In one episode, they just happen to get trapped together somewhere, talk for like ten seconds and start dating immediately afterwards. Basically the same as Alya×Nino bc none of the ships in this show (other than Lukanette and Adrigami) had any sort of meaningful developement before happening

I’m positive Ivan especially will be beefed up. The civilian models are really awkward at times and clearly not prepared to be put in onesies (it’s hard to explain and maybe someone more experienced with propotions/anatomy will be able to say it better, but their limbs don’t have a lot of “shape” to them I guess?).

(Alternatively, another heroine is victimized and Ladybug is visibly jealous/her annoyance at Chat is treated like jealousy.)

I’m not adding this to the spreadsheet just because a scene like that is too dicey for a kid’s show (though, believe me, if it were to happen, I’m putting that on it’s own damn card), but I will say that this would 100% happen if this were an anime/aimed towards an older audience.

I just had a horrible thought that they’ll do the episode like--

Chloe treats Sabrina terribly like usual, Sabrina ditches Chloe and Chloe is miserable + takes it out on everyone else for it, then Chloe gets akumatized over it and Sabrina gets the dog (for “loyalty”), which leads to Sabrina going back to Chloe so that Chloe will direct the abuse more solely towards Sabrina because “she takes it out on others otherwise”/she’s “used to it”/”it’s her responsibility and this is the right thing to do.” This will also be presented as the “right choice” and Chloe and Sabrina’s relationship will basically not change for the sake of leaving Chloe the way she is.

Rare Pair Month 2020 Prompts

Hey guys, due to personal reasons I was not able to make an actual calendar for RPM this coming year, but here are the prompts I came up with. Rare Pair Month will start January 1, 2020. It is open to any who want to participate with the following exceptions:

1. No love square. It can be background but the rare ship should be center stage. Akumatized versions or kwami swapped does not count either. If it is any combination of Adrien and Marinette with any miraculous or akuma powers it counts as love square and should not be the focus of this event. Try again in April.

2. No adult/child ships. This should go without saying.

3. No ship bashing. This event is open to any and all non-love square ships, canon or otherwise. If a ship is not your cup of tea, keep your opinions to yourself. Any form of ship hate will be blocked from this event. This includes comments such as, "X pairing sucks I like Y pairing better but this is cute I guess?" Just say, "This is cute" and move on or say nothing.

4. Please do not write salt fics for certain pairings. If a ship is not your jam, don't write or draw art of that ship in a negative way. This event is to celebrate ships, not tear them down. Focus on the ones you enjoy, not the ones you don't.

For the purposes of this event, a rare pair is defined as any ship that is not the love square. So for all intents and purposes DJWifi counts for this event even though they are canon. Ships between classmates/teens of similar ages are fine. Ships of two or more adults is fine. This event was created to celebrate ships other than the love square, so show some other ships some love!

To participate, simply follow the prompts listed below in your creation and use the hashtag #rarepairmonth 2020. Please also note that this event is open to people of all ages. NSFW is allowed, but please put it under a read more and tag it. Platonic ships are also welcome for this event.

Will You Marigami Me: Marigami Week Day 1

Okay, yes, I know this is like a day late for the @marigami-week 2020 day 1 prompt but I’ve had wifi issues all day, don’t @ me

“Here. I trust you.”

Fukō blinks down at the small hexagonal box that’s being offered to her by Scarmony. “M-Me?” she says. “But you picked Foxglove and Princesse Tortue. You always choose the other heroes.”

Behind Scarmony, Princesse Tortue giggles, the fringe of her blonde pixie cut falling in her eyes as she ducks her head. Next to her, Foxglove shifts on the balls of her feet, peeking sideways at Princesse Tortue with reddish-brown eyes.

“I figure it’s time I got your input,” Scarmony says. His blue eyes glimmer playfully behind his spotted scarlet mask as he places the box in her hand but doesn’t let go, giving her the option to back out if she truly wants to do so. That’s one of the things Fukō appreciates about her partner, to be honest: that he doesn’t bluster and try to boss her around like some egomaniac, but rather treats her as though they’re truly equals, such as when he’d told Master Fu off for trying to keep her out of the loop at first.

“If you’re sure, then I won’t let you down.” Fukō slips the little box into a pocket of her black suit. “I’ll find the perfect Bee holder.”

“Well, don’t take too long,” Foxglove says dryly in her usual quiet voice. “Or we’ll just think that you’re trying to hide from the mean akuma while the rest of us get sent to dreamland.”

“Foxy!” Princesse Tortue elbows Foxglove. “Be nice!”

“What?” Foxglove says. “It was a joke. I was kidding.”

“I appreciate your attempt to lighten the heavy atmosphere,” Fukō says. “But I don’t intend to hide. I’m going to find the perfect Bee to paralyse Fatigue and then I’ll be back.”

But who to pick? rings in her head as she leaps through Paris. Scarmony seems to have the talent to pick a frightfully fitting holder for the Miraculouses; Foxglove is quiet and used to skulking, making the most of being a deceptive hero, and Princesse Tortue possesses a loud, vibrating energy that makes her perfect as a hero to draw fire and shield others from that damage. If the Bee’s power is subjection then they’ll need someone quick, both physically and mentally; someone who’s not intimidated by power but will jump in to do what’s right regardless; someone like –

Like Marinette. The thought hits Fukō like a bolt of lightning, and before her brain can catch up with her body, she’s bounding in the direction of the Dupain-Cheng bakery, praying that Marinette’s there and hadn’t ventured out and gotten caught up in Fatigue’s attack. Despite wielding the primordial force of destruction and bad luck, it seems that the universe has granted Fukō her wish, because when she lands on Marinette’s balcony and raps on the hatch door, it swings open after just a few short moments.

“Fukō?” Marinette says with wide eyes. “What’s wrong? Are we in danger from the akuma?”

“No. May I come in?” Fukō waits until Marinette nods before slipping inside and leaping off Marinette’s bed with the grace of the animal that she embodies. Marinette follows down the ladder at a more sedate pace. “We need your help, Marinette.”

“Me?” Marinette points at herself. “What could I possibly do? Unless you’re – oh no – you’re not going to –”

Fukō grins and fishes out the little Miraculous box, then holds it out to an ashen Marinette. “Marinette Dupain-Cheng, I present you with the Miraculous of the Bee. With the power of subjection, you will help our team defeat Fatigue, then return the Miraculous to me after the battle. Can I trust you?”

“W-Why me?” Marinette pushes Fukō’s hand away, her own hand trembling. “My only superpower is super clumsiness! Why not Alya, she’d be a much better superhero –”

“Because being a superhero isn’t dependent on your physical attributes,” Fukō says. “Your mind and soul are what matter. I already know that you have a brilliant mind and you never hesitate to stand up to people like Chloé Bourgeois. You’re exactly the type of wielder we need for the Bee. The Miraculous will take care of any physical shortcomings. You don’t think I can jump off buildings as a civilian, do you?”

Marinette snorts as she chews her lip and frowns at the proffered box, while Fukō holds her breath. Thankfully, after a heart-stopping few moments, Marinette nods, takes the box from Fukō, and snaps it open. Brilliant golden light pours out, making her gasp and shield her eyes, and when the light dies down and materialises into a little bee kwami, Marinette’s rendered speechless.

