“This is breaking quite a few school rules…” Hermione’s looked at her friends, uneasy. “It’s only our first night back.”

“It’s our last year,” Ginny waved her brows, “We have to say yes to everything!”

“Why would that be it?” hermione crossed her arms, unsure.

“Because we’ll never get to have this year again,” she sighed. “We’ll graduate, I’ll marry Harry and you’ll work things out with my idiot brother and then life will be boring. This is the only time the two of us will get to experience things just us,” she gave Hermione puppy dog eyes.

“What about me?” Neville asked.

“You’ll be there too,” Ginny patted him in the shoulder then gave Hermione a look, “For some of it.”

The three of them were meeting up with Luna, Hannah Abbott, and a bunch of the other 7th and 8th year students. They made their way to the Room of Requirement. As soon as the doors appeared they could hear the beat of the music.

“We can do this Hermione,” Ginny told her. “It’s going to be fun.”

Hermione looked at Neville who met her gaze before getting distracted by the approaching girls. He smiled goofily at Hannah.

“Hello, Hermione,” Luna smiled, “I hope there’s firewhiskey. I’ve developed quite the taste over the summer.”

“Hello, Luna,” she smiled, “I’m sure there will be.”

The group entered and were welcomed by nearly every single 7th and 8th year. Even the Slytherins were here.

Hermione took note of a grinning Blaise Zabini in the corner. He was with Pansy, Theo, and Draco Malfoy. They were sharing a bottle of something that looked expensive.

She followed Ginny to get a drink and tried her best to push through the anxiety that clouded her mind.

Their group broke apart and Hermione scanned the room for someone she could talk to. This was a nightmare. Maybe she should just go stand next to Ginny while she talks quidditch.

Hermione settled on chatting with Dean Thomas who was currently chatting away about his summer. He spoke mostly about Seamus, who was currently in Ireland working with their local Ministry on defense projects.

Ginny came over to chat with Dean about the quidditch season, so Hermione wandered over to Luna. Luna was talking animatedly to Hannah while Neville looked around uncomfortably.

“Alright, Neville?” Hermione asked politely.

“Just wondering how all the Slytherins got an invite,” Neville glanced over to the group.

Hermione shrugged, “I’m sure someone was just trying to be inclusive. We’re gonna be with them all year.”

It was Neville’s turn to shrug. “They shouldn’t have been invited back.”

“I’m sure they’re all trying to turn over a new leaf,” Hermione said.

“A Ministry assigned leaf maybe,” Neville murmured.

“I’m sure the Ministry thought it better to reintegrate them into society now, we’re all still children,” Hermione said.

“Actually, most of us are 18,” Neville said. Hermione playfully rolled her eyes.

“Barely not children,” she said with a small smile.

Neville turned his body away from the group they were talking about. “Hopefully they stay far away.”

After that, Hermione went to go get herself another drink. She needed the alcohol to dull her senses to the rest of the party.

“Hermione,” Ginny grabbed her elbow when she was back at the drink table.

“What?”

“I’m going to force you to do something.”

Hermione looked at Ginny like she had three heads, “Not likely.”

“They’re playing Blindfold Bastille,” Ginny told her, “You’re joining.”

“What is that?”

“Do you know nothing?” Ginny chuckled, “All the players wear magic blindfolds and get sorted into private areas with another player.”

“Like seven minutes in heaven?”

“What?”

“Never mind,” she shook her head, “I think I know what you’re talking about.”

“So you’ll play?” Ginny grinned.

“And no one will know who I wind up with?”

“Not unless you tell,” Ginny smirked, “You can do whatever you want.”

Ginny’s smile was far too big for Hermione to feel comforted. The redhead grabbed her hand and she allowed herself to be dragged.

“When this is securely on,” Ginny handed her a blindfold, “You’ll be shown the room to apparate into.”

“Okay,” Hermione nodded taking a final look at her friend.

“Remember: have fun,” she smirked. Hermione took a deep breath. “Fun, Hermione.”

“Fun,” she nodded.

She exhaled as she put the blindfold on. She saw an image of an abandon classroom on the third floor. She’d been there once before. She repeated the word fun to herself over and over and apparated to the room.

