That pokévillan marriage hc was soooo sweet! 😩😩❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Then I laughed imagining them scrambling to find their s/o's ring size, especially if they don't wear jewelry at all. Can I request hcs of how the submas, larry and whoever you want finds out their s/o's ring size? I can only imagine the chaos and hilarity that insues as they try to be discreet 🤣
djajfjd that's me tbh. I can barely stand necklace and bracelets so they'd die trying to find my ring size
characters: Ingo, Emmet, Larry, Nanu
▲Ingo▼
● Somehow, it had completely slipped his mind that he needed to find your ring size out for the piece of jewellery he planned to spend well into four digits on, until after Elesa questioned him. Her deadpan expression made he realised his grievous error. The new situation left him in shambles. How did he get your ring size without you realising it? He wanted his plans to be a surprise. Many thoughts crossed his mind on just how to get there.
● Could he try to guess? He was not too overly familiar with it. Directly asking you was not something that he would dare do. He thinks maybe of getting you a ring as a random gift to see how close it would be to your size, but ends up backing out as he worries about the confusion it might bring. Then, he remembers something from his younger days. His more rural childhood provided an ease strategy for this information.
● Suddenly, he takes you out to a route with wild flowers and ties a flower ring around your finger. He slides it on and off to confirm that it was a proper comparison, and then takes it away under the illusion of wanting to preserve it. (He does, actually, but only after ascertaining the information he needs.) Now, he can only hope you do not get suspicious of anything.
▽Emmet△
○ It crossed his mind much too late. He was already nearly in the process of buying the ring when he was asked about the ring size. Emmet felt verrry dumb forgetting such an important detail and had to awkwardly explain that he did not know before backing out of the store. He stood in a daze for a few moments. This was going to be a surprise, but he did not have a clue what your ring size was. He texted Elesa about his situation. Her reply made him feel even dumber. An obvious solution to his problem.
○ Well, that was if you had any rings for him to compare. If you did not, he would simply perish. Possible other solutions ran through his head. Would it be so out of character for him to measure your finger? Probably, but he was considered odd by many people, so it could work. Though, you were more aware of the extent of his personality than other people. He feels deeply lost about how to about it.
○ If you have rings, he goes for Elesa's suggestion to get your ring size and leaves you none the wiser. But, if you do not have any, he must unfortunately bear the circumstance of measuring the circumference of your finger. You will probably catch on to why he is doing it, but please don't make it obvious you have. He will get sad. Verrry sad. Let him have this.
💼Larry🏢
🍙 It crosses his mind pretty early. He has been around his boss enough to know a bit about accessory sizing. Though, he will admit he is not sure how to get it. He ponders it quietly while stopped outside the office. His expression scares passers-by as he stands eerily still. Eventually, he does is around Rika, who lends an ear to his issue and sighs. She did not expect him to have a romantic side. Of course, if she does suggest just asking for your measurement, she feels certain he will.
🍙 Her advice to check for other rings remains in his head as he returns home. Obviously, just asking you had crossed his mind. There was no reason to make a show out of proposing, especially at his age, but he felt you would appreciate the surprise. Hassel had become involved at some point and proposed something with the use of flowers that he had heard about from a friend. Larry felt even more uncertain about how to approach it now.
🍙 At some point, he grabs your hand, catching you off-guard. His silent observation of your hand would be distressing if not for his odder ways of showing affection popping up. He considered a rough estimate in his head after he let your hand go. Hopefully, this would be accurate.
🐈‍⬛️Nanu❤️‍🩹
🌑 It felt a bit dumb for him to finally just be settling down, but you obviously had been subtly mentioning it to him. Deciding that he had nothing left to lose, he chose to visit Olivia. Of course, with her better knowledge about accessories, she stared at him for a moment when he did not know your ring size. It slipped his mind, despite it being completely obvious. Olivia began giving him some suggestions on how to get your ring size subtly. He nodded and stepped out of the store with a sigh.
🌑 He thought on it for a moment. Finding a ring that you had around his home might be hard, trying something cutesy like tying a flower around your finger was out of character for him. He certainly could not get away with just taking a measurement of your ring finger. Nanu shook his head as he watched a stray Meowth run through the streets of Konikoni. If he just asked you, he knew you would likely catch on, of course… But his mind went back to Olivia. Well, nothing wrong with twisting the truth a little to keep some mystique going on.
🌑 So, he called you. You answered. “Olivia wants your ring size,” Nanu half-lied, “She's making a piece of jewellery for you. I don't know it.” You gasped excitedly and quickly provided the required information. He thanked you and hung up. Walking back in the store, he told Olivia your ring size. You probably might be a little suspicious, but as long as you were not completely aware, the Kahuna supposed.

One person liked the au comment so here it is:
Concept: people from the rift aren't uncommon. Jubilife and the clans frequently find them and bring them in. In fact, they even fall with all their memories in tact. They know who they are, how they came to be where they went, and where they came from. They know what they were dropped in Hisui to do. The problem is that after some time, some sooner and some later, their memories begin to fade. They remember who they are but they start to think they've always lived in Hisui. They came across with the rest of the jubilife residents, or they were accepted into the clan when they were young and grew up with them. All their memories of where they came warp to suit were they are now. Ingo is one of very few that still knows he is not where he needs to be due to Emmet- he knows there is someone that looks like him that is supposed to be with him, but he is not here. He keeps a hold of his coat and hat because they help remind him to remember something.
Rolling around in my head that, for some reason, Akari is the last to fall. They get a few people a month - one time twenty different people fell at the same time, as if Almighty Sinnoh was desperate that maybe many people would succeed where one couldn't - but their memories were the fastest to flee. They managed to get a lot done, but within the month they could barely recall where they came from.
Akari falls from the rift and after she does the color changes. She's there for a month- memories in tact, no new fallers. Two months- memories in tact, no new fallers. Everyone takes a breath, thinks maybe this is it. Maybe she's The One.
And the memory loss isn't something most people in jubilife bring up. It's depressing, because these people had homes and families and now they are lost in time and memory. Rei fumbles a couple times, mentions "before, when (name) was still helping" or "before (name) forgot." and Akari asks them about the things Rei mentioned but they don't remember. And that's weird but she doesn't think anything of it at first.
Except then things start getting fuzzy. It's after she takes care of Electrode, after she's met and befriended Ingo, after everyone thought she was in the clear. She starts forgetting things. Where she was going. Who she was supposed to meet. More than once Volo has found her and returned her to a campsite, because despite him wanting desperately to meet and defeat Arceus, to be noticed by the god, there is something uncanny and uncomfortable and frightening about people he knew and genuinely cared for forgetting themselves.
Akari struggles to hold on to her memory, lasting longer than the others, but it does fade. It falls to pieces. She stops leaving the village, helping care for the pokemon in the pastures. She doesn't understand why Rei and Laventon, who have always welcomed her so warmly and been so friendly since she first arrived and apprenticed with Marie, are suddenly so sad to see her. Why they don't discuss their research with her like they used to.
And Ingo arrives one day and Akari thinks he looks like a nice person, she may have to go and chat with him. Sure the frown is a little severe but something tells her he'd be comforting...
Except then he walks over to her, greets her, and asks why she hasn't been by for so long. And she's confused, because sure she has her Typhlosion (that she can't remember training) and a lot of the pokemon in the pasture are very affectionate towards her, but she's never been out of Jubilife village. It's scary out there! Wild pokemon are dangerous! (Even though her partner could easily one-shot many of them...)
And it's Ingo who realizes something is incredibly wrong. Because he remembers Akari, how excited she was to learn more about pokemon, how she loved getting rides from Sneasler and Wyrdeer over the highlands, how she delighted in making Melli feel bad for bullying her.
And Ingo realizes she's not the first to stop showing up in the highlands, he just wasn't as attached to anyone else. There are faces he recognizes in the village, faces of people who - at one point - were filling the Pokedex, were exploring the territory, were helping the nobles. Akari was not the first, he just wasn't close enough to any of the others to take notice that their disappearance from the Highlands wasn't retirement or injury, it was something worse.
And he excuses himself, heads back home, and stares at himself in the mirror, because something is off. Something has always been off but now he knows. now there is proof. And he tries to think about who he might be, why he knows something he is pretty certain he shouldn't. And decides the best vourse of action, to figure out what's going on, is to stop sitting around as a warden. He's going to calm the last noble. He's going to figure this out so whatever has happened will stop and people can go back home.

