Any advice on drawing McCoy? I’m not used to drawing ancient wrinkley bastards (affectionate) and it’s surprisingly tough v-v
FOR SURE lmao i made. a diagram. just a warning that i am going to be irritating and long winded because u just hit a topic i really like sorry lmao
so first off i did some traces just to show whats there vs redraws to show my interpretation
ive said this on other asks but again jsyk, tracing isnt bad!! its a tool. theres some stuff with intellectual property and whatnot but using tracing to study shapes and forms is a really valuable practice.
also just taking some time to learn facial structures and anatomy is super useful, reading what bones and muscles are where and how they interact with one another. taking this info and staring in the mirror and moving your face around and thinking about it. just really furthers understanding of how the face works. trying to sound normal about this but i love anatomy and motion and physics and whatever
anyways im going to go through all the numbered points so there's no confusion.
1. forehead lines - self explanatory. more prominent when brows are raised
2. crows feet - at the outer corners of the eyes, more prominent when smiling or squinting
3. nasolabial folds - the folds that go from the corners of the nose to the corners of the mouth. more prominent when the mouth is wide, like smiling
4. brow furrow - self explanatory, most prominent when brows are furrowed. mccoy tends to have two right next to his eyebrows, kirk has one in the middle. everyones face works different lmao
5. chin crease - caused by how the chin and lower lip interact.
6. nasojugal groove - start from the inner corners of the eye and can extent over the cheeks. everyone has these and idk why people dont like them i think theyre really cool!!!! but Society. i guess. :/
7. eye bags - caused by the skin sagging beneath the eyes. mccoy isnt even that old in tos i think hes meant to be mid 40s by the end of the 5 year mission, hes just got really prominent eye bags lmao
8. idk what the name is for these, but when the mouth is wide and pushes the skin to the sides, these folds sometimes form outside of the nasolabial folds
9. philtrum - the groove above the upper lip. i dont usually draw this but mccoy's struck me as prominent enough that i usually draw it on him
10. masseter - the muscle that moves the jaw up and down. its a pretty rugged muscle and while i wouldnt say mccoy's is especially prominent, it kind of extends that nasojugal groove from certain angles/positions
11. orbicularis oris - mouth muscle, usually easier to see when lips are pursed or frowns are pulled. mccoy's is pretty prominent from 3/4ths or side, his mouth tends to protrude in profile
12. this isnt a muscle but more of a line defining the planes of the face, but since i drew it i felt i should explain lmao
a few points:
im an animator i tend to exaggerate and emphasize certain things so i usually make him more square.
i like to combine eyebags and crows feet for brevity/flow, same with nasojugal grooves, eyebags, and masseter lines. my approach is always subject to change based on pose, expression, reference image, etc.
i take out details that i deem redundant or cluttering and keep what details i need to make things feel Right
all this info is applicable to any character of any age, its just in how you apply it and facial proportions that willl change how old a character is perceived to be
there's a lot more with drawing a Character rather than an Actor, just because the features are there doesnt necessarily mean things will feel correct? its very much in the mannerisms and poses and expressions
i only went over my approach to his likeness but not really body type or posing or anything idk if u want that i could always try to answer that later haha

“girly u need to know some basic shit in this school, oke first DONT go to the friend group there” haeyoung pointed at a group over there with 8 boys and 5 girls” the boys called them self ateez dont try to mess with them, most popular and dangerous boys in the group. and then we have the pick me’s- oh i mean newjeans, the girls only want the boys of ateez. literally pick me’s and if you get close with one of the boys that they like well u have some new enemies.” mhmm new info
” oke so in ateez we have: kim hongjoong, the leader. he’s pretty smart but not the smartest. he bets with the boys on which gets that girl first, so if ur ever the target just reject them:), oke next
park seonghwa: the prettiest, most popular because of his looks but still watch out he is quite strong.
next jeon yunho: smartest well one of them, this guy is one of the more friendlier guys in the group.
next kang yeosang: dont mistake him with his face. one and two and ur on the floor.
next choi san: chestnut, well he looks like one, he looks scary but he’s really not if you get to know him better he’ll be a cutiepie, i don’t actually know but people say that.
next in line song mingi: also one of the handsome guys, dont get me wrong butbthe do look good. he’s really of a scardycat but still he’s tough.
up next jung wooyoung: looks like a cutie, he isnt be afraid, well funfact i dated him, pretty long 2 years and we ended with good terms i do have have someone. up me tail. haerin but i get to that later.
last one choi jongho:strongest, this man can break a apple either his hands so dont become that apple. he’s also the youngest of three group.