Right after she landed she heard another crack in the room. She took a breath before removing her blindfold. When she did, she was staring at the bright silver eyes of Draco Malfoy.

She could have laughed. So much for fun. Of course she’d be paired with the one wizard who’d rather die than kiss her.

“Granger,” he nodded his head toward her.

“Malfoy,” she responded.

“Are you having a nice night?” He asked.

“I guess,” she pursed her lips.

“Hopefully this surprise didn’t damper it too much,” he said quietly.

“No,” she shook her head, “I just didn’t expect to see you.”

“I can’t say I’m any less surprised,” he gave her a small smile.

“Do you know how the magic works in the blindfolds?” She asked. He raised an eyebrow and took a timid step towards her.

“Is that really what you’re curious about?” He chuckled.

“I mean, of course,” she shrugged. He took another step toward her. “Of all the people.”

“Growing up, I was told that it matches you to your equal,” Draco told her.

“So it doesn’t take in preference?”

“Preference?”

“I mean, I doubt you wanted to find yourself in here with a Muggleborn,” she gestured to herself. “Or are we still using the word mudblood?”

“We’re not,” Draco gave her a pointed look. “I don’t care about your blood status, Granger.”

“That’s new,” Hermione quipped. Draco rolled his eyes.

“Don’t you think I would’ve left by now?”

“No, you always liked to spar,” she raised an eyebrow, “So who’d you get paired with growing up?” She couldn’t stop herself.

“I’ve never played before,” he shook his head, a small smile at his lips.

“Why play tonight?” She asked.

“Blaise convinced me,” he told her. “What about you?”

“I’ve also never played, so Ginny convinced me,” she nodded.

“How’d she do that?” He raised an eyebrow.

“We’re saying yes to more things this year,” she told him. “She told me no one would know and that this would be fun.”

“And are you having fun?” He took another step.

She teetered her head and gave him a playful look, “It certainly hasn’t been dull.”

“No, it hasn’t,” he agreed.

“How did Blaise convince you?” She asked politely.

“Also by telling me to try new things this year,” he said, “He specifically told me to try to not get hexed.”

“Had I know that I would’ve at least tried to stun you,” she smirked.

“I would’ve let you,” he said.

“Let me?” She quirked an eyebrow. “Ginny told me whatever happens is between us, but does that include a duel?”

“Anything you want, Granger,” he chuckled and they looked at each other for a moment. “I feel like now an an appropriate time to formerly apologize to you. I’m sorry for what happened at the Manor. And, I was wrong to call you vile names and I regret that I’ve ever said anything negative about your appearance,” he held his hands open, “You’re fit. I was an idiot. I’m sorry.”

“I’m fit?”

Draco flushed. “I mean, well-“

“I think you’re fit too,” she told him, thankful for the liquid courage she’d been consuming.

“Yeah?” He gave her a suggestive look. “Granger?”

“Hmm?” Her eyes bore into his.

“Do you want to have some fun?” He asked lowly. She nodded slowly and he closed the space between them.

When he was mere centimeters from her, he paused. Maybe she was too drunk; only agreeing because of the firewhiskey.

Similarly, Hermione could smell the alcohol on his hot breath on her face. She looked up at him, he returned her stare. Was this a mistake? It’s Draco Malfoy…

“Is this going to be a mistake?” She whispered.

“What happened to your Gryffindor courage?” He breathed.

“I must’ve left it in the Room of Requirement,” she breathed. He could taste it. Maybe snogging Draco would be nice… maybe more than nice. A dirty little secret. What would she tell Ginny?

Draco had to actively work against his instinct to bury his face in her neck in order to pull back slightly. “This is whatever you want it to be, Granger.”

“Just between us?” She checked.

“Of course,” the corner of his mouth turned up, “S’not like anyone would believe us anyways.”

“Do you believe it?” Her eyes flashed.

“I’ll believe it when I see it,” he raised a brow. Hermione replied with a small smirk.

“Then I’ll show you,” she whispered, moving her head in slightly, her eyes trained on his lips.

Draco was frozen in his spot. His eyes fluttered shut as Hermione’s lips found his.