I had this scenario on my mind but I don't know how to translate it but- The Twins and Warden Ingo (separate) with a reader that comes off as creepy but in actuality, they're really normal and funny to be around once you get past their creepy appearance. Like, they're not outcasts or anything it's just that people find it hard to approach them because of how off-putting they look.
Submas x Spooky Reader | Warden Ingo x Spooky Reader
The twins had a concerning message at two different points of the day. There was a strange man muttering to himself, riding the morning train and evening train. It was worrying people, the way he was talking so you were unfortunately reported twice. The first time, you weren't caught, by the time the report was made you already left the station but you were caught on surveillance. When the second report came out, both twins were already aware of who you are and what you looked like.
When you were on your evening train, the one you take back home, you were approached by Ingo. He made note of your slightly disheveled appearance, your unkempt hair, your untied shoelaces, and a strange stain on your shirt. He had heard you mumbling when he entered the train and began to ask you questions. You look at him with wide eyes, starting back and forth to your appearance and to him and immediately apologize, speaking in a louder tone for him to hear you. It wasn't your fault! You worked with young children for a summer program that was basically summer school without a harsher curriculum that would encourage brain development with various activities. Today the children were painting and one of the students spilled their paint cup on you, leaving a red and brown stain on your white shirt. You immediately showed Ingo your work i.d. card to prove that you worked with the company and he looked it up. Now it was his turn to apologize! When Emmet reaches up with you two at the next station, Emmet catches up to speed but does ask why you were mumbling. Your eyes widen and you immediately get flustered by you try your best to explain. You have a Pokemon hiding in your shadow, they're so withdrawn that they hide constantly unless you're at home. This intrigues the twins as they come up with a guessing game to try and figure out what Pokemon it could be. The evening train is much more pleasant with another human to talk to and the three of you eagerly chat away until you reach your home, everyone looking forward to tomorrow. ~~ You were an interesting person in Hisui, having fallen from the sky. It wasn't exactly clear when you got here but you fortunately found yourself working for the Galaxy Expedition Team as a Security Officer. You protected the gates of Jubilife Village, ensuring the safety of everyone but people thought of you as an odd person. Though you were nice and a strong trainer, you were often seen mumbling to yourself. People would try to catch you, to see who you were talking to, but rumors began to speculate you were speaking with ghosts, former villagers of the town. Warden Ingo is eventually introduced to Jubilife Village when he assists the Hero of Hisui with their quest and makes a permanent home there. He offers you a battle to which you agree but he gets confused when you have 6 pokeballs but only 5 pokemon to battle with. You tell him it's a secret. Then one day, while the two of you were enjoying a nice meal, a drunk sailor, one of the merchant traders try to interrupt you. Calling you cruel names, you and Ingo get up to leave, deciding to go talk at the beach when this stranger continues to follow you. He almost gets into an altercation with you when suddenly, your shadow materializes and knocks him off his feet. The man then runs away, screaming that you were a demon. Ingo stares at you, wide eyed but he trusts you, "May I ask what that was?" he asks politely. You bite your bottom lip and pinch your fingertips, you trust him and hope that your pokemon did too. You glance around your surroundings first to make sure no one is near before you whisper out a name... Your shadow then materializes once again but takes on the form of the Pokemon: Darkrai, the nightmare pokemon. Ingo stares in shock as he quietly approaches, "Is he your secret 6th?" "Yes, he um...I found him a long time ago. Running away from hunters. I knew about his abilities and told him to hide in my shadow. Since then, he's always been with me. He's my friend." Ingo hums thoughtfully before nodding his head, giving Darkrai a small smile. "I must thank you for what you did, you were protecting us." Darkrai lets out a low grumble and nods his head as well before slinking away back into your shadow. "Well that explains your peculiar charms of talking to your shadow," he says with a light chuckle. "I will keep this a secret, but I would love it if you entertained the idea of us battling with them as well." You sigh relieved, feeling like the night couldn't be any safer.

Last pic of the three of the Subway Boss Family is cute! Quick question, does Akari call them Uncles, or one dad or both her dads? Or does she have different nicknames for both of them?
Short answer; Ingo is 'dad' and Emmet is 'uncle' but she considers both terms to be pretty much interchangeable and is very confused when others don't. Ingo is the one who legally adopts her and Emmet is officially her uncle. That being said both take pretty much the same amount of responsibility in for her.
Long answer; Fic upon ye
It took months before Akari felt truly safe enough to let her new guardians out of sight for very long. Emmet and Ingo didn't blame her. Having been abandoned once was already traumatic for such a small child. She would throw tantrums when left unattended, even if only for the night while they slept in rooms adjacent. Eventually, they conceded and took turns having the second-hand crib (donated by a colleague whose children had outgrown it) in their rooms lest the neighbors start to worry. For one with such small lungs, she could scream very loudly.
At least on that front, she could have really been Ingo's daughter.
That was what they had eventually decided on when almost a year had passed and they realised they couldn't give her away. The intention had been to only foster her until her absentee parents were found. She had somehow become separated from them on their watch, and as such, it was their duty to ensure the safety of their young passenger. But there had been no progress. So they asked to keep her.
Ingo was more eloquent, so both brothers agreed it would be easier for him to argue their case. He became a dad, and Emmet an uncle.
Akari didn't refer to either as such.
Her Galarian was poor. Not unsurprising with her age and seeming newness to Unova. Instead she bestowed on both sloppily pronounced titles they didn't understand the meaning of. It was hard to interpret what she wanted at times, but she seemed content. She was happy and healthy and that was all that mattered.
Ingo and Emmet weren't sure she fully comprehended what adoption meant. The social worker had explained in her language, but she was still very small. Regardless, she became more confident with time. She stopped trailing them like a caboose and became more willing to be left to her own devices so long as at least one brother remained in the apartment. Her separation anxiety improved until finally it seemed worthwhile to chance finding her a place in the preschool downtown, close to the station, so that hopefully they could return to work as normal.
The first day she was left at the school it was hard to tell whether guardians or child was more nervous. Ingo and Emmet got very little work done that day.
"What if the other children treat her poorly?"
"She is upset. She hates us for leaving her."
"It is very difficult to make friends, she doesn't speak the same language, they might be mean to her."
"We left her. Like her old parents."
After spending the last hour of their shift in the office, staring at the clock and making very little progress on actual paperwork, they finally broke and left to pick Akari up.
But Akari was not upset.
She bounded up to them happily, chattering away incomprehensibly with the odd word here and there in understandable Galarian. Emmet nodded along, hiding any confusion behind the usual smile. The girl grabbed at Ingo's gloved hand—her own small enough to only close around a finger—and tugged. He obliged and hunched down to her eye level only to immediately have a paper shoved in his face. It was a drawing of three stick figures on a printed out page with cheery bubble letters reading 'family' in one corner. Apparently; the product of today's work.
The girl continued babbling away, the few parts he understood being adjectives describing her day. She then beamed proudly, pointing at each of the other parents in the process of collecting their children. As if explaining a difficult concept, she began to recite as she pointed:
"Mom, dad! Mom, dad! Mom, dad!"
"Moms and dads! Yes, excellent! Bravo!" Ingo praised, patting her head gently. She looked back at him happily before her face scrunched up in confusion. Slowly she raised her hand again, pointing right at Ingo's face making him go cross eyed as he tried to look at the tiny finger inches from his nose.
"Dad."
Ingo froze. His mouth fell open as he floundered to respond. She continued, pointing at Emmet.
"Mom."
Ingo broke out of his startled silence. Emmet's mouth fell open, his face going red. It was enough to make Ingo burst out laughing. He took the small child by the shoulders and pulled her into a hug while Emmet sputtered in the background.
"No, Emmet is 'uncle'. No mom, yes dad." He shook his head fondly, tilting his hat down to hide the tears building in his eyes. "Yes dad. Moms are girls."
He could practically see the gears turning behind her bright slate eyes as she struggled to comprehend the meaning.
"Moms girls…" She bit her thumb, before brightening. "Elesa!"
Ingo broke down laughing, joyful tears shining in his eyes.
Just wait until Elesa heard that one.

