┊┊❁ཻུ۪۪♡ ͎. 。˚ °
Age;19
Species; Dragon hybrid
Gender; Libramasculine
Sexuality; Demisexual
Pronouns; He/him
Height; 2m
Appereance;
Kayn has shoulder length, fluffy black hair, which he sometimes keeps tied up in a ponytail. His skin is tanned, with coral undertones.
A pair of freckles lays on his face, though they're hard to notice at first glance. What's easy to notice Is his stature, taller than most, though he's not particularly beefy either.
His almond, iris colored eyes give him a friendlier look, as well as pointy ears on the sides of his head. He has a little smile stampted on his face.
┊┊❁ཻུ۪۪♡ ͎. 。˚ °
Personality;
Bubbly and clumsy, Kayn is generally someone who's vibing with the Friends™, even if that vibe might end up in something not so vibey but hey at least you'd be with him!!
He's very cheerful, someone you'd like to have around from time to time. A goofball most call him, but a kind one at that.
In short; he's the goddest boy<33but my god Is he stupid
┊┊❁ཻུ۪۪♡ ͎. 。˚ °
Trivia;
He's originary from South Italy, more specifically Naples.
Kayn has a boyfriend, and no, that won't be changed, even for rps or aus. (Anyways they r referred to as The Beloveds/Boys and i love them so dearly)
His birthday Is on the same day as the creator, which Is on the 8th of march.
Kayn and Ruri are proud owners of a cat, whose name Is Fedus. She's a 2y/o girlie and she looks like this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kayn absolutely adores to give names to things he has a connection with. For example, if someone close to him were to give him a anything, even a small pen, he'd still give It a name and take great care of It.
He's a summer enjoyer!!
Kayn's love language Is physical contact. With a partner he would get extremely clingy, especially indoors and alone. That doesn't mean friends are apart from that; he will still hug them or scruff their hair if that meant staying close with them. He's just affectionate like that, even if that affection isn't romantic or platonic.
If It wasn't clear already, he's kind of an hopeless romantic, and his inability to form coherent english sentences plays in that. <\3

Sleep provides the period of rest for both the conscious mind and the animal body. During sleep, the spiritual nature is allowed some freedom, much like a prisoner being released on parole […] So sleep becomes a period of freedom for the soul, a daily vacation from the drudgery of existence in the flesh […] When we can't sleep, something is wrong. Our soul nature is not able to have its free time.

Am home sick with viral cold with five year old, so making tea. Thought I would share a very simple and easy recipe.
Ginger
“Ginger is used as a catalyst, promoting a rapid change in conditions. If you add small quantities of ginger to any incense, it will enhance the effects of the incense and make it work more quickly.
Elementally, ginger is the “fire of air.” It is used in spells of all kinds to assist them being brought to fruition more quickly. Take care that whenever ginger is used in a spell, it is the smallest of the components of the spell. If too much ginger is used, it will overwhelm the other components, making the spell a waste of effort.” — Excerpt From True Magic by Draja Mickaharic

