☆☆☆ # muzan kibutsuji !

he's known it since the start. in fact, it does make you special to him, its the reason why he noticed you so blatantly amidst other humans in the first place.

would try to use your blood in his research. after all, when would he get his hands on another marechi again? another 50 years?

but unfortunately for him. . . he's very fond of you.

at the back of his mind, whenever he takes you out for the night or watches you resting, he thinks to himself: when will you, and your blood outlive its usefulness? and when would be the perfect time to turn you into a demon?

surely you'd be very impressive as a demon.

he smiles to himself at the thought, looking over at your sleeping form with a tender feeling blooming inside of his chest.

☆☆☆ # kokushibo !

its. . . not surprising in the least. he could tell right away that something was off about you. its only when you clumsily hurt yourself that he confirms that you are a marechi.

he can suppress the urge to bite or eat you well enough, your just-- intoxicating to him altogether.

he likes to be near you now more than ever, accepting any kind of physical touch as a comfort.

likes to have you sit on his lap or have a hand on you whenever he can.

he would not allow any other demon (or anyone in general) to lay their hands upon you.

takes it as a challenge when someone oversteps their boundaries to you. will become violent as he's extremely protective of you + with added heft because of the fact that you are a marechi

☆☆☆ # doma !

he, like all the other demons, know just how rare a marechi is!

if he thought you weren't distracting before-! NOW, you are all he can think of

better than anything his followers could give him; no jewels, no gold, no praise could ever be worth more (it couldn't before he learned this, but now! now that he knows he's ecstatic!)

you whole-heartedly hold his all of his affections and adoration!

doesn't like the idea of fighting others over you (if its a lesser demon or a lower rank, he'll demolish them without a second thought. . .) but fighting someone like kokushibo is unthinkable!

but you know. . . he would.

becomes extremely possessive over you, not quite jealous per se. . . but he does need to know where you are at all times + occupy your space almost 24/7

gosh, you are just so damned precious aren't you?

☆☆☆ # akaza !

learning that you're a marechi is honestly. . . pretty bad news.

he worries that something bad could happen to you (being involved with demons after all) and that there's a chance he can't protect you like he wants

he doesn't mind your blood (his training disciplines him enough to not mind the fact that you're literally intoxicating)

spends a bit too much time with you, reassuring you that he's there for you and holding you. (side note: loves when you lay on him)

would not do anything without your permission, but if he thought turning you into a demon or hiding you was the right thing to do, he would say so

other than that, he's still your partner, through and through

☆☆☆ # hantengu + clones !

someone would have to point out to hantengu that you were, in fact, a marechi. and if that person was an upper rank demon, you can bet his personalities would split in fear

sekido, turns his rage onto the other clones and demons. they are inferior and could not keep you safe like he could

karaku, would love spending time with you, who cares about your. . . very potent blood? he's way more affectionate now that he knows

aizetsu, is (obviously) devastated to learn this. what if he's unable to protect you?. . . like karaku, he likes to be near you, laying his head on your lap when he can for comfort.

urogi, adores you! being a marechi doesn't really change a thing about what he thinks

zohakuten, is the one who can 'actually' protect you and makes it his sole purpose. after all, you do mean everything to him, its his job to do so.

when the clones learn about your blood, everything seems to be scaled up to 100 with them. . .

☆☆☆ # gyokko !

ugh! this is perfect! perfect! PERFECT!

it took him a moment too long to catch onto that-- particular smell that always followed you. he was always too preoccupied on his work or trying to garner your attention to realize it!

then it hit him like a pile of bricks.

you were a marechi! his own one of a kind work of art!

your blood crafted by the gods themselves and blessed upon him! of all people!

like the ❛true work of art❜ you are, he likes to flaunt and taunt the other demons with his relationship to you. (would definitely do that thing where he hides behind you and sticks his tongue out at them)

his body/tail is almost always encircling you (protective or possessive gesture? . . . maybe a bit of both)

i mean, in his eyes, you've always carried unique + immense beauty; but to have all the other demons jealous of him is the cherry on top! for a while (maybe a few decades or so) you and your presence become his ultimate muse

☆☆☆ # gyutaro !

conflicted about the fact when he finds out.

what is he supposed to do with you now? of course, of course! on top of being flawless in his eyes you're also a damned marechi! ACTUALLY FLAWLESS

(he's pissed off + currently picking the hell out of his skin with anxiety and frustration)

how could you hide something like this from him?! then, he calms down as ❛all is revealed to him❜

you're his, plain and simple. what's there to be jealous or insecure about? the problem (in his mind) lies within the other demons

currently: a little more clingy and teasing towards you. definitely likes to try and embarrass you by showering you with affection

overall, just indulging in your presence.