He quickly unfroze as she moved her lips against his.

He responded by wrapping his arms around her, one of his hands quickly going to the back of her hair. Her curls were soft and not the nest he once thought them to be.

One of Hermione’s small hands was gripping the front of his robes, her other was in his hair, pulling his face to hers. His hair was silky and if she gave it a tug, Draco would release a soft moan. She loved hearing him.

Draco pulled Hermione by the waist, sitting her on one of the tables so he wouldn’t have to bend over her. Hermione giggled as he lifted her effortlessly. Draco kissed a line across her jaw.

Hermione took a ragged breath. Her eyes opened to look at the ceiling for a moment as Draco ravaged her neck.

Draco worked his way back to her mouth. Her eyes fluttered closed again as Draco cupped her face. “Should we stop?” He asked.

“Do you want to stop?” She opened her eyes and gave him a questioning look.

“No,” he breathed. Their lips met again. Hermione pushed her chest into his.

She slipped her hands down his neck, slipping off his robes. His hands went to her waist, his thumbs skimming over her exposed midriff. Heat began to pool in her core.

Standing between her legs, Draco experimentally pushed his hips into hers. She immediately wrapped her legs around the back of his thighs. Draco groaned. As their hips rocked together, Hermione moaned at the feeling of his erection pressed against her core. Heat intensifying through the layers of fabric that separated them.

One of Draco’s hands slid over her chest and she arched into his touch. She wasn’t even sure she was controlling her body’s reactions.

Just as his fingers began to slide up her jumper, a loud alarm made them both jump apart.

“I think that means our time is done,” Hermione panted. She sat up and smoothed out her clothes.

“We are definitely not done, Granger,” Malfoy growled.

“Everyone will be returning,” she told him.

“Meet me back here. In an hour,” he moved to stand back in front of her.

“What about tomorrow?” She offered instead.

“Fine,” he nodded once, “We’ll meet at 8. Don’t make any more plans for the evening.”

Hermione flushed at his demand. “Alright,” she said.

Draco moved his head to kiss her again and she reciprocated it. He cupped her face with one hand. She placed hers on top of it and they pulled apart.

“Have fun?” He asked softly.

She smiled and nodded at him, “Definitely wasn’t dull.”

Sunrise

prompt: "it's three in the morning"

soft dramione; early birds; sunrise at the beach

"It's three in the morning."

Hermione could barely open her eyes. She didn't remember tying rocks to her eyelids, but they felt just as heavy. She tried again to open them more than a smidge.

Draco's face was hovering over hers. His hair was a mess, he was still not wearing a shirt, and he was grinning widely.

Hermione groaned and rolled over.

"Come on, come on, it's Sunday!" Draco said in a hushed excited voice, as if afraid to disturb the unmoving silence around them.

"All the more reason to sleep longer," Hermione buried her face in her pillow, "Come back to sleep, Draco. Five more minutes. Or an hour more. Please."

"I'll make you pancakes later."

Damn him.

"Fine."

Hermione heaved herself upright and rubbed her eyes. Draco pulled her hands away from her face and smiled down at her.

"Good morning," he said, lips turning up in a smile.

"I hate you," Hermione threaded her fingers through his hair and kissed his nose.

It took a while for her to wash her face, make sure her breath wasn't gross, and then get rid of whatever disaster her hair was in. Half an hour later, she walked into the living room.

Draco smiled at her, "You look good."

Hermione looked down at herself. She was still wearing her five year old pajamas, and a loose t-shirt that sagged on her frame and read '1995 Radio' in faded red letters. She didn't even remember how she had gotten it.

"I question your choices sometimes." Hermione shook her head and walked to stand next to him.

"Beach?"

"Beach."

He took her hand and apparated.

They landed some ways away from a cliff side. The ground was carpeted with soft grass that was moist with dew. The sky was still purple, but was beginning to turn lighter on the horizon. The sound of the sea filled the air, and Hermione breathed in deeply.

They watched the sunrise every Sunday. Hermione was no early bird and sure, she did look fussy about it sometimes, but in reality she wouldn't lose this weekly ritual for anything.