Minji is complaining that she wants to go with seonghwa , but the teacher doesnt alows it.

What was weird because u thought they hated each other. u go to ur group at the canteen table. U guys talked for a bit and then boom a fight, another one

“EVERYONE STAND IN LINE” the coach said “ new jeans went to the other bleachers. U looked at the coart seeing yeonjun and beomgyu waving at u. U waved back.
the coach did a name check to see if everyone is here. Then they started with the warming up. U heard newjeans shouting and cheering for ateez. U were a little busy with figuring out were everything should go.
But when u got the hang of it u decided to watch the practice. U saw that the teams were uneven. The coach yelled “ if one of the girls can join this group” pointing at txt “ please come on coart” as txt were looking at u, u thought u should join them. U did had basketballed in ur life but u werent the best at it. U came down from the bleachers and came on the coart
“ ur clothes are fine, thank u for joining them” u heard booing from the bleachers, it was of course newjeans. U tied ur hair in a ponytail. “Oke yn can u go in front so if something goes wrong it isnt the end of the world” soobin exaggerates at the end, “ yeah dont worry!” U saw soobin in the center with mingi.
As the coach trew the ball to up. Mingi gave soobin less space so he couldn’t jump that high. The ball came to san. As u rushed to him u managed to get it put of his hands. Now ur tribbling to the basket, the only person that separates u with the basket.
jeon yunho. Well u tried but didn’t manage to go far as yunho is like 2 meters and ur 1.65 meters. U tried to get the ball back. But failed, newjeans laughed and called u bad. Soobin managed to get the ball and passes it to u. Now theres the same person infront but u said u could so it. U tribbeled around yunho and jumped to make a layup. And u.
Scored!! “TWO - ZERO POINTS” u saw txt shocked and happy faces. “ YEAH YNN GOOD JOB” “THATS OUR YNN” “UR GOOD” u thanked them and went back into the game
after some time it was 15-15 . A tie. U guys were all sweating, and the other team too, also in that time ive came and watched and cheered u guys on. This point is the winning point. U tried to get the ball from hongjoong but failed, u turn back to try again but failed again. The tall figure tried to shoot but u blocked it and caught it. Now u tribbling to their basket.
U saw seonghwa infornt of u but u easily past him and made a layup, it didnt went in sadly. U passed the ball to yeonjun. As he passed to soobin and he to u again. U tried again and u missed. U cussed at urself for not scoring.
“YN UR SO BAD HAHAHA” u heard from the bleachers. That gave us motivation to win this match. U got the ball from taehyun and went back to the basket to try one more time. And u scored!! *wistle* “TEAM ONE HAVE WON THE MATCH”
u and the boys cheerded as u guys won the match “YN U DID ITT” the boys were going to change. as a tall male figure came up too u. “Never thought u even could do basketball” u looked up and saw seonghwa. “Never thought u guys were so bad” seonghwa looked at you annoyed “well tomorrow lets do the poster, ive done a little bit” “hm alright then” u walked out and went home.

