you are shit at lying. What did you say?” You both continued to look at Embry, waiting for his reply, as you all continued walking along the path next to the school buildings. “Fine, I just said something about how I thought Paul’s type was taller men blah blah blah you get the idea.” Embry rolled his eyes, turning his head to face you both. “Is that it?” Jared replied and Embry nodded. “Weird.” Jared said after a few seconds. “That’s what I mean! Why did that hit a nerve so bad? I’ve said a lot worse to Paul before when we wind each other up and he hasn't batted an eyelid.” Jared hummed in thought whilst Embry continued rambling on until you all reached your classroom.
The literature lesson was spent with the teacher briefly explaining the back story of a play, and they clearly didn't want to be there which was confirmed when they told the class they were putting on a clip of the play for the rest of the lesson. You ignored the dull audio coming form the TV at the front of the class. You’re gaze fixed on the sky through the window, whilst the events on the soccer pitch replayed in your mind, the thought you couldn’t get out your mind was ‘am i the reason Paul is so pissed?’ even though you can’t think of why you would be.
The rest of the day went daily smoothly. You sat with Jared, Embry, and the rest of their friends for lunch where they all excitedly talked over each other to give you the low down about their school and your fellow classmates. However, Paul wasn't anywhere to be seen that afternoon. Once you got home all thoughts of him had faded out your mind, as you were exhausted from the first day at school you just put your headphones in and collapsed on your bed.