☆☆☆ # daki !

would not be able to tell on her own that you're a marechi, and when she learns that you are-- its like a dark heavy veil falls upon her: ❛you. . . WHAT?!!!❜

would try to bite you, and there's like a 50/50 chance she regrets the thought. or actually does it. . .

hopes you'll ❛get over it❜ and come cuddle with her again ♡

without a doubt, she thinks no one could over-power her to get to you (when/if proved wrong) she starts to cry because 1, she's weaker than she thought and 2, because what's going to happen to you if she can't protect you?

if she did ask her brother for help, she'd actually doubt him too. would gyutaro try and take you? because she'd fight with him too. . . just wouldn't want to resort to that.

she's not overtly possessive, but your dead wrong if you think she wouldn't be the literal embodiment of jealousy

would be really proud to be with you

☆☆☆ # nakime !

the biwa demon tries to care less when its revealed to her that you're a marechi:

you've always been her source of comfort, its usually very reassuring to have you near her. . . but lately, its hard for her to concentrate on-just about anything she does.

is whole-heartedly trying to focus on her biwa and physically wincing at every missed note. . . but how can she when you're just sitting there overwhelming her thoughts?!

she's always adored your attention, and now that playing her instrument has become a tad distracting to her. . . she likes to spend time with you personally. you're thoughts on her infinity castle? would you like a tour of her favorite spots? and one new feature she is currently in love with is: holding your hands in hers.

wouldn't like confrontation with other demons, a physical fight is off the table. . . but she could sure hide you better.

☆☆☆ # rui !

accidentally cuts you with a string while the two of you are playing cats cradle.

is very interested in a ❛marechi❜ (at first he doesn't know what to call you as he's never encountered someone with your kind of blood before)

is over protective, to the point of casual violence (will casually slice up a demon that thinks you'd make a good meal)

besides the effect it has on other demons, rui doesn't seem to mind in the slightest. from the smell to the physical effects your blood has on him. . . its pretty minimal

but he can always be jealous-- and petty (he's 100% smiling at the prospect of fighting other demons over you)

really. he wouldn't allow anything to separate you from him. not because of anything. so your stuck with him, marechi or not.

☆☆☆ # enmu !

initially thinks that this is a WONDERFUL revelation!

then he's internally conflicted by the idea of eating you or spending his life with you. and will be for a long time.

dammit! just give him some of your blood!

becomes pesky pesky enmu.

and does revel in the fact that he can just openly lay on you, bothering and being as close as possible to you!

wants to spend a ton of time with you now that he knows + starts asking questions

finally thinks that turning you into a demon could be an amazing idea! : would your special blood make you stronger? would you be stronger than him? oh the possibilities!

but. . . as much as he loves having fun with you. . . he does care about your health. . . a little too much. everything in him is so conflicting right now.

can you believe im a goddamn SHAM and never posted about what happened to dardanos AFTER doma...

i did write a post about paradius and how dardanos’ luxury yacht was said to have been demolished in the storm and so dardanos was pronounced dead, but he Wasn’t, clearly.

for the time that dardanos was thought to be dead, paradius had to go through the struggle of “what do we do with company hierarchy”, and of course there were people who wanted to hold out hope that maybe by some miracle, dardanos had survived and was just on some island waiting to be found, so paradius’ board of directors agreed that they would not pick another CEO until a year had passed and if dardanos wasn’t back within 365 days, he was most certainly dead. to keep with that, while most of his vast fortune was distributed to charities ( as was written in his will, which existed and no one knew why, since he was only in his 30s ), enough was left for him to still live comfortably if he was, in fact, not dead.