She laid a cloth down on the grass and patted it down. Draco sat down. They were both barefoot. Hermione sank down next to him. She placed her head on his chest.

"We can take a nap together later, if you want." Draco said, his voice a rumble in her ears.

She hummed and settled down more comfortably. After a while, she turned her head up to bury it in the crook of his neck, while her arm went around his waist.

"Will you be mad if i fall asleep for just five minutes?"

"No, darling, I won't."

"Promise you'll wake me up?"

"Promise."

Draco's breathing worked as a soothing lullaby. His fingers tangled and untangled her hair, and soon he started humming something.

She didn't know how five minutes went by, but it seemed like only a few seconds before Draco kissed her neck to wake her up.

"The sun is coming up."

Hermione breathed him in. She took in his warmth, his affection, all of him.

When she looked at the sun, it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen, and she was feeling beautiful feelings and thinking beautiful thoughts and all was good in the world.

January Dramione fanfic wrap-up *with links*

FULL-LENGTH:

Waifs and Strays by kyonomiko: very cute fluffy fic where draco is a cutiepie pine marten.

& Obey, Till Death Do Us Part by LongtimeLurker1111: his could’ve been a dark romance, but instead hermione decided to stay with “phin” theo and i just don’t understand it. the worst part wasn’t rapist draco bc he was the bad guy, it was rapist “phin” theo who was supposed to be good smut was nice at first.

Brand New World by NinaBinaBallerina: i loved loooved the beggining of this fic. then after they graduated and she found out she was pregnant i kinda lost the plot. i read until the point draco wanted her to move in with him while he was married to astoria and then i just skimmed until the epilogue.

In Silence And Submission by gillianeliza: this was a cool smutty bdsm fic, it had some nice things but i just think the writing was kinda wonky? nevertheless, very much enjoyed reading this.

The Fever by Flightglow32: this was supposed to be a smutty novelette but the smut happens in the very last chapter and only last five pages and we skim through the smut scenes like we’re a train on schedule and i just don’t understand why? especially because the fic was so sexual in its themes so why was the smut so lackluster??

Draconian by Noelle: It was like a really fluffy wartime with not-so big stakes, at first i thought how stragely whiny and crying hermione was all the time, but then we started to slowly find out what happened to her. I didn’t feel very much towards this story but it was entertaining and very readable.

Uncoffined by lady_of_clunn: it was nice, but due to the dubious ethics i’m quite conflicted of how i’m supposed to feel.

Damaged Goods by slytherin_after_dark: look, i know i had dnfed this when i had read only like one or two chapters, but lemme tell you how much i loed this fic when i picked it back up! it was all i needed - spicy, entertaining, angsty, with toxic but possessive and loving draco. although hermione felt ooc, it didn’t dim the reading experience.

The Politician's Wife by pir8fancier: this was so realistic, the romance was subtle but powerful, the little bit of smut we got was fantastic. also, it was incredibly well-written.

Seasons Pass (To This Ass) by mighbewriting: didn’t love it, but it was short, so i read it in one night. the smut was realistic as in how sex works but it wasn’t great smut if you know what i mean. loved draco’s quidditch player physique.

More Than One Way To Win by scullymurphy: i loooved the fake dating in this one, it was short but had all the scenes, i really liked it, although i wish there was more plot for after they got into an actual relationship.

Safe Home by khakis: cute kinda short kinda omegaverse story with draco as a werewolf but the werewolf part doesn’t play a huge part.

Breed by RoseDeVents: sooo muuuch breeeding.

The Curse of Malfoy Manor by alwaysaclaw11: a nice retelling of beauty and the beast, but it didn't leave a lasting impact on me.

Our Girl by geoblock: hands down the best smut i’ve ever read, and it's hermione x draco x theo x BLAISE

Innocent Monsters by itscometothis: very fluffy, but then draco gets depressed and a lot of attention is paid to his depression which i don’t mind, but it was a bit triggering. so not extremely fluffy, even though on of the tags was “tooth-rotting fluff”.

"Scalpel, please.'

"Here you go."

"Fleece, please."

" What are you doing?"

Hermione turns her head to look at Draco, who has stopped in the doorway. She smiles lightly, looking at him.