Counting shoulders is such a smooth move! Can I ask what you would think of Ingo and Emmet with a S/o who likes to just fluster them with sweetness.
Thanks! I pull it on any and everybody, and they always laugh, lolol. It's fun <3
🍓🍓🍓
Ingo:
"Hey, handsome." You greet your boyfriend. Ingo glances up from his book, eyes sparkling when they meet yours. You almost feel bad for what's about to transpire. Almost. "Is this seat taken?"
You point to his lap. Ingo follows your point, gears turning in his head, then snaps his gaze back up to you. The pink to his cheeks makes you giggle.
"Er," Ingo clears his throat, then shakes his head, "no. Not for you." He moves his book so you can happily settle into his lap, then wraps his arms around your waist. He kisses your forehead. "Hello, my love."
"What's it like?" You ask him. He's not sure what you mean, his brows furrowing with his confusion. You snuggle closer to his chest. "Being the most beautiful person in the world? You must've had your license revoked for driving all the girls crazy."
Ingo squeaks your name, blush spreading up to his ears. He reaches to tug his cap over his eyes, but he's not wearing it, so he settles for hiding his face with his hand. "M-my dear! Please!"
You snicker. "Aw, come on, Ingo. It's a valid question!"
Ingo grumbles, setting his book aside. There's no chance that he's going to be able to focus on it now. He hugs you instead, burying his face in your neck with a sigh. "I don't particularly care what anyone else thinks. Yours is the only opinion that matters."
You giggle, running a hand through his hair. "Then I'll ask again: what's it like, being the most beautiful person in the world?"
A smile blooms against your neck. "I would have to refer to my partner for an answer to that." The smile grows larger as you guffaw and pepper his head in kisses. Yes, you truly are the most beautiful thing in this world.
Emmet:
"My darrrrrrling!" Emmet sings, bursting into your shared apartment. He grins at the quick thuds of your footsteps, dropping his briefcase and opening his arms up for your flung embrace. He swings you side to side, happily breathing you in. "I'm home!"
"You're back." You sigh, and his heart skips a beat, hearing you so content. Emmet sets you down for his 'welcome home' kiss, then lets you drag him over to the living room couch. The smell of the takeout you ordered hits him, and he sighs happily. "I got us your favorite."
"I love you." Emmet says, matter o' fact, as you both sit down. You don't grab the food, though, instead you slide into his lap and pepper his face in kisses. "Heheh, my cute darling."
"My handsome husband." You coo, moving to his jaw. Emmet's grin just widens further. "My strong, hardworking breadwinner. The best damn trainer in the region. My love, my everything."
Emmet melts into the back of the couch, cooing. "Honey!~"
"Did you know," you whisper to him, pressed into his side, "that you are the love of my life? The reason I get up in the morning?" Emmet mumbles something you can't hear, sounding lovestruck. Good. "Did you know that you are the most handsome man in existence?"
"Please." Emmet murmurs. Your nose brushes his cheek, feeling how hot it is. You can see the red flush on the tip of his ear too, deepening when you blow on it. He giggles, tensing at the possible tickle attack.
"You're also a wonderful Pokémon dad." You continue. "And all your Pokémon adore you, almost as much as I do."
Emmet groans, overheated from your praise. It's going to be a long night.
🍓🍓🍓
I would praise the boys until the cows come home. Count shoulders and give them the smolder. lolol
Have a great night, love!

So in the beegear station au. What would happen if the royal/queen/mate would to get sick like the flue nothing serious but I assume the hive would have a panic.
- Awkward Anon
I got you bro one sick trope handcannon with a side of fluff coming right up
Bee gearstation au
Royal is sick! Operation Beetox
The gnawing pain in your stomach was the first thing that woke you up, tossing and turning in the silk sheets. And even the soft exotic material made for the sheets and your Royal bed made you uncomfortable. The pheromones emitting from you were bitter, signifying that you were in danger.
Your door bursts open, frightening you upright. The Kings and several guards storm into your chamber, the antennas and wings twitching and flicking in panic. The bees we're confused you didn't seem to be in any physical danger. But you can never be too safe Ingo ordered the guards to wait outside as they check what is wrong with you. A bitter pheromone is not an easy one to get only appearing when a queen is frightened for their life or in Danger. Even with the help of the Royal Honey a bitter pheromone is something you can't do on your own as a human.
" Is something wrong my leige? You appear to be in distress." Ingo says kneeling on right side of your bed. " Ingo, Emmet I don't feel well, I don't think I can do my duties today"
Emmet hums, moving you to face him. He puts his forehead to yours feeling your temperature. That's not usually how humans check their temperature, but you're not going to press on that...
" They're burning brother, just like in the books about humans. The day has finally come the unseen threat on our Majesty is upon us!"
... they're acting like you're going to die...
Ingo grits his teeth " you must rest for however long it takes. We will take care of everything. We will tell the drones immediately; anything you want, my love, I shall send a personal drone to take care of you. If there's anything you need, ask him, and the drones will bend to his word as if it's your own."
Not knowing about human sickness, the drones are terrified. They wait and work with anxiety. If it weren't for your personal caretaker drone telling them that " Their Majesty says they wish to be alone and rest," they wouldn't be flooding your front door with gift baskets.
Sickness is when a human is at their most vulnerable state that the Kings know your chamber must be patrolled by guards every waking hour. And those guards are willing to protect you with their lives like your guard dogs. They growl at every little threat that comes close to your Chambers. They ate at the idea of how much pain you're in right now and hoped for your speedy recovery.
The kings work hard for you in the name they're Majesty, occasionally coming in with water and or light Foods with a book on humans in hand. Alas they're selfish desires of holding you close and kissing you will have to take a back seat.
On their breaks, they come and visit Ingo holding your hand and asking about your day and if you're feeling better. Emmet is pouting because he wants to kiss you and letting on about how kind you are when you say that you want to kiss him too. You pucker your lips waiting for your dear King to give you love. Only for Emmet to put his finger on your lips" Oh darling, I'm Emmet and you know I can't. You're sick, and you have to recover."
He Chuckles when you pout mumbling about "that's not how humans work" and you can still kiss him.
For breakfast, your personal drone brings you a plate of freshly cut soft fruits, some water, and scrambled eggs with wild rice.
Oh the poor cheif who made this and Emmet was probably breathing down his neck making sure the meal was perfect.
( but in reality, it was the chef breathing down and its neck because Emmet wanted to make it for you.
Your personal drone is the only one in the room with you. His sweet eyes filled with innocence and wonder...he's kind of cute. "Leif..." your throat was sore and scratchy as you weekly called out for him. He goes over to your head, resting on his hands while he's on the right side of your bed. His soft voice pleasing to your ears," yes, my love~" "anything you want, I shall get you."
"Please get me to the bathroom" your stomach turned, your last meal threatening to come back up, leaves eyes wide, his heart pumping. "Yes! Your Majesty!" He says a little loudly that he wants it to be. He helps you out of your bed. He rubbed your back while he escorted you to your royal bathroom. You close the door behind him, and he sits down like a whimpering puppy waiting for his master to come back out.
Emmet and the chef were yelling and freaking out that your last meal didn't sit right in your stomach. A healthy meal fit for a sick Majesty was voided, null, nothing.
Leif knocked and slowly opened the double doors to the kitchen. A shining hope, a beacon, or maybe a disaster.
.. oh no! is their majesty upset? Do they think that the food we gave them was poisoned?
Emmet was asking Leif while he was shaking him. "N-no," Leif manages to get out as the king carefully puts him down. "Their highness said they wanted a Can of 7up from the old vending machines we recently fixed and restocked"
The chef sulked in the corner defeated he was.... defeated... by a mere can of soda
Whatever this mystical Elixir was, it fought back against the terrible virus enough as you ate a delicious light lunch. Ingo and Emmet couldn't believe their eyes.... humans are truly mysterious creatures.
Later that evening, Leif was sent to the scout's barracks with a list of things for them to forge for and approved by the hive's scientist to make some kind of cold medicine.
Today was a hectic day, to be honest. All you wanted was some peace, but you're not mad at your Bees. They're trying. All they want is to take care of you. This was their first time seeing a human illness.

I had a dream about the Demon Submas brothers seeing their Darling with bruises or even a split lip or something, from one of the few times they were too distracted by something else to be actively watching her- like perhaps a "problem" they had to deal with, like Elesa saw that one time.
They're freaking out, furious that something had DARED to harm their Darling, she seems so tired too! When she speaks her voice cracks and is hoarse, like she'd been screaming her lungs out! What an ordeal she must have gone through! Ingo is the one who can keep it together well enough to be able to ask her what happened...
And this is how they find out Darling is a closet metalhead who can and will go ballistic in a good mosh pit and thinks a great time consists of getting absolutely bodied in one of those things where two walls of people charge at each other and collide in the middle. Where being picked up and put on a stranger's shoulders to fist-fight someone else in the middle of the mosh is a Good Time.
Like, there's Darling just sitting there with a cup of tea and dressed modestly like you'd expect her wild nights to be visiting the library or getting a cup of coffee, and she's just casually saying "Oh, yeah, I had tickets to a death metal concert. Sodomy Lobotomy's gigs are always crazy, I think I broke a few ribs at one I went to last year. Good times!"
The brothers were so, so confused, relieved and concerned all at once.
This is hilarious to me Anon; I don't personally listen to heavy metal or anything (Metal gives me the anxiety) But like...
It's moshin' time