A genuine question here, but why do you dislike The First so much?
well its a weird thing to talk about cause really its the same reason why i dislike stolen lupin or any other low tier TV special. the real question is why other people liked it so much and i think its only because its such a pretty movie, its jaw dropingly gorgeous and the lupgang banter is great but just those 2 together isnt enough to make a good MOVIE. but it is enough that u can have a good TIME if u dont think about whats happening. thats the short version, its just a bad movie. sorry🐅
i purposefully havent been too frank when talking publicly about it (why i kept a mean tweet about it in drafts for literal years) but compared to the unlimited love it gets from the fandom it looks like thats enough for people to pick up that i dislike it so much lol. so lets talk about the first!
ill be brief on each point. that ancient technology thing it does w the eclipse? thats a bad trope. its a very very bad trope. its the atlantis conspiracy theory, its 1 throwaway line away from slipping into ancient aliens, they pull the same shit in a couple other TV specials and none of them are fondly remembered so hopefully we all know this plot point sucks and is racist. if not you can google it. lets move on
the nazis. after watchin harimao i said it was more anti-nazi than the first, idk if id stand by that cause i havent seen it again since but i mention it to put it in lupin context. generally if it isnt OK to have lupin scam an ex-nazi in part 2 ep 3 by disguising himself as hitler, whys it OK for lupin to steal from nazis by disguising himself as hitler? at no point is the movie actually anti-nazi (though i wouldnt call it pro-nazi either) and its fucking weird to see lupin disguised as hitler in modern lupin cause each time nazis show up in classic lupin everyone agrees its tasteless & overdone.
laetitia! TMS did a genius thing w her cause shes incredibly well written as a self-insert fic protag. it is very easy to watch the first & pretend u urself are best friends w the gang by projecting urself onto her. this doesnt balance out her lack of character it only helps the audience not care about it. compare her to mariya from tokyo crisis- one could be written out of her own movie and we only get info bout her to move the plot (the bad, boring plot) forward, one is essential to the core of her movie and shes realistically affected by the things that happened to her and makes believable connections with some of the gang. yay! a character!!
the movie is also very segmented between "plot scenes" and "lupgang banter scenes" you will notice everything fun about lupin STOPS when we are being explained Plot Elements. lupin talks to laetitia and its a boring nazi ancient treasure movie. then we get a scene thats not about the eclipse or laetitias grandpa or the nazis and all of a sudden its super fun !!!!!!! this is bad writing. lol. watch fuma & see how lupin at its best can blend comedy and plot and exploration and fun banter.
my personal experience w the movie! the first time i watched it i had to pause it cause i was bored out of my mind. iirc it was more or less when lupin gets on the eclipse ship thing n all banter stops cause its just him n the nazi dude n i realized hey this movie kinda sucks actually! i texted a friend about it n he was like. yeah having to force urself to finish it sounds like ure not enjoyin this movie. i did watch the first 3 or 4 times? i did gif it a lot. theres scenes i like (the banter) but it doesnt make it a good movie. like i said when i first wrote my personal review of it: "I think looking at gifsets of this would be more enjoyable than actually watching it". laetitia really embodies her movie in that sense, shes a really good character if you only look at her. she shares her name with all of her ancestors! just who is she? why is she wearing short shorts? why was she a cop? how old is she? then you realize theres nothing there
and ultimately this IS a reaction to it being an unpopular opinion. there are so many lupin entries a lot more worthwhile than the first (2019) that dont even get half of the hype. in my personal ranking its in the bottom 10 (tho ive skipped 2 specials so u can consider that the bottom 12). i genuinely dont like it but im not as vocal about lets say, angels tactics, because we usually agree thats a bad one- or at least we dont recommend it to newcomers. the first has a good reputation so i feel more strongly about it despite liking it more. i would be just as vocal about dragon of doom & voyage to danger if people talked to me about them more often. (and i have a much more coherent critique of dragon of doom lol)
so i dont really know how to explain why i dislike the first cause i just do; the same way u just dislike a bad part 2 episode, the same way most of the fandom just finds napoleons dictionary kind of boring. how do u explain why u dislike the nazi ancient tech self-insert npc girl movie- except by calling it just that? i guess i wasnt blinded by how pretty it is which makes me sound full of myself LOL. but its true a lot of animation can get away w god awful writing if its well animated enough- and if its too ugly no one will watch the best written animated movie. i love animation too and it has so much to offer and i want to see more done in the style of the first with the story of [insert your personal favorite TV special]. im glad it opened the door for vs cats eye to look that way (though lets not forget the 2012 3DCG lupin short!). but the WRITING the STORY the MEAT of the first just isnt any better than any other mid to low tier lupin TV special. is it really worth recommending the first as someones entry into lupin just because it looks pretty? is it really better than the anime that made the author reboot his own manga? why are we even still talking about the first?