"Nurse! Nurse, we're losing him!"

Scorpius' alarmed voice makes her return to her work. Namely, to assist the young Dr. Malfoy on the operation of Mr. Teddy. His white teddy bear.

"Scorpius, are you a doctor?"

“I'm a surgeon, dad, just like you."

The costume party has been described as a lavish affair, organized by Narcissa Malfoy, grandmother of Scorpius. One of the highlights was Teddy Lupin, who constantly attended to his bleach blonde-dyed hair, mirror and comp in hand, while telling people to “wait until [his] father hears about this”. His costume being an obvious reference to his cousin, Draco Malfoy, who observed the scene with mild amusement, at one point asking whether that was the thanks he would get for giving him access to the Malfoy vault at Gringotts. According to onlookers, Teddy could be heard whispering back: “what does he think how I paid for this costume? The hair products alone were 10 Galleons”.

Mr. Draco Malfoy himself was dressed as “Mr. Darcy”, apparently a very masculine literary war-hero in the non-magical world, at least that is what Mr. Malfoy told an amused looking Harry Potter, although the latter insisted that was not what Mr. Darcy was known for. “It is essential to this costume that you roll up your sleeves”, Hermione Granger – who we are legally forced to describe as not-Mr. Malfoy’s-girlfriend - told Mr. Malfoy at one point while assisting him with doing so.

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

My stats tell me that I've written 50, but 5 are multi-chapter collections, so... a lot. Yeah.

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

733,820. If you asked me three years ago if I could ever write that much I would've laughed in your face. Isn't growth amazing?

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Harry Potter (though I do read some Good Omens, Carry on Simon and Bagginshield stuff)

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

UGH. I don't want to be honest here, since 2 of the five are Dramione fics I've now listed as ANON because of harassment reasons. I'll give you the NEXT five instead ;) 1. 93 Diagon Alley (Harry x George) They were roommates 2. HP Cocktober 2022 Collection (Multiple) Prompt fest 3. 5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Yes. I try to, because the BEST part of sharing is connecting with people who enjoy what I've done. Community, ya know?

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Mastermind (Draco x Hermione, Draco x Harry, Draco x Ron, Ron x Harry) The worst UHEA I've ever inflicted on y'all is this Dronarry fest 2023 story. Dark stalker Draco goes off the rails in the end. It's a masterpiece, I'm so proud of it.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

From Sunset to Star Rise (Harry x Ron) Cozy fall vibes, falling in love, little to no angst (Ron has a tiny bit of anxiety, that's all)

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Yes. Mainly the bigger ship ones (Dramione, looking at you) If you're wondering WHY I write rare pairs a lot, it's because rare pair fandom is a safe space with AWESOME people. We may be few in number, but WE GO HARD and LOVE HARDER.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

ALL KINDS (though I'm not great a fluffy smut). Check out my HP Kinktober Collection 2023 posting daily RIGHT NOW. It's very kinky and dark.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

The closest I've come to crossover is more like "inspired by a vibe." I wrote a Community (TV Series) inspired paintball fic here: All's Fair in Love & War & Paintball (multiple ships)

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

No, BUT I've had people post me on Goodreads. Read my thoughts on why this is bad fandom etiquette HERE

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I've had many requests, but no one has followed through yet.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No! But I'm interested in this concept, especially if the co-author is someone I vibe with.

14. What’s your all time favourite ship?

STAWP. It's too hard a question! Lately, I'm obsessed with Dronarry, and any combination of those three. I also think I'm more in love with stories than ships. If it's an amazing story I end it with "OMG this is the BEST EVER" and I say it about a lot of ships.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I'm writing a multichap Drarry fic where Draco is a wandmaker, and it's falling in love fluff. I'm terrified to write them because I feel like I'll get torn to shreds because the Drarry fandom is too amazing for the likes of little old me. I'll just read Drarry and call it good, and MAYBE I'll get the courage to finish someday.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Ideas. I'm chockful of ideas. Also, I read a ton, so I think the more you read, the better you write.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Fluff. I HATE writing fluff. Why is it so hard?

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I don't typically do it because I'm monolingual and don't want to fuck it up. I don't mind when others do it

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Harry Potter!