“Hello, my queen!” The kwami bows. “I am Pollen, at your service!”

“Bug-mouse! Fuzzy bug-mouse!” Marinette jumps away from Pollen, trips on a stray piece of fabric, and would have fallen backwards and collided with her chaise if not for Fukō swooping in to grab her. This close, Fukō can clearly see the freckles that dust Marinette’s cheeks like stars in the night sky, and she can’t help but wonder what it would be like to gently lay Marinette down on the chaise, then count every single freckle with her lips and –

Fukō blinks and resists the urge to shake her head. Where did that thought come from? Clearing her throat, she sets Marinette on her feet and releases her.

“Sorry,” Marinette says shakily. “I understand if you don’t want to work with me –”

“Of course not, my queen,” Pollen says, her blue eyes gleaming. “I’ve seen far stronger reactions in the past. A previous holder attempted to impale me with his sword, so at least you didn’t throw anything at me.”

“O-Okay…” Marinette removes the Bee comb from its box and slides it into her hair. “Um, what do I need to know? How do I transform? What’s my power?”

Fukō smiles. She can most definitely appreciate someone who asks the right questions. “Your special power, from my understanding, allows you to paralyse an opponent. Pollen is the kwami of subjection.”

“Indeed,” Pollen says. “Your Venom will allow you to immobilise one opponent and then you’ll have five minutes before you detransform. And you must simply say “buzz on” to transform.”

“Pollen, buzz on!” When the golden light that encases Marinette fades, Fukō can’t help but look over her outfit. It’s simple but striking, just like Marinette: a tight suit that’s black across her shoulders and upper arms, meeting elbow-length yellow gloves with black fingers, and a yellow torso with a sweetheart neckline and black stripes tapering down her abdomen, yellow thighs with black stripes also tapering down, and knee-length black boots with yellow soles. Her pigtails are striped and tipped with yellow, her bright blue eyes now stare out from behind a simple yellow and black mask that unfortunately hides the freckles on her cheeks, and –

Fukō blinks and wrenches her eyes away before Marinette, who’s now examining her weapon, can realise that she’s openly staring. It wouldn’t do to be seen exhibiting such unprofessional behaviour, especially since she’s never once stared at Foxglove and Princesse Tortue like this. What’s going on with her today?

“Um…” Fukō clears her throat. “Name. You need a name. And then we can go and help Scarmony, Foxglove, and Princesse Tortue.”

“Oh, wow.” Marinette replaces her trompo around her waist. Her gorgeous, shapely waist. Oh no. “You need Foxglove and Princesse Tortue as well? This must be a tough akuma!”

“He can put anyone to sleep with one hit,” Fukō says, praying that her warm cheeks aren’t visibly red. “That’s why we need you to immobilise him. Foxglove and Princesse Tortue are there to distract him and shield us from hits. We really need to return and help. Name! What should we call you?”

Marinette hums. “I never really considered a superhero name for myself. I never even thought I’d be a superhero. What do you think, Fukō?”

Well, if Fukō can choose a name for Marinette, it’ll most definitely be something to do with honey, to reference Marinette’s sweetness. Honeybee? No, that’s far too generic and common for someone like her. Honeycomb? Hmm, close but not quite. What else does Fukō love about Marinette?

Her pastries, whispers an annoying voice in her head. Fukō tries to swat it away. And her buns, as Adrien would say, not that you’d understand that kind of –

“Honeybun!” Fukō blurts out. Marinette blinks.

“Honeybun?” she repeats. Fukō nods and scrambles for an explanation to hide what had just played out in her traitorous brain.

“Yes! Because, um…your parents are bakers! And you like sweet things, and honey is sweet and references bees!”

Tell her that you think she’s sweet as honey, you coward.

Marinette’s face lights up in her signature wide smile. “I like it! Honeybun. It’s sweet and cute, but too much of it and you’ll be sorry.”

I could never have too much of you. Okay, seriously, Fukō’s going to have words with her brain after this. For now, she forces herself to compartmentalise her flustered feelings and she clears her throat.

“Excellent reasoning,” she says. “But we should really go now, before Fatigue catches Scarmony and the others.”

“Right!” Honeybun unslings her trompo and follows Fukō out of the trapdoor and onto the balcony. “So, um…I just jump? Off a tall building? And fall?”

“I’ll catch you if need be,” Fukō says, her lips twitching. Honeybun giggles and hoists herself onto her balcony railing.

“And I trust you to do that a hundred percent. Okay…here goes!”

“I’m just saying Chlo, you and Alix would be really cute together” Adrien said as he and Chloé sat in her bed. “Me and that short skater girl?! Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous!” Chloé said before eating a piece of her fancy chocolates. “Chloé, you can’t fool me.” Adrien told Chloé before walking up to her and taking a piece of chocolate. “So what if I think she’s not as annoying as the others and actually kind of cute in a cool way?” Chloé said, laying onto her bed. “I can’t tell her that” Chloe tells Adrien while hugging her pillow. “Maybe one day you can” Adrien replies, putting a hand on her shoulder. “She’s got it BAD” Adrien thought to himself as he childhood friend laid in her bed, hiding her blushing face with a pillow.

Saving Each Other

Queen Bee’s swinging through Paris with Alix holding on to her until they get to The Louvre. “Here we are!” Queen Bee said as they landed in front. “Thanks Queenie, but you didn’t have to take me” Alix told Queen Bee. “First off, it’s Queen Bee! Second, Ladybug’s the one who told me to take you home” Queen Bee responded before she looked away and started blushing. “You’re lucky I just don’t call you by your real name and Ladybug and Chat Noir didn’t say anything before leaving! You just grabbed me” Alix told Queen Bee. “You should be grateful!” Queen Bee shouted before swinging away. “Never said I wasn’t Bee Girl.” Alix whispered as Queen Bee leaved before going inside. Later that week, Bunnyx was carrying Chloé as she ran from villains that were after her. “Put me down Rabbit! I can take care of myself!” Chloe shouted while holding on to Bunnyx. “I know that! But you don’t need to get hurt before you transform!” Bunnyx replied before finding an empty room and throwing Chloé in it and closing the door. “Thought she’d never put me down!” Chloé says before Pollen flew of her purse. “You like her don’t you, my Queen?” Pollen asked while smirking. “Pollen! Buzz on!” Chloé shouted while blushing even harder.

Their Ice Cream

Marinette Adrien Chloé and Alix were all waiting to get some of Andre Glacier’s Ice Cream. “Why is this taking so long?” Chloe asked getting a bit impatient. “His ice cream is really popular, of course there’s gonna be a line” Marinette told Chloé. “I can’t wait to pick mine!” Alix said, showing her excitement. “Actually Alix, that’s not how it works” Adrien told Alix. “What do you mean?” Alix asked Adrien. “You don’t pick your own flavors, they’re picked for you.” Marinette explained before they realized it was their turn. “Oh Marinette and Adrien! It’s so lovely to see you again! Here you go” Andre said giving them their ice cream. “Who are those two lovely ladies behind you?” Andre asked noticing Chloé and Alix. “They’re friends of ours that haven’t tried your ice cream!” Adrien told Andre before Chloé and Alix walked up to his ice cream crat. “For you, cotton candy for her hair” Andre said to Chloé, giving her the ice cream. “For you, lemon and blueberry swirl for her hair and eyes” Andre said to Alix, giving her the ice cream. “Give them a taste and you’ll both realize” Andre says to both Chloé and Alix. “Realize what?” Alix asked. “You’ll see later on” Andre said before the four of the started to walk off. “This actually tastes pretty good!” Chloé says as she ate her ice cream. “I bet mine is better!” Alix replies as she ate hers. Marinette and Adrien just smiled at the two as they walked.