Incense part #2, Consecrating and Blessing the censer with life.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Continuation of post #1 , this one deals with enlivening/breathing life into the censer and basically consecrating it. I would assume that you, the reader were able to secure some kind of censer. Now I know that these conditions of gathering the church, mosque, temple, holy dirt isn't feasible for some people, some people can't make too much smoke or can't handle too much incense. In any case this is an alternative to the above, from Draja Mickaharic's Spiritual Cleansing book. Charcoal, can, Saucer, A, B,C. I also I recommend self-igniting charcoal:
Tumblr media
I also recommend making one of these small "resin heaters" if you CAN and you won't don't cut your fingers while making them. Also DON'T DON'T DON'T use synthetic incense mix with resin heater because if the flame reach the incense mix it might catch on FIRE. Your own personal safety is important, so big marks on THIS, be careful and whatever you want to think just if you can afford to buy a bucket of sand and put the censer there it would be better.
Now What? welp I would assume you have a specific censer or some kind of censer that you would USE for this, and you should the censer will be full of life and every time you use it then it will gain some of the flavor/incense of your work. The first idea you can use if you're burning with charcoal or without charcoal is that you don't want to scorch the resin/gum. a piece of aluminum foil or a tealight candle holder like the one I am using....of course you can use mica sheet, but I don't have the qash for that. In any case, the heat is more regulated this way and you get more out of your resin pieces in the long run. Instead of using 3 pieces of frankincense gum you only need one. Yes the incense help but it's like the wings of a bird, the incense and YOUR HEART/YOUR PRAYER is what carries the other wing of the bird. You set up the base of holy dirt/sand/ash, you put the charcoal, before you light it up you put it on your altar/place of working. You light up the charcoal in the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit or whatever you start your working with. You will recite Gospel of John 1:1-14 for 7 times over the charcoal and breath into it from afar. Afterwards you put one frankincense and myrrh to bless the censer for the first time and bring life into it, and say Psalm 23 three times over it and present it in front of your icon of God/Divine Creator and if you don't have one just raise it up and ask God to bless it. Now take it to safe place for it to finish burning/charcoal to cool down. That's it for today, stay tuned tomorrow for the "next step".

Sources
Hello, I’ve been compiling my sources for you to look at and use and read and cross reference. It will take a while to get every single one on here, and I will update it with a group of books at a time. But, these are the sources I use the most and reference back to all the time and are a staple to understanding my craft specifically. I will link physical books, scholarly articles (free of course), ebooks, blogs, videos, and research websites I use. This will be linked on all of my posts as a citation page basically. I’ve included links along with ratings and small things I think are important about the source, and if I would recommend it for beginners. Enjoy, and hopefully you will find something that you connect with or help you with learning or freshening up on topics. Thank you!
Books

The Green Witch: Your Complete Guide to the Natural Magic of Herbs, Flowers, Essential oils, and More, Arin Murphy-Hiscock (8/10, has lots of great ways to connect to nature and correspondences, however does use language like smudge and other American indigenous focused language and herbs. Beginner recommendation)
Protection:
Protection & Reversal Magick: A Witch’s Defense Manuel, Jason Miller (10/10, I love this book it has a lot of great tips for protection magic and items that have been used for protection. Beginner recommendation. A free version can be found on pdf drive, make sure to use a vpn)
The Witch’s Shield: Protection Magick and Psychic Self-Defense, Christopher Penczak (8/10, references Italian folk magic, I am not Italian and do not practice Italian folk magic so I can not comment on that part, but outside of that has some good tips)

Love:
Love Spells: A Handbook of Magic, Charms, and Potions, Anastasia Greywolf (8/10, mentions smudging something that is a closed practice by indigenous practitioners, has lots of love spells both for beginners and more advanced practitioners. Semi beginner friendly)
Websites

Videos
Protection:
Protection Magick, The Witch of Wonderlust (9/10, great for understanding and watching someone do protection magic, has book recommendations. Beginner recommendation)