They were distraught.
For one night- For one, singular night-
They had had to take their eyes off of you. Another Eldritch Demon was getting a little too close for their comfort, evidently snooping around as to why the great Kudari and Nobori had suddenly decided to abandon their abode and dwell among mere mortal humans-
It needed to be dealt with, of course- Aaand it may've taken a fair bit more time and effort than they'd originally intended to take- But no matter! Gear Station was safe, as were you- And no one was any wiser. They returned to their abode, ensuring you were okay; And you were. It was the early morning hours and you'd be getting up soon, so they prepared for your arrival at Gear Station instead! Happy to greet their beloved little soulmate, to talk to you, to hear you speak to them...!
Ingo was particularly happy- It was, after all, him who finally managed to kill their bastard nosy neighbor before it would manage to tear apart the fabric of time and space in this reality. If you'd known, you'd be hugging him tightly and thanking him, wouldn't you? He closed his eyes as his mind drifted to fluffy daydreams- Humans could be very cute worrying over little things. Would you fret and fawn over him and Emmet if you'd known they'd been in a life or death battle just a few hours ago? Kissing his face, asking if he was wounded, asking if he wanted to hold you, anything to make him feel better- Maybe you'd bring in some sweet or something for the Depot Agents that he could steal a taste of.
Yes, you'd be very sweet for him- Emmet was thinking similar thoughts, though he intended to act a little on them- You wouldn't mind if he hugged you a little more than usual today, would you? Of course not, of course not! And if he told you of how he'd nearly gotten electrocuted on the train tracks, maybe you'd fret over him- You were so cute when you worried over him, paying attention to him-!
Until you did arrive at Gear Station.
Agent Ramses was your supervising agent today, which... would be interesting. Ramses was not one for liking to supervise anyone or anything; He was much more an engineer than a baby sitter, and you were... quite a baby to him, the way his bosses coddled you. It didn't matter to him that you were their precious soul-whatever, just that you could do your work well! He'd be shoving you off onto Jackie, or maybe even making you do inspection work with the Bosses themselves- Yeah, that could work- As quickly as possible. Just anything to get you out of his hair for the day-
"M-morning, sir." You remarked weakly, raising your hand in a salute.
Ramses looked over you, feeling his blood turn cold and his stomach drop.
Your face-
You had tried to cover it with makeup, but there was a strange cut on your cheek- Not to mention your busted up lip. And your voice. He was used to hearing it much louder- and much more chipper. Your arm quivered as you held it up, and you dropped it much quicker than normally; Evidently hurting to raise it even as much as you had to for the salute.
"Good morning, Miss- You feeling alright this morning?"
"Eh, a little tired- But otherwise- g-good!" You smiled weakly. "A-Am I to report to the Bosses this morning?"
"Of course, But-"
"Alright, I'll be right, b-back!" You waved and walked away fast- Faster than Ramses could stop you.
"What's the matter, Ramses? You look as pale as Lord Emmet's coat."
Ramses turned to Jackie, who'd just walked up- Evidently expecting that he'd want to get you off his back as soon as possible. Though Jackie did not like the expression written on his coworker's face-
"Their- The Bosses'- uh, that- that girl-" He stuttered out, evidently at a loss for words-
"Slow down there, Ramses- What's wrong with the Lady?"
"She's-She's been injured, Jack."
And Jackie adopted the same horrified expression that Ramses' face portrayed.
Oh no.
Well, the Depot Agents would certainly pity- Or well, probably not- the fool who'd touched you.
Emmet and Ingo were blissfully unaware of any problem- They were simply eagerly awaiting your arrival. Emmet reacted first when he heard the door swing open, practically jumping up from his desk to greet you; His cute, sweet little love-!
Until he got a better look at your face.
The smile Emmet wore faltered, and his eyes went wide as he looked at you closely.
"G-good morning-! Er, Sir?" You remarked, cursing yourself silently- Your voice was still so strained and hoarse... Noticing how Emmet's face fell- He looked like he'd seen a ghost, for goodness' sake. Surely you didn't look that bad, right?
...What had happened to you, Emmet thought? Your precious, beautiful face- a cut there, your lip red and swollen slightly- And your voice sounding like-
Who had done such a thing to you? Who would dare touch you-
Emmet felt his blood boil- Or at least, what could be considered his blood. The scum that had touched you- The absolute filth- He would raze Unova if he had to to find the bastard- The thoughts running through his mind turning to darker and darker violence- Whom would he have to kill- No no, killing was too light a punishment-
You weren't exactly sure what Emmet was suddenly thinking- the way his expression went from shocked to sad to- something dark. It was difficult to place it, but suddenly you felt rather scared.
Ingo wasn't much better off, but luckily, he'd moved behind you- The shadow cast on his face from his cap darkened impossibly so, shadowing his face- His eyes glaring out with a silver light, leering at you painfully. Who- Who had dared to hurt you-?
He needed to find out immediately.
"Oh dear, are you alright?" He asked, trying to maintain his calm-
"O-Oh, I'm f- fine, S-sir..." You tried to speak, but your voice was still hoarse and you were evidently trying to hide something from them- Why were you having so much difficulty speaking? You sounded like you'd been screaming your lungs out...
Had your attacker driven you to such terror, Emmet wondered?
It nearly broke Ingo's heart- His shadows coiled under your shirt, around your arms and legs- Feeling your injuries- Was that a broken rib?! And not only that, you were trying to hide it from them- Why? Why? Did you not trust them? Did you think they'd be angry at you? No, no, no no no!
All thoughts of your comfort were out of their mind- You evidently needed comforting, far more than they did, fragile little human that you were- Who had nearly killed you? Who'd hurt you? Who must they obliterate for you?
Emmet felt something strange pricking at his eyes- His vision growing bleary with tears. Of course he would cry- His beloved little Darling Soulmate, precious and sweet and wonderful and innocent and cute and everything else-
Had nearly died while they had been trying to protect you.
What sort of eldritch-whatever-they-are were they if they had failed in their one, sworn duty? To protect you? What would be left if they returned to Nimbasa, only to be greeted by you in an emergency room or worse, already dead? They'd spent so long seeking you out- They'd have to return to the void, waiting for any glimmer into where your soul had ended up next, or even worse, another Eldritch Demon could've gotten to you-
No, absolutely not.
They would simply have to increase their security around you. More protection, they'd have their servitors tail you even outside the station- Why had they not assigned them to guard you while they were gone? They'd assumed the protective charms around Gear Station and around your apartment would be more than enough!
How stupid of them.
Never again.
"D-Dear," Ingo began as he turned to face you, his voice notably darker- Low toned and intensely serious, as he looked you over. "Who- How did you get that injury on your face?"
You smiled sheepishly- Was that what they were worried about? Granted, you'd tried to cover up your bruises- But you couldn't exactly hide all of your injuries. They'd probably reprimand you for putting yourself in danger- But it's not like it'd impede your work! Well actually, what you'd been doing last night would have impeded your work- But Jackie had refused your request for time off today, and so in you came; Though you were in a lot of pain, it was your own darn fault.
"Well, Sir... It's nothing much, I was just, uh-" You adjusted the cap on your head, a blush of embarrassment spreading across your face as your two bosses leaned ever closer to you. "I was at a... uh, rock concert."
"A- A concert?"
Emmet closed his eyes for a second.
"There were no rock concerts happening last night." He suddenly said- You flinched. Could he not just- accept the little white lie? You were at a concert, but- You weren't going to admit just what band you'd actually gone to see!
"No, no- I- did go to see a concert last night, it was a music concert! It uh, the band wasn't actually rock though, it was uh, something else."
"What something else?" Emmet asked- His smile bright- His eyes seeming to almost sparkle in the light of the office. You stared back at him.
Maybe, you thought- You can tell them the truth.
Yes. That sounded like a good idea, suddenly.
You reached in your pocket and handed Ingo a small piece of paper- For a... rock concert?
Ingo stared at it in confusion, a new look of concern dawning on his face.
"S-Sodomy... Lobotomy?" He remarked, his voice dripping with anxious bewilderment. He knew what those words meant- What they meant in combination he couldn't even begin to imagine, and the imagery in the background of the ticket reminded him of several Eldritch demons he'd seen before- Weaker ones, of course, but- Why on Earth did you have... whatever this was?
"Well, Sir... I... actually really like their music, and they were performing last night, so I decided to splurge and go out to hear 'em! It's uh-"
"How did going to a music concert result in you being hurt? Did someone attack you at the concert?"
You couldn't help it- Even with your bruised stomach and back, you started laughing. "Yeah Sir, someone did attack me at the concert- The entire crowd!"
Now it was Emmet's turn to be concerned. "You- You mean, the entire crowd at a music concert tried to fight you, and you managed to get away with only those injuries? Why did they try to fight you?"
"I mean I was in the mosh pit, Sir!" You looked at him curiously- Had your bosses never heard of a mosh pit...?
Both of them tilted their heads at your words. Evidently not.
"Oh, it was craaaazy last night. Some guy picked me up and I got thrown head first into this crazy lady and we started punching each other. But yea, she ended up cutting my lip before her... girlfriend? I dunno, this like- six and a half foot tall woman who- lemme tell you, she was built like a machamp, grabbed me and threw me back into someone else's arms and then-"
And the two sat horrified, enraptured, and disturbed by your stories of the "mosh pit" you'd willingly entered last night to duke it out with strangers while listening to... "music"? You'd even managed to break bones at previous concerts! How terrible- And you'd attended these events multiple times??
They demanded to hear what the "music" sounded like- And you sheepishly pulled up a song on your X-transceiver to play, expecting your bosses' opinion of you to immediately tank into the drain. But Emmet and Ingo didn't seem to dislike it, or even really- flinch at the songs? The content of what lyrics they could discern sounded horrific- but otherwise, it just sounded like the noises their neighbor was making while they stomped them into the primordial void of non-existence- Set to some sick drum riffs. No wonder it incited such violence in humans.
You lit up the moment your bosses began remarking that it didn't sound bad- But they were still so very concerned about your injuries! You did not need to be working today- You needed to be resting! Bruised and battered- Gear Station had no need for you collapsing or worse during your work day!
And not only that, but you liked going to such things...?
That wouldn't suffice. If you enjoyed them, sure- But they could not tolerate you being injured the way you were! The two would simply have to accompany you the next time you attended such a concert- Protecting you and watching over you! And beating the crap out of anyone who might try to hurt you-
"If you two want to go to one, you can- But I'll have to teach you some etiquette for it- It'd be a shame if you two got injured or something worse." Emmet bit his lip- It didn't matter if it was a mosh pit of two people or the entirety of Unova, no amount of people in the pit of moshing would be able to injure him! Though- The idea of you fretting over him was sweet... Trapped in his arms as he valiantly protected you from any idiots who would think they'd have the right to deck you!
"So we may accompany you the next time you attend such an event?" Ingo asked, offering you some tea. The two had forced you to sit down on the sofa they had in their office, and were practically refusing to let you up again. It was silly, you thought- Treating you like a fragile little Swaddle!
But either way- That sounded strangely- Nice. Your bosses were usually so reserved, refusing any invitations to go out, and you almost never saw them outside of Gear Station doing anything for themselves- Enigmatic, mysterious- It might be nice to get to know them outside of work a bit more! And if they liked moshing, if they liked death metal- Well, having friends in the pit was always a good thing! "Of course! I'll let you guys know the next time I go to a concert, if you can make it."
"Of course. But for now- You need to rest. I would prefer if you stayed until someone was able to accompany you back home..." Ingo remarked, suddenly lost in thought. You scoffed at his worry- You were more than capable of handling yourself-!
And you tried to get back up, stumbling as you stood up- The room reeled around you, and you collapsed back down on the couch- Looking up at Ingo, who- Looked odd, though you could not place why- He bent down to you, His eyes meeting yours intently. His silver, shining, eyes.
"Since you're injured... and not feeling well, stay here. We'll escort you to your destination once our work is complete." Ingo stated as he grabbed you gently, laying you back down on the couch- The last half of his statement... was more a fact? Than a suggestion or an offer... Your eyes closed heavily, suddenly overcome by a terrible urge to sleep.
Maybe you'd been more tired than you'd thought, after the night at a concert... And you immediately closed your eyes, deep asleep again. Ingo sighed heavily, moving to position you comfortably on the couch.
They were far too nervous to allow you to wander about on your own right now. Their own senses heightened in fear and possessiveness as Ingo sat down and rested your head on his lap, bringing his hand down onto your shoulder and stroking mindlessly as his shadows coiled around you tightly. Emmet whined in annoyance, wanting to do the same. A feathery-tendril emerged from the sleeve of his coat, whisking over your face- and making the painful cut on your lip heal over.
Their little soulmate; Precious, small, and most importantly, safe. In their arms. Also apparently insane, and, enjoys becoming battered and bruised. Not good, they noted- But they would just have to keep you safe. Their little soulmate. Theirs. All theirs. Ingo squeezed your shoulder harder than he'd been doing, and Emmet grabbed at your hand, a soft light coming from him- Healing your injuries.
You could attend such events for now; But to allow yourself to be hurt? No. Absolutely not. You wouldn't even notice anymore that your body wasn't sore, or your voice didn't hurt. They could muddle your memory that much as they healed you. And kept you safe, secure, and by their sides.