Playing Hard To Get

“Don’t worry Adrien, I got you!” Ladybug says as she catches Adrien in her arms. “Thanks for the save, My Lady” Adrien said as he put his arms around her neck. Just as they were about to kiss, they hear Chloe shouting. “Don’t you dare even think of trying anything romantic with me!” Chloé shouts at Bunnyx as she was carried by the rabbit-themed heroine. “Whatever, just hold on tight before we go” Bunnyx told Chloé. Adrien then gave Chloé as thumbs up while he was still in Ladybug’s arms. “You’re only taking me home, that’s all!” Chloé said as she started to blush after seeing Adrien’s thumbs up. “Then why are you blushing?” Bunnyx asked while smirking. “Just take me home!” Chloé shouted, hiding her red face with her hands.

Kwami Swap

Lady Noire waited from for Madam Cottontail and Hornet to show up. “I look so much better in this outfit than you!” Madam Cottontail said as she and Hornet jumped across roof tops. “Whatever you say, MC!” Hornet responded before the two landed in front of Lady Noire. “Alright girls, Mister Bug is counting on us!” Lady Noire told them. “So what’s the plan?” Hornet asked the cat heroine. “I go in from the top, you two go in from the back” Lady Noire explained. “No way! No one knows who I am in this outfit! I’m going through the front!” Madam Cottontail says before Hornet uses the spinning top to tie her up. “Go on Lady Noire, we’ll go through the back” Hornet told Lady Noire before she jumped into action. “Can you untie me now?” Madam Cottontail asked Hornet. “Nope” Hornet replied before dragging her to where they needed to be. “she looks so cool!” Madam Cottontail thought to herself as Hornet dragged her off.

Confessions & Kisses

Chloé and Alix were stuck in a room with no way to get out. Their miraculous were taken from them and were being used to fight Ladybug and Chat Noir. “There’s got to be a way out of here!” Alix says while hitting the wall in front of her. “This is all my fault…” Chloé said while hugging her knees to her chest. “Chloé don’t say that, I’m to blame too… we shouldn’t have been arguing with each other in the first place,” Alix says as she walks over to Chloé and puts a hand on her shoulder. Chloé then noticed that Alix’s hand were bruised from hitting the wall. “I’m fine…” Alix told Chloé. Before she could pull her hand away, Chloe places her own hand on top of hers gently. “Chloé?” Alix whispered as Chloe stands up. “In case we don’t make it out of this…” Chloé says as she takes Alix’s other hand, trying not to tear up. “Don’t say that! We’re gonna be fine!” Alix says as Chloé’s eyes start to water. “Let me say that, I’ve always liked you Alix… a lot” Chloé says which surprised Alix. “What?!” Alix responds as she stared wide eyed at Chloé. “Ever since we were younger, I just didn’t know how to tell you how I was feeling! You’re cool, you’re brave, and you’re really tough!” Chloé says before holding one of Alix’s hands with both hands. “I just wanted you to know if something does happen to us!” Chloé said as Alix just stayed quiet. “It’s okay if you don’t feel the same way…” Chloé continues before Alix kisses her on the cheek. “I’ve liked you since the whole heroes day situation, I just didn’t know if these feelings were genuine” Alix told Chloé who was just touching the cheek Alix kissed. “I know for a fact they are now!” Alix said before Chloé starts kissing her on the lips, which caused Alix to kiss back. “Miraculous Ladybug!” Ladybug shouts which caused Chloé and Alix’s prison to disappear and their Miraculous to appear in front of them. The two didn’t notice due to them still kissing. “YES!” Chat Noir shouted which caused Chloé and Alix to pull away, look at Lady and Chat Noir and start blushing.

Their Future Together

“Burnice? Sweetie? Where are you? ” Alix says, playing hide and seek with her youngest daughter. She then looks under the table and shouts, “Found you!” before carefully taking her from under the table. “Aww man!” Burnice said as she hugged her mom. Chloé then walked in the door with their oldest daughter Aziza. “We’re home!” Aziza shouts before Burnice jumps out of Alix’s arms and runs into Chloé’s. “Mama!” Burnice says while hugging Chloé. “Hey mom,” Aziza said before hugging Alix. “How was your day?” Alix asked while hugging Aziza. “Well, mama wouldn’t stop trying to protect me while I was trying to protect her!” Aziza told Alix. “With or without magic powers, I will not let anything happen to my girls!” Chloé says before pulling Aziza and Alix into the hug as well. “Aziza, take your sister upstairs” Alix said before Aziza picks up Burnice and takes her up stairs. “I know something’s bugging you Chlo, out with it” Alix said before she and Chloé sat at their kitchen table. “The last thing I want is Aziza making the same mistakes I made when I started out as a hero” Chloé says before Alix hugs her. “We’ve all made mistakes as heroes, Aziza has to grow into her own hero. Her mistakes will help her become a better one” Alix explained to Chloe before kissing her on the cheek. “Thanks Ally-kins” Chloé says before Pollen and Fluff flew down stairs with Aziza and Burnice running behind them. “I’m the luckiest Mayor Paris has ever had” Chloé said as she and Alix watched their girls play with Pollen and Fluff.

The Best Friend Swap: Chapter 4

The remaining heroes worked diligently to return the relocated citizens to their respective places. When August was reunited with his family, Chat breathed a sigh of relief. It was always rewarding to liberate one of Hawkmoth’s tortured victims. He knew that each Parisian lived in a state of distress. It was paramount for the Miraculous holders to assuage the fears of people lest there be more individuals captured by one of Hawkmoth’s lackeys.

However, fear does not subside simply because one is given a Miraculous; instead, fear tends to increase ten-fold when you’re given the power to make a difference. Like the rest of the holders, Chat constantly felt the pressure that came with the responsibility of protecting the city, and he knew that there were times that Ladybug was nearly crushed by her sense of duty. For this reason, he wanted to protect her...to be the partner that she needed in battle.

True, he didn’t always do what she wanted. Chat still tended to be a little sacrificial at times, but he couldn’t help himself. It was his job as the holder of the Black Cat Miraculous. Nonetheless, he trusted his lady with his life, and he would do anything for her. Marrying her would give him the chance to do the same outside of the mask. That’s why tonight needed to be perfect. He knew that she loved him no matter what, but he wanted this to be the best night of her life.

Unfortunately, the rain started while the heroes were still helping the citizens return to their homes. As a result, some of the decorations had gotten wet by the time the group arrived at the monument.

“If only the Miraculous Cure could work on stuff like this,” Adrien mumbled to himself.