5. Alright I got some concerns over the new chapter (not fp) -
The idea that Persephone is SO important and that her unfair punishment is basically f*cking over everybody because Zeus is being too stubborn to realize what a hard working angel she is... Doesn't sit right with me.
Idk how to phrase this to make it make sense but everyone is being passive aggressive (sort of understandably) towards Zeus because his decision to punish Persephone. Like that satyr is basicslly saying "if only Zeus would lighten up and let hades and persephone be married and cater to their every whim then people / the world would be happy" - like the way the trial / punishment is written is that Persephone is the single most important character Ever whos life and choices affect everyone all the time and everyone is invested in hades and persephone being together because their lives basically depend on it - like hades is now supposedly messing up his own economy / citizens over not being able to see Persephone.
Also - I like that persephone seems to be standing up for herself finally, but it took 10 yrs to do it??
6. NGL I'm obsessed with that panel revealing Persephone's underworld citizenship went through bc 1) are we just supposed to ignore her immense privilege of getting a sped through process in a few DAYS, bc I won't! but 2) it feels like such an unintentional mockery of the actual immigration progress, where so many of us were/are trying to flee war, violence, and trying to find a better life, meanwhile SHE gets a sped through process so she can avoid the law/hook up with her boss. Love that, Rachel!
7. Also now that Cerberus is here I guess plot wise Persephone HAS to go see Hades despite the rules in place, she now has an excuse to go to the underworld and idk I read somewhere that some of the gods are in a sleep coma?
So heres a prediction - maybe kronos is up to something and zeus hasn't been affected yet because... Reasons? I bet its so that everyone is gone so oh no, whos going to save the Olympians from the dreaded kronos? Persephone of course! And zeus will finally have to admit how awesome she is and how great at everything she is and how wrong he was to punish her because only she, a fertility goddess, can save them and at the end everyone will be so mad if he doesn't forgive her because she saved the world to prove her worth that he'll have no choice but to lift the punishment and she and Hades can finally bang, I mean get together, and be married and everything goes back to normal and our protags get a happy ending and idk about everyone else - maybe Apollo is thrown into jail for rape and zeus is kept as king of the Olympians for a good show of faith but Hades and Persephone keep a close eye on him and basically control the strings so hes more like a puppet, and maybe hera and echo get together idk. Everyone else is secondary to the hades and persephone story so I don't know about them, cause despite it being called Lore Olympus only occasionally do we see storoes that pertain to outside of persephone and hades pov.
8. does that one anon think we critique rachel/LO because she's a woman 😭 the majority of lo critics are women?? yeah her being a cis white woman does effect how we look at her work, the ideas she puts into it, and how others treat her (especially compared to actual marginalized female webtoon creators), because that does play a huge role in why LO is full of problematic things and rachel's coddling by her fans. if we were calling her a bunch of gendered terms that'd be one thing, but we're not.

I didnt send in a thing for chapter 2 (i cant remember why) but I think I like Lihua. Unless you want to kill her or something in that case i hate her and am determined to not grow attached.

I mentioned in one of the taob asks that Im really picky about how people write Azula, and Ive already talked about how much i love how you write Zuko, so its Azulas turn now.
First of all (of the stuff I read anyways) Azulas pov arent written enough.
And the ones there are its even more rare that she actually has like,,, a personality???
like Shes always so robotic and uncomplex in some fics and I cant put into words how refreshing it is to get a change in that. Like this is the first fic ive ever read that I dont absolutely dread Azula povs.
(I feel the need to say whenever I compare taob to other fics in these I'm never intending to put the other authors down, im just stating the differences in my specific preferences. Like im all for writers doing what they want in their fics, but the way you write align so well with what i like to read its uncanny sometimes)
Azula is such a difficult character, and you write her so well. Youre phenomenal, I love it.
Like shes by far my favorite thing about this so far.
I love her and Zukos dedication and codependancy. And also how well they ended up being able to read each other and how well they flow with each other. Its so different from their cannon relationship.
I think they should have let you write the comics.