Hi, I love your blog and all that you do :), and I have been intrigued by your conjoined submas au ^^.
However, I would be unable to read ABYS, due to the gore and medical descriptions (I might look to read the first few chapters, and then stop right before they get separated) so for now I'm just enjoying art where they're together haha
but I am still curious at how Emmet managed to survive (since i accidentally saw an illustration of the moment when a depot agent discovers Emmet after Giratina sends Ingo to Hisui, so I was like " ??? Did thry scoop him up?? How did thry get him to the hospital?? And once there, did they sew him up ??") and how will he have to live now ^^"' Like, does he have to live on wires and tubes now ? Will he be able to move in the future (like, on a wheelchair or with the help of something else maybe ?)
Sorry for asking, I'm just a bit confused since I know practically nothing about the subject, I don't want to clog your asks/blog, since those questions get/will be answered in your fic, so you don't have to answer ^^"'
Hi! Thanks for the interest, despite all the warnings and whatnot. I hope my tagging had helped you to avoid anything you don't want to see! I also apologize my fic isn't accessible to you. The first 3 chapters are free of any content warnings, so if you check those out, enjoy! I think once I finally finish up the medical sections I'll post a recap so people can skip those chapters if they want.
Basically, how emmet survived was that he was found by the depot agents mere minutes after Ingo was taken. Cloud had her audino use a healing move to stop the bleeding as much as it could, then an ambulance took him to the hospital.
He is currently a permanent resident of the hospital. He needs a lot of various life support machines to do the jobs of the body parts he's missing. I don't thiiiiiink I can go into more detail without getting more medical lol
Currently he's not able to get around, but in the future who knows? I can't spoil that yet but I wouldn't consider it a happy ending if he could never leave the hospital and see his more dangerous Pokémon and trains ever again, so he's getting out of there somehow! I just can't share yet lol
Never apologize for asking! I love talking about my AU, even what's already in the fic, and I genuinely appreciate your interest. Feel free to ask any other questions!