Plagg peeked out from behind his holder’s shirt collar. “And that’s what Tikki and I were trying to teach you with the Atlantis story.”

“Please don’t bring that up ever again.”

“Fine, but the Miraculous Cure still won’t solve all of your problems.”

“Yes, but I don’t need the Miraculous Cure to make my life better. Sometimes it would be convenient...like being able to fix the soggy decorations. However, I have a wonderful group of people who will help and support me. Together, we can figure it out. After all, Marinette always says that there’s a solution to every problem.”

“And that’s the real lesson here, kid,” the Kwami declared, “You don’t have to go through anything on your own. These people will always be there for you...just like Marinette...and me.”

“I love you, too, Plagg,” Adrien chuckled, “Now, let��s get to work!”

He and the rest of the team worked unceasingly to decorate the indoor deck at the top of the Eiffel Tower. After several hours, he watched Kagami take a step backward as he and Luka hung the banner across a beam.

“How does it look?” Adrien asked with a strained voice, holding the banner above his head.

After taking a moment to assess their work, she nodded. “Luka needs to raise his side a little, but otherwise it’s fine.”

Adrien secured his half to the beam and allowed his arms to flop to his sides. He released a heavy sigh and surveyed the space around him.

“This place looks incredible, everyone.” he announced to the room full of Miraculous holders, “I can’t thank you enough for your help. I would not have been able to do this without each of you.”

Luka patted Adrien on the shoulder. “Anytime, friend. We’re not just superheroes who work together, we're a family...and family members always help each other out.”

Adrien paused before continuing. “You know what? You’re right. We are a family, and I would be honored if all of you would celebrate with us tonight.”

Kim walked over and slung his arm around Adrien’s shoulders. “You can count me in! We’ve been watching you two drool over each other for years, and I know I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time.”

The rest of the holders nodded in agreement.

Alya cleared her throat. “As wonderful as this tender moment is to watch, Adrien and I have fifteen minutes to get to his father’s house.”

Adrien pulled his phone out of his pocket and tapped the screen to see the time. “Jeez, she’s right. We have to go, but I hope you’ll all be here later. Once again, thank you.”

The Ladyblogger grabbed the model’s arm and dragged him to the elevator before he could say anything else. He toyed with the ring’s box in his pocket and breathed away another bout of nervousness.

“It’s almost time,” he thought to himself.

Nino checked the clock on his phone for the thirteenth time. “Marinette, we have to leave right now if we’re going to make our two o’clock appointment.”

Marinette grabbed a few more daffodils to shove into the bouquet she was helping him to construct. “Oh, calm down! We lost a little bit of time with the Akuma attack, but I think what we’re doing now is a little bit more important than whatever Adrien has planned for us to do.”

“No, it’s not. He will not be happy if we miss this.”

“Okay! Okay! What exactly does my boyfriend have us doing together?”

“Uhhhh….you’ll see.”

Marinette giggled. “Fine. Keep your secrets.”

Nino tapped his foot on the ground and released a shaky breath. “We have to go.”

She gently turned the flowers in her hands and observed her handiwork. She felt satisfied with the fullness of the brightly colored bouquet of daffodils and daisies.

Marinette finally turned to Nino and shook her head. “It’s ready. I just hope she likes it.”

The nervous DJ grabbed the flowers from her hand, rushed up to the counter, and pulled out his wallet. “It’s beautiful, and she’ll love it...but we have to go right now.”

Seconds after the cashier handed Nino his change, he took Marinette’s hand and dragged her out of the flower shop. To her surprise, one of the Agreste family cars was waiting for them by the curb.

“Why did Adrien send us a car?” she questioned, “We didn’t follow the schedule at all. How did he know where to send it?”

“I told him where we were.” Nino opened the door and pulled her inside the car.

“Where are we going? Why do we need to go by car?”

“Look, he didn’t want us to get wet in the rain. Please stop asking questions that I’m not allowed to answer. Just go with the flow.”

“What do you mean you’re not allowed to answer?”

“Marinette!” he groaned.

She crossed her arms and playfully rolled her eyes. “Well, whatever he has planned, let’s hope that he hasn’t gone overboard.”

Nino turned his head and mumbled. “It’s too late for that.”

“What did you say?”

“Nothing!”

“Why is everyone so weird today?”

Hoping for a response, Marinette looked at Nino, but he continued to look out the window at the passing scenery. She slumped in her seat and released a huff.

“Do you remember the plan?” she said, breaking the silence that had settled between them.

The DJ whipped his head around and bit his lip. “What plan are you talking about?”

Marinette knitted her brows. “We only talked about one plan. OH! Are you talking about Adrien’s plan for tonight?”

“NO!” He waved his hands wildly.

She chuckled. “Don’t worry. I literally have no clue what’s going on. I promise that I haven’t figured anything out. I should have known that my boyfriend would have something up his sleeve. He always does stuff like this. No, I’m talking about your plan for Alya.”

Nino breathed a sigh of relief. “Got it. That plan. Yes, I remember.”

“I’m just excited that they still had space available for that moonlit cruise on the Seine tomorrow night.”

“Me, too. I also can’t believe that you were able to talk to the owner and convince him to let me play a song for her.”

“If we’re being honest, working for one Agreste and dating another one has its perks. I’ve made a lot of connections. I can’t even imagine having a last name that powerful.”

“Well, you should.” Nino clapped his hands over his mouth the moment the words escaped his lips. “I mean...uhm…one day you’re going to be a super famous designer right? You’ll be a household name. Yup...it has nothing to do with being an Agreste...psh...like...could you imagine?”

“Wow...you are not good under pressure, are you? Adrien must have something big planned.”

“I am not at liberty to say,”

“So...it is something big...isn’t it?”

“You know what? I’m just going to stop talking now.”

Marinette rolled her eyes and rested her head against the window. She pressed her forehead against the cool glass and allowed her mind to wander. She felt the faint sensation of anticipation bubbling in her gut, and while she didn’t know why, the feeling put a smile on her face. Anything her wonderful, dorky boyfriend did made her smile (except when he put himself in harm's way during battle). She loved him more than anything, and she looked forward to their “happily ever after”. Sure, she and Adrien had talked about marriage before, but they never made any solid plans.

“Maybe I’ll have to start dropping some hints,” she thought, “Perhaps I’ll have Alya help me with that.”

For now, she was content with where they were. Over the years, they had grown significantly as individuals and as a couple. At the beginning of their relationship, it broke her heart to see Adrien so desperate for love. She can still see the fear in his eyes every time they had quibbled over something small. Even more so, she remembers all the times he had lapsed into a panic attack when they argued over a bigger issue. Eventually, he began to believe that there was nothing that would make her stop loving him.

She was drawn to him like a moth to a flame. Just as the moon moves the oceans, she was caught in the gravity created by his love. Adrien was magnetic, and she happily stayed by his side. Marinette knew that she would love him for the rest of her life, and she was glad that he finally knew that, as well.

The car came to a stop, and the change in movement broke Marinette out of her lovesick reverie. She laughed upon seeing their destination.

“Why on earth are we at the Gabriel flagship store?” she began, “Adrien knows this is my day off, right?”