and look at that, 8 months after the disaster of doma, dardanos eleazar was found, reportedly washed up on the shores of naxos. and from that, he had to go through the rather stressful legal process of being Not dead. he was interviewed about what had happened in the 8 months, and soon enough his miraculous return was a headline everywhere from tv to magazines.

dardanos’ story is that he did end up stranded, but he was not so far from civilization as he had thought. relying on his vast knowledge, he managed to construct a rather sturdy raft and survived by identifying which flora were safe to eat and which weren’t. he was, in fact, believably thinner than when he’d last been seen, so everyone bought the story. and it wasn’t entirely untrue. the difference is that dardanos is in fact immortal, so he didn’t have to worry so much about food, but he did find himself rather stranded and needed time to recover from the brutal fight gaea had put him through.

while stranded, dardanos was often in a trance, visiting the spirit world and talking to the legendary knights, at first mostly hermos, but in time, timaeus and critias.

the reason dardanos didn’t return to the spirit world is not because he’s banned, but because he chose not to return; at least not yet. for as chaotic as the planet is, dardanos wanted time to see the modern world with eyes unclouded from gaea’s hatred.

as most people didn’t know about doma, dardanos doesn’t have to deal with the scorn of others, although he does carry a deep guilt that he doesn’t talk about.

he continues his work as a philanthropist and keeps paradius as the powerhouse of a company that it is.

he builds a new deck with the help of the legendary knights, focusing on their power and his own. it’s the proof of his healing soul that they decide to stay by his side.

on that note, dardanos is often seen with three “new” close friends, and yeah, they’re timaeus, critias, and hermos.

shockingly, dardanos is rather shy without gaea’s influence, which makes for a stark contrast between the “real dardanos” and gaea. no one could mistake the two for each other, which helps when dardanos inevitably encounters people from his past as gaea’s host.

getting caught! is her absolute nightmare. she'd be talking casually to shinobu, enjoying her meal when shinobu points out ❛all those little red-marks on your neck❜ with a teasing giggle. mitsuri would be mortified. just stops talking for a second frozen- and when she remembers how the love bites got there she clamps a hand over her mouth and desperately tries to hide them with her white haori. for the next hour she'd be spluttering together excuses while shinobu tries to ice her heated face.

her thoughts! exactly the same as when someone else points them out. she gets embarrassed to the point of feeling faint. . . but once the initial shock wears off and she gets used to them. its impossible to admit to anyone else, but she likes how they look (the tiny ones are adorable) little reminders that she's loved so deeply. she likes to keep them for herself though, and covers them up with makeup when they occur (its a pretty bad cover-up. . . but it works!. . . most times)

☆☆☆ # gyutaro shabana !

getting caught! its actually hard for it to come up in 'conversation'. either nobody notices at first, because of his skin (he picks at it all the time so its not too suspicious) or nobody pays him much attention. when it does, it's daki that points it out: ❛where'd you get those hideous things from?❜. initially, gyutaro doesn't know either until it dawns on him. . . a shaky smile starts pulling at the corners of his mouth, rubbing his neck, lost in thought.

his thoughts! he's got a forearm resting above a mirror, leaning in close to his reflection to study them. i mean, they're just little bruises. no big deal. if anything, he frowns, they're ugly marks you gave him. . . that you gave him. . . ❛heh. hehheh❜ he. . . actually likes the sound of that. and although he usually loathes looking in the mirror; you know what, he actually thinks they're kinda. . . pretty.