You capture the complexity of their relationship so well, and like acknowledging how strained and toxic they were at the palace vs now, its so good, I love it so much.
My second favorite thing about tams, like i mentioned, is all of Sokka and Zukos interactions. They were so funny and honestly had me cackling.
I liked the whole 'Azula and Sokka are similar and so are Katara and Zuko' thing, because its true. I've always seen them as sort of parallels of each other. Its nice to see this acknowledged.
I saw that you answered some of my other ask things recently and the one where I was responding to what I think was the last chapter of Taob had me laughing because I had no idea it was that long when I sent it in. Sorry for making you read all that.
I have a process for writing these and a part of it is that I usually write it in a doc first and then copy and paste it into the ask thing and then read through it to make sure it makes sense. And sometimes when im rereading it Ill add a lot of stuff and I didnt realize how much I added with that particular ask.
I saw it and I just kept scrolling and scrolling and it was really funny to me.
I usually take screenshots when you answer them so i can remember what i have or havent talked about and that specific ask is like 14 screenshots of just the stuff I sent.

i haven't seen any criticisms about this, so idk if it's an unpopular opinion or not, but i actually like that oda draws yamato like he draws his cis female characters. i mean, yamato deserves muscles, but that's true of pretty much every female character as well so. we'll set that aside for now
kiku passes pretty well. oda basically draws her like he draws cis women, and it is refreshing as hell to see a transfem character who /isn't/ a transmisogynist caricature
but in yamato's case, i like that he's curvy with big tits because.. everyone still recognizes him as man. he doesn't have to pass, he doesn't have to look like the cis male characters. his body is unaltered, he seems pretty comfortable with it, and he's a man and everyone knows it. he's welcomed in the men's bath. even his shitty ass father uses his correct pronouns
this is a nuanced subject ofc and trans people's experiences are many and varied and our representation should reflect that. but in line with that, there are trans people who don't pass, or who can't pass, or who don't care about passing. there are trans people who don't really feel compelled to change their bodies
and it's nice to see a trans character like that, personally. yamato has a body that most people consider female but he is unapologetically male and no one questions his manhood. he is how he is and he is a man

Additional things about the timeline and ages of various characters:
Ciri's age is a bit of a mess. We know that she is for certain born on/around Belleteyn, but her birthyear varies. In Blood of Elves, she is stated to be 13 (year 1266), and 14 in Time of Contempt (year 1267), both of which put her birthyear at 1252. In Lady of the Lake, Emhyr comments its been 16 years since he last saw Geralt (Pavetta's engagement in 1252), but that would mean Ciri was born in 1253. There is also some trouble caused by certain characters guessing Ciri's age to be 16/17 when she's supposed to be *almost* 15, but that can be explained by her simply looking older than she is.
Yennefer is also born on/around Belleteyn! In Tower of the Swallow (year 1267) she is stated to be 94 years old, which puts her birthyear at 1173, which means she's 99 in The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt.
Presumably, because most people are used to the men in the relationship being older, some fandom sites put Geralt's birthyear s being 1172. Truth is, as far as everyone knows, there is no canonical confirmation of Geralt's birthyear or birthday. CDPR also strays from the books sometimes, so them having Vesemir say Geralt is "nearly" 100 years old may be inaccurate to Sapkowski's vision or *their own game*, as they do sometimes have contradicting dates and general info.

Jaskier is the book's author in-game tho, so my theory is that Jaskier is one of the people that lie about their age.

1) i love love love the idea of jaskier/dandelion being someone who lies about their own age, it's SO in-character it's perfect. little weasel man cant be up front about ANYTHING, especially not with vanity on the line (said with extreme affection)
2) yessss, i KNEW 1172 sounded a little off/pulled out of thin air. i knew it, i feel so validated. it's as good a year as any i suppose, if you're intent on putting a point on it, but the fact it's just made up makes so much sense to me.
(apparently the official netflix timeline puts him around 103, and has him born in 1160, though i cant confirm myself because the website wont load for me. that age feels kind of silly to me for reasons i cant really quantify. like idk what made them decide that number.)
3) i think yennefer should be older because she just gives me that Vibe. she can be older than geralt if she wants to! also her being born on belleteyn is so cute taurus baby <3
4) i have definitely heard before that sapko's timelines are a little wibbly-wobbly, so i try and take numbers with a grain of salt and give them a little wiggle room. that doesnt stop my burning curiosity to know All The Numbers though XD