Nino grunted in frustration. “You know I can’t answer any of your questions! Please just come with me.”

“Oh, alright.”

“Thank you!”

They both exited the vehicle and made their way into the building. Once inside, they were greeted by several friendly associates and a very exuberant stylist.

“Good afternoon, Mademoiselle Dupain-Cheng,” the man said with a smile, “Please come with me so we can get your hair and make-up done before we help you put on your dress.”

“Dress?” she asked, looking back at Nino.

“Why yes!” the stylist exclaimed, “Monsieur Agreste was very specific about tonight’s look.”

With a flourish, the man grabbed a garment bag off of the rack. He then carefully unzipped it, revealing its contents.

Marinette gasped. “Oh, kitty. What on earth do you have planned for us tonight?”

Luckily, the rain stopped just as Adrien and Alya finished with the stylists. They stood next to the road waiting for Marinette and Nino to arrive.

Alya had picked out a black knee-length cocktail dress with lace sleeves and intricate beading on the bodice. Adrien wore a black tailored suit with a deep red tie.

He knew that he looked ready for tonight, but he was beginning to question whether or not he felt ready for tonight. Adrien wanted to do this, but he was afraid that his words would fail him when the time came...and that he would wind up screaming the question and throwing the ring box at Marinette. (That was only one of many scenarios that were running through his mind.)

Adrien paced back and forth in front of the curb. He fiddled with his cufflinks in an attempt to keep his hands out of his styled hair. He swallowed and released a shaky breath.

A hand on his shoulder stopped him in his tracks. Adrien turned to see Alya shaking her head with a smirk on her face.

“You are going to put a hole in the ground if you don’t stop,” she teased.

Plagg plopped down on Adrien’s shoulder. “Yeah, kid. Making holes in the ground is my job. Right now, your job is to stand here and look pretty until your lady love arrives. Got it?”

Trixx popped her head out of Alya’s hair. “Aren’t you a model? Standing still really shouldn’t be a problem for you.”

Adrien threw his head back and groaned. “I know! I know! I’m just so nervous. Like, my tongue feels kind of fuzzy, and I’m suddenly aware of the fact that I can’t feel my earlobes.”

“That’s...different,” Alya turned to Plagg, “I think he’s broken.”

“It wouldn’t be the first time.” The Kwami flew in front of his holder’s face and poked Adrien’s nose with his paw. “Do you remember the time you finally worked up the courage to ask out Marinette on a date?”

“Yeah, I couldn’t feel my elbows that time,” Adrien’s eyes grew wide, “OHMYGOD, PLAGG! IT’S SPREADING!”

Plagg growled, “No, kid, it’s not. Think...what I did to snap you out of it last time?”

“Ummm, you bit…” Adrien’s hands flew to his ears, “Do not bite my ears, Plagg. Your teeth leave marks, and we have a photographer here tonight.”

“I will not hesitate to take matters into my own hands if you start spiraling again. Understood?”

“Ugh...yeah.”

Trixx giggled. “Do you remember the time you bit that soldier in that little American town...what was it called again?”

Plagg sighed wistfully. “You’re thinking of Concord, Massachusetts. Now THAT was a fun time.”

“Do you even know who you bit?”

“Nope. I do know that it spooked the guy so much that it caused him to fire his musket. Ahhh...the chaos that erupted after that was truly beautiful.”

“Wait a minute...I remember reading about that town in World History one time.” Alya feverishly typed on her phone. “Aha! Here it is...blah blah blah...shot heard around the world...yadda yadda...hold on...Plagg, did you start the American Revolution?”

Adrien turned to her with a deadpan expression. “He also sunk Atlantis.”

“What? How?”

“God, no. Please don’t ask for details.”

Plagg crossed his arms. “Hey! First of all, I didn’t bring it up this time...you did! I kept my promise. Second, Tikki was part of the whole Atlantis thing. You can’t pin it all on me.”

“Yes, but Tikki was not the one who Cataclysmed the support beams,” Adrien noted.

Plagg squinted. “Okay, that’s technically true.”

“Hey, you two,” Alya chimed in, “Shut up! I think Marinette and Nino just pulled up.”

Adrien could feel his heartbeat throughout his body. He swallowed hard, but it didn’t help. When Marinette stepped out of the car, he lost the ability to breathe. He knew she would look good in the dress when he picked it out for her, but he didn’t know that she would look this resplendent.

She wore a deep red evening gown with an asymmetrical skirt. The bodice clung perfectly to her form while thick sleeves draped off her shoulders. Her hair was fashioned into a cascade of raven curls, and a delicate silver chain sporting a diamond pendant rested on her neck.

They locked eyes. She smiled, ran over to him, and pulled him into a hug. “Hey, kitty. You sure do clean up well.”

He rested his cheek on her hair. “I know I call you “Princess”, but tonight you look like actual royalty.”

“Does that make you my Prince Charming?”

“Maybe...or perhaps I’m just a lowly knight looking to sweep his lady off her feet.”

“Why can’t you be both?”

“I will be whatever you want me to be, Bugaboo.”

She pressed her nose against his. “I think I’d be content if you were the love of my life.”

“Done.” Adrien leaned in and placed a gentle peck on her lips, eliciting a giggle from Marinette.

“If you two lovebirds are quite finished,” Alya interrupted, “I think we have a dinner reservation to keep.”

“Here?” Marinette asked, “At the Eiffel Tower? WAIT...are we finally eating in the 58 Tour Eiffel Restaurant!? Did you get us a table overlooking the Trocadero? I’ve always wanted to do that.”

Adrien scratched the back of his neck. “Ummm...not exactly, but it’s something like that. Follow me and you’ll find out.”

He reached for her hand, but she pulled away and turned towards the car. “Hold on! Before we do anything else, Nino has something to say! Come on out, Nino!”

The dapper-looking DJ stepped out of the vehicle holding the massive bouquet of daisies and daffodils in one hand and a silver envelope in the other. He walked over to Alya and chuckled nervously.

“Hey, babe.” He thrust the bouquet and the envelope into Alya’s arms. “These are for you!”

The Ladyblogger cradled the flowers and gave her boyfriend a kiss on the cheek. “My silly, boy. What have you been up to today?”

“There’s more, but you’ll have to wait until tomorrow.” He looked at the ground while he spoke.

“Is this what you’ve been doing instead of the scheduled activities?” Adrien asked while still holding Marinette.

She grinned. “Nino wanted to do something romantic for Alya, so I decided to help him. I hope you don’t mind.”

“I don’t mind at all, Princess. It’s very sweet. You’re always thinking about others. That’s one of the reasons I love you so much.”

“Good...because he was hoping to sweep her off her feet like you are currently doing for me right now.”

Alya put a hand on Nino’s cheek. “Consider me successfully swept, wonderful you.”

“Really?” Nino leaned into her touch.

She placed a lingering kiss on his lips. “Yes.”

Adrien looked at the group. “Shall we continue this conversation over dinner? I’m really interested to hear about everything you two did today.”

“Of course, kitty. Lead the way!” Marinette giggled.

The group walked towards the Parisian monument and boarded the first elevator. Marinette was shocked when Adrien led her to the second elevator that would take them to the top of the tower. When they arrived at the indoor deck, they were greeted by a room full of family and friends.