☆☆☆ # kagaya ubuyashiki !

getting caught! its an unusual scenario. he's gathered the hashira to meet with him once more, discussing initial plans to have them all separate and patrol different areas when he hears. . . snickering? whispers and giggles folding over themselves and his voice. ❛what's got you all riled up? something important on your minds?❜ all of them will deny anything, telling him not to worry etc. its only when kagaya beckons over a poor kakushi that he learns the truth. the only indication of his reaction is the subtle lift of his brow ❛let's continue discussing the plan shall we?❜

his thoughts! he can't see them, but he feels his skin, pressing gently on the parts that are tender. its a warm revelation, like a gift that just floods his chest with sunlight. he loves them, truly, but it's better to hide them from his children, its a little. . . unsavory. he'll just bundle a white scarf underneath his kimono, draping it high above his neck in hope's he's actually covered them all.

getting caught! i mean come on- he's practically daring someone- anyone to say something about it. leaning in too close to people, bending and flaunting his neck in hopes someone will point it out. it'd be someone like gyokko that finally breaks the ice ❛doma, what are those unique markings on your skin?❜ he'd be all too happy to oblige gyokko (or anyone's) questions. always answering with a coy smirk.

his thoughts! he's obsessed with this display of affection and worships everything about it. he'd wear them with pride, sitting on his thrones with jewels and luxuries, thinking about nothing but the marks on his skin and how he must look to his worshippers (do they think they're as holy as he does?). he'd want more- a lot more. likes to just sit and stare at it sometimes, silently hoping they'd stay their forever. (of course they won't, but he can dream) disappointed when they heal.

Upper Moon 1,2, and 3 with a Male! Reader

(Warning: Nothing just fluff)

🌙Kokushibo🌙

(Let’s say reader is a former demon slayer that had to quit the Demon Slayer Corps because of a serious injury)

- He would have never thought that he would want to date the same gender in his life but when he entered a small home looking to devour someone and encountered you, you managed to prove him wrong.

- He wanted to get to know you better and more importantly protect you. That was when he realized that he developed strong feelings for you.

- He will wait until you confess first because he’s not really sure if you’re attracted to males or not.

- After dating him for a few months, he will offer you to become a demon so you can heal your terrible injuries, be way more stronger and live longer.

❄️Douma❄️

(Let’s say reader is a normal civilian)

- When he first saw you it was almost like he was fascinated with you so he approached you and started up a conversation.

- He manages to skillfully persuade you to come with him and he forcefully turns you into a demon. Usually he asks a person if they wanna turn into a demon but he didn’t even give you a choice.

- “Could this be what they call love?” Douma says as he feels his cheeks heating up, looking at your body on the ground as you’re currently turning into a demon.

🏀Akaza🏀

(Let’s say the reader is a powerful Hashira)

- When you encounter him and begin to battle him he will be amazed by your strength. He will offer you to become a demon and tries his very hardest to persuade you (because he has a crush on you but he doesn’t realize it yet)

- When you take up on his offer he will train you to become even stronger. At first he’ll go really easy on you but he doesn’t exactly know why, but then suddenly realization will hit him that he has a crush on you.

- He’ll be softer with you and even the rest of the Upper Moons begin to realize that something is up when they saw how he acted towards you.

wahhh just went through your ffxiv specbio tags they’re so cool!!! do you perchance have any more hcs for au ra

I HAVENT DONE AU RA YET but I love the lizards…. My best friends lizardguys. I haven’t gotten to endwalker yet and I know there’s a few more auri characters in there so…maybe my ideas will change But

au ra are I think probably the most diverse species out there just based on HOW MANY lizards exist and how BIG the azim steppes/doma/their reach is. I don’t know if I’d divide species traits by xaela/raen or if they all share that diversity, but I’m tempted to say there are fewer raen, most of whom are either in solitude or hanging out in doma, and they kind of remain proud of their celestial lineage, so they on the whole have more often “draconic” traits, while xaela with their many different lifestyles on the steppe on the whole will be more diverse. Like eastern dragons versus every other dragon species