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

How to Care for Your Monster Book: A Guide by Rubeus Hagrid (Hagrid x Monster Book of Monsters) Y'aaaaaallll... I have no regrets about this fic. It's the only fic I've ever written that is perfect, I'll never top it, it's just so funny and weird (like me).

Weekend WIP Game

Thank you, @whimsymanaged, for the tag, I am sorry it's taken me so long to do this ha ha!

Rules: List your WIPs below (if you only write one fic at a time, feel free to include future WIPs/ideas!) then answer the following questions. Then, tag as many people as you have WIPs (or more).

Damn, this is hard!

I'm just going to start and see where this takes me...

Here we go:

Chapter Fics Currently Being Posted:

Petals (Dramione, Fae AU, Fated Mates) - Petals just kind of ... happened. It was meant to be a quick five-chapter fic, but the chapters kept getting longer and longer and all of a sudden I have a 90,000+ fic on my hands. Definitely the longest chapters I've written for a book/fic. I tend to like to keep chapters no more than 7k long, but Petal's average is something like 18k. I have no explanation other than it felt right.

Sacred Blood (Dramione, Mafia AU, Alchemy instead of magic) - I absolutely love Mafia Romance, and so it was natural for me to be inspired to write a DHr Mafia fic. This story took a back seat while I got Petals out of my system, unfortunately, it's been a hard year and Petals has taken an age to finish. But I can't wait to get back to my murder bbies.

Wings ... and Other Romantic Things (Charmione, Second Chance Love, Mystery) - A little romcom-esque romp. Hermione is forced to work with Charlie (an ex-fling during the war) when local Veelas are being attacked. Charlie and Hermione must solve the crime and catch the attacker, all while past feelings come back in full force.

Drabble Series In Progress:

Think Of Me (Dramione, Pierced C*ck Draco, Curious Hermione) - I have literally one more chapter to this raunchy, crack fic. I swear I will get to it soon!

Games (Dramione, Panville, Bluna, Theo/Padma, Cho/Dean, Ginny/Harry, Ginny/Seamus, Magical Sex Toys) - I get this one requested to finish a lot (you filthy heathens). I have five more pairings to do!

Ferrets and Fun (Dramione, Ferret Animagus Draco, Fluff/Humor) - I adore Ferret!Draco. Truly. There is no real plot in this drabble series. Just whatever inspires me. I should write another installment of his shenanigans soon ...

Lucius Malfoy and the Eternal Struggle of Being Him (Dramione, Lucius POV) - Same as above, no real plot, just dramatic Daddy Lucius watching his son be in love with Hermione. He's not bad in these, just extra!

Fics I am Currently Writing But Have Not Posted:

Magic Finds A Way (Dramione, Jurassic Park AU) - This fic is an absolute delight. I am actually really proud of it and all the parallels I've made to the original JP book and the films. But it will probably be a while before I post it :(. It's gotta be almost completed before I start to post and it's got to be absolutely perfect to me.

Demagogue (Second Gen, OG MCs but descendants of Dramione, Hinny, and Voldy) - This is my Magnum Opus. And like Magic Finds A Way, will not be posted until I feel it is perfect. But it's a twisty one, with lots of action, mystery, and pining romance. I can't wait to start posting about it.

The Perfect Alpha (Dramione, A/B/O) - I go feral for A/B/O, so while I'm surprised I haven't written more of it (only one little drabble), I am also not surprised. This fic is a lofty one, and my ambition for it has caused it to be put on the back burner. :(

Sad Eyes: The Expansion Series (Dramione, Theo/Padma, Blaise/Luna, Panville) I have three spin-off short chapter fics based in the world of my Sad Eyes fic. All feature a different pairing, tackling different types of trauma and how they heal after the war.

Curses of the Sand (Panville, Adventure through Egypt) - I started writing this fic for a Panville fest but fell behind due to school. I love the story and setting and pairing, so I will definitely be posting it at some point!

2. Which of your WIPs is currently the longest?

Petals at 92,642.

3. Which WIP do you expect will end up the longest?

Demagogue. POSSIBLY Magic Finds A Way.