ive been marinating this idea in my head for a week and now i must request: ingo, emmet, larry, and cyrus (all separately ofc) when their beloved is hopped up on anasthesia after a surgery and when s/o finally awakens the poor thing temporarily doesn't remember who the stunningly handsome man at their bedside is but they sure don't mind when they get kissed by him... (bonus funny: confusing the twins for one another. hope emmet doesnt get too jealous...) its all the anathesia tropes in one lol
I can finally return to this after having gone under anesthesia and recovered from it....
cw: nondescript surgery mentions, temporary memory loss, confusion, fluff,
characters: Ingo, Emmet, Cyrus, Larry
The procedure went well to your poor boyfriend's (and your own) relief. He had stayed for the entire length, simply far too worried and ready to act as your medical advisor for anything that may arise. Thankfully, nothing had, and it had entirely gone to plan. Now, you were still under the effects of the general anaesthesia and thus unconscious. However, you had been otherwise cleared, and he was able to come in and wait for you to regain consciousness. Naturally, he did.
Sitting at your bedside, he quietly did things to pass the time until you began to awaken. He was a bit distressed to see you in such a condition, yet was happy that you had made it through everything so well. Everything moved slowly until… you began to stir. He put down whatever he had been using to distract himself to focus on you. Your eyes opened, and you sat up weakly. Blinking, you met his gaze. Something about your general behaviour told him that you were not entirely back to normal…
Still, he leaned forward to press a kiss to your forehead and grasp your hand.
● “… Emmet?” you asked, bewildered to see him at your bedside. Ingo blinked at your words and opened his mouth to speak. That was not an uncommon thing he heard, but it felt strange coming from you. “Emmet… Why are you here…?” you held on to his hand tightly, “… You kissed me, too…” Ingo felt somewhere between chuckling and losing his mind. He certainly hoped you were not letting Emmet randomly kiss you, but he supposed it was the anaesthesia causing your brain to not think logically.
▲Ingo▼
● “Emmy…” you called out to him again, “Your clothes are weird today…” Your hand began to play with his sweaters' sleeve. He sighed. You definitely were not in your right mind. “… I like you, Emmy, I really do,” you suddenly continued and looked a little embarrassed, “You're really cute, but… I love Ingo, you know? He's so sweet… A real gentleman…” Your gushing made his eyes go wide. His chest fluttered. Gentleman…? “Oh, don't tell him…”
● “… Dearest,” he mumbled, holding your hand again, “… I'm Ingo.” You blinked and opened your mouth. “I love you, too,” he chuckled and pressed another kiss to the corner of your mouth. You began to laugh yourself. “Emmet might pop in later… He mentioned something about getting you a cake…” Ingo's free hand went to sweep his hair back. Would your doctor approve that? He would need to ask and stop Emmet from wasting his time if you could not… Before he could get lost more in contemplation, you reached your free arm up to pull him in. It seemed that you wanted a hug now. Who would he be not to oblige you?
○ You stared at him for a long moment extra when he pulled back. Emmet tilted his head while you grasped his hand tightly. Your eyes squinted. For a moment, the twin debated if you were unable to recognise him. Before he could begin to fret, you spoke. “… Ingo?” you questioned, “Hey, Ingo! What are you doing here…? Where is… here?” You looked around the room in confusion. Emmet felt floored. Ingo? You mistook him for his brother? He blinked. “Did you kiss me, too?” you seemed to avoid his gaze. Emmet wanted to speak, but you moved to stare at your IV, confused. His hand tightened around yours before you tried anything.
▽Emmet△
○ “You aren't wearing your normal clothes,” you instead shifted your attention back to him, “… Hey, why are you wearing a Joltik t-shirt?” The print on the front of his shirt was a Joltik chewing on a wire. It was something that you had bought for him while out shopping. His heart hurt. Did you not remember? Why did you think he was Ingo? Why would Ingo be at your side after a surgery? “I'm sorry, Ingo…” you sighed, “I'm genuinely complimented you feel that way about me, but I love Emmet… You know that, right? Emmy is so cute… I just want to cling to him all the time…” The younger twin's eyes went wide. Oh… Oh, that was verrrry adorable.
○ “Darling,” he cooed and leaned forward to peck your lips, “I am Emmet.” You gasped when he pulled away. A giggle left him. It was truly no mystery why he loved you so much. His free hand went to remove a few stray strands from your face. “You are verrrry sweet,” he continued, “Ingo said he would come later. The station needed one of us.” Emmet was truly grateful Ingo had offered to handle all of their work today so he could be by your side today. The older twin had also offered to bring food in for you both whenever he got off. You lightly tugged his arm. Right. You. He smiled at you and was ready to listen to you more.
🌌Cyrus🛰
☄️ You were silent as he pulled back. Your eyes seemed to stare right through him as you remained wordless. Worry entered his mind, but Cyrus quashed it quickly with a logical explanation. Your throat was likely parched. His eyes scanned the room for a water he had bought. Seeing it on a nearby table, he went to stand up and grab it for you. However, his actions were halted by you reaching out a hand to grab his sleeve. “… You're really handsome…” you mumbled. Cyrus nodded. That was not exactly what he expected the first words out of your mouth to be, but he could accept that nonetheless.
☄️ “… Who are you, mister?” you asked. The blue-haired man froze in his spot. The water was forgotten. What…? That question… You surely recognised him. He was your boyfriend. That felt like something impossible to forget with how often it weighed on his mind. “… You're quite a bit older than me, aren't you?” you continued. Cyrus was dumbstruck. Quite a bit… Older than you…? Were you messing with him? “You kissed me… But we don't know each other… Did you mistake me for someone?” you babbled, “I hope you didn't… I want you to be single…”
☄️ Cyrus sighed. That was quite enough of that. Clearly, the anaesthesia was altering your cognition and making you forget specific things. Fine. He was not bothered by that. Or you comment about his age. “… I am your boyfriend, so I am not single,” he explained, “My name is Cyrus… And I'm only twenty-seven, actually.” You gasped at his words. Another remark about his age was made. It was against his usual behaviour, but he leaned forward to kiss you on the lips and silence you. It working and being reciprocated calmed him. This would pass… He just needed to be patient. You gazed up at him with adoration when he pulled away. Suddenly, his confidence returned.
🍙 You squinted at him as he moved away to sit back down. His nerves tensed as he recalled the last time Geeta had given him a look like that. Larry did not understand what was going through your mind. Were you in pain? He hoped not. Though he was more than ready to call for someone if needed. You remained silent for an awkward moment. He supposed he had not said anything either. Maybe you were not sure what to say. Should he start talking? Asking you how your surgery went did not seem like an appropriate thing. Before he could open his mouth, you finally spoke, “… Hey, did I take your bed here?” Larry went still. What did that mean?
💼Larry🏢
🍙 “… This is a hospital, right, mister?” you continued, “Isn't this… like, your bed? You seem like you belong here…” There was no response to that from the salaryman. You were out of it. That much was more than obvious now. He also could not deny that there was some truth to that statement. Him falling asleep at his desk the other day was a bit concerning, certainly, but he wondered how you missed the IV in your arm. “Why am I in your room? Do I care for the elderly?” your words cut deeper each time you spoke. His trained facade was almost ready to shatter under your innocent harshness. “… You are kind of cute... In a non-traditional way, I think,” you mumbled to yourself.
🍙 You having apparently forgetting him was not the worst thing, he supposed. Larry was going to avoid thinking too much about the last words that you had spoken. Maybe a refresher would help you. He certainly did not plan on leaving your side. Geeta might make a surprise visit, and the last thing he wanted was her ire. Well, that, and he did not exactly want to leave you alone after surgery. “… I'm your partner,” he explained, “I'm Larry. We've been together for a few years now… You insisted on us dating, actually.” You nodded deeply and mumbled an acknowledgement. Somehow, this felt less exhausting than the league office. You tugged his sleeve and demanded another kiss to prove it. Now, he felt the exhaustion settling in.

Hello! I'm back with the Wasp Queen from the BeeGearStation AU. ^^
CW: AFAB Reader, yandere stuff, implicitly lewd, harassment, discussions of assault.
You are sitting in your designated room, feeling anxious and dejected. How are you going to solve this problem? You can't just run away and command your workers who are unaware of this problem to do the same. They would definitely be confused, and the Kings' drones would have the time to capture them. You may be at the same size as the Bee Kings and beating one of them im a battle would be possible, but you can't outmatch two of them at once. You need to think of other plans.
You decided to go to one of your workers' designated rooms, and tell them about the problem. You planned to tell her to get ready ìto flee with the rest of the workers. When you were nearing the door, you hear the sounds two beings moaning and other filthy sounds behind it. You blushed, and decided to go over to your other workers. Walking around the corner, you overheard two drones talking and you leaned over to hear them better. They were talking about the contract that you made with the Kings, and how they are going to have their own mates soon. It seems that those bastards of Bee Kings had told their drones about their own plans. How disgustingly rotten they are!
You walked briskly to your other workers' room, knocked briefly, and gingerly entered it after you are given permission. You are greeted by your worker, full of sweat but fully dressed, looking tired but satisfied. Next to her is one of the Kings' drone, looking similarly in condition as your worker. He jolted when he sees you, and quickly bowed to you. He then stood up straight, gave your worker nod, and dashed to the door next to you. You closed the door and took a seat near your worker to tell her about your grand plan to flee as soon as possible from this hellhole. She looked confused, and inquired about the reason of the sudden change of plan. You explained to her and she seemd to be shocked by it. You told her to keep quiet about it, and to silently tell other workers about your plan. She nodded and both of you say your goodnights.
You went back to your room to clear your mind and to plan the fastest route back to your colony's nest. When you were pondering about it, you heard a knock on your door. Before you even had the chance to say something, two figures as big as you are entered, one of their face is plastered with a sickening smile, while the other with a menacing frown. You tensed, then calmed yourself before asking them politely to state their business.
"Ah, pardon our intrusion. You don't need to be so stiff, my Queen. It's only us, your Kings." Emmet smiled widely, his smile far too wide to be considered as friendly.
"You seemed anxious, my Queen. Do you need us to fetch you something? Or do you want us to do you a favor?" Ingo nearly shouted at the end of his sentence, looking thrilled when he did so.
You cringed at both of their thinly-veiled malicious intent. Both of them are making you asphyxiate and feel trapped by their mere presence. You desperately wanted to shove both of them out of your room and then to lock the door after that. However, you hold yourself back and instead exuded aloofness to them.
You straightened your shoulders back and calmly refused their offers, then sternly requested them to leave. The Kings looked at you for a bit too long, then whispered among themselves. You were not able to catch what they are talking about, but you tried to sharpen your hearing. What you heard next sent chill down your back.
You hold her arms, and I hold her legs...
You jumped from your bed and readied yourself to a fighting stance. Years of being a Queen has made you resilient and battle-hardened. After all, becoming the Queen was not an easy task. You competed with the whole colony in various kinds of tests. The kinds that tested your strenght, resilience, intelligence, and also leadership. You are not the Queen just because of some mere Royal Jelly, you made yourself The Queen. Your workers respect you deeply for that and in return, you will do all your might to protect your colony.
The Kings seemed surprised tha you picked the physical route, but quickly composed themselves. Emmet chuckled sweetly and Ingo smiled softly upon seeing you in your fighting stance. Their minds are difficult to decipher. You do not like them at all.
"We made a good decision to choose her as our Queen, Emmet! She is strong, resilient, and also smart!" Ingo beamed.
"Yes, you are right, Ingo! Verrrry cute as well." Emmet chirped happily.
You are really confused now. Weren't they going to assault you? Did you hear them wrong? What in the world were they going on about? Is your colony going to be okay?
"My Queen, let us remind you about your duty as stated in the contract that we agreed to." Ingo firmly said as handed their copy of the contract to his brother who immediately unfolds it.
"This contract here says that you will be our Queen after you agreed to stay with us for more than a week..." Emmet skimmed past the paper. "... and you have stayed here for more than that time."
"Being a Queen is not an easy task, we are fully aware of that." Ingo stared deeply at you. "Neither is the King."
"The Queen shall and must be willing to attend to the Kings' need of reproducing, and vice versa. Unless, she wants her workers to be harmed." Emmet continued to recite the deals made in the contract with a sadistic smirk.
"Thus, if the Queen or the Kings asked for sexual favors, either party has to comply. If either party denies it, there will be consequences given to their respective drones or workers." Ingo continued to stare at you with his oddly excited expression.
"You see, Our Queen? This contract is perfectly fair for all of us. We are equal now." The twins said in unison. They are now approaching you.
All of the things they said sounded like giberrish to you. Your blood rang far too loudly within your body. You ordered them to stay back sharply. You give a hard glare to both of the deranged Kings, still keeping your fighting stance. They definitely have some screws loose. You have made a gravely mistake of intreacting with them at the first place. Now you absolutely cannot take your eyes of them.
You have to fight back for the sake of your colony.
-MintyAnon.
👀👀👀
We love yandere Kings, and we also love a Queen ready to FIGHT.
Ingo and Emmet being so mean here. They certainly weren’t holding back with those hidden clauses in the contract. Though its nice they seem to appreciate the Queen won’t just roll over and take anything they try to pull
Even though they seem to really be enjoying the power they have over you, dangling your subject’s lives in front of you like a string.