so! between everyone I think their scales are Way More, most of which are very very hard and difficult to scratch or dent but some of which are soft like some reptiles wherein it’s not necessarily a scale, which sheds layers (like turtles shed their scutes), and more like skin, which sheds in flakes (like snakes or geckos). Au ra whose scales are soft like that are generally the same types of au ra who can pop their (also often soft and thick!) tails off at will and regrow them. Most au ra have very tough, muscly scaly tails, anywhere from big thick crocodile tails to thin draconic tails to tails that have ossified spines or clubs at the end (like dinosaurs!). Since they’re so strong, they can be used to emote — hitting them against the ground is a happy sign, while dragging it against things is Not. Also kids tend to grab and pull them a lot, which leads to the common thought of tail pulling being seen as kiddy. It is quite rude to do to an au ra as an adult. Their scales can sometimes spread to cover most of their body, and sometimes be restricted to the forearms, face, tail, and legs. their horns (aside from being basically ears which I think is cool, they must be pretty complex organs on the inside — I think they can shed but only the tips, like goats, and breaking any further is both really hard and very harmful not only to their ears but because they’re full of blood vessels!! Be careful! ) aren’t really used for fighting or anything they are there for hearing and temperature regulation and in defense. Au ra don’t really, like, sweat? They’re warm-blooded, but don’t sweat. So an important thing to keep in mind if you’re going into the desert is that overheating looks different in an au ra vs another race (lethargy, drooling, and unfocused eyes are your main tells). many of their horns point forwards to block their face. so no, sleeping isn’t that hard bc they sleep like loafs, but yes kissing is hard :( that’s not really a thing they do unless someone else wants to they snuggle and rub scales. so says yoshi p

Protofeathers are basically dinosaur fur - they are NOT feathers. They’re little hollow filaments somewhere between a feather shaft and hair. These ones are pretty stiff. That’s why au ra hair can so easily stick right up like a cockatiel. Some au ra have been noted to have protofeathers on their neck and arms like fur too :0

Speaking for a long time. uhhhh let’s see they have feets anywhere from plantigrade (clawed, kinda geckoey) to digitigrade (DINO!!!), their claws really need trimming often bc they don’t stop growing, they are not obligate carnivores like hrothgar but like miqote they need more meat than they do veggies, and it’s sometimes very hard for a non- au ra to tell if the big growl they’re doing is happy or not because big growl is how they purr! Like wolves going HHRHRRRRRR (happy). Also im obsessed with their limbal rings im so sad they’re so faded in the graphical update. they gotta glow. Most au ra are also colorblind in some way BUT! They can faintly see infrared

Also in researching lizards i found out that some lizards and frogs have like a third eye that can’t See like images but it CAN detect light and darkness and stuff? It’s called a parietal eye! Garleans… is amphibian (taking notes) /j

P H Y S I C A L A S P E C T S

Hair Midnight Blue with patches of red tip patterning concentrated around the back and sides of her head! Thick with the slightest bit of wave (often gets brushed out) Eyes Ruby Red Skin Very Light Olive with white facial stripes and darker pigmented nose. Tans well but never sticks for long. Tattoos/scars One visible scar on the cheek, multiple around her body which get glammed over. After endwalker, her right hand has a high concentration of scaring around the knuckles & palm (A consequence of her final fight in ultima thul and the proceeding surgery needed to reset the incorrectly healed bones.) She has various arcane geometric patterns marked into her skin in aetheric ink. One at the back of her neck, one on each forearm right above the inner elbow, one banded around her ankle. They are also glammed over to be invisible to the naked eye, but those who are well attuned to seeing aether would see them glow faintly as Arsay casts summoning spells.

It sent him down a far and wonderous trip down memory lane when he was a human, so weak and fragile was he; he remembered the love of his life and the spark which he felt coarse through both of their bodies back then. However, it was different this time, much stronger, much more tempting and had much more control over him.

꒰🌷꒱. You, a petite, meager, little human he could practically tear apart in minutes made him feel what he thought he'd never feel again. Just from one encounter, you did that. He couldn't shake you off though, recalling the very few moments of your meeting made his heart melt in his chest. Your adorable glances, the way your eyes glistened with utter fear but yet they were so mesmerizing! you were truly out of the ordinary.

It was as if the bittersweet fragrance of lust followed him around playfully every time he laid his soft, golden eyes on you; his gaze strong and never daring to shift off of your exquisite physique for even a moment for every second was priceless as he watched you ever so carefully from the depths of the dark shadows. You were just so divine!

꒰🌷꒱. He watched you, intaking your presence from afar and just from that he felt like he went to the seventh heaven. As his luminescent, enthralling pupils glowed solemnly and created a soft glow within the ebony darkness; they only focussed on the most captivating treasure though, you. The most fluorescent and alluring flower the world has ever bestowed upon.