Marinette turned to Adrien. “What have you done, minou? What are all of these people doing here?”

He smiled. “They’re here to celebrate us.”

Adrien stepped closer to Marinette and took her hands in his own. She emitted a small gasp as he got on one knee and looked up at her.

“Princess,” he began with a twinkle in his eye, “when my life fell apart five years ago, I didn’t know if I would ever be able to recover, but you never left my side. Through my darkest days, you were a beacon of light. I have loved you since the day I met you, but your patience and understanding made me fall even more in love with you. Unfortunately, you and I live in a world of uncertainty. We never know when the next threat will come our way, and we will never know what tomorrow brings. There are so many things that we will never know. However, the one thing I do know is that I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

He released her hands and pulled the ring out of his pocket. As he opened the box, Marinette covered her mouth and suppressed a happy sob.

“Marinette,” he took a deep breath, “will you marry me?”

She nearly tackled him to the ground as she fell to her knees and yanked him into a tight embrace. “Yes! Yes! A million times, yes!”

He laughed and lifted Marinette to her feet and slipped the ring onto her finger. She grabbed his cheeks and pulled him in for a kiss.

The room erupted into cheers and applause. Adrien could almost hear the fireworks going off inside him.

He pulled away from Marinette and looked out the window. “No, those are actual fireworks,” he thought to himself.

Alya leaned over and whispered in Adrien’s ear. “I thought you said there weren’t going to be any pyrotechnics tonight.”

“I did,” he mumbled, “I don’t know where they came from.”

Trixx poked out of Alya’s hair. “That was me! I remember you talking about them this morning, and I thought you might like them! They’re not real, but they sure look like they are!”

Alya nuzzled her Kwami. “Awww, you’re the best.”

Marinette turned towards Nino. “You knew everything, didn’t you?”

Nino chuckled. “Yeah, I was doing my best to keep my cool, but I messed up a few times.”

She pulled him into a crushing hug and then turned to her best friend. “Thank you both for helping to make this night so special.”

Alya embraced Marinette. “Anything for you, girl, but I have to be honest. It wasn’t just us who helped out with tonight. Everyone in this room had a hand in this.”

Adrien nodded. “It’s true. The other Miraculous holders helped with the decorations. My dad and Nathalie made sure our outfits were ready, and your parents made a cake.”

Nino’s eyes lit up. “Yes! The Dupain-Chengs made a cake. We have to go eat some of that.”

Alya rolled her eyes, grabbed her boyfriend’s hand, and started to drag him away. “Come on. Let’s go mingle.”

Marinette turned to her fiancé and wrapped her arms around his neck. “And thank you, kitty...for making me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”

He rested his forehead against hers. “No, thank you for always being there for me.”

“Now, we get to be there for each other forever.”

“Forever...I like the sound of that.”

She beamed. “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you, Adrien Agreste”

He leaned in and gave her another kiss on the lips. “I love you, too, Marinette Dupain-Cheng...today, tomorrow, and always.”

ML season 3 review: Oni-chan

(Spoilers below)

-SECOND 1 AND I ALREADY HATE LILA.

-Nino no! You got dragged into her web.

-Alya looking to see Marinette crawling to spy on Lila and Adrien made me laugh.

-Lila bypassing the bodyguard.

-Marinette went from Phone thief to bike thief. Juleka just accepted it. Its a good thing Juleka and Luka don't talk at all or Marinette might actually lose points.

-Tikki telling her to chill. But Marinette is 100% right. Someone will get hurt.

-an A- in Math Adrien. How is that your worst grade? Yet you are so DENSE!

-And the bike is gone.

-Lila actually showing GOOD lying skills so far. The best lies have a pinch of truth. This is Lila from Volpina. Not that weak sauce Chameleon.

-Adrien is just like ‘Are you serious?!’

-SPIDER MARI! Pff

-Marinette is scary determined. Stacking LEGEND!!!

- The fireman being logical.

-Marinette fixes the trash like a good girl. Now she hides to transform.

-Plagg telling Adrien the cat fight is inevitable.

-Lila, you dumb. Ladybug is trying to save you.

-Chat noir got rekt. Which considering Kagami just CUT A TREE IN HALF earlier. I can kind of understand why.

-What even is that power? Lila got a horn

-ONI CHAN CAN TELEPORT? SHE WILL ALWAYS FIND YOU LILA.

-Is it wrong I want Kagami to win?

-anytime someone points out the horn. Oni-chan slips into their DMs and swaps places

-Chat noir is Jealous of himself. I agree with chat noir.

-”ADRIEN IS PERFECTION INCARNATE!” Is that Kagami or the writers saying that one.

-In a billboard of himself. “WHAT ARE YOU SMILING ABOUT.” Chat noir and Fireman are tied for best character.

-Lila confirmed will give up on Adrien if Ladybug is gotten rid of. The horn didn't grow.

-Hawkmoth is impressed with Lila’s evil. DAMN IT HAWKMOTH

-DID ONI-CHAN JUST SNATCH HER CHARM!? Reasons why you don't summon it in front of the bad guy.

-CHAT NOIR LEARNING A LESSON. CHAT SCOLDS LILA. GOOD S***

-Fireman is amazing. I love him

-Chat noir. Stops fight. Covers phone “Its the girl of my dream.” Chat noir you extra and I love you.

- It was obvious, yet a creative take down of an akuma.

-Chat noir didnt pound it. WOW, um... I... I can't... WHAT?!

-”Watch Lila, she breathes like she lies” ROASTED

-Chagami, it was cute. (I don't ship it, but it was cute)

- Marinette learned a minor lesson, to trust Adrien. Which is fine, and a fair lesson. I am glad she actually didn't have any direct intervention in this.

-BUT ADRIEN LEARNED THE BIG LESSON OF THE DAY. DONT TRUST LILA.

-Adrien giving that scolding to Lila.

-Adrigami moment is cute and Kagami is a sweet heart.

-GABRIEL AND LILA WORKING TOGETHER. F********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

-Gabriel better be planning on sacrificing her to revive his wife or this loses more points.

-Overall, I give it an 8/10

Pros: Adrien actually LEARNED something today. Lila’s Lies were actually better done then in chameleon and she establishes herself as a threat better here.

We got to see WHY Kagami likes Adrien. At least a little bit.

The akuma fight was cool and creative.

Chat noir and Adrien calling out Lila.

Chat noir and the Fireman stole the show

Marinette made me laugh a lot this episode

Cons:

I wish it wasn't jealousy, but I knew it was going to be.

Chat noir didnt pound it. And that is terrible.

Gabriel showing how awful of a father he actually is

Lila didn't get enough of a comeuppance. She got a partner.

how the kwami swap shoulsve gone

instead of saying whh has it easier or why ladybug doesn’t make jokes(she litterly makes puns and calls him kitty but idk whatever)

it starts with ladybug getting a ton of praise from everyone while chat sorta chills in the background. their miraculouses beep and boom, they both gotta go. as they go away Ladybug asks chat whats the matter cus she can tell he’s a lil upset. He makes some comment about why does she even need him for, she can do perfectly fin without him. She says that its not the truth and that he’s a super important part of the team. He says yeah right and mentions how his cataclysm almost fucked up her luck charm. she says thats just one instance and they argue a lil more and then sorta seperate.