Due to several sleeping errors, I forgor
My day was alright outside of my stomach waking me up after 3 hours of comfy sleep, and then me falling asleep for a little too long on the couch at work, which is why I don't think i'm gonna have a new kanji for today. I'll probably just practice some other vocabulary and keep hammering in the first half of my katakana
Like I'm always saying, I dont want to vent here but like, its part of my day ya know. And I'm not upset as I write this its just thoughts in my brain. Btw did you know that overexplaining yourself is an autistic trait? Anyway, I've been thinking about my brain and its problems because my partner has a new work friend who is also autistic, but her and I followed different paths. She seems to be on the Naruto Uzumaki grind of saying exactly what she means and is thinking at all times. The barrier between her and other people made her more forward and blunt, which is probably good. I however went the conflict avoidance route, where I got tired of trying to be understood so I've just spoken less and less over the years. I used to be very social but lately I'm going whole days saying almost nothing to anyone
Its largely because of the specific people I'm around every day, cuz my mom doesnt care about whatever the fuck I'm doing in Onimusha or Splatoon. I've learned what stuff people outside my fixations would be equipped to find interesting. My mom listens, but I dont want to waste her time or bug her while shes working with stuff that isn't relevant to her. And my brother is the most equipped to have conversations with but he's also on a different autism wavelength that seems to be becoming incompatible with mine. Like earlier today I said I was getting really tired of him and our friend being so fuckin negative about everything all the time and then like 2 minutes later he said I was a bitch for paying attention to what skills I have on in Monster Hunter. Something just ain't lining up in our conversations
BUT, thats all to say, my response to that comment wasnt to push the point further, instead I just stopped talking. Because I've learned that he in particular seems to have lost the ability to argue or discuss in good faith when it comes to specific topics. And because of that I sit there and filter everything I think about saying. I have a thought about something in the Splatoon DLC and before i say something I think "my brother doesnt like Splatoon anymore so at best he'll ignore me and at worst I'll get into an argument about whether or not skills are stupid"

But this learned silence has got my ass unsure how to speak in general, so idk how to make new friends or how to interact with old ones. Its quite the pickle oh yes