Imagine: Social Media Role Swap AU
Ingo tweeting about his cool Aunt, Emmet very confused about his new Aunt and Ingo's life.
Emmet has SO many questions. First of all. He's certain they don't have an Aunt. He asked Uncle Drayden. He definitely doesn't have any (living) sisters, so who is this Akari person??? And where the hell is Ingo???? What is with all the giant Pokemon with glowing red eyes??? Is that an extinct Pokemon variant??? WHERE IS HE AND WHY ISN'T HE RESPONDING TO ANY OF HIS DMS?
Meanwhile Ingo is just instinctively posting to twitter but Arceus has locked him out of his DMs and notifications. He's just vibing.

Ssssssigh. I don’t think I will ever be able to talk about shit like this off anon even tough I have accepting friends I’m just shyyyyy, but I need to babble of how the idea of shipcest reader insert blankshipping is consuming me. Y/N as the third sibling to the twins, wether they actually are a younger /older sibling or a “fun fact: the subway masters are actually triplets and have a non identical sibling” kind of deal, I am currently just smitten with the idea of Y/N that is actually related to them. The twins themself share a special bond that borders on twin thelepathy and it can make one feel like they are being left out, but they love the heck out if their non identical sibling as well. Bonus points for Y/N and Emmet actually hooking up first, Ingo knowing, but pointedly ignoring it / feeling guilty because in his confused mind he feels directly responsible for this, like his disgusting thoughts somehow seeped over to them. Which in turn both of his younger siblings to team up and try to get their Nii-San to join them, he deserves all their love as well. Come on Ingo don’t derail this three car train, we were both perfectly depraved even without you “corrupting us”, but if our darling big brother is just as perverted as we are there is no need to hide it from us no? Maybe we should give him some gentle but firm encouragement, make out a bit n in front of him, show him what he’s missing, call out for him when we kiss so he just knows how much his siblings want him to join?
notes: incest
i'm glad that despite your shyness, this blog could be a place for you to share your thoughts :D!! ingo and emmet incest stuff will forever hold a special place in my heart, so im always happy to write about it HAHA
I've always really liked the idea of Reader being a younger sibling of them! And the whole twin telepathy thing, you've hit the nail right on the head for me as well… I always kind of like the internal conflict of sibling!Reader seeing how close they are, how they can seemingly understand each other without words, and how they wish that they could have something like that for themselves… But knowing that it's not something achievable. Because while Ingo and Emmet understand you better than most people, it's still not the same.
Perhaps this desire for closeness got twisted somewhere along the way, and that's how everything ended up like this. You felt desire for, and later, a feeling of satisfaction in sharing something with Emmet that he didn't with Ingo, as far as you knew, at least.
Still, it probably happened in some kind of drunken state of mind, because to make the first move on your brother takes a special kind of courage. I think that Emmet would very enthusiastically reciprocate, honestly. With this kind of dynamic, I really enjoy the idea that they've all just been secretly pining for each other for years.
Ingo is the one who has always felt the guiltiest about it, and the most disgusting. He's also the one that thought about you the most often. Even though he's seen you the first time, and left without you noticing, he watched for far, far too long instead of stopping you.
When you and Emmet try to convince him to join, Ingo freezes up entirely. The words that usually flow so readily from his lips have dried up entirely. The part of him that hopes that this is a dream, and that it's not, clash with equal powers. He knows he's kind of standing at a point of no return.
His silence, combined with the expression that's unreadable, even for you, someone who knows him so long, is somewhat terrifying. You shoot Emmet a nervous glance, but he seems unconcerned. He was the one who told you it was definitely okay to do this, after all.
And yet… With your lips still slick with Emmet's spit, you ask: "You… Don't think I'm disgusting for this, do you? You don't hate me?"
"Of course not," Ingo breathes out. "I could never." And he takes a shaky first step forward, and he never looks back.

-rubs hands together- angst angst angst angst! Can I get one heaping order of the train twins, Adaman, and Laventon with an s/o who gets hurt protecting them from a Pokemon attack and loses their memory? (Either temporarily or permanently, I leave it up to you)
Ooooh, this is like that ask from earlier, with the s/o attacked before they could propose. . . but it's worse!! I love it.
🍓🍓🍓
Ingo:
There's a specific pain that fires through Ingo when he watches you fall to a Karate Chop from a wild Sawk jumping from the tall grass. It would've hit him had you not jumped in his way. And now you're on the ground, bleeding from the head, as he desperately tries to ward off the Sawk before more damage can be done
He sprints to the nearest clinic with you in his arms and tears pouring down his cheeks. He nearly renders the staff deaf begging for them to help you, but they do their jobs, and you're stabilized before you can go into a critical state. All there's left to do now is wait, and Ingo waits at your side, praying for your safe return to him
And you wake up, your eyes open to Ingo's relieved smile and tearful kiss. But you don't return it, you freeze. You don't recognize Ingo, and you shy away from his touch and affections. And as the doctors shove Ingo out so he doesn't stress you out more with your injury, Ingo feels his legs go weak, collapsing when he's outside of your room. Silent tears pour down his cheeks as he realizes that he's lost you.
Emmet:
Emmet doesn't notice the furious, freshly beaten trainer storming towards him as he beams with the pride of winning a tough battle to you. But you see the man approaching, and before he can lay a hand on Emmet, you throw yourself forward. Emmet shrieks as your struck down so hard your head bounces off the platform when you hit the ground. A steady pool of red starts to grow on the floor, and Emmet turns on the man, no longer smiling
Once he's taken care of, Emmet rushes to where other passengers are helping you. He cries your name and begs you to wake up. It's as the paramedics are coming to take you to the hospital that your eyes do flutter open. You gaze up at Emmet, who blubbers how happy he is you're awake, and ask him who he is. Emmet's grip on you falls limp, and the paramedics sweep you away
Emmet follows the ambulance to the hospital, and tries to see you again, but the doctors worry about you stressing out because of your lack of memories. So Emmet watches the doctors and nurses go to and from your room, talking each other about blunt force trauma and amnesia. And he collapses to his knees. First Ingo, and now you?
Adaman:
Adaman should've noticed the Ursaring sooner, but he was too distracted. He watched you eyes sparkle in the sun, eyes fierce, and didn't realize what you were doing until it was too late. You shoved him aside, and he smacked his head on a rock, the roar of the Pokémon the last thing he heard before succumbing to a terrifying darkness
When Adaman wakes, it's dark, and you're above him, bloodied, but awake and moving slowly to check him over for injury. Adaman tries to do the same, only to stop when you give him a gentle introduction, and explain that you woke up and found him hurt, so you assume a Pokémon must've attacked you both and brought you here to feast, but it's run off now.
Adaman, shakily, explains that you and him know each other, but you're just confused, and you wince whenever you try to think harder about the subject. So Adaman calls Wyrdeer, to your utter shock, and takes you to Jubilife. Pesselle does what she can, but you're no less confused by everything. And as the others grow worried over what to do with you, Adaman sits and hates himself for being such a weak clan leader, unable to protect those closest to him
Laventon:
Laventon trusts the Pokémon you put in the pen a little too much. Since they're yours, he thinks they are harmless, nothing to be feared. You caught them, after all, that means they respect you enough to allow themselves to be tamed. But he forgets that while the Pokémon may respect you, he is different, even if he's your friend. All of your Pokémon don't trust him immediately, and this is proven when the alpha Rapidash you recently caught charges at him
You're quicker than it or him, shoving Laventon out of the way to get the full force of the attack. Laventon shrieks as the Rapidash rears and strikes you on the head with a flaming hoof, but the Pokémon merely turns from you you, unmoving you, and stomps at him. Laventon is quick to find its Poké Ball and recall it, dropping the ball to race to your side. He sobs at the blood and the dark bruises already blooming across your face from the impact of the alpha Pokémon.
Pesselle manages to patch you up, but it's days before you awaken. Laventon stays at your side the entire time, refusing to do anything else until he sees your eyes open again. And when they finally do, he's apologizing endlessly, but you just stare up at him in confusion. You ask who he is, why he's apologizing, and Laventon's heart seizes in his throat. This is all his fault, he realizes. He's such a poor professor that he endangered you, and now this is his punishment. He's lost you because of his recklessness, and the pain hurts worse than that of any attack
🍓🍓🍓
These were a doozy to write and have them be different from one another, but I managed it! I hope you enjoy it, love, and have a great day!!