4. Which WIP is your favourite to write/the most enjoyable to write? Why?

Too difficult a question. I love all my fics for different reasons and it really depends on my current mood and place in life that decides what I want to work on. I'm going through a rough time right now, so I would have to say Petals because Hermione is also currently struggling and it's nice to not feel alone in that regard.

But, I daydream about Demagogue and the Sad Eyes Expansions the most, I would say.

5. Which WIP do you find the most intimidating to write? Why?

Magic Finds A Way. I am worried no one will care about it since it isn't the typical Dramione fic. It's science that has been twisted by magic and dinosaurs ha ha. And if it "flops" I would be devastated because I have literally worked so hard on the parallels between it and the OG materials and media.

I guess the same could be said about Demagogue. It's my baby, my most precious creation, and if no one reads it because it's second-gen and OG characters, with the main pairings fandom likes just being sided characters ... I would probably leave fandom lol, I'm being dramatic but also not really. I am not sure how I would take it if no one gave it a chance.

6. Which WIP do you experience the most self-doubt about. Why?

Oh, well, read my answer to the question above!

7. Which of your WIPs will you seek out a beta/sensitivity reader for? Why?

Magic Finds A Way. I have two betas that have read the OG Jurassic Park, and also have a fandom friend helping me with the French Draco speaks.

I have the same betas for every chapter fic I write. They both encourage and rip apart my writing to help me flesh out every single aspect of my stories.

Drabbles? You get what you get 🤣 from me.

8. Have any of your WIPs been struck by the curse of writer's block?

I don't really get writer's block. I know exactly what I want to happen in all of my story ideas, but I do have periods of time where I am physically unable to write whether that be irl drama, my health, or a busy work schedule that leaves me exhausted.

9. Which WIP has your favourite OC? Tell us about them?

Demagogue! Yes! So, In this fic, The Cursed Child does not exist and my MC is named Hallow and she is the abandoned daughter of Voldemort, adopted by Harry and Ginny after the war.

10. Which WIP is the sexiest?

Well, that depends on what you like 😉

Creature fucking, particularly wing kink? Read Petals.

You into egregious smut? Read my Games series.

Sharp suits, hand kinks, and men who would literaly murder anyone who touches you---that does it for you? Sacred Blood is your jam.

When I finally post my A/B/O, I am sure it will take the cake for spice.

11. Which WIP is the angstiest?

Oh my gosh, Sad Eyes. Hand's down.

12. Which WIP has the best characterisation (in your humble opinion)?

Demagogue. But, for a fic I am currently posting/have posted? Sad Eyes.

13. Which WIP has the best scene setting (in your humble opinion)?

Magic Finds A Way - Isla Nublar (dinosaur island, like come on!)

I've kind of already said why, but Demagogue and Magic Finds A Way.

16. Do you dream about any of your WIPs?

Yes ha ha.

17. Do any of your WIPs have particular complexities that your other fics don't?

They all have different complexities and characterizations of the characters we all know and love. I try to change things up with every fic!

18. Which WIP is the funniest or has the most humour?

Lucius Malfoy and the Eternal Struggle of Being Him cracks me up. I love Lucius. And though Sad Eyes is about healing trauma and all that, I think there are some pretty funny moments and quips in that fic.

19. Do any of your WIPs contain outside POVs or a deep dive on a character other than the main ship? How are you finding that process?

Lucius Malfoy and the Eternal Struggle of Being Him, Lucius' POV.

My Sad Eyes Expansion fics as well as my Games series are both diving into pairings I have never done before nor see often or at all!

Petals has POV parts from Narcissa's and it's a really cool way to create an even bigger picture in the aspect of court politics within the fae realm. It makes the stakes seem greater than just Draco and Hermione being mates, etc.

20. Tell us one thing we don't know about one or more of your WIPs.

I have a song for every scene of anything I write. Most of everything I come up with is inspired by music. If you ever ask me what song helped me write a scene/fic/drabble, I will definitely have one to share.

Tagging: Look, I have too many WIPs to tag, so I am not even going to try. I also think this challenge has already made the rounds since I am so behind on doing it. So I don't want to bother anyone by accidentally double-tagging them!