I am brain-rotting dropout, so.
1- If your oc was to host a TV show, what would it be about? Would your oc be good at it? What sorts of guests would appear?
Hayden: I don't even know. But I think she would be a rather good game show host. Because she is a raccoon and a lizard. What is a filter? What is remorse? Hayden has a sort of ON energy -- it is hard to describe. It isn't quite peppy, it isn't quite gremlin [though it isn't not not quite gremlin]. It is like jittery but not in a nervy way. It is a 'Hayden doesnt know how to sit still in class, but I can't even get mad at it because Hayden's cheeky smile is so so adorable'. Hayden was going to be a lawyer and it is FITTING. DEFINITELY the kind of person TV lawyers think lawyers are.
Actually, I can see her in a Family Fued or Whose Line Is It Anyway sort of thing. But certainly more "unbothwred" than Steve is by the stuff people say. She is less likely to stare at the camera in with a 'Save Me Sweet Jesus' face and more likely to crack up / shrug it off.
Lloyd: I think Lloyd would be better for something quieter. The most intense he could probably be is an America Home Videos thing. Where the crowd is a stage away and the contestants are often responding via video chat. And even that might make him nervous. But it would be easier to pre-prepare and stick to a script there. And with a script he would he able to actually be more at ease, letting his impish charm show. But I think a trivia game show would be more him. Something like that new Kelly Ripa show with the kids and their grandparents.
2- Can your oc play any instruments? Have they ever wanted to learn how to play any? Why?
Hayden: The recorder all children in America were probably forced to play [i mean idk is it different for zoomers?]. I think Hayden was forced onto percussion instruments like the triangle and the tambourine -- and people got away with it because she dug it - because no one trusted Hayden with drums or the symbols.
I think she would because it is a thing to do. A bucket list kinda thing but she has no strong driving force, just I will do this by the time I'm 80.
Lloyd: He taught himself/is teaching himself the guitar. He wants to add the keyboard to that. Lloyd LOVES music and in another life that would be his major. He also I think wants to prove to himself that he can.
3- If you were to choose another name for your oc, what do you think it would be? Did you choose it for how it sounds or for its meaning?
Hayden: I actually had other names for Hayden but I don't remember what they are. I don't know that I would. Maybe something else that ends or starts with den? I liked Dennys as a nickname.
Lloyd: Vincent. I wanted a more oldy sounding name for him. Something a touch poetic but also serious. I went with Lloyd because of Loid Forger. Another tummy hurty blonde.
4- How does your oc fare in the dark? Are they scared? Do they trip over things really easily or navigate like they have night vision? (Or do they have night vision?)
Hayden: Can't see shit even in the light jshsheh. She's a four eye [its cool I can say that, I used to be a four eye]. She doesn't trip REALLY easily because she has good balance/can catch herself and because she walks with her hand extended. I don't think Hayden has been scared of the dark, except for one time and that was probably because someone jumped out at her as a kid. Lmao
Lloyd: actually has good spatial Awareness, so while he doesn't have night vision, he can remember placement and can make a pretty good guess of what things are with minimal lighting. Lloyd is no longer scared of the dark but it does make him uncomfortable. He is the type to triple lock his door and leave at least one light on in the house.
5- How well would your oc fare as a teacher? What subject would they be best at teaching? What about the worst?
Hayden: Unless it was as a gym teacher, I don't think very well. I feel would learn but it would be hard to measure what they learn. And I think she would probably make some kids cry, not intentionally but idk that she would change her vibe [she would make some parents cry too -- probably on purpos]. Gym would probably be the best. Not that she wasn't good at more booked based stuff but she loved Gym. Least: Chemistry.
Lloyd: Once he got of his head and stopped being so stiff/letting the kids harass him, he would be a great teacher. He is very sensitive and can be very passionate about his interests. He has that bubbling excitement that lights up his face that makes you hang onto his words / want to follow his words. Best: Music or English Worst: Math.
6 - What was your oc’s relationship with their parents like? If they didn’t have any parents/didn’t know them, who in their life was the closest to a parent to them?
Hayden: We are still learning but I imagine belligerent. She was definitely always hitting her head against the walls they put up "for her benefit". I think there is love there because I think there is understanding that they want the best for each other [Hayden to make them proud, and them for her to have a good futur] but there is frustration through speaking different languages. Lloyd: Has a more submissive, almost fearful relationship with his parents. It wasn't what either of them wanted but that is how it turned iyr to be. But we will see once I play him. Lloyd loves Maude but I kind of see him looking at some of the other characters in a big sibling way -- even if they weren't much older [maybe Statler and Wanda??]
7 - Does your oc have any allergies, intolerances, or other sensitivities? How dangerous is it? Does this affect their daily life in any way?
Hayden: She has a latex allergy -- but like from stuff used to make latex. So she won't blow up if she eats a kiwi but she will get a rash when ij contact with latex gloves/balloons.
Lloyd: Pollen drives him wild and he has to wear a mask during spring / when in woods and stuff. And after it rains sbbshdgd
8 - Does your oc prefer being in a crowd or being completely alone? How many people can be around them before they get uncomfortable?
Hayden: Surprisingly, Hayden likes quiet time but she doesn't have a strong preference. She isn't a crowd monger but she does well with it. She can handle rather large crowds before starting getting antsy [like in the 100s]
Lloyd: Likes people he knows. A group of familiar people is fine-- to a point. He actually doesn't like being completely alone but he will take that before an unfamiliar group. He can take at least two handfuls of people he is familiar with or loves around him at a time. If it is strangers... 3?? Lol. [He definitely went to class with bis hoodie up]
9- How easily does your oc make friends? Do they have difficulty talking to new people? Why?
Hayden: Doesn't have difficulty talking to new people... per se, but new people can have difficulty with Hayden. Hayden doesn't really curb herself for others. So. That can rub people wrong but she's great fun and people dig the sarcasm so sue has a lot of casual friends.
Lloyd: Can in a quiet, constantly seeing each other setting. Forced proximity. But generally know because he doesn't like unfamiliar environments and sometimes feels like he is being judged. He also isn't shy per se as much as has... nerves speaking outloud.
10 - How open is your oc to trying new things? Are they the adventurous sort, or would they rather stay in their comfort zone? Why?
Hayden: I want to say yes but I also want to say no. So I will come back to this. There IS the bucket list and she does thing with gutso ... but I wonder...I'll ponder aidhshdh
Lloyd: Surprisingly yes. It is easier with things than with people. He likes to learn. But slow and steady.