psmd/PLA au thing
i don't have a TON of thoughts for this one yet tbh but.
Pokemon!Ingo, suffering from memory loss, finds pokemon!Akari being chased by three Beheyeem. He distracts them and then grabs her and yoinks them into a dungeon to escape. Along the way he explains who he is (similar to the highlands tunnel travel scene) and asks who she is. She admits she doesn't know much, except she does know she was a human, which gets Ingo's attention. It's a common legend within the world that sometimes humans are turned into pokemon without knowing why.
Ingo takes Akari in and enrolls her into school, where she meets Rei. Rei is the son of Kamado, the leader of Jubilife Village where they live, and he's widely known to be enthusiastic if not a little cowardly. He and Akari become fast friends, and he introduces her to the dungeons. Something about the dungeons is familiar to Akari so she begs Ingo to let her explore more of them. Ingo has been searching for more information, factual information, on humans turning into pokemon but isn't having much luck. He agrees that she can go into the dungeons- as long as she doesn't go alone. As Kamado only allows Rei into the dungeons when necessary, it ends up being Akari and Ingo exploring together the majority of the time. Cue bonding.
Some plots of SMD remain the same but in different ways- Akari and Ingo get the Jr expedition badge and harmony scarves, Ingo gives his badge to Rei (who's a little jealous cause his dad doesn't let him go into the dungeons...!) but keeps the scarf.
eventually it is found out that Ingo and Akari are both from different worlds, that they were both human. Akari died and was reincarnated as a pokemon, while Ingo - a pokemon trainer - was caught up in an attack and misplaced. Mew merged with him to keep him safe, as well as to use his battle prowess as aid in their mission, however it also caused memory loss and confusion. He was never supposed to stay, so once Arceus and Mew decide it's safe for Ingo to go back he has to leave. Akari has no choice but to watch him be taken back to his world, one she was never apart of. She returns to an empty home, more alone than when she was brand new to the pokemon world.

It Changes, like Water (CH. 3)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary: Akari has just met Gaeric for the first time and is still a little rattled by the experience. Ingo tries to reassure her by telling her a story.
Content Warning: Blood, bodily injury, and wild animal attack
Notes: I've made this in honor of Monsoon-of-Art and their PLA mer au (and just a touch from a different au where Gaeric acts as Irida's guardian). Many of the scenes in this fic are directly inspired by their work, there mer stuff more specifically. I've been a big fan of them since I started playing PLA and I've only grown to love all their characterizations of some of my favorite characters in all of Pokemon.
Just before we get into the swing of things, I should mention that much of this story is based off my understanding of the coastal waters of western Canada and Alaska. That's why you'll see mention of char and lamprey, you can find both in that region. While not entirely faithful to the actual location of the Hisui region, I thought it was a nice balance of environments from the Arctic Ocean to around Washington state in the US.
This is also where I first mention the Nobles and you'll see I do not change their names in the coming chapters. I thought it would prove to be a little confusing if I called them by the animals they're based off in Mons mer au (this will be more clear in the next chapter). I'm treating the names (Lord Avalugg, Lady Lilligant, etc.) like they're genuine titles, like the Duke of York. There were many Dukes of York, but they all went by the same title. Sorry if it seems confusing.
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy! Don't like to read on Tumblr? Read it here on AO3.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the autumnal equinox approached, Gaeric spent many hours teaching Irida how to defend herself when she was in the water. The girl was still far too scrawny for her age, but that began to change with the migration patterns. The clan began to prosper again, which meant that Irida was expected to see the elders more regularly and start learning about her duties to her clan. However, it was abundantly clear that she had gained… certain undesirable traits from her pseudo-guardian. She frequently mimicked his irritable attitude and sever distaste for Diamond Clan. She never made it to her lessons because she was usually asleep during the day, just like Gaeric. Irida was not interested in her position, she wanted to continue her life as it was. She had grown to see Gaeric as an older brother and, like any younger sibling would, she would mimic his every move.
This worried the elders and the rest of the clan. Palina, the only other person who Irida found even the remotest of kinships with, did her best to influence her – but that influence only went so far. Gaeric carried on exactly as he was, the protest of the elders falling on mostly deaf ears as a sort of retribution for allowing his mother’s death to be a passing footnote in the clan’s history. They had told him to watch over Irida, that was his only instruction, and that was exactly what he was doing. He was a brash, angry, and mourning teenager who was forced into a position of guardianship, and nobody seemed to want to understand that from his perspective. He couldn’t have predicted how Irida would latch on to him and he to her – although he would never admit that- and now they were asking him to just let her go?
“What are we looking for today?”
“Char. Its mating season for them, so we’re headed inland today. Watch yourself. There’ll be a lot of predators. If we’re lucky, we’ll get a good haul.”
The warning was not without merit. Gaeric remembered his mother warning him about the same thing. Although her primary concern had been bears, there was the off chance of sharks. He was collecting various equipment - a few spears and a make-shift trident he fashioned for the less dexterous Irida, and a few nets for their haul. After such a lean winter, a haul of fatty salmon just sounded divine, and he had hopes that this would somewhat get the elders, and the likes of Palina, off his back.
“Where are you two headed?”
Speak of the devil. Gaeric pointedly kept on task, but Irida was gleefully explaining their plans to her other sibling figure, even if she was being scolded for missing another lesson in favor of this trip. The girl puffed up and said that the lessons she learned were boring when she could be going out to explore their territory and learning how to hunt and provide for her fellow clan members. That made a smug grin appear on his face, even if he kept his head low to conceal it. He could imagine Palina rolling her eyes in agitation as she gently, but firmly tried to reiterate the importance of the elders’ teachings.
“Gaeric can teach you about hunting and gathering, but they can teach you about our history and about the importance of our nobles. Your father told you about the nobles, right?”
With lightning like reflexes rarely seen on land, Gaeric had whipped around and had slammed his hands down on either side of Irida, leaning closer to Palina with a snarl. The intimidation did not fail and actually made her lose her balance and topple backwards, blinking up in astonishment as Gaeric huffed down at her.
The topic did not come up often but mention of her parents made her deeply upset. Irida was pressed up against him, motionless but at least not crying. He still wasn’t sure how to deal with crying after all this time. It was like she was still thinking about what Palina had said when she responded.
“Yes…”
“W-Well, you should go see the elders. They could teach you a lot more about-”
Palina glanced up at Gaeric looming over her, his stance protective behind the small girl.
“They could certainly teach you a lot more about that.”
The smallest mer did not reply, but she removed herself from the conversation by crossing the cavern and sliding through the hole into the sea. Now that the initial shock had worn off, Palina was upright and shoving Gaeric back with just as much ferocity as he had displayed. He looked remarkably unfazed and went back to packing his stuff up for their hunt as Palina berated him.
“Don’t you ever lunge at me like that again!”
She hissed, baring her teeth which almost made him roll his eyes.
“Why do you suddenly think you know what’s best for her, Gaeric? The elder are worried that she’s not going to want to take up the mantle because of what you’ve been teaching her.”
“Yeah? Well, maybe they should have reconsidered that earlier.”
He could hear the stress in her voice, obviously someone had been putting a lot of pressure on her to try to win Irida over. Since either he or Irida herself stymied her every time, it was clear Palina was on the receiving end of some backlash. While he could understand her position, he didn’t feel wholly sympathetic. He hadn’t been asked, he was simply told to watch over Irida, and he had done as he was told. Now everyone wanted to have a problem with it. A year and a half of raising her like she was his kid sister and now the elders wanted to scoop her up to start training her? Talk about being late to the game.
“She’s going to be our leader – she has to learn about our traditions and teachings at some point. You can’t shelter her forever.”
Just under his skin, his blood was boiling but he just focused on what he was doing. Palina was just in a bad mood, letting off steam at him because he was somewhat the source, but not exactly the pressure. He was leaving soon anyway; no point being held up by an argument where there would be no victor.
“The rivers are dangerous this time of year and you know it. What are you going to gain from bringing her with you? Valuable experience from being in life threatening situations?”
“Hey!”
He barked, jerking around and narrowing his eyes at her.
“I was also going to take her to some of the shrines. Cut me a little slack here Lina, I’m not total moron!”
She stared back at him, completely incredulous, as if asking herself how this little detour would solve any of the issues facing their young clan leader. She turned away and started making her way back out of his cavern with a derisive snort.
“Whatever Gaeric, but if there’s a single hair on her head missing, I swear to Sinnoh above, I’ll leave nothing left of you but catfish food.”
This only earned her a scoff. The bag securely in place, Gaeric clambered through the hole and into the water. A short distance away, Irida was chasing after some fish, but it was like she had no real interest in it. Something in her movements seemed sluggish and preoccupied. The contents of her thoughts were not too hard to figure out. He didn’t say a word. Irida saw him coming her and stopped, Gaeric placed a hand to her back and steered her in the right direction.
