Satan acts extremely annoyed when he sees you trying to hop somewhere without your crutches or lifting anything more than fifteen pounds unaided. Of course, he's just worried about you and expressing that in the most practical way he can. He repeatedly reminds you of advice on improving your recovery rate he found in medical books and the blogs of reputable physical therapists (he always checks into their credentials).

And that's basically what he does, whenever he gets the opportunity. Strain Review :: Blackwater

As a self-employed mother of 3, I can’t stop moving, even if I wanted to. It takes one strong strain of weed to keep ME planted… Ladies and gentlemen, meet Blackwater.

A pure indica, Blackwater packs a sedative-like punch rarely seen these days. I myself prefer either a true indica or true sativa instead of a hybrid, and the gene pool (and ethics) of bud are getting pretty muddled. Imagine my rapture when this sneaky flower floored me!

True to its potent genetics, and rocking some SERIOUS dankness, this is not the strain to smoke if you’re trying to get discreetly stoned. One puff will have you hacking. Two puffs will have you tearing up. Three hits, and time starts to slooow… I can watch a bird in its effortless flight without losing attention. Four puffs, and… Wait, am I still on the porch?! This stuff moves quick and hits hard.

I’ll be keeping Blackwater in my arsenal for those particularly stressful days. What a powerful flower!

dean’s passion is his most upstanding trait. it is the most genuine thing about him and something that really can’t be faked. it is noted by his mother often but never in such simple terms. he’s learned that having a word for passion means nothing to him. he likes to show what he means. he likes to ACT. going off of that, his artistic ability is something he was born with, but his acceleration in the mastery of his craft is directly attributed to said passion and the need to SHOW. 

now is he good with words? he can get by, but he is far more comfortable speaking through a paintbrush than anything else. he always believed that, by speaking, he is doing himself a disservice. he does not feel confident in his charisma or the way in which he speaks. he constantly fears saying something wrong, ESPECIALLY under intense emotional pressure. for example, he absolutely ABHORS opening his mouth when he is angry and / or upset. his voice tends to rise and / or crack, and he has little to no control over it. this only makes things worse, and he often abandons arguments due to this embarrassment. so he would rather not speak when he’s angry. 

none of  dean’s insecurities, though there are plenty, stem from his blood status ( perceived or otherwise ). nonetheless, his insecurities evolve over time from this hindrance to some sole motivation —which, of course, is not always a good thing, but it occurred nonetheless. he keeps his body in prime shape, he reads poetry, and he is genuinely a good guy by default. he was raised well, and he understood that there was no world in existence where his life would be always be easy. he had thick skin young, but he also compartmentalized other doubts and concerns he had about himself. these tend to rear their ugly heads in situations where he feels he suddenly has to compete for something he believes he has already earned. or when he is in a position that slates him in pure inferiority. 

he does grow into his skin. he gets better about himself. and that fire is always there. he is dedicated to whatever it is that manages to touch his heart, and it’s a damn big one too mind you. despite his struggles, he is never afraid to go after what he wants, to stand up for what he believes is right, and most importantly to speak his mind when it matters. the one thing he never wants to do is allow people to fit him into a box and leave him there to rot. he has ambitions. he has dreams and ideas, and none of them will ever align with what is expected of him, but he doesn’t mind that at all. 

overall, dean is as passionate as they come. he doesn’t always have the right answers. he isn’t excelling in most of his classes. he is average in just about all of them. but he cares deeply about his friends, both close and superficial. he has a beautiful mind that speaks in colors and swatches, best spilled out onto a canvas on a quiet evening by the lake. he is fierce and he is fearless, and he is more afraid of doing nothing than he is of doing anything. he doesn’t hold grudges. he doesn’t horde hatred. he holds not a bone like that in his body, and he has the biggest heart. but he is steel and iron and all that nonetheless, and he can be counted on. he came back to fight a war with only the clothes on his back and a flame ignited in his chest, and that sustained him. that was enough. he knows how to make something out of nothing, and that’s not something to sleep on.