꒰🍰꒱. However, there were others, weren't there? Akaza knew someone as angelic as you had others who wanted to steal you away from him! He was a powerful demon after all, if they only knew that upper moon three places his piercing watch on you first, they would have definitely backed off by the hook of the crook.

꒰🌷꒱. But they didn't and they were innocent in their doings! Akaza knew that they were not weary that they were attempting to steal something which wasn't of their possession, unaware of the consequences; that is. He knew to a T that this was bound to happen. But he was driven by jealousy and envy, yet another feeling he couldn't shake off. It coursed through his already boiling blood.

꒰🍰꒱. Don't get me wrong, it's not like he wanted to partake in violence; but it was to be expected and he truly wasn't timid to get rid of his rivals, or should I say obstacles? As soon as he observed said problem talking to you while he was preoccupied watching you at night, as usual; its when the envy hit it straight and direct. If only looks could kill.

꒰🌷꒱. He feels betrayed by you in some way or form. You were supposed to be his! But things happen, don't they? He'll simply put the person back in their place, nothing as angelic as you could do any wrong. Therefore, even though he knew their intentions were nothing but filthy, he decided to take matters into his own hands.

꒰🍰꒱. He was torn between a rock and a hard place though. As much as he wanted to tear them limb from him, he did feel guilty that they were leading themselves to their own demise by just interacting with his angel. How selfish Akaza.

꒰🌷꒱. Sadly, his envy does have the upper hand in the end. Upper moon three takes them away at night for hours upon end of none stop torture, and he made sure to be sloppy with them.

꒰🍰꒱. Taking his ever-sweet time to deeply tear apart their delicate flesh with his sharp, razor-like pearly whites; creating large gashes and lacerations to their once blemishless skin. The oozy, irony yet succulent taste of their crimson-red blood running along his taste buds as he relishes the flavor in delight. Akaza loved the cries of agony and terror his unfortunate issues had to face at his cold-blooded hands.

꒰🌷꒱. Mercilessly, he'd begin to tear at their limbs, toying with their ligaments until it was pulled clean off with mere force; the only thing remaining was a bloody torso. The bone of the freshly mutilated limb playing a game of messing hide and seek within the muscles and meaty flesh of the wound. How sadistic. The victim was still conscious, slowly bleeding to their death. To add salt to injury, he grinned and lunged his strong hand through their chest and tugged at the strings of the heart before crushing it to bits within his palm.

꒰🍰꒱. Now this wasn't a common thing, but it did happen from time to time. It did make those wonder who lived in your village, soft sounds of pain were heard but they were all played off as delusions.

꒰🌷꒱. Akaza didn't think to kill off your family though, he knew the value of them. But one or three relatives would end up in the missing papers at one point; sooner or later, how could he even resist?

꒰🍰꒱. At one point he gets sick of actually looking at you, yes you're majestic but he wants to feel your warm body against his. To finally feel what its like to be with someone he loves and it doesn't take him long to do this, his patience grows thin quickly ever since he started watching you from afar. So he did what he had to do.

꒰🌷꒱. He appeared to you at night and you immediately recognized the towering figure which stood in front you. The same fear welled up within your eyes as he spoke up rather boldly, telling you how he felt at last that faithful night. Confessing how you drove him insane and that he needs to feel you! To have you at his right hand! To have you all for his selfish wants.

꒰🍰꒱. He wasn't the one to take no for the answer if you rejected his request to be with you, and for a matter of fact? You didn't have a say in this, your rights have been revoked. This wasn't to be a choice, it was meant to be something you had to go through.

꒰🌷꒱. So he took you, no matter if your bargained or not, it was in vain for he wasn't foolish. Your screams and cries weren't heard either, he kept a firm hand over your mouth. So cold! However, his heart was beating more than he could ever imagine as he held you against his body, your warm touch lingering on his as a faint blush spread across his cheeks from your sweet voice entering his ears. Just inhaling your scent was by itself wonderful.

꒰🍰꒱. Akaza knew you had to be isolated, he found some abandoned cabin in the depths of a dense forest and made a home for you there. For now, this shall be where you rest with him for all your years.