The stuff with juleka is basically the same but when they ask adrian to help, he is a little more eager because he wants to feel useful and Mari wants to help Juleka because she is trying to help her feel better that way she couldnt help chat.

But Juleka gets nervous, the kids sorta rush Mari and Adrien into the shoot, they leave behind their miraculous.

The swap happens, Mari getting the chat one first. Adrien meets tikki and is like noo you need to take it to Ladybug Im not cut out to be ladybug. cut to mari being lady noir and then tikki says theres no other choice and gives him this little pep talk about how master fu chose him for a reason.

The fight starts and at first adrien hits himself in the face and is awkward. Mari automatically starts acting chat like as an attempt to show him he can do this. when her goofing around doesnt help, when they are ducked to the side she gives adrien a pep talk saying he can do it. He is a part of this team and she knows he has what it takes. He takes a breath and nods, takes the mirror and looks around. He see the little coin slot thing and you get the adrien vission pointing it out. Also in black in white adrien vision he looks around sees the slit, looks down at the mirror it lights up and then himself in the reflection lights up and he nods at himself reassuringly He tell mari how shell need her help, “Can you get me in there my ladynoir,” “You can count on me buggaboy”.

they defeat the sentimontser and reflekta. Adrien catches the akuma and says, “I always wanted to do this” still. Mari says, “Told you were an important part of the team” or something similar.

They switch back the same, except maybe a bit where mari says, “I guess chat isn’t as cool and confident as he acts” to plagg and plagg says something about how there nothing to lift your spirits like changing routine” similar to thr original but a lil different.

they go back and the rest of the ep goes the same.

Looking for a Beta for some of my fics.

These being:

Switch-A-Roo: 4/11 chapters. 14,326 words. Adrien Agreste. Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Tikki. Plagg. Kwami swap. Before Reflekdoll came out. Original designs. Different weapons. [Those 4 chapters are currently under revision, which is what I’m looking for a beta for, and have much more words. I am looking for a beta for all further chapters.]

Roughly 3 years ago, Hawkmoth sent out the first akuma, sending the entire city of Paris into a panicked frenzy. Now, almost three years later, so much has changed...

The two heroes who had fought against Hawkmoth, Ladybug and Chat Noir, have brought in two other heroes and have gained so much experience.

Tikki has always been a sticker for rules: don’t tell anyone your identity, stay on a need to know basis, dot use your powers unhindered, and don’t switch miraculous.

Plagg... Well, Plagg couldn’t care less about the rules. If he can sleep, or cause mischief, he’s all good. But, what no one knows, is that Plagg has a soft heart... and, seeing his kit in pain, emotional or not, doesn’t sit right... especially when he can’t even have any fun.

(In which Plagg shows a soft side, and just wants to have fun before it ends... not that he’ll let his time with his kits end so early.)

The Death Of Ladybug: not on AO3.

(Adrien walks down an empty street in the middle of nowhere, reflecting on the events of the week. On all the horrible events. Ok the death of his love. The return of the miraculous. His self banishment.

He used to walk with someone with him. Now all that walks beside him is his shadow, The only thing he can hear is his heart; along this Boulevard of Broken Dreams.)

SNEAK PEAK:

[Adrien was struggling to keep his mind empty, not wanting to think about the last two weeks. It was too painful. Everything was too painful.

Blinking, he sees the road he’s been walking for the first time. It was a long, desolate, abandoned road, so very far from Paris. From the mansion. From his friends. From the miraculous... from her-

No, he can’t think of that! Shaking his head to rid himself of those thoughts, he realizes that he has done that exact thing five times in half as many minutes. Sighing, he restarts his mindless cycle of removing all thoughts from his head. Accessing that legendary “nothing box” part of his brain that so many people have complained about.

But, his mind has finally been activated and he can no longer stay inside his nothing box. So, wanting to remain as far away from those thoughts, he focuses on the things in front of him.

The lonely road...

Suddenly, the lyrics of a song he heard not too long ago popped into his head.

’I walk a lonely road, the only one that I have ever known’

Seeing the road in front of him, completely desolate, except for him, this couldn’t be more true. Now, he didn’t really know this road, not for certain, but it does seem familiar. Just so similar to the roads he used to walk before-

No! He can’t think of that.

’I don’t know where it goes, but it’s home to me and I walk alone’

Seeing that he is no longer home, and is now homeless, this new, yet familiar road is his home.

Walking alone. He’s always done that. All his life. Neglect from his father. Next to no friends. House staff not conversing in anything. Nathalie not really ever caring for him. The only person that has ever walked beside him was constantly was his mother and Plagg...

He stops in his walking, tilting his head slightly. He should be crying, or at least sad about those statements. But he’s not. He doesn’t really feel anything. Nothing, really. Even then, thinking about his mother had come more easily and hurt less than what happened just over two weeks ago.

Just a week ago, his knees would have buckled from just even thinking of the mere thought of it. That’s why he’s avoiding it at all costs. He doesn’t deserve emotions after what happened. He doesn’t deserve the luxury of collapsing. Not after that.

‘I walk this empty street, on the boulevard of broken dreams, where the city sleeps, and I’m the only one and I walk alone’

Broken dreams. That stuck out. How many times has he dreamt of freedom? Too many to count. How many times had he dreamt of love? Even more so. Having the latter dream ripped so suddenly from him- his knees start to wobble, so he focuses on something else. Something that isn’t that. The miraculous. That gave him freedom. Losing that freedom-

Nope! His knees are wobbling too much!

Something else! Think of something else! Anything else! He silently chides himself. Resisting the urge to collapse through sheer will power, even as his body is pleading for rest. There is no rest for the wicked.

That gave him more stability.

‘Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me. ‘Til then I walk alone’ the lyrics came without warning this time. He doesn’t want to listen to them, but it’s within his mind. There is no escape. Not this time.

A foreign feeling starts to push against his eyes. Not knowing how to deal with this, since it’s been so long since he’s felt anything, he looks up to the sky. Hoping that it’ll keep this from coming. He’s scared of whatever this is. He doesn’t want it.

Looking up into the sky, he feels a wetness start to trickle down his face. He wonders why that could happen. It’s not even raining.

Is he crying?! This doesn’t feel like what he thinks he remembers. Is this what crying feels like after such a long time?

As he’s looking up into the sky, his tears falling down his face, any other memories he could’ve retained from that song are lost to the nothing box, to be forgotten for all eternity.

With his mind more active than it had been in days, memories start to break through his fortified will. Completely unwanted.

THE fight. THE loss. It’s threatening to break through his carefully crafted shields. So, once again, he shifts his focus. This time, to Paris.

Everyone knew about what happened. He really just doesn’t want to think about it.

Right now, in Paris. Nino is most likely worried sick, since he had left his phone at home as well as turned it off. He left anything identifiable. His wallet, stamped with the Gabriel logo. Any clothes stamped with the Gabriel logo. Left his room spotless-his steps faltered at that- clean. Super, super clean.