"Yugoslavs Fighting at Home, to Train Here," Brantford Expositor. May 27, 1942. Page 3. ---- By FRANK FLAHERTY, Canadian Press Staff Writer ---- OTTAWA. May 27 - (CP) - While Gen. Draja Mikhailovitch and his elusive Chetniks battle the Nazis in the mountains of their native Yugoslavia pushes plans for the training of a new army and air force in Canada, to fight the Nazis from the outside.
Dr. Izidor Cankar, first Yugoslav Minister to Canada, in an interview with The Canadian Press today expressed appreciation of the hospitality granted by Canada to the forces of his country. "The Canadian Government has published an order by which it ex- tends the hospitality enjoyed up to now by the Belgian, Norwegian, Polish, Czechoslovak and Netherlands troops to the Yugoslav army and air forces which our Government intends to raise and train in this country," he said. "We are very grateful to Canada for this generous action by which we shall be enabled to join the efforts of the Allied Nations and combat our common foe from abroad as our people are combatting them in conquered Yugoslavia." MANY AVAILABLE Dr. Cankar said he hoped training of Yugoslav forces would start soon, but declined to say where it would take place. He said there are a considerable number of Yugo- slav citizens in various parts of North and South America, some of whom may join the forces of that country. "The struggle of the Yugoslav people at home is terrible. Indeed it is repugnant to think of all the horrors which are committed in my country. THE NEW ORDER "The famous new order means there is a diabolical pride, an inhuman disdain of mankind if they are not German. It means cruelty, robbery and fatal moral drunkenness caused by the shedding of in- nocent blood and by the suppressed fear of what will happen if Germany loses the war. "The reaction of our country to this new order is obvious. We love freedom as we love life itself. We can be conquered but we can not feel well and we can not keep quiet until we are free. "Our people have been warned against lightly-provoked sacrifices, . but they did not care. There is only one fight from the boundaries of Italy to Bulgaria, from the boundaries of Hungary to Montenegro.
"There is the lonely hero Mikhailovitch with his Chetniks, but not only Cherniks are fighting. The whole nation is engaged in the fight. The feeling of Yugoslav national unity now is higher than ever."

Soulmate AU ideas
So for getting some ideas how to subtly tell a soulmate, I was looking up things and came across a masterlist here (thanks @r-evolve-art )
Tomorrow I'll post the ones I thought would make good Enja scenarios (on @enjagoodness ) that I won't be using for Enja Day this year, but here are some others that were intriguing that aren't Enja related
LIST
*Your eyes are your soulmate’s hair colour, changes when they dye it
Could this actually count for DraJa? Ja’far’s eyes were green then turned gray–Drakon had green hair then assimilated…maybe has a few dark dragon hairs?
Also read this just after starting Orient and had noticed how Musashi has red hair and blue eyes while Tsugui has blue hair and red eyes (granted hers are of lighter hues). Then the next day watched enough to meet Michiru who has dark with a purplish hue hair and gold eyes, complimenting Kojiro's blond hair, violetish eyes. Albeit, things were going MusashixMichiru but adding this soulmate idea in could add some drama XD
*Only your soulmate can kill you.
Why does this scream SinJa?
*You can’t harm your soulmate
*You can only harm your soulmate
First of those two also screams SinJa
OTHERS
Also intriguing ideas, but only a few highlighted from the previously linked masterlist. Would love for Enja, but don't have specific hcs for these like the promptlist I'll be posting later.
*See color for the first time when you meet, fades away when they die
This one is so poetic~
*Everyone has heterochromia, one eye is your natural colour the other is your soulmate’s natural colour. Once you meet all eyes return to natural colour.
*Once you meet your soulmate, you grow wings like an angel. You gain one new feather each time something special happens between you two. When your soulmate dies, you lose all your feathers and can no longer fly.
Also poetic
*If you don’t find your soulmate by your #th birthday, you die
*Everyone wears a mask. You get to finally take it off when you meet the one with your identical mask, your soulmate.
*If anyone except for your soulmate says your name, you die
*Opposite of the above, if your soulmate says your name you die
*Bubbles gives you a blurry glimpse into your soulmate’s world (visions of possessions, friends, family, laughter, crying, etc)
That could be fun
*One soulmate owns a lock and the other owns the key to that lock.
Key to my heart
*Everyone gets a list of their soulmate’ worst qualities
Hahaha that’s cheerful XD
*Literal sparks fly when you're near your soulmate, soothing for the two of you but static shock for others.
*Your level of talent at a hobby is determined by how close you are with your soulmate.

True psychic attack is not a common occurrence, as few people are important enough to be the recipient of a psychic attack, and fewer still are well enough trained to launch one. Psychic negativity may be transmitted on a much lower level, however, and it is this negative spiritual energy which can be removed through the process of spiritual cleansing.