My Thought On Why Steve And Bucky Are Soulmates, Why Steve's Ending Doesn't Make Sense, Why Peggy And Steve Doesn't Work, And What I Think Sam Is Thinking About.
Why Steve and Bucky are soulmates:
1. one cant exist without the other
-when they were kids, had bucky not been there, steve is probably dead (from being sick or from an alley fight)
-if bucky wasn't captured in azanno, steve probably is in some uso tour and continue to be like that
-if steve wasn't captain america, bucky wouldnt have fallen from the train and turn into the winter soldier
2. theyve been separated 5 (or more) times, but always found their way to each other
-bucky was drafted and taken by hydra, steve became captain america and saved him
-bucky became the winter soldier, found steve, regained a tiny bit of his memory, preventing the winter soldier into killing steve and left to fix his memories
-bucharest, steve found bucky again in his little apartment
-got separated again by bucky going into cryo, but meeting again after cryo
-the snap, pretty self-explanatory
Why Steve's ending doesn't make sense:
1. after all he and bucky been through, now that bucky is fine, he won't just leave him
2. steve probably blames himself for bucky suffering from hydra, he won't just stay there and do nothing with peggy knowing hydra is torturing bucky
3. it just doesnt make sense
Why Steve and Peggy just doesnt work:
1. peggy literally told steve to move on "the world has changed, none of us can go back, all we can do is our best, and sometimes the best that we can do is to start over"
2. the steve i know will be proud of peggy, happy that she moved on and started a family, had a happy life. knowing that, steve won't just take that away from peggy

What I think Sam is thinking about:
1. how confused do you think sam is for steve leaving bucky, he helped steve do so many things to keep bucky safe, even being a criminal, just for steve to leave him
-sam witnessed steve saying, "even when i had nothing i had bucky"
-sam knows steve didn't fight against a brainwashed soldier knowing it was bucky
-sam witnessed steve go against soooo many people (including tony) just to keep bucky safe
2. if sam and steve talked before him leaving, there would be a pretty good chance of steve not staying in the past
More reasons why Steve and Bucky makes sense:
1. "I'm with you till the end of the line"
-something like "till death do us apart". but like, they found each other even after death
2. "Even when I had nothing, I had Bucky"
-there was a point in time where all steve had was bucky
3. "I knew him"
-one word was all it took for bucky to remember at least a little bit of him
-same goes for "im with you till the end of the line" for breaking 70-90 (idk) years of brainwash and programming
4. steve killing himself shortly after bucky died
-the plane, he could've jumped. he would've survive that
5. steve doing everything it takes to save bucky
-pretty self-explanatory
6. "but you're keeping the outfit right"
-thats pretty gay of bucky yk. steve's outfit were tights
7. do i need to mention the ever so loving looks they give each other
8. it just makes sense

ahh the ol reliable. the classic bokoblin. he is just a little lad! unfortunately they’re genuinely kind of ugly??? and the idk the singular horn in the middle aint a good look. i see cute comics abt these guys being domestic and thats adorable but also giving them so much leeway bc they’re really Not that cute. not sure what the loincloth is hiding and im not sure i wanna know anyway. 3/10 really kind of. not good.

ok bypassing whatever the fuck rule 34 has done to these guys, i actually dig them. i find the huge fat ones way cuter than the lil bug eyed ones. in their case theres rlly no, like... hotness about them. its just cute. i think they’re cute. any monster that is cute and also doubles up as a bed gets my vote 7/10 get urself a fella as flexible as these guys

ok this one is by FAR the sexiest of all the blights. i just cant explain it. i like guys with bad posture. i had an easy time beating it but apparently its given other people a lot of grief and that makes it 10x more sexy to me lmaooo. also it can clone itself which is like. thats a win. 8/10 ganon spilt all the sexy juice into this one
