The Doctor's breakdown destroyed me. It was so heartbreaking to see the way in which he felt seen by Donna, felt relieved, felt understood, just for it all to get taken away in such a cruel way. It was horrible. And then he had to take a minute, a minute to scream and kick and punch, and I couldn't bear it. Worst part of it? I genuinely believed it was the real Donna with the fake Doctor. It broke me, because I thought Donna was trying to comfort someone who hadn't experienced that, not that the Doctor was being falsely comforted. Oh I hated it.

I think we should write more crossover fics between Aphverses. And I don't mean just MCD and MyStreet, those are easy. I mean have a character from My Inner Demons show up in the Nether. Have someone from MyStreet end up in the Void Paradox timeline and recognizing MCD Laurance but like he's not their Laurance, and this Aphmau isn't theirs either. Fish Donna ends up in Mermaid Tales.

it’s still so funny to me that donna tartt was like “i think the first duty of the author is to entertain; i think it is a moral duty” and the new york review of books went “this is the death knell of american letters. this heralds the infantilization of literary culture. this is what happens when adults read YA”

like the sanctum sanctorum of US lit crit trotted out their brightest luminaries and the best material they could muster was a grievance post you’d find on tumblr about tenderqueers who lack reading comprehension and/or the stomach for “nuanced/complex/challenging/transgressive” art driving publishing demand toward fluffy, undemanding fare called Peter & Apollo Waltz Among the Stars or whatever. all Discourse converges toward the most inane center and it does not hold. it does not cohere! it’s not true!

Kon's quite as Donna approches him. How could he say anything that was Donna fucking Troy. He'd always respected her. Kon could count the number of people who could understand what he was going through on one hand. Donna happened to be one of them. It was nice that Cassie had sent her his way. Kon had just a hard time reaching out and asking for help when he needed someone to talk to. Sometimes he just bottled it up and let it fester until the glass cracked. "Hey Donna I uh..." Shit how did you have conversations like this? He was so out of practice. "Yeah... I think talking to you would really help. Thanks for coming to check on me." Donna had a big legacy on her shoulders just like Kon did. Diana was a hard act to follow just like Clark was. There was probably a lot of pressure on Donna to be just like Diana. "I'm just having a hard time... I dunno just being my own person I guess. I'm like trying to chase my younger self but I'm not really him anymore and I'm not really Clark it's all really messy." Kon hoped he wasn't just dumping this all on her out of nowhere. "How do you do it? Like does this ever go away or are you always stuck like this?"

out of all of these the most visually pleasing is re7, i really love the red and green, it was fun making all the frames with their little trinkets that relate to the current events, the one with the lords was especially fun to make

daniela, lady D, angie, donna, moreau, and chris

daniela is my fave, i think she looks so cute, chris is a close second though, i drew lady D first and based everyone else off of her, my least favorite is donna just because there isnt a lot going on

karl, miranda and ethans heart, and eveline

this may be my favorite karl i have ever drawn and i did it with my finger on flipaclip and i have never been able to replicate it again and its making me so depressed

i really like miranda in this as well, she looks very pretty

some of my favorite frames!

this impact frame of ethan being caught by karl, i think he looks like a really stressed hamster and its really funny to me

paranoid ethan pre re8 was very fun to draw, i like how scared and nervous he looks

the frame before ethan detonates the bomb

i like this frame, his eyes r a little bigger than before and his lips r more "M" i think he looks cute, my friends said it was too depressing when i drew the frame in vc

the eveline segment is the only part with shading and i liked it alot, i think she looks spooky