He had even cut his hair into a messy, uneven, short shell of his normal style. Making him completely unrecognizable to anyone. Nino wouldn’t be able to recognize him, neither would Alya. He even takes pride in the fact that he believes that not even Mari-]

Pain Splitter: not on AO3. Just hanging out in my google docs with The Death of Ladybug.

(Akumatized Adrien! When Adrien suffers an injury while in an akuma battle, and the restoration doesn’t fix it, things happen. Emotions churn. And things are revealed.)

SNEAK PEAK:

CRACK! his head slammed into a brick wall again, making his already foggy brain more unfocused. He stands back up, wobbling On his feet a little bit, his pupils blown wide. “Ouch.”

He stumbles against the wall, resting his forearm against it for support. So far, this akuma is… what’s the word… Anyway, he’s been knocked around way too much, even by Chat Noir… umm… word...ummm… Standards! Chat shakes his head and immediately regrets it as his head explodes into a world of unbearable pain. He clutches his head and lets out a horrible scream. Then he slides onto the ground.

“-t!...-t” Hmm. Someone is saying something, but he doesn’t want to move. Moving hurts. He doesn’t like to hurt. It’s not fun.

“-AT!” Its getting louder. Loud hurts. Hurting isn’t fine he likes fun. So he doesn’t want to hurt.

“CHAT!” His head snaps up, and it immediately… hurts a lot. It’s too hard to think of bud things. This way is fine.

Suddenly, a blur of red lands beside him. Ow, no. No blur. Blur hurts. Hurt isn’t fun.

He pushes away the offending blur with a small whimper. Huh, he can whimper. That’s new!... wait… is it?

“Chat?” There it is again but this time it’s not loud. That’s good, loud hurts… That name. No, he doesn’t want to Chat… but that voice. He’d do anything for that voice.

“Chat Noir?” It says again. Is he missing something. Chat Noir?... wait. That’s him!

He blinks a few times and the red blur morphs into a girl.

Woah, awesome. I Wanna do that!

“Do what?” This girl asks. What?! She read his mind!

“No. I didn’t. You said that.” Huh. Apparently the shapeshifting blur likes to lie.

The blur sighs. “Can you use Cataclysm?” It asks.

…

“What?”

“Cataclysm.”

“...um….big word….uhh… ummm…”

The blur looks at him funny. He. Hehe. “Hehehehehehe.”

“What?”

“Heh. Funny.”

“Oo-kaaayyyy” She says that word funny. Hmm.

“So, Cataclysm?”

“Cat-a-What-now?” Cat… it’s a familiar word.

Why?

The blur sighs. “Okay, repeat after me.”

“Who’s me?” The blur is very tricky. Why can’t they just be good.

It sighs again. It’s does that a lot.

“Cat…”

Hey, I can say that! “Cat…”

“A”

“A” this is weird.

“Clysm.”

… word. Bad word! Very bad. It hurts!

“Cl…”

“Cl?...” that’s a weird noise.

“Is”

“Is…”

“Mmm”

I can do that noise. Reminds me of cookies “Mmm”

Suddenly his hand goes all black. Want it black before? Anyway, it has black bubbles now.

“Can I touch?” He wants to touch it.

“No!” He winces. That was loud. Loud is hurt. Hurt is not fun. Not fun is bad… Apparently this blur can make loud, bad noises easily.

“Oh.” His face suddenly deflates… and it deflates! Why is it deflating. Wait… what is deflating? Anyway, bad thing!

The blur sighs again. “Here, touch this.”

“Yeah!!!” He winces hard as the blur seems to turn into everything. Suddenly a thing is pressed into his hand. The one with the bubbles. The thing, whatever it was, is now gone… along with the bubbles.

“Nooo! My bubbles!” They were so cool too!

“Okay, lets go somewhere.”

“No! I want the bubbles!” He flops onto the floor, but regrets it because now he hurts. He’s regretting a lot of things.

Something picks him up, and he lets out a surprised mew. More like surprising mee, because he did not know that he can mew like a kitten.

“Iiii’mmmm aaa Kkkiiiittttyyhhghbggb.” He coughs as a strangely bad yet good tasting thing his his mouth.

Depressed and Feral: Hanging out in my notes, with many other fics. This takes place after the events of Desperada. It explores the effects that , I personally believe, Desperada left on Adrien.

A trumpet sounds, and a bloom of gold dust erupts from his right. It sends Adrien into a panic, and he tries to pull Ladybug back. But, before he can pull her far enough, another trumpet sounds and then she turns into dust.

He almost breaks down on the spot, then and there, but he pulls himself together enough to pull back the snake head.

A hiss sounds through his ears, and then he’s in the sewer again, looking into Ladybug’s eyes.

“We now have five minutes, within this time range, you can go back as many times as you want. But as-“

He envelopes her in a vice-like, crushing hug, one he’s found himself doing multiple times already. A thousand times already.

15,462 times already. 15,462 times he’s had to witness her being captured. 15,462 times he’s seen his own failure. 15,462 times he’s failed her.

Suddenly, the man hole cover opens, and a trumpet sounds, and Ladybug is enveloped in a plume of gold dust.

Adrien wakes up with a bloodcurdling scream, covered in a cold sweat.

He looks over to Plagg, and all that comes to mind is: “Perfect team huh?”

Those mocking, sad eyes are looking at him with pity. He can’t handle it. Not now.

So, with a shiver, he turns around to look at his phone. Holding that he got more than 30 minutes of sleep.

01:01 it reads, and he sighs in frustration and dispare. Frustration because he can’t get enough sleep, despite being constantly tired. Dispare because it hadn’t even been a minute after he fell asleep and he already had a night terror.

Shaking, he tries to pull off his covers and sheets to get to the shower to wash the sweat off, but the sheets cling to his feet and legs.

After a minute of struggling, he finally Rios them off and slides to the ground on unsteady feet.

Slowly, he makes his way over to the bathroom, dutifully ignoring whatever look Plagg is sending him. Whether it be pain, pity, or sadness. He can’t look at those green eyes again.

Not for a long while.

Even if the events of Desperada happened two and a half months ago. Just the name alone sends a severe shake down his spine.

He turns the water on hot and strips his clothing before slipping under the warm streams of water.

He lets the water wash away his thoughts. Clear his mind of anything and everything.

Normally he would go out as Chat Noir to ease his mind. But... ever since Party Crasher...

He couldn’t even save her then... how can he save her from anything else...?

Another shiver racks his body, and he reaches a hand out to the wall to steady himself.

His eyes burn, but it’s become a normal sensation.

People say he’s just Ladybug’s sidekick, just a permanent type miraculous wielder that isn’t important. They’re right, after all. He only holds her back... creates problems. He can destroy anything he touches, it makes sense that he would destroy any relationship he has with anyone. His arm buckles with another shake, and he slams into the porcelain tiles. But, he can’t find it in himself to care.

Love Square Fics

So, given that I write for a lot of pairings, I thought it would be handy to make kind of master-posts of fics I’ve written by ship so that people can more easily find a ship they’re looking for without having to dig through my works page (and also to show me what pairings I should write more for), so here are all of the love square-centric fics that I have written in no particular order just scrolling backwards through my AO3 page:
